Green Cloud Restaurant

    In General
  • Big Eater: With the exception of Whitey, each member eats obscene amounts of food. Izuku eats literal tons of food a day and Shiro was established as having a similar appetite on introduction.
  • Comically Invincible Hero: Each member of the staff is one of the most powerful beings in existence. Each individual can curb-stomp any opponent they encounter.
  • Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: While not out to save the day, they are a very strange group, and the main protagonists: A post-isekai chef, an ultra-powerful robot, a magic dog, a Sleep-Mode Size ancient monstrosity, a Lizardman, a ultra-powerful Witch on retirement and an anthropomorphic cat.
  • Wrong Context Magic: A major reason they are so powerful. Izuku's Gourmet Cells make give him power that lacks the limits of most Quirks, Blackey and Shiro are supernatural, and Whitey is composed of technology that far outstrips the MHA standard.

    Izuku Midoriya
  • Chick Magnet: He is physically attractive thanks to his Heroic Build, but most of his admirers are attracted by his cooking.
  • Consummate Professional: When he’s working his restaurant, Izuku always performs his job to the best of his abilities. Even when he’s dealing with people prejudiced against him for being Quirkless or those he has a personal beef with (such as Katsuki and All Might), he will still give them his best service, so long as they abide by the rules of his establishment.
  • Never Gets Fat: He has a flat stomach and visible abs despite his immense appetite.
  • Power Misidentification: Izuku's special fire is hidden as a Quirk that is a mutation of his father's since unlike his other powers, that cannot be in any way explained as what a Quirkless could do.
  • Supreme Chef: He can cook Impossibly Delicious Food at a ludicrous pace (In the Beastars world, he notes cooking at the pace of ten chefs felt slow for him) and he is on his way to becoming a literal God of Cooking.

    Whitey
  • Body Guarding A Badass: While he still acts as a bouncer so Izuku can cook without interruption, Izuku has far outgrown his inability to fend for himself on sorties.
  • Character Catchphrase: Troublemakers will be stripped as an example to others.
  • Flat Character: He has no personality beyond keeping Izuku safe and dealing with riff-raff.
  • Robot Buddy: Notably averted. He resembles Baymax, but isn't very friendly and is instead meant for violence. The author confirmed he has no real personality.
  • Shameful Strip: He will tear the clothes off of troublemakers and throw them out naked.

    Blackie
  • Angry Guard Dog: Blackie is very stoic, but he will brutalize anyone who dares to attack Izuku or the Green Cloud.
  • Arch-Enemy: He has gained Shigaraki's eternal ire, but Blackie doesn't really care.
  • Really Fond of Sleeping: Will usually be sleeping in front of the restaurant.
  • Sadist: He finds great pleasure in beating down Shigaraki, though given that Shiggy's an insane villain who's threatened the lives of Izuku's loved ones quite a few times, it's hard to feel sympathy towards him.
  • The Stoic: Blackie's hardly fazed by anything, usually only getting up to boot out intruders and receive the noodles that Izuku makes for him.

    Shiro
  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: Shiro's true form is a gigantic monstrosity that has a lot of razor-sharp teeth on top of already being ugly as sin, which is why he prefers to remain in his smaller, cuter fox-like form to avoid scaring people and bask in their adulation.
  • Cuteness Proximity: He mainly acts as a pet/mascot in the restaurant. Female customers particularly love him.
  • Monster Progenitor: The ancestral Taotie, from which all Taoties are descended. Shiro is also the most powerful of all.
  • Sleep-Mode Size: Shiro's true form is a massive creature that could eat a country. He is usually seen as a small fox-like being that can fit on a human's shoulders.
  • Shoulder Pet: Likes to rest wrapped around Izuku's neck like a scarf.

    Zephyr
  • Irony: Zephyr is the most immediately unusual member of the restaurant as a bipedal, sapient cat. Even Whitey isn't too unusual as robots exist in MHA. However, Zephyr is actually the most normal of the group as he isn't a unique mythical creature (Shiro and Blackie), a custom-made divine robot (Whitey), or a god in training (Izuku).
  • Story-Breaker Power: Notably averted. At introduction, Zephyr is the only member of Green Cloud that isn't powerful enough to level a city. He can curb-stomp a group of human thugs, but he notably fears Shiro's scrutiny, establishing him as significantly weaker than anyone else.
  • The Team Normal: He is an interdimensional traveler thanks to joining up with Izuku, but he stands out for not being an overpowered magical being. He is, for all intents and purposes, a normal employee. He notably fears Shiro's scrutiny, establishing him as significantly weaker than anyone else in the restaurant.

    Adelia
  • Rage Breaking Point: She completely snaps in chapter 28 when fighting against her former colleagues among the Sages, dropping a massive fireball onto them.
  • Only Sane Woman: Pretty much the only person (barring Izuku and co.) in the Magical Girl World who has any sort of common sense. She's understandably cranky about it.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Decides to leave her home universe in chapter 28 after enduring the madness there for God knows how long.

    The System
  • Extreme Omnivore: Is okay with anything being an ingredient. It first advises Izuku to use Shiro as an ingredient.
  • Even More Omnipotent: It is notably more powerful than any other deity it encounters.

Other Worlds:

    In General
  • Entitled to Have You: A good deal of the men act lecherously towards Izuku's girlfriends and genuinely cannot comprehend why the girls are put off by this and even worse acts.
  • Flat Character: Most of them are intentionally caricatures of the kinds of characters found in their genre, such as clan heirs who won't stop bragging about their noble birth.
  • Mugging the Monster: Everyone who challenges Izuku and his friends in any fashion have no idea how powerful he really is and get their asses handed to them.
  • The Narcissist: A very common trait among them is being in love with themselves.

Wuxia World

    Sun Mu-Cheng
An old man who is found trying to find help for his dying granddaughter.
  • Cool Old Guy: Incredibly kind and quite the badass in his prime, even more so after Izuku's Healing Cuisine revives his cultivation skills.
  • Dented Iron: Introduced as having lost his cultivation skills due to treachery from his family. Izuku manages to avert this with a Healing Cuisine meal that restores Sun's old prowess.
  • Deliberate Values Dissonance: Thinks about giving his granddaughter to Izuku as a concubine for her own protection. This is a plausible idea in the Feudal level society they live in, but he still doesn't like it and only considers it due to the danger they're in.

    Su Mu-Cheng
Sun Mu-Cheng's ill granddaughter who is sick from poison.
  • Ill Girl: Suffers from the after-effects of Dantian-withering flower poisoning from her evil relatives. Izuku manages to purge the toxin from her body with his Healing Cuisine.
  • Sex for Services: Sun muses to himself that it may be best to give her to Izuku as a concubine because of how unsafe she is in the city. Thankfully, it never gets to that point thanks to Izuku helping them gain the power they need to take the fight to their tormentors.
  • Tsundere: Very much the case if her flustered reaction to Jun pointing out her crush on a young weaponsmith at a celestial forge is of any indication.

    "Fatty" Jun Mo-Xie
  • Acrofatic: Said to look like he weighs as much as three men and can sprint agilely.
  • Big Fun: He is notably fat and short, but he is incredibly nice and knows how to work a crowd.
  • Nice Guy: His entire interaction with the party is motivated by gratitude for Izuku saving his Only Friend Su.

    Meng Hao
Owner of the Phoenix Palace restaurant
  • Becoming the Mask: He assumes a haughty, arrogant demeanor when Izuku first meets him, but he later explains that he only acts like that to fit in with the rich and noble clients he serves and only acted like that to Izuku because Jun made it seem like he was a glory-chasing rookie chef; he ruefully admits that acting like that too often causes him to get stuck in that mindset and sometimes forget he's only acting.
  • Face of a Thug: He is two and a half meters tall and has a mouth full of fangs, but he's jovial to face Izuku as a skilled opponent and they happily trade recipes.
  • Spirited Competitor: He laughs when he learns that Jun tricked him about Izuku's skill and he is very happy to realize that Izuku is a Supreme Chef when facing him.
  • Supreme Chef: Is explicitly stated to be surpassed only by his father and the Chef who works directly for the emperor.

Western Fantasy World

    John
  • Awesome McCoolname: Parodied. Just like the Female "Protagonist", John's full name is outrageous: John Hunter Drake Armageddon Hellblaze.
  • Entitled Bastard: Believes that all women should let him have sex with them, even if they already stated their disapproval.
  • Testosterone Poisoning: Pretty much a caricature of male isekai protagonists, with all the overinflated ego and assholishness that entails.
    Blake
  • Awesome McCoolname: Parodied. Just like the male "Protagonist", Blake's full name is outrageous: Blake Elizabeth Meloarna Dementia Raven Way.
  • Entitled Bitch: Believes everything should cater to her whims, even if it's wildly impractical.
  • Shout-Out: The last three names in her over-the-top name serve as a nod to the infamous My Immortal.

Magical Girl World

    Michiko
  • Really Gets Around: She's known for having sex with a lot of people, to the point that Izuku is surprised she somehow hasn't contracted any STDs from her promiscuity.
