Cupid: My soul mate is love itself!

  • The Power of Love: His powers stem from love, and he wishes to spread it around. His love power is so strong that it heals everyone for 25-30% and buffs critical damage for 20-25%.
  • Winged Humanoid: Like Jeanne d'Arc, he has wings, though he has one pair more than her.

  • Mass Super-Empowering Event: His story shows that he and Ebisu accidentally did this to hamsters that stole his mochi, turning them into super hamsters.
  • Noodle Incident: Dragalia Life #347 has him and Luca wash up on a deserted island. How that happened is anyone's guess.
  • Spam Attack: Not just his own attacks which can rack up Combos without issue, but his Whirlwind Strength ability has it's user gain a 20-25% increase to their Strength so long as their combo count is at 15 or higher and if their light element. Fittingly the best user of this ability is Mitsuhide who is Soulpacted to him

    Jeanne d'Arc

Defender of Dragonyule
Sacred Standard Bearer

Voiced by: Megumi Han (Japanese), Alexa Kahn (formerly credited as Lexi Klein) (English)
Rarity: 5 [all]
Element: Light [Regular, Reborn], Water [Dragonyule]
Debut: Launch [Regular], Dragonyule Defenders [Dragonyule], Gala Dragalia (Reborn)

Regular
  • Big Eater: Part 1 of Mini Hildy's Dragon Story shows she ate 278 crepes.
  • Catchphrase: “For a brighter tomorrow!”
  • Fashionable Asymmetry: Wears a single spaulder/pauldron on her left shoulder, wears a greeve with a poleyn on her right leg only, and wears a single ripped stocking on her left leg.
  • Jeanne d'Archétype: Obviously, since she's based on the historical saint, but this game turns her into a dragon instead. In her story, the lord of Grissblum tries to sell that his Alberian niece is bound to Jeanne.
  • Mighty Glacier: Her special isn't the quickest to cast, but she makes up for it with heavy strength and defense, as well as boosting the defense of the party.
  • Minidress of Power: She wears a short skirt.
  • Mythology Gag: Aside from the fact that her design came from the defunct Knights of Glory Cygames title, and that Megumi Han voices all incarnations of Jeanne d'Arc in Cygames franchises, the idea of the Jeanne d'Arc saint sporting angelic wings was also used in the anime adaptations of Rage of Bahamut, particularly Virgin Soul.
  • Olympus Mons: She's a 5* dragon and has a rather rare chance to be pulled from draws, but is absurdly powerful.
  • Stone Wall: She confers a 40-60% bonus to HP when equipped, and her dragon skill boosts the team's defense, making her the ideal dragon for Light healers (and in Gala Zena's case, also a hefty 40-60% Strength boost).
  • Transplant: She's one of many dragons transferred from Knights of Glory.
  • Winged Humanoid: She's essentially just a human saint with wings, who would then be classified in-game as a dragon.

Dragonyule

"I shall be the star that illuminates your fate!"
  • An Ice Person: Her Skill "Frost Beam" can inflict Freeze.
  • Critical Hit Class: As Defender of Dragonyule Jeanne she increases strength by 30-45% and the chance of Critical hits happening of any Water adventurers she's equipped to by 15-20%. Making her a deadly force when used with adventurers like Pietro, Renee and Hunter Sarisse.

Reborn

"I shall cut through doubt for the sake of a better future!"
  • 11th-Hour Superpower: She appears near the end of Chapter 18 Part 1 to grant Luca enough power to utterly thrash Kai Yan in a single blow.
  • Enemy Within: She has this with her own Void counterpart that only she can see and hear who will never let her forget all the atrocities she committed while under the Black Mana, as well as try to tell her that no matter how much she tries to be a beacon of light for humanity, it's nothing more than a futile endeavor.
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: In this form, her hair is now shoulder-length.
  • Hope Bringer: Her mere presence is enough to turn a border fortress that had been defending a position for days on end to continue resisting.

    Liger
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dl_liger.png
King of the Big Top
Rarity: 5

  • Catlike Dragons: While he may be a dragon, not only is he themed after big cats, but he also growls and purrs like a cat.

  • Transplant: She's one of many dragons transferred from Knights of Glory.

    Moon Drake
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dl_moondrake.png

A dragon of good fortune who distributes gifts for the New Year. He also serves as a Raid Boss in the New Years Tidings event.

  • Badass Pacifist: As a dragon and a raid boss, he can put up a fight. However, he hates fights in general and takes great issue when people get into squabbles.
  • Boss Banter: He's the first raid boss to offer this while most others just roar and growl.
  • Critical Hit Class: His passive ability increases the critical damage of any light adventurers he’s equipped to by 50-70%.
  • Dance Battler: His biggest attack is the Dance of the Sunrise which can catch an unaware party with few spots to avoid it at first, and then only one tiny sliver. It's not him that's dancing, but you.
  • Large Ham: As a raid boss, he's pretty dramatic and grandiose.
  • Incoming Ham: He has this announcement every time you start a raid against him.
    "LET THE GAMES BEGIN!"
  • Our Dragons Are Different: He looks like one of the giant puppets used in Chinese parades, and even has glowing eyes inside his mouth.
  • Your Size May Vary: Shishimai is much bigger as a boss than he usually is. This is because Amaterasu made him bigger for the event.

"Onward, strike with my lightning."
Voiced by: Satoshi Yamaguchi (Japanese), Luc Roderique (English)
Rarity: 5
Debut: Chapter 15 [NPC], Gala Dragalia [Gala]

Valyx's pactwyrm.

  • Gathering Steam: An interesting attempt for a dragon, by default Thor gives an impressive 30-50% strength buff, however having a single level of energy gives a second strength buff of 25%, gaining an extra 5% for each extra energy added until the user is energized, then they’ll gain an impressive 45% strength buff effectively making him a 75-95% strength dragon. And as an added bonus he automatically gives a unit of energy every five seconds and being of the Light element, which has an impressive amount of energy based adventurers.
  • Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: His auto attack combo starts with two wide strikes but ends with an infinite combo out of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Arbiter of Purity
Rarity: 4

  • Character Narrator: Narrates her own dragon story and talks about her species, including some tales of her father.
  • Clear My Name: Her story tells of an Alberian princess who had been framed as the mastermind behind her husband's plan to usurp the Grastaean throne. Her carriage to the execution was attacked by wolves and she escaped where she met Unicorn's father, who carried her into town. Just the two of them together showed that she was not the evil person she was painted to be and the real criminals brought to light.
  • Kick Chick: Not in the martial arts way, but more in the “bucking horse kicking” way.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Not Unicorn herself, but the Princess of her story who married an evil noble who framed her for treason.
