    • Satoru - Blue
    • Shiki - Purple
    • Haruhito - Green
    • Meguru - Orange
    • Rein - Light Blue
    • Tsubasa - Pink
  • Flight: They're Demons/Angels. Of course they can fly.
  • Healing Factor: Being Demons/Angels they're a lot more resilient to injuries than humans.
  • True Companions: They may not act like it at times but they all look out for one another.

Demons

    Kakeru Kamui
  • Beauty Is Bad: At first but his attractiveness is mentioned several times.
  • Benevolent Boss: Kakeru is more tolerant of his people's foibles than one might imagine of a demon prince, and ultimately always has his eye on their best interests. On the whole, he runs his crew like a cross between an office manager and an exasperated older brother.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Kakeru is always looking out for Meguru, and has been since the day they met because that's what big brothers do. Kakeru is also very protective of Shiki, and is the first to worry about him, no matter how much he may deny it.
  • Broken Ace: He is very talented in any task you throw at him. Not to mention he juggles his Demon job, his Human job AND his Princely duties.
  • Chick Magnet: Very popular with the ladies of both the Human and Demon realms.
  • Clingy Jealous Guy: Very possessive of the heroine should you choose his route.
  • Competition Freak: During his route, he and the heroine go bowling, he is not satisfied until he beats her. Also mentioned in the crossover; 'My Devilish Bodyguard', he gets into a drinking contest with Subaru.
  • Energy Absorption: Can manipulate a humans life force by draining or giving it.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's actually really sweet. At first he's really cold and doesn't care about how the heroine feels despite she's going to die in 10 days.
  • Missing Mom: Kakeru's mother left when he was a child and he's had no contact with her since. At the end of Kakeru's route, Meguru reveals that she left because the Demon King forced her to, so that he could make Meguru's mother the Demon Queen. Had she not left, Meguru's mother was planning to poison her.

    Satoru Kamagari
  • The Charmer: Subverted at first. He charms the women he can use and the heroine is sometimes the victim of his smooth talking.
  • Chick Magnet: At first he fools around with a lot of women but is only using them for his own gain.
  • Defrosting Ice King: Goes from someone who only uses people to someone who can care about others, not only the protagonist but his teammates, too.
  • The Gadfly: Often messes around with the others and the heroine, especially Meguru.
  • Hopeless with Tech: Satoru does not know how to operate a TV remote control.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: At first he is very standoff-ish and doesn't trust anyone. Until you hear about his Dark and Troubled Past from Kakeru. He starts to open up to the heroine after she's ill from the fever she caught standing out in the rain for 4 hours. She was actually waiting for Satoru as he promised her a date. He forgets about the whole thing.
  • Number Two: The second in command in Kakeru's squad.
  • Opportunistic Bastard: Selfish, does nothing that wouldn't benefit him in some way.
  • Precognition: His demon ability lets him read the future of any person he touches.
  • The Power of Trust: Satoru sees no benefit in trusting others and looks at people purely on the basis of ways in which they might be useful to him. In the early stages of his route he mocks the protagonist for how easily she trusts others, but over the course of the ten days the trust that she places in him quickly begins to have an emotional impact on him.
  • Self-Made Man: In contrast to demon princes Kakeru and Meguru, Satoru clawed his way up to a respectable status in the demon realm's Decadent Court from nothing entirely on his own efforts. It's greatly informed his attitude towards trusting others and his tendency to view the people around him based on whether or not they can help him to advance further.

    Haruhito Amano
  • Brought Down to Normal: On Haruhito's route, his punishment for saving the protagonist from her scheduled death is to be stripped of his powers and exiled to the mortal world to live as a human. Since this means he and the protagonist get to be together, he's entirely okay with it.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Not the smartest of the bunch but is very good at what he does. Not to mention because he used to be an angel he can take souls up to heaven.
  • Cool Teacher: During his part of the "Devil's Work" side story, Haruhito temporarily becomes an art teacher at a prep school. The students are mostly so focused on academics that they can't be bothered to care about art, but Haruhito himself quickly becomes popular as a teacher thanks to his efforts to make art class an enjoyable escape from the pressure of constant studying.
  • Diving Save: In his "Dating a Demon" story, Haruhito pushes the protagonist out of the way of an oncoming car. He gets hit by the car himself, but fully expected to be able to just walk away from it since he'd survived worse as a demon. Instead, he gets a stark lesson in the frailty of human bodies.
  • Forgot I Couldn't Swim: In his "Dating a Demon" story, Haruhito keeps getting into trouble when he forgets that not only can humans not fly, but they're nowhere near as physically resilient as demons or angels.
  • Manchild: Easily the childish of the bunch despite being the oldest. Even Shiki mentions that he has the lowest mental age and he takes it as a compliment.
  • Nice Guy: From all of the devils, he's the nicest, may be because he used to be an angel.
  • Old Friend: He and Rein used to be partners.

    Shiki Kurobane

  • Brutal Honesty: Not afraid to speak his mind.
  • Cuddle Bug: After the heroine starts dating him, he's very clingy and hugs her in his sleep a lot.
  • Deadpan Snarker: If he isn't sleeping, he snarks, not even Kakeru is safe from him.
  • Misunderstood Loner with a Heart of Gold: On the surface he's rather cold and doesn't like getting to close to others. Due to his Dark and Troubled Past he's been very lonely because his parents were always busy due to being part of the aristocracy. When the heroine manages to earn his trust and he finally opens up to her he's really sweet and goes out of his way to make her happy as seen in his Christmas and Dating a Demon routes.
  • Not a Morning Person: It's extremely different to wake him in the morning or just in general.
    • Sleepyhead: Will fall asleep anywhere if he's tired.
  • The Stoic: He's usually seen with an indifferent look on his face.
    • Not So Stoic: After he opens up with the heroine, he smiles a lot more and he's a real sweetheart.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: Helps Satoru to prevent the plane crash, in which the protagonist's parents would have died, with no regards to a possible heavy punishment.

    Meguru Kamui
  • Abdicate the Throne: In Kakeru's route, Meguru renounces his position as the Demon King's heir, forcing the King to rescind the order to execute Kakeru in order to avoid a Succession Crisis.
  • Abusive Parents: Well Parent. His mother is only using him to overthrow the Demon King and Kakeru. when Meguru in is jail back in the Demon Realm awaiting his punishment, his mother makes him drink some medicine. Turns out this 'medicine' is a special potion which turns Meguru into a monster and no other demon would be able to stand their own against him.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Despite being second in line for the throne, during his childhood he was bullied by his peers as he was never thought of as a Prince by anyone.
  • Always Some One Better: Has a inferiority complex due to his brother, Kakeru being good at everything he does.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He is very protective of the heroine, even going as far as to knock everyone unconscious with the power in his left hand in order to escape with her.
  • He Is All Grown Up: Sweet little Meguru grows up in his sequel, to the delight of players everywhere.
  • Healing Hands: In his route he learns to control the power in his left hand and is able to heal wounds.

  • Supreme Chef: An amazing cook as he's the one in charge of cooking in the Demon House.
  • Team Mom: Explicitly stated in Rein's route.

Angels

    Rein Isaka
  • Accent Adaptation: In the Japanese version he speaks in Kansai-ben. In the English translation, he has an Irish accent.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: He's easily distracted by the Ice-cream truck when he should be looking for the heroine.
  • The Nose Knows: Commented on a lot as he has a really good nose when tracking toast victims.
  • Straight Man: Rein was this to Haruhito when they were partners, believe it or not. Rein even admits that a good deal of his own whimsical behavior is an attempt to fill the void left by Haruhito's absence.

    Tsubasa Shirai
  • Chick Magnet: In Satoru's sequel he gets introduced when a bunch of women are fawning over him. He is a model after all.
  • I Love You Because I Can't Control You: In Satoru's sequel he finds the heroine 'interesting' because she doesn't fall for his charms. This starts a heated rivalry between Satoru and Tsubasa.
