The main protagonist. Juugo is a teenage boy who was forced to transfer to the high school in Nanaejima Island due to being exiled and disowned by his father. He ends up living at the apartment room of the ghost girl Nanana and he quickly takes an interest in her, deciding to learn more about her and the cause of her death by searching for her Nanana's Collection.

  • Has a Type: He is attracted to Meido and bespectacled girls. Less scrupulous characters often turn this against him.
  • Unreliable Narrator: Many scenes narrated from his POV should be taken with a grain of salt as he's actually holding back information and straight up lying about several things.
  • White Sheep: His father is the leader of Matsuri, an ancient "noble" thief organization that claims to only steal from the wicked, but was banished to Nanae Island when he refused to take the position of heir due to a difference in ideals.

  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: His appearance changes according to what makes his current master feel most at ease with.
