Unbeknownst to him, one of his underlings made it so the wheel would judge any wish made on it. The curse is ultimately lifted upon the wheel's destruction.

- Our Fairies Are Different
- Troll: Are regarded as very annoying in-universe and out-universe due to their ability to full heal when you're just about to kill them.
Goblinkind
Sneevils
Small, green, goblin-like, box-obsessed creatures. Known for stealing boxes and have a society based on it. They're revealed to be created by Kid Nythera who turned human children into the goblin creatures using magic, so they could build her a box fort.- Friendly Enemy: They are allies to the Hero almost as often as they are enemies. It's quite easy to gain their allegiance, so long as you have boxes at your disposal.

- The Undead: Obviously.
Vampire
- Dark Is Evil: They all do darkness based damage.
- Looks Like Orlok: In Book 1, Vampiric Ghouls and Guardian Ghouls have designs very much based on Orlok from Nosferatu and have bald heads with pointed ears. Averted for the vampires of Book 3 who have the more traditional, stylish, aristocratic looks of vampires.
- No Body Left Behind: Only applies to Guardian Ghouls who crumble to ashes when defeated.
- Our Vampires Are Different:
- Vampiric ghouls slash with Wolverine Claws and don't leave ashes behind when they die.
- Villager/elite vampires can suck up blood of victims through the air without making direct contact.
- Weakened by the Light: They are vulnerable to light element attacks.

- Breath Weapon: Gelunguis' breath is so cold it can create shards of ice on contact.
- Blue Means Cold: Is a dark shade of blue and can manipulate the temperature around it.
- Draconic Abomination: Not quite dead enough to be a dracolich, as Gelunguis isn't classified as undead, but they do closely resemble a desiccated dragon corpse with ice spikes bursting out of its back.
- Icy Blue Eyes: Has little pinpricks of these in its eye sockets.
- Primal Stance: Gelunguis has a distinctly predatory stance, like an arctic hunter closing in on its quarry.

Dragon Challenges 2
Willowshire Burns
Gorgok, the Relentless

The mysterious symbol of the Guardians, simulated at it’s full capacity by the Inn.—Quest Description
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: The Hero only gets to fight its upper half, the rest of it is hidden beneath the ground.
- Berserk Button: Normally the Guardian Dragon requires twenty-one consecutive hits of a single element to be able to use its most powerful attack, but just one hit from a Bacon-aligned weapon is enough to spark its ire.
- Breath Weapon: The Guardian Dragon’s breath resembles normal fire, but it can change to be the element the Hero is currently most vulnerable to.
- Our Dragons Are Different: The Guardian Dragon has always been a unique case, even among the other dragons in Dragonfable. Like the Hero’s own dragon, it is seemingly able to resonate with all eight elements, Earth just happens to be its default one.
Akriloth, the Protector
Akriloth the Protector
The legendary protector of the volcanic island of Maar, Akriloth! With him are his attendants, Dragon Lords of a time past...
An incarnation of Akriloth from when he was still the guardian of Pelekoa, alongside two of his most loyal attendants.—Quest Description
- Born-Again Immortality: The nature of Great Dragons is to be reborn again and again. This is not a simulacrum of the Akriloth the Hero is familiar with, but one of the Great Dragon of Fire that once protected Pelekoa.
- Burning with Anger: Akriloth does not take the defeat of his attendants very well, and even seems remorseful. It’s to the point where he calls the Hero cruel.
- Combat Resuscitation: Just when you think the Fang and Scales are beat, Akriloth can whip out a revive for the both of them.
”My protectors... My companions... We must give this our all! RISE ONCE MORE!”
- Fireball Eyeballs: Though they’re more tame than his more recent incarnation’s, Akriloth’s eyes resemble orange flames.

Two Dragon Lords from Pelekoa’s past.—Quest Description
- Anti-Debuff: By calling on Hyonix, the Scales can cleanse the debuffs from himself and his allies.
- Badass Cape: The Fang has one of these.
- Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: Defied, the Scales is rocking a set of croptop armor.
- Bodyguarding a Badass: They’re protecting a previous incarnation of Akriloth. Akriloth, who, even without the power boost of a magical artifact, is the strongest living fire dragon on Lore.
- Damage Over Time: The Fang can use Akriloth's flames to burn the Hero for five turns.
- Damage Reduction: Cryozen's ice magic can be used by the Fang to reduce the Hero’s damage output.
- Dual Boss: They count as this if you choose to fight them without Akriloth around.
- Elemental Powers: One would think that the attendants of the Great Dragon of Fire would solely be aligned to fire, but the Fang and the Scales are capable of calling on the power of all eight Great Dragons, split between them.
- Healing Hands: The Scales can use Levidon's wind magic to heal himself and the Fang.
- Last Ditch Move: When pushed to his limit, the Scales will sacrifice himself in a devastating four-hit attack totalling 5000% damage. If this doesn’t manage to down the Hero, he will be down for the count for the rest of the battle.
”...So this is how it is. For Akriloth, for everyone, I give my all!”
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: The Scale’s shield is as big as he is, and not only that, it appears to be layered with defensive magics as well.
- Stone Wall: The Scales is pretty hard to take down in general. Aligning himself with Dekanor makes him harder to hit, while calling on Genokratos' power makes him resistant to damage altogether.
- Temporary Blindness: The Fang can use Prismagon's light to blind the Hero.
Otherworldly Creatures
Weird Duo
Leorilla, the Proud
The legendary and proud Leorilla. Its shining mane of fur and rippling muscles are the envy of itself when it looks at its reflection.
One of Lore's countless mix-and-match critters. This one is a mix between a lion, a gorilla, and a whole lot of ego.—Quest Description
- Berserk Button: The Leorilla alternates between looking for anything that makes the Hero stronger and looking for anything that affects it. If it does find something, that causes it to enrage, making it dish out massive damage.
- Healing Factor: If the Leorilla discovers any impurities in its fur, it will heal itself.
- Mix-and-Match Critters: The Leorilla appears to be your standard gorillaphant, with leonine parts in place of an elephant's.
- Red Baron: The Proud. You better not infringe on that pride, or else...
- The Fighting Narcissist: According to its description when you fight the Leorilla alone, it checks itself out in its reflection.
- The Perfectionist: The Leorilla can't stand having impurities in its "perfect fur."

- Code of Honor: Sir Bearginion forces you to play fair, as in fighting him alone, or he will obliterate you.
- Overly Long Name: Sir Bearginion the Third, Most Honorable Duelist of the Western Deepwoods, AKA One Punch Bear... it doesn't even fit in the boundaries of his challenge button!
- Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: Sir Bearginion's combat style.
- You Are Already Dead: Sir Bearginion can invoke this on the Hero if their health is low enough.
Big and Small
Super Sentog Justice Go!!!
Togs of justice? What is this?
A group of five togs with attitude! After performing a fusion dance, they create the ultimate warrior of justice.—Quest Description
- All Your Powers Combined: After fighting the Super Sentogs individually, they will all combine into the Super Sentog Justice, Go!!!
- Affectionate Parody: Of the Super Sentai series
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: The Super Sentog (Justice, Go!!) will attempt this on the Hero by conjuring an energy blade. Emphasis on the Extreme Prejudice part if you just so happen to be a Doomknight.
Groundhog Dave
I mean, of course it's an Avatar of Time.
An anthropomorphic groundhog with powerful time-based abilities.—Quest Description
- Aerith and Bob: Lore is a world full of bizarre names, and here's this groundhog named Dave.
- Mirror Boss: Bizarrely, Groundhog Dave appears to be an Avatar of Time, and has the skill animations to prove it. The only other character known to be an Avatar of Time is the Hero themself, albeit one from an alternative timeline.
- Punny Name: Groundhog Dave's name and powers is a play on Groundhog's Day, wherein the groundhog actually controls time.
- Time Master: Dave can manipulate time as he sees fit.
- Time Stands Still: He can briefly stun the Hero with the Timestopped effect.
The Primordials
Simulacrum of Uthuluc
Its simulacrum watches.
The rampaging squid monster that the Hero encountered in the Plane of Elemental Spirits. In spite of its previous imprisonment by Aegis, it still has the lucidity to mess with the Inn through the simulacrum they've made in its image.—Quest Description
- Achilles' Heel: Critical hits crack its chitin armor. Crack it 4 times and you sunder it, giving it -100 All, which means he takes double damage from all incoming attacks for 4 turns.
- Astral Projection: The Uthuluc the Hero fights in the inn is specifically called a simulacrum, but the quest descriptions related to it imply that it's the real Uthuluc seeing through this facsimile's eyes.
- Aborted Arc: Uthuluc was originally going to appear in the Void as an obstacle in the Void Ship Saga
- Berserk Button: Uthuluc doesn't seem too fond of the Icebound Revenant, as the presence of one causes it to permanently gains +2000% total damage, +400 Bonus, and +400 Crit. It makes sense, as being frozen by Aegis was how it was dispatched.
- Black Speech: Uthuluc's attack descriptions are all written this way. However, if the Hero happens to be wearing the Kathool Adept armor, Uthuluc's texts become legible.
- Breath Weapon: Uthuluc can fire a beam of eldritch energy from its mouth.
- Captain Ersatz: Like Kathool before it, Uthuluc is one of Cthulhu.
- Cessation of Existence: Lorians are usually privy to one of two afterlives, but being eaten by Uthuluc ensures that you will get neither, as there will be nothing left to move on.
- Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: In this case, it's "Did you just punch out Uthuluc?!" if you manage to defeat it.
- Eldritch Abomination: As a primordial, this is played terrifyingly straight by Uthuluc.
- Units Not to Scale: Like with most things simulated by the Inn, Uthluc's simulacrum is scaled down to make the fight just a smidge more possible for the Hero. Uthuluc's true scale easily dwarfs fellow ancient squid-god Kathool, who stands above the Hero's titan dragon.
- Extra Eyes: Uthuluc has three more up there.
- Harmless Freezing: The Hero first encounters Uthuluc in the Plane of Elemental Spirits wreaking havoc. It is ultimately frozen solid by Aegis.
- Hungry Menace: Unlike Kathool, Uthuluc's sole desire is to consume, and being eaten by it is a sure-fire way of getting erased from existence entirely.
- Kicked Out of Heaven: The real Uthuluc is no longer housed within the Plane of Elemental Spirits. At some point, it made its way into the Void instead.
- Reality Warper: Uthuluc's Simulacrum will crash the A.A.R.G.H. System if encountered, though that doesn't stop it from fighting the Hero anyway.
- Sealed Evil in a Can: The real Uthuluc was previously a block of ice in the Plane of Elemental Spirits.
- Spirit World: The Plane of Elemental Spirits is Uthuluc's realm, the souls there are just squatters.
- Vacuum Mouth: Uthuluc can invoke this to drain the Hero's energy.
Scuridaehotep and the Witness
The Witness is here to observe its Master.
Scuridaehotep is the true nature of the squirrel from Olaf's pool party, a primordial in the guise of a snappy little rodent. It appears to be the leader of a very unnerving group of woodland creatures in the form of the Witness.—Quest Description
- Actual Pacifist: The Witness won't lift a hoof against the Hero. They will, however, lend Scuridaehotep their aid via certain powerups.
- Captain Ersatz: Scuridaehotep seems to be Dragonfable's equivalent to the crawling chaos.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: The various defensive buffs the Witness will give Scuridaehotep correspond to the color of its eyes. Blue for magic, green for piercing, and red for melee.
- Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: Defeating them counts as this, though it's implied they simply decide to stop fighting the Hero.
- Extra Eyes: The Witness has a third eye on its forehead.
- Giant Space Flea from Nowhere: While Scuridaehotep has been encountered outside of the inn, the Witness ironically hasn't been witnessed at all in any quests.
- Little "No": Scuridaehotep's attack animation has it tell the Hero "No" and striking them with the text.
- Reality Warper: Scuridaehotep can be encountered in the A.A.R.G.H. System. The thing is, it was never meant to be there in the first place. The alternate versions of the Hero running the simulation have no idea how it got there, meaning the squirrel the Hero fought was likely the real deal.
- Resurrective Immortality: The Witness will revive Scuridaehotep if the Hero manages to defeat it. It'll only stop after the squirrel is beaten three times.
Unfortunate Souls
Failed Doom
Sepulchure, the Doomed
Sepulchure. An old foe.
A simulacrum of the Hero's nemesis, the Doomknight Sepulchure.—Quest Description

- Gathering Steam: His primary mechanic. Every turn, he gains 1% more damage and he gains more All resist as his health gets lower.
- Mana Burn: Can inflict Leech, which drains your MP over 10 turns.
- Obvious Rule Patch: Try to use Stan the Scan Orb to reduce his -All, and he'll just shrug it off with a buff called Unscannable.
- Red Baron: The Doomed, befitting of the most iconic Doomknight.
- Time-Limit Boss: If you somehow manage to survive for 150 turns, Sepulchure will boost himself as if you had brought the Doomknight armor to the fight.
''"I have had enough of your insolence."
Caitiff, the Unsatiated
Caitiff, the scourge of Falconreach.
A simulation of Caitiff, the monstrosity created from Serenity's soul.—Quest Description
- Boss Banter: Caitiff speaks as they barrage you with the Elemental Orbs. It indicates what the barrage inflicts on you and what element the follow-up attack will have.
- Elemental Powers: Their main attack- a barrage of all 8 Elemental Orbs, covering so much that All resist is the only realistic way to reduce its damage.
- Kill It with Fire: If they align themselves to Fire, Caitiff performs an unique attack where they burn you with a shade of Pro Pain, inflicting a Damage Over Time effect.
''"Let's try some fire."
- Red Baron: The Unsatiated, befitting of Caitiff's search of knowledge on how to destroy the Hero.
- Status-Buff Dispel: If they align themselves to Water, Caitiff instead summons Kathool's shade to attack you, dispelling all buffs you have applied to yourself.
