"So that's why I'm here. To get my revenge."

Voiced by: Mara WilsonForeign VAs

The client of "Murder Family". A former teacher who ended up in Hell after a murder-suicide. She ends up conscripting I.M.P to murder Martha, her husband's mistress and the only survivor of said murder-suicide.

  • Affably Evil: After the hit she called on Martha is carried out, Mayberry happily joins IMP in celebrating it, joking and acting nicer than when she spoke with Blitzo.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Becoming a demon turned her skin mauve.
  • Ambiguous Innocence: While talking with Blitzo about how she got in Hell, she bemuses that she got sent there in the first place despite leading a fairly normal life. However, considering her... volatile reaction to finding out that her husband was cheating on her, and even sending one of her students into the sky for trying to stop her, it's not made clear how much of Mrs. Mayberry's normal life is fact, and how much of it is just her own Self-Serving Memory. Her hooking up with Martha offscreen after Martha herself ended in Hell after only a couple years since the cheating incident at most only complicates things further. Pride 2025 merch would reveal her to be a lesbian which calls her marriage into question.
  • Ambiguous Situation: Mayberry is a lesbian, so it is not known why she married a man. She could have been trying to cover up her sexuality or not realized she was a lesbian until she went to Hell. Of course, this could just as easily mean her romantic orientation doesn't align with her sexual orientation, and she's romantically attracted to men even if she's a lesbian.
  • Ax-Crazy: Downplayed. But her response to witnessing her husband cheating on her with another woman is to immediately drive over there and brutally kill him and the woman he was cheating on her with a chainsaw and a gun, which, judging by the camera's screen being covered in their blood, was an extremely messy and deliberately gruesome process.
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Exaggerated, she hooks up with Martha of all people, a woman she shot, and when that didn't take, had assassinated. Talk about a switch.
  • Burning with Anger: When she's ticked off, her body and eyes glow red and her hair sticks up while flowing in the shape of a flame.
  • Casting Gag: In life, she was a young blonde teacher who cared for and loved her students, similar to one Miss Honey (minus the psychotics, of course). Now, what movie is Mara Wilson most famous for starring in, again?
  • Chainsaw Good: During her rampage at her cheating husband and Martha, a chainsaw is heard over the computer as her students watch on in horror, implying that Mrs. Mayberry used one against her victims in addition to shooting them.
  • Closet Gay: Pride 2025 merch would reveal Mayberry was actually a lesbian which calls how serious her marriage to her ex-husband was into question.
  • Cool Teacher: As a human, she was a friendly and sociable teacher who was close enough to her students that they often engaged in group singing, and was apparently open enough with her life that one student knew her husband's birthday. That said, the general reactions from said student (suggested to have been held back from graduating her class based on the Dunce Cap) subtly hint that, while she never got murderous before, she seemingly always had a temper, though that didn't keep her from being a good and lovable teacher normally.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Despite becoming a purple-skinned Big Red Devil-esque demon, she mostly retained her cute looks from when she was a kindhearted school-teacher, with her visual appeal getting an upgrade by having the lower half of her skirt torn off, showing her demonic yet decently-shaped legs.
  • Demon of Human Origin: Like every sinner in the Hellaverse, she became a demon after she died.
  • Disproportionate Retribution:
  • Driven to Suicide: How she died. After killing her husband for cheating on her, she realizes that her students at school were still watching and witnessing it all on the video call through her computer monitor and were understandably deeply traumatized from it and because of that, she decides to ultimately end her own life out of sheer regret and remorse for inadvertently traumatizing her own students.
  • Drives Like Crazy: Justified and slightly downplayed, after finding out about her husband's’ infidelity and entering Tranquil Fury, Mrs. Mayberry drives her car out of the parking lot, by smashing down the fence and speeding over the meadows to arrive at her home moments later.
  • Easy Road to Hell: A downplayed example. She was a kind and loving person her whole life, before getting sent down to Hell for shooting her cheating husband and his mistress in a fit of rage, and then committing suicide. Justified by theology in that murder (regardless of the motives) and suicide are, in most religions, heavily damning sins, if not the ultimate ones. The fact that her first response to the cheating was to immediately resort to murder points to her having already been not quite right in the head even before.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • She may be mentally unstable and has zero regrets about killing her adulterous husband, but she was genuinely horrified about traumatizing her former students by showing them her killing her husband, which was the reason she chose to kill herself.
    • A downplayed variant. During the party celebrating I.M.P fulfilling their contract for her, she admits that the Spoof Aesop Millie mentions that Moxxie apparently learned in which "killing people isn't that big a deal if they try to kill you back" is messed up. However, she then immediately shrugs it off, saying that she paid for it.
  • Freak Out: Despite appearing to be an all-around loving teacher, seeing her husband having sex with Martha broke her so much that her murder-suicide immediately tossed her into hell.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Or at least this used to be the case. A cool teacher who was once a loving wife when she was alive.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Her mental instability in life becomes an outright rage disorder in Hell, angrily snapping at anybody and anything that triggers her. It doesn't help that the woman her husband cheated on her with survived the Murder-Suicide and ended up being treated with sympathy and admiration, meaning her rampage was All for Nothing.
  • Hartman Hips: Mrs. Mayberry's hips are noticeably wider than her bust or waistline, especially when she stands with one hip out.
  • Humanoid Abomination: Her demon appearance is incredibly close to how she looked before death, with her simply taking on generic Big Red Devil traits while keeping her general body shape, clothing, and hair. Given examples from other Earth-born demons, her being a mostly good person who simply was heavily mentally unstable and only killing one person before dying resulted in her retaining most of her original human form.
  • Irony: In hell, she ends up starting a sexual relationship with Martha, the woman who slept with her husband and ruined her life.
  • Insane Equals Violent: She is shown to have been rather unstable mentally, and she immediately resorts to Murder-Suicide when seeing her cheating husband. In Hell, her violent tendencies are amplified to have her snap at anything that riles her up. That being said, she actually seems to have stabilized somewhat in the face of becoming a demon; she still has her violent and angry side, as seen during her meeting with Blitzo in the beginning, but in her defense, she did have cause to be pissed, given the circumstances, and she also seems a lot more well-adjusted in Hell than she was in life, even seeming to embrace how "messed up" hell can be in the end.
  • The Mentally Disturbed: While she spent most of her life appearing as a perfectly normal Nice Girl before she snapped, her twitching and trembling when one student reminds her that she forgot her husband's birthday shows she was already pretty mentally unstable, but did her best to keep it under control. Seeing her husband cheating on her is what broke her remaining sanity.
  • Moral Myopia: Downplayed; while she was a mostly good person in life, she can't fathom why brutally murdering and maiming her husband and nearly his lover (in full view of her students, no less) without a hint of remorse over the act itself, and as her first course of action on top of that, would be deserving of condemning her to Hell.
  • Murder-Suicide: When she catches her husband Jarold cheating with Martha via video chat, she immediately drives back home and shoots them both as well as attacks them with a chainsaw to some degree. Upon realizing what she had just done in front of her students via the still on video chat, she decides to shoot herself.
  • Modesty Towel: How she is reintroduced back into the show during season 2's episode 9, Apology Tour, where we and Blitzo catch the fallen school teacher strolling out of her sworn enemy and former life/homewrecker's shower room. Mayberry abashedly clutches the towelette wrapped around her body when I.M.P's manager spots his former client.
  • Mystical White Hair: She was a blonde in life but gained white hair in her Sinner form after falling to hell.
  • Nice Girl: She was incredibly cheerful in life and claimed that she was good all throughout it before the incident that led to her Murder-Suicide. She was also extremely friendly to her students. Sadly, she Took a Level in Jerkass after ending up in Hell, likely due to bitterness about the situation.
  • Pet the Dog: After the mission to kill Martha is successful, she joins the rest of I.M.P in congratulating Moxxie, appearing to be genuinely happy for him in sharp contrast to the perpetual rage that she was in earlier in the episode.
  • Queer Establishing Moment: While she was married to a man in the human world, it's heavily implied she's also into girls as of "Apology Tour", where she exits Martha's shower wearing only a Modesty Towel. Martha's "Yeah, that's fucking right" in reaction to Blitzo noticing practically confirms it.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Becoming a demon gave her red eyes that glow when she's mad, and she's a violently unstable woman with a short temper.
  • Remarried to the Mistress: In a surprise twist, after we last saw Mayberry, she was celebrating I.M.P's successful mission accomplishment with a job well-done party yet hadn't been seen since then. Until recently, where we find she is in a relationship with the woman she'd attempted to murder brutally, then put out a hit on from beyond the grave. She was also the one being cheated on by her husband, straddling Martha behind Maybarry's back on his B-Day.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: She's right about Martha not being a hero, but she's utterly unaware of her being a murderous satanic cannibal along with the rest of her family.
  • Smoking Is Edgy: When Mayberry explains why she wants Martha dead, she’s seen smoking a cigarette, which mirrors her newfound cynicism and bitterness over being sent to Hell and Martha becoming a hero in the public eye.
  • Stronger Than They Look: She has a negligible amount of visible muscle on her, and when alive had the looks and attitude of a harmless, albeit unstable, schoolteacher. However, when she enters a Tranquil Fury while going after her husband, she ends up tossing one of her students straight through the school roof, showing that even without the use of guns and chainsaws, she was somebody incredibly dangerous.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: Even though she was apparently good for her entire life, killing her husband and trying to murder his mistress for cheating on her was enough to send Mayberry to Hell with "all the Hitlers and Epsteins of the world". Not only that, Martha was lauded as a hero for surviving her rampage even though she destroyed Mayberry's marriage. This makes her lose the optimism and cheerfulness she had in life.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Following her Murder-Suicide sending her to Hell, she completely abandoned her old cheerful Nice Girl personality, becoming surly and letting her rage flow freely. Ironically, becoming a Jerkass seems to have actually mellowed out her old mental instability, as it now only flares up when she's mad rather than at random.
  • A Tragedy of Impulsiveness: She was seemingly a strait-laced Nice Girl her whole life...until she caught her husband cheating on her. After which she killed him, tried to kill his partner, and then killed herself all in front of her elementary school-aged students. This was apparently sufficient to damn her to Hell.
  • Tranquil Fury: After seeing her husband cheating on her, she goes silent as she leaves the school.
  • Unfinished Business: After finding out that one of the targets of her vengeful Murder-Suicide is not only still alive, but famous for surviving the ordeal, she hires I.M.P to finish what she started from beyond the grave.
  • Villain Has a Point: While primarily defined by personal bias, Mrs. Mayberry is absolutely correct in claiming that Martha is no hero especially once we discover that she's a sadistic cannibal and a Satan-worshipping serial killer.
  • Woman Scorned: When she found out her husband was cheating on her, she shot him and his mistress in a fit of rage. Then she hired I.M.P to finish off the mistress when she found out she survived.
  • Would Hurt a Child: While she did her best to teach and care for children, snapping after seeing her cheating husband made her fully willing to grab one of her students by the neck and launch them through the school roof into the atmosphere when they try to stop her. Thankfully, the child is shown alive later in the scene, implying Mrs. Mayberry held back so as to not kill the child.

    Loopty Goopty

Loopty Goopty

"I am eccentric and must therefore do eccentric shit!"
Click here to see him when he was young and human
Voiced by: Brandon Rogers (English)Foreign VAs

The client of "C.H.E.R.U.B". An eccentric robotics inventor who ended up in Hell after being accidentally turned old from a machine that he and his business partner created and dying from a heart attack. Upon arriving in Hell, he immediately hires I.M.P to kill his business partner who survived the accident and became the sole beneficiary of their technological empire.

  • Accent Adaptation: In the official Latin American Spanish dub, and just like Blitzo, he is voiced by an Argentinian voice actor, Gustavo Dardes, but he speaks with a Mexican accent, thorough with a neutral one. However, he slips into his native accent at the end of the episode when he reunites again with Lyle in hell.
  • Ambiguously Gay: In the cut to how he died, he slaps Lyle's ass. He never shows any form of affection, lustful or otherwise, to anybody else of either gender in the entire episode. Especially notable at the end, where after being reunited with Lyle in Hell, he drops the fake hatred and resumes acting happily chummy towards his partner.
  • Big Red Devil: What little of his skin visible in his demon form is red.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: Refers to himself as “dastardly inventor of all things loopy and loopish” and freely admits he usually tested his inventions on the poor.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: He deliberately invokes this mentality, with him considering his status as already being a kooky and deranged robotics inventor to make it mandatory that he play it up by acting like an eccentric bastard, doing crazily random shit like breaking down walls to enter a building instead of using the door just because it's expected of him.
  • Combat Tentacles: His demon form comes equipped with four retractable Doctor Octopus-like metallic tentacles, which he can use in a number of ways, such as wrapping into a ball to smash through walls, quickly move around better than if he used his legs, and potentially torture people with various implements while leaving his hands free.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: He ran his own company alongside Lyle Lipton, and the two routinely tested their inventions on the poor without remorse.
  • Dastardly Whiplash: As a demon, he's depicted as a typical top hat-wearing villain with a Sinister Schnoz and a curling black moustache.
  • Eccentric Millionaire: As Loopty himself states above, he is eccentric which to him means that he must do eccentric shit.
  • Evil Is Hammy: He is very upfront about his eccentricities, and milks it for all he's worth, with every word out of his mouth being loud and dramatic, while every movement he makes and action he takes is excessive and absurd, all of which is for the sake of maintaining a memorable image. He dials it up when mentioning his evil deeds, going Cold Ham while casually mentioning how he normally used the poor in his often-lethal experiments and when smugly expressing his completely false plans to torture Lyle in Hell.
  • Evil Is Petty: He ordered a hit on his business partner because Lyle survived the accident that killed him, and took over the technological empire that they both built. He didn't like the idea that with him no longer around to share it all with, Lyle would make all the money in the world, becoming the fourth trillionaire, and get all the credit. Subverted in the end, as it turns out he actually wants him in Hell because he missed his old friend, and knowing he'll end up in Hell sooner or later, he lied and tricked I.M.P into believing he was petty enough to hold a grudge for such a minor thing so that the guy would die and join him within a day.
  • Evil Old Folks: Played with. In life, Loopty was an inventor who often immorally tested his creations on the poor. Thanks to an accident with one of his inventions, however, he was rapidly aged into an old man and shortly died from a heart attack. He ended up in Hell for his sins, and he's noted as looking very old in his demon form.
  • Eye Glasses: The goggles he wears as a demon emote.
  • Formerly Fit: Before his Rapid Aging he had a well-built muscular body. Afterwards all of his muscle atrophied in an instant, turning him rail-thin, which is reflected in his demon form.
  • Fountain of Youth: Loopty and his business partner, Lyle, created a machine called the De-age-ifier whose intended purpose was to stop or reverse the aging process. Unfortunately, it was accidentally set forward and instead rapidly aged both of them.
  • Inventional Wisdom: For some reason, he and Lyle not only designed their de-aging chamber with a reverse function, but also didn't think to include a way to shut it down from the inside.
  • I Was Quite a Looker: Assuming that it is telling the whole truth, the flashback to his time in the living world showed him at first to be quite dashing with a Heroic Build. However, when the experiment goes wrong and Rapid Aging ensues, he becomes sickly, decrepit, and unhealthily thin. That said, his demon form dials the aging back somewhat, making him look roughly as if he’s between those two stages of aging, still not a pinnacle of attractiveness anymore but nowhere near as disturbingly freaky as his pre-death human appearance.
  • Karma Houdini: Zig-zagged heavily, as Loopty did reprehensible things in life, but gets to spend his afterlife with his best friend in Hell, where they can theoretically rebuild their fortunes, if they're not over-exploited, or murdered, by Hell's other denizens first.
  • Laughably Evil: He proves to be very funny from the moment he is introduced, especially with his hammy and overly dramatic recounting of how he died and why he's ordering a hit on Lyle.
  • Lean and Mean: He's an utterly unrepentant Mad Scientist who regularly used poor people for his experiments, and while he originally had a hunky body, his case of Rapid Aging caused him to become Nothing but Skin and Bones before his death, which is reflected by his demon form being close to a Noodle Person.
  • Non-Idle Rich: He and Lyle Lipton worked tirelessly, and quite ruthlessly, on expanding their fortunes and becoming trillionaires. They did help a lot of people doing it, enough that the beneficiaries in heaven sent C.H.E.R.U.B to keep Lyle alive.
  • Obviously Evil: He looks and acts as a cliche supervillain from cartoons and comic books.
  • Only in It for the Money: Everything he and Lyle did was because of this, and had built a technological empire over the lower class which they experimented on. Their purpose for the de-age-ifier machine was to save the three trillionaires in the world, and they were hoping to follow suit. When Loopty died, the elderly Lyle would be the sole owner of their business and would become the fourth trillionaire.
  • Professor Guinea Pig: He and Lyle tested their Fountain of Youth machine on themselves.
  • Rapid Aging: Thanks to their invention, the De-age-ifier, being accidentally set forward, Loopty and his business partner Lyle were rapidly aged into old men. In the process, Loopty died from a heart attack.
  • Rhyming Names: His name is Loopty Goopty, and fitting for the goofiness of both the name itself and how it rhymes, he's very eccentric and quite physically and verbally bombastic.
  • Rich Genius: He and Lyle built a technological empire together with their inventions which made them filthy rich.
  • Shout-Out: He has mechanical tentacles on his back, much like Doctor Octopus, and his question-mark logo resembles that of the Riddler.
  • Sinister Schnoz: As an effect of the accident in which the De-age-ifier rapidly aged him into an old man, his nose became extremely thin and elongated. When he went to Hell and became a demon, his nose retained this shape and now best reflects his actual villainous nature.
  • Villainous Friendship: It's revealed that he lied to Blitzo about wanting Lyle dead to torture him for an eternity. He just wanted to be reunited with his best friend.
  • Younger Than They Look: As a result of the De-age-ifier accident which rapidly aged him into an old man, he's actually much younger than what he appears to be and technically died and went to Hell at a chronologically younger age.

    Drowned Counselor
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/20230717_070747.jpg
"Well, it's just that I'm sure one of the other camp counselors killed me! I'm just not sure which one…"
Click here to see his human missing person poster
Voiced by: Vivienne Medrano

The client of "Unhappy Campers". A former counselor at Camp Ivannakummore who drowned in the lake after his boat was sabotaged by an unknown assailant presumed to be one of his coworkers, hiring I.M.P to find out whoever is responsible and kill them.

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Becoming a demon turned his skin grey with a transparent torso full of water (because of how he died by drowning).
  • Ambiguously Evil: Why is he in Hell? While the immediate assumption and still valid reasoning is Easy Road to Hell, considering how there are self-righteous angels who have an insanely high moral standard, the depiction of humanity thus far hasn't been flattering, with Ivannokumore in particular being a hotbed for bullying and toxicity that the other counselors encourage. Thus, it isn't clear if this guy is in Hell for unjust reasons, or perfectly legitimate ones, or, per Hazbin Hotel, no discernible reason at all.
  • Fish People: His demon form has gray skin, webbed hands, small slits for nostrils and hair that looks like seaweed, making him look a bit like a gill-man. Fitting considering that he died by drowning.
  • He Knows Too Much: His fellow counselor Jimmy killed him for discovering Jimmy and Barbie's drug operation.
  • Never Found the Body: Going by the missing person posters put up around the camp.
  • No Name Given: Referred to as "Lifeguard Dude" in the credits.
  • Plant Hair: As a demon, in keeping with his fish-person and water aesthetics, his hair has seemingly turned to black kelp.
  • Super Drowning Skills: He died from drowning in the lake after his killer drilled holes in the bottom of his boat. Because the counselors are both the only ones who knew that he couldn't swim and have keys to the boathouse, he realizes that one of his coworkers is most likely the culprit.
  • Too Dumb to Live: A counselor who cannot swim decides go out sailing on a boat alone and judging by the missing person posters, not tell anyone about it. He really couldn't have made his murder any easier to hide if it wasn't for I.M.P.
  • The Un-Reveal: What it was that he did to land in Hell since it's not the episode's focus.
  • Whodunnit to Me?: He knows that one of the other counselors killed him, as they're the only ones who have the keys to the boat shed to sabotage the boat he was in, and also knew that he couldn't swim. But because he doesn't know which counselor it is, Moxxie and Millie have to figure out who the target is on their own.

    Rita

Rita

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/freepik__enhance__13377.jpeg
"Yesterday, I was killed by the evil ghost haunting a spooky hotel."
Click here to see what’s left of her human corpse
Voiced by: Jinkx Monsoon (English)Foreign VAs

The client of "Ghostfuckers". A woman who claimed to be killed by a ghost at a hotel she stayed at.

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Like all of Hell's Sinners, Rita's skintone is a vivid hue — lilac, in her case.
  • Ambiguously Evil: Like the Drowned Counselor, we don't know just what Rita did to end up in Hell, since she doesn't seem like a bad person from what we see of her. The fact that the Hazbin Hotel episode "Welcome to Heaven" previously revealed that Heaven's requirements are a Black Box unknown to even the angels adds some further ambiguity.
  • The Ditz: Implied, as Millie tries to explain that ghosts don't exist by saying that dead humans either go to Heaven or Hell, with no in-between, only for said explanation to go right over Rita's head.
  • Eye Glasses: As a Sinner, the only thing that can be seen in Rita's white glasses are her pupils. When she was a human, her glasses were normal.
  • Femme Fatalons: Her nails are longer than her head.
  • Floating Limbs: As a Sinner, her head hovers over her shoulders with no neck. It's implied that this is Morphic Resonance from her death of being decapitated by Rolando.
  • Horned Humanoid: Upon entering hell, she gained a pair of golden horns standing straight up from her head.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Implied — while she ended up in Hell (which, in the Hellaverse, is easier than it ought to be), she takes Loona's caustic snark in stride, and is even willing to tell Millie her story from the beginning when Loona hands the responsibility over to her.
  • Morphic Resonance: Her floating head is implied to be a carry-over from the decapitation that killed her.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: Unlike most sinners, Rita's demon form is completely colored in pastel colors.
  • Off with Her Head!: She was decapitated by Rolando, and this is implied to be the reason she has a floating head without a neck as a Sinner.
  • Otherworldly Technicolour Hair: As a Sinner, Rita has poofy green hair and a furred tail, with yellow bangs and tail streaks.
  • Vagueness Is Coming: Her psychic warned her that she'd be going "somewhere bad" on Wednesday. Rita admits that she thought she meant Baltimore, not Hell.
  • Wrong Genre Savvy: She thinks it was a ghost that murdered her. As Blitzo and Millie find out, it was actually an Infestor demon, but his illusion powers made it easier to mistake him for a ghost.

    Karen

"Karen"

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/unnamed_karen_client.jpg
Voiced by: Jinhee Joung

The client in "Sinsmas," who wants I.M.P. to assassinate her ex-husband because she doesn't want him to enjoy Christmas with their children and his new partner.

  • Abusive Parents: Implied, she hires assassins to kill her ex-husband specifically so he can't spend time with their children on Christmas. The children's feelings about losing both their parents, one on Christmas, doesn't seem to concern her. Likewise, they don’t seem to be mourning her around this time either, and appear to have settled right in with their new stepfather.
  • Asshole Victim: With her rude, bitchy, and borderline homophobic behavior throughout the episode, you're clearly not meant to feel sorry for her when Blitzo has enough and throws her out the window. Being a Sinner, she also won't suffer long-term consequences from this, making it a perfectly justified bit of karma.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Perhaps her only good quality is that her Sinner form is very attractive-looking, with a rose-themed design coupled with her voluptuous body-type.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: She tries to have her ex-husband assassinated from beyond the grave just because he left her. While she suggests that he cheated on her, there is nothing but her saying that he "probably" did it in response to her horrid personality. Blitzo even points out that killing someone for leaving her is excessive, making it just as likely that she just made it up on the spot to justify herself.
  • Everyone Has Standards: She looks worried and scared during Stolas' Freak Out.
  • Floral Motifs: Her hair and horns are made of thorny tendrils and branches to reflect her nastiness.
  • The Fundamentalist: Implied. She refers to Christmas as a "sacred holiday", accuses her husband of "corrupting her daughters" with his "heinous" lifestyle and calls Stolas' erotica "sinful", suggesting that her homophobia is motivated by her religious views.
  • Hartman Hips: Her hips are easily the widest part of her body.
  • Hated by All: This client drew the ire of every single I.M.P employee and a former Goetia demon for her selfish and rude behavior towards them. In life, even her own daughters seem to be very happy without her as they enjoy Christmas with their father and new lover.
  • Hate Sink: There is nothing likable about this lady. She's rude, homophobic, has no qualms with killing her ex-husband and orphaning their daughters, and even her claims that her ex cheated on her is implied to be a lie she made up to better justify the hit. When Blitzo finds her reading Stolas's diary and complaining that it didn't make her wet he has enough and tosses her out the window.
  • High-Class Gloves: Wears a pair of these.
  • Hypocrite:
    • She's a bitch on every meaning of the word, yet she has the gall to call Stolas "rude" when he's understandably fed up with listening to her delusional complaints.
    • She's blatantly homophobic, since she hates her husband dating another man and treats him cheating on her as an afterthought. However, when she reads one of Stolas' homoerotic stories about himself and Blitzo (or at least thinly veiled counterparts thereof), she complains that it "didn't make [her] wet once," implying she normally thinks Guy on Guy Is Hot.
    • She is a Sinner living in Hell, yet she has shown signs of being a traditional Christian such as seeing Christmas as a sacred holiday and being homophobic.
  • Internal Deconstruction: She exists to be one to all of I.M.P.'s clients. While most of them were very dubious individuals, they usually had a legitimate case for wanting revenge on their target, especially since most of them indeed turned out to be Asshole Victims when I.M.P. took to the task. By contrast, Karen is so upfront petty and vindictive in her motivations that even I.M.P. realise she's a bad deal, and when they find out the target is a genuinely good person with no strings attached, they can't go through with the job and choose to give Karen her comeuppance instead, it being the more genuine act of Pay Evil unto Evil they usually do.
  • Jerkass: If anything above isn't any indication, she's very unpleasant.
  • Meaningful Name: Karen (assuming that is her actual name) is a derogatory term for demanding, selfish women who treat customer service like junk. This Karen barges into I.M.P.'s office and demands they do a job for her on Christmas Eve, before making herself at home and complaining about not being treated well enough.
  • Mirror Character:
    • Let’s just say if Stella had a human identity, this lady would fit the bill. Though she seems to have the added hateable factor of extreme homophobia and extreme religious fundamentalism that Stella at least didn't have.
    • She is this to Mrs. Mayberry, being Sinners who husbands left/cheated on them. The latter caught her husband cheating on her and personally murdered him and tried to kill Martha, forgetting to turn the computer off and her students saw it. Mrs. Mayberry felt so terrible for scarring them, she killed herself. She had I.M.P kill Martha, but it was difficult since Moxxie is normally against killing parents, only being able to do it after learning she's a murderous cannibal. Karen on the other hand drove her husband and their daughters away with her behavior, tried to convince I.M.P to kill him so he wouldn't "poison" their daughters with his "heinous lifestyle" of being with another man, even though that would mean orphaning them. However, the assassins couldn't bring themselves to kill him after seeing the family.
  • No Name Given: She is credited as "Karen Client," but it's unclear if Karen is her actual name or if it's just a descriptor.
  • Noodle Incident: We don't actually learn how she died, just that she's now dead and wants revenge on her ex. Her demon form has hair and horns resembling thorny branches and vines, so her death could've involved plants somehow.
  • Oblivious to His Own Description: She condemns her husband and all gay people as sinful, even though she currently lives in Hell.
  • Obnoxious Entitled Housewife: It's unclear if "Karen" is her real name or not, but either way she fits the stereotype to the letter.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: Part of her anger seems to be because her ex-husband is now with another man. She claims she doesn't want them subjecting their kids to their "lifestyle."
  • Slasher Smile: She briefly displays this when Blitzo accepts her "shitty job" in killing her ex-husband, further implying that she wants this done purely out of selfish malice.
  • Stealth Pun: Her demon form has thorny branches for horns and similarly thorny vines for hair — fitting with her "prickly" personality.
  • Unreliable Expositor: She says that her ex-husband "probably" cheated on her before she died. Whether she actually believes this but couldn't prove it, or if she was just claiming that he did to justify the hit is unclear, though the timing of the statement leans more towards the latter.
  • Woman Scorned: She wants her ex-husband killed because he and their two daughters now have a happy family with his new husband. As for whether the ex-husband actually cheated on her, even she can only say that he "probably" did it.

    Tommy Two-Holes

Tommy Two-Holes

Luigi Paesano's most trusted confidant who was killed by Paulie Paesano after catching him stealing funds from the family business. He hires I.M.P. to kill Paulie, seeing him as a severe liability.

  • Excellent Judge of Character: In contrast to most other clients who wanted their targets dead for rather petty reasons, Tommy wants Paulie dead because he recognizes Paulie as being detrimental to the family and clearly knew he would inevitably betray Luigi if not dealt with.
  • The Ghost: Like all other clients in the shorts, Tommy is never seen on-screen. The reason he has a folder is due to just how significant he is along with actually getting named.
  • He Knows Too Much: While Paulie claims that Tommy was a rat, it's clear that he killed Tommy due to being caught red-handed stealing family funds and damaging the family. Unfortunately for Paulie, this doesn't stop Tommy from interfering with his plans.
  • Undying Loyalty: Tommy is very much devoted to protecting Luigi at all costs and correctly summarizes that Paulie is hurting the family business.

Voiced by: Cristina Valenzuela (English),Foreign VAs

A famous succubus popstar that Blitzo once dated in the past.

  • Actress Allusion: In "Apology Tour", she rips out the "heart" of the Blitzo cake in a rather sadistic manner, not unlike a certain assassin Christina voices.
  • Affectionate Nickname: In "Apology Tour" when they're alone, Blitzo calls her "Ver".
  • The Alcoholic: She's a functional alcoholic. She is frequently seen drinking from a flask in "Spring Broken", and it's mentioned that she just got out of rehab. Said flask becomes a Chekhov's Gun when the hellish drink turns a fish into a monster. A Freeze-Frame Bonus in "OZZIE'S" has her drink some wine while Millie and Moxxie affirm their love for each other.
  • Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: Verosika and the rest of her crew were doing well in charming the audience into a ravenous orgy until she, having downed a good amount of demonic booze before her show, flung her flask of said booze into the audience which found its way into the sea and turned a normal fish into a kaiju monster. This eventually gives I.M.P the means to force her into forfeiting to keep them from ratting her out to Hell's higher-ups.
  • All Take and No Give: She states that her relationship with Blitzo was this in "OZZIE'S", with her being the Giver and him being the Taker.
Verosika: Blitzo? (singing) I used to date him
I'd stroke him, I'd fellate him
But when it was my turn
    He did no reciprocatin'
  • Ambiguously Brown: Verosika's Human Disguise has olive brown skin and blonde hair though her race is left unclear.
  • Ambiguous Situation:
    • It's not clear if Blitzo was involved with her romantically before or after she became famous. When I.M.P brings it up, Blitzo just dodges the question.
    • It's never explained how she's able to travel to the human world to tempt humans into lustful sinning, whether it's a magic artifact like I.M.P, inherent succubus powers, being handled by the Succ Ink company hiring her, or some other method for entering the mortal realm. A Freeze-Frame Bonus in "The Circus" implies she's in possession of an Asmodean Crystal, which allows for travel between Earth and Hell via summons.
  • Anti-Villain: Verosika is introduced as rude, petty and antagonistic, but she really isn't a bad person per se. It's shown that she acts this way because of her ended relationship with Blitzo, and is genuinely capable of being kind when not around him.
  • Attention Whore: Being an attractive succubus popstar, she naturally tries to garner the attention of those around her. Best shown in "OZZIE'S" where she immediately eats up the paparrazi when Asmodeus draws attention to her, forcefully shoving Wally Wackford away from her to be alone in the spotlight.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Blitzo's hallucination under Truth Serum in "Truth Seekers" includes Verosika, reprimanding him for his selfishness and suggesting his guilt for dumping and stealing from her, indicating past care. In "Spring Broken," Verosika appears genuinely hurt and angry about his betrayal, as shown by her tattoo of his name, later crossed out. In "OZZIE'S," her calling Blitzo a "selfish, heartbreaking freak" highlights her pain from his actions. Her sulking and drinking imply she isn't over their breakup. "Apology Tour" reveals their split happened when Verosika expressed love, and Blitzo reacted destructively, deeply hurting her. His lack of remorse prevented her from moving on, but when he shows regret, Verosika, though not vocally forgiving, is visibly moved and smiles wistfully. In "Mastermind," despite their history, Verosika is horrified when Blitzo faces execution, staring at the screen in shock.
  • Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: She's already very feminine, and it appears that her wardrobe consists of crop-tops, given how she regularly changes clothing in every episode she stars in. Even in her human form, she wears a two-piece minidress.
  • Big-Breast Pride: Ohhh yes. Verosika is very proud of her large breasts, and will take any chance to show off in provocative ways.
  • But Not Too Bi: Despite being canonically pansexual, Verosika is only ever shown to be outwardly flirty or reciprocal to the advances of men.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: Verosika is notably well-endowed for the show's art style, which is fitting since she's supposed to be attractive even by succubus standards, being a Lust Object in both Hell and Earth. During one of her song numbers, she leans towards her audience to give them a better look at her cleavage and rile them up.
  • Characterization Marches On: While the show doesn't hide Verosika having perfectly valid reasons to hate Blitzo from the get-go, her first appearance in "Spring Broken" portrays her as a more straightforward Smug Snake Sitcom Arch-Nemesis, with her Alpha Bitch behaviour extending to characters beyond Blitzo (making her a common enemy for the whole of IMP) and her spite and carelessness ultimately leaving her the Butt-Monkey of their feud. Essentially a Distaff Counterpart for Vox. Later appearances focus more on the Woman Scorned aspect of their vendetta, with her implied to be a much more sympathetic person when not laser-focused on Blitzo's existence. As such Verosika tends to exist as a much more humbling presence for Blitzo than before.
  • Charm Person: She, along with her fellow succubi and incubi, are able to magically enthrall humans to become sexually obsessed with them, which is represented by clouds of hearts that act similarly to Bishie Sparkles. She personally utilizes it in a Magic Music manner, infusing the charm spell into her songs in order to enthrall entire crowds at once. That said, it only works on humans, as when Josh the incubus tried to charm Loona, she shrugged it off, punched Josh in the face, and walked away.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The company that hired her in "Spring Broken" has something of an Early-Bird Cameo in "Murder Family". A Freeze-Frame Bonus during the scene in "Murder Family" wherein the firefighter imps are exiting the building, having just put out the office fire, shows on the front door a sign stating that a company by the name of Succ Ink apparently occupies most of the floors of the building that I.M.P have their office at. What exactly this company is later revealed in "Spring Broken" through dialogue from Verosika and Vortex.
  • Didn't Think This Through: A recurring flaw of Verosika's in "Spring Broken" is her focusing too much on spiting Blitzo to think about the long-term consequences of her actions.
    • In the excitement of the concert, Verosika threw her flask of Beezle-juice into the crowd, which wound up in the ocean. She forgot that alcohol from Hell could lead to nasty side effects in the human world, and her Oh, Crap! face when the monster emerges from the sea says it all.
    • Her trying to blackmail I.M.P over making a clear violation of the masquerade by killing a giant fish monster in broad daylight and for them not being disguised among humans falls flat for two reasons. First, the fish monster incident only happened because of the flask of demonic alcohol owned by Verosika, which she tossed into the crowd which lead to the beezle-juice mutating the fish. Second, their chosen avenue for the Demon Duel was a beach full of drunk-out-of-their-mind humans that repeatedly mistook them for everything except demons. This allows I.M.P to blackmail her into giving them their parking spot back.
    • Verosika and her crew entice an entire concert crowd into an orgy to win the bet, with her crew seducing and sleeping with several humans. They wind up getting arrested by the police for public indecency, whereas Blitzo and his crew got away scot-free with wanton murder because they stuck to both stealthily doing so and making sure to Leave No Witnesses.
  • Dramatic Irony: Her efforts to comfort Stolas are genuine, and Stolas really was hurt by Blitzo's rejection, but Verosika is unaware that, unlike with her, Blitzo did have understandable reasons for lashing out at Stolas - Blitzo panicked when Stolas demanded his grimoire back, Stolas didn't give him any time to process his feelings, and as "Apology Tour" shows, Blitzo never saw any indication that Stolas saw him as any different from any other imp.
  • Drinking on Duty: Subverted, Verosika happily empties her flask of Beelzejuice on stage before she starts her concert, but her fans are all drunk out of their minds anyway and none of her crew has a problem with her drinking, at least initially.
  • Embarrassing Tattoo: She has a heart tattoo with Blitzo's preferred name, "Blitz", on her right shoulder, but it's been crossed out.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: Par for the course being a succubus, but women cheer for her as much as men do and get just as into her song "Vacay to Bonetown".
  • Everyone Has Standards:
    • While she has no problems causing pain for Blitzo, and even people affiliated with Blitzo, she is genuinely horrified when she inadvertently mutates an Earth fish with her liquor, causing it to go rampant on her party goers.
    • And as much as she hates Blitzo, she's visibly horrified when he's about to be executed on live television. Though, this is after she and Blitzo had their heart-to-heart in "Apology Tour"; whether she would've reacted the same beforehand is unknown.
  • Evil Diva: Evil is a stretch as she isn't really malevolent, but she's a hypnotic pop star who is also a demon from Hell and can be petty and vengeful.
  • Evil Has a Bad Sense of Humor: Implied by Verosika herself, as one of the things she mentions about dating Blitzo is that he was "funny" in "Apology Tour", and Blitzo can turn a crowd deranged with his poor jokes. She also laughs along with Blitzo at his impromptu joke about reporting her to HR for taking his parking space in "Spring Broken".
  • Evil Is Petty:
    • She steals I.M.P's parking spot and has her entourage harass Moxxie, solely to piss off Blitzo. During her concert in the human world, she even puts "FUCK YOU BLITZO" in giant letters on the screen, knowing he's probably there and watching.
    • Downplayed and eventually subverted by the ends of "Truth Seekers" and "OZZIE'S", respectively. Her dialogue in the former during Blitzo's Mushroom Samba (even if it was not her personally but a hallucination in Blitzo's head) implies that the two broke up on very sour terms, which is confirmed in the latter episode, showing that their breakup was deeply personal for both of them.
    • Further subverted in "Apology Tour". At first, Blitzo and even Stolas find the idea of her hosting an annual "anti-Blitzo"note  party to be incredibly petty, stupid and downright childish. However, by the end of the episode its clear that she sees the parties less as a "gotcha" against Blitzo but more of a way to help the many, many people Blitzo has genuinely hurt over the years find some catharsis and closure.
  • Fashionable Asymmetry: Her regular dress has different markings (X and O) across the breasts, while in her human disguise she wears a top that leaves one shoulder bare, a skirt that shows off more of her left leg than right, and has a star above the left hip.
  • The Fashionista: Perhaps to go along with her "pop star" shtick, she's frequently changing outfits and hairstyles in every episode she is featured.
  • Fatal Flaw: Spite. A recurring flaw of Verosika's in "Spring Broken" is her focusing too much on spiting Blitzo to think about the consequences of her actions. The entire conflict starts when Verosika steals I.M.P's parking spot, and for no other reason than it would piss off Blitzo. She then assaults Moxxie unprovoked just to send a message to his boss. This leads to The Bet that I.M.P can kill more people than Verosika's crew can fuck. Verosika is so loud and in-your-face about her ability to charm humans with lust using her Magic Music that she does so out in the open, which gets Verosika and her crew arrested for public indecency by the local police after she starts a huge orgy. Blitzo and I.M.P, meanwhile, operate in the shadows and Leave No Witnesses, ensuring that they get away with murder and win the bet.
  • The First Cut Is the Deepest: This turns out to be the reason Verosika is so sour towards Blitzo. As it turns out, she had genuinely fallen in love with him, but when she worked up the nerve to be vulnerable and tell him, his reaction was to dump her in a manner so cruel and humiliating that it's kept her from being able to move on and possibly even contributed to her alcoholism.
  • Girly Girl: She is probably the most feminine female character in the show, with what having an all-pink color scheme with a few tones of purple, being a sensual pop-star with very long hair and a curvaceous body who always wore different hairstyles and outfits that includes midriff-exposing elements and high-heeled shoes, and let's not forget that, as a succubus, she's naturally flirtatious and sultry.
  • Hard-Drinking Party Girl: She's an alcoholic who loves throwing wild parties.
  • Hartman Hips: Her hips are wider than her shoulders, and even Blitzo insults her for having a "fat ass".
  • Hidden Depths: She was Blitzo's ex who he had to compete with for comedic reasons, complete with petty sniping at each other. During her second major appearance in "Apology Tour", she was given more depth as a character. She didn't react with anger at Blitzo crashing her party, and was even willing to hash things out with him for what little it was worth. Blitzo had dumped her when she told him she loved him and wanted to get serious, which ended in hard feelings since she felt vulnerable and embarrassed and Blitzo made a point of splitting in the way he did. When Blitzo even admitted he didn't want to always be the way he is, she even advised him that part of it was to stop being jealous and petty and to just start feeling happy for others even if he isn't involved. She also accepts his apology in the episode and appears to have mostly let go of her animosity towards him as seen in "Ghostf**kers" when her employees pleasantly greeted IMP and in "Mastermind" she shown to be horrified watching Blitzo's impending execution on television.
  • High-Heel Power: Verosika wears heels so high that she’s practically walking on the tips of her toes like a ballerina. The power bit is based on her connections and social standing: Verosika’s position as Vortex’s boss, being a famous and influential popstar and having been put in charge of a crew of demons by a company.
  • High-Class Gloves: She wears a pair of white long gloves to emphasize her feminine nature.
  • Hot as Hell: She's a demon with one of the sexiest designs among the cast and an incredibly sexual personality, quite fitting for a literal succubus.
  • Hot in Human Form: Downplayed, Verosika is already quite attractive by human standards in her normal Succubus form, having an Impossible Hourglass Figure, an endowed bosom and long shapely legs, but her human disguise removes her wings, tail, horns along with her pinkish skin, while maintaining her figure aside from decreasing her breast size, making her far more palatable by human standards.
  • Human Disguise: Much like Loona, she's capable of taking on a more human appearance while on Earth. She uses it while onstage to incite ravenous lust in a Spring Break crowd.
  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: She's probably one of the most voluptuous recurring female characters in the show, with her large bust and wide hips being accompanied by her extensively narrow waist.
  • Jiggle Physics: Being one of the females to have a well-pronounced chest, it tends to jiggle quite a bit.
  • Jerkass Has a Point:
    • Blitzo never denies the accusation that he stole Verosika's credit card and her car then blew a ton of money on himself as a way of ending their relationship. Her reaction may have been incredibly petty and spilled onto people Blitzo merely employs but she does have reason to be pissed off at him.
    • Even if her argument ran mute by escalating circumstances caused by her, Verosika claiming that I.M.P will get in major trouble for not wearing human disguises unlike her and her crew is valid considering Loona briefly reprimanded them for the same thing earlier. Her claims are proven correct a couple of episodes later where the D.H.O.R.K.S. HAVE been keeping tabs on I.M.P due to them not wearing disguises, and Stolas gives them a reprimanding of his own because of this.
  • Jerkass to One: She specifically has it out for Blitzo, and it's rather obvious that it's due to his selfishness in the past. Even when she attacks Moxxie when he confronts her, she does it because he's Blitzo's employee. By contrast, she's quite kind to everyone else she interacts with, as long as they don't affiliate with Blitzo himself.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Very much in regards to her Jerkass to One tendency. As much as she utterly dislikes Blitzo for how their relationship ended, this is actually rather warranted when we learn that it ended pretty nastily and Blitzo was the main driving force: she describes their relationship as being very All Take and No Give with her being the Giver and him being the Taker and he sabotaged their relationship as he did just because she said she loved him. In "Apology Tour", it's revealed that while she holds an annual "I-hate-Blitzo" party for all of Blitzo's exes, she does it exclusively for the benefit of his scorned, heartbroken exes in order to help them find closure and help them get over him in a safe space, just like herself, and later Stolas, and treats the healing process as a very serious thing. And even taking into consideration how Blitzo made her feel by dumping her like he did, she accepts his Heartfelt Apology with a surprising amount of gentleness and grace, going as far as to advice Blitzo how he can start making amends with Stolas. In the episode "Mastermind" she is shown to be visibly distressed witnessing Blitzo's impending execution on TV during the trial.
  • Lascivious Beauty Mark: Emphasizing her being an attractive Succubus popstar whose main job is to seduce humans with her heavily sexually charged singing into engaging in carnal acts of lust alongside the various sexy popstar outfits she often wears, Verosika has a heart-shaped beauty mark under her right eye which is retained even in her human disguise.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Her attempt to spite Blitzo by making a bet between I.M.P. killing humans and Verosika's crew charming the most humans into having sex with each other ends up getting her caught by the police in the human world when she actually enables an orgy to happen in public and ends up creating a fish monster by accident when she throws her alcohol into the nearby ocean. For extra points, this also came from being the only instance she was vindictive to someone besides Blitzo, being competitive to the other IMP members unprovoked and assaulting Moxxie when he politely tries to reason with her, giving them reason to side with Blitzo against her.
  • Leitmotif: In "Spring Broken", an aggressive-sounding EDM tune plays whenever she's on screen.
  • Leg Focus: Because of her tall figure, Verosika has extremely long and slim legs.
  • Living Aphrodisiac: As a succubus she can use her songs to induce lust in humans, which she does in "Spring Break" to turn her audience into an orgy. It's unclear if any succubi can do this or if she's just exceptionally good at it.
  • Long Hair Is Feminine: Her already feminine looks are added to by having hair so long and voluminous that it looks more like a mane.
  • Lovable Alpha Bitch: Verosika may be a beautiful, sometimes rude, vain and sex-addicted pop star, but she’s shown to be a Benevolent Boss towards her employees and is capable of showing kindness to anyone who isn’t named Blitzo. She even hosts an Anti-Blitzo party specifically to help those who Blitzo hurt find closure and comfort, and eventually learns to forgive Blitzo after he gives her a sincere apology.
  • Male Gaze: She at least gets more than one shot that emphasize her voluptuous body, whether it's her breasts, hips, or legs.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Pronounces the "O" in Blitzo's name, despite him wanting the "O" to be silent. Considering she's an abrasive ex-girlfriend, she's doing it just to get him angry.
  • Meaningful Name: May Day is a European festival held on May 1, celebrating the halfway point between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. It's a celebration of fertility and thus historically has been associated with debauchery and lust.
  • Mind-Control Music: Downplayed. Her music as a succubus doesn't make people obedient, it just makes them really horny. Since she's a succubus, it helps quite a bit with her job. When she sings "Vacay to Bonetown" in the human world, it causes all of the humans who hear it to become uncontrollably lustful with each other.
  • Morphic Resonance: She retains her distinctive heart-shaped mole and pink skunk stripe when in her Human Disguise.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Being physically attractive and sexually alluring comes with being a succubus, and boy oh boy does the show make that very clear; her attitude is near-permanently sultry and sensual even when acting as an insulting bitch, she's one of the curviest females among the entire female cast whose bust tends to jiggle a lot, large hips to go along with Blitzo's claim that she has a "fat ass", and every one of her outfits is deliberately designed to bring focus to her sexy body.
  • Never Be Hurt Again: It's a rather big deal that a succubus, who constantly makes men fall for her without a preference for anyone, ended up falling in love with someone like Blitzo. However, in the one moment she was vulnerable when she confessed her love to him, he ditched her, which understandably pissed her off so much that she hasn't fallen in love again.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero!: She ends up unknowingly delaying Stolas' Jerkass Realization in Apology Tour by making the assumption that he was just another one of Blitzo's scorned lovers and insisting Blitzo was at fault for what happened between them, not realizing Stolas' culpability in it by refusing to acknowledge the power difference between them.
  • Noble Demon: A literal example, being a succubus demon from hell who is also a Benevolent Boss and not incapable of being kind - as long as your name isn't Blitzo, that is.
  • Off the Wagon: Zig-zagged, Verosika’s alcoholism sent her to rehab, but it didn’t do anything to curb her love of drinking at all times of the day, perhaps because she got out early.
  • Pink Is Erotic: Has an almost all-pink color scheme and is a curvaceous succubus who entices those who listens to her singing to have sex. Pink has a hard time being MORE erotic than this.
  • Pink Means Feminine: She is one of the most feminine and overall womanly demons in the series, and she has a heavily pink palette such as her hair being a blend of two pinks, and her skin-tone is a relatively vibrant shade of hot-pink, bordering on the regular demonic red.
  • Pretty in Mink: While driving, she dons a light pink fur coat.
  • Proud Beauty: She's all-and-all aware of her status as Ms. Fanservice, and will go all out to show off, either wearing revealing outfits or seductively walking on stage.
  • Psycho Ex-Girlfriend: Downplayed. She's very bitter about how her relationship with Blitzo ended and holds a major grudge against him, and jumps at the chance of screwing him over or humiliating him when she can, but she's not so psychotic as to actively attempt to kill him. But this portrayal is definitely invoked when she's psychotically stabbing a Blitzo-shaped cake in front of Stolas.
  • Really Gets Around: Unsurprisingly for a succubus, she's heavily implied to be very promiscuous.
  • Rich Bitch: She's a wealthy pop star, sometimes has a rather nasty attitude, and uses her influence in Hell to get whatever she wants.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Famous!: She says she got out of rehab early by virtue of being a famous singer.
  • Sex Goddess: Perhaps unsurprisingly, considering she's a succubus, Verosika is implied to be absolutely incredible in bed. In Spring Broken she's confident about the idea she and her crew can give orgasms to thousands of humans in a single day and during Ozzie's she brags she was a generous and selfless lover during her relationship with Blitzo.
  • Showgirl Skirt: The dress she is wearing in her human disguise uses the aesthetic.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: She loathes Blitzo and is an antagonist in a few episode she shows up, but is one of the few "villains" of I.M.P. that isn't actively attempting to kill them or ruin their lives, she's just trying to one-up them in their petty rivalry.
  • Smug Snake: She has an obnoxiously smug attitude throughout the events of "Spring Broken", flaunting her superiority over Blitzo with no hesitation and competing against him in everything she can think of. This attitude ends up dropping momentarily when her own hubris leads to her downfall when she accidentally creates a kaiju monster during a drunk fit, and the police arrest her and her crew for starting a public orgy. While her vendetta with Blitzo remains in later appearances, her arrogance tends to be toned down.
  • Statuesque Stunner: To complement her attractive Hot as Hell appearance, Verosika is taller than even Loona, with Blitzo's head barely reaching her stomach.
  • STD Immunity: If some of Blitzo's insults towards her and her entourage are him being Brutally Honest and not just trying to rile her up, she and her group heavily avert this and are utterly riddled with numerous venereal diseases, though there's some implication that being sex demons makes them unaffected by the worst aspects, simply acting as carriers for spreading them.
  • Succubi and Incubi: She and her entire business serve as succubi, which are sex-providing demons. Verosika herself incites lust in people by singing onstage as a popstar.
  • "Take That!" Kiss: She and her friends start aggressively make out with Moxxie to mock him when he tries to persuade them to give up their parking slot in "Spring Broken"
  • The Noseless: It seems her kind have nothing resembling nostrils from any angle you see their faces minus the time when they don the human disguise illusions. They look pointy like what the other mortals have.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: In the episode Apology Tour when she hosts a party to help all of Blitzo's ex's cope with the trouble he may have caused them. She's instantly welcoming (albeit a bit drunk) to Stolas upon first seeing him and gives him a kiss and a friendly interaction as a sense of comfort. She also seemed a bit touched when Blitzo admits that he doesn't want to be the person he is forever and gives him some cake that has a heart on it before leaving back to join the party. In "Mastermind", she seems to have let go of her hatred towards Blitzo for the most part after his apology as she's shown to be horrified witnessing his impending execution on television.
  • Unlimited Wardrobe: She stands out for wearing a different outfit every episode she shows up.
  • Vanity License Plate: Got one on her car that says: "Suck-4-Life" which Blitzo calls unoriginal while he rages at her for taking I.M.P's parking spot.
  • What Does She See in Him?: On her introduction and the revelation that she and Blitzo used to date, Moxxie, Millie and Loona all wonder what she ever saw in Blitzo, because he's a squat, foul-mouthed, loony Jerkass and she's a bombshell pop star.
Moxxie: Is she blind?! Suffering some form of brain damage?
  • White Hair, Black Heart:
    • Downplayed in her initial appearance, Verosika's hair is light pink and while she's a grade A jerkass, she at least has understandable reasons for being angry at Blitzo.
    • This becomes subverted as more information about Verosika is revealed, as she's perfectly amicable with everyone besides Blitzo, and her attitude towards him was purposefully instigated and encouraged by Blitzo himself.
  • Wicked Heart Symbol: Befitting for a lust-inciting succubus, she has a number of heart imagery both on her person and the accessories she dons. To name just a few among the many seen on her, she has a heart-shaped mole, the tip of her tail is shaped more like a heart rather than a stereotypical spearhead, and she has a pair of glasses with hearts on the lenses.
  • Winged Humanoid: She and her fellow succubi and incubi have noticeable bat wings.
  • Woman Scorned: She absolutely despises Blitzo for the way he ended their relationship (by robbing and abandoning her).
  • Your Mother: When she mentions that rehab is for "sad, loser wash-ups", she acidly tells Blitzo that his sister says "hello", likely trying to rile him up.

    Verosika's Crew
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/verosika_crew_7.png
Top: Kiki, Coco, Apple and Milky. Bottom: Ace, Kat and Josh.

A succubus/incubus crew that work for Verosika.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Verosika calls them "sluts" and they don't seem to mind.
  • All There in the Manual: Their names are revealed in a tweet: Josh, Coco, Apple, Kat, Milky, Kiki and Ace. It also reveals Coco and Apple are in a same-sex-relationship.
  • Ambiguously Brown: Not as demons, but when utilizing their human disguises, Kat, Ace, Milky, and Coco do have a darker skintone than Caucasian.
  • Big Beautiful Woman: Milky is short of stature, chubby and can seduce just as well as her friends.
  • The Cameo: Several times in the background.
    • Almost the entire crew, minus Kat, makes a reappearance in "OZZIE’S” guesting at the titular establishment without any influence on the plot. Specifically, Apple and Coco appear briefly in the background seemingly on a date, Josh and Ace are cuddling at their own table, while Milky and Kiki are standing at a table that seats Stolas’ imp butler.
    • In "Full Moon" Coco and Apple are seen walking behind the hiding Cherubs in the Lust Ring, casting them befuddled looks.
    • "Apology Tour" has Apple, Coco, Kiki, Kat and Milky turn up as guests at Verosika's "I hate Blitzo" party.
    • Josh, Milky, Kiki, Coco, Apple can be seen in the opening of "Ghostf**kers" in the I.M.P. office as Millie passes by and greets them happily, with some smilling back.
    • Kiki has a small one in "Mastermind" sitting at a table in a club next to a standing Verosika.
  • Depraved Bisexual: They'll have sex with anything regardless of gender, race/species and don't seem to care much about consent (as they're heavily implied to have sexually assaulted Moxxie when he tried to get I.M.P's parking spot back by asking them formally). A Twitter post for Pride 2024 confirms that Verosika and half of her crew (Apple, Ace, Coco and Josh) are all pan.
  • Erotic Eating: On the beach, Milky catches a guy’s attention by licking a popsicle, leaving a spit trail on the phallic-looking treat right before she jumps him.
  • Everyone Is Bi: As revealed in the above-mentioned Pride 2024 post, literally all of them are Pansexual.
  • Hidden Depths: In "Apology Tour" Kiki is revealed to be quite good on the bass guitar, playing it while Stolas sings.
  • Hot as Hell: Fitting for a group of lust demons, they're very seductive and sexually forward.
  • Human Disguise: They all have one, allowing them to fit into the living world.
  • Mass "Oh, Crap!": Justified, this is the crews’ reaction to getting caught by the police, whom had shown up in force due to the reports of a giant fishmonster, and an orgy, on the beach.
  • Offhand Backhand: Josh tries to come on to Loona and seduce her during an escalating orgy, and she turns him down this way.
  • Perky Goth: With two-toned hair (silver and black) and dark edgy clothes, Josh seems to have this aesthetic. The perky part comes in with his seduction attempts on women.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Downplayed, the group are all attractive demons with the confidence to seduce anyone and a very relaxed relationship to covering clothes, but they're not naked by any means, only dressed provocatively. Special mention to Kiki for wearing a fishnet shirt and heart pasties.
  • Tattooed Crook: Apple has a snake tattoo on her lower left leg and Ace has a spade tattoo on his neck. They're a succubus and incubus respectively whose job is to seduce mortals.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: Kiki's default shirt is nothing but a see-through fishnet and all she has underneath are pasties, effectively making her topless.
  • Winged Humanoid: They all have little black wings on their backs.

"It's cool, her beef ain't mine. I'm not paid enough to care."

Voiced by: James Monroe Iglehart (English),Foreign VAs

A hellhound who works for Verosika as her bodyguard.

  • Ambiguously Bi: Working as a bodyguard for a succubus and her group who don't sexually discriminate, he sometimes becomes part of their escapades despite having a girlfriend. Although Played for Laughs, “Spring Broken” ends with a scene where the group is getting ready to have sex with a bunch of cops, mostly male, and the group is only slightly annoyed including Tex. Whether this means he has sex with men and women from personal taste or "just business" is unknown. That said, he's conspicuously absent from the pride parade artwork, despite both his girlfriend and boss being present. Ultimately, the 2025 Pride Month merch would reveal him to be straight, as he is depicted in Bee's standee artwork holding a straight ally pride flag.
  • Anti-Villain: He's quite friendly, even towards I.M.P after they meet. The only time he does something actively antagonistic is when he makes a thinly-veiled threat towards Blitzo, and that was only because Blitzo was bothering Verosika. Interactions between Vortex and Loona on Earth also establish him as doing this because Verosika is paying him to do it, and that it's Nothing Personal.
  • Baritone of Strength: Has a booming deep voice and is a bodyguard who protects his boss at all costs by knocking people out with a single punch.
  • Bouncer: He works for Verosika as the typical celebrity protecting security guard. He provides protection for the pop star from unruly fans and anyone in general who may be perceived as a threat.
  • Bruiser with a Soft Center: An affectionate and friendly guy off the job, and gets noticeably teary when Loona and his girlfriend - none other than the Lord Of Gluttony, Beelzebub - start fighting.
  • Chick Magnet: He has a girlfriend, Loona develops a crush on him without them even talking to each other, and is part of a group of demons who make a living inducing lust in and having sex with people, both women and men.
  • Cute Little Fangs: As to be expected of a hellhound, he has four prominent fangs, which are still present even in human form. While he sometimes bares them to invoke Scary Teeth, most of the time he exposes them when acting silly or being friendly.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: He has a predominantly dark color scheme and dresses mostly in black, but he's very friendly and polite, along with not doing anything to display him as morally corrupt like his employer or I.M.P.
  • Divine Date: His girlfriend is revealed to be none other than Bee-lezebub, the ruler of the Gluttony Ring herself.
  • Ear Notch: He has a few small notches in both ears.
  • Friendly Address Privileges: He lets his friends call him "Tex".
  • Handicapped Badass: His left eye may be scarred over and blank-white-blind, but that does nothing to prevent him from being an effective bouncer and bodyguard for Verosika, knocking out and dragging away a Loony Fan using just one hand.
  • Hellhound: He's a dark-furred wolf hellhound just like Loona which is what immediately attracts her to him.
  • Heroic Build: Although "heroic" is a bit of a stretch, he has a muscular build, and is pretty pleasant for a man in his profession.
  • Human Disguise: Has one like Loona and Verosika, to protect the latter from any overly horny humans when she's performing on Earth.
  • Hunk: Vortex's Human Disguise takes the form of a tall, brawny, ruggedly handsome man.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Due to being unaware of Loona's feelings for him, he fails to notice the hurt look on her face after he brings up the fact that he has a girlfriend.
  • Morphic Resonance: His Human Disguise retains the dark fur colorization of his hellhound form by being a black man. He also retains his tattoos, scarred eye, and ear notches in his disguise.
  • Nice Guy: Especially in comparison to Verosika, he's very nice to Loona and invites her to his girlfriend's parties so she can make some friends. He's also polite to Blitzo even when the latter remains rude to him. This also pairs him well with his girlfriend Bee, who's also a Nice Girl.
  • Noble Wolf: He's a wolf-looking hellhound who is very protective of his boss and is very kind and easygoing to others, even her enemies.
  • Nothing Personal: He holds no personal animosity towards any of the main cast, saying that Verosika's personal beefs and feuds don't concern him because he's not paid enough to care. Vortex also ends up going so far as to invite Loona to a party his girlfriend plans on throwing. That being said, Vortex will still defend Verosika because he's being paid to defend her.
  • Oblivious to Love: Played with. He's seemingly unaware that Loona has a crush on him, likely due to already having a girlfriend, though he may actually be feigning it as a means to let her down gently.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: His job as Verosika's bodyguard is just that, a job. He's not paid enough to care about her personal beefs and is quite amicable with Loona and Blitzo when not on the clock.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Downplayed. He has red eyes in both his hellhound and human forms, and as Verosika's hellhound bodyguard he's not a person to mess with, but he's generally a nice guy, especially in comparison to his boss.
  • Rugged Scar: Has a scar over his left eye, and it simply makes him look even more badass and attractive.
  • Satellite Love Interest: A fairly undeveloped Nice Guy who exists more for the sake of Loona's development than his own.
  • Sweet Tooth: Given he likes to eat his girlfriend's cotton candy.
  • Tall, Dark, and Handsome: He's handsome enough by Hellhound standards for Loona to fall madly in love with him from appearance alone at first sight, and his human guise has him take the form of a very handsome and good-looking man.
  • Token Good Teammate: While his boss and co-workers are all various forms of unsavory, he's far more pleasant. He strikes up a genuine friendship with Loona (while also seeming oblivious to her rather obvious crush on him) and he offers to let her come along to a party so she can make friends, an offer he makes good on a few episodes later.
  • Top-Heavy Guy: He has a buff and well-built upper body, but regardless of what form he's currently in, his pelvis and legs are absolutely tiny by comparison.
  • Unequal Pairing: Vortex, a hellhound, which ranks below even imps in hells’ hierarchy, is dating Bee-Lzebub, who, although also a hellhound, is one of the seven deadly sins and ruler of the Gluttony Ring, who ranks just below Lucifer and the royal family and it's clear they're very considerate of each other.
  • When He Smiles: He's stand-offish looking in spite of his good looks due to him usually having a stern frown or having a focused look on his face, in and out of his human disguise, but when he smiles, he, ironically enough, due to being a demon, looks outright angelic.

Crimson's Mafia

    In General
A mafia organization that is stationed in the Greed Ring.
  • Bad Guys Play Pool: Seemingly a favorite pastime of Crimson’s goons in "Oops", where different members do it twice, once in Crimson’s office, and second in their hideout.
  • Equal-Opportunity Evil: Despite Crimson’s blatant bigotry and misogyny, he employes both gays and women, not to mention has a great number of different demon species working for him, who in turn, doesn’t seemingly mind being bossed around by an imp who’s that nasty, likely because he pays them.
  • Gayngster: More than a few of the members are confirmed (like Alessio) or implied to be gays, like the mobster who got hearts in his eyes at Fizzarolli’s impromptu singing number in "Oops".
  • Generic Ethnic Crime Gang: Very downplayed, when Crimson's mafia first appears in "Exes and Oohs", a lot of it's members are sharkdemons, with a few imps and hybrids sprinkled in. In "Oops" this is lost (possibly due to Millie's rampage) and they now include a far more diverse mix of demon species, imps, sharkdemons, reptilian (serpentine, crocodilian and lizardlike) and other demons whose species name hasn't been revealed yet.
  • Hired Guns: Seemingly their role in the series, Crimson sends them to die whenever he messes with I.M.P. or into a gang war.
  • Mook Horror Show: Both times Crimson has crossed I.M.P.’s path it ended with a large amount of his mooks dead, it borders on Curb-Stomp Battle because they were only fighting ONE member of the assassin quartet both times, with minimal help from others.
  • Villains Out Shopping: While “guarding” Fizzarolli and Blitzo in “Oops” the gangsters take their time playing pool, building cardhouses, betting, drinking or napping.

    Chaz

Chazwick "Chaz" Thurman

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chaz_78.png
Voiced by: Eric Schwartz (English),Foreign VAs

A shark demon mafioso who happens to be an ex that both Moxxie and Millie once dated before meeting each other.

  • Amazon Chaser: It's subtle, but Chaz has a boner while also being absolutely terrified while Millie is making viscera out of Crimson's goons.
  • And Then What?: The fourth step is literally labeled "???", meaning he didn't plan far ahead in conning Crimson.
  • Asshole Victim: Sure, he's funny and did look guilty over leaving Moxxie out to dry, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a perverted and obnoxious jackass who was planning on breaking up a Happily Married couple to get rich. Crimson having him killed isn't likely to get audience sympathy.
  • Attempted Homewrecker: He chases after Moxxie and Millie despite them being Happily Married to one another and hating his guts. Even worse, he's willing to manipulate Crimson in order to force Moxxie to marry him.
  • Bigger Is Better in Bed: Subverted. Despite it constantly being mentioned that he has a big dick, Blitzo remarks that he's actually bad in bed.
  • Bullying a Dragon: He tried to con both a team of professional hitmen and a mafia boss for the sake of profit. He even had a Missing Steps Plan where he tried to convince himself that this was all going to work out for him somehow, but it blew up in his face.
  • Casanova Wannabe: While he managed to seduce Moxxie and Millie in the past, by the time he makes an appearance he had burned both bridges spectacularly and both of them have nothing but contempt for him, no matter how hard he tries to win them over again. He only manages to do it with Blitzo and he only did it because he had sex with Moxxie and Millie, and even then Blitzo has nothing good to say about the experience.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: He's mentioned by Millie early on in the episode, with their brief encounter driving her into a rage. It later turns out that he dated Moxxie as well, and is trying to con his way into Crimson's crime family by pretending to be rich and marrying Moxxie.
  • Con Man: Tries to con his way into The Mafia by pretending to be rich and marrying Moxxie. It doesn't work.
  • Covered with Scars: From what we can see, Chaz has quite a few scars lining his body, most likely from his dangerous lifestyle.
  • Depraved Bisexual: He's slept with Moxxie, Millie and Blitzo, all three of which had led to the three of them hating him for one reason or another.
  • Didn't Think This Through: As evidenced by the Missing Steps Plan, he didn't exactly have an airtight plan for what to do after the wedding when Crimson found out that Chaz had been deceiving him about his massive wealth.
  • Disco Dan: He tries to win Moxxie over with a cheesy 90s-style R&B sex jam. It works about as well as you'd expect. When it fails, he tries to serenade Millie instead. It goes even worse than it did with Moxxie.
  • Dreadful Musician: Sure, he might do a somewhat so-so job with channeling George Michael, but his lousy lyrics are not going to win many people over. That is, when he can even remember them correctly...
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Though "evil" may arguably be stretching it, as he's just a lecherous sleazebag conman, not particularly evil in contrast to someone unquestionably evil, like Crimson. He genuinely looks broken up at having to leave Moxxie behind at the heist in the respective flashback, and he's visibly shocked when Crimson has Moxxie tased.
  • Exotic Equipment: Implied — one of his signs in his song says "Big Dicks", implying he has more than one. This might be a reference to a feature of real life shark anatomy.
  • Foil: To Blitzo. Both are obnoxious depraved pansexuals who desire to have sex with both Millie and Moxxie. The difference being that Blitzo never gets the chance to do so, while Chaz actually did get to not only have sex with each of the two, but have legitimate romantic relationships with them as well. Chaz also abandoned Moxxie, causing the latter to be thrown in jail, while Blitzo, though flawed and has a fickle relationship with Moxxie, very much cares for his well-being and will even go out of his way to save him.
  • Foreshadowing: When he brings up that he recently came into millions early on in the episode during the dinner scene, he shifts his eyes around suspiciously. It's revealed later that this was all a lie to trick Crimson into letting him into The Mafia so he could leech off the latter's money in an ill-planned scheme.
  • Gag Penis: There are multiple jokes of him having a huge dick and he will remind people of it at every opportunity.
  • Gold Digger: His real intentions for marrying Moxxie is so that Chaz can get his hands on Crimson's wealth, his own claims of striking it rich being one big lie. Crimson is less than pleased upon finding out about it.
  • Handsome Lech: Good looking enough to hook up with Millie, Moxxie and Blitzo at different points in their lives, and so incredibly lecherous that sleeping with them seems to be all he's into when profit isn't part of the equation.
  • Hated by All: No one in-universe seems to like him. Moxxie and Millie understandably hate him for being their ex (and Millie hates him even more after she learns what he put Moxxie through), and Crimson calls him a "friendless horse fucker" and an "obnoxious piss stain." Even Blitzo finds him annoying even before learning that he's terrible in bed and discovering his true intentions for marrying Moxxie, calling him a "seductive dickhole."
  • Hidden Depths: Possibly; a shallow, sleazy, selfish lech he may be, but Chaz does hesitate for a good moment and looks genuinely broken up about leaving Moxxie behind in the latter's own flashback, indicating he wasn't exactly keen on leaving him behind and may actually have possessed feelings for him beyond being a rampant horndog.
  • In Love with Your Carnage: After Millie's wedding massacre, Chaz is noticeably aroused. Seems he isn't much different from Moxxie in this respect.
  • In-Series Nickname: He's commonly called Chaz while his full name is Chazwick Thurman.
  • It's All About Me: Regardless of whether his feelings for Moxxie were genuine or not, Chaz's complete lack of respect for boundaries and inability to take "no" for an answer makes it obvious that Chaz's main priority will always be his own personal pleasure. Not only does he see nothing wrong with trying to split up a perfectly Happily Married couple (That consists of both of his exes, to boot) for the sake of his hare-brained Arranged Marriage scheme, he's also perfectly OK with his "husband to be" having to be literally dragged to the altar struggling, Bound and Gagged. A Freeze-Frame Bonus shows Chaz leering down at the terrified Moxxie with an almost sadistic grin on his face moments before Blitzo and Millie crash the wedding, clearly not caring one iota about Moxxie's distress and unhappiness as long as he gets what he wants.
  • Killed Off for Real: Crimson kills him for lying about being rich, then hangs his teeth up on the wall like a trophy. The "For Real" part is confirmed at the end, with an invokedIn Memoriam dedicated to him.
  • Killed Offscreen: Crimson kills him and hangs his jaws on his trophy room after Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie escape their grasp, all we get to see is him putting him his new decoration and an invokedIn Memoriam tribute to Chaz at the end of the credits.
  • Laughably Evil: He may be an asshole with a massive ego, but he's a funny asshole. This is in huge contrast to the merciless and abusive Crimson, whose misdeeds are portrayed in a much more serious manner.
  • Lean and Mean: He is a very noticeably tall and lanky jerk.
  • Leitmotif: Every time he speaks, it's backdropped by a sleazy sounding, funky R&B sex-jam instrumental. Every single time.
  • Lousy Lovers Are Losers: While he brags about being a Sex God, Blitzo claims that his time in the sack with him was one of his worst, soon discovering that Chaz's claims of having come into money are BS. The fact that he brags so much about his cock-size may also imply he's Compensating for Something.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: Downplayed. While he's popular with the audience (and seems to make it his goal to sleep with everyone he can), his ex-lovers don't tend to be very fond of him. He tries to barge into Moxxie's marriage, and Blitzo was clearly not impressed with his sexual performance.
  • Manchild: Chaz is very immature when it comes to sex and often makes very childish sex jokes. For a demon, he also acts like a party-addicted college frat boy even though it’s never stated how old he actually is.
  • Missing Steps Plan: His "Mastur Plan" that Blitzo discovers in his car is revealed to be a not very well thought out one, as it's made clear that Chaz has no idea what to do after he marries Moxxie, but assumes that it will nonetheless lead to profit.
    1. Rent Suit
    2. Convince Crim im Rich
    3. Marry Moxxie to get into family
    4. ???
    5. Profit $$$
  • Mock Millionaire: He manages to convince Crimson that he just became fabulously wealthy, when really, it's implied that he's been living in his car.
  • Narcissist: Every moment he has on screen illustrates that he has an inflated sense of self-importance. He thinks he's a Sex God with a Gag Penis when at best he's a Casanova Wannabe, thinking that his raw sexual magnetism is enough to seduce Moxxie and Millie (who, at that point, hate his guts), he plasters his image all over Moxxie's room, and he's dumb enough to think he can con a psychopath like Crimson with a Missing Steps Plan with no long-term repercussions.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain!: His ditching Moxxie actually helped Moxxie in the long run. Not only did going to prison result in Moxxie meeting Blitzo, it enabled him to finally get away from Crimson's influence (not to mention it also indirectly led to Moxxie meeting Millie, the love of his life).
  • No Sense of Personal Space: Chaz does not seem to have any sense of respect towards the boundaries of other people as he often gets awfully close towards Moxxie and Milllie even when they tell him that they want nothing to do with him.
  • "Oh, Crap!" Smile: How he reacts once Blitzo reveals he's not actually as wealthy as he claims. Considering his fate later, his reaction was very reasonable.
  • One Degree of Separation: Chaz and Moxxie had been dating back when Moxxie was an Aspiring Mafioso for Crimsons' Cartel until a robbery gone awry. Later on, Chaz managed to date Millie, which ended on horrible terms for the latter. By the time he meets them both up again, the pair have been Happily Married to each other for some time.
  • Really Gets Around: He brags that he typically has had sex with anyone in a room he's in at least once. Seeing as he once dated and slept with both Moxxie and Millie at different points in time, then later sleeps with Blitzo, this isn't entirely unfounded.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Beautiful!: He evidently attempts this, given that his eviction notice states whoever's written it doesn't care about the size of his dick. It can be inferred that he attempted to use his charm to get out of paying rent.
  • Shark Man: He's a shark demon. In particular, he appears to be a thresher shark based on his long tail fin which is distinct to this species.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The sign he holds up in Moxxie's flashback is a reference to Love Actually. Later segues into a Titanic reference, when he draws Moxxie like one of his French girls and Moxxie ends the flashback with "It's been 84 years". The last one gets lampshaded by Blitzo.
    • His Missing Steps Plan as written down is worded similarly to the Trope Codifier (and former Namer) from South Park.
  • Slimeball: Chaz is a self-serving, egotistical, manipulative jackass who's not as talented or sophisticated as he likes to present himself and practically oozes sleaze from every pore.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: He's convinced he's the most desirable guy around, and that he can scam a ruthless mobster with no problems at all.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He's introduced and killed in a single episode, but his actions still had a considerable impact on the series. Him abandoning Moxxie during their ill-fated heist led to Moxxie meeting Blitzo in prison, which likely never would have happened otherwise.
  • Smug Snake: He tried to trick the Mafia into thinking he's rich and marrying their son to get in. Not only did he fail, but the consequences he faced for it were dire.
  • STD Immunity: Averted. Moxxie claims Chaz has herpes, though Blitzo doesn't seem to mind.
  • Stupid Evil: Chaz proves himself to be a very incompetent villain due to the fact that he failed to premeditate on his villain plan and made it up as he went along as shown by his master plan list with his fourth step being labeled as "???". The fact that the victim of his poorly thought out con turns out to be a powerful mafia boss just shows how lacking in IQ Chaz is.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Chaz tried to con the mafia into thinking he was rich and loses his life and teeth for it. Even if the wedding had gone off without a hitch (so to speak), Crimson is a ruthless crime lord who killed his own wife and mother of his child. Just what did he THINK would happen when Crimson found out?
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: If Moxxie's flashback is anything to go by, Chaz was at one time a charming fellow and a caring partner (even if he did ultimately abandon Moxxie to the cops). In the present, he is a sleazy Casanova Wannabe who disgusts his former partners practically every time he speaks, and has little protest to Moxxie being forced to marry him.

    Alessio

Alessio

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alessio_8.png

Voiced by: Abe Goldfarb

Crimson's bodyguard and right-hand man, he's not much of a talker.

  • All There in the Script: His name was only revealed by Vivienne Medrano on social media, with him not speaking in "Oops" and Abe Goldfarb providing his voice in "Exes and Oohs" being included under his "additional voices by" credit for the episode.
  • Bodyguarding a Badass: Subverted somewhat, while Crimson is a feared Mafia boss, he’s not that badass of a character personally, leaving the vast amount of the action to his henchmen, which also means that Allesio doesn’t see much action as Crimson is largely ignored.
  • The Dragon: While not a major character, he serves this role for Crimson, as his bodyguard and most trusted subordinate.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: He almost never speaks, but when he does, it's in a deep raspy voice.
  • Five-Second Foreshadowing: An almost literal example, as when Moxxie tries to threaten Crimson the latter nods to Alessio, who promptly sneaks up on and tases Moxxie.
  • Lean and Mean: A very tall and bone-thin shark demon who also acts as the bodyguard to one of the most ruthless villains in the show.
  • Not So Stoic: It's subtle, but in "Oops" during Fizz's "Look At This" song where he sings in Italian, which is just him singing random Italian and Italian sounding words, Crimson's men are lost in Inelegant Blubbering from the beauty of the "song", and Alessio, while stone-faced as usual, has visible tears in his eyes.
  • Personal Mook: In addition to being a bodyguard Alessio is something of a butler to Crimson.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: His glowing red eyes help make him more intimidating than the other sharks in Crimson's employ.
  • Scars Are Forever: Alessio has several cuts in his tail and even a fishhook piercing it.
  • Shark Man: He's specifically a bull shark demon.
  • Sole Survivor: The only one of Crimson's goons who survives Millie's massacre in "Exes and Oohs".
  • Static Stun Gun: He uses one on Moxxie to knock him out in "Exes and Oohs".
  • The Stoic: He spends most of his screen time standing by Crim's side, still as a statue, rarely speaks and shows virtually no outward emotion. This becomes downplayed slightly in his second appearance when he's angry at Fizzarolli and Blitzo escaping their cage, and then during Fizzarolli's impromptu song number, where he's continuously baffled at the jesters' antics, or impressed with his performance.
  • Straight Gay: Surprisingly, the show's official Pride Month 2024 post implies that Alessio is gay. We can assume that either Crimson doesn't know about this, or he knows but is willing to put his homophobia aside as Alessio usually keeps quiet.
  • Theme Naming: According to Vivienne Medrano, his name was picked to make a thematic pair with Crimson's — Crim n' Al, like "criminal".
  • Undying Loyalty: He is really dedicated to Crimson, even if he doesn't do much on screen to show it, the most he does is place his hand over his boss's chest to protect him from a collapsing warehouse.

    Crimson's Lawyer
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/20240328_080540.jpg
The man and his papers.
Voiced by: Abe Goldfarb

Crimson's lawyer who heads the negotiations between him and Asmodeus for Fizzarolli's ransom.

  • Amoral Attorney: If being a shark demon working for a mafioso wasn't enough of an indication. The first contract he presents regarding the ransom on Fizzarolli involves legally taking pretty much everything Asmodeus owns while still killing Fizz. While the lawyer claims it was just to ensure Asmodeus and Stolas were paying attention, he unveils a mountain of paperwork that is the real contract to waste their time.
  • Asshole Victim: He's an arrogant and corrupt lawyer who tries to trick Asmodeus into signing a contract that will allow Crimson to legally turn Fizzarolli into a trophy while taking advantage of the leverage he has over the Prince of Lust to almost constantly taunt him throughout the whole deal. No tears have to be shed for him when Asmodeus and Fizz get their revenge on him.
  • Bullying a Dragon: He acts smug and makes the entirety of their negotiation as annoying for Asmodeus — who is one of the Seven Deadly Sins — as possible, confident that he has him in a no-win situation. Asmodeus turns the tables on him very quickly once Fizzarolli makes it back alive.
  • Comical Coffee Cup: Drinks from a coffee mug labelled "Live Laugh Law".
  • Did You Just Scam Cthulhu?: He almost got Asmodeus to sign the original draft of Crimson's contract where not only would Crimson gain possession of all of Asmodeus' assets, including his factories and riches, but he'd be legally allowed to make a trophy out of Fizzarolli, rendering the entire contract pointless. If Stolas hadn't been there, it'd probably have ended pretty badly for Ozzie.
  • Didn't See That Coming: Things might've gone smoothly for him if Striker hadn't kidnapped Blitzo, who helps Fizz escape from their captors. His plan to get Asmodeus to impulsively sign away all of his assets and ensure Fizzarolli's death also would have worked had Stolas not been there to read it over.
  • Evil Is Petty: Wastes as much time as possible and ticks Asmodeus off at every turn just because he can. He barely lives long enough to regret it after Fizzarolli returns home.
  • Evil Old Folks: He's an elderly-looking shark demon who's a crooked lawyer working for one of Greed's biggest crime bosses.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: If he hadn't gone out of his way to waste any more of Ozzie's time than he really had to, he might've gotten him to sign the contract before Fizzarolli made it back home on his own, and then maybe Ozzie would not have been angry enough to kill him afterwards.
  • Killed Offscreen: Courtesy of Asmodeus and Fizzarolli.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: He needlessly drags out negotiations with Asmodeus, taking his sweet time reading the latest draft of the contract just to irritate him. This lasts just long enough for Fizzarolli to return on his own, leaving the lawyer in a room with an angry Prince of Hell who no longer has any reason to keep him alive.
  • No Name Given: His name is never given in or out of story.
  • Oh, Crap!: His reaction upon seeing Fizz barge in through the door into the office, meaning he has lost any leverage over Asmodeus, he lost all chances to get a good contract out of him, and there's no longer anything stopping Ozzie from obliterating him right there.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here!: He tries to hightail it out of the office upon Fizzarolli's return, realizing that he's lost his edge against Asmodeus. He doesn't get far due to wasting his time packing his paperwork away.
  • Smug Snake: He's cocky enough to think that the leverage he has over Asmodeus allows him to poke the bear as much as he wants. Predictably, it doesn't end well for him once Fizzarolli's escape renders everything null and void.
  • Stupid Evil: All he had to do was get Asmodeus to sign the contract surrendering all his assets to Crimson while allowing the mafia boss to do whatever he wants with Fizzarolli’s life. Even with Stolas's revised contract where only some of said assets would be given and Fizz would be saved from becoming a trophy, it still would've been a victory. Instead, the lawyer decides to needlessly stall the negotiations for the sake of antagonizing Asmodeus believing that there won't be any repercussions due to the leverage he has over the Prince of Lust, resulting in Fizz and Blitzo escaping captivity on their own, Crimson losing more of his own men and assets in the ensuing chaos, and the deal being rendered null and void. If Asmodeus and Fizz hadn't killed him, Crimson probably would have for being the one to screw everything up for him.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Not only does he smugly antagonize one of the most powerful demons in Hell with only one form of leverage, he wastes precious time he could have used to escape by packing up all his paperwork.

Miscellaneous

Recurring Characters

    Wally Wackford

Wally Wackford

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wally_pose.png
"Name's Wally Wackford, and I am looking for creative new people to exploit! I mean, employ..."
Voiced by: Don Darryl Rivera (English)Foreign VAs

A recurring imp businessman with a very distinctive Southern United States accent who often has jobs involving selling things.

  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: He outright admits that his Wacky Idea "Factory" exists so he can make money off people's ideas and inventions, and even emphasizes how desperate he is.
  • Alliterative Name: Wally Wackford.
  • Ambiguously Gay: He's included on the Pride Month image the crew released in 2024, but had no flag colors anywhere on his person. When asked about it, the crew said that Wally's identity is "silly little guy, which doesn't have a flag yet, but should".
  • Bad Boss: He'd likely be a horrid boss if he actually had any employees. When trying to recruit Loopty and Lyle to work for him, he explicitly says he plans to exploit their talents for his benefit, and he states in his commercial that he fully intends to take all the credit and profit from others' ideas.
  • Bespectacled Cutie: Justified, when Wally was a little kid, an impling, he used large glasses that accentuated his eyes and helped make his looks conventionally adorable.
  • The Bus Came Back: After being absent from most of season 2, he returns for a quick speaking cameo in "MAMMON’S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)".
  • Dastardly Whiplash: While far from the most evil character in the show, he's a shifty and duplicitous man with a black top-hat and curly mustache.
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: A Downplayed example. He first appeared in the second episode of the series, but was not wearing his signature hat.
  • Expy: His name, attire, eccentric personality, and mannerisms hearken to Willy Wonka.
  • Freudian Slip: In his attempt to hire Lipton and Loopty for their robotics skills, he says he looks for "people to exploit", before backpedaling to say "employ".
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: His job at Loo Loo Land, selling "inconvenient torches", end up accidentally burning down the park, putting him out of a job and forcing him to set up a sales business out of desperation for ANY money.
  • Laughing at Your Own Jokes: He makes a joke about Blitzo’s operation being “holey” in regard to both their recent encounter with angels and that other demons continue to smash through the office walls. Wally’s rolling around on the floor in laughter and even repeats the joke, though no one joins him.
  • Lean and Mean: Downplayed, he’s a slender hellborn demon who is perfectly willing to exploit others for money, but he’s never explicitly shown to do that or much in the way of evil or even mean for that matter.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: References how Out of Focus he's been in "Ghostfuckers", wherein he notes he hasn't seen I.M.P. in a while.
  • Mandatory Line: In some episodes, he gets a line of dialogue solely to remind everyone that he exists.
  • Meaningful Name: His name evokes Wackford Squeers from Nicholas Nickleby, fitting with his "Victorian melodrama villain" attire and manner of speaking.
  • New Job as the Plot Demands: A fully justified example. He originally sold "inconvenient torches" at Loo Loo Land, but after he accidentally burns down the park with said torches, he was forced to set up his own sales business where he desperately begs people to let him make money off their ideas. In "The Moon Harvest Festival", he appears serving as the titular festival's announcer, then later in "OZZIE'S" he works at the eponymous location as the bartender. Then in "Apology Tour", he is seen working for Verosika and happily selling "I H8 Blitzo" merchandise on the lawn outside where the party is held to the guests.
  • Recurring Extra: He's a minor recurring character who's always working a different job whenever he appears.
  • Stealing the Credit: He openly admits to intending to do this with anyone who chooses to work with him.
  • Verbal Tic: Highlighting his distinctive Southern accent, he has a tendency of saying "I say, I say" or some similar variation of it in a manner similar to Foghorn Leghorn.
  • Villain in a White Suit: He wears a fancy, mostly-white ensemble, but he’s more a nuisance than an actual villain.
  • Younger Than They Look: Downplayed — a flashback in "MAMMON’S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)" suggests that Wally Wackford is a little younger than Blitzo and Fizzarolli.

    Striker

Striker

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/renderedstriker.png
"Don't worry, little one. You never stood a chance."
Voiced by: Norman Reedus (season 1), Edward Bosco (season 2)Foreign VAs

An imp who's initially introduced in "The Harvest Moon Festival" as an extremely talented farmhand that Millie's family hired to help on the ranch. In reality, he's an assassin who was hired to kill Stolas... by his own wife.

  • The Ace: He shows himself to be a capable athlete, musician, and especially assassin, and he's smart and charismatic to boot. He exploits this to an obnoxious degree just to spite Moxxie.
  • All There in the Script: In Striker's debut episode, he's introduced riding on a Hellish Horse. While his horse isn't named in the actual episode, a member of the show's crew revealed in a tweet that the horse's name is Bombproof. This would be confirmed in the episode "Mastermind", where Striker has written a note mentioning him.
  • Always Someone Better:
    • To Moxxie, which the latter lampshades after the Pain Games. Both are skilled combatants and proficient with firearms, but while Moxxie mainly uses guns to make up for a lack of physical muscle, Striker has both the firepower and the strength to back it up. Moxxie reassures himself that at least he's good at singing... Only for Striker to whip out a guitar and sing a song about how great he is and how much Moxxie sucks.
    • He finds himself victim to this trope against Blitzo. While Striker has similar physical skills and is an equally deadly assassin, Blitzo proves craftier and more physically nimble in each of their faceoffs. Striker's credibility also takes an ongoing nose dive as a result of the latter's sabotages, while Blitzo's status has only risen throughout the course of the series. By the time of "Oops", Striker is straight up losing his mind from Blitzo and his team constantly outdoing him.
  • Ambiguously Bi: While it's implied he has a certain degree of attraction to Millie, his attempt at getting Blitzo to join his side has flirtatious undertones. Though it isn't clear if this is Pragmatic Pansexuality or him being a Depraved Bisexual. Even after the sexualities of a good portion of the cast are confirmed by a Twitter post for Pride 2024, he's not included, apparently on the logic that he wouldn't participate in a Pride Parade to begin with, so the jury's still out.
  • Ambition Is Evil: Striker isn't satisfied with just being a skilled imp, or even an assassin, his speech to Blitzo indicates he has aspirations for rising to the top of Hell's hierarchy.
  • Animal Motifs: Rattlesnakes, as shown by him making noises similar to rattling when he's about to go on the attack. He's also got two gold teeth that are slightly bigger than the rest of his teeth, and in the same position and shape as a snake's fangs.
  • Ax-Crazy: Has a disturbing Slasher Smile while trying to strangle Moxxie to death.
  • Badass Normal: As far as demons go, Striker has no real superpowers. He's just strong, fast and tough.
  • Beard of Evil: True to his whole "Evil Cowboy motif", he has a Lee Van Cleef-style mustache.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Goetia royalty really seems to set him off. He goes after Stolas in "The Harvest Moon Festival" and in "Western Energy", and makes it clear both times that he despises royalty in Hell as a matter of course. Meanwhile, a "Not So Different" Remark from Fizzarolli that Striker is no better than any royal in "OOPS" causes Striker to grab Fizzarolli by the throat, coming just moments away from killing him before Crimson tells Striker to knock it off.
    • By the time of "Oops", he's getting really tired of his targets being Too Kinky to Torture.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Striker seems like a friendly fellow, if a little competitive. Then we learn that he's a vicious hitman out to kill Stolas on Stella's dime.
  • Boomerang Bigot: He makes a few comments that imply that he hates most imps despite being one himself, even giving Blitzo a speech with You Are a Credit to Your Race elements when trying to recruit him.
  • Broken Ace: By the time of "Oops", it's clear that his recurring losses to I.M.P have taken their toll on his psyche. As a result, Striker has become more unhinged and open about his hatred for the aristocracy.
  • Broken Pedestal: Becomes one for Blitzo (who was impressed enough to consider hiring him) after it's revealed that he's out to assassinate Stolas.
  • The Bully: Goes out of his way to humiliate and upstage Moxxie every chance he can from the moment they meet, from goading him into trying to slay a giant hog for dinner so he could show Moxxie up after, to singing a "The Hero Sucks" Song after Mox got licked in the Pain Games.
  • Can't Take Criticism: He has shades of this, as Striker gets increasingly agitated by Stolas pointing out that it’s cliché to tie him to train tracks, which Striker, annoyed, calls a classic, and then absolutely seethes when asked if his narcissistic statue himself is also a classic. Additionally, in "OOPS", when Fizzarolli points out that Striker's arrogance makes him no different from the nobles he loathes, Striker promptly threatens him and most likely would have killed him had Crimson not reminded him that they needed Fizz at the moment.
  • Chick Magnet: Maybe by virtue of doing very well in the Pain Games at the Harvest Festival or his suave character, voice and looks, Striker attracts imp women easily. This is only amplified when he whips out a guitar to sing for a crowd to celebrate his victory in the games.
  • Cold-Blooded Torture: In "Western Energy", Striker is more than happy to inflict physical pain unto Stolas, stabbing him repeatedly, stepping in his wounds and even breaking his bones, though he, much to his chagrin and revulsion, initially didn’t have much luck. To Striker's satisfaction however, he had more luck when he tried the mental route by implicitly threatening Octavia, and Striker was more than happy to continue the torture after he’d been told that Stella wanted Stolas alive, but didn’t specify unharmed, clearly intending to gouge out Stolas' eyes for a keepsake.
  • The Comically Serious: Season Two onwards, Striker is still a threatening bloodthirsty antagonist who takes himself very seriously. This of course only makes it sting worse when the craziness around him undermines it all. He especially loathes how often his Cold-Blooded Torture converts into a kink for his victims.
  • Corrupted Character Copy: Striker is a corrupt copy of Rattlesnake Jake from Rango. The two of them are skilled Cowboys and gun shooters that serve the villain while antagonizing the heroes, and both of them are talented and charismatic. However, the key difference is that despite Striker's skills and talents and his hatred of hell’s nobility, it became clear that he is mostly a sellout who cannot live up to his crafted legend. At the same time, Rattlesnake Jake is the real deal in that he is skilled enough to take on his opponents and live up to his reputation. Striker has no nobility underneath his charisma, making it clear that he’s nothing but a petty bully. In contrast, despite  Rattlesnake Jake's ruthlessness, he genuinely has a code of honor. Despite his hatred of Hell's nobility, Striker is entirely submissive to them. At the same time, Rattlesnake Jake is more fearsome and greater than the person who hired him, and eventually kills that person when he crosses him. Basically, Striker is what Rattlesnake Jake is if Rattlesnake Jake were one of those frauds and liars he hates so much.
  • Cowboy: He's certainly got the look down. And his entry involves him riding a Hellish Horse, followed by wrangling a wild beast and killing it.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Strongly implied in "Western Energy". His Motive Rant at Stolas makes it clear that his hatred is far more personal than just hating their privilege over him.
Striker: (to Stolas) Look, not every ring can be some fancy ass city with fancy ass mansions that only fancy ass royals get to live in. Some of us have hard lives to live. And some of us have had everything we care about taken away by fuckers like you!
  • Deconstructed Character Archetype: Of the Unknown Rival. While he manages to leave a decent impact in his first appearance, it's clear by Season Two that the rivalry between Striker and Blitzo is So Last Season for the latter, who has bigger more personal problems to attend to. True to the trope, the refusal to treat Striker as anything more than another episodic nuisance inevitably leads to a lot of comedic knocks to his ego. However, it also gets treated as much a mistake on Blitzo's part, as it leads to Striker becoming increasingly more dangerous and unfettered in his quest for vengence, and more instances Blitzo realises taking Striker lightly risked grave consequences. This is especially apparent with Stolas, who not only gets scarred from his abduction by Striker, but is clearly upset that Blitzo not only didn't come rescue him in favour of getting Loona his Hellbies shot, but didn't even bother to warn Stolas that Striker was targeting him in the first place.
  • The Dragon: In all his appearances he is hired by the episode's main antagonist. The end of "The Harvest Moon Festival" reveals him to be Stella's. She hired him to kill Stolas out of revenge for his affair with Blitzo, and continues serving this role in the second season. He later attempts to hire his services to Crimson when the hit on Stolas is temporarily called off at the behest of Andrealphus, who later hires Striker for his own services of a phony testimony during I.M.P. and Stolas' Kangaroo Court.
  • Dragon with an Agenda: Striker works under contract for Stella, but his pitch to Blitzo in "The Harvest Moon Festival" reveals he has ambitions beyond just being a hired gun; he wants to ascend Hell's social hierarchy by killing off demon royalty and becoming The Dreaded to them. "Western Energy" elaborates that Striker's goals are fueled by a seething hatred of Hell's upper crust, and his rant to Stolas implies that this disdain is rooted in a past of personal mistreatment at their hands.
  • Eat the Rich: He really doesn't like Hell's royalty. His We Can Rule Together speech to Blitzo in "The Harvest Moon Festival" indicates Striker's overall plan is to kill all of Hell's upper crust, including his employer Stella.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: Several male imps are seen swooning during his song, not to mention Blitzo is practically salivating over him for a good portion of the episode.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He's not interested in sexual torture or anything that might imply, showing disgust on multiple occasions when his opponents announce how aroused they feel as he tries to kill them. This culminates in "Oops" during his Villainous Breakdown and Fizzarolli stating he's getting hard, causing Striker to ask what's wrong with everyone.
Fizz: Is it weird that I'm getting hard?
Striker: SHUT THE FUCK UP! WHY'S IT ALWAYS A SEX THING?!
  • Evil Counterpart: It's more Antagonistic Counterpart, but he and Blitzo have more then a few parallels. Both are unusually tall imps who work as assassins, both demonstrate feats of great physical prowess, both are very good with guns, both are significantly more dangerous than they seem at first glance (albeit for different reasons), both pick on Moxxie, and both work for Goetian royalty. Striker himself notes the similarities between them, and cites them as part of his We Can Rule Together pitch towards Blitzo.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Edward Bosco's performance gives Striker a voice that's much deeper than Norman Reedus's.
  • Evil Sounds Raspy: Both Norman Reedus and Edward Bosco give Striker a raspy, gravelly voice. It's particularly evident with Reedus's performance, but Bosco certainly doesn't give Striker any shortage of rasp.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: Unlike most imps, Striker has a circular pattern in his yellow eyes.
  • Expy: Carolina Páez says in this tweet that, among other well-known western villains, Striker is inspired by Rattlesnake Jake from Rango. Many fans caught onto this before the tweet was posted, drawing parallels between the two. In "The Harvest Moon Festival", Norman even seems to channel some Bill Nighy in the scenes where Striker drops the charming farmhand act.
  • Fatal Flaw: Wrath. He's an exceptionally skilled fighter and bounty hunter, but tends to sadistically draw out his kills whenever he thinks he can get away with it, which tends to backfire.
    • In his first appearance, he looms over Moxxie instead of just going for the easy kill, which allows Millie to backstab Striker. While Striker survives this, he ties up Moxxie and Millie instead of killing them once again, wasting time he could have been using to get them out of the way or to go after his target.
    • In his second appearance, Striker spends most of the episode with Stolas at his mercy but wastes time venting his grudges over the Goetia instead of finishing the job.
    • Comes back to bite him again in "OOPS," where Striker first tries to throttle Fizz after his Berserk Button is pressed, which earns him a chewing-out from Crimson, and then later has the jester at his mercy a second time but chooses to rub it in Blitzo's face long enough to get distracted by his own hostage.
  • Faux Affably Evil: While he certainly knows how to turn on the charm, he's a deeply ruthless individual willing to kill people he genuinely respects with only superficial regrets. He's far less pleasant in his later appearances, where he spends less time trying to schmooze his clients and becomes increasingly deranged from I.M.P. ruining his jobs.
  • Foil: To Blitzo. They're both imps looking to rise above the station their race is stuck in through becoming assassins, both enjoy mocking Moxxie, and have a similar taste in old-fashioned pistols (Blitzo's flintlock and Striker's revolver) and sniper rifles. But while Blitzo has a (more or less) positive relationship with the Goetia family and was born and raised in the city, Striker seems to have been raised in Wrath, and has an Eat the Rich mentality. They also have opposing benefactors: Blitzo gets access to Stolas's grimoire through his relationship with Stolas, while Striker seems to get his blessed weapons through his contract with Stella, Stolas's wife.
  • For the Evulz: Kills for payment, but he’s a Psycho for Hire who loves to kill. That, and when he has to kill witnesses, he does it slowly with a Slasher Smile, for no other reason but for his own sadistic enjoyment.
  • Freudian Excuse: His rant to Stolas about how people like the Goetias trample on common folk strongly implies Striker did not have a very pleasant time prior to becoming the hitman he is today.
  • Genius Bruiser: Striker is extremely strong and durable, being able to shrug off multiple stabs to the back, go toe to toe with Blitzo, and hold onto Bombproof as they jump down to the depths of his cave and he lassoes train tracks. However, he's also a good manipulator who uses Obfuscating Stupidity and nearly sways Blitzo to his side despite being caught off guard. He becomes even more deadly when he combines the two, such as when he uses his surroundings to knock Millie off his back or when he uses the stalactites in his cave as makeshift flails.
  • Good Hair, Evil Hair: Sports a thin mustache, characteristic of a Wild West villain.
  • Good Scars, Evil Scars: Thanks to Blitzo blowing him up in "Oops" Striker received some burns, one of which forms a white mark right around his left eye.
  • Hate at First Sight: Seems to have it out for Moxxie and wastes no time antagonizing the poor imp from the word "go." Given his disdain for most other imps as weak and inferior and Moxxie being Weak, but Skilled, it's likely he sees Moxxie as a walking example of everything he hates about his own kind.
  • Hates Rich People: He despises the Goetias, thinking of them as elitist bastards who trod over imps like him. While he isn't wrong in that respect, his point is undermined by the fact that he's working for Stella, a Goetia.
  • The Heavy: Whether he's working for Stella or Crimson, Striker takes the role of primary opponent for I.M.P, who unlike most other opponents, has survived to fight them again. A justified case, as Stella is a noble and hires lower-ranking demons to do the dirty work for her, whilst Crimson is a Dirty Coward crime boss who leaves the fighting to his goons.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Had Striker not treated Moxxie the way he did, Moxxie most likely wouldn't have even stumbled upon his Carmine-crafted rifle and subsequently thwarted his plans to kill Stolas.
  • Holy Hand Grenade: He owns a Carmine-crafted, blessing-tipped sniper rifle capable of killing demon royalty. He also owns a similarly blessed revolver and a blessed rope. He loses the former to Moxxie while getting away while the latter ends up destroyed by Millie in a fight later on.
  • Hypocrite:
    • His hateful rant regarding Hell royals being a bunch of privileged snobs who walk all over hard-working, lower-class imps like him gets torn down by Stolas pointing out that he's working for a royal. Though given his look of annoyance and disappointment after Stella ordered him to keep Stolas alive, it's very heavily implied that Striker would be very willing to target Stella herself if she wasn’t bankrolling him.
    • When he goes on another anti-noble rant declaring Blitzo and Fizz race traitors, the latter points out that by declaring himself as superior, he isn't all that different from the elitist aristocrats.
    • For all he derides Blitzo and Fizz as race traitors and disappointments to their kind, Striker himself proves willing to play into the classist system he so hates when he gleefully assists Andrealphus in framing Blitzo as the mastermind behind his attempts on Stolas' life, knowing full well that — being an imp — this accusation will cost Blitzo his life.
  • Hypocrite Has a Point: While Striker's not helping his case by working for a royal (and one that is very openly racist and classist against imps no less), he's not wrong that much of the upper class does mistreat and abuse lower class demons. Striker's personal Berserk Button is Goetia royalty constantly talking down to imps and those in the lower classes, which he's quite correct about, given what the audience has seen of the upper class.
  • I Didn't Mean to Turn You On: Comes with being a bounty hunter whose targets like being threatened and beat up. By the third episode he's in, he's absolutely sick of everyone responding to potential or actual violence by getting turned on.
Striker: Why is it ALWAYS a sex thing?!
  • Ignored Enemy: Striker's personal vendetta with Blitzo increases and gets more unhinged with each defeat. However, while Blitzo doesn't underestimate Striker's prowess per se, he's not only made bigger more powerful enemies, but clearly has much more concerning things on his personal agenda over a rivalry. In "Western Energy" he forgoes facing Striker altogether over giving Loona her Hellbies shot, sending Millie and Moxxie to rescue Stolas instead (though does contemplate this decision when he realises Striker was able to genuinely harm Stolas). When Striker captures him and Fizzaroli in "Oops", Blitzo's reaction is a comically bellegered Oh, No... Not Again!. While Striker sees Blitzo as his bitter Arch-Enemy, Blitzo sees Striker at best as a Not-So-Harmless Villain who won't take an L.
  • Insistent Terminology: Fervently insists that things like tying people to railroad tracks are "classics", not cliches.
  • Jerkass to One: He's pretty good at hiding his true nature around others but he's extremely petty and demeaning to Moxxie right out of the gate. He even makes up a song about how much better he is than Moxxie with lyrics directly insulting him.
  • Karma Houdini: After the events of "Mastermind", Striker has been granted amnesty for his past attempts to assassinate Stolas in exchange for testifying against Blitzo, successfully lying in court to cover up for his real employer. However, it counts as a Meaningless Villain Victory.
  • Knight of Cerebus:
    • Once his true agenda comes to light, everything about Striker is played seriously in stark contrast to the show's comedic tone. He's also the first villain to end an episode still in a position to continue their plan and setting up future conflicts.
    • Subverted in "Western Energy". While he's still taken seriously at various points in the episode, his narcissistic behavior is mocked by Stolas and is given a somewhat tongue-in-cheek theme song. Even his initial attempts at torturing Stolas is made less serious by Stolas constantly comparing Striker's stabbing to Blitzo's sexual encounters in bed. That said, he did seriously injure Stolas, leading to a Downer Ending of Stolas going to the hospital that is decisively NOT played for laughs.
    • Subverted further in "Mastermind", where, in an otherwise intense episode, he has only a brief comedic role fumbling his testimony in court, requiring script from the even more Laughably Evil Andrealphus.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em:
    • In "Harvest Moon Festival", he was struggling enough fighting Blitzo and Moxxie at the same time; when Loona shows up, he decides to cut his losses and escape. After finally seeing Loona in action in "Truth Seekers", it would seem he made the right call.
    • Does this again in "Western Energy"; by that point, Millie has recovered her axe, Moxxie took Striker's lasso, and he was likely still somewhat injured by his statue falling on him.
    • Goes for a third time in "OOPS" after Blitzo has set fire to him, and the entire surrounding scrapyard, and Blitzo still has a gun.
  • Laughably Evil: Downplayed. Striker is a generally serious character, but some humor is wrung from his sardonic personality, narcissism, and his bewilderment at the eccentric personalities that surround him, especially by Season Two.
  • Laughing Mad: In "Oops," where he's clearly at the end of his tether, Striker lets off an unhinged cackle while holding Fizz hostage.
  • Light Is Not Good: He has light skin, uses holy weapons, and wears a white jacket, and he's a dangerous assassin.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Strong and agile enough to fight two demon assassins at once and shrugs off multiple slash and stab wounds in the lower back from Millie that would have outright killed a normal imp like it was nothing.
  • Made of Iron: He was barely shaken getting a lamp knocked onto his head, and while he cried out in pain the first time Millie stabbed him, he took her next few stabs to the back relatively well, and proceeded to break her arm and walk it off with apparently no real harm done. Just a bit later, he gets bitten by Blitzo, and receives a pretty vicious round of blows from him, but still manages to escape, and doesn’t seem to be any worse for wear in the last scene. Perhaps it can be chalked up to him being a Demon, many of whom have demonstrated exceptional resilience to injury, but it seems especially true of him.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Mockingly calls Blitzo by Stolas' pet name for him, "Blitzy", just before he jumps out the window and disappears out into the night. Unlike Verosika and Fizzarolli's examples of this trope, which emphasize Blitzo's dissatisfaction with his past and attempts to distance himself from it, Striker's use emphasizes something Blitzo is dissatisfied with at his present point in life.
  • Manly Facial Hair: Sports a small mustache that emphasizes his strength and toughness.
  • Meaningful Name: His design evokes snakes (rattlesnakes, specifically) and he's called Striker.
  • Meaningless Villain Victory: While promised immunity for testifying against Blitzo, Striker still gets a horribly raw deal compared to Stella and Andrealphus, as I.M.P., his hated rivals, not only escape execution but are seen as paragons by the rest of Hell's lower class, while the upperclassmen he resents working for end up reaping all the rewards and will likely have no further need for him now that they got what they wanted. His one solace is that he helped in getting Stolas dethroned, meaning he finally managed to get a Goetia (the one he had a personal grudge against no less) kicked to the curb in some regard.
  • Mysterious Past: Not much is known about Striker nor his hatred toward Demon Royalty, but there are hints. In "Western Energy", he mentioned how royals would treat the lower class and take what little they had. His hideout showed stuff you normally find at a Western motel.
  • A Nazi by Any Other Name: He's called a supremacist by Blitzo In-Universe, due to regularly espousing the strengths of "his kind" and considering Blitzo and Fizzarolli category traitors for daring to be in any kind of relationship with demon royalty.
  • Non-Human Humanoid Hybrid: According to official sources, Striker is an "Imp hybrid", though whether he's half or partial Imp, or what other kind of demon heritage he's got has yet to be confirmed.
  • Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond: Striker's pitch to Blitzo has him aspire to use his angelic weapons to take out overlords, becoming among the most powerful entities in Hell. It is a "good pitch". The problem is, in a world where even lower-ranking Sinners like Sir Pentious can purchase crateloads of angelic weapons from Carmilla Carmine, Striker's tiny arsenal of angelic pistols and rifle stand little chance at outgunning anyone significant unless via ambush. Sinners and other high-ranking demons are also immortal by default, and often have powerful magical abilities, whereas imps are mortal and we've only seen them use some low-level Playing with Fire powers. Striker may be exceptional by imp standards, but there is little chance of him actually becoming what he aspires to be in the grand scheme of things.
  • Not So Above It All:
    • He's generally just sinister and malicious, but he's apparently narcissistic enough to have a tall statue of himself in his lair that has a very visible erection. He also comically recoils in disgust when Moxxie seems to get turned on by him choking the life out of him.
    • He's much more of a No-Nonsense Nemesis compared to Crimson's bumbling goons and even Crimson himself in "Oops", to the extent he's the only one seeing through parts of Fizzaroli's "Look At This" distraction. The exception being when Fizz directs the goons to an empty corner of the room. While everyone else looks confused, Striker is giving a hilariously ponderous look as if he's trying to understand the message behind it.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Striker refers to “free-lance” as free work when meeting Millie, but he almost immediately after proves knowledgeable in the field of business when complimenting Blitzo, since Striker knows that most imps don’t start their own enterprises. This is most likely to fit in at the ranch and not rouse any suspicion.
  • Only Sane by Comparison: Striker isn't exactly sane, but he's one of the few to get confused by and actually acknowledge the eccentricities and crass sexuality of the people around him, and the general surrealness of the world he lives in.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • A Downplayed example. Despite being an Ax-Crazy violent killer, he doesn't shoot the tiny imp mariachis despite them getting on his nerves, instead he only yells at them.
    • He seems to genuinely care for his horse Bombproof. In "Mastermind" he has a note on his glove to take him to the vet.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain:
    • He is referred to in-universe a "supremacist" for wholly upholding Hell's caste system and looking down upon imps despite being one himself.
    • He is heavily implied to be homophobic due to Morgana Ignis stating that he wouldn't be the type to join a Pride Parade, how uncomfortable he is with Blitzo and Fizz's sex jokes, and is disgusted when Moxxie tells him to "choke him harder".
  • Prehensile Tail: The longest-tailed imp in the series as of his debut, and more than willing to use it in combat via choking out Moxxie and wielding a knife against Blitzo's back.
  • Psycho for Hire: Striker loves his job, especially when he gets to kill those weaker then himself.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Has a minor one in "OOPS" after he captures and holds Fizzarolli at gunpoint, as Striker can’t stand the thought of I.M.P foiling him again, cackling maniacally whilst gloating that he’ll enjoy killing Fizzarolli for having a relationship with Asmodeus, and nearly kills Fizzarolli when he comments that being threatened like that is giving him an erection.
  • Reptiles Are Abhorrent: Not only does he evoke rattlesnakes, he also has a face similar to that of a lizard or a crocodile. He's also a deeply ruthless criminal.
  • The Rival: He self appoints himself one to Blitzo, though while he can get under Blitzo's skin, he usually sees Striker as merely another obssessive who can't take an L. As such, his more legitimate rivalry is with Moxxie, as Striker's exceptional fondness for belittling the imp leaves the latter with a bone to pick. When it's clear that Blitzo isn't interested in settling scores with Striker in "Western Energy", Moxxie vigorously offers to go in his place for this reason.
  • Running Gag: Starting season 2, every time he makes a threat or try to kill someone, they make a remark about how they're turned on by it. He lampshades this in "Oops" after Fizzarolli notes he's getting hard while being held at gunpoint.
Striker: (exasperated) WHY IS IT ALWAYS A SEX THING!?
  • Sadist: He's shown to approach fighting with extreme gusto when his opponent is evenly matched with him, like Blitzo, but when they aren't, he positively revels in taking them down slowly.
  • Sanity Slippage: By the end of "Oops", it's clear that Striker is slowly losing it due to his losses to IMP and wanting to kill Fizzarolli purely to spite both Blitzo and Ozzie, even though that would no doubt put a huge target on his back.
  • Shrine to Self: His hideout includes a giant statue of himself (with a very visible, oversized erection) and a rundown horse-cart that's called “Striker’s bar” with a disproportionally large flashy sign.
  • Slasher Smile: Striker sports a downright terrifying one when he twists Blitzo’s arm to point a gun at Moxxie during their fight, only narrowly missing him with the shot.
  • The Sociopath: Moxxie calls the guy a psychopath and isn’t far off the mark. Striker is a sadistic, Manipulative Bastard who kills without remorse and whose only desire is to be paid.
  • Sore Loser: By the time of "Oops", it's clear that he hates having lost to I.M.P repeatedly.
Striker: I'm through losing these fights!
  • Spikes of Villainy: The upper part of his tail has spikes resembling stegosaur plates along the top.
  • Strong and Skilled: In contrast to I.M.P, Striker is both strong enough to win the Harvest Festival and skilled enough to repeatedly handle a 2-on-1 situation while coming out no worse for wear.
  • Southern Gentleman: Aside from being introduced in an episode with a Western aesthetic, Striker ticks out a lot of boxes in this one: He’s got that Deep South accent, is polite and charming towards women (and some men) but it’s heavily implied to all be a facade, additionally, he’s openly racist towards Goetia and even other imps. Finally, Striker is so full of pride that he writes and sings a song about how great he is.
  • Sub-Par Supremacist: Blitzo mockingly refers to Striker as a supremacist because of his hatred for the Goetia.
Blitzo: Oh, great. The fuckin' supremacist is on my side, wonderful.
  • Team Rocket Wins: His testimony in "Mastermind" assists in incriminating I.M.P and consequently Stolas. While I.M.P. escape free of charge, Striker at least finally manages to take down a member of royalty, albeit in the sense of helping them get dethroned, and to sweeten the deal, it was one his Arch-Enemy Blitzo deeply cares about.
  • Terms of Endangerment: He mockingly uses Stolas' Embarrassing Nickname for Blitzo when he escapes.
  • Viler New Villain: Most of I.M.P.'s opponents in early Season One were Asshole Victims they were assigned to kill, or just general Butt Monkeys that were unfortunate enough to have a bone to pick with I.M.P.'s own antagonistic deeds. Striker is the first adversary in the show introduced to be as menacing and ruthless as I.M.P. themselves, helped by being a fellow demon mercenary, as well as the first to intitiate I.M.P.'s protective streak around someone other than themselves, painting them more as A Lighter Shade of Black. While later episodes gave Striker a more comical streak and introduced even more loathsome antagonists, he remained one of the more vicious of I.M.P.'s recurring opponents.
  • Villain Decay: Downplayed. Season 1 portrays Striker as a genuinely menacing threat with very few comedic moments, and he's taken seriously by everyone for the most part. Season 2 depicts him in a more comedic light and most of the cast happily trash-talk him and rarely take him seriously as a danger. He's certainly still a threat and relatively taken much more seriously than the other villains, but he's nowhere near as straightforwardly terrifying as he was portrayed in the previous season.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: In contrast to almost every antagonist before him, Striker faces no comeuppance at the end of his introductory episode. While Striker does get the crap kicked out of him by I.M.P and loses his gun, it's shown that he's more than capable of coming back to fight another day. The same thing happens again in "Western Energy", with him somehow escaping a giant statue getting toppled onto him. It happens again in "Oops", with him scurrying off after Blitzo sets him on fire.
  • Villain Has a Point: While he was mostly saying it to convince Blitzo to switch sides, he's not wrong when he points out that Hell's royalty in general don't treat imps with much respect and that even Stolas tends to see Blitzo more like a plaything than a lover. Mammon from the Seven Deadly Sins exploiting Fizzarolli's image for Greed proves that Striker isn't completely wrong on the matter.
  • Villainous Breakdown: The constant defeats by I.M.P have gotten to him by the time he appears in "Oops", as he's ready to murder Fizzarolli, who is the romantic partner of Ozzie, to get some revenge on Blitzo. And when Blitzo manages to escape with Fizzarolli, Striker pointedly says that he's "tired of losing these fights", in a tone of voice that makes it clear that Striker is at the end of his proverbial rope.
  • Villainous Gold Tooth: His upper left canine fang is coated in solid gold, and it sticks out of his mouth very prominently in left-facing closed-mouth shots, adding to his already quite intimidating appearance. He's also a sadistic Manipulative Bastard who kills without remorse and whose only desire is to be paid.
  • Volcano Lair: A variant, an abandoned mining shaft in the Wrath ring with indoor lava streams, which Striker has turned into a villain man-cave with a very Western outlaw theme. Includes such attractions as two carriages, one flipped on its’ side, the other named “Striker’s Saloon”, a torn-up railway track (because being tied to one is a classic) with a neon sign on top (named “Kill Count Casino”), another neon sign (advertising “Killer Venom” alcohol), a huge statue of the owner with a visibly erect penis, ghettoblaster and a fireplace. Surprisingly, though Millie and Moxxie raid it to save Stolas when Striker kidnaps him, the lair largely remains intact.
  • Walking Spoiler: Can't really talk about him without mentioning his true nature as Stella's hitman.
  • We Can Rule Together: He tries to convince Blitzo to stand down by saying that Blitzo was meant for more than what he had. It appears to work at first, but Blitzo was just stalling for time until Moxxie lined up a shot.
  • Western Rattlers: He's an Imp cowboy with heavy snake theming, and operates in the Wrath Ring, which seems to be mostly desert.
  • Worthy Opponent: He sees Blitzo as his equal after they prove about evenly matched in the competition, enough to offer to make him his partner in crime. Doesn't stop him from referring to him as a "rodeo clown" while talking to Moxxie and Millie, though.
  • Would Hurt a Child: In his third appearace, he tells Crimson that he'll target anyone, including kids.
  • You Are a Credit to Your Race: He considers himself better than most imps because of his talents and aims to rise above them. He considers Blitzo this as well and tries to corral him into his fold, but it fails.
  • You Need a Breath Mint: According to Fizzarolli, courtesy of Striker getting up close when threatening him, Striker has horrible breath.
Fizzarolli: Eaugh! Ever heard of mouthwash?! FUCK FAAAACCCE!

    Fizzarolli

Fizzarolli

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/renderedfizzarolli_6.png
"I'm the one and only Fizzarolli. Some of you might recognize this dashing clown face from my numerous toy-botic replicas across the rings of Hell."
Voiced by: Alex Brightman, Remy Edgerly (child)Foreign VAs

A successful jester imp who's in the employ of a number of high ranking demons, specifically the Seven Deadly Sins. He serves as a mascot and spokesdemon for Mammon and the headliner of Asmodeus' club, while secretly being his boyfriend. He turns out to have a past with Blitzo, one that left them on very bitter terms. His likeness is the basis for a successful line of animatronic replicas known as Robo Fizz that serve as entertainers and even sex bots, among other things.

  • Actor Allusion: This isn't the first time Alex Brightman played a stripe-covered singing demon-clown with stretchy arms that gets eaten by an otherworldly monster.
  • Affectionate Nickname: His boyfriend Asmodeus calls him "Fizzy" and "Froggie". Both Asmodeus and Blitzo call him "Fizz" for short.
  • Always Someone Better: Fizzarolli is everything Blitzo couldn't achieve in his clown days, being beloved by the public either for his talent as an entertainer or for his sexual prowess and has a very successful and lucrative career. He's even more accomplished in his highly functional fling with Asmodeus, a Seven Deadly Sins king in comparison to Blitzo's complicated relationship with Stolas, a Goetia prince.
  • Ambiguous Situation: The reason for the rift between him and Blitzo is, after the accident, Blitzo was told that Fizzarolli didn't want to see him, and Fizz never knew that Blitzo even came, meaning they were deliberately kept apart. One of Blitzo's memories from Ghostfuckers suggests Blitzo's father was the one responsible.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Both his arms and legs were burned off alongside his horns in a freak fire and explosion during his circus days which Blitzo accidentally set in motion.
  • Animal Motifs:
    • While the Robo-Fizzarolli had some light elements of this, the real Fizzarolli has a much more prominent snake theme, ranging from his forked tongue to coiling himself around Asmodeus' shoulders in a manner similar to those shots of beautiful naked women with boa constrictors. In addition, his constantly extending and retracting limbs and general slinkiness further the serpentine allusion. This particular theme is probably yet another reference to Beetlejuice, specifically his infamous snake form from the movie.
    • Frogs are also another motif for him, as shown by one of Asmodeus's pet names for him, "Froggie," and a brief clip where Fizzarolli puppet waves its arms like Kermit the Frog.
  • Attention Whore: He loves to be in the spotlight. Even when he's trying to be "super low-key" he just can't help but draw attention to himself.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: He achieved his dream of becoming a celebrity working for Mammon, but with a heavy price: learning his childhood hero and idol is a greedy Bad Boss who puts his employees in an overall Dangerous Workplace, becoming a total Sell-Out with increasingly bizarre and sexual products in his name and having even more (and worse) Loony Fans than he did in his time as a circus performer. The only positives are still being able to do what he loves most and having Asmodeus by his side.
  • Beta Couple: He and Asmodeus serve as this to Blitzo and Stolas. Like Blitzo, Fizz is an imp in a relationship with a much more powerful and higher ranking demon. Unlike Blitzo, Fizz's relationship is perfectly stable and happy with the only point of contention being that their romance is technically forbidden due to Ozzie being the representative of Lust.
  • Big Guy, Little Guy: A romantic example. The Little Guy to Asmodeus' Big Guy.
  • A Birthday, Not a Break: The fire and explosion that maimed and burned his limbs happened at his own birthday party and was caused by Blitzo knocking over the birthday cake on accident.
  • Body Horror: "Oops" shows the Circus fire that maimed him, as well as the aftereffects on Fizzarolli specifically. Having fallen nearby some fireworks as the fires spread, the explosives literally went off in his face, leaving him horribly burned with several quick shots of his flesh burning off his bones and his horns cracked off and cauterised from the intense heat. Most prominently: his white face? That's not clown makeup, that's his actual skin absolutely covered in the imp equivalent of a healed burn scar with Blitzo's own similar vitiligo-esque Facial Markings being a lesser burn from the fire, just for comparison as to how badly Fizzarolli got it.
  • Broken Ace: Fizzarolli is one of Hell's most successful entertainers, impressive given imps' lower-class status. He's partnered with two Sins, headlining clubs for Lust and being a brand figure for Greed, while in a healthy romance with the former. Flashbacks show his innate performing talent and early notoriety. Despite this success, he has trauma and insecurity about his scarred appearance beneath prosthetics and makeup. He is exploited by Mammon, deals with boundary-less fans, and is seen by some as Asmodeus' "purse dog". He also harbored resentment, believing Blitzo intentionally caused the fire that injured him and abandoned their friendship, only learning 15 years later it was accidental and their friendship ended because Blitzo's father intentionally kept him from visiting Fizzarolli in the hospital.
  • Camp Gay: He has an intensely flamboyant and outlandish personality, even when he’s off stage as seen in "Oops" through his interactions with his boyfriend Asmodeus and his idea of keeping things "low-key" in the Greed ring (punctuating his arrival by rolling out a pink and yellow carpet and using dick-shaped confetti cannons to spray sperm-shaped confetti everywhere). His voice is also quite camp due to sounding like that of a metal rock star from the Glam Metal rock industry, although a flashback shows he still sounded quite camp as a teen before being injured in the circus fire and the implied vocal cord damage changed how he sounded. On top of it all, the official 2024 Pride Month artwork shows him wearing the colors of the gay male flag.
  • Captain Ersatz: Fizzarolli's a jester whose mischievous exterior is a shield for his vulnerabilities. He's exploited by a Monster Clown and his brand is milked to an ridiculous degree, being marketed both to fans that project sexual fantasies onto him and very young children. He also finds stability with someone whose gimmick is seduction. Basically, Fizzarolli's a gender-flipped Harley Quinn, complete with meta commentary on how HQ has been advertised in recent years.
  • Character Tics: Has a tendency to stick his tongue out like a snake.
  • Child Prodigy: He has been a very gifted performer ever since he was a child, be it in juggling, making balloon animals or balancing acts and to top it off Fizzarolli was already good at improv as well, shown when he easily saved Blitzo's failed balloon animal number with his own input, unintentionally overshadowing his friend. It was to the point that Cash Buckzo labelled Fizzarolli a "big draw" and had him do multiple shows per day.
  • Comedy as a Weapon: Subverted. He tries to use his jester gags against Crimson's goons, to absolutely zero effect.
  • Cyborg: He possesses mechanical limbs, as revealed when he rolls back one of his sleeves to show his bare arm in "OZZIE'S". It's revealed in "Oops" that he lost his original limbs in a fire that Blitzo accidentally caused back when they were young.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: His parents aren't mentioned or shown, implying he's an orphan. Then, on his own birthday, he lost his limbs and was horribly scarred from a fire accidentally caused by his best friend, Blitzo. And then someone made Fizz think Blitzo did it on purpose, causing a fifteen long rift between the two. And while he did gain new limbs and a healthy (but badly kept secret) romance with Asmodeus, he was routinely abused and controlled by Mammon. And despite his success, Fizzarolli is plagued with a number of insecurities and anxieties. He also had had to deal with a number of creeps.
  • A Day in the Limelight: While he had a large role in "Oops", Fizzarolli receives center focus in "Mammon's Magnificent Musical", which delves into his past, his insecurities, and his relationships with Mammon and Asmodeus. While Blitzo is present, he's a Supporting Protagonist and doesn't play as key a role as the former two.
  • Desperate Plea for Home: Whilst captured by Crimson, Fizzarolli admits he “Just wants to go home”. He’s not breaking down just yet but the stress of being captured and dealing with Blitzo and his robotic transplants malfunctioning is clearly getting to him.
  • Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu?: When he sings a "The Villain Sucks" Song not so subtly explaining his hidden troubles and openly announcing his intentions to leave showbiz behind for good after One Last Job on top of specifically quitting his employment under Mammon. Luckily for him he has a Cthulhu of his own in the form of Ozzie.
  • Distressed Dude: Abducted by Crimson and Striker "Oops". He does find a way out though.
  • Dude Magnet: A same-sex example. While Fizzarolli is shown to be lusted over by both his male and female fans, particular emphasis is given to the former. He has a crazy "fan" in Arick, who harbors an entitled, warped, lust for the jester. During his "Two Minute Notice" song, a hellhound briefly humped his leg. Both a young Blitzo and Asmodeus note how many thirsty fans Fizzarolli has. It's revealed in "Oops" that he was Blitzo's First Love with the implication the latter still has some romantic feelings for the former. And Fizz managed to form a healthy and sexual romance with the Sin of Lust.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: A picture of him, be it Fizzarolli or Robo Fizz, is shown to have been used for Moxxie's target practice on the I.M.P office wall in "Murder Family".
  • Early Installment Character-Design Difference: Fizzaolli's initial appearance in "Ozzies" depicted him having a dark grey stripe close to the base of his tail, but from "Oops" onwards, this stripe was colored white. While it would be confirmed during the 2nd season that Fizzarolli does wear makeup to obscure the nature of the burn marks on his body, whether or not this change to the base of his tail is an in-universe change or a case of this trope is currently unknown.
  • Everyone Has Standards:
    • He is a horny demon who performs in the lust ring and has no problem with his image being used for Sexbots, yet he’s perturbed to discover he has a Loony Fan with four of his robot toys and mutters to security to keep that one far away from him.
    • Even he thinks that Loo Loo Land was terrible, calling it an “off-brand shithole” and would like to shake the hand of whoever burnt it down (before hurriedly adding that he’d also slap a subpoena in it to recuperate financial losses).
  • Eyes Are Unbreakable: Even though the circus fire left burns over Fizzarolli's entire body (including his face) and destroyed all of his limbs and both of his horns, his eyes seem to be fine and there's no indication he has vision problems of any sort.
  • First Love: "Oops" reveals Fizz was this for Blitzo, who had a Love Letter he was going to give the former before the explosion.
  • Freak Out:
  • Foil: To Blitzo.
    • They both have a circus-performing background and are both currently using a much more powerful, high-ranking demon as a Meal Ticket. Where Fizzarolli differs is that not only is he genuinely deeply in love with Asmodeus, unlike Blitzo who is too cowardly and abrasive to confront his feelings about Stolas, but he has a successful performing career and is a well-respected celebrity, while Blitzo is a grungy Professional Killer. In short his life is essentially a funhouse mirror version of Blitzo's and shows what his life could be like if he ever actually gets it together and sorts out his problems.
    • While Blitzo represents the majority who don't make it past the auditions in showbiz Fizz reveals the flip side of having too much success and fame. He has to deal with controlling higher-ups, being at the whims of trends regardless of his personal opinions and being sexualized and harassed while the constant streak of successes also gives him continuous pressure to be The Perfectionist.
  • Fun Personified: He built his career around it. For all his flaws and insecurities, Fizzaroli is a one-in-a-billion genius entertainer who even managed to make an entire stadium (including his current employer) rock along to a profanity-laden resignation announcement.
  • Friend to All Children: Fizzarolli is nothing but kind to a deaf child fan of his, offering emotional support and understanding for the boy’s wish of becoming a clown like him whilst communicating in ASL. Downplayed though, since he doesn't stop Blitzo from aiming a gun at a child.
  • Good Counterpart: Downplayed and not really touched upon, but surprisingly he of all people is this to Blitzo. Both come from the same background and are in relationships with high-ranking demons. "Good" is stretching it since both are demons from hell with vices, and Fizz has jerkass tendencies, but he's less malicious than Blitzo overall. While Blitzo is an assassin who kills anyone, even children, for money regardless of innocence (and willingly slaughters non-targets for petty reasons), Fizz is merely an entertainer who doesn't directly hurt anyone without reason. His appearance in "Oops" shows he's actually nice when not performing. Even his worst acts, antagonizing Moxxie at Ozzie's and Blitzo, can be attributed to maintaining a show business reputation. He only antagonizes Blitzo because he thought Blitzo intentionally started the fire that cost Fizz his limbs and left him for dead. Fizz drops his antagonism once they talk and clear up what happened.
  • Handicapped Badass: Subverted. Blitzo clearly expected him to be a capable fighter like his robotic counterpart, but mechanical limbs or not, he's a performer not used to combat.
  • Happy Harlequin Hat: As a jester, Fizzarolli wears the hat typically associated with one, which carries over to his robotic replicas. It also hides the fact the real Fizzarolli's horns were broken off in the fire that took his limbs.
  • Hates the Job, Loves the Limelight: Inverted as "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MIDSEASON SPECIAL (ft. Fizzarolli)" reveals. He loves performing but he's incredibly uncomfortable with his fans being so obsessively devoted and lustful towards him. Also played with as he does like interacting with fans who simply enjoy his show, particularly children.
  • Heroes Love Dogs: He owns several non-sentient hell-Chihuauas he dotes on.
  • Hidden Depths:
    • When introduced, he's the host at Ozzie's, and he's the Jerkass who's antagonistic towards Blitzo and Moxxie. Moxxie, because he sang a love song at a lust-themed nightclub; while more than a little hypocritical, Ozzie's did have a strict theme in place. Blitzo, because they clearly had a history.
    • His antagonism towards Blitzo isn't unfounded: He and Fizz were best friends until a fire scarred them both. Fizz especially, as he's left with burn scars all over his body and has prosthetics replacing his limbs.
    • Despite antagonizing Moxxie for singing a love song for Millie, he's clearly, deeply in love with Asmodeus. Despite the two being of very different castes/social ranking. Hence, their love is stigmatized in Hell. Note that the sex isn't as much, but the romantic relationship is.
    • He isn't just Hell's premiere celebrity clown; it's something he has both natural talent for and worked his ass off for. He's haunted by a number of the implications of that.
    • In "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MIDSEASON SPECIAL (ft. Fizzarolli)", Fizzarolli is revealed to be fluent in (Hell's) sign language when he uses it to communicate with a deaf imp.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold:
    • According to his voice actor, he's a caring individual deep down. When Ozzie and Verosika are distracted, he noticeably smiles at Moxxie and Millie, indicating that he was only pretending to be repulsed by their genuine romantic affection for the sake of maintaining the lust-only reputation of Ozzie's club. Not to mention, it's hinted that he does genuinely love Asmodeus. "Oops" confirms this, showing that he lives with Asmodeus, and their interactions show that they are clearly very close.
    • Even with Blitzo, the whole bad blood between them was not specifically because of the crippling explosion Blitzo caused, but because he believed Blitzo abandoned him that day and didn't even bother to check on him at the hospital, even saying one visit could have patched things up between them. Once he realizes the truth, he forgives Blitzo rather quickly and affectionately. Despite all the scars he still has to this day, all he wanted from Blitzo was to show that he cared about him.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Same-sex example with Ozzie. Though Ozzie is capable of changing his size, his default form towers over Fizzarolli.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: The reason why he stuck with Mammon as his boss despite the latter's abusive treatment is because he's terrified of losing everyone's love if he quits his job.
  • Improv: Fizzarolli has shown to have a talent for improvising entire performances, two of his song numbers being thought up in relatively short time spans. "Look at This" was quite literally made up on the fly to distract Crimson and Striker, and "Two Minute Notice" being an on the fly performance made as a result of his deciding to finally tell off Mammon. Both songs are not only highly professional in quality and theatrics, but Fizz manages to perform them even as potential distractions come up without missing a beat, demonstrating just how much natural talent he has as both a singer and a showman.
  • Inkblot Cartoon Style: In "Truth Seekers", the Fizzarolli encountered in Blitzo's hallucination is depicted in an artstyle reminiscent of that of the black-and-white Silent Age Of Animation era. Other than further emphasis of Rubber-Hose Limbs, this Fizzarolli has actual eyes rather than glowing robotic eyes as well as a tail, implying that this is actually the real Fizzarolli that Blitzo's seeing instead of Robo Fizz.
  • Innocently Insensitive: In "The Circus", after Blitzo fails to make a balloon horse with legs, before going on to explain the horse lost his legs in a pirate war, Fizzarolli proceeds to quickly and easily make a horse with legs, drawing (most of) the audience's attention away from Blitzo and making him tear up. He doesn't hold it against him later, though.
  • Insecure Love Interest: The "Mammon's Magnificent Musical" episode reveals that Fizzarolli is deeply insecure about his scars and broken horns and thus feels he needs to be at his best so he won't lose Ozzie. And even after the Sin reassures him that he loves Fizz, flaws and all, the latter still has this fear.
  • Irony: He's in a relationship with the Demon Lord of Lust. While he and Ozzie stigmatize love as having an image to maintain, their relationship is based on that they are very much in love.
  • Jerkass to One: He's got it out for Blitzo... and, surprisingly, nobody else. "Oops" shows that he's actually a pretty nice guy around Asmodeus and is only really a jerk whenever Blitzo shows up, thanks to the accident and the following separation of the two imps leading Fizz to think Blitzo intentionally blew him up. Even after they make up, Blitzo still gets on Fizz's nerves, but the anger between them is considerably less malicious.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: As shown in "Oops", he's actually a normally pretty sweet guy, but cranks up his aggression both for his stage persona and because he's normally seen interacting with Blitzo.
  • Lethal Chef: The way he suggests Ozzie cook their breakfast heavily implies Ozzie refuses to let Fizzarolli anywhere near the kitchen for this reason. Apparently, quite a few things got burned the last time he cooked something.
Fizzarolli: I mean, unless you want me to take a crack at cooking again.
Ozzie: Hahahaha -- No! Never again.
  • Mascot: Fizzarolli and his likeness in general serve as the mascot for a variety of products sold by Mammon, ranging from breakfast cereal to Sex Bots.
  • Monster Clown: Fizzarolli is a demonic circus jester. However, while the "monster" part might be literal, in personality he is anything but.
  • Must Have Caffeine: While getting ready in the morning in "Oops" he pours a cup of coffee, then chugs the rest of the pot, then a few minutes later makes another cup of coffee from what looks like an espresso machine.
  • Nice Guy: What Fizz truly is under that cranked-up aggression. It becomes more prominent when he reconciles with Blitzo.
  • Non-Action Guy: In contrast to his robotic lookalikes Fizzarolli is almost completely useless in a fight as he can neither throw a punch, utilize his circus skills against opponents or even strangle attackers with his robotic limbs, Blitzo lampshading this by asking how someone so flexible is useless.
Fizzarolli: Hmm…Ya know? Last time I checked, I was a FUCKING JESTER, not an escape artist!
    Fizzarolli: I'm a performer! I sing, I dance, I promote products that I don't actually use. I DON'T do danger!
  • Non-Ironic Clown: He has his issues, but he takes his actual job as a clown (read: a performer and entertainer) very seriously. He loves to make people happy, and Blitzo is just the one guy who makes him mad, and even then, he's among the few people Blitzo estranged from that has forgiven him.
  • Noodle Incident:
    • As a kid he threatened to punch Blitzo if he continues to mention pirates though it is unknown if it's a simple annoyance or from a traumatic past.
    • He apparently proved a Lethal Chef when trying to make food for himself and Ozzie.
  • Number Two: Serves as the right hand to Asmodeus in his club. He's the show's headliner and plays sidekick to Asmodeus during his song with heavy implications that there's more going on between them.
  • Oh, Crap!:
    • After seeing Glitz and Glam's performance he nearly loses it again before Ozzie manages to calm him down and snap him out of it.
    • He has a bigger one when he sees Blitzo about to be beheaded on live television. He frantically texts his boyfriend "OMFS OZZIE DO SMTH!!!!"
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Fizz has the most expressive set of eyes in the series. When he's genuinely happy, they dilate extra hard.
  • Rags to Riches: Fizzarolli went from a clown in a run-down circus to a top-rated performer, Mammon's biggest money maker and the lover of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Blitzo actually points this out in "Oops" when Fizz tries to claim he ruined his life and Fizz later admits his life is actually pretty great.
  • Rebuilt Pedestal: To Blitzo after clearing the air about the fateful incident that mutilated Fizz. Fizz himself wasn't mad about the injuries as much as the fact that Blitzo seemingly abandoned him and never bothered to visit him; when he realizes the truth and that Blitzo was indeed regretful about what happened, he quickly accepts him back into his life.
  • Rewatch Bonus: On closer inspection in every episode where he appears, it's clear that his Happy Harlequin Hat is too loose and floppy to really be holding his imp horns, which foreshadows The Reveal that he lost his horns in the fire that consumed Cash Buckzo's circus.
  • The Rival: It's implied Fizzarolli was this to Blitzo, being much more successful than he ever was both as a clown and in relationships.
  • Rubber-Hose Limbs: Both the real Fizzarolli and his robot replicas have mechanical rubber hose-like limbs that are able to stretch and twist, complements of mechanical means. In Fizz's case, it's because they're prosthetics.
  • Scars Are Forever: Fizzarolli's face isn't white because it's covered in clown makeup as one might think. His face was previously red like other imps, and the white area is a giant burn scar from the fire he was caught in as a child.
  • Sell-Out: During the dialogue between Robo Fizz and Blitzo, the latter calls the real Fizzarolli a sell-out. Based on Fizzarolli's likeness being featured on products and as an attraction in Loo Loo Land of which all are owned by the King of Greed Mammon, Blitzo's comment appears to have some weight. That said, he's not entirely comfortable with what people do to his copies, including one customer in "OZZIE'S" who claims to own four of them. "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL" takes this further by revealing he actually isn't really fond of the robot copies at all and is only allowing them to be made because Mammon wants it.
  • Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: He forms this dynamic with Asmodeus in private, being more emotionally vulnerable due to the insecurities he hasn't had time to sort through properly. In public, he has a hardier and more outgoing persona that varies between abrasive and unflappably eccentric.
  • Sexy Jester: Fizzarolli is a Monster Clown with a sexual and sensual personality who works in the Lust Ring, and numerous demons find him very sexy, to the point of selling numerous Sexbots of himself.
  • Ship Tease: Ozzie treats Fizzarolli rather tenderly for someone who otherwise is completely averse to any kind of attachment that isn't lust-based. "OOPS" reveals that they actually are in a relationship, with it pretty much being an Open Secret to the staff, though none of them say anything about it out of fear of incurring Ozzie's wrath.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Single Woman Seeks Good Man: A same-sex example. Fizzarolli is in a happy and healthy relationship with Asmodeus, who is always gentle, protective, and respectful to the imp. The jester even tells Blitzo that the Sin of Lust understands the former and is earnestly bashful when he describes his relationship with Ozzie as "fantastic".
  • Smoky Voice: Fizzarolli has a hoarse, raspy voice heavily implied to be the result of the circus fire that disfigured him fifteen years ago. Flashbacks to both him as a child and a teen before the fire show his voice lacking the raspiness.
  • Somebody Doesn't Love Raymond: Most people wouldn't bother to entertain the loony rantings of someone as blindly entitled as Arick but Fizz is so insecure about his worth to people that Arick's putdowns are enough to send him into a panic attack.
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: In season 1, he was merely a supporting character with an implied strong connection to Blitzo's life. Season 2, however, greatly expands on his character by not only exploring his relationship with Blitzo and having the two reconcile, but he even gets a full blown episode centering around him, effectively pushing Moxxie, Millie, and even Stolas out of main focus for a while.
  • Stage Magician: Invokes this trope when he's acting as the MC during "OZZIE'S", flourishing his opening speech with several quick sleights of hand.
  • Take This Job and Shove It: Being at Mammon's beck and call for ten years made his life miserable and he only stuck with it because he was afraid losing everything he'd gained in that time if he didn't stay as Mammon's headliner, in particular his relationship with Asmodeus. It finally comes to a head in Mammon's Magnificent Musical Midseason Special (ft. Fizzarolli) where he quits in the most spectacular fashion: by singing the song "Two Minute Notice" which heavily features the phrase "Fuck you" at an event Mammon was staging televised to everyone in Hell.
  • Tempting Fate: When the two were children, Blitzo excessively talked about his balloon horse getting his legs taken and all the gore and blood that followed, which Fizzarolli found really gross. In the future, Fizzarolli has mechanical limbs, indicating something happened to his real ones...on a positive note, Fizzarolli also talked about his balloon horse using his "magical feet" to make others feel better, which is what he does as an adult.
  • Unholy Matrimony: "OOPS" reveals that he's in a relationship with Ozzie, and they seem to be genuinely happy together. The tabloids have picked up on it, while the staff outright knows, though no one is willing to spill the relationship to the public outright out of fear for what Ozzie would do to them. "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MIDSEASON SPECIAL (ft. Fizzarolli)" has Ozzie publicly reveal their relationship and it turns out most of Hell is pretty on board with it.
  • Villainous Harlequin: Zigzagged. Yes, he's a demon clown working in a cabaret/brothel. Yes, he's pretty mean-spirited to Blitzo and Moxxie. However, he's largely a performer doing his job, and he used to be close friends with Blitzo before Blitzo accidentally caused a fire that horribly scarred him and mutilated him. Later appearances point to him being more of a Non-Ironic Clown under most circumstances.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Fizzarolli and Blitzo were childhood friends who performed together, but during a fire Blitzo had a Freak Out and left Fizzarolli, after which they were kept apart when trying to reconnect. Fifteen years later, their mutual belief that the other never sought them out led to estrangement. Even Fizz's robotic knockoffs carried the same grudge. By "Oops," they began mending their friendship, with Asmodeus describing Blitzo as Fizz's "former bestie, then lifelong enemy, then recent hero, now newly-rekindled sort-of friend". In "Full Moon," they're best friends again when Blitzo seeks Fizz's help for a good sex night with Stolas.
  • Wicked Heart Symbol: The demonic jester has a heart symbol on his forehead as well as a number of other hearts adorning his costume.

    Robo Fizz

Robotic Fizzarolli (at Loo Loo Land)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/robo_fizz.png
"Real or not though, people love me! Does anybody love you... Blitzo?"
Voiced by: Alex Brightman Foreign VAs

One of the many Robo-Fizzies owned and sold by Mammon. This one entertains children at Loo Loo Land, and has a past with Blitzo due to him working in the theme park prior to starting his own assassination business.

  • Adaptational Jerkass: In-Universe. The real Fizz is generally a decent guy, but Robo Fizz is a straight-up Jerkass and lacks the real deal's softer side and kindness to his fans.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: Subverted. Robo Fizz attempts to do this by pointing out that people adore him, and asks if anyone loves Blitzo, who has shown to be a Stalker with a Crush and have signs of I Just Want to Be Loved. Blitzo gives him a quick and succinct "no" as a response before trying to gun down the demonic jester. Considering Blitzo’s interactions and history with the real Fizzarolli, this might have been more personal than we realized.
  • Asshole Victim: Robo Fizz ends up destroyed due to being devoured alive by a giant dragon. It's hard to feel anything for him considering how much of a violent and condescending prick to everybody he was.
  • At Least I Admit It: Robo Fizz has no problem admitting to being a copy of the original Fizzarolli, as he is still just as popular as him who is, in turn, more popular than Blitzo who worked with him back then.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Despite being primarily an entertainer, Robo Fizz easily tosses Blitzo around like nothing.
  • Blatant Lies: Robo Fizz sings about how wonderful Loo Loo Land is, such as the absence of any copyright infringement. The rest of the episode, however, shows that he's obviously lying.
  • Bullet Catch: Robo Fizz catches a bullet Blitzo shoots at him with his teeth.
  • Continuity Nod: In “C.H.E.R.U.B”, the markerboard inside I.M.P's meeting room has a doodle that laughs at Robo Fizz being eaten by a dragon.
  • Demoted to Extra: Several more Robo Fizzes are seen in "Mammon's Magnificent Musical Midseason Special (ft. Fizzarolli)", but without speaking and most don't even move of their own volition.
  • Distaff Counterpart: The Hazbin Hotel episode "Radio Killed The Video Star" reveals there are female versions of the Robo Fizzes as well with Valentino being shown to own one named Kitty.
  • Do-Anything Robot: As explained in Mammon's infomercial in season 2, Robo-Fizzes are capable of performing basically any task desired of them, including sexual intercourse, AND they're dishwasher safe!
  • Eaten Alive: The last we see of Robo Fizz is him being gobbled alive by a multi-eyed dragon ridden by Moxxie.
  • Electronic Speech Impediment: Robo Fizz's voice constantly glitches out, making him incredibly unnerving.
  • Evil Knockoff: With the reveal of the real Fizzarolli being a more humble and emotionally broken individual who isn't a fighter or even fond of having robotic sex dolls made after him, the robot Fizzarollis can effectively be considered evil copies of him who are actually shown to be dangerous.
  • Exorcist Head: Robo Fizz's head can do this two different ways: the normal head spin-around 360 degrees on his neck way, and the head spin upside and around 360 degrees way.
  • Hostile Animatronics: Robo Fizz is an animatronic replica of the real Fizzarolli at Loo Loo Land. Upon spotting Blitzo in the tent, the robot immediately antagonizes the imp and the two soon get into a fight that ends up setting the entire theme park on fire.
  • Hypocritical Humor: During Robo Fizz's song about Loo Loo Land, he reiterates the point that there isn't any copyright infringement going on in Loo Loo Land. Immediately after saying so, he's shown ripping off the opening sequence of Charlie's song "Inside of Every Demon Is A Rainbow" from the Hazbin Hotel pilot. The piano set is the same and Robo Fizz practically copies Charlie's choreography and sings an almost exact copy of her lines.
  • It Can Think: Outside of some background hints, there is nothing suggesting that Robo Fizz has a mind of his own until he starts insulting Blitzo.
  • Irony: The Fizzbots were mainly made to be a kind of Sexbot, as per Mammon's upfront honesty surrounding theor production. Robo Fizz makes more money for him and Fizz working as a straightforward children's entertaining clown at an amusement park than any of the robots built around vice, which is notable considering the setting is Hell.
  • Jerkass: Robo Fizz's completely shameless about and outright reveling in how much of a ripoff Loo Loo Land is, both design-wise and money-wise, grabs some children during his song while calling them ugly before throwing them head-first back into their seats, and taunts Blitzo purely for the sake of being a malicious asshole.
  • Jerkass to One: A trait he shares with his real self. While he's much more mean than the real Fizz, he becomes outright mean-spirited when Blitzo gets involved.
  • Laughably Evil: Robo Fizz's about on par with I.M.P when it comes to being both utterly depraved and absolutely hilarious.
  • Laughing Mad: When he's set on fire and his synthetic skin is burning off, Robo Fizz just laughs. When he continues his fight with Blitzo, his laugh plays repeatedly regardless of what he's doing.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Starts off just pronouncing Blitzo's name as it's spelled, but after Blitzo tells him that the "o" is silent these days, he instead pronounces Blitzo's name as it's spelled and with clearly malicious intent.
  • Mascot: As much as the real Fizzarolli, serving as the mascot of Loo Loo Land, and numerous other Robo-Fizzies serve as mascots for Mammon's remaining products.
  • Meaningful Name: May or may not apply to the real Fizzarolli, but malfunctioning electronics (like the shoddily-constructed Robo Fizz) are known to spark, or "fizz." In combat, he also uses a Rolling Attack similar to a Spin Dash.
  • Monster Clown: A much more straightforward case compared to the real Fizz.
  • Mundane Utility: The entire line of Robo Fizz' are designed as all-purpose Sexbots, and the one in Loo Loo Land specifically is also a Super-Powered Robot Meter Maid with crazy physical prowess, but Fizzarolli himself notes that the bot's status as a robot clown entertaining children has been the most profitable venture he ever did, leagues moreso than all the regular Sexbot models combined. So he's understandably pissed his child-entertaining model was destroyed by Blitzo, not because it brought happiness but because said happiness brought him good money.
  • Not Quite Dead: He makes a cameo during "Apology Tour".
  • Out of the Inferno: Walks out of the ablaze Loo Loo Land, Robo Fizz's covering burning off to reveal his inner endo-skeleton.
  • Perpetual Smiler: Robo Fizz almost always has a smug, sharp-toothed Slasher Smile on his face, signifying both his utter confidence and the sadistic joy he takes in his job. It's especially notable as he's the only robot in Loo Loo Land capable of making other facial expressions, such as going "ooh", so his near-permanent smile is intentional on his part. It turns into a full-blown malevolent Slasher Smile after his face burns off, with it still never changing no matter what is done to him. It's to the point that him being Eaten Alive by a dragon is done while he's in the middle of laughing psychotically.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: As revealed when his Fizz-based covering gets burned off, Robo Fizz has glowing red eyes on his endo-skeleton. He's also at his most malevolently violent and destructive when they're showing.
  • The Rival: Was this to Blitzo when they worked together. Robo Fizz's barbs towards Blitzo focus largely on how he's more successful than Blitzo ever was as a clown.
  • Robot Me: Robo Fizz is a robot version of the real Fizzarolli.
  • Robotic Psychopath: Can barely keep his violent impulses in check while on the clock, tossing kids headfirst back into their wooden seats. When Blitzo starts a fight, he completely lets loose.
  • Rolling Attack: While it's not clear if the real Fizzarolli can do this, Robo Fizz is able to perform one similar to Sonic the Hedgehog's spin dash.
  • Rubber-Hose Limbs: Like the real Fizz, Robot-Fizz has mechanical rubber hose-like limbs that are able to stretch and twist.
  • Sexbot: As first shown by a Freeze-Frame Bonus on one of the posters in Loo Loo Land featuring Robo Fizz before later being outright stated by Fizzarolli himself, the Robo Fizz line are all built for providing all forms of sexual pleasure to their owners, and despite being used more for his robot clown appeal, the Loo Loo Land model is no different.
  • Sexy Jester: While the Loo Loo Land model of Robo Fizz was repurposed to act as a proper clown for entertaining children instead of being a sexbot, he's still made to be as attractive as the real Fizzarolli.
  • Super-Powered Robot Meter Maids: Robo Fizz is seemingly just a robotic circus clown and sexbot that's modelled after the real Fizzarolli, but not only does he apparently possess genuine sapience unlike the other robots, he is instilled with ridiculous levels of speed and agility, a high level of physical prowess, and an absurd amount of durability.
  • Swallowed Whole: This is how he's ultimately defeated at the end of "Loo Loo Land"; a dragon catches him when he was about to hit Blitzo with his spin attack and ate him in one gulp.
  • Tipped Off by the Tail: An inversion: The real Fizzarolli does have a tail, but his robotic knockoffs, the Robo Fizzes, do not.
  • Token Robot: As of his introduction in "Loo Loo Land", Robo Fizz is the only sentient robot shown so far, with anything close being either barely functional animatronics or demons with a distinct technological theme.
  • Touché: Blitzo sounds genuinely impressed when Robo Fizz catches one of his bullets in his teeth.
Blitzo: Ah, what a mouth. (pauses awkwardly)
  • Unnecessarily Creepy Robot: While he was created with the intention of entertaining children, he frequently comes off as unsettling at best and disturbing at worst. Octavia is shown to have been terrified of him as a child.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Robo Fizz's a children's entertainer who has no qualms about picking his audience up and throwing them around like ragdolls with no regard for their safety. It's downplayed, though, as he doesn't deliberately go out of his way to hurt children, he just doesn't care if they get injured.

One-Shot Characters

    Glitz and Glam

Glitz and Glam

Glitz (left) Glam (right)
Voiced by: Faye Mata (speaking voice, Glitz's singing voice), Allison Kaplan (Glam's singing voice)

A duo of twin demons who vie to take over Fizzarolli's role as the face of Mammon's clown brand in "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft. Fizzarolli)".

  • Alleged Lookalikes: Downplayed. The show's narrative clearly wants you to believe that they are identical twins, even themselves given how their shtick is a mirroring-act. Thing is, while they're far from different-looking, they're also far from actually having near-identical appearances.
  • Alpha Bitch: To put it simply, they basically have the personality of smug, insulting high school mean girls.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: After Fizz tells Mammon that he has decided to quit, Glitz and Glam note that this should mean that they win Mammon's clown pageant by default, and give each other a triumphant look. Of course, it is a completely Meaningless Villain Victory, since by that point Mammon has left the scene in an angry huff, the audience has bigger things to think about (like the actual casualties due to said exit), and Fizz obviously no longer cares about the clown pageant anymore.
  • Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: Both of their outfits consists of crop-tops to emphasize their femininity and sex appeal, in contrast to all the male performers who wear goofier clothing.
  • Cleavage Window: Glam has an upside-down heart cutout on her crop top.
  • Comically Missing the Point: If they'd paid attention to the contents of Fizzarolli's exit song, they'd have understood that working for Mammon is its own exploitative hell, but instead, they're only concerned if they won by default when Fizzarolli quits. Granted, from their demeanor and Villain Song, it's possible that they don't care.
  • The Dividual: They're a pair of twin sisters who are always seen together due to having few differences, and they're even allowed to compete against Fizz as a team. The few differences they actually have is that Glitz is the excitable one, while Glam is the more aloof twin.
  • Evil Counterpart: "Evil" may be a bit of a stretch, it's more like "negative counterpart", but Fizz does what he does because he likes to bring joy to people whereas the lyrics of "Klown Bitch" make it clear that it's not about making people happy to them; it's about living it up in the spotlight and making bank off their sex appeal.
  • Fair-Play Villain: While they're rude, stuck-up and unpleasant, they don't do anything to sabotage Fizzarolli's performance. The worst thing they do is Trash Talk him beforehand.
  • Fantastic Racism: Implied. They call Fizzarolli as nothing but another "fugly imp", further adding to their level of jerkassery to him, though it's unknown if this confirms they are racist with imps or just insulting him in general.
  • Finishing Each Other's Sentences: They tend to complement or finish each other sentences. When Glitz fails to do so one time, Glam gets pissed at her for being a "slow-ass bitch".
  • Fish People: They appear to be Sea Monster demons of a sort based on a number of features such as their hair and wings resembling fish fins.
  • Flipping the Bird: They both give Fizz the finger during "2 Minutes Notice" in response to him calling them bitches.
  • Genki Girl: Glitz is implied to be this, given how she's the more lively and extroverted twin.
  • The Glorious War of Sisterly Rivalry: Implied, while they function as a team, they're not above trading barbs and flinging insults at each other when they're angry, insulting the other's intelligence or promiscuity.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: They have bat-like retractable wings, which is natural since they're hellspawn.
  • Green and Mean: Green is a notable color in their palette, and they're both incredibly competitive performers who want nothing more than to take over Fizzarolli's position as the face of Mammon's.
  • Hair Substitute Feature: They both have long fins on their heads resembling hair.
  • Handy Feet: Glitz can juggle balls with her feet, upside down and doing a handstand while balancing on Glam's hands and atop a unicycle.
  • Hartman Hips: With hips noticeably wider than their busts or waistlines, Glitz and Glam sport rather shapely buttocks. Examples of that was during “Klown Bitch” when Glam was twerking during her verse, and when it comes to Glitz's verse, both twins pressed their buttocks together in a rather provocative matter.
  • Hidden Buxom: During their song routine, Glitz flashes the audience, and reveals a more developed bosom than their lithe forms let on.
  • Hypocrite: Seemingly the case for Glitz, although she calls Glam a whore during an argument, it's her who gladly flashes the audience during their big song performance.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: They have cyan-blue irises, and are very mean.
  • Identical Twin ID Tag: Glitz and Glam are a pair of twins, as they share the same body-type, hairstyle and overall color scheme. However, they also have a lot of different features that can make the audience tell them apart, such as their different outfits, different bang-styles, and the fact that Glitz's eyelashes are large green fins ending in wavy edges, in contrast to Glam's more traditional-looking black eyelashes shaped like the points of a jester hat.
  • Jerkass: They go out of their way to taunt and insult Fizzarolli even when he's trying to be humble and play nice with them.
  • Lean and Mean: They're both very skinny, and have unfriendly attitudes.
  • Leg Focus: Thanks to their slim figures, they have rather long and athletic legs. Glam's legs especially stand out since she wears a pair of tights.
  • Long Hair Is Feminine: They both have extremely long hair and heavily play up their femininity during the clown pageant, often doing Hair Flips.
  • Magic Skirt: Glitz's outfit consists of a high-waisted miniskirt which always manages to stay in one place, specifically during the juggling-act in the clown-pageant where she was doing a handstand on Glam's hands, and her skirt didn't even flinch.
  • Making a Splash: They have a distinct Sea Monster motif to their designs and are capable of manipulating water for their act.
  • Meaningless Villain Victory: They win the clown pageant... but only by default because Fizzarolli actively quit Mammon's toxic workplace and nobody between the audience or Mammon actually cares about the two because Fizz quit, his relationship with Asmodeus was revealed and Mammon's outburst likely killed people in the audience, all things far more important than the pageant.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Glitz and Glam are a pair of sensual and siren-like demons who heavily play up their sex appeal, whether it's intentionally doing provocative poses for the paparazzi, wearing revealing outfits like crop-tops and miniskirts, and even in one scene during "Juggling is Cool" where they dress up as Playboy Bunnies. They heavily invoked this trope during their song number "Klown Bitch", as they perform sensual dance moves which makes them look more like pop artists than clowns.
  • Our Sirens Are Different: Their status as humanoid, winged sea monsters with alluring singing voices certainly brings sirens to mind.
  • Playboy Bunny: During the "Juggling is Cool" musical number, the twins wore sexy bunny costumes for the pie gag of the Clown Pageant.
  • Punny Name: Their names are a pun on "glitz and glamour".
  • Retractable Appendages: They both have retractable wings on their backs, which they reveal dramatically in the climax of "Klown Bitch", where they use them to fly around the stage.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Perhaps one of the few differences is that Glitz is the Red Oni to Glam's Blue Oni, as Glitz has an excitable and energetic personality, while Glam has a more composed, graceful demeanor. This was even emphasized during their perfomance, where Glam is introduced with lights that are different shades of blue, turquoise and cyan, and it switches to pink and orange for Glitz's verse.
  • The Rival: They're Fizzarolli's primary rivals for the clown pageant, and they're very unfriendly to him.
  • Scary Teeth: They have sharp, shark-like teeth, which is appropriate for Sea Monster demons.
  • Sexy Jester: And unlike Fizz, they're at it full-send, to the point where their costumes literally do not resemble jesters in any way, shape or form (aside from the decorations on Glam's skirt resembling a jester hat), making it hard to tell they're even supposed to be clowns.
  • Sex Sells: Their final performance really plays up their sex appeal more than their comedic skill as clowns, while the lyrics to their song "Klown Bitch" propose sex services as long as they're paid. They're fully aware that working for Mammon means being models for sex toys and they obviously could not care less.
  • Shaking the Rump: During her verse in Klown Bitch, Glam does a brief twerking dance.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: While both are very open about flaunting their sex appeal, Glitz is the much more shameless of the two, as she casually flashes her breasts to the audience during "Klown Bitch".
  • Shout-Out: Their Sea Monster designs and seductive personalities are reminiscent of the Dazzlings from My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks.
  • Sibling Team: They use their status as twins to awe the audience, but can't really keep up the mirroring when not performing.
  • Slasher Smile: Downplayed, Glitz is often shown flashing her Scary Teeth when things are going well for the sisters, which gives her a more vicious and threatening appearance, but the sisters don’t do anything against Blitzo or Fizzarolli except pose as unfriendly rivals to Fizz.
  • Smug Smiler: They're almost always smiling in a smug, arrogant fashion, especially when interacting with Fizzarolli.
  • Stocking Filler: Glitz wears a pair of stockings.
  • Superior Twin Teamwork: They're a Sibling Team of identical twins, and seem to be very in tune with each other, performing several acrobatic moves together with perfect synchrony. They're so talented that they singlehandedly convinced Mammon that women can also be funny.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: As their introduction shows, they're a team of bitchy sisters who dislike each other, something that Blitzo notes as being odd given they rely on their Superior Twin Teamwork gimmick. But they claim they focus on their performances too much to let their personal feelings affect their work, which seems to be true as they're never shown to have trouble working together.
  • Villain Song: "Klown Bitch", an energetic, tough-sounding pop song, complete with dance moves associated with such music. With lyrics that fluctuate between an "I Am" Song and an "I Want" Song, being about their claims of having taken the spotlight and flaunting their sexuality, while expressing their eager desire to quite literally sell their sex appeal to the masses and urge them to give into temptation in the name of feeding the Sin of Greed.
  • Villainy-Free Villain: They never resort to underhanded tactics to win or torment Fizz beyond some trash talk and being all-around jerks; Mammon is the main threat, not them. However, they're so rude and petty that even Blitzo gets invested in Fizz's performance to show them up.
  • Visual Pun:
    • They're fishy-looking demons up for a position as clowns, these clown bitches are clown fishes.
    • While they both can pull off a fang-filled smile, Glitz usually is the only one wearing it while Glam is prone to a disdainful frown, like comedy and tragedy masks.
  • Uncertain Doom: They're last seen being crushed by a falling pillar. As an official source confirmed that they're still alive, it's just a case of slapstick.
  • Winged Humanoid: They sprout a set of large, fin-like wings during their performance.

    Arick "Burnie" Burnz

Arick "Burnie" Burnz

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_08_at_08_58_57_helluva_boss_mammons_magnificent_musical_mid_season_special_ft_fizzarolli____s2_episode_7_youtube.png
"What? Still think you're too good to even talk to me? Still gotta get this chump to stand in for you?"

Also known as "Creepzo," Arick is a former Loony Fan of Fizzarolli turned rabid hater who blogs about how much he hates him and later intrudes upon the Clown Pageant in "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft. Fizzarolli)."

  • Abhorrent Admirer: invokedTo say he's this for Fizzarolli at first is a massive understatement. For starters, in the flashback, Blitzo immediately pins him as "that creep who's always trying to sniff around our dressing rooms," which the already extremely disturbing nature of is only slightly mitigated by the fact that Arick is clearly in the same age range as the teenage Blitzo and Fizz, but it only gets worse from there, as his pitch for a routine with Fizz is a very obvious fig leaf to essentially go on a date with him. However, after being rejected by Fizz, he spirals off the deep end and becomes a living personification of Hate Dumb.
  • All There in the Script: His name is only mentioned in the credits.
  • Asshole Victim: Given how much of a creep he is, you likely won't feel sorry for him when Blitzo blows his brains out.
  • Axe-Crazy: He starts going stir-crazy after Fizzarolli justifiably rejects him.
  • Big Bad Wannabe: Arick tries to prop himself up as Fizzarolli's nemesis and the biggest threat to him, unfortunately for Burnie, he's part of a Big Bad Ensemble with Mammon and the Glam sisters, both of whom are much more impactful to Fizz than Arick. To his credit, Burnz does manage to get under Fizz's skin before his performance.
  • Boom, Headshot!: Blitzo kills him in this way when he threatens Fizz with a knife.
  • Bullying a Dragon: He openly refers to Blitzo as a "chump" even as the latter is holding him at gunpoint, threatening to blow his brains out. Once he gets smacked by Blitzo though, he immediately retreats, after swearing to Fizz he isn't finished yet.
  • Caustic Critic: Created an entire blog dedicated to hating Fizz because he rejected his unwanted advances.
  • Depraved Homosexual: He's very creepy towards Fizz in both a possessive and sexual manner and one of his Imagine Spots shows him as a clown receiving adoration while Fizzarolli is a chained Sex Slave dressed from head to toe in bondage gear.
  • Dirty Coward: He freely insults Fizz, and even laughs in his face as he starts to have a panic attack. But all it takes is Blitzo hitting him in the face for him to retreat.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: He reacted to Fizz politely walking away from him with nothing but hate, and dedicated his life to badmouthing him.
  • Entitled to Have You: Oh yes. He obsesses over Fizz to an unhealthy degree, turns on him the moment his unwanted advances are rejected, and eventually goes so far as to try and kill Fizz for rejecting him.
  • Evil Counterpart: To Oliver. He's entitled, has no respect for Fizz as an imp or his privacy, and barges into his dressing room unannounced. While Oliver's sincere idolization raises Fizz's spirits, Arick lambasting Fizz publicly causes him to have a panic attack.
  • Fan Disservice: He has a case of Plumber's Crack going on and it's not a pretty sight.
  • Foil: He's one to Fizzarolli. Both Fizz and Arick were fans who hoped to work with those they respectively looked up to only to have a falling out. With Fizz, he was a wide-eyed fan who had nothing but admiration for Mammon only to eventually quit working for his so-called hero after being exploited for so long, walking away from what was a very toxic work relationship. Arick meanwhile was a very creepy invasive fan of Fizz's who didn't understand boundaries only to become a massive hater when Fizz refused to entertain Arick's advances, continuing to obsess over Fizz over the years rather than do anything else. Fizz and Arick are also foils when it comes to clown performance. While Fizz is shown to be a genuine clown performer with actual skill, Arick is all talk and complaints with zero indication that he himself is actually capable of doing anything related to clowning beyond his delusions of grandeur. Fizz even mirrors Arick in terms of his long-term vocal resentment towards Blitzo (especially in his first appearance where he is similarly The Heckler that got beaten up for his relentless lip) however, while Fizz ultimately managed to calm down and let go of the hate, Arick obsessed over his far more petty vendetta with Fizz to his dying moments.
  • Four Eyes, Zero Soul: He has a set of glasses with Opaque Lenses and is a creep with an Entitled to Have You attitude.
  • Geek Physiques: A Lean and Mean variant.
  • Hate Dumb: Invoked. His spurning by Fizzarolli apparently caused him to dedicate his life toward hating him and his work as a clown, including running a singleminded hate-review blog called FuckFizzButNotInASexyWay.complainer.com.org.gov.
  • Hate Sink: He's creepy, entitled, and a slob who, after Fizz was freaked out by his behavior, runs a hate site. There's nothing likable about this demon.
  • It's All About Me: When he daydreams about "everything he and Fizzarolli could've been together", he envisions himself with a crown and ermine cape while Fizzarolli, in bondage gear and on a leash, presents him with a trophy.
  • Jerkass: He's a creepy sleaze who became a Caustic Critic just to spite Fizz.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: It's coming from a complete misunderstanding of events, but Arick is right about Fizz being a sellout - the clown imp lost his passion for being Mammon's no. 1 mascot long ago, and the only reason he hasn’t quit is because he fears doing so will cause him to lose his relationship with Asmodeus. Fizzarolli himself would say during his Take This Job and Shove It song that he lost himself during his time under Mammon.
  • Killed Off for Real: Blitzo kills him when he tries to threaten Fizzarolli one last time.
  • Loony Fan: The dude could honestly give Stan Mitchell a run for his money; he's first introduced running up to Fizz and demanding to be part of his act, not-so-subtly implying that he's also in love with him, all the while invading his personal space and not giving him a chance to speak. When Fizz is understandably creeped out by this and turns him down as kindly as possible (though Blitzo less so), Arick mistakes his personal boundaries for arrogance and snobbery and turns on him, devoting the next several years of his life to hating him from afar before publicly confronting and attempting to murder the poor clown.
  • Never My Fault: Insists that Fizz was just too much of an arrogant sellout to even give him a chance when really Fizz rejected him because he was a creep who refused to respect his boundaries.
  • No Social Skills: In keeping with his Loony Fan status, Burnie seems oblivious to anyone's feelings or to the reactions he elicits, being either unaware of (or indifferent to) their boundaries. It's unclear if he's a malignant-but-genuine Cloudcuckoolander or just that far up his own ass, but his toxic overreactions kill any sympathy he might otherwise get for being a social outcast.
  • Not Good with Rejection: After Fizzarolli rejects his advances, Arick makes it his life's mission to ruin Fizz's career as much as possible.
  • Plumber's Crack: We don't see it often (thank god), but the back of his pants is always hanging low enough that his bare ass is visible.
  • Psycho Knife Nut: Barges into Fizz's room with a knife in the hopes of "finally getting him to listen", cutting short an intimate moment between Ozz and Fizz. Blitzo was on hand to make sure he didn't last more than a moment.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: He reacts very poorly to Fizzarolli's rejection, failing to realize that his creepy advances were a turnoff. Afterward, he writes up a blog about how much he hates Fizz and shows up to publicly humiliate him. He eventually decides to kill Fizz, shouting, "You're gonna listen to me now, bitch!"
  • The Resenter: He first met Fizzarolli before the latter was burned, and held a grudge for him rejecting him ever since. Based on the timeline, that makes at least fifteen years that this guy has been stewing in his hatred for Fizz.
  • Sadist: He has a huge laugh seeing Fizz have a panic attack.
  • Shadow Archetype: He is poetically one to Fizz himself, who was similarly introduced as The Resenter to Blitzo and a hypocritical heckler to him and the rest of IMP. However, while Fizz finally made peace with Blitzo, and even beforehand strove to make a name and life for himself in spite of Blitzo "living rent free in his head for years", Arick represents Fizz if he hadn't let go of the hate, or even made much of a career or lifestyle for himself besides it, being little more than a loud mouthed Loony Fan despite his bluster of talent miles beyond Fizz. Additionally, Fizz's feelings of scorn from Blitzo, while similarly out of the latter's control, were at least justified from his point of view, and he calmed down when he learned the truth, while Arick went downright berserk from Fizz politely walking away from him.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Single-Target Sexuality: He only ever had eyes for Fizzarolli, even after the latter's rejection made him go even loopier than before. He's also mentioned to use Fizz sex bots.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: He's convinced he could have been a success if he had teamed up with Fizz (with an Imagine Spot clearly depicting him as the top dog in that partnership).
  • Smug Snake: He gloats about how superior he is to his former idol, but his arrogance ultimately ends up being his own undoing, since Blitzo manages to get the best of him every time.
  • Stalker with a Crush: A really creepy one to Fizz.
  • Straw Fan: He's the living embodiment of every "toxic, entitled fan" hallmark all rolled into one.
  • Take That!: As stated above, his whole character is meant to be a jab at toxic and entitled fans.
  • Too Dumb to Live: He tried attacking Fizz in his room with a knife while Asmodeus was present. Even if Blitzo wasn't there to shoot him in the head, the King of Lust would've killed Arick on the spot himself for threatening his lover.
  • Uncleanliness Is Next to Ungodliness: Between the multitude of sweat stains all over his clothes and the fact that he doesn't even put in the effort to pull up his pants, he's clearly a major slob and this is treated as another facet of how unpleasant he is.
  • Yandere: Towards Fizzarolli. He starts out wanting to be his biggest fan and part of his act, then immediately flipped to rabid hatred when he saw Fizz as rejecting him. He then spent most of his life dedicated to trying to destroy him and eventually tried to kill him for not giving him what he wanted.

    Oliver

Oliver

"Fizzarolli! I'm a big fan!"

A young deaf imp who is a big fan of Fizzarolli. He appears only in "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft. Fizzarolli)".

  • Allegorical Character: If Arick is the embodiment of the worst of fandom, Oliver is the best: respectful, passionate, and genuinely engaged with the material. The only time Fizz is happy during the pageant is when he meets Oliver.
  • Commonality Connection: While he never finds out himself, he has broken horns like Fizz, which is why Fizz takes some time to encourage him.
  • Cute Mute: He doesn't get a single line of spoken dialogue, on account of being deaf. He's also absolutely adorable in his adoration of Fizzarolli.
  • The Cutie: In the little time he has onscreen, Oliver manages to endear himself to both Fizzarolli and the audience through his sheer sweetness and genuine love of Fizz.
  • Good Counterpart: To Arick. Arick claims to be Fizz's biggest fan but makes it clear he just wants to have Fizz all to himself and starts hating on him when Fizz rejects his advances. Oliver, on the other hand, clearly had a genuine love for Fizz that got Fizz to open up to him.
  • Nice Guy: Unlike the rest of Fizzarolli's fans, who crowd him and make him uncomfortable, Oliver remains respectful of Fizz's boundaries, only approaches him when Fizz asked him to, and is completely polite to him throughout their brief interaction. Fizz even makes sure to thank Oliver during his final performance in the pageant.
  • Rule of Symbolism: Nearly all of Fizz's fans have Mammon brands on their shirts, as they see Fizz as part of Mammon's brand rather than an artist in and of himself. Oliver has Fizz, showing how he's genuinely interested in Fizz's work.
  • The Speechless: On account of being deaf, Oliver communicates entirely through sign language.

"A bit out of your DEPTH, aren't you, little ones?"
Click here to see his human disguise
Voiced by: John Waters
The antagonist and target of "Ghostfuckers". An Infestor demon who disguised himself as a human to commit murder at the hotel he runs.
  • Animal Motifs: His real form is a fish man with a noticeable underbite, a set of massive, sharp teeth and a long fin on his back, giving him the look of a moray eel.
  • Asshole Victim: Being a sadistic Serial Killer who psychologically tortures Blitzo, his death will likely not garner sympathy, brutal though it was.
  • Bald of Evil: Tries to hide his receding hairline with an unflattering combover, which Millie mocks.
  • Black Bug Room: During his Demonic Possession of Blitzo, he psychologically tortures him by showing him traumatic memories in a movie theater.
  • Blob Monster: Turns into an inky shadow creature at a few points.
  • Break Them With Lies: Attempts this with Millie in order to further hurt Blitzo, claiming he only sees her as Dumb Muscle and a Half-Witted Hillbilly... but it doesn't work, not only because she's long since gotten over the issues he's trying to prey on, but because she’s got no reason to believe anything he says.
  • Breaking Old Trends: There are three things that make Rolando stand out from previous antagonists in the show.
    • On a minor scale, he is the first hit I.M.P had that was a fellow demon.
    • He's the first threat I.M.P. faces - as well as the first low-ranking demon in the entire Hellaverse - to possess supernatural abilities, which was so far only reserved for Goetias, Deadly Sins and Overlords, none of which I.M.P. faced before.
    • Perhaps the biggest stand-out from other villains so far is that Rolando is not a joke, and is played completely seriously throughout the whole episode. Even Striker and Crimson had a few Laughably Evil moments, but not this guy.
  • Dastardly Whiplash: He sports a pencil mustache, making him further resemble his voice actor, John Waters.
  • Demonic Possession: His modus operandi involves possessing his victims and puppeting their bodies around while forcing them to witness their worst memories. He's also notable for being a rare instance of a demon possessing another demon.
  • Electrified Bathtub: Blitzo finishes him off by electrocuting him in a pool.
  • Emotion Eater: Whilst possessing Blitzø, he tells him that his level of insecurity is "intoxicating" and that he can't wait to see how he "tastes" once he drives Millie away too. While it's obvious that this means he feeds off his victims' emotions, it's less clear if he requires negative emotions specifically or if any emotions will do and he personally just likes sowing despair.
  • Evil Has a Bad Sense of Humor: It's clear from his ever-present Slasher Smile and constant evil laughter and cruelly quipping at the expense of his would-be victims that he finds the pain he puts others through absolutely hilarious; he takes particular pleasure in his Mind Rape of Blitzo, forcing him to relive his most traumatic experiences with the flippant, laid-back demeanor of someone enjoying a movie.
  • Evil Is Hammy: He comes across as deadpan and surly when first encountered, but once he shows his demonic true colors, he absolutely revels in his evilness with as much scenery-chewing aplomb that John Waters can muster.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: In his human disguise, he has a normal voice, but in his true form, he speaks in a terrifying deep demonic voice.
  • Evil Laugh: Maniacal laughter takes up a good portion of his dialogue.
  • Evil Old Folks: He looks like an elderly man in both of his forms (being visually based on his voice actor, John Waters, who was 78 at the time of the episode's release) and he's a demonic Serial Killer.
  • Expy: A ghostly, demonic Serial Killer that psychologically tortures his victims with trauma from their past, feeds off their emotions (namely fear), has a bad sense of humor with a hammy performance, and has a penchant for taunting his victims by calling them a "bitch." Now, doesn't that sound familiar?
  • Eye Scream: During his High-Voltage Death after being electrocuted by Blitzo in the hotel pool, his eyeballs explode into goop inside their sockets as he fries.
  • Fantastic Racism: Implied. He condescendingly calls Blitzo and Millie "little ones" and refers to Millie as a "filthy little Wrathian" whilst possessing Blitzo to attack her. It's not clear if he's actually racist against imps or if he just wanted to get under Millie's skin after hearing her pour her heart out to Blitzo.
  • Fiendish Fish: He's a fish man who's evil to his core.
  • Fish People: His true form resembles a humanoid fish monster. Humorously lampshaded right before Blitzo kills him — after Blitzo knocks him into a pool, Rolando glares at him incredulously, as if questioning what he thought knocking a fish demon into water was going to accomplish.
  • For the Evulz: In contrast to IMP and other demons seen meddling in the human world, Rolando torments and murders random humans seemingly for no purpose other than his own enjoyment.
  • Genius Bruiser: Rolando is both a cunning manipulator and a powerful fighter at the same time, and manages to go toe-to-toe with both Blitzo and Millie in a fight.
  • Glass Cannon: He's a Genius Bruiser who can hit surprisingly hard, but he's also not quite as good at taking a hit, which Millie takes full advantage of when beating him out of Blitzo's body.
  • Good Hair, Evil Hair: A demonic Serial Killer who sports John Waters' signature pencil mustache.
  • Hell Hotel: He ran one on Earth, aptly named the "One Star Wonder," and masqueraded as its human owner to lure his unsuspecting victims to their demise, not before feeding on their emotions and psychologically tormenting them. Said hotel has all the hallmarks of a haunting akin to The Overlook, which he blames the hypothetical "ghost" for his killings.
  • The Hyena: It takes a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown and an Electrified Bathtub to get him to stop laughing maniacally.
  • Inconsistent Spelling: He's Rolando in the credits, but Ronaldo in the captions. The latter is likely a typo, which was outright confirmed when the merchandise also called him Rolando.
  • Ink-Suit Actor: Both his human and demon form bear a striking resemblance to his voice actor, John Waters.
  • Lean and Mean: He's rather tall and skinny, and he's also a serial killing demon.
  • Lecherous Licking: He creepily licks Blitzo's neck after possessing him and transporting him to a Black Bug Room, likely to taste his insecurity.
  • Logical Weakness: As an aquatic demon, you can't drown him... but you can electrocute him.
  • Making a Splash: Mixed with Casting a Shadow, Rolando displays the ability to turn into a shadowy Blob Monster and it's even implied he can quick travel through pipes, as shown when Millie knocks him into a wall and he re-emerges in the pool behind her. Fitting, given the fishlike appearance of his demon form. He even makes a little Stealth Pun about it right before revealing his true form to the imps:
Rolando: A bit out of your depth, aren't you, little ones?
  • Master of Illusion: In true haunted house fashion, he uses illusions to torment Blitzo the first time around, surrounding him with illusory copies of Millie, tormenting him with a vision of his mother, and making the hallways seem longer and more maze-like than they actually are. His human disguise is also implied to be an illusion.
  • Mind Rape: What makes him a serious threat. He enjoys fucking with his victims’ mind by showing them their worst memories (either through illusions or by possessing them), before killing them.
  • Monster of the Week: The main threat of "Ghostfuckers".
  • Non-Mammalian Hair: He retains his hair and pencil-thin mustache in his true, fish-like form (though his hair looks rather fin-like).
  • Obviously Evil: The leering, rail-thin, balding owner of a Hell Hotel is up to no good? Who would ever have guessed?
  • Our Ghosts Are Different: Infestor demons like him are the source of this world's legends of ghosts - obviously, they are not actually the souls of the dead (who go straight to Heaven or Hell as needed) but living demons from the Envy ring with distinctly poltergeist-like powers.
  • Power Floats: He can levitate.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: He's very immature for an elderly Serial Killer; he cruelly demeans and talks down to Blitzo and Millie like a schoolyard bully, and his constant laughter and condescending quips at their expense demonstrate how torture and murder are just a source of entertainment to him. He even plays a game of "eenie-meenie-miney-mo" when deciding which imp to possess and adopts a Mocking Sing-Song when declaring his intent to kill Millie with Blitzo's body.
  • Sadist: He really loves tormenting Blitzo and stoking his trauma and insecurity. He tries it with Millie too, though she's less receptive to it.
  • Serial Killer: He's murdered many of his guests at his hotel, disguising the murders as supernatural phenomena.
  • Sinister Shades: He wears different pairs of sunglasses in his human and demon forms.
  • Slasher Smile: His default expression, when he's not smugly smirking.
  • Slippery as an Eel: His demon form looks like an eel, and he's a villain.
  • Smug Super: He's arrogant and sadistic, but he is genuinely dangerous and more than capable of backing up his smugness before he's defeated.
  • Stealth Pun: A fish demon who's voiced by John Waters.
  • Stronger Than You Look: For a guy who looks like a frail old man, he's a pretty good fighter, though he's also a bit of a Glass Cannon.
  • This Is for Emphasis, Bitch!: He calls Millie a "bitch" multiple times during their fight.
  • Viler New Villain: Despite his one-time appearance not being able to make the show darker than it already is, he proves himself to be even worse than villains like Striker and Crimson. While the latter two at least have a few Laughably Evil moments despite their more serious nature compared to other villains, Rolando is a murderous Sadist with little to no comedic moments or redeeming qualities whatsoever.
  • Villain Ball: His desire to torment Blitzo by driving Millie away like he’s done to everyone else in his life, coupled with his belief that she’s still insecure about her status as an imp, leads him to toy with her instead of just killing her during their fight - he claims Blitzo sees her as nothing but "a brute too stupid to do anything but kill" and a backwards hick who should’ve never left her farm, fully expecting her to break under his psychological torment as easily as Blitzo did… but because he failed to see that Millie’s long since gotten over the insecurities he’s attempting to prey on (and that she’s got not reason to believe anything he says as he’s actively possessing her friend and trying to harm her), it fails and fails hard, completely throwing him off and allowing her to gain the upper hand.
  • Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: Massively downplayed; this is still Helluva Boss we're all talking about. However, for the majority of the time, the show is a Black Comedy first and foremost, where swearing and sex jokes are the norm and pretty much every villain is Laughably Evil (assuming they're even real threats in the first place). Despite being a mere Monster of the Week and not a big-time villain, however, Rolando stands out from pretty much every other Hellaverse villain for one simple reason: he's not Laughably Evil. Once he's revealed as the antagonist, "Ghostfuckers" turns into the most serious and scariest episode in the show, where Blitzo is mentally tortured by Rolando using his trauma against him and trying the same with Millie, breaking him mentally more than recurring villains like Striker did.
  • Voice of the Legion: Rolando has an echo-y reverberation sound to his voice in his true form, which carries through his possession of Blitzo.
    Rolando: You call yourselves assassins!?

    Yogirt

Yogirt

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2024_11_29_at_70315pm.png
Voiced by: Jack Plotnick
Satan's personal attendant, anger management coach, and assistant.
  • Butt-Monkey: When Stolas interrupts Blitzo's execution, Satan immediately squeezes him like a stress toy while demanding to know what's happening.
  • High Collar of Doom: Zig-Zagged. On the one hand, he does have a big collar on his cloak, but on the other hand, he's portrayed as a personal anger management coach rather than an actively malicious character.
  • Irony: Just the fact that the Deadly Sin of Wrath would have his own personal anger management coach is equal parts surreal, ironic, and kind of funny.
  • Morality Chain: His job seems to reign in Satan's rage before it goes nuclear. Considering "Wrath" is in his title and Yogirt only steps in when it looks like he's ready to incinerate I.M.P., it's very likely he's just there to keep him from violating the decorum of his job as Judge.
    Satan: SILENCE!
Yogirt: Um, Satan? Sorry. W-wh-what did we say about negative energies in our mind temple? Yeah, remember to take deeeeep breaths.
Satan: [centers himself] Right, yeah. Continue.
  • New-Age Retro Hippie: Has shades of this, encouraging Satan to "align his chakras" and describing the day as "amethyst".
  • Vile Villain, Laughable Lackey: Satan is the Sin of Wrath, a large imposing draconic Hanging Judge who created Imps to be a Servant Race. Yogirt is his comical assistant who manages to calm him down.

Alternative Title(s): Helluva Boss Fizzarolli
