    Damian Drake Jr. ("DJ")

Played by: Brendan Fraser

A young man who works as a Warner Bros. security guard. He escorted a recently-fired Daffy off the premises, after which the bratty duck followed him home. He is also the son of super-spy Damian Drake, whose cryptic request to find the "Blue Monkey" diamond kickstarts the plot.

  • Anti-Nepotism: Inverted. He's determined to obtain his dream job as a stuntman with effort, not his father's name.
  • Celebrity Paradox: He's played by Brendan Fraser and is Fraser's stuntman in-universe.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Regardless of his lack of success, he is quite physically capable, knocking out several 'toons in Vegas long enough to escape and using the environment against them.
  • Failed Attempt at Drama: Upon finding the Blue Monkey, he gazes at it and says emotionally, "Dad...this is for you". Then it shoots a ray at him that turns him into a monkey.
  • I Never Told You My Name: He asks how Mother knows his name when they've never met before; she brushes it off by saying they met when he was very young.
  • You Said You Would Let Them Go: He reluctantly trades the Blue Monkey for his father's freedom. Mr. Chairman being the jackass he is, it doesn't work out.

    Daffy Duck

Voiced by: Joe Alaskey

A egoistical 'toon who's starred in Looney Tunes productions for years- usually as a stooge to make Bugs look better. He was fired after a particularly ill-timed outburst in the studio boardroom, and promptly invited himself along on Damian's quest to find the Blue Monkey.

  • Big Damn Heroes: It's ultimately Daffy who saves the day as Duck Dodgers, thwarting both Marvin Martian and the Chairman and saving Bugs afterwards. If nothing else, this movie gave Daffy one of his few genuine wins.
  • Composite Character: He has elements of both his screwball and jerk incarnations.
  • Entitled Bastard: Within minutes of breaking into Damian's house, he's breaking trophies and eating goldfish.
  • Iron Butt-Monkey: Like all 'toons, damage means almost nothing to him and is never permanent. This is why Damian is unable to throw Daffy out of his house- the 'toon just squeezes back in through a gap.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: It may not be real, but decades of being shot/blasted/beaten up for the amusement of others is bound to take a toll. And- as the Warner Bros. quickly realize- Daffy is invaluable to the studio, and his work does deserve recognition.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: He gave the studio an ultimatum: him, or Bugs. He wasn't prepared to actually go through with it, not that the people firing him cared.

    Kate Houghton

Played by: Jenna Elfman

An brusque businesswoman who is, ironically, Warner Bros' Vice-President of Comedy. She was tasked with rehiring Daffy, a task which she soon learns will be much more difficult- and dangerous- than she thought.

  • Defrosting Ice Queen: She's not cruel, she just doesn't care much for people (this is visually lampshaded early in the film: a handshake from her leaves Daffy's hand coated in ice). The quest forces her to bond with people outside of work, after which she becomes more appreciative of their abilities.
  • Fish out of Water: She in particular hates being stranded in the desert, without the luxuries or subordinates she's accustomed to.
  • Hoist by Her Own Petard: She fires Daffy, which ultimately gets her fired, after her attempt at making a Duck Season, Rabbit Season cartoon without him falls flat on its face.
  • Took a Level in Badass: As the plot goes on, her comfort zone grows. In the penultimate jungle scenes, she's almost enthusiastic about hardships that would've made her earlier self throw a fit.

    Bugs Bunny

Voiced by: Joe Alaskey

A 'toon who enjoys the lap of luxury as one of Warner Bros' most popular creations. Despite this, he is upset when Daffy is fired, and follows Kate on the quest so that he can convince him to come back. Also because he thinks it's funny.

  • The Gadfly: He does what gets laughs, on-screen or off. Occasionally he pushes his coworkers too far, but it's out of ignorance, not spite.
  • Innocently Insensitive: He rejects all Kate's suggestions on how to modernize him. Understandably so- he does have more experience of what makes people laugh- but he doesn't even try to understand that her job is more fragile than his, and could very well hinge on getting him to cooperate.
    • Similarly, he has difficulty understanding that Daffy's work has been much more humiliating than his own.

    Mr. Chairman

Played by: Steve Martin

The ACME Corporation's villainous leader, who seeks the Blue Monkey so he can use it to enslave mankind.

  • Beware the Silly Ones: He may be an immature, over-the-top executive, but he's still a dangerous totalitarian egomaniac perfectly willing to kill or torture others to further his goals.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: "We cannot let the good guys win this time, people!"
  • Faux Affably Evil: He is a humorous fellow, but that does little to hide his hunger for cruelty and sadistic personality.
  • Forced Transformation: His ultimate punishment for trying to inflict the same transformation on everybody else.
  • His Name Really Is "Barkeep": He's the Chairman of the ACME Corporation and actually is named Mr. Chairman.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: His plan is to use the Blue Monkey Diamond to turn everyone in the world into monkeys. He's the only one who gets transformed.
  • Large Ham: Steve Martin was having an absolute blast playing this role.
  • Laughably Evil: He provides some of the best laughs in the movie.

    Damian Drake Sr.

Played by: Timothy Dalton

A film star who is also, unbeknownst to his son, an experienced super-spy. He was captured while seeking out the Blue Monkey, but managed to leave an emergency message asking his son for help.

  • Actor Allusion: Timothy Dalton as a spy playing a spy actor, an obvious nod to Dalton's role as James Bond.
  • Badass in Distress: Spends most of the movie as Mr. Chairman's hostage.
  • Good Parents: He warmly hugs the younger Damien upon their reunion, and trusted him to keep the Blue Monkey out of the wrong hands.

    Dusty Tails

Played by: Heather Locklear

A spy undercover as a Vegas singer.

  • All Amazons Want Hercules: She wants to have kids someday, but laments how difficult it is to find a man with advanced weapons training.

    "Mother"

Played by: Joan Cusack

An eccentric woman who leads the Area 52 research site.

  • Ambiguously Related: She's marked in Damian Sr.'s satnav as "Mother", which she asks DJ to call her, and claims she's known DJ since he was small. (Her gesture indicating "small" is about the size of a very young fetus.) Then Kate changes the subject, so viewers don't learn anything more.
  • Mad Scientist: "This isn't about the giant ants, is it? Because they're not really ants...anymore."
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: She quickly realizes that the protagonists mean no harm, even though they technically broke into her lab, and equips them with gadgets and information about the Blue Monkey.

    Tweety

Voiced by: Eric Goldberg

A canary 'toon who lives next door to the Drakes.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: He and Granny appear in a brief gag near the beginning of the movie, and just in time to save the protagonists when they get lost in a jungle many scenes later.

    Porky Pig

Voiced by: Bob Bergen

A cartoon pig with a stutter, he laments about being considered politically incorrect.

  • The Cameo: Makes a brief appearance at the cafe and later appears at the end of the movie, doing his signature “That’s All Folks!”.
  • Demoted to Extra: Despite being one of the franchise's mainstays and probably the third most well-known character behind Bugs and Daffy, he only gets two scenes. This is averted in the video game adaptation, which gives him a larger role.
