These notable characters are featured here and will be expanded across both roleplays over time. The characters are placed in folders depending on which Recursion or Realm they orginated from. Evermore who appeared as Evermore once before but later returned only to not be Evermore go here.

    Winterhail

Arc

A young, easily scared robot living in the City of Refuge.

  • Food Slap: A varitation. He throws oil into his kidnappers face to try and escape. It fails, but it gets the attention of the nearby Evermore.
  • Nice Guy: When not actively terrified, he is quickly shown to be this.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: Does this as he is kidnapped by the grapplebot.
  • The Woobie: Seems to be becoming this.

Hypno-Disc

A mercenary operating around Winterhail. He is also one of the Original Evermore.

  • BFG: His ranged weapon happens to be a 20mm Hispano cannon. And it's considered a rifle by his standards.
  • Demoted to Extra and Ascended Extra: He was one of the Original Evermore and didn't return as an Evermore in Realms. However, his role in Recursions was extremely limited. He does return in Realms as a major character from Winterhail, seemingly set to play a larger role.
  • In-Series Nickname: Is generally refered to as Hypno by most Robots he meets.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Carbide's red.
  • Spectacular Spinning: His flywheel is this. It's justified in quickly short order when the very same flywheel is able to send other machines flying or breaks them apart on impact. It even proves capable of destroying a dedicated anti-spinner shield.
  • Student–Master Team: The master to Carbide's student.
  • Took a Level in Badass: In Recursions, Hypno-Disc spent most of his time stuck inside a tight room on a ship and didn't have much of a chance to fight in combat. In Realms, he proves extremely dangerous, clearing a room of 25 armed robots in at least a couple of minutes with his flywheel. Most of them practically in seconds. The only time he is even remotely challenged is by a robot with an anti-spinner shield. Which he promptly destroys with the flywheel anyway.

Carbide

A mercenary operating around Winterhail and companion to Hypno-Disc.

  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Downplayed, Carbide can act somewhat jerkish to others, but she does genuinely respect Hypno-Disc and to those she thinks deserve it, showing underneath her rough attitude that she is a decent person at heart.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The red to Hypno's blue.
  • Spectacular Spinning: Carbide is equipped with a spinning bar, which is more than capable of slicing robots up and knocking them away.
  • Student–Master Team: Is the Student to Hypno's master.
  • Surpassed the Teacher: Downplayed, apparently she was able to win a competition that Hypno could not, however, she hasn't shown to have completely surpassed Hypno. In a more Meta case, this is Truth in Television, as in the actual Robot Wars show that Winterhail is based on, Carbide, a spinner bot and the closest thing to a spritiual successor to Hypno-Disc wins a series of Robot Wars. Something that Hypno-Disc came close to achieveing three times but was never able to win.

Dead Metal

One of the House Robots of Winterhail and former Berserker, as well the only one active outside of the Sanctum.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Dead Metal is often called 'Del' by his partner Meridian.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Dead Metal was initally a member of the Berserker Empire, a force intent on converting or wiping out anything in it's path. Whilst Dead Metal no longer considers himself on, he is clearly deeply troubled by this past, having nightmares about the invasions he took part in.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Compared to the other House Robots, Dead Metal has a much more horrific appearence and probably the darkest past of them all, yet he so far seems to be the nicest House Robot.
  • Determinator: Let us just say it takes an awful lot of effort to take Dead Metal down.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: After his partner Meridian is killed, Dead Metal is seemingly set to go ahead with one of these against Death Metal and Psycho's faction.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Dead Metal receives one of these by utalising old Berserker technology that Refbot kept hidden. The very same tech that allowed Death Metal to upgrade.
  • Nice Guy: Compared to the other House Robots and despite his more hellish appearence, Dead Metal has established himself as probably one of the de facto nicest characters in all of Winterhail, if not the nicest. This is lampshaded by Arc.
