    Mr. Mumbles

Voiced by: Paget Brewster

Dan's pet cat, who he received in the episode Dan Vs. The Animal Shelter. She seems to understand Dan quite well.

  • Generic Cuteness: Pretty much just looks like any other adorable cat.
  • Morality Pet: Literally, for Dan. She is the only being in Dan's life that he shows kindness to (even his best friend Chris gets vitriol and spite from Dan).
  • Your Tomcat Is Pregnant: Dan names her Mr. Mumbles before he learns she's a girl.

    Crunchy

Voiced by: Tom Kenny

A hippie that shows up in various episodes to annoy Dan.

    Hortence
Voiced by: Grey DeLisle

A girl who works at Burgerphile, she appears to know Dan and is one of the few people he is consistently nice and polite too. She went on strike after seeing Dan's protest (and briefly was his girlfriend) and later on becomes regional manager. She returns in another episode and seems to be the closest thing to a love interest for Dan.

  • Burger Fool: At least until she became promoted high enough for corporate.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Hortence makes a brief appearance in "Dan Vs. The Animal Shelter." before being a major character in "Dan Vs. Burgerphile.".
  • Genius Ditz: Is a good customer representative and later a competent manager.
  • Hair Flip: After taking off her hat in Dan Vs. The Wedding.
  • Pet the Dog- Dan has many good moments with her in her first episode.
  • May–December Romance: Marries the CEO and founder of Burgerphile in her second episode, much to Dan's chagrin and sadness.

    Wally Fitzpatrick
The owner of Wacky Wally's Explode-atorium, where Dan usually gets the equipment for his schemes. He appears to be married with a child and mentions also having a nephew. Also revealed to be the Wolf-Man.
  • Fan Disservice: In the scene where his Wolfman alter-ego turns back to normal.

    Elise's Parents
Don voiced by: Michael Gross
Elise, Sr. voiced by: Meredith Baxter

Elise's parents, Don and Elise, are pretty well-off and have a great disdain for Chris and to a lesser extent, Dan. Elise Sr. is just as badass as her daughter, but on the opposite side of the law.

  • Action Mom: Elise, Sr. in "Dan Vs. The Family Cruise". We see her fight her daughter to a stalemate, one of the best agents known, when trying to steal for the Mafia.
  • Jerkass: Even ignoring them being Obnoxious In-Laws to Chris Don's an abrasive, rude, jerk and Elise Sr. is manipulative and snobbish.
  • Obnoxious In-Laws: They hate Chris and wish Elise, Jr. married Colby instead. Don hates Chris the most.
  • Powered Armor: Elise, Sr. wears one in "Dan Vs. The Family Cruise".
  • The Mafia: Elise, Sr. works for them the way her daughter works for the government. She's #5 on the FBI's most wanted listed under the name, The Lady, after it was implied she became #5 by killing #6 while on vacation with her husband.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Chris saving them from the Hockey Masked Maniac, Elise Sr. was a bit thankful, but it only intensified Don's hatred of Chris (and for showing up a cowardly Colby).
