Player Characters
Akira Kurusu
- Transplant: The same Akira who survived round two of Fifteen Strangers.
Alastor
Angela "Mercy" Ziegler
Ann Takamaki
Ardyn Tenmyouji
- Chekhov M.I.A.: Church is this to him and the rest of the Knifeglaive, as he appeared an app cycle after they did.
- Transplant: The same Ardyn who survived round two and died in round five of Airlocked.
Arianna Wakasa of Caledonia
- The Baby of the Bunch: As in Airlocked, but it starts to bother her once she starts getting this treatment from people who didn't go through a Deadly Game with her.
- Happy Ending Override: She was finally reunited with Clarith, only to end up Trapped in Another World again...
- Princesses Prefer Pink: Her usual outfit is pink.
- Purple Is Powerful: A purple-haired princess who's well-liked and has a number of useful abilities.
- Speaks Fluent Animal: Still has her Animal Voice Choker from near the end of Airlocked.
- Status Buff: After being nerfed in Airlocked, she's back up to her full strength here.
- Technicolor Eyes: Purple irises and the typical white pupils of Etrian Odyssey Sovereigns.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Venison, and she gets appropriately excited about fighting deer in Amesta Forest.
- Transplant: The same Arianna who survived rounds two and five of Airlocked.
Astolfo
Aya Shameimaru
Carnivac
Coriander Bliss
- Sailor Earth: She's a fandom OC.
Futaba Sakura
Goro Akechi
- Transplant: The same Goro who died in round two of Fifteen Strangers.
Heart of Caledonia
- Oblivious to Love: He has to be flat-out told that people find him attractive and isn't sure he believes it. This happens multiple times.
- Transplant: The same Heart who survived round two and died in round five of Airlocked.
Ignis Scientia
Izunia Lucis Caelum
Jay "Talon" Kingston
Junpei Tenmyouji
- Transplant: The same Junpei who survived round two and died in round five of Airlocked.
Kamijou Touma
Kurama
- Transplant: The same Kurama who died in round two of Fifteen Strangers.
Letitia Genesister
Lin Bai
Madeline "Maddie" Curie
- Magical Girl Warrior: She tries to hide it even when her friends from home show up.
Mai Kawasumi
- Emotionless Girl: She's really trying to improve now, but this is still her default.
- Clap Your Hands If You Believe: Mai's will makes things real, from healing people because she's sad about them to making a plastic sword an effective weapon.
- The Force Is Strong with This One: She can tell what somebody is by looking at them and can easily observe if they're involved with the supernatural. It's unclear in canon whether this is part of her power or just honed by a lot of research and observation.
- Healing Hands: The first application for her powers and the one she still has reservations about using, though she did make herself offer to heal a friend in the end of her last game.
- Scars Are Forever: While her default outfit hides both, some of her other outfits show a scar from claws on her throat and impalement scars on her chest and back from the two times she's died.
- Transplant: The same Mai who died in round two of Airlocked. This is shown with her scars as well as the chip on the end of her sword (until Incendia, anyway).
- Wrecked Weapon: Her sword, already chipped in Airlocked, is ruined in Incendia when she lets her guard down and it reverts to plastic... which isn't great in a fire dungeon. After that sword melts, she borrows a real one and eventually gets a new fake one again.
Makoto Niijima
Marla Sanzashi
- Cordon Bleugh Chef: Can actually cook fairly well, when she doesn't feel like experimenting. Otherwise...
- Extreme Omnisexual: Once said in a game of Cards Against Humanity that she'd have sex with a planet-devouring sand worm. And a ferris wheel.
- Glass Cannon: Despite all of the powers she's gained as a result of her gem transformation and her Pokemon, still can't undo the effects of her genetic bone disease.
- Half-Human Hybrids: Artificially made. While both of her parents were regular humans, the events of Cosmographia saw her transmuted into a human-gem sort of hybrid, although leaning more on the "gem" end.
- Lady Swears-a-Lot: Probably deserves to have a bar of soap stuck in her mouth for all eternity.
- The Nicknamer: Tends to do this to just about everyone. Notable nicknames include "Yoshi" for Shido, "Fluffernutter" for Akechi, and "Daddy"/"Big Daddy" for Ardyn.
- Overly Long Name: Has introduced herself as Marla Celestia Fucknugget Astrophyllite Sanzashi.
- Embarrassing Middle Name: Celestia.
- Sailor Earth: She's a fandom OC.
- The Stoner: Doesn't exactly make her use of weed a secret, and is usually one of the more laid-back characters.
- Erudite Stoner: Downplayed. She's not deeply philosophical or profound, but she does often find herself taking the role of voice of reason sometimes, such as chastising Shido for never bothering to use a condom.
- Transplant: Was previously at Cosmographia.
Masayoshi Shido
- The Atoner: Since he arrived after his change of heart, he's been trying to make up for his various misdeeds. Results have been sort of a mixed bag.
Morgana
Nanami Chiaki
Nathaniel Berger
- Sailor Earth: He's a fandom OC.
Noctis Lucis Caelum
Pidonus Marasia
Princess Konawa Talimo of Miari
- Action Girl
- Foreign Queasine: Has eaten or mentioned eating things such as durian and various bugs that wouldn't warrant a second glance in her home country, but have been a cause for concern to at least some of the other characters at the Station.
- Lady Land: Hails from one of these.
- Our Nudity Is Different: Comes from a culture where both men and women are expected to keep their butts and genitals covered, but can go around shirtless without anyone batting an eye, other than it being considered too casual for certain situations. This causes some awkwardness around other characters.
- Power Nullifier: How her ability works. Since it's triggered by eye contact, it doesn't exactly work on blind or eyeless enemies.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Fresh fruit; seems especially fond of durians.
- Warrior Princess: Since she's from a matriarchal culture where noblewomen are expected to have at least some combat prowess, and happens to have a fair amount for someone her age, she fits the bill rather perfectly.
