The Galaxy Rescue Force

    Ultraman Ribut 
One of the two primary protagonists and narrators of the Voice Drama, alongside his childhood friend Sora. Together the two of them chronicle their the day to day lives and experiences as members of the Galaxy Rescue Force.

  • But Now I Must Go: After the ordeal with Daada has ended, Ribut decides to take a temporary leave to train himself on Earth. The country he goes to? Malaysia.
  • The Knights Who Say "Squee!": Gets very excited at the thought of Justice and Seven 21 sparing against each other.
  • Power Trio: Eventually he forms one with Poccolo and RB, the Galaxy Rescue Force's newest recruits.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The red to Sora's blue, the colors of their ultra armors even correlate.
  • She Is Not My Girlfriend: When he and Sora were meeting Kenis for the first time he asked the two of them if they were an item, they both denied it very quickly.
  • Ship Tease: A bit with Sora.
    • He puts himself between Kenis and Sora when the former starts to flirt with her, which leads into the aforementioned She Is Not my Girlfriend instance.
    • Poccola asks him a question about his relationship with Sora while the Two of them are on a mission and Ribut ends up getting notably flustered.
    • While he tries to deny it, he definitely feels conflicted when Sora goes out on a date with Daada.

    Sora 
The other primary protagonist and narrator of the Voice Drama. Operating primarily as mission control and technological maintenance, she helps the Galaxy Rescue Force by providing her teammates important information on their missions and repairing their weapons and equipment.
  • 24-Hour Armor: As of yet, she has not once been seen on screen without the Flower Tector.
  • Brainwashed: Happens to her in the 27th voice drama courtessy of Daada, who uses her knowledge and skills for his own evil plans.
  • Motor Mouth: She can be surprisingly talkative about certain subjects, as Ribut learned the hard way.
  • Tsundere: She normally leans towards the sweet side, but she can be snippy at times especially when it comes to Ribut.

    Andro Melos 


  • Demoted to Extra: As if signifying Ribut's growth, Melos makes less appearances in the second half in the voice drama when Ribut is assigned to train the new recruits, Poccolo and RB.
  • Passing the Torch: He transferred leadership of the Andro Defense Force after joining the Galaxy Rescue Force, but it's not specified to whom he transferred it to.

    Queen Izana 

  • Training from Hell: Puts Ribut through one, and is implied to have put many other recruits through the same process.

    Gukulushisa 

  • Intelligible Unintelligible: He only communicates through roars and growls, but is easily understood by most members of the Rescue Force.
  • Last of His Kind: Possibly Queen Izana mentioned that his species were dying out when she recruited him.

    Kenis 
A being from Nebula KJ-K5 who did not like his race's one-sided ideals, which caused him to defect and join the Galaxy Rescue Force as an expert in covert operations.

    Poccola 
The classmate of the neighborhood friend of the cousin of the father of Prince Piccolo (see here for details). He hopes to one day fight Ultraman Taiga in order to restore his people's honor after the prince lost his fight against Taiga's father.

  • Beware the Silly Ones: he may look like a wooden puppet, but he has an impressive right hook, as Dinozaur learned the hard way.
  • The Bus Came Back: The first reapparance of an Alien Piccolo since their debut in Taro.
  • Super-Strength: Befitting his race, he has immense amount of physical strength.
  • Unknown Rival: To Ultraman Taiga whom he wants to defeat to restore his people's honor, but Taiga does not even know he exists.

    Reionics Alien Babarue (RB) 
An Alien Babarue who's DNA was encoded with Alien Reiblood's essence. After the events of Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle, RB found himself destitute and forced to operate as a bandit to survive, using the Nova he acquired to help with that. Joining the Galaxy Rescue Force primarily on the promise of food and a warm place to sleep, his Reionics powers and shapeshifting abilities promise to make him a powerful asset.

  • Ascended Extra: From what's essentially a Monster of the Week to a recurring character in the voice drama.
  • The Beastmaster: As a Reionics he can control certain kaiju through his Battlenizer.
  • Break the Haughty: He went from a proud Reionics with ambitions to rule the universe to being forced to steal food to just survive after his Antlar was killed.
  • The Bus Came Back: It's the same Babarue from Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey returning twelve years after being forced to flee from his fight against Rei.
  • Casanova Wannabe: He gained notoriety from other female members due to his attempts to seduce them with Ribut even stating they plan on putting up warning signs.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He is a rather lazy and boastful person, but is genuinely grateful to the Galaxy Rescue Force for taking him in and tries to improve himself upon learning how many complaints there are about him.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifter: Like other members of his species, which is why Kenis finds him an ideal member of his division due to its potential in infiltration and decoy missions. He first demonstrates by changing into Ribut. Sora even comments that the imitation is flawless.

    Nova 
RB's new monster whom he uses to travel the universe and steal food to make ends meet.

  • Tentacled Terror: In this series, Nova is revealed to have 20,000 poisonous tentacles under its cape, which Sora is eager to study.
  • Token Heroic Orc: The first Saucer Beast (and Nova) on the side of good.
  • Worf Had the Flu: Nova is usually a very strong Saucer Beast, but due to suffering from hunger, it was very weak and gave up the fight against Ribut and Melos.

    Daada 
A Dada working at the Science Technology Division, where he gains an interest in his co-worker, Sora.

Other Ultras

    Ultraman Neos 
A member of the Elite Task Force, who happens to cross paths with the Galaxy Rescue Force after returning from a mission. He was also Gukulushisa sparring partner and is able to understand him.
  • Big Damn Heroes: His appearance includes killing Bemstar when it tries to run away from Ribut and Melos.

    Ultraman Joneus 
The strongest warrior of U40 who came to negotiate an allience between his planet and the Galaxy Rescue Force due to sharing the same ideals for peace.

    Ultraman Justice 
An Ultra who upholds the will of universal order. He came to the Galaxy Rescue Force headquarters to deliver a message from Delacion.
  • The Comically Serious: He is so serious and quiet that his wait for delivering Delacion's message to the Galaxy Rescue Force became awkward due to neither him nor Sora being able to strike a conversation to pass the time with Ribut even leaving to get out of the situation.

    Ultraseven 21 
The representative of the Galactic Security Agency, who came to discuess an alliance against Absolute Tartarus.

  • The Worf Effect: He is able to overwhelm Ribut, only to be easily defeated by Poccola.
