Pickle
Voiced by Jon Heder
The mild one. Looming tall among his peers, Pickle is a gentle, emotional fellow with a kind heart. While he's definitely more down-to-earth than his best friend, Pickle usually serves as the accomplice to Peanut's off-the-wall plans, being loyal to his best friend to a fault... most of the time, anyway.- Anthropomorphic Food: Yep. The reason he and Peanut have human parents is left unexplained, however.
- Catchphrase: He and Peanut share one, repeatedly shouting "bo! bo! bo!" while shooting finger guns.
- Fanboy: He and Peanut both love them some 90s Adventure Bear.
- Gentle Giant: He's big, lumbering, and easily the softest character on the show.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Peanut, though there have been more than a few hints at him wanting something more than that.
- Lovable Nerd: He is a walleyed nerd, but consistently is the sweetest of the bunch.
- Protectorate: He can be quite protective of Peanut, he often saves him from danger. In "Gory Agnus" he decided to break up with his girlfriend when she stole Peanut's headband and called him a loser.
Peanut
Voiced by Johnny Pemberton
The wild one. Taking the idea of the "free spirit" and cranking it to max volume, Peanut is a charismatic loon with an ambitious nature and a knack for getting himself into (and, somehow, out of) weird situations. Despite his brash exterior, he's about as dedicated to his best friend as it gets.- Anthropomorphic Food: Just like Pickle.
- Catchphrase: See above.
- Drives Like Crazy: The fact that he, Pickle and his van survive every time he takes the wheel is a miracle.
- Fanboy: Of 90's Adventure Bear and the Night Hog films.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Pickle.
- Large Ham: He tends to err toward being dramatic, once going so far as to literally faint with tears in his eyes after being spoiled on a movie he was looking forward to.
McSweats
Voiced by Dana Snyder
A "friend" of Pickle and Peanut's, for lack of a better word. Rich but uncool, McSweats possesses a variety of fancy things but has an unshakable sense of desperation about him. So weird the boys only kinda like him (which, if you ask him, is good enough).- Identical Stranger: Looks almost exactly like his ex-girlfriend Francine's dad, save for skin tone.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: P&P seem to hang out with him more out of pity than anything else.
- Manchild: He's implied to be around Pickle and Peanut's age (senior year of high school, roughly), but is significantly more immature than them and doesn't take rejection well at all, be it from friends or romantic partners.
- Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: He briefly dated the noticeably more attractive Francine for a week before she dumped him for his oddly similar-looking cousin.
Mr. Mjärt
Voiced by Matt Chapman
An immigrant from "The Old Country" and the owner of the Mjärt Mart supermarket where Pickle and Peanut work. Mjärt is an unusually charitable boss, occasionally going out of his way to support his employees' wild antics instead of putting a stop to them.- Benevolent Boss
- Cloud Cuckoolander: Often shown to kind of exist in his own little world.
- The Old Country: Born and raised in a land named as such, with it being the source of his vague accent and fondness for cabbage. Also where he contracted the curse that turned him into a monster every full moon.
- Lunacy: Every full moon he becomes a flesh-eating, monstrous version of himself thanks to a curse put upon him in the Old Country. He hired a team of specialists to keep his condition in check every time until the boys break the spell by stabbing his demon heart in 'Night Shift.'
- What the Hell Is That Accent?: He sounds vaguely Scandinavian, though what we've heard of the Old Country doesn't really correspond with any one nation in the area. (Considering that he's voiced by Matt Chapman, this is to be expected.)
Lazer
Voiced by Michael Croner
The show's resident rude dudebro type. Lazer prides himself on two things: his popularity and his money, and he won't let you forget about either for a hotsecond. Treats P&P and their buds like crap more often than not.- Jerk Jock: Rich, muscular, well-liked and rude.
Sneaky Patty
Voiced by Abbi Jacobson
A girl in a ski mask implied to be involved with some, ahem, not quite legal activities. Mysterious and aloof, she serves as an occasional source for stuff Peanut can't get on his own.- Blatant Burglar: Is it the ski mask? It's probably the ski mask.
