Creator

    TommyInnit
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tommyinnit_8.png
Most people find him annoying, and for good reason.
The boy who finds the mods and creator of the series, TommyInnit is the one who starts the numerous adventures that the group of guests do.
  • Cannot Talk to Women: Despite claiming to be The Casanova, Tommy also jokes that he has a hard time being around women. This gets turned up to eleven in the video about the "Time Manipulation Mod", where he asks the viewer to subscribe since he wants to impress a girl at his collegenote .
  • Casanova Wannabe:
  • The Dog Bites Back: Subverted in the "Real Life Mod" video. After being tormented by Scott for a good chunk of the video, Tommy gifts him a golden helmet with the Curse of Binding enchantment on in "tribute" to him, and immediately reveals his 'prank' by shouting that "It's got Binding on, bitch!" However, considering Scott is in Creative Mode, he easily takes it off without repercussions (e.g. dying).
  • Genre Blind: Zig-Zagging Trope. He apparently does not know who Pitbull or Usain Bolt are, but somehow knows who Hulk Hogan is.
  • I Want My Mommy!: A non-verbal one. At the end of the "Girlfriend Mod" video, after seeing the Girlfriend being the captain of the escape helicopter despite him and Charlie just defeating a giant version of her, Tommy exits the helicopter and closes the door behind him in-game, then runs out of his room to MotherInnit in real life.
  • Large Ham: As seen in the Colossal TNT video, "WILBUR? YOU THINK I'M A CHILD, YEAH? YOU THINK I'M NOT A MAN? YOU THINK I'M NOT BIG?"
  • Only Sane Man: While Philza usually occupies this role, Tommy can become this if the guests' escapades have become too much for him to handle. He's also usually this in videos without Philza, like the Prison and Pirate Mod videos.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: If Tommy is ever joining Phil as an Only Sane Man, it means that the hijinks of the others are just that bizarre.
  • Oop North: Tommy is from Nottingham and has a noticeable northern accent. Ninja lampshades this in the "Time Manipulation Mod" video, where he scolds Tommy for talking to the villagers in a "northern accent".
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: He wears a suit both in-game and in real life for the "Girlfriend Mod" video.

Guests

    Philza
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/philza_old.png
"Ah! Children! My only weakness!"
While the guests are fooling around and being all around cloudcuckoolanders, Philza is the one building Nether portals and gathering materials for an adequate base. Due to this, Philza is constantly at odds with the rest of the guests.
  • All for Nothing: The Lava Ravine mod video ends with everyone dying because of the lava leaking in through a window that was broken by Tommy, rendering Philza's hard work to build a base and survive all for moot.
  • The Cameo: Appears as an disembodied head in the Pirate Ship/Aether mod video, where he randomly appears and is "ejected" into the Aether void after Charlie uses him as a mask.
  • Child Hater: Downplayed. Philza hates baby zombies due to his 5-year old Hardcore Run ending because of one.
  • Cool Old Guy: Downplayed. While he's often made fun of for being old, he's only 32 as of the start of the series.
  • Lack of Empathy: When Tommy mourns Jack's death in the "TNT Rain Mod" video, he responds with "We're in hardcore mode and he can't come back. It's literally real life."
  • Not So Above It All: Blows up an entire village complete with an Evil Laugh in the "Colossal TNT Mod" video, which elicits a response from Wilbur of all people.
Wilbur Soot: Phil? Why are you so destructive today, man? You're normally the good guy!
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Despite helping the group by finding the End Portal and beating the game, Philza is constantly bullied and trolled by the group. He is even accused of adultery by Quackity in the "Void Mod" video.
  • Only Sane Man: Most of the time, he is the only one not participating in the guests' bizarre adventures and is the only one actively trying to get to The End. This gets him accused of adultery during the "Void Mod" video.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Tends to swear a lot, but not to the extent of Quackity or Tommy.

    Wilbur Soot
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_7541.png
The videos would only be 5–10 minutes long if it weren't for Wilbur Soot. Wilbur usually gets very deep into the roleplay and causes numerous problems for the group.
  • Auto-Tune: Hilarity Ensues when he uses this.
  • Big Bad: Is the only thing closest to this trope in the series. From transforming into a dragon to stealing people's organs, Will usually causes several issues.
  • Karma Houdini: Wilbur always gets away with the numerous things he's done during the videos, no matter how heinous those acts are.
  • Large Ham: Is known to make dramatic and loud speeches completely out of nowhere.
  • Mad Doctor: The character he adopts in the surgery mod episode, messing with people's organs during surgery.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Would you want to visit a doctor whose surname is "Malpractice"?
  • Sanity Slippage: Expect any video featuring him to involve him undergoing this, as he lampshades in the "Laser Eye Mod" video. Examples of this include and are not limited to:
    • Starting a "mule bits" store and a cult with a mule as its god in the "Natural Disasters mod" video.
    • Subverted in the Size Change mod video, where Quackity becomes this trope after growing to a massive size.
    • Taking the persona of "Keith" the dragon in the "Dragon Morph mod" video, who is looking for his wife and randomly kills Quackity, Tommy and Philza at random moments within the video. Subverted when "Keith" is finally killed at the end of the video, and it is then revealed that Wilbur has no memory of what he has done as Keith.
    • Taking the persona of "Doctor Malpractice" in the "Surgery Mod" video, where he takes various organs from Tommy, Slimecicle, Philza and Quackity and experiments on them by putting random organs (including that of a llama) inside them.

    Quackity
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/quackity_with_leg.png
"I have a new band idea called Alvin and the Chipmunks!"
Quackity is the loudest, craziest one of the group, and arguably a bigger troublemaker than Wilbur. Quackity thrives on causing as much chaos as he physically can, switching between skins and personalities completely at random.
  • Achievements in Ignorance: Manages to kill the Ender Dragon at the end of the "Extreme Jump mod" video, despite doing nothing but switch personalities and ramble incoherently the entire video.
  • Auto-Tune: Usually adopts this for one of his alternate persona gags.
  • Back for the Dead: Returns in the "Girlfriend Mod" video where he is found half-dead in the suburbs, telling Tommy and Charlie to get to the helipad through the sewers before screaming and promptly dying.
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: His first action after seeing a herd of cows is to attempt to sleep with them. Phil lampshades it.
Philza: We were here for three seconds, Quackity. Three seconds, and you're already talking about sleeping with the stock.
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: This man is utterly insane even by the standards of the series. He switches personalities faster than he can switch between lovers, owns a borderline illegal website called "unsatisfiedwives.com", is willing to sleep with a dragon 5 times his size, attempts to seduce Philza and then accuses him of sleeping with the villagers, and after being separated from the group for 10 minutes, he starts incoherently rambling about Pitbull and McDonald's.note
  • Funny Foreigner: Quackity is Mexican, and makes a lot of jokes about this. He often randomly starts speaking Spanish as a gag, and in the first video, briefly adopts the persona of Mexican Dream.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: He tends to swear a lot, especially when he's in a different persona.

    Jack Manifold

  • Awful Wedded Life: In the "Prison Escape" video, Jack Manifold is in the eponymous prison in order to stay away from his wife.
  • Butt-Monkey: So far, in every video he apears in, Jack is always the one who suffers the most. This is especially evident in the Prison Escape Map, where he is the most frequent victim of the "Funny Box", even when he isn't doing anything wrong.
  • Character Catchphrase: In the "Real Life Mod" video, "We're earnin'!". The problem is that everyone else is dragging him down and preventing him from "earnin'".
  • Even the Guys Want Him: Played for Laughs in the beginning of the "Real Life Mod" video, where Schlatt's persona is seen... ahem, fondling him in the game.
  • Killed Mid-Sentence: "AAAAAAAAA–". In the TNT Rain Mod as he is killed by raining TNT.
  • Only Sane Man: In the "Real Life Mod" video, Jack is the only one concerned about getting supplies to beat the game in the 80-minute time limit that MrBeast set for the challenge (before everyone gets teleported to the End), because he wants to "earn". As a result of this, he also acts as the Butt-Monkey for the entire video.

    Tubbo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tubbo_4.png
"Y'know, I've been in this prison for 20 years, Schlatt, is it alright if I just... kinda leave?"
Tommy's best friend. Tubbo is mostly well-meaning, if a bit ditzy, and tends to get roped into the chaos by the others around him. However, he has a massive chaotic streak of his own, and is not afraid to pick fights if need be.
  • Hilariously Abusive Childhood: Tubbo did not have a good time working for Wilbur's Mule Bits shop, being held prisoner in the basement and forced to slaughter mules.
  • Improbable Age: Is going on his 20th year in prison at the age of 20.
  • Token Evil Teammate/Token Good Teammate: Depends on who you're rooting for. In the "Prison Escape" video, he's one of the inmates, but endears himself to the prison guards and starts working against Tommy's escape attempt.

    Jschlatt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jschlatt_6.png

  • Addled Addict: In the "Real Life Mod" video, he starts to inhale drugs in the middle of the video, to the point that he dies to a bunch of blazes that Scott spawned while inhaling the white powder.
  • The Alcoholic: Drinks bottle after bottle of rum during the Pirate/Aether mod video and is noticeably affected by it. He tries to justify their visit into the Aether as him "being fucking drunk".
  • Animal Lover: Tames two dogs in the RLCraft video and grows pretty attached to both of them, even giving one golden armor. Their deaths at the hands of a lava trap hit Jschlatt pretty hard, despite only giving one of the dogs a name.
  • Bad People Abuse Animals: In the "Real Life Mod" video, he randomly kills Tommy's axolotl Chev.
  • The Bus Came Back: Finally reappears in the "Prison Map" video, after being absent for 12 videos straight since the "Morph mod" video.
  • Deadly Euphemism: Calls the command block in the Prison mod a "Funny Box".
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Gets stuck in his own "Funny Box", allowing Tommy to escape the prison while Jack operates the "Funny Box".
  • Only Sane Man: Downplayed. He is still as wacky as the rest of the guests, but doesn't get as deep into the roleplay as Wilbur or Slimecicle.
  • Politically Incorrect Hero: Schlatt's online persona is of a strongly conservative conman who hates Obama that makes tons of offensive jokes or statements. While he never actually makes a joke like that in Tommy's videos, the others constantly joke about Schlatt making offensive statements or getting "cancelled".
  • This Is Gonna Suck: After hearing Wilbur try to imitate Tommy's accent in the "Morph mod" video, he can only respond with. "Oh no. Don't do anything I wouldn't."

    Slimecicle
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/slimecicle_4.png
"What Minecraft mob has fat nuts?"
A series full of funny moments isn't complete without its very own Pungeon Master. Charlie Slimecicle usually occupies this role, complete with some Auto-Tune to make the Hurricane of Puns even funnier.
  • Asshole Victim: His death in the "TNT Rain mod" video at the hands of falling TNT was anything but underserved.
  • Auto-Tune: Mainly Played for Laughs, especially when the Morph Mod is involved.
  • Big Bad: Whenever Wilbur is absent, it's usually Charlie who causes the most trouble.
  • Drill Sergeant Nasty: Eagerly takes this role as a warden during the Prison Escape video.
  • Genre Savvy: Having previously suffered through the horrors of the RL Craft mod, during that mod video, he warns Tommy and Schlatt ahead of time that the mod is "a little intense".
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: He is pretty stressed out at the start of the video about the RLCraft mod, and due to the stress of it all, does not make a single pun the entire video.
  • Pungeon Master: Any video featuring him isn't complete without him spewing out a Hurricane of Puns.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: In the "Girlfriend Mod" video, and it is even reflected on his Minecraft skin!note

    Ninja
A famous and renowned E-sports player, Ninja is married to a certain GeorgeNotFound and the two are not Happily Married at all.
  • Awful Wedded Life: His "marriage" with GeorgeNotFound is not pleasant to say the least. He even attempts to murder him numerous times during the "Floor is Lava" mod video.
  • Brief Accent Imitation: Briefly adopts an Australian(?) accent when explaining why he still has an E-girl skin.
  • Call a Rabbit a "Smeerp": Being primarily a Fortnite player, he occasionally lapses into Fortnite terminology. For example, during the Time Manipulation video, he describes towering as "cranking 90s", which is a build technique in Fortnite that serves the same purpose, but is radically different in execution.
  • Hidden Depths: Can understand the Minecraft villagers and can apparently speak their language fluently. He also understands that giving Wilbur any sort of power is a bad idea, citing that he has "addictive tendencies".
  • Mythology Gag: Him being "married" to George is a reference to the Dream SMP.
  • Sweet Polly Oliver: Wears an E-girl skin, despite being a grown man in his 20s. He tries to justify this by saying that his account was "hacked" and that the skin has become a part of him.

    GeorgeNotFound

  • Mythology Gag: Him being "married" to Ninja is a reference to the Dream SMP.

    Ranboo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ranboo_void.png
"You can trust me."

  • Bus Crash: After not appearing since the "Pirate Ship/Aether" video, Ranboo appears in the "Girlfriend Mod" video... as a corpse on the side of the road, with the implication that the zombies found in the area killed him.
  • Implausible Deniability: In the "Rising Void" video, Ranboo is a "Void denier" who claims the Void isn't rising and consuming the world as it ascends, joking that a majority of the viewers would stop defending him once they found out. Even after directly falling into the void and dying, he still adamantly claims that the Void is no threat.

    Technoblade

  • Mythology Gag: During the "Wither Morph" video, he hides out in a cave when Wimothy (Wither!Charlie) comes hunting for him, and claims to have gone "north" when Wimothy asks where he is. He employed a similar tactic during MrBeast's Minecraft Hide-and-Seek, camping out in a cave and then claiming to be in Antarctica when Beast got close.
  • Pig Man: Techno takes the form of a pre-1.16 Pigman.
  • Suicide Attack: Sets off a bed against Wimothy at point-blank with no cover, taking out the Wither and leaving Tommy and Phil free to fight the Ender Dragon without any explosive distractions.

    Scott Smajor
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_7542.png
"Oh, you think you have any power here? That's cute."

Recurring Characters

    Auto-Tuned Bees
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pollen.png
"The queen is near! The queen is near!"
Wilbur and Charlie's bee personas that appear during videos involving the Morph Mod. They are constantly looking for a "queen", whatever that entails.

    Mr. Worldwide
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mr_worldwide.png
The most recurring of Quackity's many personas, he is an obvious Expy of Pitbull.
  • Captain Ersatz: He is obviously a carbon copy of Pitbull, but constantly calls himself "Mr. Worldwide". Ranboo even calls him "Pitbull" in the "Void" video.
  • Character Catchphrase: "DALE!".
  • Cool Shades: His Minecraft skin has Pitbull's signature shades.
  • The Cuckoolander Was Right: He constantly asks Tommy and Wilbur about where the Joker is, and the Joker immediately appears after Mr. Worldwide leaves and starts harassing both Tommy and Philza.

Special Guests

    MotherInnit
Tommy's mother, who makes a cameo at the end of the "Girlfriend Mod" video.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Due to utterly lacking in context towards what happened earlier in Tommy's video (as well as a bit of miscommunication), she expresses No Sympathy to her son's plight.
Tommy: Mum- Mum, I just met a woman, you– you wouldn't believe it!
MotherInnit: Oh, lovely! When's she coming over?
(Cut to Tommy almost choking in fear)
  • The Voice: We only hear her voice, even with Tommy's camera.

    MrBeast
The catalyst for the "Real Life Mod" video, who set up a challenge where Tommy and co. have to get supplies within an hour and 20 minutes before they are all teleported to the End to beat the game, and if they succeed in doing so, they get $10,000.
  • Uncle Pennybags: He enjoys giving people money, even when it's not in his videos.
