#9: The Knight in Screaming Armor

Abbey Saxton

One of "your" British cousins.

Character Tics: She tends to touch her hair a fair amount, and in one ending when "you" and Kip see a bird doing a similar thing with the feathers on the top of its head, the two of you soon put two and two together...
Control Freak: Downplayed, but near the beginning you say that she acts like the queen of the world sometimes.
Deadpan Snarker: Sometimes. One ending even says "she always has to have the last word in THE END."
The Load: Subverted, she seems to be this at first but is actually pretty brave (and fights off some snakes single handedly at one point.)
Lovable Alpha Bitch: She seems like just a jerk at first, but you gradually find out she's a decent enough girl, if kind of full of herself.
Proud Beauty: She's really pretty, and she knows it. Her Establishing Character Moment starts with her looking in the mirror and primping her hair. Later on, when you find a beautiful clock, she even says "it's pretty, like me."
Skewed Priorities: At one point, when she's almost electrocuted and her hair stands on end. Her main fear is that she might never get her hair to curl again.
Vanity Is Feminine: Admittedly, she has a lot to be vain about.

Your other cousin, and Abbey's brother.

Flat Character: Unlike Abbey, he's pretty much just a generically nice kid.
Nice Guy: Nicer than Abbey, at least.
Vague Age: He's just said to be "your" age (implied to be 12 or so) whereas Abbey is 15.

Animated Armor: He's basically a Vengeful Ghost possessing the armor he wore in life.
Black Knight: He doesn't have literal black armor, but is still an evil knight.
Demonic Possession: He was created by a Wicked Witch as a living suit of armor with an evil spirit inside, and possessed the good knight Sir Edmund Saxon, and made him murder his friends and family.
Sadist: Seems to really like tormenting you and your cousins. At one point he turns Abbey into a bird just because she's terrified of flying.
Screaming Warrior: Well, it's in his title.
