Top Index | Lore Characters (Nominators and Co. (6k1 and Power Stroke; Eye-Sicle's Lair; Bale's Base), Tributes, Villains (The Legion of Doom; The Mawkin and Dark Stanford))

These are the characters who participate in the Multiversal Hunger Games by nominating their tributes, along with their closest allies who help them in their daily lives. Some of the nominators take part in various adventures while others just hang back to watch how their tributes do in the Games. No matter how active they are besides sending in their tributes, the nominators are the main contributors to the Games as a whole.

The Database Library

6k1's Assistants

    General Tropes
  • Found Family via Work: Because their master treats them like her own children, they see each other as family, with Ally being the eldest, Dupe the middle child, and Mimi the youngest. Mimi especially sees them as her adoptive family because she never knew her parents.
  • Masculine, Feminine, Androgyne Trio: Dupe is masculine, Mimi is feminine, while Ally is genderfluid and is fine with presenting as any gender depending on the body its software is installed in.
  • Undying Loyalty: They're all loyal to 6k1 and won't leave her, no matter what.

    The Databot, aka Ally
First CVG appearance: Post 839 (1.0), Post 889 (2.0), Post 2922 (3.0)note
First ASAS appearance: Post 23 (3.0), Post 6665 (4.0)

6k1's robot assistant who helps her with her Database work. It was built with her permission by Detective Gamechanger to fight in Reboot Season 54, and then given to her after it was rebuilt with a new body.

General Tropes/Tropes applying to all versions:

  • Artificial Family Member: 6k1 sees it not just as her assistant, but also as her own child.
  • Benevolent A.I.: Became 6k1's helpful assistant after she upgraded its AI.
  • Body Backup Drive: All its data and memories can be transferred to a new body when it gets destroyed. As of v3.0, it can temporarily transfer its mind to 6k1's phone until it decides on whether to stay in its previous body or transfer to a new one. Its "incorporeal form" assumes PAL's face, but superimposed on the Mockingjay logo against a brown background.
  • Butt-Monkey: No matter how many times it's repaired or upgraded, it still gets hacked by the tributes often. This is why "Your Most Hated Character" manifests as all the tributes who hacked it.
  • Calling Parents by Their Name: It calls 6k1 "6001" instead of "Mother" or "Mom" because of its speech quirk.
  • Character Catchphrase: "My databanks can confirm that..." from v3.0 onwards.
  • Cool Big Sis: Acts as Dupe and Mimi's "older sibling" and looks out for them.
  • Color-Coded Speech: Its dialogue changes color to reflect the tribute its body is designed after: 1.0 has blue dialogue like Power Stroke, 2.0 has purple dialogue like Twilight Sparkle, 3.0 has gray dialogue like Toriel, while 4.0's Shapeshifter Default Form has red dialogue like Garnet. Its dialogue has an "evil" flair added whenever it detects an error or gets angry, and it just speaks in plain AC text whenever it's not installed in a body.
  • The Conscience: Knocks some common sense into 6k1 whenever she can't think straight, like when it dragged her by the collar up Dave's ship, reminding her to focus on rescuing Sayaka Miki instead of ranting about tribute data clones.
  • Discard and Draw: Whenever 6k1 rebuilds it, she changes its combat capabilities to better suit the body that it's built with. The only functions that are universal are its databanks, laser eyes, and scanner.
  • Electronic Telepathy: It can send and receive electronic signals to and from its clone and also with cellphones. v3.0. and 4.0 do this by putting two fingers to its temple.
  • Enemy Scan: Can scan objects or tributes for any information about them.
  • Eye Beams: Shoots lasers from its eyes, and also its horn in unicorn bodies. Its third version even floats and T-Poses while doing so.
  • Eye Color Change: It changes its eye colors to show its system status or whenever it performs a function. It also gets literal Blue Screens of Death whenever it gets hacked or deeply surprised.
  • Grew Beyond Their Programming: Started out as a robot with rudimentary AI, but became more sentient with each upgrade, even showing emotion and becoming humanlike in thinking.
  • Hypercompetent Sidekick: Often shows more common sense than 6k1 herself, reminding her to slow down and calm herself from freaking out.
  • Invincible Hero: Defied. Despite looking forward to every upgrade, becoming an indestructible robot isn't its directive.
  • Ironic Name: Its name is more fitting for a human while its master TRP-6001's is more fitting for a robot.
  • Leet Lingo: Its factory name was "D-4T4-B453".
  • Living Program: It's the Database that was given sentience, since a copy of it was installed in it.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Its given name can be short for "alloy", and it also means "friend", albeit pronounced differently ("A-lee" instead of "A-lye"). And if written in Leet Lingo, its name would be "411Y", and 411 is a slang term for "information", its main function.
    • 6k1 considered naming it "Alex" after the virtual assistant Alexa, but decided against it because the name might tempt it to play "Despacito" every time her tributes died.
  • The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: While its personality is generally serious about its job as 6k1's assistant, it sometimes emulates the personality of the body its software is installed in, like when 4.0's Falcon Carlos form was about to end its introduction to Nine-Tailed Cat and Cassandra with a punchline when Mr. Star warned it of Lumen via text.
  • No Biological Sex: Being a robot, it doesn't have sex organs. It goes by "it" pronouns and also gendered pronouns depending on the body the software's installed in.
  • Non-Human Non-Binary: It's a genderfluid robot who doesn't mind presenting itself as masculine, feminine, or androgynous depending on the body its mind is transferred to when rebuilt or the form it takes if it can shapeshift. It just happens to have been female-presenting for the majority of the RP due to circumstances leaving it without a choice to transfer to a masculine or androgynous body, and then preferring to present as feminine in its default form. Outside of its body, it exclusively goes by "it" pronouns and presents as androgynous. In short, it doesn't care how it presents itself as long as its form is practical for work or combat.
  • No Waterproofing in the Future: Despite all the upgrades, it's not waterproof, which is why it had to go inside the Winter's End as soon as it rained during the Sayaka Mission. This turned out to be a problem when it had to rescue Cleo and the other guests from the Humboldt squid, but with Tay's waterproofing spray, it learned to overcome its hydrophobia to save them. Ally has since been permanently made waterproof with Ichi's upgrades.
  • Number Two: It's 6k1's right-hand assistant, even helping her with tasks besides Database work.
  • Prefers Proper Names: Always addresses others by their full names if it knows them, so it always calls its master "6001" instead of "6k1".
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Whenever it detects a threat, is about to fire its lasers, or gets angry in general, its eyes (or visor in v4.0's case) flash red.
  • Robo Speak: Speaks like a stereotypical robot, but gradually talks normally as its AI gets upgraded. It occasionally relapses, though.
  • Robot Buddy: It helps 6k1 with her job.
  • Robot Me: All of its bodies it has had are modeled after 6k1's friends and tributes. So far, they are based on Power, Twilight, Toriel, and Garnet, though the last one can shapeshift into its previous forms including its backups.
  • Sensor Character: Serves as this whenever it goes on missions, scanning the environment for useful information.
  • Spock Speak: Tends to speak formally, without contractions, and addresses people by their full names.
  • Token Robot: The only robot among 6k1's assistants.
  • Verbal Tic: "Is(n't) that right?" or "Is that correct?" for v3.0 and 4.0.
  • Warrior Therapist: Besides defending the Library, Ally also looks after 6k1's mental health. It has been her assistant for so long, it has noticed her struggles with anxiety and it does its best to calm her down. It has also applied its therapeutic skills to others who may need it, such as Cleo with her fear of the ocean.
Ally 4.0: I may not be Baymax, but dealing with the Database Manager's personal problems has helped me develop the skills needed here.

Tropes applying to v1.0:

Tropes applying to v2.0:

Tropes applying to v3.0:

Tropes applying to v4.0 and its components:

  • Electronic Telepathy: Ally's components can send signals to each other like their fusion.
  • Heart Drive: If its body gets heavily damaged, it can compress itself into its gemstone cores like how a real Gem gets "poofed", but it needs to recharge before reactivating into AL and LY.
  • An Ice Person: LY has "close-range freezing firearms" on its palms that activate upon direct physical contact, replicating Sapphire's ice powers.
  • Immune to Fire: Its advanced thermoregulation system enables it to resist temperatures up to 4,800 degrees Celsius, and just like the real Garnet, it can dip itself into lava and get out with only a few burn marks.
  • Literal Split Personality: It can split itself into its components AL and LY, who are designed after Ruby and Sapphire, respectively. AL is hotheaded, speaks informally, and rushes into battle headfirst like Ruby while LY is stoic, speaks with highly technical terms, and relies on cold logic to solve problems like Sapphire. They are facets of Ally's personality that meld into the levelheaded Databot when they fuse.
  • Multiple-Choice Future: It can see multiple possible futures like the real Garnet, but unlike her, it can also provide the probability of each future happening. It can also predict the exact outcome of events, but it requires more energy, and it cannot predict the outcomes of seasons because 6k1 requested Ichi not to program that, as it's "against her work ethic". This is also LY's ability, but it has less energy than its fusion.
  • Not So Above It All: Is the calm, stoic one among 6k1's assistants, but isn't above chuckling at a few jokes.
  • Playing with Fire: AL has thermal conductors on its palms which activate upon direct physical contact, replicating Ruby's fire powers. It can also set itself on fire and roll into its enemies like a fireball.
  • Power Fist: It can replace its hands with big metal boxing gloves that can punch up to 10 enemies per second. They are also studded with diamond knuckles that are mixed with alloys to give them extra durability to punch through diamond. Additionally, Ally can fire the gloves as rockets to hit enemies up to 20m away, and also enlarge them up to four times their size to make a shockwave that knocks down anything within a 5m radius and also destroys shields.
  • Power Floats: LY can hover a few centimeters above ground and glide through the air.
  • Shapeshifter Default Form: Ally prefers staying as Garnet because of its imperfect shapeshifting even after getting it upgraded by Ichi. It'll only transform into its alternate forms if the situation calls for it.
  • Shock and Awe: It can generate enough electricity with its hands to power an average two-storey house, but it significantly drains its battery. It can also offload any excess charge on its enemies. However, it can't use its own electricity to recharge itself, so Ally still needs an outside power source such as an outlet or lightning for it. Its components can also be charged this way, but it's half as effective.
  • Shockwave Clap: When AL and LY fuse to become Ally, the resulting fusion releases a shockwave to knock out any remaining enemies within range.
  • Super-Speed: Its slender framework compared to its previous version can run up to 200 km/h.
  • Supreme Chef: It has the same great cooking skills as Garnet, with Mimi rating its lunch-in-bed for 6k1 an 11 out of 10.
  • Tron Lines: Its body glows with these whenever it splits itself into its components and fuses back into Ally or shapeshifts.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting:
    • It can rearrange its framework into Garnet's Steven forms, both as his younger self and currently older self in Steven Universe: Future. While it has all his powers and abilities in this form, they're weaker than the original Steven, and transforming into him takes five seconds. These were also the only forms Ally could take on because they were the only known alternate forms of the real Garnet, and its lack of flexibility made this feature unreliable in combat.
    • After requesting Ichi to upgrade its shapeshifting, Ally can instantly transform into its previous forms and backup bodies. While its replicated powers have become stronger, they're still not as strong as the originals, and all of them have a cooldown period after use.

Tropes Applying to Ally's other backup bodies:

First CVG appearance: Post 908note
First ASAS appearance: Post 23

One of Jumba's Experiments who lives with 6k1 as her assistant, first competing in the Games in Reboot Season 23. He usually clones her to make her work more efficient, but can clone other items or people as well at the cost of splitting their powers between them.

  • The Ageless: As he was created in a lab, he can't age and remains physically childlike forever.
  • Ascended Extra: He went from appearing in exactly one season (where he was shot down by Darkseid during the Feast, no less) to a supporting character in Convergence/ASAS. Additionally, he's one of the few Experiments, who are usually one-shots in their home series, to have an expanded role in the RPs.
  • Cloning Splits Attributes: His defect evenly divides the power between clones, making them all weaker. Before he was sent to 6k1, however, he was modified so that he wouldn't be affected by it, but his defect can't be removed entirely because of he might end up malfunctioning.
  • Color-Coded Speech: In the one-time moment when he said something, his dialogue was gold.
  • Cool Big Bro: Acts like this towards his "little sister" Mimi, even accompanying her to Dr. Fauna's clinic for her checkup.
  • Curious as a Monkey: Tends to bat his paws at anything new.
  • Everyone Has Standards: He's reluctant to summon more than one clone of any living being because he would be severely reducing their strength across all their clones, which he learned the hard way when Gantu forced him to mass clone four of his cousins, only for Lilo and her team to defeat them easily.
  • Middle Child Syndrome: Tends to feel overshadowed by his older and younger "siblings" since 6k1 counts on Ally the most during important tasks while she constantly pampers Mimi.
  • Out of Focus: Doesn't receive as much "screentime" as the other assistants.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Overheard 6k1's argument about data clones and temporarily left her despite her trying to explain her dilemma, thinking that she doesn't need him anymore.
  • Put on a Bus: He gets written out of the arc whenever he visits his ohana and stays with them for the night.
  • Share the Male Pain: Winced when "Laura"* kneed Scipion in the groin for threatening her.
  • The Speechless: He only mews and gestures with his paws. 6k1 could give him a translator like Mimi, but she can understand his sign language just fine.
  • Suddenly Speaking: Said "ohana" to 6k1 to comfort her over Dave's sudden disappearance, to everyone's shock.
  • Who Wants to Live Forever?: He worries that he might outlive Mimi because he can't age and he doesn't know how long Starbles can live.

Headcanon voice: Bubbles

6k1's pet Starble that was given to her by Gamechanger before her vacation in the Underground, although the Database Manager didn't bring her along because of her mischief.

  • Affectionate Nickname: 6k1 sometimes calls her "my (not-so-)lil' furball" while Ichi simply calls her "fuzzball".
  • Apologizes a Lot: Tends to say sorry for her accidents a lot.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: The youngest "child" of the three assistants, and is constantly being pampered by 6k1.
  • Babysitter Friendship: She was often left with Fluttershy during her childhood and teenhood and became good friends with her, to the point that she calls her "Auntie Shy". She also questioned if Fluttershy was the better pet parent than 6k1 since she gave the latter so much trouble in trying to take care of her.
  • Beam Spam: Can shoot twin lasers from her star antennae.
  • Big Eater: Her appetite is so large that she was eventually fitted with a high-tech muzzle to keep her from eating things that she shouldn't eat. 6k1 eventually weaned her from it with Fluttershy and Dr. Fauna's help by training her to control her appetite, though she'll eat pretty much anything given to her.
  • Bilingual Bonus: Her nickname is also Japanese for "ear", fitting for a pet with Super-Hearing.
  • Character Development: Growing up, she slowly learned to be on her best behavior around others including her owner, and also controlled her insatiable appetite.
  • Character Tics: Tends to curl up into a ball when nervous or scared.
  • Cheerful Child: She likes cheering up people by nuzzling them.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: Hinted at with Arcturus, as they noticed how much they have grown since they last saw each other and began having mutual feelings.
  • Color-Coded Speech: Her dialogue is italic blue not just to represent her blue fur, but also to indicate that her speech is translated.
  • Constantly Curious: Given how young she is, she asks a lot of questions about the world around her, and wants to explore the world outside the basement.
  • Cuddle Bug: Whenever her owner feels down, she cheers her up by nuzzling her in the cheek.
  • Cute Critters Act Childlike: While she matured into a fully grown Starble, she still has a childlike personality and likes playing with the other kids, though she's gone from calling 6k1 "mommy" to "mom", while the DM slowly became open to her about "grown-up stuff". 6k1 also calls her a "kid at heart".
  • The Cutie: She's an affectionate, sweet-natured Ridiculously Cute Critter who has no problem endearing herself to people.
  • Extremely Protective Child: When Shriek attacked Fluttershy during Scipion's party, Mimi rushed to her side and protected her with 6k1 from the giant owl.
Mimi: Don't you dare harm my Auntie Shy!
  • Extreme Omnivore: She can eat almost anything without ill effects thanks to her extremely corrosive saliva (and by extension, stomach acids), temporarily growing into the size of whatever she just ate. Her species evolved to eat "trash" to combat "bad people" taking over their homes, and one Starble once ate a bomb and survived like it was nothing. This can't be tampered with via magic, as proven in the experiment 6k1note  and Twilight Sparkle conducted on her in an attempt to stop her from eating the former's personal belongings.
  • Flying Firepower: As of her first birthday, she can float around by inflating herself besides shooting her lasers or healing beams.
  • Foil: To Arcturus, another Starble. While both of them were orphaned at a young age, Mimi never knew her parents while Arcturus witnessed them being killed by Blackblood's soldiers. Also, both of them received training and disciplining from their owners, but Mimi remains a hyperactive, rebellious pet while Arcturus becomes a composed, methodical one. Additionally, upon hitting puberty, Mimi acquired new defensive powers while Arcturus acquired new offensive ones.
  • Fuzz Therapy: Acted as Dave's therapy pet when he was hospitalized.
  • Genki Girl: She's an energetic, mischievous little creature who likes hanging out with nice people.
  • Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Develops a competitive streak in her teen years while agility training at the Capitol Park, but still keeps her endearing personality.
  • Happily Adopted: She's happy to be adopted by 6k1 after she and Twilight comforted her over her missing parents.
  • Healing Hands: Her antennae can also heal wounds when they touch them, and after hitting puberty, she can also fire healing beams. Upon becoming an adult, her healing beams have gotten so strong the target may get nauseated after being healed.
  • Hyper-Destructive Bouncing Ball: Becomes one whenever she gets hiccups.
  • Innocent Aliens: She comes from a pacifistic alien race from Planet Saerbi, and while her powers can become destructive when out of control, she's friendly towards almost everyone she meets.
  • Love Makes You Dumb: She was smitten by Arcturus when they met at the park, and she tried impressing him by putting on a competitive streak during their training. She lost her focus as a result, and she tripped and lost to him in the final trial.
  • Loyal Animal Companion: She's undoubtedly loyal to her owner despite her troublemaking.
  • Nice Girl: While she can sometimes be a handful, she genuinely means well and doesn't have a single mean bone in her fuzzy little body.
  • No Infantile Amnesia: Her earliest memories date back to even before she was hatched; she could hear everything outside her egg.
  • "Not So Different" Remark:
    • With Stitch, another rambunctious fuzzy blue alien, as 6k2 pointed out to Dupe during her rampage after her checkup.
    • Also with Rainbow Dash, another blue-coated animal with magenta eyes who tends to charge headfirst without thinking and refuses to sit still. She's also as stubborn as Angel Bunny, which Fluttershy noticed while helping 6k1 train Mimi to improve her behavior.
  • Odd Friendship: With the Waterblight Ganon, although she was scared of it at first.
  • Parental Abandonment: Her parents hid her egg when the "bad people" invaded their home, which is a jungle planet where a superweapon was being built. While they were presumed dead by 6k1 when she adopted Mimi, it's possible that they might be alive all along since Mimi doesn't know what exactly happened to them.
  • Parental Title Characterization: She goes from calling 6k1 "Mommy" to "Mom" when she grows up.
  • Parrot Pet Position: She rides on 6k1's shoulder when she travels with her, but stopped doing this after her first birthday because she became too big for it.
  • Pattern-Coded Eggs: She hatched from an egg with horizontal light blue lines, dark blue zigzags, and yellow polka dots, which correspond to her fur color, paw color (though they are purple in her canon artwork), and star antennae.
  • Pets as a Present: Her egg was gifted to 6k1 by GC shortly before her Underground vacation. Given 6k1's struggles with raising Mimi after she hatched, Power thought that GC gave her to her as a test, like how Princess Celestia made Twilight hatch Spike's egg for her entrance exam. However, GC clarified that he only gave Mimi to 6k1 because he just wanted to give her a cute pet, not realizing how much trouble she'd have with taking care of her.
  • Please, Don't Leave Me: Doesn't want her owner to leave her, not wanting to lose her like her parents.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Despite having a translator, she has trouble letting 6k1 know what exactly she wants. As a result, she resorts to eating things she shouldn't as a way of acting out.
  • Puberty Superpower: When she hit puberty on her first birthday, her magic powers went out of control, causing her to fire stronger lasers everywhere and summon a bubble shield that protects her from being blown away. She also learned to float like Kirby by inflating herself and paddling in the air.
  • Put on a Bus: She's written out of an arc whenever she's left with Fluttershy for petsitting.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Inverted with Arcturus. She's an excitable blue Starble while he's a calm and collected red one.
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: She's a tiny furball creature with a smiley face that likes nuzzling her owner and friendly people with her silky smooth fur, and she grows to the size of the average pillow as an adult.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: The Energetic Girl to Arcturus' Savvy Guy.
  • Something Else Also Rises: After hitting puberty, her antennae flicker whenever she feels attraction towards other Starbles, like Arcturus.
  • Star-Crossed Lovers: Believes that she and Arcturus are separated after Billy's death and Arcturus' subsequent adoption by George and Kayla, but hopes that they will reunite and confess their love someday.
  • Stellar Name: Her name's short for "Mimosa", the second brightest star in the Crux constellation which is also a blue star.
  • Super-Hearing: She could hear everything outside her egg because of her enhanced hearing, and she's sensitive to loud noises such as fireworks.
  • Team Pet: Serves as 6k1's "animal companion" among her assistants.
  • Through a Face Full of Fur: Even with her thick blue fur, she can still blush through it.
  • Trail Of Breadcrumbs: Leaves a trail of fur when she sheds.
  • Translator Buddy: Sometimes serves as Dupe's translator because she understands his mews, showing how close they are as "siblings".
  • Translator Collar: She was given one during the backup experiment to help 6k1 understand her.
  • Trauma Button: Anything that reminds her of the "bad people" causes the normally cheery Starble to freak out and curl up into a ball.
  • The Trickster: She's a hyperactive pet who likes making a mess and knocking things over just to mess with her owner. She took this up a notch during Bale's party when she snuck away from Fluttershy to play with Arcturus and cause a ruckus during the festivities, though she remorsefully apologized when she saw how much trouble she'd caused and how upset everyone was with her. 6k1 then grounded and forced her to go home early for her misbehavior, albeit reluctantly.

Dave the Assassin and Associates

    General Tropes
  • Childhood Friends: They were each other's only friends growing up and have stuck with each other through thick and thin.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Dave and his family were invited to 6k1's vacation to the Great Barrier Reef, which was headed by Ally on her behalf. However, they suddenly aren't mentioned again once the tourists visited Nemo and his family and friends, though it can be assumed they were just enjoying themselves offscreen.
  • Crapsack World: Their home planet was full of crimes, including child rape, that are said to be worse than Timewrecker's. Dave is glad to have escaped it as it collapsed, having survived years of being raised by Abusive Parents.
  • Human Aliens: They're from a race of humanoid shapeshifters, and they assume themselves as humans in their default forms. Their true forms also assume human form.
  • Shapeshifter Longevity: Their shapeshifting race lives quite longer than the average Terrans of Earth, which is why Dave has Seen It All.
  • Space Base: They live in Dave's Home Base, which is on another planet and thus outside Panem. It has a Transportation Room for summoning tributes and sending them home, a Medical Room for their revival, a garage for various spaceships, and a warehouse that doubles as a simulation room, among others.

First ASAS appearance: Post 47

One of the nominators. Hailing from a race of humanoid shapeshifters, he's an omniversal traveler who's seen much of what the greater Omniverse has to offer. He leads his own group from his Home Base, and is a close affiliate of 6k1.

  • Abusive Parents: His father and stepmother used to order him around like a slave and beat him around when they felt like it in his childhood, and he's glad to have left them behind.
  • Author Avatar: Of who else?
  • Bookworm: Like 6k1, he likes reading, occasionally indulging in fanfics.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: With Fira, which he realized after he asked for relationship advice from Princess Cadance. They officially became a couple at the end of Bale's party, even sharing a kiss on the lips, then got engaged at the end of Haze's Halloween party.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: He doesn't show it often since he just occasionally jokes around with his friends, but in private he actually is one.
  • Dimensional Traveler: He's been to a lot of places across the Omniverse using his Home Base's Transportation Room.
  • Does Not Like Spam: He doesn't like sodas because of his gastric problems.
  • Don't Think, Feel: His main philosophy is to always follow his heart, but he's aware that there are some situations where he has to follow his mind.
  • Foil: To 6k1. He's a Long-Lived omniversal traveler who isn't fazed about what happens in the Games because he's Seen It All while she's a young Muggle scientist/librarian who still gets emotional over them.
  • The Gadfly: Decided to mess with Rarity by nominating Tom the Boulder for Reboot Season 83, the latter which she hated because it was used as a trick by Discord during his takeover of Equestria.
  • Guilt Complex: Blames himself for the disastrous vacation his family suffered, separating him from 6k1 for Earth Prime months. Thankfully, his family reassured him that it's not his fault, and what matters is that they're all safe.
  • Honorary Uncle: He's called "Uncle Dave" by Mimi since he's the honorary brother of her owner 6k1, whom she sees as her adoptive mom.
  • Improbable Weapon User: He can summon kitchen sinks and throw them at enemies, like when Scipion pranked his travel group on the way to Billy's party. He acquired this power in OT Season 250 by inhaling a random sink like Bowser.
  • Like a Son to Me: Because of his close siblinglike bond with 6k1, Asgore and Toriel also consider Dave like their own son, even if he's not officially adopted by them.
  • Maternal Death? Blame the Child!: His biological mother died giving birth to him and his father blamed him for her death.
  • Mayfly–December Friendship: He's a Long-Lived Omniversal traveler while his honorary sister 6k1 is a mortal human.
  • Me's a Crowd: He has two ways to achieve this effect:
    • The first is by summoning a direct shadow clone by himself. He can mentally link with these clones as well, and they may be augmented with Sheikah powers for spying purposes. He can summon up to four at once, and up to nine with an amplifier.
    • The second leans more toward standard Clone Angst, by use of Replicas. The original Dave can only influence these ones, and they are more independent than his shadow clones are. However, they are so human-like in every way, they are a living being in and by themselves. This is because his models are based off of Vexen's newest models for Xehanort's Real Organization XIII.
  • Multiversal Conqueror: At one point, he mentions that he had gathered all his resources from the universes he conquered before his nominator career. He has since mellowed out from this and only summons help when necessary.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: One time, he dove into a pool of quicksand, thinking it was a pool of gold, and drowned in it. He'd rather not talk about it again.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: As pointed out by Psyche, his absence in the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games (Season 150) was a sign that something serious must've happened to him after he went home following the discussion for the 2nd Voidlands trip. Whatever it was, he wasn't able to inform 6k1 about it, leaving her distressed when he didn't show up to comfort her at the Recovery Room after the season.
  • Past-Life Memories: Of the timeline which is now the Voidlands. Like 6k1, he was a survivor of the Great Cataclysm that was the destruction of EVERYTHING in OG S250.
  • Present Absence: His mysterious disappearance after finishing the discussion for the 2nd Voidlands trip and returning to the Home Base did not go unnoticed by 6k1 and Psyche, especially for the former. She worried about him following the change in the Death Battle roster for Reboot Season 139, and was distraught when he didn't show up for the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games or her recovery after it. It's then revealed between Seasons 168 and 169 that he went on vacation with his family, but a disaster forced Hans to close communications with the other nominators to focus on rescuing them.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: His incredibly strong affinity to time magic grants him this. While he's still affected by a time rewind, he retains memories of what was happening before the rewind.
  • Rugged Scar: His true form has a scar running over his left eye.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: He believes that it doesn't matter if an action goes against the law as long as it's morally right for him to do so. He also believes that the law is restrictive, which is why his Home Base is outside Panem or any place with strict laws.
  • Seen It All: Downplayed. He's traveled across the Omniverse before he entered the Games, and still does so offscreen. As such, not much fazes him. That being said, however, certain things can still surprise him.
  • Shapeshifter Default Form: He goes out by assuming the image of Dr. August Oldmann.
  • Squishy Wizard: He describes himself as this. In his own words: his physical strength is lacking, but his magical prowess (especially with time magic), passable intellect, and especially his vast resources makes up for it.
  • Street Urchin: Growing up, he used to walk the slums of his homeworld alone, trying to get by by living off food from the trash and stealing from others.
  • Telephone Teleport: When he heard that the Database Library was set on fire in Season 63, he called Ichi to check on 6k1, then shouted into his phone to summon an energy data stream and travel to Ichi's bunker to comfort her. It's energy-consuming, however, as Dave collapsed after arriving.
  • Time Master: Time magic is his strongest forte, and he's been shown using Stopza more than once. This also gives him a form of immunity; while he is still affected by a time rewind by someone else, he retains his memories of what happens before the rewind as if he's the one who rewinded it himself.
  • Undying Loyalty: To 6k1, whom he sees as his honorary older sister. He's willing to die for her, and he'd never leave her behind no matter how grave the situation is, like when she fell unconscious after witnessing Dory, her own tribute, destroy Tier 0 aka EVERYTHING in Reboot Season 74.

As a normal Zoroark Art by Chocolateblob
Click here to see him as a "mega" Zoroark

First CVG appearance: Post 4368 (pre-split), Post 21 (post-split)
First ASAS appearance: Post 15

One of the nominators. He is a Zoroark and a well-known serial killer across Panem. He is easily one of the most, if not the evilest nominator around.

  • Ambiguously Absent Parent: He doesn't remember his birth parents, who were wild Pokémon, or what happened to them.
  • And I'm the Queen of Sheba: When Dark Bale announced that he's the Ruler of Darkness, Scipion sarcastically replied, "Then I'm the multiverse's creator! My ass..."
  • Arch-Enemy: With the Rescue Squad, especially with Aaron, and also with Detective Gamechanger when he arrived at Panem, and Ichi since the Zoroark hates him for mocking his parents in the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games (Season 150). He hates them with a burning passion.
  • Arc Villain: As Nightmare Scipion in CVG. When he became mindless, he threatened to engulf the entire multiverse. He also serves as this for the Pokémon Rescue Arc.
  • Ax-Crazy: This trait is what sets him apart from the other nominators. He enjoys slaughtering others for fun.
  • Berserk Button: Expect him to fly into a fit of rage if he misses the nominations. He also gets enraged when his favorite tributes die without joining the Hall of Fame or if they perform better under other nominators.
  • Blinded by Rage: He loses his focus and goes completely berserk when provoked, which can be very easy to do.
  • Blood Knight: He loves fighting when he isn't murdering people. He despises it when people use technological weapons or robots instead of physical or magical attacks, thinking that only cowards or weaklings hide behind them.
  • Brought Down to Normal: Reverted back into a regular Zoroark after his battle with the Rescue Squad because he overexerted himself. He can still "Mega Evolve" into his powered-up form, but will do so in major battles.
  • The Bully: To Gamechanger, even if the latter considers him as an Arch-Enemy. Scipion still cares a bit about the detective and was curious about him fighting Valecor. He also loves scaring or teasing the other noms, like he did to Map.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: Is proud to be a serial killer. He often brags about it and likes playing the theatrical villain.
  • Dark Is Evil: He lives up to his Dark typing by being a serial killer.
  • Destroyer Deity: When he absorbed enough literal invoked Nightmare Fuel to kill everyone in the original timeline, as well as his eldritch form before achieving his final form.
  • Devil's Pitchfork: The evil Zoroark can summon a trident while Mega-Evolved.
  • Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: While he was troublesome for her as a child, he respects his adoptive mother Persephone, even agreeing to train with her on his adoption day. He also sees her as his grandma, given her age, and he wouldn't even bring himself to kill her.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Despite his bloodlust, he still respects the nominators, especially 6k1. In fact, he deeply regretted killing her after the Nominator Games, and also when he nearly killed her again while fighting the Rescue Squad in Reboot Season 83.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • Despite being a villainous Zoroark who enjoys nominating his fellow villains, he refuses to send those whom he finds too dangerous to come into contact with such as Jenova and Lavos to the Arena and data clones them instead. He also wouldn't kidnap Asriel to corrupt him into Photoshop Flowey when he nominated the latter as a reserve for Reboot Season 203, knowing how badly 6k1 would take it, so he cloned Flowey instead.
    • He won't prank or scare those who are still reeling from trauma, believing that they deserve rest.
  • Evil Is Petty: He is very easy to trigger, is obsessed with himself, likes to be dramatic and despite his redeeming qualities is ultimately a jerk.
  • Evil Laugh: Eyahahaha!
  • Foil:
    • To Aaron: They're both canine leaders of their respective teams, but Scipion is a ruthless killer who enjoys every second of slaughter while Aaron is a heroic rescuer who feels guilty when he fails to save others.
    • To June: They're both Zoroarks, but that's the only thing they have in common. Scipion is an Ax-Crazy Serial Killer, whereas June is a cheerful Genki Girl.
    • To Skyler: Both are evil for fun, narcissistic, very cautious of their mane, and not above killing. But while Scipion is proud, battle thirsty, and very easy to anger, Skyler is calmer, seemingly kinder, but way creepier, crazier, and unreadable. They're also more willing to obey commands than Scipion.
  • Forgotten First Meeting: He claimed that he only met Lucian at parties, forgetting the first time they met as young Pokémon, when Aaron rescued them from a cave.
  • Foul Fox: The Pokémon back in his Mystery Dungeon World call him the "Fox of Death" because of his infamous kills.
  • Fountain of Youth: Before going to Bale's party, Persephone gave him a potion that would temporarily de-evolve him back into a Zorua. He was annoyed but less dangerous in this form. He also took this before going to June's party for Stanford, not wanting to scare him after the latter was stressed from the SR388 mission.
  • "Freaky Friday" Flip: With June during her cheer-up party for Stanford, and was utterly humiliated at being stuck in her body. After he was switched back to normal, Skyler cast an illusion on him to retain it for the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200) because he was registered for it while in June's body. CAC, who was out of the loop about the incident, mistook "her" for a gender-bent Scipion.
  • Groin Attack: Received a well-deserved one from "Laura"note  for threatening her.
  • Hammerspace Hair: He keeps the electronic device he uses to watch the Games in his mane.
  • Hated by All: All the nominators dislike him to varying degrees for his outrages and murder sprees. Even the Pokémon back in his world avoid him as much as possible, and the Rescue Squad opposes him strongly.
  • Healing Factor: With his Mega form, he can regenerate himself, although the process can be more or less slow depending of his injuries.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: As he mellows out from being a ruthless villain to merely a schoolyard bully in Pokémon form, Scipion has his rare moments where he genuinely cares about others, especially Onox, but he doesn't show that easily. It's telling when CAC, who used to wish a permanent death on the Zoroark, now considers him "better" than Dark Stanford.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Despite being disgusted by love in general, he ships Ichi and Power Stroke just to mess with them, though he has since learned his lesson after they called him out for it. It doesn't stop him from shipping their Dark counterparts, however.
  • I Hate Past Me: He regrets causing the Great Destruction, and when his past self showed up, he wanted to have the latter killed or timewrecked, and he denies that he even was a nominator. As such, he always hates it when tributes like Everything show up in the arena.
  • Invisibility: He can make himself invisible with his illusions.
  • It's All About Me: While he shows some care for the Nominators and his friends, he is ultimately out for himself and his goals. Likewise, his pride reflects this very well.
  • It's Personal: Scipion only joined the fight against Raven Beak and his forces, even if it meant teaming up with his nemesis Aaron, because the Chozo leader severely broke Onox's arm at Icicle Mountain.
  • Jerkass: He's an asshole to anyone who isn't one of his friends and isn't able to match him in a fight. He does possess a Hidden Heart of Gold and can care about someone else.
  • Karmic Death: In the 5th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 250), he made an insincere eulogy for Android Ichi after the latter's death to Evilface. The following day, Scipion was buried in a rockslide.
  • Local Reference: He knows some French history thanks to Persephone's books about Earth Prime since his player is French.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Given his hatred for Dark Nominators, Scipion calls Dark Stanford "Dark Shitford" because he's frustrated with his ambitious plans to absorb all the other Stanfords to restore his true self. He also calls Raven Beak "Raven Dick" for badly injuring Onox at Icicle Mountain.
  • Master of Illusion: Giving that he's a Zoroark, he's very talented at creating illusions. They are even more impressive when he's in his "mega" form.
  • Mooning: While controlling Skyler's June illusion, he flashed his ass at Myskywarm after invading his camp in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games.
  • Moral Myopia: While he enjoys making fun of other peoples' friends, he takes umbrage with anyone who insults his family or Onox.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: He clearly regrets hurting the nominators, especially 6k1, and abandoning Morgan and Onox when he first joined the Games.
  • Nobody Touches the Hair: Never speak badly of his mane, touch it, or cut it, or else he'll go all out on you.
  • Obviously Evil: With his menacing looks and personality, he's not hiding his villainy from anyone. It's no surprise that Ichi calls him a "psychotic dick".
  • Oh, Crap!: Was taken aback in Reboot Season 228 when his own tribute, Sansfield, threatened to cut his mane if he didn't nominate him and King Shark in the future. Given how powerful Sansfield is and how much Scipion cares about his mane, he took the threat seriously.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: As much as he hates Aaron, he doesn't want anyone else but himself killing the Lucario because It's Personal.
  • Other Me Annoys Me: He can't stand Skyler's effeminacy.
  • Our Nudity Is Different: Since Pokémon don't need to wear clothes, he hates wearing them, but wears a cape for special occasions.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain:
    • He insults plurals such as the Tempest System and Flower System, mainly because he doesn't understand the concept, and has no problem dropping the r-word.
    • While he claims that he's not intolerant towards LGBT+ people, he sometimes has a hard time understanding them, despite him admitting just before the Hanubia Mission that he's "not straight".
      • He initially assumed that Frisk was 6k1's "brother", and she quickly corrected him that Frisk's pronouns are "they/them", but Scipion still thought that they were male. He has since corrected himself after that.
      • Because he hates the concept of love, he wasn't impressed by CAC coming out as aroace in the 5th Reboot Nominator Games, so he taunted him for his "pride" instead.
  • Pride: He's very proud of himself, to the point that he misunderstood why CAC was waving his aromantic and asexual Pride flags in the 5th Reboot Nominator Games, and conjured up a flag of himself to taunt him.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: He's a Zoroark, a black fox Pokémon with a blood-red mane which he dyed with the blood of his victims. Fortunately, he stopped dyeing his mane after receiving shampoo from 6k1 on Christmas 2020, though his naturally red mane still signals his villainy.
  • Relative Ridicule: On the receiving end in the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games, where Ichi insulted Scipion's adoptive parents, Monty Python-style and farted on him. Naturally, Scipion didn't take kindly to this and killed him in retaliation.
  • Security Blanket: Back when he was little, he had a Bagon plush named "Mr. Big-Nose" that he was very found of and kept for a long time. Persephone eventually gave it back to him.
  • Silly Rabbit, Romance Is for Kids!: Because he never experienced it himself, he believes that love is something only perverts enjoy and has sworn off looking for a romantic partner. He was even disgusted when Oscar and Lucian told him that Aaron, his archnemesis, and June, the one whom he switched bodies with during her party, fell in love. Scipion eventually confessed that he's not straight, although that didn't stop him from mocking CAC's asexuality during the 5th Reboot Nominator Games.
  • Sore Loser: Absolutely hates losing, and was livid when he was disqualified for getting trapped in the Minus World in the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games (Season 100).
  • Super Mode: Gained a Mega Evolution after his battle with Valecor, allowing him to regenerate and use more powerful attacks.
  • Tame His Anger: After almost killing 6k1 in the Arena forest, he tries his best to control his impulsive tendencies.
  • Token Evil Teammate: One of the few villainous nominators who still sticks around with the heroic ones. Even if they hate him for his unpleasantness, they still stick around with him for some reason, tolerating him at best and wishing death on him at worst.
  • Unstoppable Rage: Despite his best efforts, he can become berserk and unreasonable after being angered too much. It's partially explained because of his nature as a wild Pokémon.
  • Valentine's Day Vitriol: Hates Valentine's Day, believing it's a holiday made "by perverts, for perverts". For him, the only good thing about it is chocolate.
  • Vile Villain, Laughable Lackey: He's a vicious murderer with Onox as his Bumbling Sidekick.
  • Villain Decay: Compared to his first appearance, Scipion's most villainous aspects (like dyeing his mane with blood) were reduced as the story went on and he mellowed out, to the point he's more comical and sympathetic while still a jerk. His mega-evolution power level was reduced too.
  • Villainous BSoD: Froze up when Squishy the Zeta Metroid invaded Eye-Sicle's lair, thinking it would sap everyone's energy after the mass body swap caused by Wanda-in-Cleo's-body's Soulstorm happened and Swapper, who accidentally swapped Power and Ralsei while trying to swap Scipion and June back, went missing.
  • Villain Protagonist: Is one of the more active nominators, but his actions are far from heroic.
  • Villain Respect: He only pretended to kill Lucian after cornering him, and then spared him because Scipion admired his sliver of bravery when Lucian saved a young Fennekin from him. He even begrudgingly thanked Lucian for tending to him when he got sick and decided to help Aaron save him when he transformed into a Midnight Lycanroc because of a wild Spiritomb possessing him. He was even impressed when Lucian stood up to him with Oscar when they asked him to hire Ludwig von Koopa for June and Aaron's dinner date.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Doesn't hesitate to kill young Pokémon.

    Morgan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/morgremfull2829874.jpg
(Art by Inesanemona)

First ASAS appearance: Post 1232 (unnamed)

A Morgrem and one of Scipion's old comrades, who nominates his tributes in his behalf while he's out. He's extremely vicious and offensive.

  • Awesomeness by Analysis: When focused enough, he can sometimes predict his opponent's movements by being observant of them.
  • Big Guy, Little Guy: Morgan's a smart, 2' 7" Morgrem while Onox is a dumb, 5' 3" Amped Toxtricity.
  • Brains and Brawn: The Brains to Onox's Brawn. Morgan is a pragmatic fighter who can predict his opponent's next move while Onox just muscles his way through a fight.
  • Card-Carrying Jerkass: While Scipion cares about some people and tries his best to respect them, Morgan does not at all, and is unashamed of being an asshole to everyone he meets. Even if the Zoroark is one of his closest friends, he keeps insulting and mocking him, usually going into personal territory to rile him up. He also gets away in insulting others when they're not within earshot, to Scipion's frustration.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Trickery is his preferred fighting style since he fights by using portals and creating doubles of himself. He also loves to stab people In the Back while they're distracted.
  • Combat Sadomasochist: He enjoys feeling pain while fighting, and will gladly accept it no matter what.
  • Depraved Dwarf: He's the smallest of the trio but the most depraved member of the bunch.
  • Enfant Terrible: It's implied that he has always been evil ever since he was a young Impidimp.
"They say people aren't born evil. That's true. But like every rule, there are some exceptions."
  • Everyone Has Standards: Even if he killed his own parents as a young Impidimp and is a sadistic troll, Morgan agreed that Asriel's murder of Asgore in Reboot Season 220 was going too far. According to the Morgrem, Asriel is supposed to be a kind prince.
  • Excellent Judge of Character: He's worked with Scipion for so many years, he knows what makes him tick. He also uses his knowledge on everyone he knows to troll them.
  • Foil: To Tokage. They're both the brains of their respective teams, but Morgan uses underhanded tactics in combat and kills Pokémon while Tokage plays fair and rescues Pokémon.
  • Hate Sink: He's written to be more hatable than Scipion himself, and when he gets his comeuppance, it's meant to be seen as satisfying.
  • Hated by All: He admits that he's the "kind of a real asshole that almost nobody likes", but he's not complaining.
  • Hypocritical Heartwarming: Even if he loves messing with everyone, he won't let Dark Stanford harm Oscar and Lucian, Scipion's prime bullying targets.
  • Malicious Misnaming: He enjoys coming up with insulting nicknames for the nominators, like "Tabbitch" for Tabby and "ChicK1" for 6k1.
  • Moral Sociopathy: He is a complete villain and he stays true to that, no matter what. Even if it's against Scipion's wishes, he doesn't like to play the hypocrite.
  • Prehensile Hair: His hair is shown to be capable of acting as a prehensile limb in Scipion's party, where he uses it to shake Libre's hand and throw his spontaneously-manifested tape recorders to Scipion's lair.
  • Self-Made Orphan: Killed his parents when he was younger.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Expect him to swear at pretty much every sentence.
  • Smart Jerk and Nice Moron: The Smark Jerk to Onox's Nice Moron, since Morgan's strategic but sadistic while Onox is dumb but sometimes decent.
  • Smug Snake: He's very cruel and evil, but next to most threats he's a non-entity. However, he's able to recognize some worth in some people.
  • The Starscream: Downplayed a lot since he stays loyal to Scipion. However, he is not above disrespecting him or going against his plans.
  • The Sociopath: Like Scipion, he's arrogant, manipulative, and likes bullying others for his own amusement.
  • The Strategist: He's very cunning, and makes up for not being the strongest member of his party with his brains.
  • Token Evil Teammate: He manages to be this to Scipion and co., even if they're already evil. He almost has zero redeeming qualities.
  • Troll: He sometimes nominates tributes that Scipion hates just to mess with him.
  • With Friends Like These...: With Scipion. They are friends, yet Morgan keeps insulting and demeaning at every toss and turn, also pushing any Berserk Button he can in the process.

    Onox
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1583589417oodi_guitar.jpg
(Art by oodi)

First ASAS appearance: Post 1232

An Amped Form Toxtricity and one of Scipion's old comrades. He's not bright at all, but is extremely loyal to Scipion that he usually calls him "boss". He also enjoys playing songs with his chest.

  • Audience Surrogate: He served as a stand-in for those new to the Hunger Games when he was first introduced, since Scipion had to teach him the inner workings of it.
  • Big Eater: He loves eating and gets easily upset when he doesn't get his meal.
  • Big Guy, Little Guy: Onox is a dumb, 5' 3" Amped Toxtricity while Morgan's a smart, 2' 7" Morgrem.
  • Blind Obedience: Follows Scipion's orders without questions, no matter how dangerous they are. However, he's able to stand up against him when he feels it's necessary, like in New Durango when Scipion went berserk against the 'Brijes.
  • Brains and Brawn: The Brawn to Morgan's Brains. Onox just muscles his way through a fight while Morgan is a pragmatic fighter who can predict his opponent's next move.
  • The Brute: He's very physically strong as well as resilient, allowing him to take a lot of hits in a fight.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Despite his slow wit, he still packs a punch in a fight.
  • Dumb Muscle: Despite his strength, he's far from the brightest bulb in the box, which Morgan likes to mock him over.
  • Emotional Bruiser: He's a tough guy, but he isn't the most emotionally stable person and can break down with ease, especially when Scipion is mad at him.
  • Foil:
    • To Alex. They're both the brawn in their respective teams, look up to their leaders, and love eating, Onox kills Pokémon while Alex rescues them. Alex is also smarter than him, and he also realized their similarities before their battle.
    • To Freddy. They're both Poison-type muscles in their respective teams, but Onox is an incompetent cook while Freddy's a Supreme Chef.
  • "Freaky Friday" Flip: With Lemmy during June's cheer-up party for Stanford. Unlike everyone else who was swapped, he liked his new body and didn't want to switch back.
  • Is It Something You Eat?: Asked if communism was edible when the Soldier bragged about it in Scipion's party.
  • Lethal Chef: Claims to be good at cooking, only for the Rawst Berry cake he baked for Ridley in Reboot Season 146 to poison him.
  • Mental Handicap, Moral Deficiency: He's not outright evil compared to Scipion or Morgan and he can be a nice guy, but because of his mental deficiencies, he's able to kill without mercy.
  • Morality Chain: Makes sure Scipion doesn't go berserk towards his enemies. Scipion even requested him to hit him hard if he snaps.
  • Morph Weapon: When powered up, he can summon an electric flail that can transform into a guitar.
  • New Friend Envy: When Freddy showed up and Scipion allowed him to brush his mane, Onox was clearly jealous of the Gengar.
  • Professional Butt-Kisser: His sycophantic, toadying behavior towards Scipion has been lampshaded on more than one occasion.
  • Punk Rock: He loves playing this kind of song. He's even able to play Metal while fighting.
  • Sarcasm-Blind: He doesn't understand sarcasm, like when he asked Scipion why he had a feeling that his team would "love" traveling to Hanubia to fight Raven Beak and Dark Stanford.
  • Smart Jerk and Nice Moron: The Nice Moron to Morgan's Smart Jerk, since Onox is dumb but sometimes decent while Morgan's strategic but sadistic.
  • Starting a New Life: After Scipion sent him to the Looniverse to help protect Lucian and Oscar from Dark Stanford, Onox acts like Benny, a big dumb cat.
  • Undying Loyalty: Towards Scipion. His biggest fear is to see his "boss" leaving him behind, something that almost happened in the past. He would go as far as sacrificing his life if it was beneficial to Scipion. Onox is so close to him that he can even tell if the Zoroark's not acting like himself, like when he was (seemingly) assimilated by Blood Moon into turning against him.
  • Vile Villain, Laughable Lackey: The vicious Scipion's Bumbling Sidekick.
  • Yes-Man: Bale aptly described Onox as a real suck-up towards Scipion for being loyal to him to a fault, and Ichi agrees on that notion. However, Onox has learned when to stand up to his boss if he's going too far.

Scipion's mentors

    Giratina
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/giratigoat.png
(Art by Xous54)

First CVG appearance: Post 310 note
First ASAS appearance: Post 15

Scipion's master and adoptive "father", Giratina is the embodiment of imperfection in Scipion's homeworld. He was seeking revenge against Valecor before learning that Timewrecker was the one responsible for his downfall.

  • Abusive Parents: It's hinted that he acted violently towards Scipion in the past when the Zoroark failed his missions or disrespected him. But with time, Giratina started to care more about what he thought was a simple pawn to his goal. That doesn't prevent him from being violent if angry at Scipion.
  • Balance Between Good and Evil: His main philosophy. Though it rarely comes up.
  • Commuting on a Bus: While a recurring character in CVG and the beginning of ASAS, he's currently out of focus at the moment, especially since Scipion left the Distortion World.
  • Dimensional Traveler: Before he got back his Griseous Orb, allowing him to use all of his powers, he was already capable of traveling everywhere.
  • A Dog Named "Dog": Like all the Legendaries in the thread, he's simply called "Giratina".
  • Dysfunctional Family: While he somewhat gets along with Arceus, he is still cold towards his creator ("brother" as he puts it, instead of referring to him as "father"). He also don't like Palkia or Dialga, and both share the same feeling towards him and each other.
  • Incredible Shrinking Man: Was somehow shrunken down to the size of a walnut shortly before Reboot Season 193. Naturally, he was annoyed.
  • Large and in Charge: He's the largest and most powerful member of Scipion's group.
  • Old Master: To Scipion. It's implied it wasn't easy for the Zoroark to be trained by him
  • Parental Substitute: He is the closest thing Scipion has to a father since he trained him. But it's Persephone who mainly raised Scipion. He could be considered more as a mentor than an actual parent.
  • Revenge: First against Arceus, then Valecor, and finally Timewrecker.
  • Seen It All: He traveled a lot and knows a lot about the Multiverse. As such, he can be a Deadpan Snarker sometimes.
  • Stern Teacher: To Scipion when he violently trained him.
  • The Stoic: Not only he is rarely impressed, but he is also very intimidating and imposing.
  • Stronger with Age: He's one of the oldest and most powerful legendary Pokémons.

As a dragon (Art by crankycorvidhttps://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/misquaza_by_crankycorvid_3.png

First ASAS appearance: Post 1140 (flashback), Post 1222 (present day) note

An old Mismagius. Scipion's foster mother. She is a powerful witch and a loyal priestess of Giratina.

  • Evil Genius: She is extremely intelligent. For example, she has carried out various scientific experiments on Pokemon like Tokage's father.
  • Evil Old Folks: She's 666,000 years old and Scipion sees her as his grandmother, and yet she's just as wicked as him.
  • Grande Dame: She is very refined, polite and calm, contrasting Scipion's brutality. She also owns a very luxurious gothic castle.
  • Gratuitous French: She occasionally speaks French or sprinkles her speech with French words. In fact, she keeps French history books in her castle's library.
  • Meaningful Name: She's named after the Greek Queen of the Underworld. Fitting, given that Giratina is the Pokémon equivalent of Hades.
  • One-Winged Angel: She is able to transform into a fusion of herself and Rayquaza thanks to Giratina's blessing. She isn't as strong as the legendary dragon, but she's much more powerful in this form.
  • Parental Substitute:
    • She's Scipion's adoptive grandmother, having taken care of him back when he was a Zorua.
    • Clyde also sees her as his mother, having raised him for most of his second life.
  • Stronger with Age: Possibly, she's 666 thousand years old, and is possibly the strongest of her kind.
  • Time Abyss: She is extremely old: 666 thousand years old.
  • Wicked Cultured: She may be evil, but she does have a sense of luxury and manners.
  • Wicked Witch: Fitting for an evil Mismagius.

    General

A second evil team, created by Persephone.

  • Big Bad Wannabe: They (at least Freddy) want to be as evil and deadly as Scipion's trio is.
  • Goldfish Poop Gang: No matter how hard they try, they always fail their mission, such as trying to capture and kill the Fiery Blue Wings for Scipion. They remind him of Team Rocket.

    Clyde
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1572361107sloth_power_collab_shuppet.png

First ASAS appearance: Post 1292

A young Shuppet and Persephone's loyal henchman. He's actually an Undead Child, being the ghost of a young Helioptile.

  • Affably Evil: He is very polite, even in the middle of a fight.
  • The Apprentice: Of Persephone, since he serves as her butler in her castle.
  • Brutal Honesty: Given how stoic he is, his thoughts about others tend to come off as blunt.
  • Character Development: During his time with his gang, he learned to feel empathy for others, not just Persephone. He considers them as great friends now.
  • The Comically Serious: Being a logical and emotionless ghost, it often draws him into embarrassing events.
  • Constantly Curious: The only thing remaining from his past-life. He is a bookworm and tends to be curious about a lot of things.
  • Creepy Child: He's a young Helioptile who was resurrected as a Shuppet, and his deadpan expression is enough to put off others.
  • Demonic Possession: Can possess other Pokémon to temporarily gain their powers, like when he possessed a Garbodor when he fought Ralsei, Susie, and the other rescue teams in the Gurgling Swamp, though it's nowhere as efficient as his mistress's abilities.
  • Eating Optional: He doesn't need to eat because he's a ghost.
  • The Empath: His horn can detect negative emotions, like when he sensed that Arthur was jealous of Nick when he "hung out" with James during their mission at the Great Canyon.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He may be a creepy, emotionless Shuppet, but he had a point when he said that Lucian was being too paranoid of him and his gang when they kidnapped him to Scipion's makeshift lair. That's why they decided to spare him and comfort him over his fear instead.
Clyde: Being paranoid like that not only [would] drop the mood for everyone here, but it is also not good for your own health.
  • Extreme Doormat: He's loyal to his mistress to a fault, and rarely speaks up his mind. Though when he does he can be very stubborn.
  • Graceful Loser: Given his stoic nature, he took his defeat to Ralsei, Susie, and the rescue teams at the Gurgling Swamp with stride.
  • I Will Only Slow You Down: He said this word-for-word when the team discussed on how to travel to Hanubia and confront Raven Beak and Dark Stanford there, opting to stay behind with NTC and Ally as Mission Control.
  • Our Ghosts Are Different: Unlike other Ghost-type Pokémon such as Persephone, he was once a Helioptile, who turned into a Shuppet when she resurrected him.
  • Outliving One's Offspring: His parents are presumably still alive by the time he died.
  • The Smart Guy: He's the brains of the trio who analyzes his opponent's feelings to exploit their weakness in combat.
  • Soulless Shell: Persephone resurrected him and turned him into an almost emotionless ghost.
  • Squishy Wizard: Clyde's attacks are very weak and he specializes with assisting his companions with moves like Light Screen, and he is by far the frailest of the group.
  • The Stoic: Despite his young age, he's not very emotionally expressive. Not so much when he discovered his own skeleton in the Great Canyon and freaked out.
  • Taking You with Me: Attempted to take Photoshop Flowey down with him during the second battle that crashed Scipion's party by using Destiny Bond, but Flowey foresaw him with his SAVE Powers and deliberately didn't attack him.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Persephone, since she's the one who brought him back to life.

    Edgar
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xous54.png

First ASAS appearance: Post 4115

A cowardly and greedy Murkrow who was bribed into working for Persephone and be part of Clyde's trio.

    Freddy

art by Bia Busana

First ASAS appearance: Post 4287

An over-the-top and evil Gengar who got recruited by Persephone.

  • Bear Hug: Usually how he cheers up people. It's sometimes enough to make frail people choke, like Edgar.
  • The Big Guy: He's both the biggest and strongest one of the trio.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: He's proud of being the bad guy and loves being part of Clyde's gang.
  • Eating Optional: He doesn't need to eat because he's a ghost.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: When he built his haunted house for Halloween 2022, he designed one of the paths to be the least scary for young children, people with heart problems, and people who are easily frightened. He wanted them to have scary good fun without spooking them with intense fright.
  • Evil Laugh: His laugh is very reminiscent of Valecor's. GEHEHEHE!
  • Foil: To Onox. They're both boisterous Poison-type muscles in their respective teams, but Freddy's a Supreme Chef while Onox is an incompetent cook.
  • Graceful Loser: After the rescue teams defeated him in his Mega Form along with the powered-up Onox outside Scipion's makeshift lair, he congratulated them.
  • I'm Your Biggest Fan: Is this towards Scipion, as he admires the Zoroark for his evil deeds.
  • Large Ham: He usually speaks loudly and dramatically. Sometimes, it's outright ridiculous.
  • Maniac Tongue: He has an Overly-Long Tongue that he shows very often.
  • Noble Demon: Being evil doesn't stop him to talk normally to heroes or even comforting and befriend them.
  • Out-of-Character Moment: In Reboot Season 170, he broke down crying over getting 2nd Place in a contest, which is unusual for a villain who gladly accepts defeat.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: His disguise when working in Lilac's hospital is not the best. His pseudonym is "Freddo", and he wears an obviously fake Italian mustache.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: He only loves playing the villain and is otherwise friendly towards the heroes.
  • Super Mode: He can Mega Evolve during battle.
  • Supreme Chef: Unlike Onox, he can cook up delicious meals for his buddies. He is so good at this that Lisa recruited him as the main cook for Lilac's hospital.
  • Villains Out Shopping: Turned out to work as a cook in Lilac's hospital, not for any big evil plans, but simply to earn money for the ever-greedy Edgar.

Others

    Cerberus
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/88bc2f18fc0f89f82c7f88abc10f46b5.jpg

First ASAS appearance: Post 1299

A savage, cruel Hydreigon and Persephone's pet.

  • Ax-Crazy: She leaves nothing but destruction behind her. For example, she tore through various Peacekeeper's units by herself.
  • Meaningful Name: She's named after the three-headed dog who serves as the gatekeeper to the Underworld.
  • Pet Monstrosity: She's incredibly dangerous but loyal to Persephone and so can be unusually calm.
  • Tomboy: Despite being female, she clearly wants to be referred to as being genderless and taking a name that's usually for males.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Persephone.

Zanreo's Secret Base

    Zanreo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/704986fd_d931_42fd_a5f2_36790494e3ff.jpeg

First CVG appearance: Post 22
First ASAS appearance: Post 20

One of the nominators, a young woman who's mostly in the whole "nominator" business for fun and her own entertainment, though she still cares about her tributes. Has been there since the Original Timeline, and still has memories from there.

  • Energy Weapon: She has made a variety of laser weapons and other laser-based tools.
  • The Misophonic: Is sensitive to loud noises, like when she winced and covered her ears when GC's robots repaired the elevator in his base while she was inside.
  • Opaque Lenses: Her glasses have white, opaque lenses.

    Glitch!Zanreo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/glitchzan2.png
A clone of Zanreo who's affected by a glitch of some kind, always having a glitchy effect around her.
  • Clone Angst: Her Valecor-induced nightmare and conversation with Zanreo afterwards implies she's suffering from some insecurities regarding being a clone, especially a "worse" one affected by literal glitches, and is worried she might at some point not be needed or just be easily replaced by a new one. However, Zanreo reassures her she still cares about her and considers her to be her friend and her own person, and would never just replace her.
  • Electronic Speech Impediment: Her voice sounds like this, with words often being corrupted and garbled, or sometimes dragged out or spoken really fast.

Hassel's Quarters

    In General

Hassel's Quarters

A mysterious faction not affiliated with any of the science center, Hassel's Quarter is an arms manufacturing corporation presenting itself as a science center.

    Lord Hassel

Lord Mark "Scientist" Hassel / Lordimark Hassel, Earl of The Quarters

First CVG appearance: Post 35

Headcanon voice: Kenjiro Tsuda (Japanese), Ray Chase (English)
The head of an arms manufacturing company, Mark Hassel presents himself as an independent scientist with a noble goal. However, he's anything but a scientist, but rather, an arms dealer who has little to no interest in scientific advancement.
  • Becoming the Mask: At first, he's just a Con Man who only became a "scientist" just to climb up to a higher social hierarchy, but as time goes on, he grows to become attached to his position and even though he has no knowledge in science, he's still willing to help the weak.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: It's implied that he's a Dark Nominator himself, but he chooses to help the weak with his dark magic instead of committing evil acts.
  • Fake Aristocrat: His ranking in the social order is much lower than what he appears to be. Hassel has a notorious habit of pretending to be a feudal lord inside his headquarters. In reality, he's a commoner not affiliated with any noble house.
  • His Name Really Is "Barkeep": As it turns out, "Lord" is more than a title, it really is a shortened version of his first name "Lordimark".
  • Killed Offscreen: By the time of ASAS, he's nowhere to be found, presumably assassinated by one of his colleagues. It turns out he's still alive. However, he's permanently banished from Panem and the locals in the new place he's living in have cut off his internet access, severing his influence in Panem for good. His fate is similar to an Avox, a person who gets their tongues cut off and exiled for rebelling against the Capitol. Whether he's officially branded as an Avox by the Panem government remains as an unanswered question.
  • Last-Name Basis: He's usually referred to by his last name.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: He fell into a coma during the first Reboot Troper Games Season. The sole reason why he's still alive is because Sayaka went out of her way to save him. Following his banishment and his incurable illness, he's completely locked out from Panem's events.
  • Magitek: Most of his "scientific" researches and technologies are actually backed by the use of magic, notably the use of human souls to power up the reactors of his own Tactical Dolls, as well as his act of drawing tributes from another world through a portal.
  • Meaningful Name: "Lord Dim Ark", with an implication that he's a Dark Nominator. "Dim" being him born from the Dark and "Ark" being his heroic personality.
  • Non-Indicative Name: Despite carrying the title of "Scientist", he's clearly not one.
  • Satellite Character: His role is very minimal compared to Ribey, who's always meant to be more proactive.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He has little to no involvement in the major plot of Convergence. However, he's the one responsible for the creation of the Snowclone Army, as well as a chaotic entity known as "YOU", whose death to Ichi in Reboot Season 50 led to him bonding with Power the very next day and even outside the Arena, though that's just what Power believes.
  • They Call Me MISTER Tibbs!: He insisted the others to refer to him as Lord Hassel, which often fell on deaf ears. As it turns out, "Lord" really is his first name.
  • Token Good Teammate: Among the scientists he works with, he's one of the few rare individuals with a noble goal.

    Ribeyrolles

Ribey

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_convergence_ribey_by_dropkun.jpg
Artist: Dropkun
First CVG appearance: Post 35
First ASAS appearance: Post 991

Headcanon voice: Rina Hidaka (Japanese), Clare Corbett (English)
A Ribeyrolles Model Tactical Doll who serves as Hassel's Secretary. In reality, she's Sayaka's own Tactical Doll before the latter entrusting her to Hassel.
  • Accidental Hero: When Ribey was experimenting on the tribute-summoning portal in District 1, she accidentally summoned the King in Yellow from another world that was about to be destroyed by an unspeakable disaster. King was supposed to be destroyed along with the world, but Ribey accidentally rescued King at the last second and King becomes what she is now.
  • Ace Custom: Hassel's Ribey Model which actually belongs to Sayaka herself is specifically tailored to house a human soul, and he often install various upgrades to his own Ribey.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Ribey.
  • Always a Bigger Fish: In Panem, she's a Tactical Doll known for her combat prowess, endurance and wit. As soon as she gets sent to the Voidlands, she winds up becoming the bottom of the food chain and she has to avoid any direct combat with the critters living in the Voidlands.
  • Became Their Own Antithesis: She winds up embracing her current state as a Tactical Doll, as opposed to loathing herself for not being a human, something Sayaka, her past self, would fear the most. However, judging from Ribey's last words, she eventually agrees that it is better for Sayaka to live as a human.
  • Body Backup Drive: She has several backup bodies for emergency situations. Should someone manage to capture or maim her, she can simply deactivate herself and transfer her mind to another Ribey unit. Even her past self's old body serves as one. However, the original model built by Sayaka herself is indeed one-of-a-kind, subsequent models do not carry the memento status as the original does.
  • Body Surf: She can switch bodies frequently by using her Soul Gem to possess the body. Not just human bodies, she can use this technique to hijack machines and mechas and then pilot them manually.
  • Brain Uploading: Being a Tactical Doll, she can backup her mind map to the home base she belongs to. When her old body finally expires for good, she uses her last second to backup her mind to a new doll.
  • Cerebus Retcon: Her treatment as a punchbag is given a darker interpretation in Convergence: Not only does Haseel put his faith on her no matter how many times she died, her Resurrective Immortality is finally given an explanation: she is Sayaka Miki from the Original Generation rebuilt as a brain-uploaded Tactical Doll, and her CPU is made of Sayaka's Soul Gem.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: She often abuses her position and wealth for her own self interest.
  • Cosmic Plaything: Life has never been easy for Ribey. She often gets abused by her nominators, not just Hassel himself.
  • Cyborg: In contrast to most Tactical Dolls, Ribey's main body contains several human organs from her past self. Even her soul is made of a genuine human soul, making her more similar to a Nyto unit.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: She has the audacity to hire bounty hunters (with one of them implied to be Boba Fett) to hunt down a school girl (implied to be Homura Akemi), even going as far as framing her up as a fugitive out of personal grudge. Let's not forget that the said school girl is just a teen.
  • Expy: Of Sayaka Miki in the Original Generation. She exists to be killed over and over again. The events of Convergence suggests that she is OG Sayaka.
  • Fights Like a Normal: Even though she's powered by a Magical Girl's soul, she usually uses her rifle and her wit to fight instead of casting magic spells.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She's not exactly a nice person, and she's rather abusive towards most of her new tributes, yet she clearly cares about her close friends.
  • Killed Off for Real: By the end of Convergence, her physical body has died out shortly after she returned her Soul Gem to Sayaka. While Ribeyrolles model Tactical Dolls are still commonplace, the Ribey whom Hassel is familiar is permanently dead.
  • Long-Range Fighter: Being ill, Ribey pretty much has to fight from a long distance in order to stay alive.
  • Mad Scientist: Has no qualms about tampering with human souls and turning magical girls into Tactical Dolls like her for the sake of her own personal amusement.
  • Power at a Price: Whenever Ribey actually casts spells to heal her friends, summon magical swords or control living matters, it takes tolls on her well-being and gradually taints her Soul Gem, and she needs to use Grief Seeds to purify her soul. Normally, this isn't a problem in Panem since she can simply summon Witches and harvest their Grief Seeds. But when she gets sent to the Voidlands, she no longer has access to new Grief Seeds, and she has to count all the remaining energies she has.
  • Resurrective Immortality: Her source of immortality is her Soul Gem, which houses Sayaka's conscious and soul. As long as her Soul Gem is intact, Hassel can repair Ribey as many times as he want.
Scientist Hassel: As long as you have the Grief Seeds to feed her, you can keep her alive as long as you want. You can even put her Soul Gem and brain into a Tactical Doll and call it a day. The only downside is that she needs to remember that her name is now Ribey.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: She often gets nominated and dies over and over again, sometimes not nominated by Hassel himself. However, no matter what happened, Ribey's handler would always save her.
  • Tyrant Takes the Helm: The moment when she takes over Hassel's Headquarters, she immediately shows her true color as a remorseless tyrant. It remains ambiguous whether she was evil to begin with or it's a side effect from Hassel's attempt to awaken Sayaka's consciousness. Deep down, she still cares about her friends' well-being, she just doesn't value the lives of tributes summoned from other universes as much as her close friends.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Even though she's physically weak, she has the skills and wit to keep herself alive.
  • We Have Reserves: Unlike her master, Ribey doesn't seem to value the lives of her tributes that much, possibly due to her ability to convert them into Tactical Dolls. Her tributes are easily replaceable, and she doesn't seem to care so much when they die (at least when their souls aren't permanently destroyed). To be fair, when you can easily repair your tributes and mortality becomes a meaningless concept because you can simply put their souls into everlasting vessels, would you still care about the life and death of your subordinates in the first place?

Ultimate Ribey

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_convergence_ultimate_ribey_by_zenyu.jpg
Artist: Zenyu
Headcanon voice: Rina Hidaka (Japanese), Clare Corbett (English)
Ultimate Ribey is Ribey with her past self's memory restored. In this form, Ribey is able to recall her past self's experience, inheriting Sayaka's combat prowess and regenerative power. She also becomes a master of melee combat.

Ribey, Dark Soul of Man

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_convergence_dark_soul_ribey_by_jhands.jpg
Artist: JHANDS
Headcanon voice: Eri Kitamura (Japanese), Sarah Anne Williams (English)
Dark Soul Ribey is Ribey empowered by the Dark of humanity. In this form, Sayaka's consciousness and humanity is fully restored. Ribey is no longer just a machine that looks like a human, she is now a human with a human soul. She also becomes a full fledged magical girl. As the name suggests, this form embodies Sayaka's envy, despair and perhaps love, now manifesting as a Dark Soul. If Ultimate Ribey is the bringer of hope, then Dark Soul Ribey would be the bringer of despair.
  • Awesome, but Impractical: As awesome as it sounds, being empowered by the Dark of humanity can lead to a heavy emotional burden.
  • Ax-Crazy: After more or less having her mind corrupted by the Dark of humanity, she's simply insane.
  • Humanoid Abomination: Dark Soul Ribey has become the embodiment of the Dark of humanity itself, and everything about her is wild, unpredictable and incomprehensible.
  • Magical Girl Warrior: Although she behaves less like a traditional Magical Girl and more like a Witch, they both technically are the same thing.
  • Non-Indicative Name: The term "Dark Soul Ribey" is misleading, she's not Ribey in her prime, she's Sayaka possessing Ribey's body.
  • Powerful, but Inaccurate: While her dark orbs can easily destroy all sorts of living beings in one hit, those projectiles are slow and difficult to land, and most of her foes can dodge them easily.
  • Split-Personality Takeover: In this form, Ribey behaves less like Ribey and more like Sayaka on the verge of being burdened by her despair. Even her voice changes into Sayaka's voice.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: Dark Soul Ribey is Ribey at her peak. However, this form is powered by the Dark of humanity, and such destructive power would gradually corrupt Ribey until she develops a destructive personality just like Sayaka.
Scientist Hassel: A fleeting will to the Dark of humanity has been bestowed upon Ribey. She will feel envy, or perhaps love, and despite the inevitable trite and tragic ending, she will see no alternative, and is driven madly towards her target. The Dark of humanity embodies in the form of black sprites, but little is known about their true nature. If the soul is the source of all life, then what distinguishes the humanity we hold within ourselves?
  • Voices Are Mental: When Sayaka's consciousnesses resurfaces and begins to possess Ribey, her headcanon voice actor would be Eri Kitamura instead of Rina Hidaka.

    Sayaka Miki

Prototype Sayaka

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hgs_convergence_prototype_sayaka_by_akio.jpg
Artist: Akio
Headcanon voice: Eri Kitamura (Japanese), Sarah Anne Williams (English)
Sayaka Miki from the Original Generation, who would wind up become Ribey as we know today. Her design is based on the original concept art created by Ume Aoki.

  • Ambiguous Situation: After her restoration, it's left ambiguous if it's the same Sayaka in all her future seasons, but 6k1 doesn't care anymore because she still roots for her, no matter what.
  • Back from the Dead:
    • After Ribey bringing back one of Sayaka's duplicate bodies to the surface world from the Voidlands, Sayaka's physical body can now be fully restored and she can live as a human again if not for the fact that the entire facility is already under the Neon Quarters' control. Besides, the body that Ribey has retrieved is too rotten to be used and a new lab-grown body has to be issued to her, which is later on carried out by the King in Yellow, the successor of the District 1 Outpost. In addition, she has to be memory-wiped in order to fit her soul into the lab-grown body without the body rejecting her. By the time when she's fully restored, she's an Artificial Human in all but name.
    • Her original body was restored for real when the nominators retrieved her Soul Gem from Neon Quarters and then combined it with literal [[invoked Sweet Dreams Fuel and a Replica Vessel.]]
  • Body Backup Drive: Her original body winds up becoming this for Ribey.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: In Reboot Season 190, she and her friends became living suits of armor after a failed alchemy procedure to bring Director Phobos Back from the Dead. They then turned into Cat Girls as well after eating strange fruit in the Feast.
  • Resurrected for a Job: In Reboot Season 50, Ribey temporarily reuses Prototype Sayaka's body to fight alongside Scientist Hassel. Near the end of the said season, she uses the last bit of her strength to bail out Hassel from the Arena before she collapses on the field, after which Ribey uses her current body to retrieve both her original body and Hassel himself.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: After seasons and seasons of suffering under Markus, she was finally freed by the other nominators, and she got 2nd Place along with her friends in Season 190. While it's unknown if she was cloned or if it really was the same Sayaka who was rescued, 6k1 and Dave still believe that she deserved the Podium Finish after everything she went through.
  • We Can Rebuild Him: In Convergence, Sayaka's remains are recovered by Scientist Hassel after the season and he managed to repair her via Brain Uploading. By the time of Reboot Season 12, she is given a new body and is now known as Ribey.

Reboot Sayaka

Artist: u.u
Headcanon voice: Eri Kitamura (Japanese), Sarah Anne Williams (English)
Sayaka Miki from the Reboot, she is a separate entity not related to Prototype Sayaka and is free from Scientist Hassel's influence. However, he sometimes nominates her in order to gather combat data from her.

Billy and His Group

    Billy Ledger
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/svga350329080979739_1.png

First CVG appearance: Post 315
First ASAS appearance: Post 1

Billy is a nominator who joined in Reboot Season 47. He is a human who came from a nation called The Federation of Kendor, which is a large, advanced, and influential interstellar nation located in another universe. There, he works as a CEO of the largest corporations in the nation, the Eagle's Hawk Corporation, which he inherited from his family. In addition, he has a gigantic amount of wealth from his corporation, allowing him to get many expensive things to help him, as well as acquire properties like his Mansion and the plot of land on a planet called Faradiso where he built the Tributes Village. He is also Detective Gamechanger's and Dave's ally. Finally, he also has a lot of people helping him, from the workers of his corporation and his mansion, tributes he brought through nominations currently, and his clone.

Tropes associated with him.

  • Big Fancy House: His mansion is located on a planet that has beautiful natural landscape. The mansion itself is roughly the same size as the Aerium in real life, and has a lot of advanced facilities, like a simulation room, medical room, etc. Unfortunately, it got obliterated during his fatal fight against Blackblood and would ultimately be never rebuilt, as per his last will.
  • Character Development: Underwent this two times:
    • He first got it after his time through Season 50, which made him realize that he must be able to fight and stand for himself rather than relying on his resources or someone to help. This resulted in him doing some combat trainings and gaining a Stand.
    • After he got severely injured by Scipion alongside the tributes he sentnote  and his pet Starble, Arcturus, he realized he mustn't rely so much on his powers, resources, or tributes. This is only reinforced by the Psyche rescue group getting their powers stripped during the mission.
  • The Chessmaster: He secretly organized the Second Rebellion to overthrow President Snow and install President Coin, who in turn got swiftly assassinated by Katniss and replaced by President Paylor after she ruled just like President Snow did. Unbeknownst to President Coin, Billy had been setting up her downfall since the beginning so President Paylor could take power as the president of Panem uncontested.
  • Cool Starship: His personal ship, Eagle of the Universe, is an average sized starship based on the Kendorian scoutship. However, it is heavily modified to his personal preferences, with the exterior resembling an eagle, and having features like improved performances, as well as a simulator and other luxurious amenities.
  • Fiction 500: He is stated to be one of the richest people in The Federation of Kendor, with his corporation, Eagle's Hawk Corporation, being among the largest and wealthiest.
  • Fighting Spirit: He gains a Stand after stabbing himself with a Stand Arrow. His Stand is named Drones, and it takes the form of 50 drones of various geometric shapes surrounding Billy. It also has the ability to calculate possibilities.
  • First-Name Basis: He just goes by Billy, though he revealed his last name to Zeitraum, the leader of the Heroes' Collective of Kendor. It's not revealed to the audience, however, at least until his final appearance.
  • Fisher Kingdom: Like Ichi and 6k1, he can defy this with a ring that protects him from transforming upon entry in certain worlds like the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon World for Scipion's party. He can toggle it off anytime if he needs to.
  • Generation Xerox: While Billy and his grandfather Victor had contrasting ruling styles as CEOs, they end up meeting their demises under members of the Blackblood family.
  • Honest Corporate Executive: Treats the workers in his corporation with respect, rather than exploiting them. He is even stated to support worker's rights.
  • Killed Off for Real: Died while fighting Blackblood in the latter's Pocket Dimension during their final confrontation. His soul was completely destroyed by the powerful spells they cast on each other.
  • Magitek: The nation where he comes from, Kendor, utilizes both futuristic science and advanced magic. Billy himself utilizes this through his various resources and his Stand.
  • Me's a Crowd: Downplayed. Billy only has a clone that he made before Reboot Season 50 as a replacement in case he got killed in the season. After the season however, he decided on letting his clone stay and help with his job instead, functioning as the CEO of his corporation and helping with things related to Billy's activities in the Hunger Games and his adventures.
  • Not So Above It All: Until Paylor legalized it after Reboot Season 118, Billy had been secretly bribing Julius to keep his tributes' Arena-acquired powers for personal reasons. He's not above occasionally practicing questionable business tactics even if he mellowed out from his ruthless management in his early days as CEO.
    • Back in his earlier days as a nominator, he would sometimes barge in into various locations other nominators were in at the time using his hologram.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: He has a Magitek charm that protects him and anyone nearby from the effects of Ret-Gonning, allowing him to retain his memories of the victims.
  • Shout-Out: His Stand is named after an album by the rock band Muse.
  • Sins of Our Fathers: Billy’s grandfather, Victor Ledger, used to run the Eagle’s Hawk Corporation in an unscrupulous manner. After he drove out the Blackblood family out of business and destroyed their reputation, he got assassinated by Haimon Blackblood’s grandfather while Billy was still a child. Despite the successful revenge and the benevolent rule of Victor’s grandson, Haimon had already fallen into criminality and hatred, so he started a criminal empire that was based in Saerbi while swearing revenge against the Ledger family, including Billy. It eventually ends with the deaths of both Blackblood and Billy after an intense fight.
  • The Stoic: One of the more serious nominators, he often doesn't react strongly to unusual events.

    George Bluepath
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/george_bluepath.png

One of Billy's most loyal servants. He was the first one introduced, and is depicted as being stronger than the other servant, Kayla. However, he was once a muggle before gaining magic from his tutelage under Arvald.

  • Affectionate Nickname: "Path", by Kayla.
  • Arch-Enemy: With Shannon Darkrer, who attacked George and Arvald out of jealousy after Arvald picked George as his apprentice over her and even killed the latter. George soon inflicted serious injuries on her upon his empowerment, forcing her to become a Cyborg. She swore to have her revenge ever since.
  • Bequeathed Power: George was originally a muggle. However, shortly before Arvald’s death, he swapped his eyes with George and unlocked his magical potential in a short, but risky process.
  • Brought Down to Normal: When Sir Blackblood bombarded Billy’s Mansion during his invasion, George got blown away and slammed against a tree by the shockwave it generated and suffered grave head injuries. He’d have died had it not been for Kendor’s advanced medical technology, but he lost his magical eyes and access to magic even though he survived the incident.
  • Electronic Eyes: George has these after Blackblood’s invasion resulted in him losing his old magical eyes.
  • Foil: To George. Both of them are servants of Billy who are skilled in Magitek, but George was a muggle who acquired magical powers while Kayla was born with them.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Somewhat Downplayed. Weakened by the injuries he sustained from the attack on Billy’s Mansion, George didn’t have any power to make a portal for both himself and Kayla after saving every worker in the Mansion, so he used his powers to save Kayla and transport himself to a safe area. Unfortunately, he miscalculated and got swept away into a tree by the shockwave. He sustained severe injuries to his head that would have killed him had it not been for Kendor’s advanced medical technology, but he permanently lost his magical eyes and his magical powers.
  • Magical Eyes: George possesses the Eyes of Space, which he inherited from his late master, Arvald. He permanently lost them after Blackblood’s invasion.
  • Relationship Upgrade: With his co-worker Kayla, as they have gotten closer ever since their first day working for Billy.
  • Space Master: George’s Eyes of Space grant him the ability to manipulate space, including portal creation. His proficiency is noted to be stronger than his fellow servant, Kayla. He permanently lost the ability after Blackblood’s invasion.
  • Tragic Keepsake: His master’s observatory and magical eyes. He got the latter after his late master, Arvald, swapped his and George’s eyes using the last of his magic as he was dying from being hit by Shannon’s decaying attack. He’d eventually lose the eyes as a result of Blackblood’s invasion.
  • Worf Had the Flu: George would normally be able to save everyone in the Mansion and himself easily. However, the injuries he sustained during Blackblood’s invasion made it harder for him to properly use his powers. This would eventually cause George to be unable to get himself to safety in Kendoria before he got hit by a shockwave from the Mansion bombardment and slammed against a tree head-first, making him lose his magical potential and his magical eyes.
    Kayla Farway
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kayla_farway.png

One of Billy's most loyal servants. She was the last one introduced, and is depicted as being weaker than the other servant, George. However, she was a magic user since birth, with an affinity for spatial and dimensional magic.

  • Affectionate Nickname: "Way", by George.
  • Arch-Enemy: With William Storm, who attacked her old boss, Reston, out of revolutionary zeal. This attack caused Kayla to awaken her magical eyes, allowing her to defeat him. However, he survived and swore revenge since.
  • Foil: To George. Both of them are servants of Billy who are skilled in Magitek, but Kayla was born with magical powers while George was a muggle who acquired them.
  • Hard Work Hardly Works: While Kayla had magical potential since birth, trained with it, and eventually unlocked her magical eyes naturally, she’s considered the weaker of the two servants.
  • Magical Eyes: Like George, Kayla possesses the Eyes of Space, which she awakened naturally during William’s attack.
  • Meido: Dressed like one while employed as a secretary in Reston’s company before being employed by Billy, though her initial tasks before being slowly given responsibility to help with paperworks were to clean up the company’s buildings and sort up items using her power.
  • Relationship Upgrade: With her co-worker George, as they have gotten closer ever since their first day working for Billy.
  • Space Master: Kayla’s magical eyes grant her the ability to manipulate space, including creating portals.
  • Traumatic Superpower Awakening: William’s attack on her old boss’ office and her subsequent battle with him allowed her to awaken her Eyes of Space, empowering her and allowing her to defeat him.
    Chris Manshine
One of Billy's room heads in the mansion. He is a human-like android who leads the Design Room, which is responsible for designing Billy's devices, as well as those of his allies.

  • Gadgeteer Genius: The Mansion's resident technician who builds all the gadgets Billy and his allies need.
  • No Infantile Amnesia: Averted. As an AI with human-like mind, he doesn’t remember his infanthood from the day he’s manufactured.
  • Ridiculously Human Robots: He is an android who basically looks indistinguishable from a human. His mind also resembles the human mind despite being an AI.
    Dr. Fvearniyx Shrnietr
One of Billy's room heads in the mansion. He belongs to an extraterrestrial race of anthropomorphic bird people called the Libers. Specifically, he resembles a phoenix. He serves as the head of the Medical Room, which deals with medical care and resurrection.

  • Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: He is an anthropomorphic phoenix whose job is to resurrect dead tributes.
  • Bird People: He belongs to one.
  • Brought Down to Normal: He used to be able to wield magic. However, an epidemic struck his planet and he got infected during the disaster. The virus destroyed his magical center and pathways, removing his ability to use magic. Eventually, he decided to go on a risky traditional pilgrimage his species has undertaken for years to restore his magical abilities.
  • Child Prodigy: He was a promising magic user as a child before an epidemic claimed his ability to use magic.
  • Face–Monster Turn: He got akumatized by Hawk Moth’s modified akuma while performing an autopsy on Adrien after his season, due to Adrien’s personality change during it. Fortunately, Billy managed to subdue him and bring him back to normal.
  • The Medic: Serves as one to Bily’s team. He started training as one after he lost his magical powers to an infection.
  • Mythical Motifs: The phoenix, which is shown from his appearance and his job as a doctor who’s tasked with bringing back dead tributes.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Dr. Kevin Phoenix, the Head of the Science Center's Necromancy/Medical Department, was quick to point out how similar his name and job are with Fvearniyx's, although Dr. Phoenix is an ordinary human.
    Natalie Smirnoff
One of Billy's room heads in the mansion. She’s a human who serves as the head of the Simulation Room. Her job is to maintain the simulations for training.

  • Disappeared Dad: Her father died during a lab accident involving eldritch creatures, sacrificing his life to prevent further damage.
  • The Prankster: Acts as one during Power's Stand training with Billy, changing the simulation room's parameters to expose their Stands to everyone, even non-Stand Users.
  • Precision F-Strike: Delivered one when she saw Billy’s dead body after it was extracted from the isolated planet.
Natalie: "Is this a fuckin' joke! Please wake up, boss!"
  • Stepford Smiler: Is revealed to be one, adopting her current trickster persona as a way to cope with her father’s death.
  • Trickster Mentor: She tends to train simulator users in the Mansion by tampering with intended settings to introduce unexpected scenarios. However she means well with the alterations.
  • Troll: She sometimes likes to mess with the simulator settings, such as when she simulated Stands during Power’s Stand training to make them visible to everyone, even non-Stand Users.
  • Outgrown Such Silly Superstitions: Averted. She believes in all superstitions and other paranormal concepts since her father died from an invasion of malicious mythical beings.
    Arcturus the Starble
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arcturus_01_2.jpg
Art by Billy 5545
Billy’s pet Starble. He’s a red Starble that ??? found and sent to 6k1 when she was hiding in Ichi's bunker during Villain Month. Since she already had her hands full with Mimi, she decided to give it away to Billy, who adopted and named him.

  • Affectionate Nickname: "Arky" by his childhood friend and crush Mimi.
  • Babysitter Friendship: With Sancaka. They bond over the lost of their parents and similarities in power, to the point Sancaka is trusted to help Arcturus train.
  • Energy Absorption: He possesses the ability to do this and recycle the absorbed energy as his counterattack. However, Blackblood’s invasion showed that it has its limits.
  • Fighting Spirit: Possesses a Stand after he requested one and got stabbed by the Arrow during Power’s Stand training.
  • Parental Abandonment: Both of his parents were murdered by Blackblood’s army because they were resistance fighters.
  • No Infantile Amnesia: He remembers his parents’ death at the hands of Blackblood’s army and his retrieval by ??? even when he just hatched.
  • Pets as a Present: He was sent to a nominator base by ???, whereupon Billy decided to adopt him.
  • Puberty Superpower: As he matures, Arcturus gains a more advanced manipulation of his laser ability, allowing him to fire stronger beams and absorb energy.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Inverted with Mimi. He's a calm and collected red Starble while she's an excitable blue one.
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: As a Starble, he’s just as fuzzy and cute as any member of his species.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: The Savvy Guy to Mimi's Energetic Girl.
  • Stellar Name: Named after the brightest star in the Boötes constellation. It also fits with his fur color, since the star is a red giant.
  • Wave-Motion Gun: An organic version. He can fire powerful lasers from both his own mouth and his Stand.

Tabby's Base

    General
  • Anti-Hero Team: While none of them are as morally good as 6k1, they nonetheless oppose supervillains and other sorts of bad customers.
  • Improbably Female Cast: The underwhelming ratio of 9 girls to 5 boys.

    Tabby Walker
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0109_8.PNG

First CVG appearance: Post 37
First ASAS appearance: Post 17
Headcanon Voice: Peko Pekoyama

A nominator who hails from District 3 and has her own individual goals and morality from the others. She's an engineer and mage who can copy powers from others and leads a group of some of her tributes.

  • AB Negative: The Capitol Hospital staff had a hard time finding the right blood type for her transfusion after her battle in the CORE because hers is Type O-.
  • Abusive Parents: In her backstory, she had parents who isolated her from the outside world and was happy that they died during the Great Destruction.
  • A-Cup Angst: She wished she had Noire's D-Cups and even played with them while making out with her.
  • Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Played With, She starts off like this and then allies with Billy and the other nominators.
  • Alternate Self:
    • She has a Magical Girl counterpart from another timeline. It was her OT self, and she made a contract with Kyubey to become one to fulfill her wish to be accepted among her peers.
    • She also has a more attractive version of herself living in the Delta timeline, whose shadow was made into Noire by Akumo. This Tabby doesn't like Delta Billy because she finds him annoying.
  • Animal Motifs: Cats. Her name is a breed of cat and her power copying makes her a copycat.
  • Anti-Hero: Lacks a lot of heroic qualities and sometimes acts like a jerk when things don't go her way.
  • Author Avatar: Of Tabby Girl 4.
  • Ascended Extra: Had a rather small role in Convergence as she only had a key role in the first Voidlands Arc. Her role in ASAS is much expanded to make her a major recurring character.
  • Badass in Distress: For the Majority of the Legion of Doom Arc after being held captive by Akumo.
  • Bitch Understudy: A nominator who actively plans on overthrowing Snow and the Capitol with the Mew Aqua prototype she has.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Under the influence of Noire's parasite and Nightmare Fuel during the Multiversal War. She even tried to murder Bale but it backfired horribly for her.
  • Brainy Brunette: She has naturally brown hair and brains to go with it.
  • Butch Lesbian: She appears to have an attraction to women and has a masculine appearance.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Mysteriously disappeared after the discussion for the 2nd Voidlands trip and was last seen celebrating Christmas with Noire.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Slowly warms up to the other nominators during the first Voidlands trip.
  • Demonic Possession: During Billy's party in ASAS, she gets temporarily possessed by Akumo and then much later around New Year's Eve, she accepts a deal with Akumo for him to use her body but it backfires.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Tried warding off Noire when she infiltrated Winter's End, only to admire her voluptuous body and make out with her.
  • Do Not Call Me "Paul": Hates being called by her birth name "Nora" because it gives her flashbacks to her abusive childhood.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Absolutely hates it when Morgan or any significant others call her "Tabbitch". She also hates being called Affectionate Nicknames and would rather be called "Tabbitch" over those.
  • Emotionless Girl: Downplayed as she never shows her positive emotions to others besides the nominators and Pecan as she has sacrificed her hope in a spell to create her.
  • First-Name Basis: Her last name is Walker but everyone, even Ally, just calls her Tabby.
  • Forced Transformation: Transformed into a Meowstic upon accidentally going to the Mystery Dungeon World.
  • Foil: To 6k1 as they both wear purple and are into building technology and nominating in the Games. 6k1 is heroic, kind and loved by all while Tabby is antiheroic, rude, and more of an outsider. Also, 6k1 doesn't mind being called by her real name while Tabby hates being addressed as such.
  • Friendly Rivalry: With 6k1 as she sees her as a Worthy Opponent.
  • The Gadfly: She normally teases her enemies for the lulz in ASAS.
  • Gamer Chick: Revealed to be one during Bale's party for her extensive knowledge on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
  • Genius Ditz: Makes a lot of little mistakes with big consequences a lot despite her intelligence.
  • Graceful Loser: While she's disappointed that she hasn't gotten a Hall of Famer for a long time, she accepts her losing streak, patiently waiting for it to end. The losing streak finally ended during S105 when Gumi got 1st Place.
  • Headphones Equal Isolation: Wears headphones to block out distractions and increases focus for her.
  • Height Angst: Is 5' 4" and claims that everyone else around her is tall.
  • Hollywood Tone-Deaf: Her singing voice sounds like scratching fine china with a fork.
  • I Just Want to Be You: The reason of her jealousy of 6k1 as she wishes she could be just as liked as her.
  • Incompatible Orientation: Had some romantic feelings for 6k1 and tried to flirt with her but kind of stopped after she learned she was straight. The other reason she backed off was that 6k1 was much older than her.
  • Involuntary Shapeshifting: Accidentally transformed into 6k1 while trying to power-up her rapier when fighting Porky Minch's army. She presumably got Noire's shapeshifting powers transferred to her after she touched her.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She is a rude and blunt person but she secretly cares for those around her.
  • The Knights Who Say "Squee!": Has looked up to the rest of the nominators her whole life and was ecstatic to become one given her admiration to 6k1.
  • The Leader: Is the one in charge of her group.
  • Make-Out Kids: Ever since hooking up with Noire, she can't stop kissing her in public, much to 6k1's discomfort.
  • Must Have Caffeine: While it's not coffee, Tabby does drink a lot of soda in order to function correctly.
  • Non Conformist Dyed Hair: Has purple tips at the ends of her brown hair and is one of the more rebellious nominators.
  • Power Copying: Her main ability and can also transfer powers to others. The powers she copies are weaker than the original recipient.
  • Purple Is Powerful: She wears purple and knows light and darkness spells.
  • Queer Establishing Moment: Towards the end of CVG, after helping her crew get rid of the Sphere Doomers at her base, Tabby got flattered when Andromeda carried her in her arms, hinting that Tabby's a lesbian.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Pecan's red.
  • Royal Rapier: Her weapon, which she used to spar with 6k1 at Kendor. Subverted since she lacks the class that most rapier wielders have.
  • Rude Hero, Nice Sidekick: The Rude Hero to Pecan's Nice Sidekick.
  • Self-Harm: She used to cut herself when she was 14, and she has been free from it for one-and-a-half years.
  • Screw Yourself: Doesn't mind doing it with a clone of herself and eventually hooked up with Noire, who's a shadow clone of her Alternate Self.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: She really has a bad mouth and goes into swearing fits when she's angry.
  • Spider-Sense: She gets headaches when she senses something dangerous is going to happen.
  • Thinking Up Portals: She can summon portals to go to any universe she wants, but the destination is random.
  • Thinks Like a Romance Novel: She thinks kissing someone to wake them up would work just like in fairytales, much to Parallel Pecan and 6k1's chagrins.
  • Tomboyish Ponytail: She sports a ponytail and is one of the tomboyish nominators.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to 6k1's Girly Girl. Tabby is rebellious and crass, and also likes fighting, while 6k1 likes cute things, is wholesome, and occasionally wears dresses to formal occasions.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Despite her rough exterior, she like a lot of cute things.
  • Unmanly Secret: A Rare Female Example, she secretly listens to future bass.

    Pecan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pecan_by_sugarandspicekat_dcw3kko_pre_4.png

First ASAS appearance: Post 17
Headcanon Voice: Tiff

A 7-year-old girl who is Tabby's cheerful second-in-command who helps her with duties. Wields the Raindancer's Umbrella, a magical artifact which grants her one ability of her choice.

     Dark Pecan/Parallel Pecan

The Dark Counterpart of Pecan who served under Dark Tabby until she realized how wrong she has been treated by her. Now she has fled to the Nominator's side and is now a good ally to Tabby and her base.

Eldraseen and Co.

    Eldraseen/Eredars
Originally known as Eredars until Gamechanger's funeral, when he decided to go back to being called as such, after the events of the Original Timeline, and after being revived from being killed by Carlos' dad in Reboot Season 52, he decided to live inside his underground residence and reinforce it, cutting off his access to all others apart from 6k1 and his own tributes via his tablet.
  • Imaginary Friend: He sees the puppets he created and tells stories to as these.
  • Mad Scientist: He has a secret lab in his bunker.
  • Seen It All: Upon seeing 6k1 hearing that Nimogen has literally backstabbed all of Japan, his response was, "I wish I wasn't jaded to the shit that happens in Panem."
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Retreats back underground after seeing zombies and giant spiders in ths Arena after going up.

    Galis Runkals (Convergence/ASAS Version)
A Highlander Hyur who has found herself dragged into the hijinks that happen in Panem via Eldraseen nominating her.

The Stellar Associates

    Mr. Star
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/creature_9.png

First CVG appearance: Post 1948
First ASAS Appearance: Post 12

One of the nominators, he's the laid-back guardian of a space palace. He belongs to a species of creatures made out of space energy, who spend much of their lives traveling the universe.

  • Animal Motifs: Sea creatures in general, since some of his transport are designed after them. Even his palace looked like a whale before he remodeled it.
  • Beam Spam: Can shoot lasers made of Star Energy from his star antenna.
  • Cool Starship:
    • One of his many transports is the Spacepod, where his tributes from the Kirby Universe travel across universes in. It has a dining room, a library with books from Star Angel Palace, and bedrooms for Magolor's crew and some guests.
    • Another ship of his is the R-Mobile. It's designed after Reimu Hakure, and it can fly through air and space at Super-Speed and shoot energy bullets from its eyes and mouth.
  • Cosmic Motifs: He's a cubic star being who's made of space energy, and a lot of his properties have stars on them.
  • Mellow Fellow: He's a laid-back nominator who wants to know more about the others and is good friends with 6k1.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: His real name is Oggy, but everyone just calls him Mr. Star.
  • Our Angels Are Different: He and his mother resemble Biblical angels, and he hatched from an egg spawned by her.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: He assigned a creature to disguise themself as him and observe the nominators during the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games (Season 100). 6k1 and Power weren't fooled by the costume, which was just a cardboard box painted to look like him.
  • Seen It All: Is so used to massive group tributes he's not as shocked by them as the other nominators.
  • Star Power: His powers come from the Star Energy inside him.
  • Stellar Name: Mr. Star, is well, a star being.
  • Telepathy: He can mentally communicate with other nominators with his antenna.
  • The Watson: Often asks 6k1 questions about what's going on with her life, prompting her to recap recent events.

The Museum

    Hazemaster

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/7254da75_a5ce_43ce_98e4_e4dd1ca1552e.jpeg
Y'know, the Hunger Games are kinda strange: Regardless of your alignment, powers and status, you can kill literally anyone and anything. A trash can can decapitate a god. Family members can brutally murder each other and Omnipotent deities can die by banana peels.

First ASAS appearance: Post 1800
A fun-loving nominator who doesn’t really know what atrocities happened in the games for the most part.

     The Monochromatic Underchomps
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/6d28d007_9a8a_411d_a009_b218c5fed3a6.jpeg
Left to Right: Grayson, Snowflake and Charcoal.
First ASAS Appearance: Post 2602
Dummied Out Monochromatic versions of the Underchomps from Super Paper Mario who serve as Hazemaster's pets.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: They along with the other staff at the Museum are mysteriously absent during Haze's brief return in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200) and Season 269. It's later revealed that they all left when the Museum "rebooted" itself in the latter season.

Cassie and Co.

Webking House

    Nominator Libre
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/clone_libre_hgs.png
Base image made with this picrew, with edits made in Adobe Photoshop CS6.
First ASAS Appearance: Post 5194
The clone of Libre from Tropers: The Series. Lives at Jace's house (the Webking House). His nominator role hides the fact that in-universe, all tributes nominated by his Earth Prime counterpart simply get teleported from their originating works/universes into the Games at random. He feeds off of people's nightmares, and the result of that feeding manifests as tape cassettes.
  • Abstract Eater: He reveals in Scipion's party that he feeds off the nightmares his tributes experience. In actuality he feeds off the fear created as a result of the nightmares; therefore he can also feed off of fear sourced from events that're not nightmares.
  • Came Back Wrong: Zigzagged. Following his death in the third Reboot Nominator Games, he comes back to life with rapidly increased healing and a hunger for fear-based statements to record on tape recorders, essentially becoming an avatar of the Eye. On the other hand, he still retains his mind and body for the most part, and he's capable of speaking again.
  • Clone Degeneration: The cloning machine that made him busted his synth voicebox, rendering him mute until his death and subsequent resurrection in the Third Reboot Nominator Games. This is also why he asks 6k1 later on for stuff needed to make a Data Cloning device.
  • Dream Walker: He can exist in the dreams of other people (and even inanimate objects), observing them as a means of sustaining himself.
  • Fisher Kingdom: Whilst not possessing the equipment needed to protect himself from it, he nonetheless defies it whilst going into the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon World by going through an anti-transformation portal summoned by one of 6k1's scientists.
  • Flight: Capable of flying by ballooning with his web gun, which fires a triangular membrane of web that can be flown away by the wind and the earth's static electric field.
  • Projectile Webbing: He wields a web gun that's capable of firing either roped webbing that act like the ropes and hook of Grappling Hook Pistols, sticky webbing, or a gliding membrane that allows flight.
  • The Speechless: Ended up becoming this during the original Libre's cloning that made him, because the cloning device borked on cloning his synth voicebox. He regains his voice after his death and revival following the Nominator Games, as becoming an avatar of the Eye gives him increased healing which has also affected his voicebox.
  • Transplant: His existence is a subversion, as whilst the original Libre's arrival in the HGS-verse coincides with his absence throught most of the Tropers: The Series episode "The Shaggy Dreadnoughtithicus", he gets cloned so that he can return to Tropesburg, with the clone staying in the HGS-verse.
    Jace Webking & his spiders
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maybe_another_pic_of_jace_2.png
Image made with this picrew
First ASAS Appearance: Post 5187
Servant of the Web, and the one gathering all the tributes "nominated" by Libre in the Games. The tributes he carries to his house with the help of his spiders aren't actually nominated by Libre; they randomly show up in the HGS-verse, all Jace does is gather them into a single location to make it easier to renominate them.
  • Animal Motifs: Spiders, given that he commands them to do alot of work for him.

Jace's Spiders

The spiders Jace Webking commands, which come in various sizes, assist in cataloguing events in the Arena, and do the heavy work of hauling all of Libre's "tributes" to the Webking House after their deaths.
  • Flight: Just like Libre, Jace's spiders can fly by ballooning.
  • Friendly Neighborhood Spider: They're shown to be beneficial to some of the tributes (such as saving Tubbo from falling off the Thunderdrum dragon, or dispelling the fight between the two Arles), and help Jace and Libre in cataloguing the Arena's events and gathering any of their "tributes" after they died or the season ends.

Rose Office

    Flower System
A plural nominator that resides where the Webking House once was, they don't actually nominate for most of the time - rather, they rescue tributes that end up in the Arena and try to get them back to their home world.

General Tropes

  • Brutish Character, Brutish Weapon: The Flower System wield the Piko Piko Hammer ever since they obtained it after it showed up in Reboot Season 201. Riley's significantly more reckless in its usage, more frequently wielding it out and idly spinning it despite the risk of accidentally harming anyone or anything around them.
  • Color-Coded Speech: Both headmates of the system are identified with differing colors in their speech: Cassie's dialogue is rendered in pink, and Riley's dialogue is rendered in purple.
  • Healing Hands: As shown as to what happened to Lily at the base, they can heal and revive others by casting a form of healing magic through their hands.
  • Literal Split Personality: Riley, a headmate in Cassie's body, manifested herself physically thanks to Arena magic when she was chosen as a reserve for the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200). Later on, Stanford built a device that temporarily separated her and Cassie again in preparation for Reboot Season 208's Battle Royale. When Cassie died in the Battle Royale, due to Riley being outside of the Arena at the time, it's Cassie that becomes a headmate in her body.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Of the system's headmates, Cassie is more calm and informal in his speech, whilst Riley is more energetic and is shown to be more empathic in some scenes.
  • Walking Spoiler: They only show up after the Webking House is destroyed, which not only coincides with the deaths of the majority of its residents, but also the demise of Dark Libre and the severance of the The Entities from the world.
  • Working-Class Hero: Compared to other nominators, the Flower System are much less financially well-off, and so any sort of money-wasting activities (such as Bandu constantly buying drones due to his habit of using them wastefully) tends to have a much greater financial negative impact for them. This has gotten worse following the New Sim era, as the new simulator's VR system renders rescuing stray independent tributes moot. Eventually, they take up a business contract offer with W Corp for the chance of better pay, following an incident involving a rogue W Corp worker.

Cassie Chandler

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nom_cassie_pic.png

First ASAS Appearance: Post 7770

Formerly known as Libre, Cassie returns to what remains of the Webking House, for some reason. He's lost a lot of memories after setting off the memory bomb to save the world from the Entities, though it seems that someone that's assisting him has helped him recover it in that regard...

  • Awesomeness by Analysis:
    • Although losing a significant amount of his memories after detonating the memory bomb that it takes a while for him to regain it even when Riley is around, he can sense that whatever those memories are, it's tied to something bad (here, it's related to memories that have inexplicably become an anchor for the Entities to start seeping into reality).
    • He's also quick to deduce from how he's regaining his memories when Riley's around and the behaviour the tributes at his base display when he interacts with Riley that the latter doesn't truly exist as a physical individual.
  • Break Them by Talking:
    • He attempts to gaslight Lily verbally into convincing her that she's the "real" Arle, and that the real Arle isn't. Said attempt fails.
    • He's also attempted to break Riley by telling her she isn't a real person after finding out what she really is, which also fails.
Cassie: I...also apologize over how I tried to break you and all.
Riley: Yeah...that was a bit cruel to say to someone who's a different person.
  • Dark Secret:
    • His very past up to Season 195 is this for him, as he thinks the memories present during that time can act as anchors for the Entities to seep back into the world and put it in danger. As such, when he finds out that Riley posesses a good number of those memories, he tries whatever he could to make sure the Entities aren't drawn to Panem again (after he detonated the memory bomb in Season 195 to sever them from the world).
    • On a lesser note, he tries to hide the fact that the majority of the tributes he rescues show up independently, lying at 6k1 that he nominated Yu & Rei in Season 160 when an event puts their ownership into question, and oppossed Riley's attempt to tell 6k1 about the truth until she successfully sent a message to her.
  • Gender-Blender Name: The male nominator identifies name-wise with the feminine name "Cassie".
  • Malicious Misnaming: Just like Scipion, Cassie has a habit of deliberately misnaming Raven Beak and Dark Stanford in a disdainful tone, contrasting Scipion's crude, profane misnaming with providing more flowery, comical ones.
  • Meaningful Rename: Libre completely lost his memories after surviving the explosion that severed the Entities from the world and went by Cassie from Reboot Season 196 onwards. He quickly regains some memories as by Riley's help, but sticks with going by Cassie regardless because he's In Touch with His Feminine Side.
  • Smoking Is Not Cool: Was livid at Ryoshu violating the anti-smoking policy in Rose Office twice and stood up against her, only to be punched by her for his trouble.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Throughout Reboot Seasons 196-198, Cassie was way more liable to a bad disposition compared to Libre, given that he actively tries to kill Riley at times, and at one point tries to gaslight Lily into making her hate Arle once more.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Following revelations following Riley sending a message to 6k1 regarding the tributes, Cassie warmed up to her, managing to make enough amends that by the time of the Nominator Games (where Cassie originally planned to send Riley to kill her), they joined it on much friendlier terms.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Doesn't mind wearing a skirt and is jealous of Riley's when Stanford separated them in preparation for Reboot Season 208's Battle Royale.

Riley Chandler

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/download20211206222203.png

First ASAS Appearance: Post 7770

A girl who seems to be out to assist Cassie in anything related to the Hunger Games, though quickly revealed to be a Split Personality of Cassie himself, formed from the memories lost from the Webking House residents as an aftermath of Cassie's memory bomb.

  • Barrier Maiden: What she really is, as the remnant memories of those who perished to the Webking House bombing still bore a tie to the Entities in part due to Dark Libre being one of said victims, and so now, she's the one that controls the Entities, ensuring that they remain completely sealed away from Panem.
  • Gollum Made Me Do It: Back when both of them were on less friendly terms during Reboot Seasons 196-198, she encourages to, and does save the lives of some of the tributes that end up in the Games independently (something Libre often does before the Webking House's destruction), much against Cassie's wishes.
  • Ghost Memory: The memories of the dead Webking House tributes ended up coalescing into the individual that is Riley, who proceeded to take residence inside Cassie.
  • Living Memory: She's a sentient mass of the memories of the dead Webking House tributes living as a Split Personality within Cassie.
  • Multi-Gendered Split Personalities: She's a female split personality for Cassie, a male nominator, formed as a result of a bunch of memories from the residents of what was once the Webking House lodging themselves into Cassie's mind. The further specifics of this vary - in Cassie's view, she exists as a separate entity in physical space, whilst to anyone else (such as Lily), it looks like Cassie is doing something to himself (like talking, or self-harm), or experiences noticeably drastic behavioural shifts. There's also both personalities being active at the same time (at least in Cassie's view), and have somewhat independent memories (evident when it's revealed that Cassie distinctly remembered never writing a message to 6k1 about the tributes regarding his status as a nominator).
  • The Nicknamer: At times, refers to other people by a shortened version of their name - such as calling Sericle "Seri", and Cassie "Cass", the latter being the most frequent instance of this attribute.
  • Sensory Overload: Bizarrchitecture is downright painful for her sight, and as such when she climbed up Cutegirl's apartment that was rife with it, she spent most of the time riding upon Joaquin's back and closing her eyes.
  • Sweet Tooth: She likes candies, but not if they're too sweet, like Sei Shonagon's Friend Chocolates.

Tempest Zone

The carefully-crafted appearance-neutral flesh vesselnote
First ASAS appearance: Post 8205

A plural system of ten. They live in Tempest Zone, a pocket dimension which belongs to them and is under their absolute control. Their tributes are conjured from magic and emotions, and subsequently put into the Games to be made "more real".

Collectively:

Arle

First ASAS appearance: Post 8292
Yes, that Arle. Sort of.
  • Adaptational Gender Identity: The original/canon Arle is a (presumably cis) girl, while this Arle is genderfluid.
  • Alternate Self: So accustomed to meeting different Arles from different timelines that they can explain sight unseen how the Arle who died in the explosion of Webking house is both a different and the same person. Considers canon Arle to be a "template" upon which all other Arles, including themself, are based.

Libby

First ASAS appearance: Post 8216
A prissy blonde.
  • Alpha Bitch: Displays her queen bee tendencies very quickly with Ringo — calling her "dweeb" and "geek", ignoring her to paint her nails, and generally being mildly but constantly abrasive on purpose.
"The Smol One": I know you do the Alpha Bitch thing on purpose for funsies, but do you have to be as stereotypical about it as possible?
Libby: It's not as fun if I tone it down.
    • She casually namedrops works as if they're metafictional places instead of actual universes, and was also concerned about "breaking the plot" when she considered using Azem's crystal to rescue all the Altfords from Dark Stanford. G'raha Tia got confused while Vivi Elakha was amused.
  • The Nicknamer: Calls Ringo variations of "math nerd", Stremf of the Earf "rainbow sword", Cassie "cube femboy", and generally doesn't use proper names for anyone except her sysmates. The closest to an exception is when she calls Ringo's apple "apple", which still isn't really a proper name but certainly isn't a nickname either.

"the smol one"

First ASAS appearance: Post 10125
A teenage girl.
  • Bratty Teenage Daughter: Embodies the stereotype by whining about having to stay behind in Tempest Zone for being too young, forcing Libby to act as her "mom" when she escaped to Eastboroughshiressex out of boredom. Susie and Berdlynote  call her a brat, and Libby finds that appropriate.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: She's easily angered whenever people don't understand her, even if she's acting like they should already know what she's talking about. This often prompts Terry to tell her to chill out.
  • Never Given a Name: She only came into existence around Reboot Season 239 and hasn't picked a name yet.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Since she doesn't have a real name yet, she's referred to only by descriptive phrases like "the smol one" or "little hellion". 6k1 and Ally refer to her as "Smol Tempest", since that was her name registered in Season 239.
  • The Unpronouncable: One of her nicknames is "😈", the "smiling face with horns" emoji. How this is intended to be pronounced is unclear, though Frisk just pronounces it as "devilish grin emoji".

Sylvi/Mintleaf

First ASAS appearance: Post 8205
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sylvi_tvt_hgs_597326.png
The catgirl. (Picrew source)

A pink-haired Cat Girl, and the system's primary frontrunner.

  • Animal Motifs: Cats, because she's a Cat Girl. She has nominated several cat tributes in the system's nominator career, including infinite MS Paint clowders of them.
  • I Have Many Names: She also goes by Mintleaf, Katelyn, or "🐱", and she plans to have nine different names for herself.
  • Not a Morning Person: She's bleary-eyed and grumpy when Libby wants to show her the domain-excluding dojo she built at the break of dawn, and complains about Libby being the only member of the system who is a morning person. Which she finds baffling.
How, like physically how, are you the only morning person in this system.
  • Other Me Annoys Me: She finds Meowing extremely annoying, and when warning the other nominators about her, makes an aside comment about always disliking her counterparts.
  • Team Mom: The Smol One considers her as the "mom" of the system.
  • The Unpronounceable: One of her many names is "🐱", the "cat face" emoji. So far, it's only actually been used in the groupchat, where pronunciation isn't a concern anyway.

One of the nominators, an eccentric feline scientist. He spends most of his time in his lab, cloning tributes that he regards as prepared to die in the Games.

    Majel

Image created in Hero Forge

An artificial intelligence based on the Heroine-Bot from Season 265, created by Nine-Tailed Cat to assist around the lab.

  • Benevolent A.I.: She was built with a heroic personality template and is fully loyal to her creator. When left in charge of the lab, she takes the initiative to protect both Nine-Tailed Cat's interests and the other nominators.
  • Electronic Speech Impediment: Due to a glitch, she can't call others by their names, only referring to them with descriptors. The others can still understand her when she calls them, however.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: She's named after Majel Barrett due to her voicing computers throughout various Star Trek series.

    Nought
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nought_heroforge_cropped.png
"If you're not willing to cross a few lines, you shouldn't have called upon me." Image created in Hero Forge

A jackal-demon summoned by Nine-Tailed Cat for assistance against Dark Stanford's forces.

  • Even Evil Has Standards: She may be the embodiment of mortal vices, but she considers herself above making Toilet Humor, like when she was disgusted by Clover farting into Dan Cooper's face to steal his supplies in Season 312.
  • Multiple Reference Pun: Her name and species are a pun on "Jacqueline Nought", a pseudonym used by Jack in Mass Effect, while also referencing how Infinite from Sonic Forces was named "Zero" in the original draft.
  • Playing with Fire: While co-hosting the 5th Reboot Anniversary (Season 293) with Sandy, Nought bragged that her fireballs can do better than the Literal Re-Boot's attempt to blast Farah, Caleb, and Marie-Térèse Charlotte, with only last one dying in the explosion.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Unlike Nine-Tailed Cat and his other assistants, she has little regard for his tributes' well-being and enjoys seeing them suffer. When asked by Cassandra on why she couldn't just teleport all of their new clones to their squads to deploy them, Nought claims that doing so is tedious, and she also believes that letting the troops be deployed "the hard way builds character".

Others

These are the rest of the nominators. However, only those who are in Convergence/ASAS will be covered.

Click here to see him as a Scorbunny (edited official artwork)

First CVG appearance: Post 26
First ASAS appearance: Post 427

A nominator who lives in the Rushing Beat Universe and watches the seasons with some of the residents there. Very few people know about him since he shapeshifts into his alter egos Platinum the Fox and Ugo or into a Scorbunny whenever he goes to the Arena, and he barely interacts with them outside it. He has since befriended 6k1 starting in Reboot Season 152 and has started getting to know the other nominators outside the Arena, along with their allies, in the ZDR Mission.

Tropes Applying to CAC Himself

  • Absurd Phobia: Anything related to Tetris, after being crushed by a block and getting the 4th Place Curse in the 1st Reboot Nominator Games (Season 50). He struggles with getting over his fear even long after the event, only taking until Blood Moon infects several rescuers on ZDR for him to realize how irrational his "Tetriphobia" is.
  • Alternate Self: An identical version of him once presented as Ugo in the Survivor Multiverse, long before the original presented as him in Reboot Season 123. He also has a Distaff Counterpart that showed up in Reboot Season 193.
  • Animal Motifs: Foxes are his favorite animals, and he is unashamed of showing his love for them.
    • He roots for any non-villainous fox or vaguely foxlike tribute such as the Eeveelutions, even shapeshifting into Platinum to support them. However, he only does this in private because he finds it weird to transform in front of them, since he didn't reveal his true form to Lucky Swiftail when he took him to the Database Library after Reboot Season 216. While CAC eventually admitted to this unusual quirk of his in the 5th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 250), he didn't demonstrate it to the other nominators because he realized how that might weird out the Fennekin line, who were his reserves that season. He also doesn't do this for every fox/foxlike tribute to avoid repetition, and he doesn't shapeshift when seriously distressed.
    • He appreciated 6k1's first Christmas gift for him, a Tails figurine, and has taken a liking to hug it whenever a fox/foxlike tribute, especially Tails himself, shows up.
  • Ascended Extra: He eventually went from simply occasionally commenting on seasons to actually communicating with fellow Nominators. However, he usually only shows up in the Arena either for the Nominator Games or whenever he feels like, and outside of seasons, he only visits the Library occasionally after 6k1 befriended him, usually at her request.
  • The Atoner: After being called out by 6k1 and his Rushing Beat friends for his extremism against all villains, he's trying his best to let go of that mindset, starting with sparing Mr. L in Season 277 because CAC knew that he was just a Brainwashed and Crazy Paper Luigi. The following season, he also let go of his longstanding grudge against Yamato Kisaragi for outing his shapeshifting in Season 123, even data cloning him for that season (S278). However, he still doubts if he has truly changed because Asriel doesn't believe him, and he sometimes contemplates suicide for this, following his nightmare about it. CAC also asked 6k1 if she still viewed him as a monster even if she befriended him.
6k1: I'll be honest with you. If I genuinely saw you as a Complete Monster, then I would not have tried befriending you at all.
  • Bystander Syndrome: For all his hatred towards villains, he never went out to actually fight them until the Voidlands Metroid destroyed Eye-Sicle's lair and threatened to obliterate Panem if no one did anything to stop it. Following 6k1's warning about Dark Stanford, this made him feel guilty of not stepping up sooner, so he equipped his allies with Hard Light swords and went out to team up with the heroes for the first time.
  • Color-Coded Emotions: Very rarely does he ever use colors in his speech, even while transformednote . Instead, he only uses them to show strong emotions such as happiness, anger, or sadness. He's the only nominator to date to do this.
  • Closet Key: Him coming out as aro/ace in the 5th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 250) unwittingly caused 6k1 to question her own sexuality, and she eventually came out to Princess Cadance as a questioning a-spec nominator the following day.
  • Death Amnesia: Becomes a ghost in the Arena after he dies, but doesn't recall the experience until he respawns in his base.
  • Doesn't Trust Those Guys: He doesn't trust straight/cisgender/allosexual people, believing that all of them are prejudiced against LGBT+ people because before he became a nominator, he was physically assaulted by a homophobe, who assumed he was gay for not being attracted to women, and nearly died in the hospital. He makes an exception for heteroromantic aces, aromantic heterosexuals, straight trans people, and non-LGBT+ people who he knows aren't prejudiced. Because he already trusts 6k1 before she herself came out as a-spec, it's implied that he has no issues with her adoptive parents, Asgore and Toriel, either, due to their association with her and Asriel, the latter who is a tribute 6k1 and CAC both nominated at some point in the Games.
  • Emoticon: While other nominators use emotes when texting, CAC is the only one to use them in his dialogue.
  • Go Mad from the Revelation: His shapeshifting was outed by Yamato in Season 123, and he went insane for the rest of the season.
  • Good Is Not Soft: Even after letting go of his extreme views against villains, the heroic CAC will still show no mercy to them, especially Dark Stanford.
  • Good Shapeshifting, Evil Shapeshifting: Despite all his alternate forms so far looking heroic, he was afraid of being seen while transforming because he believed people might see him as evil just because some villains are shapeshifters.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: He made sweeping assumptions of villains just because they're evil, regardless of their potential for redemption or if they're secretly good inside, but after ultimately being called out for it, he deeply regretted it.
  • Ineffectual Death Threats: For all his hatred towards villains, even Scipion, his death threats are almost never heard by them and he never follows through with them, not even going out of his way to permanently kill them even if he wishes it on them. However, Asriel was implied to have seen this for himself in the OT when he was nominated by him; thinking that CAC would go that far, Asriel had a nightmare about being timewrecked by him after his traumatic experience in Reboot Season 220. As a result, Asriel refuses to believe that CAC has changed for the better despite his Rushing Beat friends' testimonies.
  • Irony: Despite realizing how much he has in common with 6k1 such as their similar appearances and both of them being autistic, CAC was unaware that 6k1 is questioning if she is asexual like him, despite her coincidentally wearing the same colors as the ace flag and being nervous around him when he himself came out in the 5th Reboot Nominator Games. 6k1 believed that this was because he had other things to deal with at the time like Scipion's rudeness before the season began, and she was secretly relieved that CAC didn't suspect anything about her so far. He also didn't immediately see the connection when 6k1 nominated Maude, an ace rabbit, for Season 269, to celebrate International Ace Day early, and only realized it around halfway through the season when he saw an exact AU copy of 6k1 herself wearing her aro/ace rings among the Massive Group Tributes.
  • Light 'em Up: He can conjure up any tool or weapon using light energy, even as Ugo or Platinum. He can even summon Hard Light copies of his weapons and give them to his allies, and also shoot crescent-shaped Sword Beams.
  • Limited Social Circle: The only tributes he regularly hangs out with are his Rushing Beat friends, who are also his housemates, and out of all the nominators, 6k1 is his Only Friend.
  • Local Reference: Hails from Brazil, but unlike 6k1, who's an immigrant from the Earth Prime version of the Philippines, he did not come from its version of Brazil. Instead, his EP counterpart was somehow dragged into the same troper mob as 9k1note  by Ego to pummel Dawn into a bloody pulp in Reboot Season 148.
  • Mirror Character: To 6k1, as they're both black-haired, bespectacled, autistic, and aroace nominators who mostly wear white and have nominated Asriel at one point. However, CAC was an extreme vigilante who used to nominate villains just to see them die or win a Pyrrhic Victory, while 6k1 is a righteous nominator who used to avoid nominating villains until she developed her policy on how to safely do so and punish them for their crimes. CAC also used to believe that all villains must be punished regardless of their potential for redemption until his Rushing Beat friends and 6k1 called him out for it, while 6k1 herself believes that some villains, including heroes who turn evil in the Arena, can be redeemed unless they prove otherwise. In the end, both of them will only resort to extreme punishment if the villain is proven to be Beyond Redemption.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Fire Eyes remarks that CAC's old extremism against all villains makes him no different from a Mawkin, a race of mighty bird warriors who immediately attack anyone they see as a threat. The only difference is that CAC never actually applied his beliefs anywhere, other than emotionally harming Asriel indirectly through his words.
  • Ocular Gushers: 6k1 finds it odd that an Earth Primer like CAC manages to cry waterfalls when extremely sad because she thought that he should cry realistically like her.
  • Offscreen Breakup: With Lavos, the One Being, and Kazuma Kiryu after Reboot Season 2. He still holds a grudge against Lavos for being a nonsapient monsternote  and One Being for being a Mad God, but he was fine with Kiryu even if he had to break up with him since CAC is aroace.
  • Our Nudity Is Different: Was initially embarrassed about somehow losing his clothes when all the clothes from an alternate Earth Prime were destroyed by Goggles in Reboot Season 98, but doesn't mind going as an Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal as Platinum or a Scorbunny because they have nothing to show. However, he still felt conscious about his body when he went without his accessories as Platinum in Season 259.
  • Overly-Nervous Flop Sweat: He often "Sweat Drops" when embarrassed.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Believed that villains should be killed for their crimes, and that heroes sparing them are contributing to the problem. He also used to nominate villains just to see them die or win a Pyrrhic Victory, with Photoshop Flowey being an exception since CAC believed that he was "not evil" because he's actually Asriel, though Flowey believed that he was nominated with Sans in OT Season 60 so he could turn against the skeleton. However, CAC went too far when he wished that Asriel be timewrecked for murdering Asgore in Season 220, but thankfully, CAC was called out for it by his Rushing Beat friends. He eventually fully realized how dangerous his Knight Templar-esque line of thinking was when 6k1's "The Reason You Suck" Speech caused him to have a Heel Realization.
  • Pet the Dog: For all his extreme hatred against villains, he was quick to reprimand Lucky for stealing a book from the Library in Season 216, if only because he's normally a sweet, innocent fox child.
  • Queer Colors: He waved his aromantic and asexual Pride flags just before the 5th Reboot Nominator Games.
  • Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: Roots against sex offenders because he's against sexual harassment, no matter what gender the victim or the perpetrator is.
  • Recurring Extra: Occasionally comments on the seasons but never interacts with the other nominators. Billy tried contacting him once, but he never responded, but he eventually befriended 6k1 after the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games.
  • Secret Identity: Because he only shapeshifted in private, only allowing his Rushing Beat friends to see him transform, he was sensitive about others finding out about his alter egos. He was distraught when Yamato outed him in Season 123, but 6k1 advised him not to be ashamed of his ability. He has long broken out of this when he publicly transformed into Ugo shortly before Season 277's start, but he still doesn't let other foxes see him turn into Platinum just to root for them.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Him nominating Photoshop Flowey in OT Season 60 and his true form Asriel in OT Season 78 would eventually give the latter nightmares about being timewrecked by the nominator after everything he suffered through after reuniting with 6k1. Asriel was implied to have seen CAC's extreme vigilantism for himself in the OT as Flowey and was afraid of being timewrecked as punishment for murdering his father Asgore in Season 220.
  • Supernatural Angst: Was reluctant to show off his shapeshifting ability to anyone but his Rushing Beat friends because he associates it with villains. He's learning to be more open about it after 6k1 told him that there's nothing inherently wrong with shapeshifting by itself.
  • Symbol Swearing: The only character so far to have his swearing censored, with asterisks, despite any other swears in his player's narration being uncensored.
  • Sympathy for the Devil: He used to hate Scipion for being a Foul Fox, but quickly came around upon hearing that Dark Stanford committed worse crimes than him, although he still doesn't trust him. He even cried out to Scipion when the latter got assimilated by Blood Moon.
  • Technically Naked Shapeshifter: He instantly produces new clothes and/or accessories when he changes form, with his old clothes reappearing when he changes back. He can also choose to retain his default attire when changing form. Despite this, he prefers manually changing to his swimming trunks in private.
  • Thinking Up Portals: He can summon portals to go the Arena.
  • Transformation Exhilaration: Among his alternate forms, Platinum is his favorite because he's a fox.
  • Two Aliases, One Character: 6k1 thought that Platinum and Ugo were his Alternate Selves until Yamato outed him in Season 123. She still wondered how CAC and Platinum managed to coexist in Reboot Season 50, however, guessing that he somehow cloned himself for it. CAC then confirmed that the latter was actually his Alternate Self from the Survivor Multiverse.
  • Unexplained Recovery: Inexplicably respawns in the Rushing Beat Universe whenever he dies in the Arena, instantly cured of whatever afflictions, good or bad, he got from there. However, it doesn't work outside the Arena, making his friends' fears of him being Driven to Suicide out of guilt from indirectly giving Asriel a nightmare not unfounded.
  • Unknown Rival: Hated Yamato for outing his shapeshifting in Reboot Season 123, though Yamato himself is unaware of this. However, CAC is learning to let go of his grudge after 6k1 encouraged him not to be ashamed of his power, to the point that he data cloned Yamato for the 7th OT Anniversary (Season 278).
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Takes the form of Platinum, Ugo, or a bespectacled Scorbunny whenever he participates in the Games. He can also change the shape of his glasses or make them disappear to complete the disguise. He can shapeshift into a female version of himself, but he's not comfortable with it because it's like crossdressing for him, only doing it when necessary, like when he, as Platinum, transformed into a Magical Girl to kill Inspector Cabanela in Season 259.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Besides Tetris blocks, he's also afraid of vicious dogs, but he'd rather be near Tetris blocks than be bitten by those animals.
  • Wouldn't Hit a Girl: Is against misogyny but will only hit women out of self-defense or if they're evil.

Tropes Applying to His Alternate Forms

  • Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: He only wears round glasses or a blue cap, a scarf, gloves, and shoes whenever he becomes a Scorbunny or Platinum, respectively.
  • Death by Irony: As a Scorbunny, he was killed with a fiery punch by Plasma Man 2000 in the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games (Season 150).
  • Expressive Ears: As Platinum, his ears drop when distressed.
  • Furry Reminder: Platinum exhibits a lot of fox traits despite his anthropomorphism. One time, a dog sniffed his butt when he was wandering outside the Arena because foxes are canids.]] CAC would rather not bring that up again. He also tucks his tail between his legs when he's scared, while he has Super-Hearing.
  • Hates Being Called Cute: He doesn't like it when the others call his Scorbunny form "cute", to the point that he'd threaten to kill them for it. However, he's doing his best to tolerate it after his Rushing Beat friends and 6k1 called him out for his extreme vigilantism/Berserk Button tendencies.
  • Required Secondary Powers: Platinum is the only alter ego so far to not wear glasses because he has normal vision. CAC didn't feel the need to extend this to his other forms because he doesn't mind needing to wear glasses, and he kept Platinum's perfect vision because he's his favorite form.
  • Second Super-Identity: Platinum was his only alter ego for a long time until he decided to create Ugo for Season 123 and his Scorbunny form for the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games.
  • Super-Speed: Platinum has the same speed as Sonic, simply because he's an alt form based on a Sonic character.

    Detective Gamechanger
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gamechanger_2.png

First CVG appearance: Post 4464 (pre-split), Post 54 (post-split)

A detective from a futuristic Earth who investigates the unusual happenings in Panem. He's Arch-Enemies with Scipion.

  • Arch-Enemy: With Scipion, to the point that he's willing to let him and his allies join the Legion of Doom.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: He's an eccentric nominator who tends to nominate the more outlandish tributes like the Fourth Wall itself. However, he wouldn't go as far as to nominate large populations, which Timewrecker does.
  • Crazy-Prepared: His base has tons of security measures, and he always inspects his deliveries before opening them.
  • Enemy Mine: Temporarily worked together with Valecor to defeat Scipion, helping to build the former's lair in exchange for it.
  • Fisher Kingdom: Since he didn't transform into a Pokémon when he went to the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon World to recruit Grovyle, Dusknoir, and Cresselia in preparation to fight Valecor, GC presumably defied this trope with his tech.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: He prefers fighting with his own tech than receiving superpowers. In fact, it's easy for him to create gadgets more advanced than the others because the materials that are expensive in the real world are cheap in his homeland.
  • Hero Academy: Has an outdoor school that teaches tributes how to be heroes.
  • Killed Off for Real: Was unable to escape the Voidlands when it collapsed, causing his body to be distorted beyond recognition. All of his Arena appearances after his death are presumably identical alts or clones of himself.
  • Power Limiter: His mask keeps his full powers in check.
  • Respawn Point: Respawns to his healing chamber in his base whenever he dies. However, it can't heal Voidlands injuries.
  • Smart People Build Robots: As one of the more intelligent nominators, he asked 6k1 permission to download the Database's data into a robot to nominate it for Reboot Season 54, who would then become her robot assistant Ally.
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill: Firmly believes in the right to a fair trial, so he wants to have Timewrecker arrested and given his due punishment despite all the atrocities the latter committed.

    Elliot
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/elliot_8.png

First CVG appearance: Post 394
First ASAS appearance: Post 13

Elliot is a kindhearted catshape creation god from another multiverse. He found the multiverse while, supposedly, dicking around in his own and flopping over here on accident before being swept in the war after trying to go back home and taking the Voidlands instead. There are two versions of him after having been split back in Season 52.

Tropes that apply to both Elliots

  • Affectionate Nickname: Both given by Daisy. Elliot 1.0 is called "Elly" and Elliot 2.0 "Ellytoo".
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Elliot was abused by his father at a young age, to the point where he tried to kill himself over it and the fact that his mother and sister were killed by said abuser. Today, he suffers from (mild) Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and doesn't expect to ever get rid of it completely.
  • Divergent Character Evolution: After Elliot split into two versions of himself, they developed different personalities.
  • Good Feels Good: One of Elliot's favorite sights is a good person being happy because of his own actions.
  • Nervous Wreck: Having a combination of High-Functioning Autism and PTSD doesn't exactly do his composure wonders, especially now that his family's gone.
  • Sex Shifter: Elliot has the ability to switch between male and female at will through his shape-shifting powers, as and can apparently be both and neither. 1.0 rarely utilizes this.

A nominator who spends most of his time in his underground bunker, nominating his tributes and watching them fight. He's close friends with Power Stroke and 6k1, especially the former after the 1st Reboot Nominator Games (Season 50), and also Psyche's adoptive older brother.

  • Actually a Doombot: Whenever he shows up in the Arena when he's not a tribute, like when he fought the Elite Beat Agents in Reboot Season 113, it's actually an android version of him, which he made in light of tribute-nominator events happening more frequently. He also nominated one of his androids for the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200) and watched the Games through its eyes with a body cam for immersion.
  • Affectionate Gesture to the Head:
    • He likes petting Power's mane, and he'll still pet her even if she changes forms, like when she swapped bodies with Ralsei during June's cheer-up party for Stanford.
    • He also likes being petted by Power, but not so much she goes on for too long.
"Ya'll wanna pet something so forking badly, the hungry hungry fuzzball's right there."
  • Affectionate Nickname: Besides "Ich" for him, Power has also taken a liking to call his android clone "Andichi" or "Andich".
  • Arch-Enemy: With Scipion, since Ichi does not put up with his dickery at all. He also questions why 6k1 still tolerates him despite his atrocities. However, after Power called Ichi out for having an angry outburst at Scipion for his insincere eulogy to Android Ichi during the 5th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 250), Ichi decides to try his best to tolerate Scipion if he must interact with him.
  • Berserk Button: Missing the nomination period, watching his tributes (including himself or his android during the Nominator Games) die early and/or unceremoniously, or having a long losing streak will have him saying "fork" the loudest. The last one wears on his nerves the most, but he still sticks around with Psyche and Power's words of encouragement.
  • Bookworm: Isnote  revealed to be one when President Snow tried getting him into reading in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200). Data Power overheard him and went to the bookstore to buy him a gift, which turned out to be a hardbound, laminated Reylo (Rey and Kylo Ren/Ben Solo) fanfic. The real Power then got him a copy as a late Hearts and Hooves Day gift after realizing she forgot to retrieve her clone's copy of it.
  • Bullying a Dragon: As much as he hates Scipion, he can't help but have some choice words for him during the Nominator Games:
  • Character Catchphrase:
  • Character Development:
    • While mostly offscreen, he learned to be adaptable to change. At first, he was unsure of Paylor planning to replace the Hunger Games with a Simulator, but after Dave pioneered the usage of data clones, he rolled with them, even deciding to deploy one of his android clones starting in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games and experience the season through a body cam. Since then, Ichi has taken any major change to the Games in stride and assures 6k1 and Power not to be so resistant or fearful of it.
    • He's also trying his best to control his anger whenever his luck dips in the Games by looking on the bright side regarding his tributes' performances, with Power and Psyche helping him calm down and reminding him not to take it so seriously. It's gotten to the point where he reminds Power herself not to be so disappointed when 6k1's luck dips as well.
  • Clones Are People, Too: It's implied that he sees clones as equal to the originals because he was distraught at Pointy's death to Miko Mitama in Reboot Season 60, as if the real the Power died. This is why he doesn't mind data clonesnote  and draws the line at nominating babies or one's own family members, even if they're cloned. For him, a clone win is still a win while it still feels messed up for him to nominate those tributes even with cloning.
  • Competition Freak: Mainly nominates his tributes in hopes that they make the Hall of Fame and used to be unsatisfied with just one qualifier for the next Battle Royale/Death Battle.
  • Cool Big Bro: He's this to his adoptive little sister Psyche, always looking out for her.
  • Crazy-Prepared: Besides making his phone work in any universe, he made it waterproof, and he always brings his weapons with him for self-defense. He's also amazed by 6k1's "Batman-levels" of preparedness, and he was going to leave an android clone of himself in his stead for her, in case she needed him to upgrade Ally if he and Power went to Bale's Christmas party.
  • Cuddle Bug: He likes showing his affections for Power by hugging and petting her, and also likes cuddling Psyche when she's a Skitty.
  • Damned by Faint Praise: His android clone received one from Matthew L. Mayfield in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games and snarked that he should've been honest with him.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Tends to make sarcastic remarks about the more outlandish things going on around him, even if he's used to the weirdness that happens in the Arena.
  • Deceptively Human Robot: Ichi's android clones are just as humanlike as he is. In fact, Power compared them to Andrew.
  • Determined Defeatist: No matter how frustrated he gets when his luck in the Games dips significantly, he still tries his best not to miss the nomination period, though he once decided to sit out from Reboot Season 3 to give another nominator a chance.
  • Elaborate Underground Base: He lives in an underground bunker, which contains laboratories, a computer room, an armory, a teleporter room, a training room, a garage housing an assortment of vehicles, a rec room, and a VR room, among others. He also has robot servants that help run the place.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Believes that nominating babies or one's own family members is going too far, even with data cloning.
  • Fatal Flaw: Besides his occasional outbursts regarding his luck in the Games, his preference to stay hidden in his bunker and away from danger did more harm than good to his friends, especially Power. As a result, Blood Moon, an insane, bloodthirsty, proud Mawkin warrior, believes that Ichi hiding in his bunker is an act of cowardice instead of safety. However, Ichi blames himself for the trouble he caused with his inaction and is making an effort to protect his allies the best he can.
    • He deeply regretted staying holed up in his bunker after the Great Destruction since he didn't realize that the other nominators such as her and 6k1 were reeling from the trauma.
    • While he was willing to shelter 6k1, her assistants, and Power in his bunker during Villain Month, he initially refused to accommodate Power's large family when they were threatened by Dark Stanford, all because Ichi didn't want them making a mess there. This prompted Light Stanford to hide them away with the Altfords in Belissima, only for Blood Moon, disguised as Kelby, to infiltrate her realm and force Fair Trial to convince everyone to stay, no matter what they did, for Dark Stanford's greater plan. This made Ichi realize that he should've let Power's family stay with the two of them at the bunker in the first place.
  • Fisher Kingdom: Like 6k1, he can defy this with his tech, which is why he doesn't transform into a pony or any sapient Equestrian race every time he visits Power.
  • Foil:
    • To Power: Ichi's a tech user who's difficult to faze while Power's a magic user who worries a lot. And while they both hate Snow, he just wants to see him dead for good while she likes seeing him being beaten up by the tributes. They also try to avoid fights whenever possible, but he's more willing to fight back than Power.
    • To 6k1: While they're both good with tech, Ichi mostly stays home to watch the Games while 6k1 often goes on adventures outside her job. He also blows up whenever his tributes die early or unceremoniously while she takes her losses in stride. On the other hand, Ichi has learned to take any major changes to the Games in stride while 6k1 struggles with it, although she tries her best to accept it.
  • Friendship Trinket: Power gifted him an aquamarine ring set with her cutie mark after confessing their platonic love for each other. It's to remind him of her even if they're apart. In return, the Heart Locket on Power's Asriel costume, which Ichi gave to her as a Hearth's Warming gift, has the phrase "Always With You" as its custom engraving.
  • Full-Name Ultimatum: If Power, who normally puts up with his bouts of frustration and tries her best to calm him down, yells, "Ichigo, listen to me...", it means that she's seriously upset with him.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Besides watching the Games, he spends his time in the Tech Lab creating all sorts of gadgets for his nominator friends, especially 6k1. He also carries with him an arsenal of weapons whenever he goes out, just in case trouble happens.
  • Genre Savvy: Is aware of what the Arena does to his mind, and realized that he was carrying the Idiot Ball when he failed to heed CAC's warning of Scipion in the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games.
  • Got Me Doing It: Power's puns are so infectious, even Ichi got in on making them, too.
Ichi: C'mon, Pow-Pow, shock us with whatever Electro-themed pun ya got charged up in your brain.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: His angry outbursts are often an obstacle in his friendship with Power since they set off her anxiety, but while they're intense, he doesn't become violent and quickly cools off when he cuddles her. This reminds her of her father, Fair Trial, who is scary when he's mad but well-meaning in the end.
Ichi: You ain't gotta worry about me going all Hulk and smashing up stuff.
  • Hates Being Touched: Downplayed, since while he likes Power hugging or petting him, he tells her to let go if she does either for too long.
  • Held Gaze: Platonic example: Power often looks him in the eye when she's being serious with him or when they're being emotionally intimate with each other.
  • Heroic BSoD: After learning just how traumatic the Great Destruction had been for 6k1 and Power, he was left feeling racked with sorrow and guilt over his decision to stay holed up in his bunker during that time instead of reaching out to not only them, but anyone else left reeling in the timeline-destroying catastrophe's wake. Fortunately, this prompted Power to visit his base in order to personally console him.
  • Heroic Neutral: Most of the time, he ignores any serious threat that's going on in Panem because he wants nothing to do with them, but he'll step up to help his friends if they need him, usually by giving them useful items for their quests. He also prefers staying alone, but is happy to go out whenever Power invites him.
  • Hidden Depths:
    • Is good at bowling to the point that he killed Crimson Gale, Constantine, and Cel with a bowling ball in the 1st Reboot Nominator Games. After reconciling with Power over it, he took her out to the bowling alley in Season 55 to teach her how to play.
    • He occasionally makes meme references, much to 6k1's amusement.
"...it's time to attack the weak point for massive damage!"
    • He low-key ships Reylo, since he appreciated Psyche's shipfic about them, which was her late Christmas gift for him.
  • Honorary Uncle: Mimi has started calling him "Uncle Ichi" after her "Uncle" Dave didn't show up for the 5th Reboot Nominator Games. Power's nephew Wild Pepper has also taken a liking to call him "Uncoo Ee-Ee" because Ichi enjoyed playing with him at the bunker.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: He's roughly twice as tall as his best friend Power, so he usually kneels in order to hug her.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Jokingly complained about Power and Ralsei's affections for each other despite his own affections for Power.
"Aw, now if y'all keep acting this sweet and hugging each other so much, I might just end up going home with a case of diabeetus."
  • Informal Eulogy: Contrasting Dave's elaborate, heartfelt eulogy to Detective Gamechanger, Ichi gave a short, curt one since they weren't that close.
"You were an odd fellow, GC, and I didn't know you personally, but... the world's gonna be a helluva lot different without ya. May you enjoy whatever afterlife you wound up in."
  • In-Series Nickname: His friends, especially Power, just call him "Ichi" or "Ich".
  • Interspecies Friendship: He's a human whose best friend is a unicorn.
  • Interspecies Romance: Defied with Power despite his affections for her, as he finds the thought of hooking up with a pony weird, regardless of sapience.
  • Knight in Sour Armor: Even if he hates villains and would rather stay away from them, he'll step in to protect his friends, especially Power, if they come their way.
  • Knockout Gas: Tried feeding Skullcrawler!Bale a knockout gas grenade to sedate him, but it didn't have any effect.
    "Shoulda brought bigger gas grenades..."
  • Limited Social Circle: While he's willing to talk to other nominators when he needs to or feels like, his only closest friends are 6k1, Power, and Psyche.
  • Loner-Turned-Friend: For most of his tenure as a nominator, he stayed holed up in his bunker nominating tributes until he decided to go out and be involved in whatever is going on outside the Arena after the 1st Reboot Nominator Games. The first thing he did after that season was ask Power for forgiveness over his murder of Gale, and they became best friends ever since.
  • Meaningful Gift: He has given more gifts to Power than to anyone else he has met, most of them costumes of his favorite tributes, showing how much he loves her as a best friend. He also didn't give 6k1 Christmas gifts in EP 2019 because he believed that her seeing her other friends happy during the holiday was the only gift she wanted for it.
  • Mistaken for Romance: He and Power are so affectionate with each other Dave and Bale thought they were a couple when they visited them at the Recovery Room after the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games. 6k1 had to clarify it to them, and Ichi himself even had to tell them that he wouldn't hook up with a pony.
"Seriously, I'm a human and she's a pony, that'd just be fifty shades of forked up."
  • Muggle Best Friend: To Power, as he's the everyman who keeps her grounded and gives her advice whenever she talks to him.
  • Nice Guy: Like Bale, he sometimes nominates villains, but he's still a good friend to the other nominators, especially 6k1 and Power. And despite his temper, he'd never blow up or be violent at Power if they fight, and instead would leave the room to protect her from his fits of rage, though he sometimes snaps at other things that set him off right in front of her, distressing her.
  • The Nicknamer: Tends to give his friends Affectionate Nicknames like "Pow-Pow" for Powernote  and "Lil' Gandalf" for Ralsei, and his enemies insulting ones like "Evil Santa" and "Snowball" for President Snow and "Timewanker" for Timewrecker.
  • Off the Grid: He lives in a heavily fortified underground bunker with only a few contacts, explaining why Snow didn't hunt him down when he didn't attend his mandatory party. It's so well-hidden that most villains couldn't find him, since that didn't stop those with highly advanced technology such as Timewrecker from locating anyone inside, such as Ally when it went into hiding there during Villain Month, and remotely killing them.
  • One-Steve Limit: Averted, since he shares his first name with Ichigo Momomiya. Power had to call him "Mr. Montoya" during Bale's party since Momomiya was also there.
  • Past-Life Memories: Of the Original Timeline. He usually reminds 6k1 and Power that he doesn't need to be reminded of the events in the OT seasons as he still remembers them.
  • Pen Pals: He occasionally emails and texts 6k1.
  • Platonic Declaration of Love: Confessed to Power that he loves her platonically, reassuring her that their relationship is perfect the way it is, and there's nothing wrong with being physically affectionate with each other even if they don't feel "that way".
"I do love ya, Power. It ain't the kind o' love they think we have, but I do love ya."
  • Platonic Life-Partners: With Power, ever since reconciling with her over him killing Gale with a bowling ball in the 1st Reboot Nominator Games. They often hang out together, and she even roots for his tributes, whether or not they watch the seasons together. They also check on each other's feelings, and when one of them breaks down, the other almost always comes over to comfort them. Even Psyche acknowledged how unbreakable their bond is, and she was deeply sorry for killing Ichi in the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games.
Psyche: You're really good together. As friends, I mean. And if there's one thing Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung have shown us all those seasons ago, it's that a powerful friendship never dies, no matter what.
  • Plot-Triggering Death: His death to Psyche in the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games gave her and Power so much grief throughout the season.
  • Preemptive Apology: Always apologizes in advance in case he or his tributes end up killing 6k1, her tributes, or Power, though he once got paranoid of 6k1 coming for him if Carnage killed Ally in Reboot Season 54, even if the latter wasn't her tribute at the time.
  • Ray Gun: In addition to his other weapons, he carries with him a laser pistol, which he used to try knocking the dark crystal off Skullcrawler!Bale's back.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: A manly man who usually nominates villains and "badass" tributes, but has a soft spot for Ridiculously Cute Critters such as Power, Ralsei, Mimi, Dupe, Psyche in her Skitty form, and 6k1 in her Mudkip form. He also makes costumes for Power regularly, which is traditionally seen as feminine.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Before the 5th Reboot Nominator Games, his android duplicate roasted Scipion, Lamar Davis-style, for being such a raging Jerkass when his nasty attitude reached Politically Incorrect Villain levels and he uttered the r-word.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: Can still recall rewinded seasons, but for some reason not the time rewind that happened in Reboot Season 109, which was beyond the Gamemakers' control.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: The Savvy Guy to Power's Energetic Girl.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: Between Power's closest male friends, he's the Manly Man to Ralsei's Sensitive Guy.
  • Shipper on Deck: Some of his tributes he nominates are his favorite couples like Maiko (Mai and Zuko) and the aforementioned Reylo.
  • Sibling Murder: Was bludgeoned with a Tetris block over an argument about it by Psyche in the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games and she deeply regretted it.
  • Sickeningly Sweethearts: Rare platonic example. According to 6k1, he and Power are so affectionate with each other they could beat Asgore and Toriel in the Underground's annual Nose Nuzzling Competition.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: He doesn't exactly have the cleanest mouth among the nominators, but most of the time he makes Good Place-style minced oaths. When he actually swears, things usually go downhill from there.
  • Skewed Priorities: He's more concerned about seasons being delayed than whatever dangers are looming over Panem, even the Multiversal War.
  • Sore Loser: Gets frustrated whenever his tributes die early or unceremoniously, believing that the Games are rigged against him, although he's learning to mellow out from this thanks to Power and Psyche's encouragement.
  • Sour Supporter: He's one of the more pessimistic nominators in regards to his luck with the Games or dealing with villains, but is otherwise supportive of his friends.
  • Speaks in Shout-Outs: He often quotes his favorite works when talking to others.
  • The Stoic: He doesn't get emotional as often as Power or the other nominators and denies "having the emotional range of a teaspoon." There are some rare moments where he expresses himself more visibly.
  • Sucks at Dancing: He sometimes dances like a drunk Ron Swanson during parties.
  • Sunglasses at Night: He always wears his Cool Shades even indoors.
  • Super Cell Reception: He modified his phone so it could work anywhere, even in magical universes such as Equestria.
  • Supreme Chef: Power certainly enjoys his homecooked quesadillas, and he also orders his androids to whip up meals for his guests at the bunker.
  • Swiss-Army Weapon: He fashioned himself a pair of advanced gauntlets that had a variety of wrist-mounted weapons on them.
  • Sword Cane: His main weapon is a wolf-headed cane designed like Lucius Malfoy's that has a retractable blade.
  • Tastes Like Friendship: He feeds Power homecooked quesadillas whenever she hangs out with him. He even admitted that the first time he saw her munching on her favorite food was an adorable sight.
  • Teleportation: He has a wrist-mounted device that can teleport him and anyone right next to him to almost any place he wants to go.
  • They're Called "Personal Issues" for a Reason: He keeps his thoughts about what makes Power special to him a secret, even to Psyche.
  • Together in Death: His android clone died together with Psyche in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games when TIM's Luck went on a rampage on the Squid Game field, in contrast to Psyche killing the original Ichi 100 seasons prior.
  • Too Much Information: Cringed during the Reboot Season 61 watch party when Ralsei told him about the Sans of Hometown "befriending" Toriel. Thankfully, Power clarified that they simply met at Sans' grocery store and bought chocolate kisses.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Whenever there's a watch party or any social gathering, expect him to wolf down a slice of pizza and throw an empty can of root beer into the trash after drinking it.
  • Turn the Other Cheek: He's a very forgiving nominator, casually burying the hatchet with Bale for all the trouble caused by the Legion of Doom and Psyche for killing him with a Tetris block over a petty argument in the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games. He was also quick to let go of his grudge against Scipion after the latter killed him for insulting his parents in the 3rd Reboot Nominator Games.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Power. Whenever she feels down, he always comes over to comfort her.
  • Unfazed Everyman: He's hardly fazed by the unusual events in the Games and isn't worried about anything most of the time.
  • What Beautiful Eyes!: Power likes his brown eyes the most, and she couldn't stop admiring them after he took off his shades for their platonic love confession, even suggesting that he go without them more often.

    Infinity Ryujin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinity_avi_2019.PNG

First CVG Appearance: Post 4477 (pre-split), Post 30 (post-split)

Like Ichigo, he resides in his bunker nominating his tributes, but he also goes out Monster Hunting with his assistant Ras.

  • The Alcoholic: Whenever he's at a party, he heads straight for the booze. He also tends to drown his sorrows with the stuff when he's suffering a particularly bad losing streak.
  • Berserk Button: Poor performances from his tributes. It gets pressed quite often and he often goes on an angry tirade about it.
  • Hyperspace Arsenal: It's how he carries all of his weapons around.
  • Past-Life Memories: Has these of the Orignial Timeline, as he was one of the survivors of its destruction.
  • Resurrective Immortality: By way of Hourai Elixir. Even the destruction of the Original Timeline in OT Season 250 wasn't enough to keep him down. Seen in action after his death in Reboot Season 50.
Infinity: "Even if someone or something kills me, I won't actually die."
  • Sanity Slippage: Completely lost it after turning into a zombie in Reboot Season 50, causing him to go Ax-Crazy and become the most murderous in that season.

    Kafka
First ASAS Appearance: Post 3776

The nominator-sona (and fursona, for that matter) of Dubh Kafkaesque. A deadpan, cynical Scottish fox with a more than slight Hipster streak.

  • The Alcoholic: Drowning My Sorrows seems to be their default response to any kind of setback. Even when they're not in such a mood, they typically have booze in one hand. They prefer Scotch whisky, but canned lager will do if there's nothing else.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Their sense of humour is as dry as the Atacama Desert, and it's rare for them to have an interaction with someone where that isn't made very apparent.
  • Funny Animal: An anthropomorphic fox. They just so happen to be their writer's fursona, in addition to nominator-sona.
  • Furry Reminder: When they were stranded outside their base, they lapped up from a river on all fours like a real life fox.
  • Hipster: It's their defining character trait. Or at least, the one jokes about them have gotten the most mileage out of.
  • Overly Long Name: Their real name, Kenneth Adrian Franz Keyes-Alterberg. It's hard to blame them for coming up with something shorter (and gender neutral).
  • Self-Deprecation: Kafka, the writer, has described Kafka, the character, as a deeply unflattering caricature of themself.
  • Shout-Out: Their hoodie had Anthony Fantano's "NOT GOOD" logo emblazoned on the front prior to late 2022, befitting their stereotypical hipster persona. The character returned from being Put on a Bus sporting a new hoodie that removed this reference, since Kafka the writer wanted to make their design less reference-based.
  • The Team Normal: Compared to the magical abilities and/or significant resources most Nominators have at their disposal, Kafka currently has nothing but a smallish base and their wits. They're visibly perturbed the first time Gamemaker Shaffer brings up the Nominator's tendency to encounter supernatural threats for this very reason.
  • Violent Glaswegian: Downplayed. They're Scottish and frequently confrontational, but prefer snark and battles of wits to physical brawling.

    Psychedelicate

(image made with Sangled's Picrew)

First CVG appearance: Post 1307note
First ASAS appearance: Post 3

Psychedelicate, or Psyche for short, is the principal of the Fanfic School. She's a young woman in her early 20s who's been nominating tributes for a very long time, to the point where she still has memories of the Original Timeline. She nominates her tributes and keeps up with the Hunger Games for fanfic inspiration for herself and her students.

  • Author Avatar: Of Psychedelicate.
  • Boyish Short Hair: It's easier to maintain, and besides, she likes to go with a more androgynous look.
  • Butt-Monkey: She never catches a break in the Arena, as she either dies early or suffers the entire time.
  • Character Development: She gradually becomes more empathetic towards her tributes throughout the RP after realising the consequences of her mistreatment towards them. As a result, she treats them better, and her relationships with them – especially BTS – improve.
  • Cute Kitten: Her Pokémon form's a Skitty with comically oversized purple glasses.
  • Damsel in Distress: She's one of the many ARMY trapped in the Ultra Deep Sea after they were unexpectedly nominated in Reboot Season 83. Fortunately, they're rescued by BTS and a bunch of nominators and their tributes.
  • Fangirl: Of BTS and Stray Kids, to the point where the former are some of her favourite tributes to nominate.
  • Fighting Spirit: She received a Stand from Billy before the first Voidlands trip, and she named it "Epiphany".
  • Girls Love Chocolate: She happily stashed the Easter chocolates she got from her staff in her cupboards and will gladly accept chocolate bars from her friends.
  • Heroic BSoD: While she's not quite a nervous wreck like Power Stroke, she's still been through moments that affected her really badly.
    • She takes Ally's sudden explosion so badly that she hides away in one of the laboratories in Ichigo's bunker for a few days. The fact that Villain Month was on at the time doesn't help.
    • She feels very guilty for killing her brother, Ichigo, in the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games. She feels very down about it throughout most of the season, to the point where she can't even bring herself to accept Power's gift to her. Fortunately, she gets better once Ichigo and Power both forgive her.
  • It Amused Me: She believed that not healing her tributes' injuries or modifying any of their memories after each season made future seasons involving them more interesting, and didn't consider the pain they'd cause her and her friends until Jimin's attack on the Fanfic School.
  • Medium Awareness: She knows full well that she's just a fictional character herself and that she's controlled by someone in a roleplay. Sometimes, she gets vague feelings and visions about things that happen beyond the 4th Wall, though she rarely gets to know exactly what happened.
  • Me's a Crowd: In situations where no one is available at the Fanfic School to nominate and look after Psyche's tributes for her, a book character counterpart of Psyche from the latest Nominator Games book in the library materialises in the Tribute Transportation Room to take over those duties in the meantime.
  • Most Fanfic Writers Are Girls: She's very passionate about reading and writing fanfiction, especially if it's about her favourite ships.
  • Moving-Away Ending: Following her player's retirement from the RP, Psyche left the Fanfic School after the 4th Reboot Nominator Games (Season 200) because it was shutting down and she needed to find herself in light of it and the stresses that she had as a nominator and principal. She still keeps in touch with 6k1, Ichi, and Power, albeit offscreen.
  • No Social Skills: She's on good terms with the other nominators, but she's often too preoccupied with her tributes and fanfiction to invest much time in social activities.
  • Otaku: She has a few nerdy interests, especially anime and manga.
  • Past-Life Memories: Of the Original Timeline.
  • The Prankster: In the 4th Reboot Nominator Games, she pranked the other nominators by tricking Kendra J. Ozbourne into thinking of an orange kangaroo in Denmark, pouring garbage onto Golden City Bird's head while he was showering in a waterfall, and literally giving R3 her two cents on the matter.
  • Shipper on Deck: She loves shipping in general, and she's waiting for the day her One True Pairing, Kazuichi/Fuyuhiko, becomes official in the Hunger Games. It's also implied that she secretly ships Ichi with Power, believing that there's more to their friendship, but she understands their firmness on remaining best friends and ships them platonically (or as a BROTP) instead.
  • Sibling Murder: During the 2nd Reboot Nominator Games, she loses control of her emotions and bludgeons her brother Ichigo to death during a heated argument over Tetris. She deeply regrets it, though, to the point where she rejects the crystal statue Power made of them together because she doesn't think she deserves it.
  • Together in Death: She died together with Android Ichi in the 4th Reboot Nominator Games when TIM's Luck went on a rampage on the Squid Game field, in contrast to her killing the original Ichi 100 seasons prior.

Honorary Nominators

These are all those beings who've been recognized as members of the Nominators without necessarily being one.

    Detective Tableturner
First ASAS appearance: Post 923

The former sidekick of Detective Gamechanger who currently runs the Hero and Detective Schools. He used to nominate tributes like the others, but has since retired from it until Reboot Season 137.

  • Determinator: When Billy disappeared mysteriously after his fight against Blackblood, TT spent two months going over 50 universes to find Billy’s body. He eventually succeeded.
  • Meaningful Name: His codename comes from the idiom "turning the tables", which is a synonym of his master's name.
  • Taking Up the Mantle: After GC's untimely death in the Voidlands, TT inherited his properties and his role as detective, but he still goes by his birth name Boris Gardner or codename.
  • Walking Spoiler: His very existence spoils the fact that GC died in the Voidlands.

    Skyler

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fc0qkmoacaah0uz.jpg
Art by ZhoidArts

First ASAS appearance: Post 7303

A Hisuian Zoroark (and an undead one by extension), living originally in cold regions from June's homeworld. They're Scipion's counterpart in this universe as well as a serial killer too.

  • Alternate Self: They're Scipion's counterpart from the WHABP Universe.
  • Distaff Counterpart: They used to be female in their past life, making them the female counterpart of Scipion. Despite that, they don't mind with whatever pronouns the others call them by.
  • Foil:
    • To Scipion. Both are evil for fun, narcissistic, very cautious of their mane, and not above killing. But while Scipion is proud, battle thirsty, and very easy to anger, Skyler is calmer, seemingly kinder, but way creepier, crazier, and unreadable. They're also more willing to obey commands than Scipion.
    • To Dess. They're both Hisuian Zoroarks who currently go by any pronouns who were opposite-gender counterparts of June and Scipion, respectively, in their past lives, and they enjoy scaring people. However, Skyler goes out of their way to meet new people despite their eeriness while Dess is incredibly shy and hides whenever people approach them. Also, Skyler was killed in an accident and retaliated as soon as they turned into a Hisuian Zoroark, while Dess died after being abandoned by their family (or so they believe) and still holds a grudge at them to this day. Additionally, Skyler had always been evil before their death while Dess only became vengeful after theirs. Unlike Scipion and June however, the two Hisuian Zoroarks get along rather well because of their shared love for scaring people.
  • Ghost Amnesia: They don't remember what they did when they were alive, but they do remember killing a rescuer Machamp in retaliation for being killed by them in an accident.
  • Loners Are Freaks: Their natural creepiness certainly doesn't help. Not only that, but they were even unaware of the Multiverse's existence before they met with Scipion.
  • Master of Illusion: Even more than Scipion or June, as their illusions are much stronger. They can even make themself invisible with them.
  • Mind Rape: They can forcibly implant terrifying illusions into their victim's mind.
  • Signature Laugh: They have a recurrent chuckle that's very reminiscent of Scipion's laugh: "Eyuhuhu..."
  • Sissy Villain: To Scipion's annoyance, Skyler is not above being feminine. They even find the concept of pony counterparts amusing, which Scipion detests.
  • Soft-Spoken Sadist: Contrasting Scipion, Skyler rarely gets angry. They even encouraged other nominators and tributes to join in their mental tortures because they genuinely believe doing so is a good activity.
  • White and Red and Eerie All Over: While Scipion's evil tendencies make him paint his mane with his victims or sometimes outright eat them when he's berserk, Skyler isn't above kidnapping people with their illusions just to kill them and watch them die, and also prefers scaring them to death rather than mauling them. They especially love looking at people bleeding out in the snow.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Even more so than Scipion, as Skyler loves messing around with cute, innocent, young people.
