     The Storyteller / Jon Cozart / The Director (Theater) 
  • Ambiguously Evil: It is never clear if he became a villain because of the Cursed God or if he was already evil
  • Back Fromthe Dead: Died after releasing the Cursed God, but is brought back to life as the main villain of a Night at the Theater
  • Big Bad: As the Director, he is the sadistic maestro of the events during a Night at the Theater
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Unless he was already crazy, but it is suggested that the Cursed God has some kind of nasty influence on him
  • Foreshadowing: The Director's identity is unknown at first, but he spoke a lot about characters and stories, which makes sense as he used to be the Storyteller
  • Mad Artist: His reason for killing the guests invited to the theater is to have good stories to tell
  • Reducedto Dust: After freeing the Cursed God, he is killed like this
  • The Reveal: Is the main villain of a Night at the Theater, as the Director
  • Sanity Slippage: Slowly becomes more unstable during the Lost Village, turn into a full-fledge one during a Night at the Theater
  • Slowly Slipping Into Evil: Is advised by a killer rabbit to free the Cursed God, and is rewarded with powers allowing him to become the next Big Bad

     The Songbird / Madilyn Bailey 
  • Emotionless Girl: Subverted. She is using this facade to cope with the deaths and not appear weak
  • Foil: To Bunny. They are both coping in different way to death, but their unability to cope with it lead to their deaths
    • She is also one to the Storyteller. She seems to be another cold-blooded psycho like him, but then she is revealed to be much nicer
  • Fragile Flower: She starts as one...

  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She kills a serial killer in spite of her dainty appearance
  • She Who Fight Monsters: Seeing The Violonist and the Widow die is enough for Madilyn and she brutally murders Arlequin

  • Asshole Victims: They were ready to let other people die just to save their own skin
  • Dirty Coward: When they are about to die, each brother try to get his killed instead
  • Kill it With Ice / Kill it With Water: They are thrown into freezing waters
  • Workaholic: Almost all their lines are about react videos

  • Back Fromthe Dead: Not really, is one of the ghost guests in After-Afterlife
  • Et Tu, Brute?: In After-Afterlife, he votes for his best friend, JC Caylen, to be in the death challenge because he got him killed in Coachella

  • Meaningful Name: Her name is the Waterfalls, a reference to one of TLC's songs. It makes sense when the song is about not having too high expectations, and her disappointment toward Dorothy set her on a path to villainy
    • Plus, it may be allude to the rivalry between her and Dorothy (The Light Rain), and how she will end up killing her
  • The Resenter: Is sick of not being defended against Dorothy's attacks
  • Then Let Me Be Evil: Being accused of Megan's death and almost getting killed by her idol is too much for Rizu, who decides to think about her own survival first

     The South Wind / JC Caylen / The Spirit (Afterlife) 
  • Back from the Dead: Is one of the ghost guests in After-Afterlife, then died again
  • Dead All Along: Kinda. The Cursed God somehow made him believe that he never died so he would get his friends killed at Coachella
  • Doomed by Canon: Subverted. The readers are led to believe that Spring Coachella Massacre is another prequel for season 3 this time, but it is revealed to be a sequel
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Betrayed by Connor, his best friend
  • Foreshadowing: Connor mentionned that JC went missing for some time, because he was killed at Everlock. Also, he reacts strangely when he saw hippies and being in a death challenge, as a nod to his character in season 3.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Asked the Fiend to kill him, so he would join help his deceased friends in the Afterlife
