Neil Mccormick

One of the film's two troubled protagonists. Openly gay prostitute who can't forget his childhood.
- Announcer Chatter: Has a job as an announcer at a local baseball stadium.
- Break the Cutie: Once his career as a hooker starts heading into dangerous territory.
- Broken Ace: He's very charismatic, has strikingly good looks and is quite cunning, but inside he has issues.
- Deadpan Snarker: Has a number of such moments.
- Straight Gay: Isn't particularly camp and has 'macho' interests such as baseball.
- The Quiet One: Not overly talkative, despite being very extroverted.
- The Twink
Brian Lackey
Played by: Brady Corbet (teen/adult) and George Webster (child)
The other troubled protagonist, with more fuzzy memories of his childhood.
- Break the Cutie: As his memories from the summer with the coach come flooding back, he breaks down in uncontrolled tears.
- Endearingly Dorky: Eric seems to take a liking to him for this reason, as well as for his connection to Neil.
- Meaningful Name: His last name is somewhat indicative of his personality.
- Socially Awkward Hero: Is quite eccentric and somewhat awkward when meeting new people.
- Speech Impediment: He has a quite obvious stutter, particular when nervous.
Eric Preston
Played by: Jeff Licon
A friend of Neil who later also becomes a friend of Brian.
- Camp Gay: Has more stereotypically gay traits than Neil.
- Nice Guy: Probably the nicest character in the film.
- Speech Impediment: He has a sterotypical lisp.
