The least mischievous of the main trio with a thick physique and a talent for sports.

    Braves

Dran/Goldran

Voiced by: Ken Narita

A Gold Brave in the form of a samurai. He is partners with Golgon, a Gold Brave with the form of a dinosaur, and they can combine to become Goldran.

  • Cool Car: Dran's vehicle mode is a three-seater with the steering column in the middle.

Leon/Leon Kaiser

Voiced by: Ryōtarō Okiayu

A Gold Brave in the form of a shogun. He is partners with Kaiser, a Gold Brave with the form of a lion, and they can combine to become Leon Kaiser.

  • Cool Plane: Leon transforms into a golden jet that fits the boys comfortably.
  • King of Beasts: Kaiser's a giant robot lion, and its combination if Leon is called the Beast King Combination.

Sorakage

Voiced by: Naoki Makishima

A Gold Brave in the form of a ninja. He can combine with either Goldran or Leon Kaiser to give them wings to fly.

  • Animal Mecha: Sorakage transforms into a large bird of some sort.

Silver Knights

Voiced by: Naoki Bando (all)

A group of Braves consisting of Jet Silver, Star Silver, Drill Silver, and Fire Silver. The former three can combine into Silverion, who can then combine with latter into God Silverion.

  • Brought to You by the Letter "S": The Silver Knights all wear roman numerals on their chest. Jet Silver is I, Star Silver is II, Drill Silver is III, and Fire Silver is IIII.
  • Drill Tank: Drill Silver has one for his vehicle mode.
  • Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: The Silver Knights all have shields (though Fire Silver's is more like a barrier), which carries over to (God) Silverion.
  • Sixth Ranger: Fire Silver is the traditional fourth member of the three-member combining team.

Advenger

Voiced by: Chafurin

A Brave taking the form of a black, flying locomotive.

  • Cool Train: As noted, Advenger transforms into a flying steam train.
  • Gatling Good: Mounts a Gatling gun on his left arm, just for good measure.
  • More Dakka: At first, it seems like Advenger is just the Big Guy of the 8 Legendra Braves. Then it turns out that he has missile launchers on his legs and left shoulder, a cannon on his right shoulder, a smart gun and Gatling gun attached to his arms, a handheld rifle, and the Galactica Buster in his chest.

Captain Shark

Voiced by: Jin Yamanoi

The secret ninth Brave.

  • Bigger on the Inside: Captain Shark is apparently big enough inside that his passengers can have lunch in a dining room without noticing that there's a battle going on outside - when he's in robot form.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Whereas the other Legendra Braves specialize in certain tactics and have some sort of Finishing Move, Captain Shark doesn't - his regular attacks are so powerful that he doesn't need style or finesse.
  • Sixth Ranger: Captain Shark was only meant to wake up in the case the other eight Metal Braves were to fall to some external corruption. He gets woken up anyway and, after a short while, decides to join the rest of the band on their Crystal Hunt.

    Walzac Republic Empire

Walter Walzac

A prince of the Walzac Empire who serves as the primary antagonist for the first part of the series.

  • Charlie Brown from Outta Town: In the second half, he dresses up as a pirate and calls himself Eater Ezack. Almost no one in the main cast is fooled by this, but they go along with the act anyway.
  • Redemption Promotion: He becomes considerably more skilled than before after he acquires Captain Shark and becomes the Brave Masters and Braves' ally.
  • Starter Villain: He basically is the main antagonist in the first half of the show.

Colonel Sangross

Voiced by: Chafurin

Walter's butler.

Sharanla Sheathluh

Voiced by: Junko Asami

Walter's fiance and stalker.

  • The Ditz: Sharanla is introduced this way. At least part of the reason Walter dislikes her is how dangerous this sometimes makes her.

Serious Walzac

Voiced by: Sayuri Sadaoka

A prince of the Walzac Empire and Walter's younger brother.

  • Knight of Cerebus: His first appearance marks the point when the show starts having less silliness.

Treasure Walzac

Voiced by: Shigezou Sasaoka

The emperor of Walzac and the father of Walter and Serious.
