SpongeBob SquarePants

    SpongeBob SquarePants
Voiced by: Tom Kenny
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • All-Loving Hero: Typical for SpongeBob. Cares about his friends, brings an optimistic attitude even in the face of crisis, and in the end it's his wholesomeness that causes Globulus Maximus to reform.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Just like his ventures in his own series, he has a habit of incorporating bubbles into his arsenal.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • In Nicktoons Unite!, one of his abilities is throwing a recreation of DoodleBob from "Frankendoodle" to distract enemies. Another has him blowing a bubble bomb that explodes after a few seconds, as he did in "Dying for Pie".
    • In Attack of the Toybots and Globs of Doom, SpongeBob navigates slides on his tongue like in his own video games as well as the episode "Pre-Hibernation Week".
    • His dash attack in Globs of Doom DS is a charge butt-first with his pants ripped.
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: From Toybots onward, he's no longer treated on equal ground with the other characters (or at least a character) and has more story involvement than them as well. Not to mention that in every game he's available from the beginning and is one of the first, if not THE first, characters you can play as. Exaggerated come Globs of Doom where he has much more screen time and plot relevancy than every other character combined. The game's full title is even SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom.

    Patrick Star
Voiced by: Bill Fagerbakke
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Ascended Extra: From a comparatively minor Distressed Dude in Unite to a fully-playable, plot-relevant character in both Volcano Island and Toybots.
  • Close-Range Combatant: The only playable character in Volcano Island not to have a ranged attack — he instead performs a spinning cartwheel.
  • Demoted to Extra: In Globs of Doom, he is relegated to a non-playable NPC who primarily exists for comic relief.
  • Distressed Dude: In Unite, Toybots and Globs of Doom, he gets captured by enemies and has to be rescued.
  • Promoted to Playable: He goes from an NPC in Unite to a fully playable character in Volcano Island and Toybots.

    Sheldon J. Plankton
Voiced by: Doug Lawrence
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots (cameo), SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • The Cameo: Plankton makes fleeting appearances in both the console and DS versions of Toybots:
    • In the first cutscene in the console versions, Plankton briefly appears alongside the Mawgu during the "The Biggest Genius" show.
    • He appears in the very last cutscene in Attack of the Toybots DS where Professor Calamitous is thrown into the same jail cell as he is. He asks what Calamitous got put in jail for from the inside of a fishbowl.
  • Close-Range Combatant: In Globs of Doom, he's one of only two characters (the other being Danny) to lack a projectile attack. His special attack instead has him slam his hammer into the ground, crushing the closest Morphoid and knocking other Morphoids back.
  • Dragon Ascendant: Implied in Globs of Doom, as he's presumed The Leader of the new Evil Syndicate while Professor Calamitous is completely absent.
  • Evil Genius: Plays this role in the syndicate, providing them with robot minions and using piloted robots in his boss fights in Nicktoons Unite!: A robot crab in the console versions and a robot jellyfish in the DS version.
  • Giant Enemy Crab: Pilots one in the console versions of Nicktoons Unite!.
  • The Leader: Implied to be the leader of the second Evil Syndicate in Globs of Doom since he's the only returning member from Unite.
  • Promoted to Playable: After being a non-playable boss in Unite, Plankton becomes fully playable during certain stages in Globs of Doom.
  • Support Party Member: In the final boss battle of Unite!, instead of directly attacking the characters like his fellow syndicate members, he can summon his robot minions.
  • Your Size May Vary:
    • In the GBA version of Nicktoons Unite! his boss battle revolves around growing to a large size and trying to squish the heroes.
    • Invoked in Globs of Doom. As part of the upgrade the Mawgu scanner gives him, he grows big enough to not be squished in a single step by everyone else. He's still around the height of the shortest characters, however. Played straighter in later cutscenes where his size is less consistent.

    Sandy Cheeks
Voiced by: Carolyn Lawrence
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island

  • Bash Siblings: With SpongeBob. They team up to smash a crystal wall to pieces. They also both use karate as their fighting style.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Is completely absent in both Attack of the Toybots (except in the GBA version) and Globs of Doom with no explanation.

    Squidward Tentacles
Voiced by: Rodger Bumpass
Appeared in: Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Demoted to Extra: Goes from being a useful ally in Battle for Volcano Island to being possessed by the Morphoids in the opening cutscene of Globs of Doom.
  • Distressed Dude: In both Volcano Island and Globs of Doom, he has to be rescued. In Volcano Island, he's buried in sand until the heroes pull him out, and in Globs of Doom he's enslaved by the Morphoids and is later trapped in Morphoid goo.

    Gary
Voiced by: Tom Kenny
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • The Cameo: His appearances in both games featuring him are very brief.
  • Distressed Dude: In Globs of Doom, he gets trapped in Morphoid goo and has to be freed.

    Eugene Krabs
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

  • The Voiceless: One of many side characters with no voiced lines in any games.

Danny Phantom

    Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom
Voiced by: David Kaufman
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Adaptational Badass: He has his Ghostly Wail as a super move, but is able to use it without wearing himself out. It uses a lot of energy, though.
  • Close-Range Combatant: In Globs of Doom, he's one of only two characters (the other being Plankton) who lacks a projectile. He instead summons a clone of himself to fight alongside him and draw enemy attacks away. This is rather ironic since he can shoot ectoplasmic energy blast in his own series.
  • Intangibility: Danny can turn transparent, allowing him to avoid enemy attacks, go through specific objects and briefly glide through the air.
  • Super-Scream: In Unite, he can use his Ghostly Wail to shatter glass and attack enemies.

    Sam Manson
Voiced by: Grey DeLisle
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

  • Action Girl: She can fight enemies just as well as the boys in Volcano Island and Toybots.
  • Badass Normal: In both Volcano Island and Toybots, she's the only playable member of the group without any special abilities or super powers, but she can hold her own with her kicks and the Fenton Ghost Peeler suit.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Despite being a prominent character in the previous two games, Sam is absent from Globs of Doom with no explanation.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: She wears all-black (to the point of being called "Night Girl" in Volcano Island), but is just as much a hero as any of the other Nicktoons.
  • Kick Chick: Sam's melee attacks consist entirely of kicks.
  • Nerf: In Toybots, she can't use the Fenton Ghost Peeler suit anymore and now plays just like everyone else.
  • Promoted to Playable: After being an NPC in Unite, she's fully playable in Volcano Island and Toybots.
  • Super Mode: Finding a battery for her in Volcano Island allows her to don the Fenton Ghost Peeler suit, granting her unlimited projectiles and invincibility for a short time.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: In Attack of the Toybots, She is a tomboy to Jenny's girly girl.

    Tucker Foley
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Distressed Dude: Globs of Doom has him among the secondary Nicktoons characters who need to be rescued after becoming trapped in Morphoid goo.

    Vlad Plasmius
Voiced by: Martin Mull
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots (mentioned in DS version only), SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom (DS version only)

  • Boss-Arena Idiocy: He leaves Jack Fenton (with the Ghost Gloves), the only person who can break his shield, wandering around the area, wide open for Danny to overshadow.
  • The Brute: Fills this role in the Syndicate. He's easily the most physically and supernaturally powerful of all of them and is the only one to ever fight the heroes head-on. None of them can even hurt him on their own initially.
  • Demoted to Extra: In the first game, he was part of the Big Bad Duumvirate and had plenty of dialogue and screentime. In the DS version of Globs of Doom, he appears as a random boss who's been taken over by the Morphoids, has no dialogue and is forgotten about after his defeat.
  • The Ghost: The ending cutscene of the DS version of Attack of the Toybots mentions him and Mr. Crocker as contestants on the next episode of The Biggest Genius, but he does not physically appear.
  • Self-Duplication: He creates copies of himself during his boss fights in the Game Boy Advance and DS versions of the first game and the DS version of Globs of Doom.

    Nicolai Technus
Voiced by: Rob Paulsen
Appeared in: SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Crutch Character: In Globs of Doom DS, he'll do most of the fighting, including being the most efficient at taking out the boss, in the Bikini Bottom levels due to having a Homing Projectile and his partner - SpongeBob - being next to useless in combat.
  • Shock and Awe: As a technology-based ghost, all of his attacks have an electricity theme.

    Dash Baxter
Voiced by: S. Scott Bullock
Appeared in: SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Distressed Dude: Yet another NPC trapped in Morphoid goo who needs to be rescued.

The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius

    Jimmy Neutron
Voiced by: Debi Derryberry
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Most of Jimmy's usual flaws such as arrogance and childishness are noticeably absent from his depictions in the series, opting more to portray him as a straight-laced smart kid.
  • Badass Normal: Compared to SpongeBob's shapeshifting, Danny's ghost powers and Timmy's magic, Jimmy has no real powers beyond his intellect. Despite this, he manages to keep up though extensive use of his gadgets.
  • Blow You Away: In Unite, he fights using his tornado gun, which shoots gusts of wind and can be upgraded to fire miniature tornados.
  • Dash Attack: His Quarterback Gear attack has him put on a football helmet and dash forward.
  • Demoted to Extra: After being one of the main playable characters in the first game, Battle For Volcano Island reduces his role to that of a Voice with an Internet Connection. He returns to being playable in both Toybots and Globs of Doom.
  • The Leader: Is the de-facto leader of the Nicktoons heroes in Unite.
  • Long-Range Fighter: In Unite, he fights almost entirely with projectiles between his tornado gun and flare. He doesn't get a proper melee attack (Quarterback Gear) until Crocker's Fortress, and even then it uses energy and can't be spammed.
  • Voice with an Internet Connection: He's relegated to this role in Battle For Volcano Island.

    Professor Finbarr Calamitous
Voiced by: Tim Curry
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

  • Adaptational Badass: Thanks to Power Creep, Power Seep, Calamitous is a much greater threat than he ever was in his home series, first posing a threat to multiple universes with the help of the Syndicate (of which he was the leader) in Nicktoons Unite! and later putting nearly every Nicktoon universe in peril all on his own in Attack of the Toybots.
  • Big Bad: He is the main antagonist of Unite (where he tries to conquer the multiverse by assembling a doomsday device with the assistance of three other Nickelodeon villains) and especially Toybots (where he creates an army of robotic duplicates of the heroes of just about every Nicktoon that existed at the time).
  • Final Boss: He is the final opponent faced in the first game (albeit with Vlad Plasmius, Crocker and Plankton assisting him in the Game Boy Advance and console versions) and in the handheld versions of Attack of the Toybots (the console version doesn't have any bosses).
  • The Leader: Appropriately one for the Syndicate of Evil, considering he's the one who summoned the other villains.
  • The Unfought: Despite being the Big Bad, in the console version of Toybots, he doesn't get a boss fight and is defeated in the ending cutscene.

    Beautiful Gorgeous
Voiced by: Wendie Malick
Appeared in: SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Improbable Weapon User: Uses a megaphone to attack in the console versions of Globs of Doom, elegantly bashing enemies with it most of the time. She even lampshades it in the opening.
Beautiful Gorgeous: "What do I look like, a cheerleader?"
  • The Smurfette Principle: The only female playable character in Globs of Doom.

    Cindy Vortex
Voiced by: Carolyn Lawrence
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Damsel in Distress: In Globs of Doom, she gets kidnapped by the Girl-Eating Plant and is later trapped in Morphoid goo.
  • Demoted to Extra: She appears with some dialogue in the first game, but in Globs of Doom only appears being attacked by Jimmy's Girl-Eating Plant after it has been taken control of by Morphoid goo.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: In Unite, Cindy used her movie design with a pink shirt and pigtails. In Globs of Doom, she instead uses her show design with a green tank-top and ponytail.

    Sheen Estevez
Voiced by: Jeff Garcia
Appeared in: SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Distressed Dude: His only role in the game amounts to being one of the non-player characters the heroes have to rescue due to being trapped in Morphoid goo.

    Carl Wheezer
Voiced by: Rob Paulsen
Appeared in: SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Distressed Dude: He's an NPC trapped in Morphoid goo that the heroes have to rescue.

The Fairly Oddparents

    Timmy Turner
Voiced by: Tara Strong
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

  • An Ice Person: In Unite, Timmy obtains the Freezer Glove, which he can use to freeze enemies/fragile objects to shatter in one shot and water to create platforms.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Is completely absent in Globs of Doom without even a mention.
  • Demoted to Extra: In Volcano Island, he's only playable in one level and has little involvement with the main plot.
  • The Medic: His final ability in the console versions of Unite is Remedy, which allows him to heal himself and his teammates at the cost of his energy.
  • Story-Breaker Power: As always, Timmy has two near-omnipotent fairies at his beck and call. To stop him from just wishing all the games' problems away, each game has its own solution:
    • Unite makes it so Cosmo and Wanda can't grant wishes that would affect other worlds (preventing Timmy from wishing for the Evil Syndicate's defeat), and even Dimmsdale becomes impossible when Crocker starts draining magic out of Fairy World.
    • Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda are Demoted to Extra in Volcano Island, only being rescued about halfway through the game and being playable in one level. It's also implied the same "other worlds" rule from Unite is still in play, as Timmy doesn't attempt to wish the Mawgu away.
    • As per Professor Calamitous' plan in Toybots, Cosmo and Wanda are too full from Krabby Patties (and suffering a nasty case of fairy gas) to do anything more than teleport Timmy and his friends out of danger.
    • Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda are absent altogether in Globs of Doom, ensuring they can't just wish Globulous Maximus away.
  • Super-Strength: In Unite, Timmy can become Cleft the Boy Chin Wonder, granting him increased damage and allowing him to both pick up heavy objects and turn valves.

    Cosmo
Voiced by: Daran Norris
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

    Wanda
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

    Denzel Q. Crocker
Voiced by: Carlos Alazraqui
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots (mentioned in DS version only)

  • Boss-Arena Idiocy: His boss fight in the DS version of the first game involves luring him under thunderclouds so he gets electrocuted by lightning.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Hardly has so much as a mention after the first game.
  • The Ghost: He and Vlad Plasmius are mentioned as being contestants on the next episode of The Biggest Genius in the ending cutscene of the DS version of Attack of the Toybots, but neither of them make a physical appearance.

    Jorgen von Strangle
Voiced by: Daran Norris
Appeared in: Nicktoons Unite!, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

My Life as a Teenage Robot

    Jenny Wakeman/XJ 9
Voiced by: Janice Kawaye
Appeared in: Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

  • Adaptational Wimp: As a playable character in Toybots, she lacks most of her weaponry, with the only abilities that see use in-game being her spiky fists and (as her Limit Break in the DS version) flight. It's implied being abducted by Calamitous left her operating at less than full power.
Jenny: I might not have full power but I don't need full power to deal with Calamitous!
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: In Attack of the Toybots, She is a girly girl to Sam's tomboy.

Invader Zim

    Zim
Appeared in: Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots (DS version only), SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

    Dib Membrane
Voiced by: Andy Berman
Appeared in: Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots (GBA version only), SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

  • Early-Bird Cameo: Appears as a master model in Attack of the Toybots GBA before his formal appearance as a playable character in Globs of Doom.
  • Improbable Weapon User: He's armed with a balloon launcher in Globs of Doom.
  • Shock and Awe: Attacks with what appear to be battery cables in Globs of Doom DS, sending out electric shocks and entire balls of electricity.
  • Token Good Teammate: In an inverse of Zim, he aligns with the villains in Globs of Doom despite being a well-intentioned self-proclaimed protector of Earth due to his role as a Hero Antagonist in his own series. His reasoning being either that he has to join the side Zim isn't on (console), or that the teams would be uneven otherwise (DS).

    GIR
Voiced by: Rosearik Rikki Simons
Appeared in: Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Beam Spam: In the console versions of Toybots, he attacks enemies by firing lasers out of his head.
  • Demonic Possession: He gets possessed by the Morphoids and steals a taco needed to power the Vessel of Portentia, forcing the heroes to go after him.
  • Demoted to Extra: In the console and DS versions of Attack of the Toybots, GIR is a fully-playable character. In Globs of Doom, he's a non-playable boss character.
  • Distressed Dude: He gets enslaved by the Morphoids and has to be rescued.

Original Characters

    Wise Old Crab
Voiced by: Bill Farmer (Volcano Island), Dee Bradley Baker (Globs of Doom)
Appeared in: Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Big Good: In both Volcano Island and Globs of Doom, he's the one who gathered all the heroes to fight the Big Bad and save their worlds.
  • Given Name Reveal: When the Queen of the Myrmec Tribe learns that the chosen ones of the prophecy are real, she comments that she should have believed the Wise Old Crab all along, revealing his name to be Shelley as she does so.
  • Took a Level in Dumbass: In Volcano Island, he was a wise mentor figure to the heroes. In Globs of Doom, he's a Cloudcuckoolander who appears to have gone senile in his old age.

    The Mawgu
Voiced by: Fred Tatasciore
Appeared in: Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots (cameo in console version)

  • Big Bad: Of Volcano Island; he wants to escape his prison and take over each of the heroes' universes.
  • Crossover-Exclusive Villain: Despite menacing SpongeBob, Danny, Timmy and Jimmy, he doesn't hail from any of their shows and was created for Volcano Island.
  • Demoted to Extra: Initially the Big Bad of Volcano Island, he only briefly appears in the opening cutscene of Toybots.
  • Final Boss: He is the final opponent faced in Battle for Volcano Island, though the fight against him in the Game Boy Advance version (which is otherwise devoid of bosses) has you racing to the end of the level while dodging his attacks and the stage's obstacles rather than directly fighting him.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: He's an ancient evil who was imprisoned in the volcano of Volcano Island before breaking free. Our heroes ultimately stop him by sealing him in the fabric between dimensions with the Rip-Zipper.
  • We Will Meet Again: Vows to return after being sealed back in his rip, though his only other appearance in the series is a cameo in Toybots.

    The ChadBot
Voiced by: Jim Ward
Appeared in: Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots

    Globulous Maximus
Appeared in: SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom

  • Big Bad: Of Globs of Doom. He's the one who's attacking the Nicktoons' worlds with goo and taking over their inhabitants.
  • Crossover-Exclusive Villain: Like the Mawgu before him, Globulous Maximus does not originate from any of the Nicktoons represented in Globs of Doom and was created exclusively for the game.
  • Cyclops: After turning into SpongeGlob, he has just one big eye. In his original form, he had other eyes around his body.
  • Disc-One Final Boss: The console version has him built up as the central threat throughout most of the game, but after his defeat, he becomes good and the real final battle is against the Evil Syndicate piloting the Vessel of Portentia.
  • Eyes Do Not Belong There: He's a gigantic blob with eyes all over his body.
  • Final Boss: Only in the DS version, where the game's story ends right after he is defeated and has his reformation occur without having to fight the villains when they abruptly decide to betray the heroes now that Globulus has been taken down.
  • Freudian Excuse: After being born from what amounted to the universe sneezing, Globulous hated himself for being what amounts to a giant glob of snot and wanted to make everyone else feel as disgusting as he did.
  • Heel–Face Turn: At SpongeBob's urgings, Globulous gives up his evil ways and wanders the universe to make up for his mistakes.
  • Meaningful Rename: After SpongeBob convinces him to be good, Globulus Maximus changes himself to look like a cyclops version of SpongeBob and renames himself SpongeGlob.
  • Punny Name: His name is very similar to "gluteus maximus", the scientific name for the buttocks.
