The main character, the titular "Son of the Hero."- Affectionate Nickname: Friends call him Yasu for short.

Hideo Kenzaki
The Kenzaki patriarch, he was once a hero of Ante Lande when he was younger.- Cool Sword: Liutberga has the power of winds and storm and has an intelligence system that calculates for the wielder so they can use magic.
- Blow You Away: Can use wind magic.
- Healing Hands: Can use healing magic.
- Heroes Prefer Swords: He is bonded to the Holy Sword of the Wind, Liutberga.
- Playing with Fire: Can use fire magic.
- Red Baron: Was called the Hero of Salvation in Ante Lande.
- Salaryman: His job is around the sales of measuring devices.

Madoka Kenzaki nee Sugiura
The Kenzaki matriarch, she was Hideo's companion when they were younger.- Age-Inappropriate Dress: Because she is now 47-years-old, her magical outfit is this now as opposed to when she had it when she was 17.
- Flight: Can fly with magic.
- Healing Hands: Can use healing magic.
- Magical Girl: She was this when she was younger. Unfortunately for her, the costume did not age with her.
- Magic Staff: She is bound to the Holy Staff of Fire, Marlowe.
- Noodle Incident: Once tried to fire lasers from her eyes but ended up burning her eyebrows and eyelashes.
- Playing with Fire: Primarily uses fire magic.
- Red Baron: Known as the Rainbow Sage in Ante Lande.

Yasuo's classmate from middle school who was reunited in the prep school.- Demonic Possession: Gets possessed by a Shii.
- Super-Strength: One of the effects of her Shii possession.

Dianaze Krone
A Magitech Knight who came to get the Hero Hideo to save Ante Lande once again.- Affectionate Nickname: Those who are close to her calls her Diana.
- Dual Wielding/Guns Akimbo: She wields her Tecnho Weapons Castor and Pollux this way. Castor in the right and Pollux in the left.
Erijina Krone nee Radagast
Diana's mother. Was a companion of Hideo and Madoka.- Affectionate Nickname: Is called Erize by her companions.
- Energy Bow
- Gadgeteer Genius: Pioneered in the creation of modern Techno Weapons.
Alexi Krone
Diana's father. Was a companion of Hideo and Madoka.- Ace Custom: Regulus of lightning, a Techno Weapon made for him by his wife.
- Affectionate Nickname: Is called Alex by his companions.
- General Badass: Became a general.
- Magic Knight: Was the one who created magic swordsmanship.
- Master Swordsman: Was more skilled in swordsmanship than Hideo.
- Posthumous Character: Killed before the start of the story.
- Red Baron: Was called Swordmaster.

William Bareig
A lynchpin being that is between a human and a Shii.
- Ambiguously Evil: He claims he is doing a greater good but he controls Shii and attacked the protagonists.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Being part Shii, his left eye glows red.
