Team NB4/The Four Guardians and The Angel

    In General
    Ells Ender
  • Author Avatar: Seems to be based off Emma Faith. Both their names even start with the letter E.
  • Brainy Brunette: Has brown hair and is quite an intelligent person.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Much like other characters with purple eyes in this universe, they signify her magical skill and prowess, as well as her ability to control Lunar Magic.
  • The Woobie: Her father died in a car accident when she was young, she’s been a victim of bullying at school, and a whole lot of pressure and stress has been put on her shoulders, so much so that she breaks down in tears after being told that she can control Lunar Magic, which is a rarity. Add in the fact that people are constantly trying to hunt her down and kill her.
    Violet Kuro
  • Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: She's stoic, snarky, seems to know more than she lets on, and wears her long black hair in a ponytail to boot.
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: With Dimitry.
  • Blow You Away: Out of all the elements, she's the most skilled in Air Magic, being the Air Guardian.
  • Braids of Action: In Guardian form.
  • Color Character: Her full name, when translated, means Violet Black.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: She's usually stoic and unfeeling, but is shown to have a soft side.
  • I Know Your True Name: In 'Violet Kuro', Violet calls Ms. Kuro 'mom', making her last name - well, Kuro, in turn revealing her to be Pitchi Kuro's daughter. She later adds that she kept it a secret from everyone in order to avoid any attention on her.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She's shown at times to relentlessly tease the guys, even going as far as to tease Astrid for his fear of heights by trying to push him down a Bottomless Pit, but she does care about them and value them as friends.
  • Long Hair Is Feminine: Inverted. She does wear her long hair in a Tomboyish Ponytail, though.
  • The Lad-ette: A tamer example, but she's a blunt and brash tomboy who's not afraid to stand up for herself and do stereotypically manly things.
  • The Snark Knight: The most sarcastic of the group, but she isn't at all a bad person.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Ells' Girly Girl.
  • Tomboyish Ponytail: She wears her high ponytail pretty neatly in contrast to her Lad-ette personality.
  • Skunk Stripe: Has a single white streak in her raven black hair, gained after transforming into a Guardian for the first time.
  • Supernatural Is Purple: Her purple eyes are frequently described as starry and like a dark night sky, signifying both her magical prowess and her inheritance, being the daughter of Pitchi Kuro, who is quite skilled in magic herself.
    Astrid Sticks
  • Big Brother Instinct: While Crystal is the older sibling, he tends to find himself acting like the older one most of the time.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The Responsible to Crystal’s Foolish.
  • Playing with Fire: Is the most skilled at Fire Magic out of all the elements, being the Fire Guardian.
  • The Woobie: To a degree. All his life, people have been pushing him around, trying to control him and has always been pushed to the sideline. Even Crystal, his sister, never let him get involved in anything she does.
  • Dishing Out Dirt: Is the most skilled at Earth Magic out of all of the elements, being the Earth Guardian.
  • Making a Splash: Is the most skilled at Water Magic out of all the elements, being the Water Guardian.

The Magic Trials

    Wendy Kay
  • Braids of Action: Wears her hair in a braid and does quite a lot of action during her battle with the Guardians after her Face–Heel Turn.
  • Evil All Along: Is revealed to be the Chaos Spy in ‘Time to Strike’.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Wendy had been a friendly and generally passive person up until the Chaos Spy arc. During it, she starts acting a lot more Out of Character until she finally reveals she’s actually the Chaos Spy and has been working for the bad guys all along.
  • Genki Girl: She's quite the optimistic and excitable person.
  • Odd Couple: With Red. Wendy is perky and sweet-natured before her Face–Heel Turn, anyway, compared to the cocky and brash Red. Yet Wendy still develops crush on him. It’s so odd even Ells finds it weird.
  • Skunk Stripe: Has several blue streaks in her hair.
  • Taken for Granite: What ultimately ends up being her fate in ‘Drink The Mysterious Glowing Drink. It’s Good For You.’
