The Leader of the team and central protagonist of Fruity Robo. Comes from a poor family with swordsmanship traditions, he harbors a strong dream to be a hero despite his incompetence.

• Born Unlucky: If his status as the Butt-Monkey isn’t enough, he is the only one in the team who is truly poor, useless and powerless despite his dream to become the number one swordsman, and he has to die almost every season.
• Butt-Monkey: He gets stabbed on a frequent basis for reasons no one would want to be stabbed for, such as Pineappolo hides behind him during his arguments with Flora Peach - who basically is on a murderous rage, and Appolleo wants to check if the sacred swords are the real deal. He’s also injured a lot, which Appolleo tries to reassure him about by saying that "those who are injured the most are the strongest".
• Determinator: As a stock trait for The Hero, he is almost never swayed by anything once he sets his mind, though this sometimes endangers his life.
  "If 10 years is not enough I will practice 20 years, if 20 years is not enough then let’s raise it to 30 years. If 30 years is still not enough, I will use my whole life just to practice."
• The Ditz: He’s often described as an airhead whose idiocy just gets worse when love is involved.
• Dual Wielding: His first-gen robot wields two swords at once.
• The Leader: Of the Fruity Agents.
• Took a Level in Badass: Significantly. At first he was generally useless without intelligence like Pineappolo or luck by his side like Appolleo, and his weapon was just a mere chipped sword. However after he crashed headfirst into nuclear reactor, he makes it out alive with his DNA altered due to radioactive contamination, giving him Super-Strength.

A witty, clever pineapple and the youngest of the three guys. This flirty playboy is known to be weak for money, and is currently over 10,000$ in debt to his girlfriend, Flora Peach.

• Anti-Hero: He’s very guileful, greedy, shamelessly and pragmatic, an avid casanova as well as liar who is constantly in debt to his girlfriend. Unlike Orangey and Appolleo, Pineappolo is full of flaws and very little heroic quality. That said, he still fights for justice, and occasionally proves himself to be quite a honorable guy.
• Ascended Extra: In Season 3, he replaces Orangey to become the main character.
• The Casanova: Often wanders around to flirt with beautiful girls, tricking them into lending him money.
• Dual Wielding: His first-gen and fourth-gen robot are dual-wielding.
• Guile Hero
• Money Fetish: Is very stingy and would put his life on the line just for money.
• Lady Killer In Love: Even though he often flirts with other girls, he genuinely loves Flora Peach. His feelings for Pino is not one bit fake, either, it’s just that the bond between him and Flora is much stronger, even more than they themselves expected.
• One Head Taller: Than his girlfriend, which he exploits with at least one playful At Arm's Length moment.
• The Smart Guy: Compared to his ditzy friends, he is notably savvier and more clever than them, and takes it upon himself to deal with the situation when some braincells are needed.

A self-proclaimed master poet, and is very wealthy. While shown to have an exceedingly low IQ and terrible aim, he is very lucky, eliminating his opponents without hitting them.

• Act of True Love: During her early stage of practicing archery, Blossomy accidentally shot him a lot. Yet he never for once pays attention to it, always smiles at her gently and encourages her to try her best.
• Because You Were Nice to Me: The reason he loves Blossomy unconditionally is because she always helps him, cares for him and admires him despite his general incompetence.
• Big Ol' Eyebrows: Has the thickest eyebrow in the crew.
• Born Lucky: Although he is incompetent in battles (at first), he is in return exceedingly lucky and more than often takes down opponents with a lucky shot. Sometimes it isn’t even a shot, just some outside factors decided to say "hi" and knocked his opponents down for him.
• Cloudcuckoolander: He often lives in his own world, and is pretty much a very ditzy, scatterbrained, gullible guy.
  • Cuckoosnarker: However, he’s not above delivering some snarks to Pineappolo.
  About Pineappolo: "He’s not just your everyday casanova."
• The Ditz: Even worse than Orangey. He doesn’t even know how to write and read.
  • Genius Ditz: On occasion, he can catch up with complicated stuffs which others can’t and has come up with some brilliant ideas. He’s also a genius in comprehending martial arts, as he is able to learn his father’s technique right after he finished chanting, and excels in multiple forms of art.
• Fiction 500: Comes from one of the richest families in their world. Unlike his other two friends, he never gets distracted by money, beauties or even food, since he’s too rich to afford them.
• Hidden Depths: In Episode 1, he told Orangey that he envied with him since he can freely follow his dream, while Applo himself was burdened with expectations of his father.
• Hypocritical Humor: He frequently teases Orangey about his idiocy. Oh, young lord, won’t you kindly take a look at yourself.
• Informed Flaw: Said to be overweight and chubby, but due to the character design, most of the time he looks just like everyone else.
• Long-Range Fighter: He specializes in maintaining range between him and his opponents, uses firearms and laser gun as weapons, and is a highly skilled marksman. That said, he’s no less capable at close range.
• Missing Mom: His mother, while referred to several times, never appears in person.
• More Dakka: Applo doesn’t use bladed weapons like his friends, instead utilizing bazooka, mobile ballistic missile and machine gun like most of the robots today. When Lady Luck doesn’t stay by his side, he just opts to fire as many missiles as possible until she comes back.
• Nice Guy: Sometimes too painfully kind for his own sake. Once, he even refused to dodge an attack just because if he had done so, an old peddler lady’s shop would have been destroyed.
• Non-Idle Rich: Though he is incredibly rich, he never shows a sign of arrogance, instead being very humble and trying to help the poor with his wealth.
• Sleepyhead: Can sleep anywhere, even on a guillotine.
• Sweet Tooth: Likes ice cream and candy.

Berry-Donna

Leader of the female Agents. A beauty comes from a powerful family, she is mostly composed and refined, but can also be hot-headed and passionate.

• Badass Family: Her family not only consists of prestigious government officials, they’re also full of well-trained martial artists.
• Cool Big Sis: Acts like one and is seen as one by her fellow female Agents, though they’re at the same age. This is some traditional Chinese culture stuffs.
• Defrosting Ice Queen: Towards Orangey only. When they first met, she acted completely cold and uncaring while he was smitten with her
• Fiery Redhead: Even though she’s normally calm and collected, she can be quite stubborn and not one to be bound by rules.
• Heroic Sacrifice: She went headfirst into Teripple‘s nuclear reactor to destroy it. One does not simply do that and make it out alive, and so she died in process.
• Informed Attractiveness: She’s said to be a very beautiful girl, but due to the character design, it’s...hard to see. At least she’s visibly cute.
• Not So Stoic: Presents herself to be introverted, collected, prim and proper, but turns out she can switch pretty much from a Little Miss Snarker to an adorably emotional, act-with-feelings young girl.
• The Ojou: She comes from a very prestigious and political-active family, and is referred to as "Lady Zhang" several times. Befitting such position, she shows herself to be proper and refined in action, such as when she stops the other girls from dwelling on a table full of delicious meals they are presented with:
  Berry-Donna "We are not like the guys, ladies, we should not let go of our primness."
• Punny Name: Her name is a pun on "Bella Donna", a name that means "beautiful lady".

Flora Peach

Pineappolo‘s girlfriend who is often beleaguered by his playboy tendency. She’s mostly elegant and kindhearted, while also pretty aggressive towards deals evolving her boyfriend.

• Belligerent Sexual Tension: She and Pineappolo argue and fight a lot. Though to be fair, she wouldn’t hit him that much if he isn’t such a greedy, guileful, stingy, shameless casanova.
• Big Eater: Similar to Pineappolo in this regard.
• Mood-Swinger: She is elegant and kind this moment, sharp and distrustful the next, then burning with anger, and finally ends the day dreamily innocent like an adolescent girl. To pick one personality for her...sure is hard.
• Tsundere: She’s generally pleasant and polite, but when things involve Pineappolo, expect her to go feral, beat the shit out of him, and tell him she did that just because she wants to do that (though she mostly has the justifiable reason).

• Fragile Speedster: Very fast and specializes in speed, but her actual strength is not very notable and she can be taken down quite fast.
• Friendly Sniper: More like Friendly Archer, as she wields a bow manually and has her second-gen robot used a crossbow.
• Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold
• The Ingenue: Kind, sweet-natured, polite, too innocent for her own sake, and always optimistic regardless of situation, she has all the qualities.
• Spoiled Sweet: Similar to Applo, she’s also from a wealthy family, though all we have seen from her are just niceness and sweetness.
• Super Gullible: Immediately believes Little Papaya‘s ridiculous story about how he sells himself to have money to give his mother a funeral, and gives him money. She is also shown to believe just anything Appolleo said, though this is subverted later as she reveals she knows all about his attempts to impress her through lies, but chose to listen to them because she loves him.
• Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: In Season 4, she’s terrified of caterpillars.
