  • The Unfought: She is a baddie in Snow Ashes Story Zone, but chooses to let some monsters do the fighting rather than personally engage in combat.

    Prelati

Prelati (プレラティ)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/prelati_8.png

  • Crossdresser: If you thought the real clergyman was genderswapped for this game, you'd be wrong. He simply likes to cosplay as Jeanne d'Arc.
  • One-Winged Angel: He readies himself for battle by turning into the same towering Chaos Teller from Bluebeard Story Zone, François Prelati.
  • Palette Swap: Of Saint Jeanne d'Arc.

As soon as they get out of the castle, everybody makes it clear that they know about said affair (thanks to Merlin's ability to see the future), and causes Hot-Blooded Mordred to revolt and declare war per accordance with his fate of bringing upon the fall of Camelot.

    Baron Munchausen

Baron Munchausen (ミュンヒハウゼン男爵)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/baronportraitdoneright_7.png

  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: In 12-39, right after Deus Prometheus takes away the object that has been keeping him alive for so long, the guy gets terrified of dying. The only thing he can do is beg his former leader to save him.
  • Alas, Poor Villain: Despite all the horrible things the bastard did, Revol and the rest can't help but to feel bad for the way Baron left the world. Deus mocks them for pitying him.
  • Almost Dead Guy: In his last breath, Baron drops a cryptic hint on Elena about how to defeat Deus Prometheus, much to the later's brief dismay.
    Nobody: .........
    Deus: ?
Nobody: The "Mirror"... Find it, Elena!
    Deus: !?
    Elena: The "Mirror"...?
    Nobody: Aah...............
  • Classy Cravat: Wears a white cravat around his neck.
  • The Dragon: To Prometheus.
  • Dying as Yourself: Downplayed. After he is defeated as Chaos Munchausen, he reverts back to his true form (or at least a ghostly figure resembling him), and fades away from existence while also being unable to remember his original identity.
  • Hidden Villain: The "Beanstalk Traveler", responsible for planting the beanstalks seeds that lead up to all the Beanstalk Caputre events, is revealed to be him in Chivalric Romance Story Zone.
  • I Have Many Names: Call himself Baron Munchausen, Baron Vordenburg, and his codename is Orion. His real name is never revealed though.
  • Identity Amnesia: The Baron Munchausen that interacts with everyone else is not the actual guy, but a Blank Book Owner who connected with the character and stayed like that for hundreds of years (thanks to the Holy Grail). By the time of the game's plot, the boy's soul had already fused with the Baron's, which caused him to completely forget his original identity. Deus (and the dialogue box) calls him a "Nobody" (何者でもない者) as a result.
  • Immortality Inducer: The Holy Grail, an artifact that grants him immortality. Once Deus Prometheus takes it away from Baron's ghost, he starts to slowly fade away.
  • Last Episode, New Character: Is seen as a silhoutte chatting with Hecate at the end of "Holy Night, Small Miracle - Part 2". His art would be revealed later along with the Frankenstein Story Zone cast in a news article.
  • One-Winged Angel: His Chaos Teller form, Chaos Munchausen.
  • Shapeshifter Mode Lock: He has been permanently connected with Baron's appearance for centuries. Not that he cares.
  • Those Two Guys: He and the Shaman of the Mirror are the Imagines of Shadowwalker Andersen.
  • The Voice: Baron in his original body is never properly seen. What we see in flashbacks is the silhoutte of a generic villager boy, and that includes his final moments (to which Alicia comments he looks like a ghost).
  • When He Smiles: Baron always sports a fake smirk to make him look like a cunning smartass, but he pulls off a genuine closed-eyes smile in Final World Part 2, in front of Shadowman Andersen and the Shaman of the Mirror. Curiously, he's the only side-character in the game who has a different facial expression.

Fortem Story Zone

    Swallow

Swallow (ツバメ)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/swallow_2.png

Chivalric Romance Story Zone

    Sancho Junior

Sancho Junior (サンチョ・ジュニア)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sanchojunior.png

  • Ancestral Name: Shares her name with her father... Despite being an obviously masculine name.
  • Girls Love Stuffed Animals: So much that she wears one on her head.
  • Revenge: Once Junior gets to be alone with Alonso Quixano (also formerly known as Don Quixote), she reveals that she has been planning to murder him to avenge Sancho Panza's death, believing that Alonso's idiocy and delusional attitude got her father killed. Junior deals a fatal shot on Alonso, but starts having second thoughts once he reveals Sancho Panza encouraged Alonso to become the hero he wanted to be, and died on his own terms and without regret.
  • Red Herring: For a while, the party believes Junior is the Chaos Teller of the Chivalric Romance Story Zone. They are very wrong.
  • The Ugly Guy's Hot Daughter: Well, more cute than hot. Sancho Panza was not a good-looking man, not to mention he was overweight.

    Merlin (Repage)

Merlin (マーリン)

Snow Ashes Story Zone

    Ilsa

Ilsa (イルザ)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ilsa_4.png

    Shaman of the Mirror

Shaman of the Mirror (鏡の巫女)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mirrormaiden_5.png

  • Actually Pretty Funny: She can't help but to laugh at the party when they are left speechless after witnessing Deus Prometheus "dying" in 14-1-21. The fact that they don't seem to be happy that their nemesis is dead really weirds her out.
  • Arc Villain: In her symbol event as the Mirror Plate Fiend.
  • Died in Your Arms Tonight: Heavily injured from her last battle, the Shaman is left emotionally broken since Deus left her behind when he crossed the giant portal. Then Dorothea procceeds to give her a Cooldown Hug while she's at the brink of death.
  • The Dragon: To Deus Prometheus, not too long after Baron Munchausen banishes from existence.
  • Last Episode, New Character: Deus summons her at the end of Snow Ashes Story Zone.
  • I Have Many Names: Her actual name is Anunciata, a side-character from "The Improvisatore" (an autobiographical novel by Andersen), who fell sick and died.
  • Go Through Me: After opening the giant portal in 15-1-22, she fights the party, giving enough time for Deus Prometheus to escape.
  • Resistance Is Futile: Says this when Chaos King Midas and the Hellish Barbers outnumber the party in 14-1-19. Revol naturally doesn't give up that easy.
  • One-Winged Angel: Whenever she has to beat up somebody, she turns into the Mirror Plate Fiend. This transformation also makes her a lot tired.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Deus Prometheus.
  • Those Two Guys: She and Baron Munchausen are the Imagines of Shadowman Andersen.

Grimms Notes Story Zone

    Noémie

Noémie (ノエミ)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/noemi_1.png

  • Big Brother Bully: To Fam. Also In the anime, both her and Dorothee love to laugh at Cinderella's misery.
  • Curtains Match the Window: Has blonde hair and golden eyes.
  • Smug Smiler: Just look at her artwork.
  • You Don't Look Like You: Both stepsisters were introduced in the anime first, and they look nothing like how they are portrayed in the game. It is not even clear which stepsister is supposed to be Noémie or Dorothée. The only thing she shares in common with her anime counterpart is the blonde hair.

    Dorothée

Dorothée (ドロテ)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dorothee_0.png

  • Big Brother Bully: Again, to Fam. And in the anime, neither she or Noémie treat Cinderella well in the anime.
  • Curtains Match the Window: Her dark green hair and green eyes go well together.
  • Sympathetic Villain, Despicable Villain: Dorothée took part in the bullying of Fam, yet she confesses to the party that she feels very guilty about it. When no one was looking, Dorothée would take care of Fam, if only to make herself feel good. Noémie on the other hand, never shows the slightest regret about being a jackass her stepsister.
  • Peer-Pressured Bully: Dorothée feared that if she tried to stop her mother and sister from ridiculing Fam, she herself would be a victim of their bullying too. So she reluctantly joined her family in the abuse.
  • Pet the Dog: She recounts how Fam was forced by Haltière to sleep inside their mansion's attic, in the middle of winter, and with no food. So Dorothée would secretly feed Fam and cover her with a blanket.
  • You Don't Look Like You: Again, totally different in the anime. Both stepsisters in the anime have blonde hair, so whoever Dorothée is supposed to be, neither one of them look like her.

Final World

    Chaos

Chaos (カオス)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mrchaos.png
The real form of Deus Prometheus after he gets forcibly separated from his host following the battle with Chaos Andersen.

Others

    Minor Characters

In General

The Worker

A little creature that always helped you build your Miniature Kingdom, provided you had the required materials.

  • Adapted Out: Due to the Miniature Kingdom part being wiped out from the offline version, he is nowhere to be seen.
  • No Name Given: We are calling him the Worker for lack a of a proper name.

Elizabeth (エリザベス)

The stepsister of Victor Frankenstein.

  • Arranged Marriage: By Victor's father, no less. She gives Victor the news following the murder of Clerval.
  • Character Death: Killed by Frankenstein's monster after the former refused to create a wife for said monster.
  • Reused Character Design: She uses the generic noblewoman sprite.

The Mouse (ネズミ)

First appearance: (怪盗キャットにご用心!)
A servant of Puss in Boots. He was a shapseshifting ogre who was tricked into becoming a mouse by Puss.

  • Asshole Victim: Puss kills the mouse once he gets defeated. He had it coming after betraying Puss and manipulating Josephine into wrecking havoc in France.
  • The Farmer and the Viper: Puss in Boots, rather than killing the mouse as he did in the original tale, chose to spare him on the condition that the mouse becomes his servant. The mouse was fine with this, until he got the opportunity to get revenge by manipulating Puss' daugther into destroying Paris.
  • Kill All Humans: This was his goal, and he planned to do so by infesting Paris with rat-like monsters.
  • I Lied: Josephine did everything the mouse told her to on the false promise that her father would return from his journey. The mouse flat out tells her that he lied once she is no longer of use.
  • The Man Behind the Man: Josephine may be the villain of her event, but the mouse was the one pulling all the strings.
  • The Voice: Never seen on-screen.

Young Man (若者)

First appearance: Hero Episode "Mirror, Mirror" (鏡よ、鏡)
A nomadic man who intervened in a fight between a snake and an antelope. He chose to kill the antelope to save the snake, and becomes the owner of the Magic Mirror as a reward. Heavily implied to be Gopani-Kufa.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: The original Gopani-Kufa was a loving family father and a good king to his people. This guy however, while starting a decent person, becomes a violent tyrant hated by everybody, even by his subordinates.
  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: His murder is met with celebration by everybody, except for the Magic Mirror, who most likely did not give a shit.
  • Asshole Victim: The greed got the better of the young man by the time he became king, which caused him to be hated by his people, and being murdered by one of his generals while the guards that were supposed to protect him willingly allowed the regicide to happen.
  • Digging Yourself Deeper: He was warned by the antelope that the snake's treasure will be his doom, and the Magic Mirror told him not to ask questions she does not know, for that will lead him to the path of destruction. An old witch also demanded him to get rid of the Magic Mirror before he gets cursed. He did not listen, and asked the Magic Mirror things she did not know for a very long time, in order to achieve glory. Fast forward to the present, he had signed his death warrant a long time ago.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Inverted. On top being reduced to a minor character, his name is never mentioned.
  • Karmic Death: He is murdered the same way he killed the antelope that cursed him on its dying breath; by spear impalement.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Gender inverted. Was this with the Magic Mirror for a time, due to his energetic and incredibly reckless behaviour, in contrast to her grounded and emotionless personality.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: The man only appears in just two scenes before his death. Yet it if not for him, the Magic Mirror (who is a very important character in Snow Ashes Story Zone) would not exist in the first place.
  • Tyrannicide: A victim of this, by a soldier squad that had enough of him.
  • The Voice: He is not seen on-screen.

Kaneuri Kichiji (金売り吉次)

First appearance: Hero Episode "A Talker's Solo Trip" (トーカーの一人旅)
A gold-seller who accompanied Ushiwakamaru and Benkei to Oshu. He is Lafcadio's target in his Hero Episode.
  • Big Bad Wannabe: The dude was truly an ambitious individual with a big plan: Kichiji intended to kill Ushiwakamaru via poisoned food so he could manipulate Taira no Kiyomori, steal from the Heike clan, take over said clan, and become the ruler of the Story Zone. All of this explained by Lafcadio, who kills Kichiji before he could even get to mix the food with poison.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Kichiji pretended to serve as a humble guide to Ushiwakamaru and Benkei, while secretly plotting to kill them for his own ambitions.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Originally someone whose role was simply to send Ushiwakamaru off to Oshu, Kichiji was not content with his that, so he was on the way to become a Chaos Teller to take over the Heike clan and rule the Story Zone.
  • Tampering with Food and Drink: He intended to mix Ushiwakamaru's food with poison, which Kichiji had stored in a pill inside his pocket. Lafcadio shows up just in time to deal with Kichiji before the latter could take the pill out.
