Su Mucheng's older brother and Ye Xiu's best friend, Su Muqiu was the original user of Dancing Rain and created the "Evil Annihilation" weapon for One Autumn Leaf and the "Myriad Manifestation Umbrella" - both weapons were given to Ye Xiu, though the latter was kept unused until he created Lord Grim. Muqiu serves as the primary motivation for Ye Xiu and Su Mucheng to enter the competitive scene, and is what keeps Ye dedicated towards regaining his position at the top of the professional league.

  • The Ace: Is considered by Wei Chen and Ye Xiu as the best in the Gunner-class, so much that when they imagine the possibility of him being alive in the present, they believe had he signed onto Excellent Era, the team would have become nigh unbeatable.
  • Cross Player: Invoked; Muqiu made Dancing Rain female to annoy his sister, but kept her into his competitive days.
  • Meaningful Name: "Qiu" means "autumn"; Muqiu's research skills were crucial in making One Autumn Leaf the strongest Battle Mage in the league.
  • Posthumous Character: He's been dead for almost ten years when The King's Avatar begins.
  • Retirony: Inverted; Muqiu was killed in a car crash a few days after signing Dancing Rain when the league was scouting the first batch of players for the professional league.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He is the reason why his best friend and sister are still competing in Glory years after his death; furthermore, both silver-tier weapons Evil Annihilation and Myriad Manifestation Umbrella remain in use.
  • Team Dad: In the Prequel movie, Muqiu was the one who recruited players for Excellent Era, stating them as his family, before his untimely death.
  • Teen Genius: Was an amazing silver-tier weapon researcher in his teens. Years after his death, his silver weapons are still being used in the league.
  • Too Good for This Sinful Earth: From the few times he officially makes an appearance, he's introduced as a great friend to Ye Xiu and an equally great brother to Su Mucheng, as well as a genius player of Glory. Hence he only appears in the story as a Posthumous Character.
  • Walking Spoiler: His existence explains how Ye Xiu got into Glory's competitive teams and how One Autumn Leaf and Lord Grim's weapons are specifically tailored to both characters.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Although the web novel explicitly states he was killed via car crash, the live-action series doesn't specify how he died.

Ye Qiu (叶秋) - Warning: Walking Spoiler

Ye Xiu's younger twin brother, Ye Qiu's identity was stolen when Ye Xiu needed to register for the Glory professional league.

  • Adaptational Jerkass: The live-action turns Ye Qiu into this by proxy of being ordered by their father to bring Ye Xiu home.
  • Can't Hold His Liquor: It's in the family genes; he's knocked out cold for several hours after a few glasses.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Initially shown to be a lot more polite and helpful than Ye Xiu; exemplified by the fact that whereas Xiu ran away from home, Qiu chose to remain behind. Turned on its head when Ye Qiu was the one who originally wanted to run away, but Ye Xiu beat his brother to the punch by making off with his luggage, thereby forcing him to stay at home. Ultimately Inverted when Ye Qiu reveals he never had any solid life goals at the time - Ye Xiu's pre-emptive actions saved his brother from a life of potential misery. Even after ten years, however, Ye Qiu still intends to leave the family.
  • Meaningful Name: "Qiu" also means "autumn"; the other reason Ye Xiu named One Autumn Leaf is because he wanted to honor his brother.
  • Walking Spoiler: Ye Xiu's second motivation for getting back to the top and why he insists on hanging onto his brother's name as a pseudonym in the professional scene.
