MORLEY GROVE SPECTERS!!!! idk who uploaded this but this kid is a morley grove specter. Look up MORLEY MISSING

The YouTuber who uploads the initial video dealing with the Morley Grove Spectres.

  • Decoy Protagonist: Though Jordan uploads the video which kickstarts the series, both he and his YouTube channel are absent from later installments, and their latest appearance implies that they aren't even the creator of the videos which make up the series.
  • Kid Detective: Jordan is clearly a young child, considering the syntax they use in their comments and video titles, yet despite their young age they manage to collect a decent amount of decades-old material attesting to the Morley Spectres.

I knew a guy who said he saw it take one of the kids. He told me it must have been at least 20 feet tall. He said that when it looked at him, it stole a part of his soul.

An almost folkloric figure in the town of Morley Grove, the "Morley Man" is a tall humanoid creature blamed for the disappearances of children in the town.

  • Big Bad: He is the force behind the disappearance of the children of Morley Grove, and assumedly the subsequent "spectres" as well.
  • Creepily Long Arms: His incredibly brief appearance in Birthday 2005 feature him with arms spanning the entire length of his body.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: Thus far, the Morley Man has only appeared in extremely quick blips in the videos – as soon as he appears, they cut to something else.
  • Humanoid Abomination: His brief appearances show him to be a lanky figure with a blank face who looks somewhat human despite being anything but that.
  • Implacable Man: As one mother unfortunately found out, not much will, or even can, stand between the Morley Man and his victim.
  • Invincible Boogeymen: Apparently, all it takes is a simple look at the Morley Man for a person to be "taken" by it. It is also seemingly instantaneous.
  • Noodle People: The Morley Man is quite a lanky fellow.
  • When Trees Attack: The Morley Man's preferred habitat seems to be in the wooded areas of Morley Grove.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Seems to speak for itself, given his entire MO of kidnapping children and turning them into horrifying spirits.

Last seen 1969
My elementary school friend Pammy became a specter. I was staying with my Aunt a half hour away, so I wasn't at Morley Grove. My mom was though. She saw the Morley Man.
~ T. Burke

The Morley Grove Spectres are the apparent spirits of a slew of children from Morley Grove who were abducted by the Morley Man in 1969.

  • Body Horror: Needless to say, the bodies of the children who disappeared were never found... but if the Spectres current appearance reflects the state that the children were left in, the implications are horrific.
  • Ghastly Ghost: And how. The faces of the Spectres are distorted beyond belief, and these horrific appearances aren't just limited to their hauntings – all videos and photographs of the children display these disfigurements as well.
  • Hell Is That Noise: The Spectres' presence is associated with a shrieking noise sounding like the garbled screams and cries of young children.
  • Leitmotif: The song "You Are My Sunshine" is featured whenever the spectre of a child named Dustin Ford appears.
  • Spooky Photographs: All photographs of Spectres show them to possess bizarre deformities.
  • Unperson: This seems to be Dustin Ford's fate. All traces of him are gone, to the point of being forcibly removed from his own birthday photos. His picture won't even load in the website of missing children.
