The player character, a sheltered church girl who lived her life in relative peace in a town rife with crime and the mafia.- Audience Surrogate: Naturally as the player character, but as an ordinary civilian she does receive quite a bit of exposition on how each mafia operates depending on the route.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Downplayed when compared to her love interests’ levels of possessiveness, but in Dante’s 1926 route she’s shown to be jealous of a woman who was flirting with Dante and even confronts him about this.
- Cuteness Proximity: Has a soft spot for animals, as shown with how she reacts to a panda and a kitten.
- Damsel in Distress: It’s a given since she’s an average young woman suddenly thrown into the mafia. She’s even kidnapped by her love interests of all things.
- Dude Magnet: Before the events of the game, Dante was already fond of her, and Roberto (a non dateable character) is in love with her.
- The Dulcinea Effect: A rare gender inverted example. Her bleeding heart and compassion for others simply won’t allow her to leave anyone to suffer, including strangers.
- Feminine Women Can Cook: All the love interests are quite fond of her baked sweets.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Has golden hair and is very kind to everyone she meets.
- Mafia Princess: Potentially, as she can be the partner of either the Falzone or Visconti mafia.
- Morality Pet: She is this to each respective love interest to a varying degree.
- Nice Girl: She cares more for the people around her than herself.
- Oblivious to Love: She never notices Dante’s or Roberto’s affections, and even when she’s already in a relationship with any of the love interests she doesn't seem to realize how badly in love they are with her.
- Plot Device: If it weren’t for her role as the Key Maiden, she wouldn’t have been involved with the mafia at all. Not to mention how controversial the role’s existence is.
- Rape as Drama: There are a number of bad endings where this is her unfortunate outcome.
- She Cleans Up Nicely: Lili is already noted to be quite a cute girl but when she is given the opportunity to dress up, many love interests compliments how beautiful she looks.
- Smarter Than You Look: There are plenty of choices in some routes where she manages to impress and surprise characters way beyond her league.
- Unbroken Vigil: In 1926, when Yang drank poison for her and entered a coma she stayed by his bedside and didn’t give herself any rest, this is even coupled with her praying for his recovery.

The young capo of the Falzone family. Despite his young age, he is the legitimate successor who has been given "Special Education for the Gifted” since his youth.- First Love: In love with Lili since they were children.
- Hidden Heart of Gold: Despite his initial aloof exterior and mob boss persona he’s actually quite attentive to the MC.
- Hypocrite: The most titular example out of everyone being that despite his ramblings about honour and code it never stopped him from waterboarding an immigrant child in his route and raping Liliana (a woman hes claimed to love) in Orlok’s bad ending all to get back at him killing his father and Nicola.
- Icy Blue Eyes: Matches with his serious and seemingly cold demeanor.
- It's Personal: In Orlok’s route upon remembering that Orlok had killed his father and witnesses Nicola’s death by Orlok as well, he does anything to hunt down Orlok and the MC, when he achieves his revenge the result isn’t pleasant.
- Kick the Morality Pet: His raping of Lili and the implication he'll cut off the tendon to her legs in Orlok's tragic end is this.
- Sweet Tooth: Despite his cold exterior, he is often noted that he loves sweets. He starts opening up to Lili after she baked him a few.
- The Don: The current leader of the Falzone mafia.

The boss of the Visconti Family. He’s opposed to the Falzone Famly who have a different way of thinking. He’s an innovative thinker who isn’t bound by tradition, he loves freedom.- The Don: The current leader of the Visconti mafia.
- Hates Their Parent: Particularly despises his father for being a deadbeat and abusive to both him and his mother, to the point it's the reason he wears an eyepatch.
- Last Breath Bullet: In Dante's Tragic Ending in -Episodio 1926-, Gilbert shoots Liliana in the chest after being mortally wounded by Dante.
Nicola Francesca

Dante's cousin and second in command. Although he seems to be a gentleman, is there something hidden behind his consistent smile?- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: He’s gentlemanly and well mannered at first glance though he’d never let you forget that he’s mafia first and foremost.
- Chick Magnet: Is noted to attract women around Burlone.
- The Power of Family: He loves Dante like a brother and has a soft spot for him. It’s taken to the point that Nicola is willing to commit treason towards the Falzones if it meant freeing Dante from his position as the head.
- Stepford Smiler: His playful personality and calming smiles easily hides his true self.
Orlok
Orlok/Noah Silveri

A quiet young man who acts as an informant for several different groups. His exact origins are unknown.- Chastity Couple: Notably the only one of Liliana's love interests to not have sex with her in-game. Even by the end of the sequel, their relationship is still chaste.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: By the end of his route in Fated Memories, he and Lili joins the central church and is seen happily attending to the orphans that live there.
- My God, What Have I Done?: He begins to question his role as a disciple when he realizes that he was being used by the church and regrets what he’s done for the church.
- Naive But Skilled: He’s a skilled assassin and informant but incredibly gullible.
- Nice Guy: Despite him being an assassin, he is nothing but courteous and polite to those he meets.
- Older Than They Look: His noticeably short height and round eyes betray the fact that he’s 18.
- Religious Bruiser: Orlok is both a skilled fighter and the most religious of Liliana's love interests.
Yang

The cold and fickle head of the Lao Shu, a subgroup of a larger criminal organization. Little else is known about him aside from the fact that he enjoys making people squirm.- Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: He’s quick to dismiss anyone should they fail to entertain him, of course when someone surpasses his expectations he gets very excited.
- Character Development: It is a stretch to say he completely changes himself but as he spends time with Lili he’s willing to bow low for her and it is noticeable especially in 1926.
- Evil Sounds Deep: The most morally dubious of Lili's potential love interests and has the lowest voice to accompany it.
- Facial Markings: He has several tattoos, some of which are on his face.
- The Gadfly: His enjoyment for misleading people rivals his bloodlust.
- The Hedonist: Has an insatiable blood-lust and most of the times, his reason for doing anything is entertain himself.
- Reformed, but Not Tamed: In the finale where despite aligning himself with the “good guys” everyone is still wary of his intentions.
- Son of a Whore: The sequel reveals that he was born to a prostitute.
- Tattooed Crook: Befitting his status as the leader of the Lao Shu, he is covered in tattoos on his upper body.
- The Triads and the Tongs: He is the leader of the Chinese mafia, Lao Shu.

Henri Lambert

- Single-Target Sexuality: For most of his life it seems he had lived only to succeed in his revenge for his sister Chloe and had no romantic inclinations toward anyone to the point that in his sequel route when it is revealed that he barely touched Lili in the time they lived together, all the other love interests had him Mistaken for Gay. Of course, it turns out that he believes Lili as being much too good for him and actually desires for her so much he repressed it.
- Walking Spoiler: It's rather hard to talk about him without revealing that he is the Diretorre of the casino and the previous key maiden’s younger brother.
