- I'll deal with this. I should have dealt with it a long time ago.
The wise leader of the Circle Of Light and Drift's mentor. His belief in the Knights Of Cybertron is partly what convinced the crew to go on their quest.
- Arch-Enemy: With Star Saber for their conflicting views on faith and also because Star Saber betrayed the Circle of Light to the Legislators. However Star Saber kills him with shocking ease.
- Back for the Dead: He was never really featured prominently in any of the previous Transformers comics.
- BFS: Of the Energy Weapon kind.
- Big Good: Of the Circle of Light faction.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Star Saber quickly kills him once they both engage in battle.
- The Fundamentalist: A benevolent example, especially vis a vis Star Saber.
- Foil: To Star Saber.
- Katanas Are Just Better: Keeping in line with the original version's Japanese roots.
- Killed Off for Real: Courtesy of Star Saber's blade.
- Large and in Charge: A benevolent example; he's the leader of the Circle of Light. He also towers over most other Cybertronians.
- Religious Bruiser: A devout worshipper of the Guiding Hand.
- Token Good Teammate: Back when he was a member of Nova Prime's inner circle. He was ultimately expelled for this reason shortly before Nova embarked on his ill-fated exploration mission.
- Took a Level in Kindness: Compared to his previous appearances, he's much more mellow.
The Circle Of Light
An order of monks, scribes, and warriors who chose to leave Cybertron long ago rather than get involved in the war. Led by Dai Atlas, they sought to study and search for the Knights of Cybertron in peace.
- Badass Pacifist: They prefer not to fight but when forced to, they're almost unbeatable. They're noted to have cost Tyrest numerous Legislators.
- Demoted to Extra: Though they partially drive the plot of season 1, in season 2 they're all but forgotten about, as theire role has already been served.
- Hidden Elf Village: They hunkered down in their concealed city, intent on waiting out the Great War.
- Men of Sherwood: Rather than arrows they fancy swords, but still fits.
- Technical Pacifist: While they try to avoid violence as much as possible, Drift points out that this hardly means they're incapable of defending themselves.
- Ungrateful Bastard: They refuse to join the Lost Light crew in their quest because they think the crew is too immature and incompetent to actually find the Knights. This despite the fact that the crew saved the Circle from Tyrest.
