Seren Evans AKA Astra

The founder and leader of Astra's league, one of the nine astronauts who were given superpowers after encountering the Howler on the Moon.

• Batman Can Breathe in Space: Astra wakes up from getting her powers in the vacuum of space, completely unharmed.
• Expy: She's very similar in powerset to Carol Danvers and Superman and holds a similar position to them as the leader of the global Super Team.
• Light 'em Up: Astra's powers are based around manipulating pure energy, and it's most often displayed as pure light.
• Older Than They Look: She hasn't aged a day since she got her superpowers at 28.

Aradia

Aradia Johanna Christa Scomparsa-Prince-Furst

The financier and unofficial second-in-command of Astra's League. One of the richest people in the world thanks to her inventing and selling Magitek.

• Damage Control: Aradia uses her company to finance repair operations to fix things that break in superhero fights.
• Expy: She has Tony Stark's technical skill and Stephen Strange's magical skill, and both of their positions as powerful members of the global Super Team.
• Extra-ore-dinary: She is able to easily manipulate the otherwise unbreakable Celestial Adamantium.
• Famous Ancestor: It's mentioned that Aradia and her grandfather are descended from Merlin and Morgan le Fay.
• Fiction 500: Aradia is one of the richest people in the world, and uses her company FursTech to fund Astra's League,repairs for damages from superhero fights, and to institute a privatised Basic Income program.
• Gadgeteer Genius: It's not as evident as her magical skill, but much of the technology her company sells was designed by her personally.
• Magic Dance: Her style of spellcasting is explicitly described as dance-like, as opposed to her grandfather's Supernatural Martial Arts style.
• Magical Native American: She's a quarter native american, through her grandfather, but the majority of her magic is decidedly non-native.

• Expy: Like his grandaughter, he's based off of Steven Strange, particularly his casting style and color scheme.
• Famous Ancestor: He has a sliver of european ancestry, descended from the original Merlin and Morgan le Fay.
• Magical Native American: Subverted. He is Ho-Chunk, but his magical power comes from european ancestry.
• Merlin and Nimue: He took his granddaughter as an apprentice when she was a child, but as an Aversion to the usual betrayal they are the only two living members of their family who still speak to one another on a regular friendly basis.
• Supernatural Martial Arts: His style of spellcasting.

Neon

Rey Walker AKA Neon

A powerful street-level Super Speedster, inducted into Astra's League to help revitalise its ranks and refocus its crime-fighting efforts.

• Expy: Rey was almost identical in powerset to Abigail Walker before getting the Heart.
• Glass Cannon: It only takes a single solid hit to take her out of a fight, but until then she can do a lot of damage.
• Light 'em Up: Neon is powered by electrical plasma, which as her name suggests is mostly collected from Neon signs. After she joins Astra's League, Aradia gives her a backpack fusion reactor, which gives her much more, purer, and more energetic plasma, her max speed and range increases exponentially.
• Mysterious Past: She's from New Jerusalem but apparently was taken to the Astraverse when she was very young, before she could form any memories about the place.

The Harlequin

A supervillainess who has been tormenting the city of Danesville for decades.

• Body Horror: Her skin is unbreakable, but under the immense heat of a thermobaric explosion it is chemically vulnerable. When she blows up her mansion, her mask fuses to her face and her dress fuses to her skin. It's incredibly painful, and causes her already fragile mental state to shatter.
• Expy: She's aesthetically Harley Quinn with the personality of The Joker.
• Immune to Bullets
• Laughing Mad: In her less lucid moments.
• Secret Identity: Her civilian identity has never been uncovered, which allows her to fake her death and completely discard it while keeping up the appearance she was a good-natured philanthropist.

Doctor Lazarus

Dr. Steven Lazarus

• Bizarre Human Biology: He's done so much Mad Science on himself that his body has stopped resembling anything human on the inside.
• Death Is Cheap: Karen assumed as soon as she killed him that he'd be back somehow.
• Mad Scientist: Lazarus has dedicated his life to trying to invent immortality for himself, though when he finally invented something that successfully de-aged someone, he was killed.

Babalon

Jane Newark AKA Babalon

• Expy: She's a cross between Poison Ivy and Doctor Octopus.
• Green Thumb: She can control plants, and uses them to create vine tentacles to carry her around everywhere like Doctor Octopus
• Hero Killer: She claims that she killed five of the twelve dead Astra's League members.
• Lightning Bruiser: She's fast enough that she actually managed to land a hit on Super Speedster Rey.

• Ambiguously Brown: In the same way as her alternate universe self.
• Expy: She's a more sane version of Deadpool.
• Healing Factor: Her healing factor works on a scale of seconds.
