- Manchurian Agent: While he's no longer part of the Armada, he later learns that he's still linked to the Armada's computers allowing them to steal information from his team much to his horror.
- Master Swordsman: He's adept with a sword that he can dual wield two of them. He is later able to use all five of his team's weapons.
- Heel–Face Turn: Troy used to be a soldier of the Armada until he turns against them after they ordered him to kill children.
- Robotic Reveal: To his horror, he and the Rangers learn that he's a cyborg, created by the Armada.
- Unwilling Roboticisation: He was forced to be a cyborg, engineered by Malkor and Creepox.
Jake/Megaforce Black/Super Megaforce Silver
- Chekhov's Skill: Jake has a surprising skill to control a majority of a Megazord. This makes him the ideal candidate for the Quantum Flyer.
- Converted Fanboy: His time trapped in the Morphin Grid allows him to see all the past history of the Power Rangers, giving him a immense appreciation for them.
- Heroic Sacrifice: He took on an attack meant for Gia. He got better.
- Ship Tease: Getting more in a romantic relationship with Gia.
Gia/Megaforce Yellow/Super Megaforce Yellow
- Heartbroken Badass: Becomes this when she lost Jake in the season finale to Megaforce. She gets better once Jake returns.
- Lovable Rogue: She became a thief to survive and help survivors like her when her world was conquered by the Armada.
- Ship Tease: Getting more in a romantic relationship with Jake.
Emma/Megaforce Pink/Super Megaforce Pink
- Action Politician: She used to be this until her planet got decimated by the Armada for speaking out of turn against them.
Noah/Megaforce Blue
- Heroic Sacrifice: Destroys the Power Chamber, taking out many of the Armada, to let his friends to escape.
Orion/Super Megaforce Red
- Canon Character All Along: After a season of hints and foreshadowing, it's revealed that Orion is Phantom Ranger.
- Invisibility: Uses this back when he was a pirate. It also means to foreshadow his true identity.
- The Leader: Becomes this for the new Super Megaforce team.
- My Greatest Failure: He regrets leaving Viginti in the dark side of the Morphin Grid and would do anything to ensure his current team won't suffer a similar fate.
Dr.Noah Carver/Super Megaforce Green
- Cowardly Lion: Unlike Noah, Carver doesn't have much of a spine. He gets better.
- Heroic BSoD: Having been chased by Armada soldiers for a long time, he suffers anytime a similar event happens.
- The Smart Guy: Like Noah, he creates new weapons and gear for the Power Rangers.
- Stable Time Loop: Noah is Dr. Carver, being a younger version of himself.
