Lip Gloss is an outgoing, extroverted, but generally shy high schooler. She works to confront her bigoted friend group, meanwhile sneaking out in the night to meet with her friend Hairdryer.

"You're the bravest person I know. If you can jump into rapids to save a monster, even when you hate them, you can stand up to your friends."
Hairdryer is an aggressive howler monster who lives with a wolf pack across the river from Lip Gloss's hunting cabin. She tends to solve problems with violence or shouting. Hairdryer loves Lip Gloss very much and would do anything to protect her and her family.
