Alistair Wells
Alistair Wells is the Player's partner and mentor as they learn the ins and outs of the Time Society. His public actions for the Society are characterized by openness and an uncanny work ethic. However, he tends to keep to himself as it relates to personal affairs. Alistair carries a dignified air about him but is not above the occasional joke or friendly tease.
- Berserk Button:
- Breaking the rules of the Time Society is a quick way to tick Alistair off. Which may be why he and Richard don't get along.
- People too distracted by romantic affairs is also a quick way to irritate him. This shows when Megan fantasizes about her and Quincy in chapter 3.
- Deadpan Snarker: He has his moments.Alistair: Looks like you nailed the landing this time, MeganMegan: Oh har har.
- The Mentor: To most new recruits, but to the Player and Megan, specifically.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: With Richard.
- Team Mom: A rare male example. He's a more nurturing figure than Eleanor, is personally tasked with mentoring newer agents, and is one hell of a cook.
Eleanor Lansing Purlieu
Eleanor Lansing Purlieu is a long-standing member of the Time Society. She has grown comfortably into her role as the matriarch of the organization, and often acts accordingly. A social butterfly in the truest sense of the word, Eleanor has been known to socialize with charismatic and intriguing characters from throughout time.
- Fiery Redhead: A mix of Hot-Blooded and Iron Lady, with red hair to match.
- Iron Lady: NO ONE should ever want to tick her off. Caesar learns this the hard way.
- Lady and Knight: The bright lady to Geoffrey's white knight.
- Love Makes You Crazy: Not only did she mess up time in order to have her beloved Geoffrey live, she was willing to make sure that Cleopatra was dead and not found alive by Richard. She wasn't able to go through with it, though, thanks to the intervention of Quincy and Enrique, and is very shaken when it all sinks in.
- Redhead In Green - Significant Green-Eyed Redhead: In addition to having green eyes and red hair, she also dons a green and white dress.
- Team Dad: A rare female example. As the local Iron Lady, and one who has next to no patience with people messing up.

Richard Wakefield
Richard Wakefield is a shrewd character whose superb skill at correcting time disturbances, and tendency to be local to every major occurrence in the Society has earned him the distrust of many of his fellow colleagues. Alistair in particular often opposes Richard's involvement in the Society and disapproves of his frequent rule-bending.
- Butt-Monkey: Occasionally falls into this. i.e, one of the stages features the PC meeting up a VERY angry Richard having to clean up a whole city by himself after a huge time paradox destroyed it
- Dastardly Whiplash: Subverted. He has the looks and a bit of the personality, but he is not a villain. He used to be one, however.
- Handsome Lech: He had affairs with Eleanor and Cleopatra and he kinda flirted a bit with Megan, but eventually falls in love with Lulu.
- The Scapegoat: Is frequently to blame when things go awry, even though they're almost always not his fault.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: With Alistair.
- Smug Snake: Especially early on. He does get better, though.
Megan Kher
Megan Kher is another recent inductee into the Society, coming from a background of privilege that she'd rather not discuss. As a relatively fresh face, not much is known about her beyond her fondness for epicurean delights and surprisingly short fuse. Her specialties are Chinese and Roman culture, though she is eager for all forms of knowledge, and is a very quick learner. She hails from Colonial India.
- Because You Were Nice to Me: She gummed up badly in her first mission and was almost discharged, but the PC helped her go back to her feet. She's very grateful to him/her as a result.
- Genki Girl: Very cheerful and emotional.
- Hard-Drinking Party Girl: She has shades of this early on.
- Love at First Sight: She falls for Quincy in the very first chapter that they meet.
- Love Makes You Evil: Because Quincy was so preoccupied with trying to get with Eleanor, Megan snapped turned against the Time Society and joined sides with Caesar. This all turns out to be a lie in order to capture Caesar.
- The Plan: For a while, Megan made everyone, even the player character, believe that she had betrayed the Time Society and joined forces with Caesar. This, of course, turns out to be a trick concocted by her, Alistair, and Eleanor in order to lead Caesar into a trap, and Megan was the perfect "bait" since her expertise was in Classical Roman history.
- Pink Is Feminine: She always wears a pink Pimped-Out Dress.
Quincy Bolthouse
Quincy Bolthouse is, for lack of a better term, a Victorian Computer Geek. His brilliant mind and befuddling techno-babble vocabulary have earned him the role of Chief Technologist. However, were it not for his awkward boyish charm, it is unlikely that he would have risen so quickly through the ranks. No one knows, or for that matter, questions how Quincy amassed such a wealth of time travel knowledge at such a young age. Rather, he is only called upon when a time device falls into disrepair, allowing him to spend his free moments toiling away at new time device schematics.
- Brainy Brunette: A very intelligent young man with brown hair.
- Gadgeteer Genius: His primary role in the Society.
Lulu Milton
Lulu Milton is the fashion plate of the Time Society and its biggest free spirit. Never one for modesty, Lulu adorns herself in extravagant clothing from various eras of time. In addition to providing her with an ever-expanding wardrobe, this also makes it hard to identify Lulu's time period of origin - a secret she keeps close to her heart. Her carefree approach to time travel and life, in general, has caused some strife between her and other society members, but her bubbly mirth and good nature keep anyone from being upset with her for very long.
- Cool Big Sis: Acts like this towards the PC.
- The Flapper: Of course, coming from The Roaring '20s.
- Genki Girl: Even more so than Megan.
- Gossipy Hens: Even more so. Hell, her gossipy tendencies are what caused Quincy to fall into a temporary depression when he thought Eleanor and Richard got back together.
- Lovable Alpha Bitch: Kind of a Rich Bitch at first sight, but is in the end still very lovable and good natured.
- Innocent Blue Eyes: Which adds to her naive and innocent nature.
Enrique Manners
Initially an informant of Alistair, Enrique was promoted to time agent during Eleanor's ban from time traveling.- Handsome Lech: Not as bad as Richard, but he still has his moments.
- Just Like Robin Hood: Inverted, he's implied to have been the person who inspired Robin of Locksley to become Robin Hood.
Chauncey McNichols
An eccentric older member of The Time Society.- Absent-Minded Professor: He fits many traits, save for being an actual Professor.
- The Cameo: He makes a cameo appearance in the short-lived game Blackwood And Bell Mysteries.
- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: He's very, VERY easily distracted.
- Cool Old Guy: For all his flaws, he's a very kind and cheerful guy.
Sir Geoffrey
A knight from King Arthur's round table that is met by chance. He later develops a relationship with Eleanor, only to day later on in a heroic sacrifice.- Heroic Sacrifice: He dies when he pushes Eleanor out of the way of a jouster that was coming at her, getting struck instead.
- Lady and Knight: The knight to Eleanor's lady.
