The Osaka Division representatives. Led by former Mad Comic Dialogue member and comedian Sasara Nurude, the team consists of him, the teacher Rosho Tsutsujimori, and the conman Rei Amayado.

Their Color Motif is orange.

  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: The main theme of Dotsuitare Honpo is manzai comedy. The logo depicts a hand that holds a harisen, a fan that is frequently used for manzai routines.
    • Sasara and Rosho also used to be an actual manzai comedy duo which was also called "Dotsuitare Honpo" (Sasara being a boke and Rosho being a tsukkomi).
  • Drunken Song: "Naniwa☆Paradaishuu". Especially evident with Rosho, who gets progressively drunker and rowdier as the song goes.
  • Image Song:
  • Inconsistent Spelling: Officially romanized as "Hompo" as seen in the music video for "Ah Osaka dreamin' night", but many fans spell it "Honpo".
  • Lucky Charms Title: "Naniwa☆Paradaishuu".
  • Motifs: Harisen fans. The fan-shaped badges can be found on Sasara and Rosho's lapels and on Rei's hat. Sasara also has a fan with him on official art and on his mic.
  • The Idiot from Osaka: As expected of being the Osaka representatives, all three fit this trope to varying degrees:
    • Sasara is the most clear-cut case. He is a manzai comedian with a loud and flashy attitude, gaudy sense of style, he consistently speaks with a Kansai dialect and cracks a lot of puns.
    • Rosho is a more subdued example. While maintaining a professional image as a teacher and having a severe Performance Anxiety, he is a (former) manzai comedian, occasionally slips into a Kansai dialect, and can get quite rowdy when drunk.
    • Rei is the most downplayed example out of three, as him even being an Osakan is questionable on its own. With that out of the way, he is laid-back and easygoing, has a flashy sense of style and likes to drink.

The Leader of Dotsuitare Honpo. A former member of Mad Comic Dialogue and a manzai comedian.

  • Addiction Displacement: Used to smoke during the TDD era, but eventually quit and started using candy as a substitute.
  • Ascended Extra: Being initially introduced as Samatoki's partner in The Dirty Dawg manga, he later joined the main cast and became the leader of his own team.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: He was brainwashed by a Ramuda clone who used the True Hypnosis Mic. Under its influence, Sasara attacked Samatoki and quit Mad Comic Dialogue. As the mind control faded, he was unable to recall the reason why they stopped being friends.
  • Broken Ace: He's a very popular and talented comedian, but Rosho quitting manzai affected his performance quite a bit. He took an extended break from the comedy and even after getting back to it, he opted to only perform solo, as no one could replace Rosho as a partner.
  • The Cameo: Briefly appears at the end of both side B.B & M.T.C and side F.P & M mangas as the Division Rap Battle spectator.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Knowing that he can't go head-first against the Tobari brothers and their men to save Samatoki, Sasara pissed off another gang and pretended to be Tobari's underling. In an ensuing chaos, Sasara and Samatoki were able to take down their enemies.
  • Couldn't Find a Lighter: Shared a cigarette kiss with Samatoki in the side D.H & B.A.T manga.
  • Eyes Always Shut: A staple of his design. On the rare occasions when he opens them, you know things are serious.
    • Averted in Rule the Stage for practical reasons.
  • "Fawlty Towers" Plot: Desperate to get Samatoki to do manzai with him, Sasara lied about having a younger sister, which got Samatoki to agree. However, seeing how passionate Samatoki got, Sasara realized that he will be knee-deep in trouble if he comes clean. Sasara tried getting a random girl to pose as his sister, but she kept forgetting the story. As Samatoki saw through the lie, Sasara got on all fours to apologize, but it did not save him from Samatoki's wrath.
  • Image Song:
  • Improbable Weapon User: Uses a fire extinguisher to knock out the Tobari brothers in the side D.H & B.A.T manga.
  • Laugh Themselves Sick: His Rap Ability "Killing Joke" makes his opponent laugh uncontrollably, which makes it harder for them to rap properly.
  • The Leader. Is the leader of Dotsuitare Honpo.
  • Nice Guy: Despite being somewhat obnoxious (especially to Samatoki), he is a very friendly and upbeat person, who genuinely wants to make people laugh.
    • In "Ah, Osaka dreamin' night'', when Rosho's stage fright kicks in during his verse, Sasara joins in hopes to build his courage.
  • Plucky Comic Relief: Comes with being a boke.
  • Practically Joker: Being a green-haired comedian with an ability to make his opponents laugh uncontrollably makes him fit this trope, especially with his Rap Ability being called "Killing Joke".
  • Retcon: In the music video for "Division Rap Battle +'', his blood type was listed as B, however it was changed to AB in his official profile.
  • Sad Clown: Despite him being a certified funny guy, his MC name is Tragic Comedy not for no reason. His parents had a divorce when he was little and his best friend and partner abandoned him without explanation.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: Always depicted wearing custom-made suits, albeit gaudy as all hell.
  • Significant Birth Date: His birthday is on Halloween.
  • We Used to Be Friends: With Samatoki. Zig-zagged with Ichiro, even though they fought each other during the 2nd Division Rap Battle, neither seem to hold an actual grudge against each other.
  • You Remind Me of X: Seeing Samatoki's Death Glare, he got reminded of Rosho quite a bit.

MC Name: WISDOM
Age: 26
Birthday: March 1st (Pisces)
Height: 181 cmnote
Rap Ability: Educate
Likes: Documentaries, watching sports, people who aren’t afraid to chase their dreams
Dislikes: Fortune telling, people who step on others' dreams, speaking in front of large audiences
A math teacher and Sasara's former manzai partner, who abandoned comedy due to his stage fright.

  • Accent Relapse: He normally speaks standard Japanese, but occasionally talks in Kansai dialect when he is with friends or is really aggravated.
  • Ambiguously Gay: The first verse of "Own Stage", which is all but stated to be directed at Sasara, ends with "The moon is beautiful today, isn't it?"note , which is a Japanese idiom for "I love you."
  • Badass Teacher: Do not mess with his students. He actually punches Rei for tricking his student and getting her hopes up.
Rosho: Fool me and that's on me for being an idiot, but fool my student and you won't get away with it!
  • Boring, but Practical: In comparison to his teammates' very flashy Hypnosis Mics, Rosho's mic is just a wireless headset. However, it is the only hands-free mic in the series, which can be quite convenient in theory.
  • Cannot Tell a Joke: Initially tried to become a boke, but his jokes were too convoluted, so Sasara convinced him to become tsukkomi instead.
  • Cool Teacher: He is liked by his students, even despite his Performance Anxiety and his occasional strictness.
  • Dork in a Sweater: Wears a purple sweater vest.
  • Education Mama: His mother was very strict, restricting his free time in favor of studying, which made his childhood rather dull.
  • Enemy Scan: His Rap Ability "Educate" compiles all the information about the opponent and relays it to his allies, giving them an edge in battle.
  • Face of a Thug: At the very beginning of his manzai career, he was very intimidating, despite his earnest wish to make people laugh. Sasara got him a pair of Purely Aesthetic Glasses to cover his Death Glare and make his face more welcoming.
  • Former Teen Rebel: While his mother only cared for his studies, Rosho sought to become a comedian instead. After throwing a towel and abandoning comedy, Rosho is now a math teacher.
  • Image Song:
    • "Own Stage" from Ah, Osaka dreamin' night.
    • "Under Sail" from Dotsuitare Honpo -No double dipping!-.
  • Mistaken for Suicidal: He climbed up the Tsuntenkaku Tower, seeking inspiration for his comedy material. Sasara assumes that he was trying to jump off and yanks him away from the ledge before Rosho explains himself.
  • Performance Anxiety: During his comedy days, he became very self-conscious of his skills and became convinced that he was only dragging Sasara down. It eventually led to Rosho developing stage fright, which prompted him to disband his comedy duo with Sasara and become a teacher.
  • Purely Aesthetic Glasses: Sasara got him a pair of fake glasses to make his Face of a Thug less rough around the edges.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Although not as prominent as with Samatoki, his red eyes go quite well with his Face of a Thug that was depicted in side D.H & B.A.T manga, and he is willing to protect his students by using physical force if needed.
  • Straight Man: For Sasara's Plucky Comic Relief, both on stage (being a tsukkomi) and in real life.
  • Super Gullible: As mentioned by Sasara, he is very easy to deceive and has been conned a few times (one time, it was by Rei).

A Con Man who formerly worked as a military technician and developed the Hypnosis Mic technology. The father of the Yamada brothers.

  • Archnemesis Dad: Is one for Buster Bros!!!, especially for Ichiro. Even has a full on fistfight with him in The Block Party drama track.
  • Attack Reflector: His Rap Ability "Fraud" activates when an opponent uses their Rap Ability, distorting it and redirecting it back to their allies.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: Has a very brief appearance in the early chapter of side B.B & M.T.C. manga, meeting with Saburo and calling himself Gentaro's editor. He was later introduced as member of the main cast and was revealed to be the creator of the Hypnosis Mic, as well as the Yamada brothers' father.
  • The Chessmaster: His MC name is MasterMind for a reason. He makes multi-leveled plans to achieve his goals, usually involving some sort of scamming.
  • Coat Cape: Normally has his fur coat tossed over his shoulders.
  • Cool Shades: Used to hide his heterochromia.
  • Con Man: That's his official occupation. He is very well-versed in all kinds of scams and cons, occasionally using them in his plans.
    • Rei can be viewed as a conman on a larger scale. He deceives Sasara and Rosho about his connections to Chuohku, pretending to be just a run-of-the-mill scammer, as well as deceives Otome about his true plans that don't necessarily align with hers.
  • Connected All Along: Going to meet a suspicious but easy-going editor of Gentaro Yumeno, Saburo had no idea that he is meeting with his own father. Rei is also revealed to be Saburo's anonymous hacker friend, No.9 in the "Life is what you make it" drama track.
  • Disappeared Dad: While the exact details of his separation from his children are unclear, Ichiro had lied to Jiro and Saburo that their father is dead, being rather resentful of him.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Despite him being a conman, he is a man of his word. After squashing the beef with Rosho, Rei promised to introduce his student to a legitimate talent agency.
  • Evil Genius: He is a former member of the military research department who developed the Hypnosis Microphone. He also is skilled with cloning, being the creator of Ramuda and his clones.
  • Family Theme Naming: As all three Yamada brothers have kanji for 1, 2, and 3 in their names, Rei's name means "zero" in Japanese.
  • From Camouflage to Criminal: Formerly a military technologist, currently a conman.
  • Gambit Pileup: As noted by Otome, her partnership with Rei is pretty much this. Since Chuohku is dependent on Rei's resources, both of them scheme against each other, trying not to let the other get the best of them.
  • Image Song:
    • "FACES" from Ah, Osaka dreamin' night.
    • "Count the Money" from Dotsuitare Honpo -No double dipping!-.
  • Late-Arrival Spoiler: His updated profile on the official website openly states him to be the father of Buster Bros!!! and the Hypnosis Mic creator.
  • Literal-Minded: His wife Nayuta wanted a world where people could resolve issues through words alone, without resorting to violence. What did Rei do? He created a microphone that is able to weaponize words in a rap form and alter a target's mind.
  • Luke, I Am Your Father: Reveals to Jiro and Saburo that he is their father in the "Helter Skelter" drama track.
  • Lovable Rogue: He may be a scammer, but a damn charismatic one.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Comes with being a Con Man and The Chessmaster. He has "controlling people" in his likes section of the official guidebook.
  • Metaphorically True: His response to Sasara asking who was calling him is that he was "having a chat with a lady". Which is true, but he doesn't mention that the lady in question is the Prime Minister and the Party of Words leader.
  • Navel-Deep Neckline: Rare Male Example. His shirt is buttoned down to expose a good chunk of his chest.
  • Real Name as an Alias: His fake surname "Amayado" is an anagram of "Yamada" with "o", which also doubles as "zero". Rei means "zero" in Japanese.
  • Revenge: Is his goal, according to "FACES".
  • Rugged Scar: Over his right eye.
  • Shared Unusual Trait: Shares heterochromia with the Yamada brothers. One of his eyes is green, the other is gray.
  • Significant Birth Date: His birthday is January 23rd (1/23), which matches the Numerical Theme Naming of his sons.
  • Silver Fox: He's the eldest of the main cast at 46 years old and he has some visible wrinkles, but that doesn't stop him from being quite good-looking. His exposed cleavage also definitely helps.
  • Smoking Is Cool: Is the smoker of Dotsuitare Honpo.
  • Token Evil Teammate: He's more morally gray than evil, but being a criminal and his affiliation with Chuohku make him this.
  • Two Aliases, One Character: In the "aikata back again" drama track, Sasara goes to meet a person who scammed Rosho, while Rosho goes to meet a person who scammed his student. It turns out that Rei instigated both incidents in order to bring them all together.
  • Wild Card: Even though he is affiliated with Chuohku, providing them with the mics and Ramuda clones, he occasionally works against them. Notably, he warned Ramuda that Honobono is after him, so he must leave his hideout. Otome lampshades it but notes that Rei is the only person who can provide her with the resources she needs.

Alternative Title(s): Dotsuitare Honpo
