• Achilles' Heel: Sadrog's first hidden ability is Defeatist.
• Amphibian Assault: An evolution line of ill-tempered frogs.
• Amphibian at Large: Peperee is 1.7 meters tall and weighs 150 kilos - the largest extant frog, the goliath frog, is a fifth the size and a fiftieth the weight.
• Breaking Old Trends: Smugrok, as well as Wienebark and Corsharrk, evolve into their final form starting at level 38, rather than at level 36 like the other two sets of starters.
• Dishing Out Dirt: Peperee gains the Rock typing.
• Frog Men: All three are bipedal frogs.

Hodtog, Wienebark and Saudoge

Fire-type literal wiener dogs. Hodtog is a common pet that was once often eaten. Its evolution, Wienebark, is noted to have bitten a child who took a bite out of it. The last stage of evolution, Saudoge, takes to the skies, where many people confuse it for a dragon.

• Adopt the Food: Was a delicacy long ago, but is now a popular pet.
• Anthropomorphic Food: A literal hot dog.
• Blow You Away: Saudoge gains the Flying type.
• Food Eats You: Wienebark is described as having 'returned the favor' to a child that bit into it.
• Last Lousy Point: Hodtog is only found in specific portions of the fire region of Mt. Keketoa, which requires Rock Climb, while the other two starters are available as soon as you enter the Ebin Isles.
• Non-Damaging Status Infliction Attack: Its first hidden ability, Wonder Skin, reduces the accuracy of these types of moves. For what it can do itself, it learns Will-O'-Wisp, Glare, and Mean Look.
• Our Dragons Are Different: While not a Dragon-type, Saudoge is often mistaken for one. Its long body and mammalian face are common traits of Eastern dragons.
• Playing with Fire: A Fire-type, to the point that it grills itself by the time it evolves into Saudoge.
• Production Throwback: To the official games. Saudoge is a Fire-Flying type that is often mistaken for a Dragon-type.

Walking sharks with a tendency to steal from people by assembling large groups. Gnarrk pickpocket tourists on cruise ships, Corsharrk group up on land to rob from stores and from travelers, and Davyjaws lead crews of the former onto land to raid, protecting them as needed.

• Dressed to Plunder: While Gnarrk and Corsharrk only have headbands, Davyjaws has a bicorne, a coat, a peg-leg, and a hooked hand.
• Go Through Me: Davyjaws defend the weaker members of their crews as needed.

• A Pirate 400 Years Too Late: Have classical pirate aesthetics, though given that two of their abilities are Torrent and Download, they seem to be well-adapted to piracy in the modern day.

Egylamp is a small oil lamp that was originally imported as a light source in Fochun, but nowadays resides within the abandoned lighthouse of Elbin Islands. One would think that being Fire/Psychic, it would evolve into a fellow Fire/Psychic genie Tunakking, but no, instead, it is only compatible with the Thunder Stone, which evolves it to Ruselamp, a humanoid modern lamp that is Electric/Psychic-typed.

Meanwhile, Mehnidor is a small, spherical Fire/Rock meteorite wearing a turban that lives in the outskirts of Mt. Kekorta. With the Fire Stone, it evolves into Tunakking. This line is based on Tunak Tunak Tun by Daler Mehndi.

Chromox has incredible speed and Abilities that either affect its Speed or an attacking stat, on top of getting access to powerful moves such as Eruption and Techno Blast.
• Nerf: In the 1.3 release, Chromox's Special Attack was decreased by 20 points and it lost access to Eruption, making its strongest move the less reliable Overheat.

• Dumpster Dive: Fireshitwi's Pokédex entry mentions them doing this for sustenance.
• Elemental Embodiment: Averted. While it appears to be a living fireball, at its core is a small mass of fecal matter.
• Fantastic Diet Requirement: Members of this line need to consume garbage and waste to sustain themselves.
• Playing with Fire: Obviously Fire-typed.
• Poisonous Person: Being a Poison type.
• Toilet Humor: Composed of flaming feces.

• One-Gender Race: Slugbud and Slughug are only female, and Slugfugg is only male.
• Selective Obliviousness: Despite Slugfugg's undeniable masculinity, some maniacs insist that only female ones exist.
• Take That!: The line is partly a joke at the expense of a user of /vp/, infamous for repeatedly asserting that Goodra is a female-only Pokémon. It isn't.

• Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: Goryannus, who is a demonic creature resembling the Gore Magala whose name is supposedly derived from said creature and "tyrannus" (scientific term used to describe T. Naturally, the game makes fun of it whenever it can, from its category (">Gory Anus Pokémon") to the Pokedex entry for Spookscare, Skeletroll's other evolution:
  "Spookscare is a tricky trickster that has plenty of time for fun and scares. Its anus has never been gory."

Narwhiz is found in a sunken ship underwater in Silver Point, and Niterpent is found in a secret chamber of Blacksmith Manor after interacting with a scientist in Telekino City. Narwhiz is a spacefaring serpentine narwhal that instills nightmares and sings on nights of the new moon, and Niterpent is a living war machine created by Outcast Island's Nazis to emulate it.

• Arm Cannon: Niterpent has two.
• Bizarre Alien Reproduction: Narwhiz converts material it has eaten into Blobbos, a Pokémon which cannot breed to perpetuate itself.
• Eaten Alive: Niterpent was designed to harvest energy from consuming living tissue, but as the project developed, it refused to eat an enemy it hadn't slain.
• Fourth Reich: The reason behind Niterpent's development.
• Grew Beyond Their Programming: Niterpent was originally created as a weapon of war, but developed empathy.
• Glass Cannon: Niterpent has extremely high Attack and Special Attack with passable Speed, but poor defenses, at least in Legendary terms.
• Honor Before Reason: Niterpent refused to consume still-living things, even if killing them meant it used more energy and meant it didn't get as much back.
• Humans Are the Real Monsters: One of the journal entries in the hidden chambers of Blacksmith Manor laments how Niterpent had a bigger heart than the people who created it.
• Lunacy: Narwhiz learns various moon-themed moves: Moonblast, Moonlight, and Lunar Dance.
• Magic Versus Science: The defining theme of the duo.
• Making a Splash: The Water-type Narwhiz.
• Mirror Character: They reflect each other in many ways, particularly mechanically.
  • Their types, Water/Fairy and Electric/Fire, interact in a way that means that their primary attacking type is super-effective against the other, but their secondary attacking type is not very effective.
  • Narwhiz's normal ability is Magician, and Niterpent's is Technician.
  • Both learn moves every 5 levels with some parallels. The only level-up moves the two share are Coil and Ancient Power.

Griffawork being a blue-and-white griffin representing the 'blue boards', which disallow NSFW content, Boarnograf being a red-and-black anthropomorphic boar representing the 'red boards', which permit it, and Admoot being a small white humanoid cat with fairy wings, a hammer, and a tiara representative of 4chan founder and former administrator Christopher Poole, well-known by the 'Moot' alias.

• Cuckold: According to the Pokédex, Admoot will let other Pokémon sleep with its girlfriend.
• Full-Boar Action: Boarnograf, obviously.
• Good Animals, Evil Animals: Griffins are associated with nobility while swine are associated with corruption and material desires.
• Our Gryphons Are Different: Griffawork.
• Perverted Pig: Boarnograf, being a direct representation of explicit content to the point of its name being a play on 'pornography'.
• Recurring Element: Admoot is Clover's equivalent to the small, cute, fairylike Mythical Pokémon in the official games, and shares the stat spread of 100 in every value. It even shares its Pokédex number, 385, with Jirachi, a representative of this archetype in the official games.
• Secret Art: Griffawork and Boarnograf are the only Pokémon with the ability Beast Boost.

Based off of a doodle from a thread on /vp/ wherein the OP challenged other posters to draw their favorite Pokémon without any visual reference.
