Cut for Speculative Troping. I just rewatched the whole Darkside storyline, and there isn't anything to suggest an incestuous feeling on Kurow's part towards Yurika. He treats her with contempt, and the ending mentioned just features him telling her that he expects her to "do a good job and obey (his) commands" — that's the only interaction they have in the ending.

* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Exaggerated. Despite being Yurika's younger brother, he is incredibly possessive of her to borderline incestuous levels. When Yurika betrays him out of conscience, he furiously brands her a traitor.

* BrotherSisterIncest: The [[MultipleEndings Darkside Student Council ending]] strongly implies that he might lust after his older sister Yurika.
%%** This doesn't take into account the noticable IncestSubtext that's present between the two in the Darkside story. [[{{Squick}} Eugh...]]

* VillainousIncest: Desires to have Yurika all to himself, and is rightfully portrayed as a unabashed villain.

The Japanese for 'crow' is 'karasu', and as noted here 'Kuro(w)' just means 'ninth son', so have altered for accuracy.

* MeaningfulName: "Kurow" (Kurō 九郎) means "crow"[[note]]Actually, the kanji set means "ninth son", but that's pretty far from meaningful in this case[[/note]], which suits his dark personality. Additionally, "Kirishima" means "island of fog", so he's "the crow from the island of fog" -- pretty apt.

* DullEyesOfUnhappiness: Yurika typically wears a very maudlin expression, though it's not surprising, considering the way her brother treats her.

* DualBoss: For their team's second story mode battle, he and Roberto double-team Natsu after she and Shoma have an argument. Shoma and Roberto start the match with 3 full stocks of super meter[[note]]they start with 5 in the UsefulNotes/PlayStation version[[/note]], while hers is empty. Meaning, they get to use their [[LimitBreak Burning Vigors]] and their team-up attack right from the start. So if you're using Shoma as your primary character, it's basically a CurbstompBattle. But if you're using Natsu, [[ThatOneBoss it's one of the most lopsided matches]] [[PerfectPlayAI in the game.]]

When the school is the target of kidnappings and attacks, he sets out on his own to find out who is responsible. He doesn't assist his students, believing that they need to find out the problem and solve it on their own.
