The CutMan Brothers

The brothers of the original CutMan.EXE, who enter the series seeking Revenge for their brother.

  • Alternate Self: In RockMan.EXE Beast, counterparts of not CutMan but the CutMan Brothers are found in Beyondard.
  • Blatant Lies: The CutMan Brothers are first motivated to seek Revenge by their grandfather, who spins a dramatic yarn about the honorable original CutMan being slain by the evil rogue MegaMan. This is, of course, completely false.
  • Dying to Be Replaced: In MegaMan NT Warrior, CutMan is dispatched without mercy in the same episode he appears, in only a few minutes. He is replaced, however, with a squad of his brethren, the CutMan Brothers, who are overflowing with energy and personality.
  • Laughably Evil: Despite their grudge against MegaMan, they are pathetic, incompetent, and their schemes often backfire on them, with their only successful schemes being sabotaging Lan's appliances so he'd show up late to a planned event with his friends and they would chew him out for being late.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Two of the brothers are this, the Red Oni (and leader) marked by his Big Ol' Eyebrows, and the Blue Oni marked by his nice hair.
  • "Super Sentai" Stance: They sometimes bust one out.
  • Three Plus Two: A Red Oni, Blue Oni pair plus a Big, Thin, Short Trio.

    Slur.EXE

Slur.EXE

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/slur.jpg

Voiced by: Akeno Watanabe (JP)

An anime-only character, Slur is a servant of Duo, although she has a few agendas of her own regarding humankind.
  • Ambiguous Gender: While fansubs use female pronouns for the character, Slur's appearance and voice are androgynous, and there's no concrete reference to "her" gender in the Japanese version, or English official materials for that matter. It's possible that Slur was intended to be a genderless being like Serenade.
  • Asshole Victim: After causing so much trouble for the heroes throughout Stream and actively trying to convince Duo that Earth should be destroyed, nobody is fazed when Bass runs his arm through her torso.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Every time somebody tries to fight her ends with her effortlessly beating her opponents to near death. However, she is on the receiving end of one after Bass uses Nebula Grey's powers against her.
  • The Dragon: Acts as Duo's herald during Stream.
  • Family-Unfriendly Death: Bass impales her from behind with his own bare hand, then crushes her head while said arm is still lodged in her chest.
  • Humans Are Bastards: And so, she thinks it is her duty to destroy them.
  • Invincible Villain: She never loses, ever. At least until she's finally killed by Bass.
  • Karma Houdini Warranty: After having spent pretty much the entire series being immune to pretty much everything and not being punished for trying to rig Duo's judgement of Earth, Bass returns stronger than ever to brutally destroy her in Stream's final episode.'
  • Knight Templar: A particularly evil one.
  • Light Is Not Good: Most of her attacks are light-based, but don't expect anything good from her.
  • Nigh-Invulnerable: Prior to Bass killing her, she appeared indestructible, surviving three Program Advances fired at her simultaneously.
  • No-Sell: To EVERYTHING. Even getting hit with three Program Advances at once didn't phase her.
  • Not So Invincible After All: After being featured prominently easily defeating anybody who tried to fight her Stream's finale has Bass taking sweet revenge on her for an earlier defeat.
  • Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: Despite claiming to defend the universe, her selfish motivations boil down to culling anything and everything she deems inferior.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Slur has red pupils and is one of the most destructive and vicious Navis in the anime.
  • Shock and Awe: Some of her attacks are electricity-based.
  • The Sociopath: As bad as Duo was, she's even worse, having some standards he has regarding fair play when judging a planet, she has none and if she had her way she’d destroy the Earth herself.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: To Serenade, who never appears in anime. Like Serenade, Slur is an androgynous, light-themed NetNavi of immense power who kicks Bass' ass in their first encounter. Though unlike Serenade, Slur is pure evil.
  • Treacherous Advisor: She is unconditionally loyal to Duo, but she's actively trying to sway him into deciding that humans are not worthy to live.

Mameo

  • Green Thumb: Is given Asteroid PlantMan by Slur.
  • Irony: Went from hating vegetables to happily eating them.
  • Karma Houdini: One of the few Asteroid Navi operators not to get in trouble. Justified since he's a kid and PlantMan's fault for taking things too far. Granted, given how Chaud was restraining Lan, its possible he was planning on getting physical.
  • Picky Eater: Hates vegetables.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: He only wanted to avoid eating vegetables himself, not to stop others from eating them much less causing a food shortage.
  • Tagalong Kid: The only person given an Asteroid Navi that isn't an adult.

     Yui Hazuki

Yui Hazuki

  • Fat and Skinny: Mac is skinny and Harry is fat.
  • Gravity Master: Given Asteroid GravityMan by Slur.

  • Too Dumb to Live: Lan asks why they didn't simply use GravityMan to destroy their old computer rather than making Manuela die from exhaustion. Not to mention the only reason they were caught was because they decided to sneak aboard the submarine Manuela was on to better control the situation.

  • Too Dumb to Live: Used BombMan to attack the bank he worked at and attacked other banks to make it more difficult to get caught, but got nervous and developed physical health problems and had to be hospitalized. As Lan notes, it wasn't very smart of him.

Rockman.EXE Beast

    Trill.EXE

Trill.EXE

Voiced by: Noriko Shitaya (JP)

This young and childish Navi only appears in the anime. Trill is known as the Synchronizer, and has taken an immense liking to Mega Man for protecting him and Iris against the worshipers of Falzar and Gregar. Eventually Trill allows Mega Man to gain the ability to Beast-Out, thus gaining the powers of either of the two beasts, but Mega Man loses control and attacks anything in sight if Iris is not there as well.

  • Badass Adorable: He has the ability to turn Mega Man into his beast forms from Battle Network 6 and collects Beastized viruses like toys.

  • Chekhov's Gunman: Trill's data breaks apart at the end of Beast, forcing Rockman to absorb his data in order to become the new Synchronizer. Come the Beast+ finale, Netto and Rockman get absorbed by Cache. Cue Trill's data manifesting, freeing the two and allowing them to break free so they can fight back.
