• Break the Cutie: Her owner abandons her and she waits for 17 years straight for said owner to get back under the belief that her owner left because she wasn't good enough for her. The real reason why her owner left is because she carelessly downloaded a virus.

• Dark Secret: has one involving Ally's dad and something called "Project Eleanor"
• Hidden Depths: The entire second half of So Open is about finding these out. And in the lyric video for the same song, there is a file that says "Dangers Of Singularity" which has some... implications. Even lampshaded in the description for Friday Night Funkin': Reboot Me.

But is there more to this OS than just a cute lil face?

• Horrible Judge of Character: This is one interpretation of why Ele trusted VIRI in Into Oblivion.
• Innocent Blue Eyes: She has blue eyes, and is The Cutie. Downplayed in her human form, as her eyes are a mix of blue and yellow in that form.
• Lipstick Lesbian: A tweet by Jakeneutron confirms she is this.
• Quirky Girl, Quirky Tux: Not normally, but in Introducing Memberships she wears one.
• Robot Me:is an AI that looks like her owner.
• Shy Blue-Haired Girl: Inverted. Her human form has (very very dark) blue hair, and she's very energetic.
• Stepford Smiler: Played straight in Reboot Me; discussed and subverted in "Error Error"
• Theme Twin Naming: With Ally, her owner.
• Tragic Robot: Well, tragic sentient operating system, but it still applies.

• All There in the Manual: Nowhere in the actual songs themselves is VIRI called by name, just in the description.
• Badass in a Nice Suit: her human form.
• Cheerful A.I.: a villainous example.
• Computer Virus: a sentient one. A ransomware specifically.

VIRI: Don't get comfortable in your own security just because you aren't made of code. From my experience, humans are just as easy to crack as operating systems... with the right information... and the right words.

• Red Eyes, Take Warning: Their eye symbols that appear wherever they've infected. Their human form also has these.
• Villains Blend in Better: subverted. Reese almost immediately realizes that a shape shifted VIRI is not Ele.OS.
• Voluntary Shapeshifting: has this. It's unknown the extent of this ability, but she briefly shape shifted into Ele.
• White and Red and Eerie All Over: Is evil and has white and red on her color scheme.

• All There in the Manual: Nowhere in the actual songs themselves is Reese called by name. VIRI simply calls him "Trash Buddy" and "Trashcan.exe."
• Almighty Janitor: has shades of this. is literally based off of a janitor(according to Word of God) yet holds some files that lead to Ele.OS' Dark Secret.
• A Lizard Named "Liz": Reece the Recycling Bin.
• Only Mostly Dead: has been encrypted by VIRI but could theoretically be brought back.
• Sacrificial Lamb: Exists for a single scene before getting encrypted by VIRI.
• Walking Spoiler: It's kind of hard to describe his place in the story without mentioning That he gets encrypted by VIRI, who then looks through his files and finds Ally's father's Dark Secret.
