The erstwhile servant of Middleport's Lord Reinbach II, who transfers his devotion to Reinbach III after being fired. Micky is the Chibun Star, also known as The Learned Star, of the 108 Stars of Destiny.
- Foil: To Setsu. Micky is the young and scared servant of the Reinbach family, while Setsu is the old and noisy servant of the En Kuldes.
- Her Code Name Was "Mary Sue": He writes the novel "Rose Swordsman", focusing on Reinbach III's extremely embellished exploits, which later becomes a hit.
- Old Retainer: To the Reinbach family. Although he is still young, he's been in service with the family for years.
- Playing with Fire: In Naval Battles, he uses a Fire Rune Cannon.
- Promoted Fan Boy: He is a open fan of Reinbach III and got to write a novel about him.

An assassin hired by Schtolteheim Reinbach II to kill all people who have knowledge of the secret of the Middleport's fleet. Keen is the Teni Star, also known as The Strange Star, of the 108 Stars of Destiny.
- Confess in Confidence: His specialty. He runs the ship HQ's confession booth, essentially a way of finding out trivia about the recruited characters.
- Evil Wears Black: Downplayed. He wears dark clothes, is an assassin hired to kill Sirgurd and only joins Lazlo because he gets paid for it, but he isn't a antagonist and agreed to help to end the war.

- Informed Ability: Despite it being stated that he's a skilled assassin, Keen isn't available for normal battles and, in Naval Battles, his Fire Cannon has only 10 points of Strength.

A man from Iluya Island who survived the Kooluk Empire attack. Izak is the Tenyu Star, also known as The Star of Heroic Ferocity, of the 108 Stars of Destiny.
- BFS: He wields the huge Sword Of Purging. He also is part of a Combination Attack named "Giant Sword Attack", alongaside Axel and Selma.
- Big Guy
- Combination Attack: Izak performs the "Giant Sword B Attack" with Axel and Selma.
- Depopulation Bomb: He is one of the only survivors of Cray's giant rune cannon attack on Iluya island.
- Elemental Powers: In Naval battles, Izak can use Rune Cannons of every element, and has excellent affinity with the Earth Rune.
- Fetch Quest: He asks the hero to bring him a flower seed. This is so he can plant a tribute in memory of a young girl he knew, who loved flowers.
- Forehead of Doom: Has a big forehead.
- Zen Survivor: He's definitely this, after surviving the island-flattening catastrophe.
Nataly is a Window Maker who survived the destruction of Iluya Island. She is the Chiri Star, also known as The Star of Justice, of the 108 Stars of Destiny.
- It's Personal: She is deeply affected by the Iluya tragedy and resolves to help the hero fight the Kooluk.
- No One Should Survive That!: She is one of the few other survivors of the Iluya explosion.

A couple of cooks natives from Iluya. On the day following the destruction of their homeland by the Giant Rune Cannon, they washed up on the Nay Island shore and were nursed back to health by the its village chief. Kevin and Pam are the Chikei and Chisou Stars, also known as The Avenging Star and The Strong Star respectively, of the 108 Stars of Destiny.

An inventor from Nay Island. Oleg is the Chima Star, also known as the Devil Star, of the 108 Stars of Destiny.
- Anachronism Stew: He invents a camera, which accidentally records Iluya's destruction at the hands of the Cray Trading Company's Rune Cannon.
- Contrived Coincidence: Lino en Kuldes requested Lazlo to visit Nay island one day before the island of Iluya would be destroyed by a mysterious beam of light. The destruction was recorded by Oleg, who conveniently placed his new invention, a camera, on a hill and aimed at said island, so it could record the moment of its destruction and be sent to En Kuldes as evidence of a new Weapon of Mass Destruction.
- Forehead of Doom: Has a big forehead.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Not many people seem to get his camera idea, and it seems his invention is too far ahead of its time.
- For Science!: Subverted. He loves his gadgets and loves showing them to people. But he also likes to sell gadgets for money.

He just refuses to cooperate out of fear from Kooluk Giant Rune Cannon, and because he and the others inhabitants are elders without fighting ability.
- Satellite Character: The Nay chief only exist because the Nay Island, which itself is a Hufflepuff House, need to have a representative member to acknowledge Lino En Kuldes Golden Seal. Also, while the elder eventually decides to support Lazlo (only after every other islands chief did so), he has nothing to contribute, as the younger inhabitants from his island suffers from Small Town Boredom and moved for somewhere else.
- Betting Mini-Game: He runs the HQ lottery, which can be played to increase potch and win prizes. Its top prize is one of the game's best helmets.

Nalkul

- Corruption by a Minor: Courtesy of Mitsuba. She drags him into the life of a con artist.
- Distracted by the Sexy: It's implied that this is how he was defeated by Mitsuba.

- I Know You Know I Know: He is paranoid that Mitsuba knows a dark secret about him and so he obeys her very whim, lest she reveals all.

- Carry a Big Stick: She wields a gigantic mallet, the Mega Hammer, similar to one used at a carnival for the strongman test.
- Combination Attack: Millay can perform the "Nymph Attack" with Viki (Corselia in Tactics) and Millay.

- Defeat Means Friendship: In both games, she joins the group after being bested by the hero.

- Combination Attack: Can perform the "Fisherman Attack" with his friend, Shiramine.
- Elemental Powers: In Naval Battles, Ugetsu can use Rune Cannons of every element, is excellent with water magic and joins with a Water Rune attached.
- Fishing Mini Game: His specialty. Ugetsu runs the pole-fishing game, where the fish caught can be taken to the restaurant and made into HP restoratives.

- Draw Aggro: He has a Firefly Rune, which he used to attract enemies.

- Jerkass: Even after Lino En Kuldes shows him the Golden Seal, he throws the party on a cell and forces them to commit theft to appease the injured Kooluk soldiers.
