Agents of the Four Seasons

The four people chosen to bring about the seasons in Yamato.

In General

Hinagiku Kayo

The current Agent of Spring. She was kidnapped by insurgents ten years ago and only recently returned to the world. Her Guard is Sakura Himedaka.

Broken Bird: Being locked away from the world for ten years has traumatized her greatly, although being with Sakura has allowed her to recover gradually.
- Her life before that wasn't great either. She was ostracized by her town for being the daughter of a mistress, and her mother was rarely with her due to her responsibilities as the Agent of Spring at that time.
Cherry Blossom Girl: Even though she isn't named Sakura, she is heavily associated with cherry blossoms and is always depicted as wearing pink.
Green Thumb: As the Agent of Spring, she can make plants grow.
The Ingenue: A darker example than most considering her dark past, but she is still a pure, innocent young girl.
Living Emotional Crutch: Sakura is this for her.
Pink Means Feminine: Usually dresses in pink.
Pseudo-Romantic Friendship: Has this with Sakura. A lot of the things they say to each other can easily be taken as things said by a couple in love, but ultimately they are just very important to each other and have separate male love interests.
Speech Impediment: Hinagiku was kidnapped at age six and imprisoned in a box for ten years, so it was only natural that her speech was affected badly. She speaks very slowly and almost childishly.

Ruri Hazakura

The current Agent of Summer. Her Guard is her older twin sister, Ayame Hazakura.

Annoying Younger Sibling: To Ayame, although it's partly because she just wants her undivided attention.
Arranged Marriage: Despite only being eighteen, she is in one.
The Beastmaster: As the Agent of Summer, she can control animals and use them as spies.
Bespectacled Cutie: She wears glasses.
Big Sister Worship: She actually adores her sister and wants her to remain by her side, but isn't very good at showing it until she gets a good talking to by Hinagiku.
Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The foolish sister to Ayame's responsible sister.
Twin Switch: She pulls this without her sister's knowledge when she chats with Sakura in Volume 1.

Nadeshiko Iwaizuki

The current Agent of Autumn. Her Guard is Rindo Azami.

Affectionate Nickname: She's called the Fairy by her team.
The Baby of the Bunch: She's the youngest of the Representatives at just seven years old.
Goo-Goo-Godlike: Has the power of Life Putrefaction, which can drain the life force from living things.

Rosei Kantsubaki

The current Agent of Winter. His guard is Itecho Kangetsu.

Dark Is Not Evil: He dresses in all black but is a compassionate man.
An Ice Person: He can create ice and snow as the Agent of Winter
My Greatest Failure: For years, he's had nightmares about not being able to save Hinagiku.

In General

Sakura Himedaka

The current Guard of Hinagiku Kayo.

I Will Find You: Even though everyone gave up on
Jerkass to One: She is generally civil but distant with everyone, but she despises Rosei and Itecho due to them giving up on the search for Hinagiku.
Lady and Knight: The knight to Hinagiku's lady.
Precocious Crush: She had one on Itecho when she was younger and still has some feelings for him, though she's repressed them.
Undying Loyalty: Sakura is completely devoted to Hinagiku.

Ayame Hazakura

The current Guard and older twin sister of Ruri Hazakura.
