    Affogato Cookie

Affogato Cookie

"The best medicine... tastes sweet in your mouth."

”Politics is like a river. And I’m a fish.”
Class: Bomber
Position: Middle
Skill: Sweet Scheme
Released in: Version 2.7 (Heroes of Dark Cacao, first part)

A Cookie made from two desserts who settled in the Dark Cacao Kingdom after struggling to find a place to call his own. He befriends the locals using his mysterious spellmaking abilities, but has his own ambitions to be the sole ruler of the land.

Affogato Cookie is a Bomber Cookie placed in the middle, and his skill is called Sweet Scheme. Targeting enemy Cookies first, Affogato Cookie places a curse on the enemy with the highest Attack. The curse prevents the enemy from being buffed and amplifies the effects of any debuffs they receive. Not done there, the cursed enemy and their nearby allies also become Poisoned, receiving periodic Poison Damage, and if the Poison is dispelled, the cursed target’s nearby allies suffer great damage.

  • Animal Motif: He’s often compared to a slithery limbless animal - snake in particular, though there certainly are instances he’s called a worm insultingly.
  • Battle Cry: "Submit to me!"
  • Dirty Coward: Turns tail and flees the Dark Cacao Kingdom after he’s defeated to avoid being imprisoned (and likely executed) for his treasonous acts, leaving his followers to face the kingdom’s wrath alone.
  • Dude Looks Like a Lady: His eyelashes and eyeshadow, combined with the big bun-like brooch on his head and his flowy Korean attire make him look like an elegant lady at first glance.
  • Establishing Character Moment: In the first cutscene shown when entering World 13, Affogato Cookie tells the young Snow Cookie to "explain yourself", showcasing himself as someone of higher status. After they explain what happened to their village, he appears to express concerns...then immediately and cruelly shuts them down, claiming that they’re just exaggerating the situation and telling them that they won’t be able to seek aid from the king, then he retreats back into the walls, leaving the poor cookie behind without much hesitation. This, combined with the scene where he sweet talks Dark Cacao Cookie, presents him as both an Evil Chancellor with no sympathy for his fellow Cookies and a Evil All Along.
  • Evil All Along: Don't let his pleasant demeanor fool you—Affogato is a conniving, power-hungry snake through and through, especially after he befriended and joined Dark Enchantress Cookie along with the Cookies of Darkness out of spite for his old kingdom, taking Dark Choco's position in the process after it was left open due to his Heel–Face Turn.
  • Evil Chancellor: He appears to take the role of a royal retainer and directly answers to the emperor's wishes - or is supposed to. In actuality, he's planning to overthrow Dark Cacao Cookie to become the unquestioned king, allies with the Cookies of Darkness to further his goals, and is even able to get ahold of the throne for a while.
  • Excessive Evil Eyeshadow: One of the few Cookies to wear makeup, one of the even fewer where it's noticeable from a glance, and one of the villains.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: Has slit pupils identical to those of Espresso Cookie (as well as the rest of the Coffee Tribe).
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Apparently his hatred for Caramel Arrow Cookie has began since when she was granted the title of the First Watcher, as he's all but outright confirmed to be the "jealous gaze" in the loading screen depicting the scene. He also gets very annoyed when somebody mentions her after her banishment due to how she always receives everyone's attention—Dark Cacao Cookie's included—instead of him despite his efforts to paint her as a criminal.
  • Guyliner: He’s a male Cookie, and one of the only ones with visible makeup.
  • Hate Sink: While not to the extent of Pomegranate Cookie, Affogato definitely qualifies as this as well, being a self-serving Manipulative Bastard who cares little for the suffering of his fellow Cookies, outright abandons his own followers when his plans go awry, and has almost no sympathetic qualities to boot.
  • Hidden Depths: He's apparently a fan of rock music. While playing Parfait Cookie's rhythm game in Soda Island Rock Festa, a casually-dressed Affogato Cookie can be spotted in the crowd.
  • It's All About Me: He claims that he's only looking out for himself which bites him in Last Cookie Standing. Red Velvet Cookie and Licorice Cookie voted for Cream Unicorn Cookie solely because Affogato tossed then under the rug.
  • Manipulative Bastard: He successfully convinces Dark Cacao Cookie to banish Caramel Arrow Cookie after she gets in the way of his treachery by claiming that she’s evading her responsibilities to instead spend leisure time in the villages and had been handing out rations that were "likely stolen from the citadel's pantries" when in reality, she’s aiding the abandoned citizens of the kingdom using her own rations. When she attempts to defend herself, he even twists her words into disrespect towards the king’s court. Though it turns out he wasn't nearly as successful in this as he thought.
  • Oh, Crap!: For all his smugness, there are multiple times where that facade breaks and he realizes he's doomed.
    • When he recognizes Dark Choco Cookie as the prince who was banished years ago, he panics and starts stuttering like crazy.
Affogato Cookie: "P-P-P-Prince Dark Choco Cookie!"
    • In "The Rice Cake Affair" Story Bond, he is horrified when Moon Rabbit Cookie chases after him because he stepped on one of her rice cakes, resulting in her chasing him in giant rabbity form.
    • In the Cookie Holidays event, he suddenly gets worried and books it from the room when Poison Mushroom Cookie offers him some of their shroomies.
  • Poison Is Evil: It’s repeatedly mentioned that his incenses are not as innocent as they seem and are clearly impairing and influencing Dark Cacao Cookie. He also uses poison in his attacks and special skill.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After he's defeated, Affogato looks at the state of his plans and decides to cut his losses and flee the kingdom entirely before returning as part of the Cookies of Darkness.
  • Sinister Sweet Tooth: He’s constantly gorging himself on chocolate and sugar offscreen, an early sign of his uncharacteristic decadence compared to most other Cacaoans. His first act as king is even ordering his goons to get all the sweet food out of the pantry and holding a feast for himself and his innermost circle.
  • Smug Snake: While his manipulation of the court is quite impressive, he really gets ahead of himself when working with the Darkness and especially Pomegranate Cookie, a Manipulative Bitch much worse than he is who will gladly slam someone’s Berserk Button and guilt trip them to serve her goal. He ends up getting played like a fiddle.
  • Snakes Are Sinister: Caramel Arrow Cookie calls him a "deceitful snake", and if his slit irises don't remind you of one, his treasonous ambition and cruelty will.
  • Villain Has a Point: While it stems from his own decadence, him advising Dark Cacao Cookie to take his mind off obsessively reinforcing the citadel’s wall does have a point: the king is practically abandoning his subjects to monsters’ mercy and forcing his soldiers to work endlessly in his pursuit of a "perfect defense". The Wall may be able to stop the Darkness on their track, but there’s just no point if the kingdom internally falls apart on its own.
  • Villains Love Entertainment: Attended the Summer Soda Rock Festa and can be spotted in the background of the "Sweet Serenade" rhythm minigame.
  • Vocal Dissonance: Despite his feminine looks, he has a deep, distinctly male voice.
  • Witch Doctor: His proficiency in "medicine" and curses may be based on a baksu mudang (박수무당), or a male shaman of the Korean traditional religion.

    Almond Cookie

"Let's start from the beginning."

”Another incident? And I was just about to eat lunch…”
Class: Support
Position: Rear
Skill: Almond Handcuffs
Released in: Version 1.2 (Beacons of Unity, second half)

A respected detective who is both the father of Walnut Cookie and a very good friend of Cream Puff Cookie, Almond Cookie patrols any place he could be to stop crime in any way he can. He helped Cream Puff Cookie and Latte Cookie in lighting the beacons in the Flame Of Unity story in Cookie Run: Kingdom and aided his daughter Walnut Cookie in solving the Butter Painting Affair in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak. Armed with a pair of magical handcuffs, no criminal can escape from his sights! There is never a dull moment for this officer, which is a good thing because he's always on duty and a bad thing because he can never seem to have a peaceful coffee break for very long!

Almond Cookie is a Support Cookie placed in the rear, and his skill is called Almond Handcuffs. Targeting enemy Cookies first, Almond Cookie will throw his handcuffs at the enemy with the lowest max HP. The apprehended enemy will be inflicted with the Damage Link debuff, which takes a portion of the damage they receive and disperses it among up to five linked enemies. Almond Cookie’s years of experience means that this skill cannot be interrupted, though summoned creatures are able to avoid its effects.

  • Action Dad: Is a member of a magical detective force and the father of Walnut Cookie.
  • Ascended Meme: In his one year anniversary video, Almond's clean-up crew involves Tiger Lily and GingerBrave with a screen wipe of a wedge of cheese going by. This is a reference to one of the first Cheese Strategy Arena teams involving those two, Sea Fairy and Kumiho.
Almond: Well ain't this a competent team.
  • Battle Cry: "You have the right to remain silent!"
  • Breakout Character: Like Licorice, he eventually crossed over to OvenBreak, during the "Butter Painting Affair" storyline.
  • Coat Cape: Always wears his iconic gigantic trenchcoat on his shoulders. He also does this in his Super Epic Costume "Commissioner of Parfaedia".
  • The Commissioner Gordon: In OvenBreak, he gets a Super Epic costume called "Commissioner of Parfaedia".
  • Connected All Along: Walnut Cookie is his daughter, given how their relationship chart has their bond as "Family" and the official twitter account refers to them as father and daughter (which was on Father's Day).
  • Cute Kitten: His OvenBreak pet is a black kitty called Constable Whiskers and their ability is to protect other cute kittens. He's so adorable that everyone at Almond's place of work is afraid of the adorable kitty getting in plenty of danger.
  • Difficult, but Awesome: His Almond Handcuffs' Damage Link debuff is quite potent, but it only lasts for 3 seconds, meaning proper timing of using the skill is absolutely required to make the most out of it. Use it well, and your cookies' overall damage output rises by a lot.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Before the game mode for Guild Battle was officially released, one of the silhouettes in the cutscene at the end of Map 8 was shown to be Almond Cookie.
  • Foil: To Roguefort Cookie, fitting their thief and detective dynamic. They're a classy, affable thief and he's a hardboiled, terse-talking detective. Moreover, they both have cats as pets, but Lord Crumbles III is a thieving, grumpy-looking cat who uses bombs to aid Roguefort on their heists whereas Constable Whiskers is a more traditional-looking Cute Kitten who protects stray cats from harm. Roguefort's family life is nowhere to be seen — with an implication that the fall of the Bleu Mansion being part of it — whereas we see Almond together with his daughter, Walnut.
  • Fun with Acronyms: His OvenBreak title if you max him out is called M.E.H, short for Magical Emergency Handling.
  • Hardboiled Detective: Downplayed compared to other examples, but he has the aesthetic.
  • Intergenerational Friendship: Almond Cookie is on excellent terms with Cream Puff Cookie, given the close-knit friendship they formed together alongside Latte Cookie in Flame Of Unity and the suitably friendly relationship they have for each other as a result:
‘’’Almond Cookie (About Cream Puff Cookie) (Friendly)''': It’s good to see that you’re enjoying life to the fullest.
‘’’Cream Puff Cookie (About Almond Cookie) (Friendly)''': He’s always running around to help protect the city!
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: His OvenBreak pet is a black cat named Constable Whiskers who effectively became the Team Pet of the Magical Emergency Handling unit.
  • Limited Wardrobe: A loading screen quote reveals he always buys multiple copies of the same shirt whenever he goes clothes shopping.
  • Must Have Caffeine: While downplayed compared to Espresso Cookie, Almond Cookie frequently has a coffee cup in his hands. Justified, as his job is very demanding in terms of time and energy.
  • Not So Above It All: He’s the Only Sane Man amongst the teachers at Parfaedia Institute...except for when he tried to arrest a dragon in the Parfaedia Institute event.
  • Promoted to Playable: He first appeared as an NPC in the Light the Beacon and Parfaedia Institute event before becoming a playable character. He also came as a playable cookie in OvenBreak in mid-June 2021.
  • Properly Paranoid: He believes that magic usually leads to problems, even by accident. Since he deals with mishaps and incidents every day, he's absolutely right. He at least hopes that teaching about safety protocols can help lighten the burden on him and his unit.
  • Silver Fox: He's noticeably aged, most likely in his mid-to-late 50s, but is still quite good-looking. His "Commissioner of Parfaedia" costume makes him even more handsome.
  • So Proud of You: States this to his daughter, Walnut Cookie, in the Butter Painting Affair.
  • Stern Teacher: Out of all the teachers in the Parfaedia Institute event, he is the strictest and most by-the-book one. He makes the student go through traditional lectures and exams like any ordinary teacher would be, won’t have mercy when they don’t listen or fall asleep mid-class, but he cares for them greatly and only wants them to do their best. Pretty ironic, since he’s the only one of the three who isn’t actually in the academic field.
  • The Stoic: Usually keeps a calm expression on his face but is known to crack smiles every now and then. He cracks a particularly adorable smile in his victory animation.
  • Synchronization: Almond Handcuffs has him use magical handcuffs to apprehend the enemy with the lowest max HP and apply the Damage Link Debuff, which disperses a portion of damage the apprehended enemy receives between up to five linked enemies.
  • Team Pet: Constable Whiskers is this to the Magical Emergency Handling department who one day entered the office and settled down on Almond's desk. They're considered so cute and adorable that every officer practically begs Almond Cookie not to bring Constable Whiskers out in the open out of fear that they'll get hurt.
  • Workaholic: Due to constantly being dispatched to resolve magical accidents, he hardly ever gets a break for long. In his introduction video, he is constantly cut off mid-sentence by chains of incidents, such as Cherry Cookie’s bombing, Poison Mushroom Cookie harassing Onion Cookie, and nearly getting caught in Rye’s stray shots when he finally tries to take a break.

"This song is gonna be pretty intense!"

"My music is who I am."
Class: Bomber
Position: Middle
Skill: Electrifying Rock!
Released in: Version 4.8 (Summer Soda Rock Festa, second part)

The guitarist and lead singer of indie rock band SparkL, and one of the headliners for the Summer Soda Rock Festa. She's also the former bandmate of Shining Glitter Cookie.

Black Lemonade Cookie is a Bomber Cookie placed in the middle, and her skill is called Electrifying Rock!. She plays her guitar to drop a lightning strike on the enemy with the highest HP (prioritizing enemy Cookies), inflicting Zap, lowering their DEF, and increasing the Crit damage they receive. She then damages nearby enemies and reduces their ATK, and her now stronger regular attacks target the enemy with the highest HP and any enemies near them. The party also gains the Electrifying Rock Spirit buff, which powers up a charge every time an ally does Zap damage or a critical hit, and deals extra damage to enemies when the charge is full. When using her skill, Black Lemonade Cookie is briefly resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Battle Cry: "Gimme a beat."
  • Color Motifs: Black and yellow. Her hair is black with yellow streaks, her wardrobe is a mixture of black and yellow, and she uses a yellow guitar.
  • Distaff Counterpart: A lemon based cookie with a music aesthetic, stoic attitude, and electric powers with an outgoing female friend? She's the female Lemon Cookie! She also wears black whereas Lemon wears white.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: She has pupils that look like a four-pointed star.
  • Freaky Fashion, Mild Mind: Wears a fishnet glove, ripped jeans, and has dual-toned hair, but she's down to earth.
  • Image Song: Transfigure.
  • Interface Spoiler: While the use of her gacha illustration in the version trailer and her music video made it no secret that Black Lemonade Cookie would eventually be playable, her rhythm game segment in Soda Island Rock Festa spoiled her rarity and class before she was officially announced to be joining the roster.
  • Lead Singer Plays Lead Guitar: She's the lead singer of SparkL and plays guitar.
  • Masculine, Feminine, Androgyne Trio: The Androgyne to Rockstar Cookie's Masculine and Shining Glitter Cookie's Feminine. She's also this to SparkL's old lineup, which consisted of her, Shining Glitter Cookie, and the masculine Bassist Cookie.
  • Motifs: The MV to "Transfigure" has many mirror and reflection motifs, as she looks back at the cookie she used to be before shattering that image of her old self and becoming who she is now.
  • No Social Skills: She openly admits that she's not good at socializing and is better at communicating through song.
  • Oral Fixation: Her gacha illustration shows her holding a lemon wedge-shaped guitar pick in her teeth.
  • The Power of Rock: An indie rock musician who plays her guitar on the battlefield.
  • Shock and Awe: She attacks enemies with electricity generated by her guitar playing.
  • Stealth Pun: A rock musician who can attack with lightning strikes. She's a literal electric guitarist.
  • The Stoic: She keeps a calm face towards everything.
  • We Used to Be Friends: With Shining Glitter Cookie; the two were in the same band along with Bassist Cookie until Shining Glitter left to be a pop star. However, Black Lemonade never got angry at Shining Glitter's decision and Shining Glitter herself admits that they never argued, but rather just grew apart. The two reconnect at the end of Summer Soda Rock Fest while seeing Rockstar perform.

    Black Raisin Cookie

"INTRUDER, stop right there!"

”There’s nothing to be afraid of in the dark.”
Class: Ambush
Position: Middle
Skill: Shadow Watcher, Sentinel's Strike (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 1.3 (Lost Kingdom, first half)

A one-armed cookie warrior who can command the crows to aid her in her crusade against the forces of evil. A survivalist by nature, she came to help out GingerBrave and his friends in thwarting the evil Strawberry Crepe Cookie during their adventures.

Black Raisin Cookie is an Ambush Cookie placed in the middle, and her skill is called Shadow Watcher. Scoping out her targets with her Black Raisin Eye, Black Raisin Cookie disappears into the shadows and reappears in the midst of the enemy team, striking several times and dealing area damage. As they’re the biggest threats, she targets enemy Cookies first.

Her Magic Candy upgrades her skill to Sentinel's Strike. She now does extra area damage hits and amplifies enemy debuffs. She also increases her CRIT DMG for the duration of her skill, and deals more area damage when landing a critical hit. Level up the Magic Candy to increase the damage received by enemies that are hit with her area damage.

  • An Arm and a Leg: According to her story, she lost an arm during the struggle for survival and hides the loss with her cloak and a piece of shoulder armor. This makes her canonically the fourth Cookie to be disabled after Pirate, Lobster, and Aloe Cookie.
  • Animal Motifs: Heavily associated with crows.
  • The Beastmaster: She tames numerous raisin crows to aid her.
  • Battle Cry: "No point in hiding!"
  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • After disappearing for nearly a map’s worth of story, she leads the village to aid GingerBrave and co. when they get exhausted post-fight in stage 10-30 and forces the Cookies of Darkness to retreat before they could act any further.
    • Pulls another one in Chapter 3 of Cookie Odyssey, when she and her crows save GingerBrave and company again after they’re cornered in an alley by House Custard’s guards. Not only do she and her crows take care of the guards, but they also return the Soul Jam (which Espresso Cookie had taken from the Institute of Thaumaturgy after being fired from the Magic Candy Research) to the Ancient Heroes.
  • Clever Crows: Her raisin crows are capable of following complicated orders and can open jail cells as proven in World 17. GingerBrave lampshades how they're able to do that, with Black Raisin herself answering she's just as shocked.
  • Creepy Crows: Subverted. She does have a crow motif and use them as a mean of attack, but she is by no means evil at all.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: With her black hair, dark-colored attire, spiky pauldrons, glowing right eye, and crows surrounding her everywhere she goes, Black Raisin Cookie would fit amongst Dark Enchantress’ minions very well. She’s instead of the incredibly noble protector of Vanilla Kingdom’s remnants and only acted hostile towards GingerBrave and his friends because she mistook them for intruders wanting to harm the defenseless villagers.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: Has a glowing four-pointed star in her left eye. Her skill description calls it the “Black Raisin Eye”.
  • Face Framed in Shadow: First appeared in Story Mode with half of her face covered in shadow, likely to signify her mysterious and dangerous presence.
  • Foil: To Strawberry Crepe Cookie. While Black Raisin is the grizzled, yet noble protector of the remnants of the Vanilla Kingdom who exemplifies Dark Is Not Evil and is True Companions with the rest of the village, Strawberry Crepe is a bratty Gadgeteer Genius whose whose cute, cheeky appearance belies how twisted they are and is a Fish out of Temporal Water who desperately craves companionship at all costs.
  • Hammerspace: It's never shown where Black Raisin keeps her crows when not in battle. Lampshaded by Burnt Cheese Cookie when he questions just how many crows she carries on her while measuring their souls.
  • Handicapped Badass: She may have lost an arm, but she is still a force to be reckoned with.
  • Not So Above It All: While she's portrayed as a cool, collected protector of her village and the villagers in it (who are well meaning, but clumsy and a bit silly), Black Raisin Cookie can be just as enthusiastic and clumsy when it comes to things like doing chores. One of the villagers notes in Chapter 1 of Cookie Odyssey that Black Raisin Cookie once made a huge mess of the Crow's Nest Inn because she got too excited while doing the dishes.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: She initially hates Golden Cheese Cookie for refusing to help in the war against Dark Enchantress Cookie and doesn’t hesitate to express that dislike. But she comes to realize, after Golden Cheese Cookie takes time to give a subject a golden anklet to replace one that had been stolen, that the two care deeply for those around them, just express that care in different ways.
  • Parrot Pet Position: Her crow companion is almost always perched on her arm.
  • Team Mom: She becomes a mother figure to the villagers and later Strawberry Crepe Cookie. For the latter in their "Crunchy Dreams" story, she checks up on them and gives them a Raisin Crow to cuddle to help them fall asleep.

"Only the worthy may enter the Golden Paradise!"

”You cannot pass.”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Keeper of the Gates
Released in: Version 4.11 (The Lost Golden City)

A loyal and dedicated gatekeeper from the Golden Cheese Kingdom, guarding the entrance to the Golden Paradise.

Burnt Cheese Cookie is a Charge Cookie placed in the front, and his skill is called Keeper of the Gates. He summons giant boulders to deal damage to nearby enemies and gives an Earth-type CRIT buff to his team. Then the boulders explode to deal more damage and stun enemies. He then grants Keeper of the Gates and Curse Protection to the ally with the highest ATK; the former makes the carrier immune to debuffs but also has damage focused onto them. If he enters a battle with Golden Cheese Cookie, he gains increased DMG Resist. If Golden Cheese Cookie enters her Sarcophagus, Burnt Cheese Cookie's ATK and STK SPD temporarily increase and his skill cooldown resets, and the buffs from his skill will automatically be provided to her. When using his skill, he is briefly immune to interrupting effects.

  • Battle Cry: "You cannot pass!"
  • Benevolent Boss: A loading screen reveals he spends his off days buying snacks for his jackals and snakes.
  • The Comically Serious: When he judges the souls of GingerBrave and his friends, he even goes as far as to judge the souls of all of Black Raisin's crows, to which he lampshades how many Black Raisin has on hand.
  • The Computer Is a Lying Bastard: His skill description says that both he and Golden Cheese Cookie gain increased DMG Resist if they enter a battle together, but it's actually just him who gets it.
  • Dead All Along: He's been dead for years, with his soul having been uploaded into a virtual reality.
  • Dishing Out Dirt: His skill sees him summoning giant boulders from the ground to attack foes.
  • Dub Name Change: His name in Korean is "Basque Cheese Cookie", originating from basque cheesecake.
  • Eyes Out of Sight: His jackal mask obscures his eyes.
  • Foreshadowing: Burnt Cheese Cookie's motif is based off Anubis, herald to the underworld. It's a huge red flag in regards to the truth about he and everyone else in the Golden Cheese Kingdom technically being dead.
  • Gate Guardian: He is a gatekeeper of the Golden Paradise, issuing trials to those trying to get in.
  • Informed Attribute: He is said to have jackals and snakes under his command, but we only see the jackals.
  • Mirror Character: To Caramel Arrow Cookie. They're both no-nonsense protectors of their respective kingdoms who are fiercely loyal to their rulers, and in gameplay they're both frontline attackers. Burnt Cheese's disagreements with Smoked Cheese Cookie can also be seen as a mirror to Caramel Arrow's disdain for Affogato Cookie, as the latter Cookies in both pairings are mirror characters in their own right.
  • Mythical Motifs: In a kingdom inspired by Ancient Egypt, the jackal mask is a dead ringer for Anubis, the god of funerary rites and herald to the underworld.
  • Scales of Justice: He weighs the souls of GingerBrave and company, which includes the crows of Black Raisin Cookie.
  • The Stoic: Unflappably so. His face is in the same stone cold expression for the entire story and he's dead serious about doing his job and protecting his queen. The only time he even comes close to cracking a smile is in the overworld when he's feeding his jackals.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Golden Cheese Cookie, who he made a sacred vow to. In Episode 18, he is willing to go mano e mano with Smoked Cheese Cookie until he crumbles, even if it all it does is buy his queen some time.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: He wears gloves and long sleeves, but not an actual shirt.
  • Welcome to Corneria: Before Wizard Cookie tells him to stop on the third iteration, he keeps introducing himself as "I am Burnt Cheese Cookie. The Keeper of the Gates."
  • You Shall Not Pass!: He utters this when using his skill.

"This will be the greatest experiment of my career!"

”Now, now! Chin up, everybody!!”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Dough Experiment
Released in: Version 5.2 (The Cookie Laboratorium, second half)

The head of a research team from Beast-Yeast who studies how Cookies are made. Even in dire circumstances, he always has a positive attitude.

Butter Roll Cookie is a Charge Cookie positioned in the front, and his skill is called Dough Experiment. His spinning whisk deals damage and creates a vortex to suck in enemies, reducing their ATK and ATK SPD while buffing his own DMG Resist. The whisk then deals more damage and stuns its captives, dealing more damage to stun-resistant enemies. While using his skill, he is briefly resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Affably Evil: Despite working with the bad guys, he has an incredibly jovial attitude and doesn't do any actual villainy. He's just in it for the research equipment.
  • Casual Danger Dialogue: You'd never guess that him and his research team were kidnapped by Dark Enchantress Cookie based on his attitude. In fact, he says he's glad to have been kidnapped because of how advanced the Cookie Laboratorium's equipment is.
  • Curtains Match the Window: His yellow eyes match his blonde hair.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: He has small pupils that turn into stars when he's excited.
  • For Science!: As upbeat as he is, his driving motivation is furthering his research on the creation of Cookies, regardless of who he has to work with to do it. Not for a second does he worry about working with Dark Enchantress Cookie and her minions; he's actually fine with being kidnapped by her purely because of the advanced facility she's set him up with.
  • Fork Fencing: His weapon is a giant whisk that spins fast enough to scramble and stun enemies with.
  • Innocently Insensitive: He asks about Matcha Cookie's missing ingredient with genuine curiosity and fascination, but because it's a sore subject for her she doesn't take kindly to his questions.
  • Perpetual Smiler: He's rarely without a smile plastered on his face, though the game notes that it's eerie to watch it vanish while he's working.
  • Professor Guinea Pig: In his release trailer, he contemplates the idea of experimenting on himself, though he notes that he wouldn't be able to conduct the experiment on his own.

"●●●!! ◀◎○???"

”◎■●※▲◎●!!!”
Class: Support
Position: Rear
Skill: Deep-sea Diver
Released in: Version 3.7 (Legend of the Duskgloom Sea, second half)

A friendly and curious explorer of the ocean with a helmet full of soda water.

Candy Diver Cookie is a Support Cookie placed in the rear, and their skill is called Deep-sea Diver. Their years of wandering the depths has given them the Safeguarded ability, meaning they cannot take damage, but also can’t do any damage themselves. Instead, their regular attacks lower the Defense and increase the Damage received by the closest enemy. Their skill has them jump into the depths and retrieve one of four relics, healing the party and providing a random buff depending on the relic they pulled out. One of the relics is rarer than the others, and the chance to get it is based on Candy Diver Cookie’s Amplify Buff Rate; any time they pull a relic that isn’t the rare one, the chance increases.

  • Ambiguous Gender: Their concept art lists their gender as "unknown".
  • Creepy Old-Fashioned Diving Suit: Downplayed. While they are a ghost inhabiting an old diving suit with no body parts outside of their eyeballs, they're a very friendly character willing to help out even a total stranger. Plus there's the fact that they don't actually know they're a ghost.
  • Dead All Along: For the entirety of the Black Pearl Islands story, Candy Diver Cookie's sprites have their Face Framed in Shadow. When Captain Caviar Cookie encourages them to take off their helmet, he briefly freaks out upon realizing that they're a ghost and have no head under there. They don't actually know they're a ghost themselves, however.
  • Dub Name Change: Their name in Korean is Gumball Diver Cookie.
  • Everyone Knows Morse: One of their defeat voice lines has them spelling out "SOS" in morse code beeps.
  • Eyes Are Unbreakable: Their eyeballs are the only physical part of their body left, as everything else has been lost to the sea and replaced with soda water. When Captain Caviar Cookie convinces them to take off their helmet, it's implied via a rolling sound effect that their eyes fell out of their helmet and onto the floor of the submarine.
  • Face Framed in Shadow: Their helmet is hidden by a black shadow during the Black Pearl Islands storyline, likely to hide the twist that they're a ghost with no physical body.
  • Intelligible Unintelligible: While their "voice" is just a bunch of noises transcribed as a series of unicode symbols, Captain Caviar Cookie can at least mostly understand them. This may be because their concept art states that they use body language to communicate due to spending so much time underwater.
  • Non-Indicative Name: They're called a Cookie just like everyone else, but there's not much Cookie left in that diving suit.
  • No Face Under the Mask: In regular gameplay their lack of face is consistently visible through their helmet, but the Black Pearl Islands storyline makes this The Reveal after Captain Caviar Cookie convinces them to take their helmet off (they had their Face Framed in Shadow up until this point).
  • No-Sell: They were the first Cookie to have the Safeguarded ability, which prevents them from taking damage and being knocked out.
  • Shadowed Face, Glowing Eyes: In their crewmember disguise, they wear a uniform that hides their diving suit, leaving only their eyes peeking out of a now-shadowed face.
  • Support Party Member: Taking it even further than most Support-class cookies, Candy Diver is outright incapable of attacking, or fighting at all — they can't even take damage! They contribute to battle by buffing the other cookies, and if the rest of the party is wiped out, Candy Diver will just vanish.
  • Trail of Bread Crumbs: While they and Captain Caviar Cookie are trying to escape from Black Pearl Cookie, they suddenly remember a trail of sparkling coral that they and their long gone friend made so they could find each other in the ocean if they got lost. After locating it, they use it to navigate Captain Caviar Cookie's submarine away from Black Pearl Cookie and escape.
  • The Unintelligible: Their dialogue is a series of unicode symbols, and their "voice" is a bunch of bubbles and clanking noises rather than an actual voice actor. They mostly use body language to communicate instead.
  • Walking Spoiler: It's hard not to spoil the fact that they're really a ghost.
  • We Cannot Go On Without You: Inverted. To balance out their invulnerability, if Candy Diver is the only one left standing after everyone else is knocked out, they die instantly.
  • You Remind Me of X: Becomes fast friends with Captain Caviar Cookie because he reminds them of their old friend who they went diving with eons ago, but is implied to have been taken and likely killed by Black Pearl Cookie while the pair were separated. The end of the Black Pearl Islands storyline shows that they're still with Captain Caviar Cookie as a navigator in his crew.

"It's CAPTAIN Caviar Cookie to the likes of you!"

"The Elders can yap all they want. My job’s simple: defendin’ the Republic!"
Class: Bomber
Position: Middle
Skill: Black Shark Torpedo, Black Shark Torpedo Mk.2 (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 3.6 (Legend of the Duskgloom Sea, first half)

The seafaring head of the Créme Republic's House Caviar and captain of the Salty Shark, known for his fleet and their defense against pirates.

Captain Caviar Cookie is a Bomber Cookie placed in the middle, and his skill is called Black Shark Torpedo. The Captain calls in the Black Shark Submarine, which fires three torpedoes at the enemy with the lowest HP (going in descending order and targeting Cookies first). The torpedoes explode on impact, dealing area damage, with more damage being done to enemy summoned creatures. Captain Caviar Cookie and his allies receive increased Debuff Resist, while the enemies get their Defense lowered after the torpedoes explode. Captain Caviar Cookie is immune to any type of Fear effects, and while his skill is active, he becomes resistant to interrupting effects.

His Magic Candy upgrades his skill to Black Shark Torpedo Mk.2. The torpedoes target the nearest enemies (Cookies first) one by one to cause a chain explosion. All types of this skill's damage can bypass enemy DMG Resist, and incoming Reflected DMG is decreased for the captain himself. Level up the Magic Candy to increase the damage of each explosion.

  • Alliterative Name: Captain Caviar Cookie.
  • Ambidextrous Sprite: His tattoos fall victim to this regularly. If he's facing to the right in the overworld, the ones on his arms will be on the wrong sides. His story sprites do this too, but even when the arm tattoos are on the right sides, the one on his torso and the ornament on his headband flip between sides so that they're always visible to the player.
  • Animal Motifs: Despite the name of caviar, he seems to be associated with sharks. His hairstyle strongly resembles one, he's got the sharp teeth of them, and it's in the name of his ship, which also has shark-shaped torpedos. He also rode a shark into battle once.
  • Ascended Extra: Was originally an NPC and part of the Cookie Odyssey storyline, becoming a playable character in the September 2022 update.
  • Badass Armfold: His default pose is one of these, and it shows up in his other sprites too.
  • Battle Cry: "You're nothing against my fleet!"
  • Coat Cape: He wears his coat like this, although he insists that it's not the coat that indicates his authority.
“The coat doesn’t make me a captain, it’s all about respect!”
  • Cool Old Guy: His status as a Republic Elder implies that he's an older man, but he still knows how to kick ass. The Black Pearl Islands storyline reveals that he beat out a bunch of paladins to win the Republic's martial arts tournament, and one of his level up voice lines has him say that he rode a shark into battle once.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: The dark grey colour palette with dull red eyes, tough looking appearance, the black coat and hair, and sharp teeth make him look like one of the more sinister Elders, but he's actually one of the nicer ones, not to mention one of the only ones with his head on straight.
  • Father Neptune: Old and experienced sailor, highly respected by his crew, Nerves of Steel, can hold his own in a fight, and even has shades of The Storyteller, as the Black Pearl Islands storyline is largely a flashback told from his perspective.
  • Good Counterpart: To Abalone Cookie. Both of them are black wearing sailors, but Abalone Cookie is a greedy miser who doesn't care who he hurts or manipulates as long as he is rich. Captain Caviar Cookie is a heroic defender of the seas and refuses to step aside from there's evil afoot. While Abalone Cookie only used Lord Oyster as a pawn to be rich, Captain Caviar and Oyster Cookie are good friends. Upon meeting Black Pearl Cooke, Abalone whimpers and cries in fear while Captain Caviar calmly talks smack about her savagery being a mask.
  • Insistent Terminology: His gatcha quote states that you call him Captain Caviar Cookie.
  • Irony: The post that announced his playable debut described him as “ferocious like a pirate”. Caviar has a strong disdain for pirates, and has been defending the Republic’s waters from them for a very long time.
    • Furthermore, his regular attack sees him firing a flintlock pistol, which was a weapon commonly used by pirates during The Golden Age of Piracy.
  • Manly Facial Hair: A tough, fearless, shirtless navy captain with a nice moustache.
  • Nerves of Steel: He isn't scared of Black Pearl Cookie in the slightest, both in story and in gameplay. In story he speaks to her without so much as a stutter and sees her tragic motivations behind her sadistic facade, accidentally pressing her Berserk Button in the process. In gameplay, his fearlesness means he's immune to fear related debuffs, which includes Black Pearl's Terror of the Abyss.
  • No Shirt, Long Jacket: Wears a black naval jacket with gold trim as a Coat Cape, showing off his tattooed chest and arms as well as his gold jewelry.
  • Only Sane Man: Along with Oyster Cookie, he's a voice of reason amongst the Elders.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: He's really the only Elder who cares about the plight of the Lower City's denizens, and is staunchly against the plan to cover up the arrests of Canelé and Mille-Feuille.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: In Day 3 of the Cookie Odyssey storyline, he calls out his fellow Elders for trying to cover up Mille-Feuille and Canelé's crimes and Honor Before Reason decisions. Judging by Vanilla Sugar's apology towards him later, it manages to work.
Captain Caviar Cookie: I object! This Convocation has made irredeemable mistakes, and its members were involved in crimes that can't be dumped into the sea in the dead of night! This convocation is a body of hypocrisy and deceit... Y'all are no different than a ragtag bunch of pirates!
Vanilla Sugar Cookie: Captain Caviar Cookie! This Lyceum will not tolerate your foul accusations! And do not forget! You too are a member of our Convocation!
Captain Caviar Cookie: We've never dealt with issues, EVER! It was always a cover-up or just wishing it'd go away! Far too often have I heard you lot talking about how this city will be different from the Vanilla Kingdom. But when things get out of hand, your actions lead us to the same bitter end! WE, my friends, live by different rules. We, Cookies of the Sea, have been living here, surviving here long before you showed up! And we face our problems, head-on!
Custard Cookie: Are you deliberately sowing unrest in this Lyceum? You are out of line!
Captain Caviar Cookie: Unrest, ya say? Open your eyes! Unrest between Cookies of Sweet and Salty Dough has been brewing for years. How long has it been since any of you have laid eyes on the Lower City, eh? While you're getting fat on desserts of butter and sugar, the Cookies in the Lower City have been trying to stomach nasty glasses of mudshakes filled with gravel!
  • Shut Up, Hannibal!: When the other Consul members take offense, he doesn't hold back on calling them out on their flaws.
  • Snooty Haute Cuisine: Inverted. Despite the fact that he’s made of caviar, which is notorious for being associated with this trope, Captain Caviar Cookie is one of the nicest Elders who cares the most about the impoverished Lower City and the Cookies of the Sea.
  • Spear Counterpart: Of Captain Ice Cookie. Both are captains who roam the seas fighting off pirates and have contrasting colors (Captain Ice is white, Captain Caviar is black) and strike up a friendship with another cookie — Peppermint for Captain Ice and Candy Diver for Captain Caviar — and also met up with two aquatic legendary cookies (Sea Fairy for Captain Ice and Black Pearl for Captain Caviar).
  • Sympathy for the Devil: Seeing Black Pearl Cookie's odd reaction to the mutual trust he built with Candy Diver Cookie, as well as the one ship that seems to be in an unusually pristine condition amongst all the wrecks, he quickly comes to the realization that there's something more tragic guiding her actions than mere amusement and sadism, and him pressing her on this information is enough to push her Berserk Button, in turn proving his suspicions correct.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: He doesn't wear a shirt underneath his coat, further reinforcing his manly charm.
  • Undying Loyalty: One of his character quotes states that he's with his men till the end of the line and will do everything he can to help them.

"I shall defend the Wall with my life."

"My conscience is clean, and I will prove it.”
Class: Ranged
Position: Front
Skill: Arrow of Resolution
Released in: Version 2.8 (Heroes of Dark Cacao, second part)

The First Watcher of the Dark Cacao Kingdom who unfortunately makes herself enemies with the treacherous Affogato Cookie.

Caramel Arrow Cookie is a Ranged Cookie placed at the front, and her skill is called Arrow of Resolution. Leaping to the back of the party, Caramel Arrow Cookie turns her twin blades into a bow and begins firing, targeting enemy Cookies first. Enemies that are hit receive an Arrow Mark, and after Caramel Arrow Cookie finishes firing and rushes forward to her spot in the front, the Arrow Mark explodes and deals damage based on the target’s Max HP. While firing, Caramel Arrow Cookie is resistant to interrupting effects and immune to debuffs.

  • Aloof Archer: She is a professional, resolute individual with incredibly strong mental fortitude, and also an archer.
  • Arch-Enemy: She REALLY hates Affogato Cookie and wants nothing more than to smash him into crumbs.
  • Armor-Piercing Attack: Her Arrow of Resolution skill marks enemies with Arrow Marks that are detonated once the skill ends, dealing damage equal to a percentage of their maximum HP, with the damage being much higher against enemy Cookies. This makes Caramel Arrow an exceptionally powerful tank-buster and overall attacker in the Arena.
  • Battle Cry: "For the king!"
  • Big Damn Heroes: She managed to catch Dark Cacao Cookie after the latter was pushed off the citadel by Dark Choco Cookie, saving him from a certain death by falling.
  • Dual Wielding: Her bow can split into a pair of blades that she uses to attack.
  • Dub Name Change: In Korean, her name is Brown Sugar Cookie.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: She first appeared as a silhouette in Dark Choco Cookie's illusion nightmare in the Cookies of Darkness story.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: She is both saddened and angered when she learns Dark Choco Cookie attacked his father, and calls him out on it.
"My prince! You promised a future as strong as the mountains... yet instead, you assaulted your own king...!"
  • Glass Cannon: She is a Ranged Cookie who stays in the frontline, and while her defenses are better than most Ranged Cookies to compensate, she's still fairly fragile.
  • The Good Chancellor: She had put in efforts to aid the abandoned citizens of the kingdom by sharing with them her own rations during her personal time.
  • Loved by All: She is well-loved and respected by all of the Dark Cacao residents who know her. Even after she was banished, many of the guards and the citizens continue to speak very kindly of her, much to Affogato Cookie's annoyance. It helps that Dark Cacao Cookie never actually believed Affogato's slander against her, and only "banished" her as a form of insurance to protect the citizens.
  • Mechanically Unusual Fighter: Unlike all other Ranged Cookies, who by default get placed at the back of the party (except for Sherbet Cookie who is placed in the middle), Caramel Arrow Cookie is placed at the front, with her skill putting her behind the party and making her immune to interruptions.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Her selfless efforts in aiding the abandoned citizens are twisted by Affogato Cookie into lazing out from duties and stealing rations from the citadel's pantries, and she got banished for it. Turns out that Dark Cacao knew of her loyalty to him and instead got her to leave to protect the villagers.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: She drinks Bubbly Boba in one of her overworld animations as a reference to how her Korean name - Brown Sugar - is a popular flavor of milk tea in Korea. Her April Fools artwork cranks this up.
  • Undying Loyalty: Towards Dark Cacao Cookie and the Dark Cacao Kingdom, and she still defends the former from the rumors surrounding his character by saying that he will always be an awe-inspiring leader. Even after her banishment, she continued to spend time in the wilderness in order to protect the Dark Cacao Kingdom and its citizens in her own way. Her loyalty is rewarded when it’s revealed that Dark Cacao Cookie was never swayed by Affogato Cookie into distrusting her, and only sent her out because he believed her kindness made her perfect for protecting the villagers were the walls to fall.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: The last episode of Last Cookie Standing reveals that she's afraid of Jelly Bees.

"I just LOVE the Town Square!"

”I'm always here to help in the town square!”
Class: Support
Position: Rear
Skill: I've Got Choux
Released in: Version 5.3 (Come Together! Cuckoo Town Square)

The always-chipper and universally-loved local helper from the Cuckoo Town Square. She loves nothing more than keeping the townsfolk just as happy as she is.

Caramel Choux Cookie is a Support Cookie placed in the rear, and her skill is called ''I've Got Choux''. At the start of a battle, the party gains her Friendly Helper buff, and her skill heals the team while giving DMG Resist and Amplify Buff to healed targets, as well as lending an HP Shield to whoever has the lowest Max HP. When using her skill, she is briefly resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Dub Name Change: In Korean she goes by St. Honoré Cookie.
  • Loved by All: The folks of Cuckoo Town Square love Caramel Choux Cookie and the help she lends to the town, having nothing but niceties to say about her and even calling her heaven-sent.
  • Nice Girl: She's cute, upbeat, and loves to help her neighbours.
  • Punny Name: The name of her skill, I've Got Choux, is a pun on her own name.
  • Serious Business: She takes taking care of the Town Square with utmost seriousness, to the point that seeing the Pointy Punks wanting to dump banana peels is akin to someone trying to blow it up with a bomb.

"I hope this light will reach all corners of this land..."

”Watch your step! I’ll shine the way!”
Class: Support
Position: Rear
Skill: A Warm Light
Released in: Version 2.4 (The Frost Witch and the Lantern in the Snow, first half)

An optimistic and warm-hearted shepherd from a snowy town. The lantern she carries always shines for a dear friend of hers. She is the focus of the The Frost Witch and the Lantern in the Snow update.

Cotton Cookie is a Support Cookie placed in the rear, and her skill is called A Warm Light. Cotton Cookie shines her lantern, healing her team overtime and increasing the Attack of summoned creatures. Cotton Cookie also calls in three sheep that charge forward, stun enemies, deal area damage, and then stick around to fight with the party for a short time.

  • All for Nothing: The Frost Witch and the Lantern in the Snow have her traveling to search for a cure for her friend Sherbet Cookie. Unfortunately, for all she's done, she couldn't save her friend from becoming a Frost Spirit. However, her love for her friend resurrects him to let him travel all over the land with her promising to wait for him...and then the 1st Annivesrary Epilogue reveals that he's now Invisible to Normals. Thankfully she gets to see him again in the December 2022 update.
  • Alliterative Name: Cotton Cookie.
  • Ambiguous Situation: In the 1st Anniversary Epilogue, was Cotton Cookie completely oblivious to how Sherbet Cookie is now Invisible to Normals and standing right next to her (even when one of her sheep tried to tell her about it)? Or was she playing dumb about it and knows that, somewhere, he's out there and thinking of her? The Stories from the Fireplace event reveals that it was the latter as she finally reunites with him in the end.
  • Animal Motifs: Sheep. The cotton in her outfit looks similar to wool, her gacha draw animation has her with a sheep, along with her summoning sheep as part of her ability, and her staff is a shepherd's crook with a bell. Helps that her occupation is a shepherd.
  • Battle Cry: "I'll light the way!"
  • Braving the Blizzard: She does this in order to figure out where Sherbet Cookie has gone to and also to obtain a rare flower to cure his illness.
  • Break the Cutie: The truth about Sherbet Cookie and what will happen to him — he fades away into the snow — crushes her to pieces. She becomes a full on sobbing wreck when he dies in her arms.
  • Casting Gag: Cherami Leigh voices a girl who can summon sheep into battle.
  • Cradle of Loneliness: After Sherbet Cookie fades into the snow, she is shown sobbing while holding onto his cotton ball pin.
  • Declaration of Protection: She vows to protect Sherbet Cookie from the Frost Witch. Unfortunately, she can ultimately do nothing as the Frost Witch takes him away so he can return into the snow, but her tears ended up reviving him to become a Frost Spirit.
  • Determinator: Not even a deadly blizzard will stop her from seeing her friend again. Even as Granny Cotton, she waits for Sherbet to return.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: In the December 2022 storyline, Stories from the Fireplace, she finally gets to reunite with Sherbet Cookie.
  • Fairytale Motif: She's based off of Gerda from The Snow Queen as she braves a blizzard to figure out what happened to her friend and her tears — actually her love — end up saving Sherbet Cookie from fading away into the snow.
  • Gameplay and Story Segregation: The three winter themed event storylines make it known that Cotton Cookie is currently an old lady. However, the Cotton Cookie that players collect and battle with is her younger self.
  • Iconic Item: Her lantern is associated with her. Frost Queen Cookie calls her "Cookie with the lantern", Sherbet Cookie states that he sought out the light of her lantern as he got ill, and a tradition is held in her village where lanterns are lit during winter.
  • I Will Wait for You: The end of The Frost Witch and the Lantern in the Snow has her promising to wait for Sherbet Cookie to return, even as she becomes a grandmother. Unfortunately, as the 1st Anniversary Epilogue shows, while he does return when Cotton is now an old cookie, she can't see nor hear him. However, the Stories from the Fireplace storyline has her finally see him again.
  • In-Series Nickname: Frost Queen Cookie calls her "Cookie with the Lantern". Justified because she honestly has no idea what Cotton Cookie's name is at the time.
  • Jack of All Trades: Cotton Cookie is a very versatile Cookie. Her Cotton Sheep can act as attackers, stallers, and also provide a little crowd control, and Cotton herself can serve as a healer and a buffer to any and all summoned creatures currently on the field.
  • Leitmotif: "When the Snow is Warm", shared by Sherbet Cookie.
  • Light Is Good: She has a lantern by her side, symbolizing warmth and light. Sherbet Cookie even comments how her lantern is what kept his spirits going.
Cotton: [attack quote] I'll light the way!
  • Miles to Go Before I Sleep: In the Stories from the Fireplace finale, she states that she's holding on to see her dear friend one more time before she goes stale. She and Sherbet finally reunite at the last scene.
  • Please, Don't Leave Me: Begs Sherbet Cookie to stay upon seeing him fade away into frost.
Cotton: No! (starts sobbing) Sherbet Cookie! SHERBET COOKIE! NO! PLEASE STAY! DON'T GO! (reduced to heart-renching sobs)
  • The Power of Love: Nothing will stop her from being by her friend's side, not a blizzard, not the Frost Queen herself, and not a quest of searching for a rare flower, and not even him turning into snow in her arms. Her love for him helps turn him into a Frost Spirit.
  • The Promise: After Sherbet Cookie turns into a Frost Spirit, she vows to wait for him so he can tell her of all his adventures, something she continues to do even as an elderly cookie. Unfortunately, by the time the One-Year Anniversary event appears, this is all for naught. She can neither see nor hear Frost Spirit standing by her side. Thankfully, the December 2022 update has her finally see him again.
  • Sweet Sheep: The sheep that she herds are just as adorable as she is.
  • Swiss-Army Tears: Subverted. Her tears don't transform Sherbet Cookie into a Frost Spirit, but this act of love is what gives him the strength to reconstitute himself.
  • Tragic Keepsake: An elderly Cotton Cookie is seen wearing Sherbet Cookie's cotton ball pin.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Cotton Cookie's stats aren't too impressive, with a low Attack stat, but she has exceptional versatility with her Cotton Sheep fulfilling multiple roles at once.
  • "You!" Exclamation: States this to Frost Queen Cookie when they meet.

"Each ivory key should be played with purpose."

"It'll be nothing like you heard before."
Class: Ranged
Position: Rear
Skill: Accelerando
Released in: Version 4.15 (Holiday Express)

A master Cookie pianist set to perform a show on the Holiday Express... until Old Jolly is found dead and everything goes sideways, that is.

Crème Brûlée Cookie is a Ranged Cookie placed in the rear, and his skill is called Accelerando. His regular attacks do light damage and get enhanced with the Accelerando buff. He targets the enemy with the highest ATK and applies Mysterious Melody to nearby Cookies with enhanced attacks. He also creates Crème Brûlée Pieces based on his Accelerando stacks. The pieces deal damage in order of highest ATK, extra damage to targets vulnerable to elemental damage, and at max stacks they partially ignore DMG Resist. If the skill ends at max stacks, two stacks will be taken away. When using his skill, he will be briefly resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Battle Cry: "Crescendo!"
  • Clear My Name: He's framed as the murderer of Old Jolly in Holiday Express. Turns out it was a Frame-Up by the Bear Conductor.
  • Gratuitous Italian: Occasionally peppers his dialogue with bit of Italian musical terminology.
  • Musical Assassin: He's a pianist who attacks by playing a floating keyboard.
  • The Perfectionist: He's specifically described as one who makes sure his music is organized and with notes to help keep him organized. This actually becomes a plot point when his missing folder of music is somehow out of order.
  • Ship Tease: His relationship with Linzer Cookie reads a lot like past lovers meeting again after drifting apart, especially in the final scene of Holiday Express where they talk about focusing on their passions to the point where they stopped talking to one another.
  • Spanner in the Works: At the beginning of the Holiday Express, he asks Linzer Cookie to swap rooms. This causes Royal Bear Jelly, unaware of the swap, to steal his sheet music in an attempt to get the manuscript for Linzer Cookie's next book.
  • Two Girls to a Team: His release turned the Ranged class into a gender-flipped example of this, as the only other male Ranged Cookie before him was Sherbet Cookie, who was released the year prior.

"Awooo! Guess who's here first! Haha!"

”As long as I have my comrades with me, I can do anything!”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Wolf Squadron
Released in: Version 3.1 (The Council of Heroes, second half)

The no-nonsense squad captain of the Cream Wolves that defend the borders of the Dark Cacao Kingdom.

Crunchy Chip Cookie is a Charge Cookie placed at the front, and his skill is called Wolf Squadron. Crunchy Chip Cookie’s regular attacks inflict the Claw Mark debuff, which after stacking three times, removes all of an enemy’s buffs and decreases their Attack Speed. His skill has him charge forward and do damage while summoning two extra Cream Wolves. He and his wolves receive a portion of all buffs to summoned creatures thanks to the Tamer passive. If Crunchy Chip Cookie is defeated, the wolf he rides becomes enraged and keeps fighting, becoming resistant to incapacitating effects; if Crunchy Chip Cookie is revived, he will return to the back of the wolf. Crunchy Chip Cookie and his wolves are less affected by Knockback and Flying, and while using his skill, he briefly becomes resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Animal Motifs: Wolves. He considers the Cream Wolves of his squad to be his comrades and brothers, bears a striking resemblance to the wolf that follows him around, and even shares some of their mannerisms, such as their howling, ferociousness in combat, and appetite for sweets.
  • Attack Animal: Commands the entire squad of Cream Wolves, and even rides one into battle. His skill can summon two more wolves to fight with him for a short time.
  • Battle Cry: "Here we come! CHARGE!!!"
  • The Beastmaster: Crunchy Chip Cookie can summon his Cream Wolves to fight alongside him with his Wolf Squadron skill. He also works incredibly well with other "summoner" Cookies like Cotton, Pumpkin Pie, and Licorice Cookie, as Crunchy Chip partially benefits from the buffs they grant to their summons. He also gets very pissed off if you hurt one of his wolves.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Hurt his Cream Wolf and get ready for him to unleash John Wick levels of absolute rage on you.
Crunchy Chip: (after a White Hood kicks his Cream Wolf) Did you just kick my best friend? DID YOU JUST KICK MY BEST FRIEND?! Bring It...BRING IT!!!
    • He also gets annoyed if others call his wolves "puppies".
  • Big Eater: He loves sweets. In Day 2 of Cookie Odyssey, his nightmare starts off with him gorging on jellies. And at the end of the event, he has to confess to his king that he ate lots of them (especially since Dark Choco observed that his Cream Wolves had gotten bigger within a few days' time).
  • Big Guy, Little Guy: The Little Guy to Wildberry Cookie's Big Guy.
  • Enmity with an Object: After he reveals his horrible dream of gorging on sweets being found by Dark Cacao, he blames this on the bed he was sleeping in.
Crunchy Chip: It's that soft. velvety. bed! That...thing defies everything the warriors of Dark Cacao stand for!
  • Expy: To the famous X-Men character Wolverine; They both have semi-feral appearances and (usually) berserk personalities and they use claws to attack their enemies (the only difference is that Wolverine has two claws whereas Crunchy Chip Cookie only has one claw). They're also pretty short.
  • Faux Horrific: In Day 2 in the Creme Republic, he confesses to having a horrible nightmare...of eating lots of sweet jellies and being caught by Dark Cacao Cookie, who forced him and the wolves into disciplinary training.
Crunchy Chip: (frantic) I felt like my insides were being turned inside out!
    • This becomes subverted at the end of the Heroes of Light story. Dark Cacao Cookie doesn't mind if Crunchy Chip Cookie has sweets every now and then.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: While he and Wildberry Cookie occasionally butted heads at the beginning of Cookie Odyssey, their time together in the Créme Republic (which included a lot of battling) turned them into an incredibly close pair.
  • Good Counterpart: To Red Velvet Cookie; while they both are the commanders of their own pack of Canine Companions, Red Velvet Cookie is a red and black wearing Anti-Villain who serves Dark Enchantress Cookie but has a soft spot for his Cake Hound minions whereas Crunchy Chip Cookie is a heroic white and black dressed ally of Dark Cacao Cookie who has an affinity with his Cream Wolf companions.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: It is said that he has a really quick temper.
  • Horse of a Different Color: Rides one of the Cream Wolves during battle.
  • In-Series Nickname: One of the events in Chapter 1 of Cookie Odyssey changes his name in the dialogue box to “Wolf Dad”.
  • Insistent Terminology: He gets very angry when others call his Cream Wolves "puppies".
Crunchy Chip: A PUPPY?! This majestic creature is a CREAM WOLF! A WOLF!!!
  • Is It Something You Eat?: One of his overworld voice lines has him asking this about the word “delegation” after pronouncing it like he’s never heard it before.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite being short-tempered, Crunchy Chip Cookie is a heroic cookie who serves as a protector of the Dark Cacao Kingdom and has a strong sense of justice.
  • Large Ham: Most of Crunchy Chip Cookie's lines are said with him howling and snarling and chewing up scenery like he would jellies.
  • My Species Doth Protest Too Much: Aside from some friendly and docile Cake Hounds that are shown as pets of some of the cookie residents in the Hollyberry Kingdom (as shown in the background when playing in some of the levels in Episode 11 "Grandberry Market"), the Cream Wolves that Crunchy Chip Cookie leads are unambiguously good and heroic despite their fearsome appearances and for essentially being Cake Hounds themselves.
  • Pintsized Powerhouse: Crunchy Chip is noticeably shorter than most Cookies, but is no less of a powerhouse for it.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The wild quick-tempered Red Oni to the calm, stoic Blue of Wildberry.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: If Crunchy Chip is defeated, his wolf will become enraged and keep fighting for him, becoming resistant to incapacitating effects.
  • Sweet Tooth: While both he and the wolves clearly enjoy eating sweet things, Crunchy Chip Cookie sees it as a weakness and does not like to indulge in it, attempting to put up a Real Men Hate Sugar facade and forcing himself to do extra training if he eats so much as a single Jelly. An idea of eating jellies in a dream is considered a nightmare where King Dark Cacao Cookie is disappointed in him indulging in his vices and forces him and his wolves into disciplinary training. When he confesses this to Dark Cacao Cookie that he's been eating sweets at the end of Cookie Odyssey, Dark Cacao Cookie forgives him as it's not really an offense.
  • Training from Hell: During Day 2 of the Cookie Republic event, he compares the stress of retrieving Dark Cacao Cookie's Soul Jam to the time that he trained for seven days and seven nights...on an empty stomach...in the mountains...during a blizzard!
  • Uncatty Resemblance: He and his wolf look practically identical.
  • Verbal Tic: Many of his quotes, including his gacha one, have him let out an imitation of a cream wolf's howl.

"Our museum's doors are open to everyone!"

”Ah, have you brought me a relic? Come now, let me take a look!”
Class: Support
Position: Middle
Skill: Book of History
Released in: Version 2.6 (War Under Shattered Skies)

A Cookie historian with vast knowledge who runs a work-in-progress museum, and also teaches history at Parfaedia Institute. Elegant and graceful, but it must be said that he tends to go overboard with his explanations whenever a guest shows interest in his favorite topic: dragon-fighter Cookies!

Eclair Cookie is a Support Cookie placed in the middle, and his skill is called Book of History. Using his analytical prowess, Eclair Cookie identifies the weak points of the three enemies with the highest Attack (targeting Cookies first) and slams a book shut on them, dealing damage and inflicting the Weakness debuff. Weakness, which can refresh itself every time it’s stacked, amplifies the damage that the three targeted enemies receive, and if an enemy is defeated while carrying Weakness, the party receives an HP Shield.

  • Ambiguously Gay: Arguably crossing the line into intentional Ship Tease; he seems to be crushing on Tea Knight Cookie, given just how much he gushes over Tea Knight. The two of them head off together for a talk at the end of Tea Knight's event, and the bond that they appear in implies that they now live together.
  • Ambidextrous Sprite: In his Title Screen art, Winning sprite, & Base Sprite his monocle is on his right eye, but in his Illustration, Profile Icon, & Losing Sprite it's on his left.
  • Awesome by Analysis: With all the knowledge and research accumulated over the years, he can analyze and identify the opponent's weakness in battle using his skill, Book of History.
  • Barrier Warrior: If an enemy is killed while afflicted with his Weakness debuff, the party receives a shield worth 25% of their maximum HP.
  • Battle Cry: "Write that down!"
  • Berserk Button: Don’t fall asleep in his classes or try to donate jewels to his museum.
"What's this... a jewel? DO I LOOK LIKE AN APPRAISER TO YOU?!"
  • Damage-Increasing Debuff: He provides one of the most potent ones in the game with his "Book of History" skill, inflicting the Weakness debuff which increases the damage the enemy takes by 25%, and stacks up to 4 times.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: The Treasure Gacha, which has been in the game since launch, has a stained glass window in the background featuring three Cookies. Eclair Cookie is the one on the far left.
  • Fanboy: Of dragon-fighter Cookies. He tends to go overboard when explaining them to any interested guest, and gushes over Tea Knight Cookie when they meet face to face.
  • High-Class Glass: A self proclaimed Cookie of class, Eclair Cookie is the first of Kingdom origin to wear a monocle, and one of his voice lines mentions that he has a pair of spectacles as well.
  • Large Ham: Gets massive sparkly eyes when you donate an artifact to his museum, and some of his voice lines are rather over the top, especially in the English dub. Examples being him growling when someone brings him a jewel to look at, or letting out a loud, dramatic gasp when he notices that one of his artifacts is dirty.
  • More than Just a Teacher: While being a historian and museum curator is his main squeeze, he’s also the history professor at the Parfaedia Institute of Magic.
  • Non-Action Guy: While he can be placed on your team like any other Cookie, he'll specifically note when defeated that he's a scholar and not a fighter. In the Expedition to Protect Earthbread storyline, he's notably absent from the fight against the Greenish-Red Dragon.
  • Serious Business: Relics are serious business to him, and he takes extra care when handling them.
"*GAAAAASP!* A spot on my precious relic...!"
  • Ship Tease: Has a fair amount with Tea Knight Cookie. He often talks about Tea Knight Cookie in a way that definitely seems a bit too much to just be an interest in his history. The fact that they both appear in the same bond and it mentions them going home together after a walk after Tea Knight Cookie learnt that Eclair Cookie had told Cocoa Cookie an incredible (albeit not all true) story about one of his dragon fights also helps.

"Coffee is a magical substance! Any counterarguments?"

”Yes, I’m here. What now?”
Class: Magic
Position: Middle
Skill: Grinding, Perfect Extraction (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 1.0 (Launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom)

Caffeinated beyond compare, this Parfaedia Institute professor specializes in the art of Coffee Magic. He is often at odds with Madeleine Cookie, who is especially his opposite in just about every way. Unfortunately, his coffee chemistry makes him rather restless and sleepless, not that he cares. Here's hoping he doesn't get insomnia, whenever that may be!

Espresso Cookie is a Magic Cookie placed in the middle, and his skill is called Grinding. Espresso Cookie uses his Coffee Magic expertise to conjure a giant whirlwind that deals periodic area damage and pulls in enemies, even if they are resistant to interrupting effects. At the skill’s end, there is a final burst of damage that has a chance to interrupt skills. While using his skill, Espresso Cookie is briefly resistant to interrupting effects.

His Magic Candy upgrades the skill from Grinding to Perfect Extraction. In addition to increased damage plus additional damage based on an enemy’s Max HP (with more damage being done to enemy Cookies), the final burst of damage will now inflict Injury. Level up the Magic Candy and the final hit will also Stun enemies, while doing heavy damage to enemies immune to being Stunned.

  • The Ace: A pioneer of the school of Coffee Magic and effectively the master of the field, as well as being well-regarded by citizens of the Republic to the point where he was chosen as their representative for the quest to find the legendary Soul Jam, and eventually creates the Magic Candy that empowers Cookies. Is there really anything more to say?
  • A Day in the Limelight: Chapter 2 of Cookie Odyssey has a major focus on him and Madeleine Cookie, as it takes place in their home of the Créme Republic. Espresso in particular is also a key player in Chapter 3.
  • Alchemy Is Magic: It's suggested that alchemy is effectively the source of Espresso Cookie's magic, with his brewing experiments being inseparable from his spellcasting.
  • Badass Cape: Wears a large cape with a Mystical High Collar and is a proficient magician capable of creating in-all-but-name black holes out of thin air.
  • Balance Buff: Espresso Cookie is the one who introduces the Magic Candy, upgrading his Grinding into Perfect Extraction, that draws in enemies regardless of interruption resistance, deals additional damage based on Max HP, inflicts Injury, and stuns them at the end.
  • Battle Cry: "Escape this!"
  • Berserk Button: Don’t you dare try to compare Coffee Magic to dark magic.
  • The Dandy: Not quite shown in-game, but a loading scene text mentions that once one gets to know him better, they will see he’s very particular about his outfit. One of his idle animations has him make small adjustments to his attire such as flattening the wrinkles on his cape.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Even though he’s black from head to toe - being made from coffee will do that to you - and is often mistaken for a practitioner of black magic, and he can be rather insufferable and painfully blunt, he is also capable of nice deeds and is firmly on the side of good.
  • Deadpan Snarker/Gentleman Snarker: He insults Madeleine Cookie in a very roundabout way that is not unlike sarcastic praise, with a facial expression not changing one bit.
  • Defrosting Ice King: In the Parfaedia Institute event, he intentionally drove students away from his class so that he could spend more time on his research, and was not so happy when there’s someone registered in - so he ended up making a rather harsh impression. He still agreed to teach that student and, over time, has come to trust them enough to let them receive the magic reagents in his stead and welcomes their suggestion regarding his recently failed experiment. Remember, this is Espresso Cookie we are talking about. At the end of the semester, he praises them for their efforts and encourages them to never stop learning, in his own way of expressing gratitude.
  • Does Not Like Spam: Milk, especially when it’s added to coffee. When Latte Cookie offers to conjure up some lattes during the Protect Earthbread! storyline, Espresso Cookie becomes appalled at the very idea of mixing milk with coffee, going so far as to say it’s anything but the latter.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: Unlike most cookies who, for the most part, have white eyes with big round pupils, his eyes are significantly darker and his pupils are slit in shape and black in color. They are the result of high caffeine content in his body and also a trait of Coffee Tribe’s members. It seems to be an intentional design choice so that when he opens his eyes fully, they will resemble coffee beans.
  • Foil:
    • Espresso is a serious, black-from-head-to-toe genius magician who believes in nothing more than realism and Coffee Magic. Madeleine is a mostly-white knight with Large Ham tendencies who devotes himself to the Divine almost blindly.
      • Cookie Odyssey expands on this when delving into their upbringings. Madeleine Cookie was born into a prestigious noble family and chosen by the Divine as a Paladin; everyone praises him as a celebrity within the Republic despite the fact that he hasn’t actually done much in terms of being a knight. Espresso Cookie meanwhile hails from the decidedly less glamorous Lower City, struggling with finances and keeping himself afloat, and gained his fame and recognition through years of his own hard work and intelligence.
    • To Licorice Cookie. While both of them are masters of their respective fields of magic (and in a meta sense are both first-generation game-breaking Glass Cannons), Espresso Cookie is a noble Jerk with a Heart of Gold who revolutionizes the school of Coffee Magic and has earned great respect from the republic’s citizens, whereas Licorice Cookie was looked down upon and went to the dark side to gain recognition, becoming that Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain we all know.
    • To Latte Cookie, his colleague and long-time research partner. He’s a Defrosting Ice King who acts very aloof and detached towards his students (when he’s even willing to teach any), while Latte is a kind, energetic and passionate Cool Teacher who constantly puts her students’ development and wellbeings first.
  • Glass Cannon: While a very powerful Magic Class unit that can easily grind enough damage against enemies, especially with his Magic Candy, Espresso is just as easily be taken out once front-line fighters are defeated (as with other mid-lane units).
  • Gravity Master: His signature ability, Grinding, is effectively a black hole combined with a whirlwind to draw enemies in while slicing them to shreds. In the main screen and some official artworks, he’s also seen floating above the ground, implying that he can extend the effect of this power to himself.
  • Insufferable Genius: Very clear in his opinion that his chosen field is the best school of magic, and that his expertise should not be questioned. Naturally, he and the reformed Strawberry Crepe get along very well.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He’s kinda insufferable, blunt, and not the most socially pleasant guy to be around, but the fact that he willingly goes along with Madeleine to help Snow Sugar build a theater and carries Madeleine back to their kingdom after both are injured during said quest shows his true color as someone honorable and good at heart.
  • Motor Mouth: In the English dub, he speaks this way to highlight how he's drinking so much coffee.
  • Must Have Caffeine: He consumes a lot of coffee for the sake of experiment, and has come to be addicted to the substance. In fact, he drinks so much that his body seems to have developed a tolerance to caffeine.
  • Pale Females, Dark Males: Has black hair and dark brown clothing, in comparison to Latte's light browns and white.
  • Power Floats: He's seen levitating in the opening animation and while using his skill.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The calmer, intellectual Blue to Madeleine’s Red. Interestingly, their color palette would imply the opposite.
  • The Sleepless: As he puts it, "sleep is not in my schedule". One short comic on GingerBrave’s Twitter account confirms that he can and will neglect sleep for days if someone doesn’t forcefully yank him to the bed, though being made from a substance packed with caffeine means that he can last without rest for that much a time.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: His magic relies on knowledge and he’s the founder of an entire magic school. As such, he’s currently the only Cookie of Kingdom origin who wears glasses.
  • Spock Speak: The way he talks is very analytical and without any trace of informality even when he’s insulting someone. Even Madeleine, whose speech has a high-class reminiscence due to his Blue Blood, sometimes can’t keep up with Espresso.
  • Stoic Spectacles: He wears round glasses whose frames resemble a cup looked from above and is usually very composed and professional.
  • Tempting Fate: In a positive way; frustrated with his failures with the magic candy, he is ready to throw in the towel and unceremoniously drops a cup of espresso onto it, stating that it won't change anything. Cue him creating his own Magic Candy.
  • Vocal Dissonance: His voice in the English dub sounds more like an awkward nerd than the slow, deep, and suave voice he has in the Japanese and Korean dubs.
  • Workaholic: He’s dedicated to perfecting Coffee Magic to the point of self-neglecting, rarely takes a rest, and refuses to spend time on what he deems ‘unnecessary’, such as justifying the nature of his Magic or making acquaintance with Madeleine Cookie. Justified, since he is made mostly of coffee which is likely keeping him occupied with so much energy that he simply can not rest despite his mental or emotional exhaustion. He does confirm in the Parfaedia Institute event story that fatigue has become a part of his routine.

"Woo... I'm... a mummy..."

”Wooo!”
Class: Defense
Position: Front
Skill: Unstable Fettuccine
Released in: Version 4.12 (Goddess of Eternal Gold)

A small, shambling mummy Cookie with an unstable aura, described as out of place in the paradise of the Golden Cheese Kingdom.

Fettuccine Cookie is a Defense Cookie placed in the front, and her skill is called Unstable Fettuccine. She taunts enemies and smacks them with her giant arms, making them prone to Earth DMG and decreasing their ATK. Then she heals herself and gains a buff called Fettuccine Wraps. Her Unstable Aura reduces the ATK of in-range enemies, and when a certain number of these in-range enemies are defeated, the party will be healed. The more her Max HP is decreased, the more her DMG Resist increases. Once per battle, she becomes Immortal after taking a fatal hit, decreasing enemy ATK SPD with her Unstable Aura at the cost of depleting hers too. When using her skill, she is briefly resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Cute Monster Girl: She's a Cookie mummy who looks like an adorable and confused little girl.
  • Dishing Out Dirt: Her skill deals Earth-Type Damage.
  • Extendable Arms: She can grow and extend her fettuccine arms to attack.
  • I Shall Taunt You: Her skill can Taunt enemeies.
  • Not Quite Dead: While every other denizen of the Golden Cheese Kingdom had their bodies crumbled and their souls contained in cheese wheels uploaded to the Golden City, the cheese wheel that contained Fettuccine Cookie's soul was nibbled away at by beetles, leaving her in a half-alive state both in the real world and the virtual one. Notably, she seems to be the only denizen (apart from Golden Cheese Cookie herself) who can exist in both worlds without trouble, as she decides to travel with Olive Cookie at the end of Episode 18.
  • Odd Name Out: She's the only named Cookie denizen of the Golden Cheese Kingdom to not be based on or named after a kind of cheese. She's instead named after a kind of pasta.
  • The Unintelligible: Averted. Prior to her playable debut, her only spoken dialogue in the story was a few "wooo"s. However, the Episode 18 trailer shows that she can properly speak in addition to her "wooo"-ing.
  • Undead Child: She's a mummy who looks like a little girl.
  • Zombie Gait: Always has her ams outstreched while she's walking, and is described in her story as being a slow walker. Even her gacha animation is of her slowly trudging along with her arms extended.

"Financier Cookie, at your service."

”As a knight, I am bound by the will of the Light.”
Class: Defense
Position: Front
Skill: Paladin Protection, Paladin's Devotion (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 3.3 (Heroes of the Light)

A paladin from the Créme Republic who follows both the guidance of the Divine as well as the Republic's Consul, Clotted Cream Cookie.

Financier Cookie is a Defense Cookie placed in the front, and her skill is called Paladin Protection. Her skill has her Regular Attack deal area damage, and she will both heal and increase the Attack, Damage, and Critical Hit Resist for herself and another Cookie. This Cookie is usually the one with the highest Attack, but if Clotted Cream Cookie is in the party, she will automatically protect him instead, as well as healing more than she normally would. She will also grant a Light’s Shield to both herself and the protected Cookie, and enemies who attack it will be damaged by Light’s Judgement when it disappears, with Light’s Judgement dealing damage based on how much damage the Light’s Shield took while it was active. While using her skill, Financier Cookie will briefly become resistant to interrupting effects.

Her Magic Candy upgrades her skill to Paladin's Devotion. She now buffs the protected Cookie's DMG Resist and CRIT Resist and gives them Debuff Immunity. She also heals the team based on her DEF and increases their DMG Resist. Level up the Magic Candy to increase the Light-type damage in her skill's area.

  • Battle Cry: "The light guides my hand!"
  • Bodyguarding a Badass: She's been designated as the highly skilled Clotted Cream Cookie's bodyguard during his time in the Vanilla Kingdom. Her skill also has her place down her protection on Clotted Cream Cookie specifically, or the Cookie with the highest ATK.
  • Friend to All Children: Her loading screen trivia says that she's beloved by all the young Cookies at the Republic's orphanage. So seeing them corrupted by Mille-Feuille Cookie to becoming the White Masks horrifies her.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: She has to harshly yell at her liege Clotted Cream to snap out of it when he starts descending into full-on panic at Dark Enchantress's attack on the Republic.
"CONSUL, SIR! SNAP OUT OF IT! We must stay calm and think rationally! The Cookies of the Crème Republic need our aid!"
  • Gold and White Are Divine: She dresses primarily in white with gold accents and accessories, and she was chosen by the Divine to become a paladin.
  • Jerkass to One: Financier is normally noble, courteous, and polite to most cookies she talks to. Towards Madeleine Cookie however, she is snarkier and more disdainful, rivalling even Espresso.
"Ser Madeleine Cookie could be so much more than... that."
  • Lady of War: She is a beautiful, elegant, and accomplished paladin.
  • Meaningful Name: No, she's not someone who keeps an eye on someone's finances, even though her namesake ingredient gets its name from its resemblance to a bar of gold. Her name instead comes from a French almond cake, indicated by her pauldrons.
  • The Paladin: The brightest of the Republic's Paladin Academy graduates.
  • Satellite Character: A large chunk of her character is based around her relationship with Clotted Cream Cookie, to the point where her skill is more effective if he's in the party. Chapter 3 of Odyssey gives her some of her own screentime, though, as she's the one who finds out the truth behind the White Masks.
  • The Stoic: She keeps a stoic, determined face all the time.
  • Zodiac Motifs: Her Brilliance of Justice costume is based on the Libra sign and constellation.

"My jellyfish told me a new story. Would you like to hear?"

”Dear jellyfish, have you got any stories for White Pearl Cookie?”
Class: Support
Position: Middle
Skill: Frilled Snare
Released in: Version 4.10 (A Mermaid's Tale part 3)

The faithful, elegant maid and attendant of the Gem Mermaids, specifically White Pearl Cookie.

Frilled Jellyfish Cookie is a Support Cookie placed in the rear, and her skill is called Frilled Snare. She snares up to five enemies in her tentacles, dealing Sea Foam damage and reducing their ATK SPD. The targets are Zapped and take increased Water-type DMG, while Frilled Jellyfish Cookie gets a DMG Resist buff while burrowing into the ground to protect herself. ATK SPD changes do not affect her actions while using her skill, and if she dies in combat, she dissipates into smaller jellyfish that heal the party overtime.

  • Battle Cry: "I'll clean up this mess!"
  • Dramatic Irony: The ending of her reveal video says she'll "never forget White Pearl Cookie". Players will know that's exactly what happens.
  • Gameplay and Story Integration: Despite getting hit with a harpoon and seemingly dying, she later ends up regenerating. In her words "jellyfish live forever". Sure enough, should she die in battle, she turns back into a normal jellyfish.
  • Poor Communication Kills: As she "dies", she tells White Pearl that jellyfish live forever. She wasn't talking metaphorically, she meant it literally as she is revived soon after but with most of her memories gone.
  • Taking the Bullet: Gets in the way of a thrown harpoon in order to protect White Pearl Cookie during A Mermaid's Tale She initially seems dead, but revives later on while Tearcrown is being destroyed.
  • Tentacle Rope: When using her skill, she immobilizes opponents with her tentacles and deals water damage to them.
  • That Came Out Wrong: As things go to literal hell in "A Mermaid's Tale" and White Pearl wants to help her sisters, Frilled Jellyfish states that she shouldn't because "you don't have powers like her sisters". She quickly takes it back but this became another nail in the coffin that was White Pearl's insanity.
  • Unscaled Merfolk: Unlike the other merfolk from A Mermaid's Tale, her lower half is that of a jellyfish.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Her accidental blurting out that White Pearl doesn't have powers like her sisters and taking a harpoon for White Pearl were the last straws that made the innocent White Pearl Cookie become the maddened with power Black Pearl Cookie.
  • Verbal Tic: She tends to draw out her words when she speaks. For example, she'll enunciate the "e" sound of Lady.

"Behold the honorable Paladin before you!"

”Each swing of my sword broadens my horizons!”
Class: Defense
Position: Front
Skill: Paladin's Way
Released in: Version 4.4 (Triple Cone Cup Part 2)

The pride of the Créme Republic's Paladin Academy and their representative in the Triple Cone Cup.

Kouign-Amann Cookie is a Defense Cookie placed in the front, and her skill is called Paladin's Way. Using the Power of the Light, her regular attacks now do Light-type damage, and extra damage when she gains an ATK SPD buff. The two Cookies with the highest ATK SPD have the stat increased, and the whole party has their Light-type damage increased while also being resistant to ATK SPD debuffs. At the end of the skill, Kouign-Amann Cookie prefors a powerful attack, partially ignoring the target's DMG Resist. Whenever she gets a debuff, she increases her DMG Resist and Regular ATK SPD, and she is briefly resistant to interrupting effects when using her skill.

  • Battle Ballgown: Wears a big and elaborate gown befitting a princess that’s accented with some equally fancy looking armor.
  • BFS: Effortlessly wields a greatsword that’s even bigger than she is.
  • Determinator: While she does get down on herself after losing the first round of the Triple Cone Cup, questioning if she’s good enough to represent the Créme Knights, she winds up being this in the end as she wants to prove that she’s still a capable Paladin even if she does things a bit differently. During her Hall of Mirrors segment, she technically "loses" (drops her sword) to a mirror version of herself a total of ten times, but still keeps going, as she believes that she’s only lost if she gives up.
  • Distaff Counterpart: To Madeleine Cookie. They're both top-class, light-wielding paladins from the Crème Republic, they're both Defense Cookies with large swords, and they both enjoy showing off their charm. Additionally, Madeleine wears a shiny suit of armor with a blue cape while Kouign-Amann wears an elaborate pink gown.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: She has heart shapes in her eyes, though it’s unclear if they’re pupils or not.
  • Kicking Ass in All Her Finery: She’s an accomplished BFS-wielding Paladin, but she looks like she could be a princess, complete with elaborate Regal Ringlets and Battle Ballgown.
  • Masculine, Feminine, Androgyne Trio: The Feminine to Capsaicin Cookie's Masculine and Prune Juice Cookie's Androgyne.
  • Pink Is Feminine: She's very girly and princessy in appearance and attire, and her signature color is pink.
  • Super-Strength: In addition to effortlessly wielding a sword bigger than she is, she’s able to carry both Prune Juice Cookie under her arm and Capsaicin Cookie over her shoulder while sprinting out of a burning Hall of Mirrors with zero trouble.

"Something on your mind? I can lend you an ear."

”Be calm, think carefully. The answer will come to you!”
Class: Magic
Position: Middle
Skill: Care for a Latte?, Stronger Cup of Latte (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 1.2 (Beacons of Unity, first half)

A very sweet and motherly professor, she is the teacher, and a very good friend, of Cream Puff Cookie who is an expert on Coffee Magic like Espresso Cookie before her. Alongside her friend Almond Cookie, she helped Cream Puff Cookie in her endeavors to restore the light to the beacons during the Flame Of Unity story. She is also the most open-minded when it comes to teaching other students and is incredibly popular as the Parfaedia Institute professor of choice as a result.

Latte Cookie is a Magic Cookie placed in the middle, and her skill is called Care for a Latte?. Latte Cookie conjures up a magical Latte Glyph that draws enemies to its center, dealing damage, inflicting Silence, and immobilizing anyone caught in it. The Glyph remains on the ground dealing damage overtime, with more damage being done to enemies in the center of it.

Her Magic Candy upgrades her skill to Stronger Cup of Latte. Latte Cookie's skill now increases the party's Debuff Resist, and amplifies enemy debuff effects. The first attack dealt to the enemy party after this takes place does extra damage. If an enemy is Poisoned, their healing is also reduced. Level up the Magic Candy to heal the party when using Latte Cookie's skill and increase the duration of the Silence debuff, and when it's maxed out, the Outer Latte Glyph's damage becomes equal to the Inner one.

  • Battle Cry: "Pay close attention!"
  • Beware the Nice Ones: While she's always happy and nice, seeing enemies harassing the bear jellies, however, can make her happy charm break and anger her.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: She’s not exactly the sharpest-seeming teacher and often arrives late in class - even in the wrong classroom, but when it comes to teaching and magic, she cannot be joked with.
  • Cool Teacher: Latte works as a professor at Parfaedia Institute, and a cool one of that. Not only she’s a Hot Witch, but she’s also incredibly enthusiastic in class and supportive to her students, guiding them to learn through mistakes and willing to listen whenever they have something in their mind. No wonder her class becomes popular this semester.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Before the game mode for Guild Battle was officially released, one of the silhouettes was shown to be Latte Cookie.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: Inverted. She's the only coffee-based Cookie of the playable roster to not have the Coffee Tribe's signature slit pupils.
  • Foil: To Espresso Cookie, fellow Coffee Magic-user, and professor at Parfaedia Institute, but have different ways of treating their class. She is very enthusiastic to personally guide a student to their goal and has a relaxing aura around her that calms her students down when they accidentally screw up something. Espresso meanwhile puts his research overtaking a student, up to deliberately turns them away from registering for his class with nonsensically difficult lesson plans; and when there is a student who enrolled in, he has no qualms about leaving them be unless they prove their capability.
  • Geometric Magic: The Latte Glyphs. She also teaches about Magic Circles in Parfaedia Institute events, implying it to be her specialty.
  • High-Class Gloves: To go with her elegant dress, she wears a pair of white opera gloves.
  • Hot Witch: This is definitely her aesthetic, with the pointy, delicately-decorated witch hat accompanied by elegant attire and silver flying teaspoon that doubles as her Magic Staff.
  • Meaningful Name: A latte is an espresso with milk, hence why she has magic similar to Espresso but is colored with white.
  • Mystical White Hair: Has long white hair and she's a witch.
  • Pale Females, Dark Males: Has a light brown/white color aesthetic compared to Espresso's black and dark brown.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: For all of her eccentricity, Latte knows better than to argue with a rival when the academy’s safety is at stake and is quick to call the two professors of the Council out for their inappropriate childishness. She also volunteers to accompany Cream Puff Cookie to light the Beacons in a heartbeat, stating it’s a professor’s duty to keep her student out of harm’s way.
  • Stealth Pun: Her Halloween Costume, "The Witch's Fatally Sweet Night Out", turns her into a pumpkin spice latte.

"You'd better not interfere or...! Or else!"

”Can’t do anything without me, huh?”
Class: Magic
Position: Middle
Skill: Licorice Servants, Licorice Curse (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 1.0 (Launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom)
Designed by: ieatcookieyeah

Dressing up like the grim reaper, this Dragon Wannabe of Dark Enchantress Cookie can command the undead to do his bidding. Although he is treated like a joke by both friend and foe alike, he is actually no laughing matter when he isn't put against unfair odds. He and Pomegranate Cookie aren't exactly on good terms with each other, either.

Licorice Cookie is a Magic Cookie placed in the middle, and his skill is called Licorice Servants. Putting his Black Magic skills to use, Licorice Cookie strikes the ground with Black Lightning, dealing damage while treating the party to increased Defense. He will also summon three Licorice Servants to charge forward and attack. These Servants are resistant to Knockback, Flying, and Pulling effects, and there can be up to six of them on the field at a time. While using his skill, he briefly becomes resistant to interrupting effects.

His Magic Candy upgrades the skill from Licorice Servants to Licorice Curse. Licorice Cookie’s servants now do extra damage, dealing damage to Cookies based on their Max HP. The enemy with the highest HP is inflicted with a Licorice Curse, which lowers their Defense and Healing while also inflicting Silence and Poison. Poison damage to Cookies is dealt based on their Max HP. Level up the Magic Candy and Licorice Cookie will grant himself an HP Shield.

  • Advertised Extra: In the OvenBreak Hidden Truth of the City storyline, he appears on the loading screen but doesn't make an appearance until the very end, after the Cookiemals and Churro Cookie saved Churro Cookie's village and purified Wind Archer Cookie.
  • Battle Cry: "Face my servants!"
  • Beleaguered Assistant: Even though he chose to follow her himself, it seems Licorice has a hard time being a Professional Butt-Kisser for Dark Enchantress Cookie and secretly laments his hardship behind her back.
  • Berserk Button: Just don't call him "Old Rags Cookie", okay?
Licorice Cookie: ""Old Rags Cookie?" They dare to call me "OLD RAGS COOKIE?!""Old version.
    • He also doesn't like it when his minions are called "rag toys".
  • Beware the Silly Ones: It’s established early on that Licorice Cookie is not the most menacing of the Cookies of Darkness. His coworkers treat him like a pushover, he feels the need to constantly try and prove his skills, and in terms of comic relief he’s second only to Poison Mushroom Cookie. So being the one to summon the monsters from the Licorice Sea in Episode 13, including the Living Licorice Abyss that breaks down the Great Chocolate Wall guarding the Black Citadel, more than proves that Licorice Cookie is a highly capable wizard in his own right. Even Pomegranate Cookie admits that he can be useful.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio: He's the Thin to his Big and Short minions (Schwarzwälder and Bat-Cat, respectively).
  • Black Magic: After failing to get any recognition for his skills as a wizard when he was younger, he turned to the forbidden art of Black Magic instead. He's also one of the only known practitioners of the art besides Dark Enchantress Cookie.
  • Breakout Character: He's the first Kingdom character to cross over into OvenBreak, initially as an NPC in the Hidden Truth of the City and Battle for Fate storylines and as an enemy character during the Cradle of Darkness story event before being Promoted to Playable during the Battle for Fate update.
  • Companion Cube: He gets one in Last Cookie Standing in Rocky, an ordinary rock he talks to.
  • Dark Is Evil: Wears a dark cloak, wields a scythe and he's on the side of Dark Enchantress Cookie.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: For a willing follower of Dark Enchantress and the one who doubts Dark Choco's loyalty the most, even he is appalled with Pomegranate forcibly reminding Dark Choco of his Dark and Troubled Past.
  • Evil Laugh: Every time he appears in a story to cause trouble, he has to get at least a few evil chuckles in.
  • Foil: To Espresso Cookie. While both of them are masters of their respective field of magic (and in-meta sense, Glass Cannon), Espresso Cookie is a noble Jerk with a Heart of Gold who has his own school and earned great respect from the republic’s citizens, whereas Licorice Cookie is looked down upon and went to the dark side to gain recognition, becoming that Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain we all know.
  • Grim Reaper: With all the skulls, scythe and black robe, Licorice really looks like a grim reaper. It may be because licorice candy in real life can be deadly if consumed excessively.
  • Glass Cannon: Like Espresso Cookie, Licorice Cookie can also dish out more damage in a form of summoning his minions that brings additional manpower to the team (in addition to striking down enemies with his Black Lightning). Not bad for our residential Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain. However, also like Espresso Cookie and other mid-lane fighters, Licorice Cookie is just as liable to easily be taken out by enemy units once front-line fighters are knocked out and while still in his cool-down.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Whenever his plan(s) fails, he explodes like mad, REALLY mad. One time he loses his temper is when Poison Mushroom Cookie failed to follow his plan by galloping with Fig Cookie in the cookie bond "Operation Poison Mushroom".
  • Hidden Depths: He seems to know his way around textile work and is the one who made Choco Werehound Princess’ gown, if this image is any indication.
  • Horns of Villainy: His Aberrant Conjurer costume in OvenBreak gives him a pair of dark blue horns.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: When he was young, he just wished to become a great wizard, but a lack of recognition for his talents pushed him into the path of Black Magic.
  • In the Hood: In his first appearance, the hood covers his face.
  • Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: Not a complete pushover (being a capable wizard and one of the more powerful Cookies meta-wise at launch), but he and his minions have a tendency of messing up and running away at the first sign of real trouble. Even his Soulstone description cracks jokes about how no one in the story takes him seriously, friends and foes alike.
Soulstone description: This stone holds a piece of Licorice Cookie's soul. You'd better take it seriously...
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: In addition to his Pet the Dog moments with Poison Mushroom Cookie and his relationship with his minions, his unique jelly shape in OvenBreak says that he secretly has a softer side.
  • Microphone Swinging: His outfit as ZZ Skull of B.A.D 4 turns his scythe into a weaponized mic stand.
  • The Minion Master: His signature ability, Licorice Servants, summons several little licorice creatures to fight alongside him.
  • Necromancer: The Grim Reaper outfit and scythe, the usage of Black Magic, and the fact that he summons minions with skeleton-like faces all give the impression that he works with the undead, but a confirmation didn't come until The Cookie Laboratorium, where Butter Roll Cookie describes his powers as "reanimating lifeless desserts".
  • Pet the Dog: He won't admit it, but he actually does care for Poison Mushroom Cookie. In OvenBreak, he's worried when the Millennium Beast snatches Poison Mushroom away, his Grumpy Shroom Fairy costume admits that he's dressed up this way to make Poison Mushroom happy and he supplied Poison Mushroom the magic wand for their Little Shroom Fairy costume.
  • Shock and Awe: His Black Lightning that strikes down enemies before summoning his minions at his disposal.
  • Shout-Out: His outfit as "ZZ Skull" greatly resembles that of Michael Jackson in the Thriller music video.
  • Sinister Scythe: His weapon of choice, befitting his grim reaper appearance.
  • Skeleton Motif: A sinister Grim Reaper-esque wizard with a strong association with skulls.
  • Stage Name: "ZZ Skull" as part of B.A.D 4. He hates it, but goes along with it because the producer (aka Dark Enchantress Cookie) chose it for him.
  • Sweet Tooth: During the Holiday Cake Shop event, Licorice Cookie is one of the first customers you get, merely ordering out of curiosity… and then he comes back twice in a Paper-Thin Disguise to order two more cakes, each one bigger and sweeter than the last, while denying that he’s drooling over the toppings.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Has this dynamic whenever he's paired up with Pomegranate; they don't seem to get along in the slightest. Lessens a bit after showing what he can do in Chapter 13 and the only time they ever get along is if it involves Poison Mushroom Cookie's safety.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Is this to Team Crispy in Last Cookie Standing
  • True Companions: For as much as he teases and bosses them around, it’s implied that Licorice Cookie does care for his two underlings. Bat-Cat is outright described as being Licorice Cookie’s friend, and in addition to making his Choco Werehound Princess gown, he also acts as Schwarzwälder’s hype man during the Princess Contest, often playing along with the bit just as much as the brute is. Furthermore, during the Holiday Cake Shop event, only one of the first three cakes he orders is actually his — the other two are for Bat-Cat and Schwarzwälder.
  • Yellow Eyes of Sneakiness: Has pale yellow eyes, and hoo boy is sneaky his middle name.
  • You Fool!: Often says this to his minions.
Licorice Cookie (Hood-covered): "You fools! What's taking so long? Have you found the crown?"

"Things always seem perfect in the exposition."

"Now comes the line, "The culprit is...""
Class: Support
Position: Rear
Skill: The Culprit is... YOU!
Released in: Version 4.15 (Holiday Express)

A renowned Cookie writer whose skills in writing mysteries aid her in solving real ones, such as a supposed murder on the Holiday Express.

Linzer Cookie is a Support Cookie positioned in the rear, and her skill is called The Culprit is... YOU! Instead of attacking, she spends her time gaining stacks of Deduction. Her skill increases ally CRIT% and inflicts Suspect on the enemy with the highest ATK, damaging them and area damaging their nearby allies. Suspect is enhanced with Deduction stacks, and at max stacks it decreases the target's DEF and gives allies a CRIT buff. Suspect can be applied even to targets with debuff immunity. When using her skill, she is briefly immune to interrupting effects.

  • Arc Hero: She serves as the protagonist of Holiday Express.
  • Battle Cry: "A classic whodunit!"
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Wears dark colors and has maroon hair, but she's willing to team with Macaroni and Cheddar Cheese Cookie to determine who murdered Old Jolly.
  • Distaff Counterpart: A Support Cookie who uses some sort of pen to unleash debuffs and is a writer of some sorts makes her the female equivalent of Eclair Cookie.
  • Mystery Writer Detective: She's a writer with a thing for mystery tales, and Holiday Express sees her putting her experience to use in a real murder mystery.
  • Plot Hole: In-Universe. She notes that while the evidence points to Crème Brûlée Cookie being the killer because Old Jolly stole his sheet music, there's one small detail that doesn't make sense: why would Old Jolly steal the sheet music in the first place?
  • Ship Tease: Her relationship with Crème Brûlée Cookie reads a lot like past lovers meeting again after drifting apart, especially in the final scene of Holiday Express where they talk about focusing on their passions to the point where they stopped talking to one another.
  • Shout-Out: She's basically the Cookie version of Agatha Christie.
  • Unblockable Attack: The damage from her Suspect debuff is one of these, as it hits targets even if they have debuff immunity. Seeing as how it's her only means of doing any damage, it'd be pretty useless if this wasn't the case.

"The Divine smiles upon me!"

”Ha ha! My deeds will be sung throughout history!”
Class: Defense
Position: Front
Skill: Commander’s Honor, Power of the Light (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 1.0 (Launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom)

This holy knight is a firm believer of truth and justice and puts his sword and shield to good use in his never-ending crusade against villainy! He serves as the exact opposite of Espresso Cookie, of whom he sees as a source of annoyance, but the two of them have each other's backs when the going gets tough.

Madeleine Cookie is a Defense Cookie placed at the front, and his skill is called Commander’s Honor. Madeleine Cookie calls upon Celestial Light, turning his regular attack into a ranged Sword Beam attack that can do area damage. While under the Light’s protection, Madeleine Cookie is immune to debuffs and interruptions.

His Magic Candy upgrades his skill to Power of the Light. Madeleine Cookie's skill does extra damage, and he unleashes the Power of the Light every third swing, which does even more damage as well as true damage based on Madeleine Cookie's Max HP. Upon unleashing Power of the Light, Madeleine Cookie will heal himself, and any remaining light becomes a shield when the skill is over. Level up the Magic Candy to increase the damage of the party's Light-type Attacks.

  • A Day in the Limelight: Chapter 2 of Cookie Odyssey has a major focus on him and Espresso Cookie, as it takes place in their home of the Créme Republic.
  • Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: Subverted. While his three aunts are the perfect example of this, bringing up stories from his childhood and smothering him with affection all in front of his new friends, Madeleine Cookie isn’t embarrassed by any of it, and even says that his family is the best.
  • Ambiguously Gay: The Smithy's Clientele shows that Madeleine values his sword more than a princess. Knight Cookie thinks that he wouldn't fall in love with a princess for no princess could outshine his own radiance. Though, in Madeleine Cookie's side quest, he wanted Espresso Cookie's wounds to be healed before his own.
  • Ancestral Name: A rare case of a son named after his mother (albeit without the "Grand" part).
  • Attention Whore: From his portrayal in promotional videos, he seems to very much enjoy being the center of attention. This earns him the disdain of fellow paladin Financier Cookie, who isn't impressed by his antics.
  • Badass Cape: One in blue color, which often flutters dramatically.
  • Blue Blood: He’s the son of a noble family.
  • Character Development: Chapter 3 of Cookie Odyssey has him start to recognize for how he's a top Paladin, he hasn't actually done anything to receive such accolades compared to Espresso working tirelessly to create the Magic Candies. And when push comes to shove, he decides to become a true hero that helps others, even declaring that even if the entire Créme Republic hates him, then so be it. His mother is proud to hear him stating his goal to fight for what is good and gives him her blessing.
  • Disappeared Dad: While we’re introduced to his mom and aunties in Cookie Odyssey’s Chapter 2, we never hear mention of his father, or if he even has one to begin with.
  • Foil: Espresso is a serious, black-from-head-to-toe genius magician who believes in nothing more than realism and Coffee Magic. Madeleine is a mostly-white knight with Large Ham tendency who devotes himself to the Divine almost blindly. "Cookie Odyssey" expands on this when delving into their upbringings.
  • Friendless Background: Implied. When Madeleine Cookie introduces GingerBrave and the others to his mom and aunties, his aunties are thrilled but also surprised to see him bringing friends home, speaking in a way that implies he doesn't do it very much, if at all.
  • Gold and White Are Divine: His palette consists of white and gold, and he’s a knight claiming to be graced by the Divine.
  • Knight in Shining Armor: His character in a nutshell. He wears white shining armor, rides on a white horse, wields sword and shields into battle, and is quite helpful and heroic if not for his himbo tendency. This is even played within his and Angel Cookie's story where he tasks Angel to shine a holy beacon of light to make him look like his armor is truly shining!
  • Knightly Sword and Shield: Has a sword and several shields floating around him, all are pretty well-decorated. According to his story, their names are the Sword and Shield of Radiant Light.
  • Large Ham: Often acts and talks in a very dramatic way to attract attention, much to Espresso’s chagrin.
  • Light 'em Up: He’s a user of Light Magic. His signature ability, Commander’s Honor, has him call upon the Celestial Light that restores some HP and allows performing ranged area attacks instead of Regular Attacks.
Madeline: [attack quote] Light protect me!
  • Long-Haired Pretty Boy: This is one of the more attractive Cookies with long flowing white hair.
  • No-Sell: While under the Celestial Light/using his signature ability, Madeleine Cookie is immune to debuffs.
  • The Paladin: A holy knight in Defense position whose signature ability can heal, that’s literally Madeleine. He’s also straight-up called a paladin in his story.
  • Rank Scales with Asskicking: Madeleine proves that being a knight commander requires not only charm but also a proficient amount of skill and strength. He’s a top class graduate from the Republic’s Paladin Academy and very proficient with Light Magic.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The boisterous and attention-seeking Red to Espresso’s Blue. Interestingly, their color palette would imply the opposite.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: He’s the spitting image of his mom, Grand Madeleine Cookie.
  • Sweet Tooth: The "Glory of the Creme Republic" story reveals that he has a massive sweet tooth.
  • Sword Beam: His skill turns his regular slashes into a beam projectile fired from his sword.
  • Weapon Twirling: Not in actual combat, but in his winning animation he twirls his sword around multiple times. Knowing him, it’s definitely a show-off.

"I made an oath to protect the Guardian of the Silver Tree."

”Your Majesty, give your command!”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Mercurial Knight's Oath
Released in: Version 5.1 (Theatre of Lies)

The commander of the Silver Tree Knights. Forsaking his previous flavor and scent in order to be blessed with Silver, he is dedicated to protecting the tree at the heart of the Faerie Kingdom to keep his home safe from disaster.

Mercurial Knight Cookie is a Charge Cookie positioned in the front, and his skill is called Mercurial Knight's Oath. He strengthens his regular attacks by doing area damage and casting Mercury Poisoning, then does a final strike that does additional damage based on the amount of Mercury Poisoning stacks his targets have. When debuffed, he gains a stack of Amalgamation; with enough stacks, he dispels all his debuffs and enters Mercury Storm Mode, which can't receive Amalgamation. Using his skill makes him briefly resistant to interrupting effects, and he activates Silver Knighthood if Silverbell Cookie is in the party.

  • Death of Personality: Blessed with Silver, he has given up his flavor and scent that once defined him and devotes his entire existence to protecting the Silver Tree. When Pure Vanilla Cookie wants to learn about his former identity, Mercurial Knight Cookie brushes it off as something that already belongs to the past and unnecessary for the present.
  • Fork Fencing: His glaive was carved from a teaspoon left behind by the witches.
  • Meaningful Name: His has a double meaning. It refers to the element mercury, a silver metal liquid that's further referenced by his color palette and the shape of his wings, as well as the mercury genus of plants, which keeps him in line with the fantastical forest theme of the Faerie Kingdom.
  • Mirror Character:
    • To Crimson Coral Cookie. They're both stoic members of a fantasy race (mermaids and faeries) who wield some type of blade-on-a-stick weapon. They are the commanders of their kingdom's defense force and are wary of any outsiders to their home while being dedicated to protecting it. The main difference is that while Crimson Coral Cookie is a Super Epic Defender, Mercurial Knight Cookie is an Epic Charger.
    • To OvenBreak's Blue Lily Cookie. They're both stoic staff-wielders from a fantastical forest who work with a youthful, flower-based Cookie with "bell" in their name (Lilybell and Silverbell), and they were introduced in an update centred around a story-important, high-rarity, plant-based Cookie (White Lily and Millennial Tree).
  • Stealth Hi/Bye: Has a habit of popping up out of nowhere and surprising people because his wings are completely silent. Wizard Cookie is on the receiving end of one of these unintentional scares in Beast-Yeast Episode 1.

"Choo choo! Next station is... The World of Dreams!"

”Choo choo! We are departing!”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Sugarcloud Express
Released in: Version 4.0 (Invitation of the Slumbering Moon)

A train conductor from the World of Dreams who guides the Cookies to the City of Wizards. She may be good at her job, but she has a tendency to slack off and go off-script when it comes to the rules.

Milky Way Cookie is a Charge Cookie placed in the front, and her skill is called Sugarcloud Express. Milky Way Cookie hops on the eponymous train, gaining a damage reduction buff for herself and a stun resistance buff for the party. The train then pushes back against the enemies several times, dealing damage and applying a defence reduction debuff. After hopping off the train, the whole team gets shields. While using her skill, she becomes briefly resistant to interrupting effects, and she is immune to the Beckoning Dreams effect. Her regular attacks will heal herself instead of doing damage.

  • Adorably Precocious Child: While clearly very young (and very adorable), she can still conduct a train on her own, even if she doesn’t always stick to the rulebook to do it.
  • Celestial Body: Her description says that she’s made from star powder from the Milky Way Galaxy.
  • Character Catchphrase: Likes to proclaim "Choo choo!" before making an announcement.
  • Cool Train: Her train, Sugarcloud Express in which she uses to take Cookies to the City of Wizards and also uses in her attack.
  • Cute Oversized Sleeves: She’s small and adorable, and she wears a conductor's coat with sleeves that hide her hands.
  • Faux Horrific: The idea of her train being damaged that she has to bring it back for repairs and then redo her train trip from the beginning has her horrified.
  • Guide Dang It!: Her skill description doesn't say anything about her regular attacks healing herself instead of damaging. It's only mentioned in the stats section underneath the description itself.
  • Hero of Another Story: She apparently fights space pirates on a weekly basis, if a comment in Exploring the Universe storyline is to go by.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: As an inhabitant of the World of Dreams, she was designed to look different from the rest of the cast. Her body is entirely white and made up of stardust, while her eyes are shaped differently and have a dreamier appearance to them. She also points out GingerBrave and company’s flatness as though it is an unusual sight, implying that she is not flat herself.
  • Oh, Crap!: In the last stage of Episode 15, when Aurora Candy Cookie finds out she abandoned the Sugarcloud Express and transforms into a large monster to teach her a lesson in discipline, her consistently nonchalant demeanour slips for about the only time in the whole episode in favour of genuine fear.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She’s small, she’s cute, and she’s a member of the Charge class.
  • Ramming Always Works: Her ability summons her train to run over enemies.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: When she sees GingerBrave and friends’ tickets to Wizard’s Way Station, she decides to go along with The Slumbering Moon’s plan instead of following her conductor’s manual. Case in point, in order to get the protagonists on the right train to the city, she nonchalantly leaves the Sugarcloud Express in the hands of a random passenger so she can open a portal to the right train.
  • Sleepy Head: She is often looking very sleepy and yawning as she moves through the train. Given she is the conductor for the trains in the dream world, this makes a lot of sense.
  • The Unreveal: Her segment of "Crunchy Dreams" isn’t actually her dream, but instead her going about her work day and getting scolded by her superior. At the end, she speaks to the player directly, dodging the question of if this is really her dream, and musing about whether or not her dreams would be located in the World of Dreams in the first place since she already lives there.

"I have a feeling it’s about to get interesting!"

”How about a bet?”
Class: Magic
Position: Middle
Skill: Mozzarella Master Plan
Released in: Version 4.13 (Goddess of Eternal Gold Part 2)

Carefree and calculating, Mozzarella Cookie watches over the Golden City from her Control Chamber, using the Marzipan Cookies to help keep an eye out for errors on the city streets. She has an affinity for betting, games, and anything unusual and exciting.

Mozzarella Cookie is a Magic Cookie positioned in the middle, and her skill is called Mozzarella Master Plan. She rings her bell to buff her allies and summon her Mozzarella Bird, which deals damage and leaves a Mozzarella Puddle. Enemies in the puddle have their movement and ATK SPD decreased.

  • Allergic to Routine: While she enjoys games with calculable odds, she's gotten so good at them that she finds their predictability boring. She also feels this way about life in general, and gets very excited when GingerBrave and his friends are put in the colosseum because of how unexpected their arrival was.
  • Battle Cry: "Time for some fun!"
  • Fake Defector: It at first appears that she's decided to side with Smoked Cheese Cookie against Golden Cheese Cookie in order to help him steal her Soul Jam, but towards the end of the episode she double-crosses him. While she agreed with his opinion that the kingdom needed to change and used the Marzipan Cookies to assist him, she also reveals that she gained his trust to keep an eye on him so she could form a backup plan in case his ambitions went too far.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: She's a programming whiz with her own Control Chamber who personally oversees and upgrades the Marzipan Cookies that patrol the city.
  • The Gambling Addict: She has an affinity for betting on things, especially if they're high stakes and unpredictable.
  • Mythical Motifs: Her horned headpiece alludes to Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of love, beauty, and fertility.
  • Playful Cat Smile: Her default expression is a cat smile to highlight her playful personality.
  • Prehensile Hair: Her hair is able to hold objects for her, such as her bell.
  • True Blue Femininity: She wears cyan eyeshadow and an equally cyan dress.

"Ancient relics await!"

”Archaeology is the study of our past!”
Class: Support
Position: Rear
Skill: Bat Attack
Released in: Version 4.13 (Goddess of Eternal Gold Part 2)

An enthusiastic archaeologist with an interest in ancient civilizations. She joins GingerBrave and friends on their quest to find the Golden Cheese Kingdom.

Olive Cookie is a Support Cookie positioned in the rear, and her skill is called Bat Attack. She briefly runs from the battle to fetch something, but returns being chased by bats and trips, causing the bats to fly over her and attack the enemies. There's a few different coloured bats that deliver various debuffs, and they all have a chance to stun targets.

  • Adventurer Archaeologist: Not to the degree of Adventurer Cookie, as she admits she's not even much of a runner, but she does assist GingerBrave and friends in fighting monsters and helping them out of danger while exploring the Golden Cheese Kingdom.
  • Blind Without 'Em: Her loading screen trivia says that she can't differentiate a Cookie and a Bear Jelly if she's not wearing her glasses.
  • Distaff Counterpart: Of Eclair Cookie, as they're both geeky non-fighters who wear green, wear some sort of eyepiece (glasses for her, monocle for Eclair) and love relics.
  • I'm a Doctor, Not a Placeholder: When selected, she will go "I'm a scholar, not a fighter!"
  • Mr. Exposition: She's the one who tells GingerBrave, and by extension the player, about the Golden Cheese Kingdom's history, and what happened to it and its people after the Dark Flour War.
  • Non-Action Guy: Unlike most cookies, she is not a fighter. Her skill is to basically run away from a fight before running back as a swarm of bats chase after her, the bats being the ones that attack the enemy.
  • Shovel Strike: She carries a shovel, which is what she used to fight the sandworms in World 17.
  • Tin-Can Telephone: She brings one of these along with her and describes it as being an advanced communication device. Turns out she's not lying, as GingerBrave is able to contact her with it even while he's stuck in the virtual Golden City.

Class: Support
Position: Rear
Skill: Paru-Paru-Parfait!★, Sweet Melody (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 1.9 (Soda Island Outlaws, second half)

A beautiful and lovely singer, she aspires to be one of the best in the cookie world. She juggles between two occupations of sandwich shop employee and music singer. When a rainstorm caused the cancelation of the musical performances of DJ Cookie and Rockstar Cookie during the music festival, Parfait Cookie took it upon herself to entertain GingerBrave and his friends with a song of her very own, shining her way through the heavy rain like a beacon of light!

Parfait Cookie is a Support Cookie placed in the rear, and her skill is called Paru-Paru-Parfait!★. When activated, Parfait Cookie grabs her microphone and starts singing her heart out, healing her allies over time. The party will also be treated to increased Defense and resistance to debuffs for a short time.

Her Magic Candy upgrades her skill to Sweet Melody. When she uses her skill, she and the Cookie with the highest ATK get the Paru-paru-parfait! buff as well as Debuff Immunity. When Cookies with this buff are healed above their Max HP, the extra healing is converted into an HP Shield. When Parfait Cookie is in the party, allies get an Increased Healing buff when landing critical hits. Upgrade the Magic Candy and her skill will do more healing overall.

  • Burger Fool: She works at a sandwich shop similar to the one Sandwich Cookie is employed to. Unlike Sandwich Cookie, she really doesn't like it.
  • Calling Your Attack: When using her skill, she sings out the line "Paru-Paru-Parfait!★"
  • Cute Oversized Sleeves: Her regular stage outfit and her two costumes have giant sleeves that highlight her cuteness, with Summer Soda Rock Fest revealing that she has a liking to them. This actually proves to be a huge benefit in the Jellypalooza event — her sleeves make it so that her hands don't get soggy from the rain. The Summer Soda Rock Fest reveals that she later learned how to actually play the guitar with those long sleeves on her and that she's so far the only cookie who can expertly do so.
  • Determinator: She’s willing to go to extreme lengths to get her music out there to the world. Even when the festival is canceled and almost everyone has left when the rain poured down, she still continues singing despite not being sure whether or not anyone is around. This helps earn her some new fans and later allows her to play in the Summer Soda Rock Fest.
  • Distaff Counterpart: Of Rockstar Cookie, being musicians with a rock theme.
  • Fashionable Asymmetry: She wears different shoes, a boot on her right and a pink slipper on her left.
  • Girlish Pigtails: She wears her hair in pigtails for her Black Cherry Rock costume.
  • Image Song: “Everything You Need,” sung by her voice actresses in English, Korean, and Japanese. for her debut, whereas she'll get "Sweet Serenade" for Summer Soda Rock Festa.
  • Pink Is Feminine: Has a bright pink palette scheme from her clothes to her guitar.
  • Please Subscribe to Our Channel: Some of her voice lines have her asking the player to like and subscribe to her, or to join her on her livestreams.
  • The Power of Rock: She's an up-and-coming rockstar who engages in combat by using her music to heal and buff others.
  • Singer-Songwriter: Writes her own songs and is literally called as such in her story.
  • She Cleans Up Nicely: Out of costume, she seems like a mediocre-looking nerdy girl you can find in any university with a big Nerd Glasses, messy hair, tired expression, and sloppy outfit. Just with some toppings on though and she becomes an adorable and colorful rockstar.
  • Shrinking Violet: She's shown to be like this in her event where she feels outshined by DJ Cookie. Yet when push comes to shove, she decides to go out no stage and sing her heart out.
  • Visual Pun: Her Black Cherry Rock costume has her put a cherry on top of her head as an accent.

"For the Order!"

”In the name of the Dough, the Oven, and the Witches…”
Class: Ranged
Position: Rear
Skill: Battle Prayer
Released in: Version 1.4 (Tiers of Chaos, first half)

A sister of the seemingly Holy Pastry Order, she wields a crossbow and is given the task of smiting evil. Sent on a mission to purge the Cake Monsters, a chance encounter with Red Velvet Cookie and Pomegranate Cookie was most unpleasant, to put it mildly. Returning in broken spirits after the shocking and disturbing realizations that she had been hit with during her mission, she is beginning to have second thoughts of being a member of the Order she served for so long, unaware of what The Reverend Mother is planning on doing to her!

Pastry Cookie is a Ranged Cookie placed in the rear, and her skill is called Battle Prayer. After a regular attack from her Fork of Judgement, Pastry Cookie fires a Lightbringer Arrow at the same target, which will ricochet and hit up to two other enemies. While Battle Prayer is active, Pastry Cookie’s regular attack Damage and Attack Speed are increased.

  • Break the Believer: The "Tower of Sweet Chaos" event seemingly just wants to enforce this on her. She witnesses humanity from someone she believed to be evil, Pomegranate Cookie lets her suffer from an illusion of herself calling her out for her doubt-ridden mind, then she gets a glimpse of her 'Gods' eating their own creations and Dark Enchantress Cookie’s birth from the downfall of White Lily Cookie - a fellow believer of Witches just like Pastry herself. When reporting the whole deal back to Reverend Mother Cookie, she sounds like she’s ready to burst into tears.
  • Church Militant: She serves at the Holy Pastry Order as a sister, and also a very adept fighter.
  • Evil Costume Switch: Her Shadow Sister costume's story states that she has become one of those who would protect the Tower of Sweet Chaos's secrets. "'Tis a sad, unfortunate day."
  • Good is Not Nice: Her devotion to serving justice is commendable and righteous, but it also resulted in her lacking in mercy towards those she deems as "sinful".
  • Heel Realization: In her report to Reverend Mother Cookie, she mentions that despite how she’s taught that the Cake Monsters deserve only the "final judgment", what she witnessed in the Tower were sentient Cake Monsters who could talk and had feelings just like Cookies. In other words, she realized instead of an enforcer of justice and clarity, she has been a mass murderer all along.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: One has to wonder why she and her order worship the Witches as gods, especially if you're even slightly aware of who the Witches are and what they do to Cookies (just ask GingerBrave), though this could be attributed to her basically being brainwashed by the Reverend Mother into doing so.
  • Meaningful Rename: "Pastry Cookie" isn't her original name, as her description mentions that she "left her name and past behind" when rebaked. She likely named herself after St. Pastry of the St. Pastry Order, perhaps as a way of claiming the saint as her patron.
  • Mind Rape: Pomegranate Cookie subjects her to this, which includes an illusion of herself questioning her faith and indirectly calling her an "impure" like those her Fork has slain.
  • Not a Morning Person: According to her exclusive loading screen, she is a sleepyhead and can't get out of bed in the morning. If the first episode of the "Tower of Sweet Chaos" event story is to believe, it’s because she usually spends all her night praying.
  • Perpetual Frowner: She looks perpetually peeved, to say the least. The only time she smiles is in her victory pose as she prays, and even then, it's very brief.
  • Sacred Bow and Arrows: Her Fork of Judgement takes the form of a crossbow, and fires arrows of light at her opponents. According to her, it is a consecrated weapon that cannot hurt innocent beings.

"The mighty forest keeper is here to protect the woods!"

”It's my first time outside the forest!”
Class: Bomber
Position: Front
Skill: Pinecone Bomb, Snowy Forest (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 3.11 (Stories by the Fireplace, second half)

A guardian of the forest who can speak with trees, Pinecone Cookie is learning about the outside world for the first time during the holiday season.

Pinecone Cookie is a Bomber Cookie placed in the front, and their skill is called Pinecone Bomb. Pinecone Cookie hops on a tree golem and heals both themselves and the two allies with the highest Attack, while also inceasing their own Max HP. They then throw Pinecone Bombs at the enemy Cookie with the highest Attack, dealing damage to nearby enemies as well. The area damage stuns enemies that are inflicted with Frost, and if a target is immune to stuns, they receive extra damage.

Their Magic Candy upgrades their skill to Snowy Forest. They now have their DEF, DMG Resist, and ATK SPD Debuff Resist increased while on their Tree Golem. After hopping off the golem, they gain an HP Shield. Level Up the Magic Candy to increase their ATK SPD on the Tree Golem.

  • Animal Motifs: Their features, stature, and squeaky voice all evoke the image of a squirrel.
  • Battle Cry: "Power of the forest!"
  • Commonality Connection: Becomes friends with Fig Cookie due to how they both love protecting the forests they love.
  • Cute Owl: An adorable white owl sits in their staff.
  • Family of Choice: They at first worry that they’re all alone since they don’t know if they have any blood relatives, but after Carol Cookie explains the concept of families brought together by fate, they decide to declare the animals and trees their family.
  • Happily Adopted: A loading quote reveals that they were left as a baby in the care of the pine golems.
  • Little Bit Beastly: They have squirrel ears and a tail.
  • Mechanically Unusual Fighter: A case similar to Caramel Arrow Cookie. Most Bomber Cookies are placed in the middle or the back of the party, but Pinecone Cookie is instead a front-liner.
  • Nature Hero: They are the self proclaimed “Guardian of the Forest”, who works to protect the trees and animals of the forest they call home. In fact, the forest is the only home they’ve ever known, and they much prefer the company of animals and trees to other Cookies.
  • Talking to Plants: They can speak with the trees in the forest they protect.

"Oooh... New friend... Want a shroomy?"

”Huh? Oh, the spores are whispering to me…”
Class: Bomber
Position: Middle
Skill: Poison Cloud
Released in: Version 1.0 (Launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom)

A goofy and zany cookie who just can't be evil for the life of them, they serve Dark Enchantress Cookie as a minion but is blissfully unaware of the chaos that ensues. They served as an adversary for GingerBrave and his friends during their adventures but also became friends with the innocent Fig Cookie. Unbeknownst to them, Licorice Cookie is completely frustrated with them and doesn't hold them in high regard, not that Poison Mushroom Cookie notices!

Poison Mushroom Cookie is a Bomber Cookie placed in the middle, and their skill is called Poison Cloud. Poison Mushroom Cookie throws out a bunch of shroomies that explode into poisonous clouds, poisoning enemies. Poisoned enemies take damage over time and get hit with a debuff that reduces their Healing. The poison clouds deal extra damage to non-Cookie enemies and bosses.

  • Battle Cry: "Have a shroomie!"
  • Breakout Character: They’re the third Cookie of Kingdom origin to be added to OvenBreak, being added in October 2022.
  • Brought to You by the Letter "S": In they're "Mushy P." outfit, they have a necklace with the letter "M".
  • Character Catchphrase: "Huuuh...?"
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Poison Mushroom Cookie is...not quite there, they don’t seem to be aware of their poisonous status nor of their surroundings, and they often talk in a very weird manner. That’s why you don’t bite strange mushrooms, kids.
  • Harmless Villain: Out of all servants of Darkness ever-present in the entire franchise, Poison Mushroom is least of a threat - not because they’re weak. They’re oblivious to their own wrongdoing and only fight for Pomegranate Cookie’s well-being or when told to; simply put it, they don’t have the talent or mental maturity to be evil. In "Operation Poison Mushroom" Bond, they are genuinely happy when picked up and given a ride by Fig Cookie to the point of forgetting the "evil" plan, completely unaware of Licorice Cookie’s frustration and the fact that he’s left behind.
  • Hidden Depths: Braver Together!! reveals that they can rap, and that they're actually pretty good at it (even if they are just rapping about wanting to share their shroomies).
  • Insult Backfire: When Licorice complained that Dark Choco Cookie was even slower than Poison Mushroom, they thought he was complimenting them for being fast.
Poison Mushroom Cookie: "Huuuh...? I’m fast!"
Licorice Cookie: "NO! It means you’re slow too!"
  • Morality Pet: They exist to show that the Cookies of Darkness aren't all bad guys.
    • OvenBreak shows that they're one of the only things that can get Pomegranate Cookie and Licorice Cookie to collaborate without insulting each other. They both make sure to keep an eye on Poison Mushroom Cookie in "Curse of the Sacred Forest" in an effort to keep them out of trouble, showing genuine concern for their safety, and they both have an Oh, Crap! moment when Poison Mushroom Cookie gets kidnapped by the Millennial Beast. Additionally, if you have Poison Mushroom Cookie's "Little Shroom Fairy" costume and poke them in the lobby, they'll mention that Pomegranate Cookie made them the outfit while Licorice Cookie gave them their wand.
    • In Kingdom, Red Velvet Cookie is willing to slice a cake they bought for everyone and Licorice and Pomegranate can put aside their differences to partake in it, while the "Holiday Express" event reveals Choco Werehound Brute wanted to write a Holiday card for them.
  • Mushroom Samba: Implied. Some of their quotes in the overworld have them asking why the sky is rotating or why everything is violet when those things clearly aren’t happening, suggesting that they have the hallucinogenic properties of some mushrooms as a side effect of being a mushroom themselves. They also (unknowingly) weaponize this at one point in Episode 10, when they give a shroomie to Pure Vanilla Cookie that causes him to see visions of the other Ancient Heroes being tied up and held captive.
  • Obliviously Evil: Claims they don't intend to poison people, and mostly seems to fight the party out of fondness for Pomegranate Cookie rather than any real malice.
  • Please, Don't Leave Me: A non-fatal example occurs in Chapter 14, where they beg Dark Choco not to leave them, asking who will eat their "shroomies". Given their Harmless Villain and Morality Pet status, they sound genuinely hurt by it too.
  • Poisonous Person: Whether or not they’re made of poison mushrooms is still up to debate, but it’s undeniable that they can dish out some dangerous poisonous bombs from mushrooms.
  • Stage Name: "Mushy P" in B.A.D 4.
  • Stealth Pun: Their mushroom theme and placement in the Bomber class is likely a nod to mushroom clouds.
  • Suddenly Voiced: They're the first and only Cookie to have voice acting for OvenBreak.
  • Talking to Plants: Claims to be able to speak with “the spores”.
  • Vocal Dissonance: The majority of the game's voiceovers make it apparent that Poison Mushroom is supposed to be a child. The German dub in particular, however, goes the opposite route, making them sound a lot more like a grown adult, the same with the English dub. The French dub does a bit of this too, making them sound more like some sort of creature than a regular kid.

"Magic, huh? Just another means to an end, don't you think?"

"Am I not the best potionmaker of all time?"
Class: Bomber
Position: Middle
Skill: Prune Juice Potion
Released in: Version 4.3

An expert in all things potions and poisons representing Parfaedia in the Triple Cone Cup.

Prune Juice Cookie is a Bomber Cookie placed in the middle, and his skill is called Prune Juice Potion. His regular attacks have him throw small potions at the farthest enemy, poisoning them and their nearby teammates. For his skill, he throws a giant bottle that inflicts Poison and Sticky Goo, boosts Poison damage, and summons Prune Jellies. These jellies spread a poisonous gas at certain intervals, are immune to periodic effects, and cannot be shielded or healed. The HP of these jellies is reduced by the number of hits.

  • Alchemy Is Magic: While he calls magic a "means to an end", his potions function as a classic explosive alchemical flask full of poisonous effects. Turns out this trope couldn't be further from the truth for him, since he's an Unsorcerer unable to do any actual magic, implied to be because of his frail dough. His potions are the only way he can show off his prowess as a wizard, and since he's Parfaedia's chosen champion he's clearly really good at it.
  • The Cameo: He makes a brief cameo in Legend of the Red Dragon. He’s just named as "Potion Merchant Cookie", and his face is partially covered by his hat and a scarf, but nothing is done to hide the fact that it’s clearly him.
  • Crazy-Prepared: Because he’s incapable of learning magic like his peers, he spends his time making potions for any situation so that he’ll always be prepared for whatever comes his way. For instance, during the last act of the Triple Cone Cup story, he came up with 412 possible scenarios that he and the other champions could run into and made a whole arsenal’s worth of potions so that they’d be ready for anything. It’s implied that he does all this so that other students will still respect him despite the fact that he can’t do any magic.
  • Dude Looks Like a Lady: His hairstyle and long robes make it easy to mistake him for female if you haven't heard him speak yet.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: It’s hard to tell since his eyes are almost always closed, but he’s one of the few non-coffee based Cookies with pupils.
  • Eyes Always Shut: His default expression.
  • Genre Savvy: In the second trial, he immediately recognizes it as a test that focuses on his insecurities without batting an eyelash.
  • Masculine, Feminine, Androgyne Trio: The Androgyne to Capsaicin Cookie's Masculine and Kouign-Amann Cookie's Feminine.
  • Meaningful Name: Prune juice is a laxative or poison used to cure stomach problems and constipation, but consuming too much of it would have adverse reactions to the body. Given that Prune Juice Cookie is a Bomber class cookie and uses poison, it's a somewhat fitting theme.
  • Poisonous Person: While he's not as malicious as some of the other Poison users in the game, Poison is still present in every aspect of his gameplay and skill.
  • The Strategist: Between the three Triple Cone champions, he’s the brains of the operation. For instance, the elaborate plan to defeat the Candy Golem in the labyrinth (which basically involved turning the labyrinth into a giant potion cauldron) was entirely his idea.
  • Un-Sorcerer: The Hall of Mirrors segment of the Triple Cone Cup story reveals that Prune Juice Cookie is entirely incapable of learning magic, hence his heavy reliance on his potions. This also explains the doubts that his fellow students have about him being Parfaedia’s representative, since he’s representing a school of magic while being unable to do any magic himself. It’s evidently a sore spot for him, as he stays shut in his room making potions after having to confront the moment he learned of it in the Hall of Mirrors.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: During the first round of the Triple Cone Cup, he uses a potion that makes his dough run cold and some fake jam to fake being gravely wounded in order to throw off his competitors. His deceptive tactic succeeds; he takes advantage of Capsaicin Cookie and Kouign-Amann Cookie’s panicking and calling for medical aid, lighting the flame blue and securing the win for Parfaedia while their backs are turned.

"We'll always be together, Pompon..."

”So many pretty clothes… I want them all.”
Class: Magic
Position: Middle
Skill: Pompon, help!
Released in: Version 2.3 (Halloween Masquerade)

A girl with a love of Halloween and a doll named Pompon that can turn into a large monster. She was released alongside the update that introduced Cookie Costumes.

Pumpkin Pie Cookie is a Magic Cookie placed in the middle, and her skill is called Pompon, help!. Pumpkin Pie Cookie’s doll companion, Pompon, grows to a monstrous size and strikes the ground, dealing area damage. Pompon’s attacks hit up to three targets at once, giving them a debuff that decreases their healing. Pompon is immune to most interrupting effects, and increases the Attack Speed of all summoned creatures on the field. When using Pompon, help! for the first time, the initial skill cooldown is greatly decreased, and Pompon’s immunity to interrupting effects becomes stronger.

  • A Girl and Her X: A girl and her terrifying sentient stuffed doll.
  • Ambiguous Situation: Her dream in "Crunchy Dreams" heavily implies that the thing possessing Pompom isn't her sister, but something even worse, if Devil Cookie's response is to recoil in horror.
  • Berserk Button: Hurt Pompon and you can kiss your life goodbye.
Pumpkin Pie: [Attack quote] You made Pompom MAD!
  • Companion Cube: Her doll, Pompon.
  • Creepy Doll: Pompon, particularly when it gets angry and gets sent out to defend Pumpkin Pie Cookie.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: She dresses in orange and black but she's a really sweet cookie who helps Strawberry open up for some fun on Halloween.
  • Dub Name Change: Pompon’s name is actually "Pippi" in the original Korean as well as the Japanese dub.
  • Elegant Gothic Lolita: Dresses in this manner. Her demure demeanor matches this aesthetic closely as well, amplifying the gloomy yet prim aesthetic of gothic lolita style.
  • Girls Love Stuffed Animals: She carries around a doll named Pompon which may or may not be a ghost.
  • Goth Girls Know Magic: A Perky Goth and member of the Magic class, although most of the “magic” seems to be Pompon’s rather than hers.
  • Holiday Motif: Halloween, her absolute favourite.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Pompon (or Pippi, depending on which language you're using), a haunted doll that can turn into a monster and act as an extra tank for the party.
    • Pumpkin Pie herself gets this too, in the form of little pumpkins that she throws at her opponents.
  • Mirror Character: To Onion Cookie; both are little girls who carry a doll and are associated with the supernatural. But Onion is timid while Pumpkin Pie is cheerful. Onion herself hates ghosts (and doesn't realize that she's dead), while Pumpkin Pie loves spooky stuff and her doll is a ghost.
  • Perky Goth: She dresses in a gothic lolita-esque outfit and loves all things Halloween and scary, but she's still a sweet kid.
  • The Scottish Trope: Her loading screen trivia states that "Pompon" is not her doll's real name, and that something horrible will happen if its real name is ever said. The "Crunchy Dreams" event implies that the real name is the name of Pumpkin Pie's older sister.
  • Soul Jar: Her dream in the "Crunchy Dream" event heavily implies that that her doll is hosting the soul of her older sister...maybe. Devil Cookie's reactions make it seem that it's something even worse disguised as Pumpkin Pie's sister
  • Squishy Wizard: She can summon Pompon to dish out some serious pain, but Pumpkin Pie is much more fragile than Pompon themselves.

"Fear the scarlet crest!"

”Losing is not an option.”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Raspberry Reprise
Released in: Version 2.0 (Heart of Courage and Passion, first half)

A swordswoman who fights to protect the Hollyberry Kingdom, her swordfighting styles make her one of the best that the noble House Raspberry has to offer. She originally attacked GingerBrave and his friends when she thought they were enemies, but quickly buried the hatchet and helped them in stopping Pitaya Dragon Cookie. She is also the cousin of Raspberry Mousse Cookie, given the similarities that they share with each other!

Raspberry Cookie is a Charge Cookie placed in the front, and her skill is called Raspberry Reprise. Raspberry Cookie unleashes a flurry of stabs on the enemy with the highest Attack. The final of these stabs does much more damage, and the skill lowers the target’s Attack. While her skill is active, Raspberry Cookie becomes resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Ambiguously Gay: In Knight Cookie's dream in "Crunchy Dreams", she wants to "win Princess Cookie's heart" and decides that the best way for that is to marry her to bring glory to House Raspberry. Either she'd marry anyone to regain honor or Knight Cookie is stressed over Princess Cookie never noticing his feelings for her.
  • Battle Cry: "It's over for you!"
  • Berserk Button: Just like her cousin, Raspberry Mousse Cookie, any insult to House Raspberry, real or imagined, is enough to make her challenge you to a duel.
  • Bifauxnen: She dresses in the mannish attire of a nobleman and fights like a knight. The only giveaway is her long, well-done hair, and that’s reluctant at most.
  • Classy Cravat: Wears one on her neck, befitting her noble status.
  • Connected All Along: The reason she and Raspberry Mousse Cookie share so many similarities (to the point of being mistaken for each other) is that they’re related as members of the same House Raspberry. A loading screen confirms they are cousins.
  • Distaff Counterpart: To Raspberry Mousse Cookie from Ovenbreak. Same ingredient, same pink color scheme, same fencing skills, and even the same skill name. Justified since they’re from the same House, so the way they were trained was likely similar.
  • Expy: Her pink hair, masculine appearance, her fighting style based on a knight and use of a rapier reflect that of Utena Tenjou although she's entering a Princess tournament, whereas Utena insists that she wants to be a prince.
  • Family Honor: Everything she does is for the sake of House Raspberry. In Knight Cookie's dream, she's even willing to marry Princess Cookie for it.
  • Mirror Character: To OvenBreak White Choco Cookie, as both are bifauxnen fencers based on the main characters of famous shoujo manga — Rose of Versailles for White Choco and Revolutionary Girl Utena for Raspberry — and are known to take their fighting seriously. Bonus points is that Princess Cookie is known to idolize both of them.
  • Pink Is Feminine: She's a noble swordswoman from House Raspberry and a contestant in the Hollyberry Kingdom's Princess Contest, and her colour palette is largely made up of pink.
  • Royal Rapier: Wields a rapier into battle and is darn good with it.
  • Serious Business: Dueling and fighting in general, as it is what her House is built upon. Princess Cookie’s passing comment about how she dislikes people fighting promptly angers the overhearing Raspberry Cookie.

"TO BATTLE!"

”This world belongs to everyone!”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Crimson Hand
Released in: Version 1.5 (Tiers of Chaos, second half)

A strange cake-cookie hybrid, Red Velvet Cookie can command the Cake Monsters to do his bidding. Pastry Cookie fought against him under the orders of the Holy Pastry Order, who have tasked her with destroying the Cake Monsters, but was about to discover that Red Velvet Cookie isn't exactly what he seems to be! He also has a soft spot for the Cake Hounds, particularly one he calls Chiffon.

Red Velvet Cookie is a Charge Cookie placed in the front, and his skill is called Crimson Hand. The size of Red Velvet Cookie’s blade allows his regular attack to hit two extra targets in addition to his primary one. For his skill, his Cake arm stretches out and grabs the enemy furthest at the back, then yanks them forward to do damage and stun them. The sheer force of the attack prevents it from being interrupted.

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Befitting his name, his dough is red.
  • Animal Motifs: Canines. He has a pet Cake Hound he calls Chiffon (along with him personally training the Cake Hounds), he is shocked when the heroes defeat the Cakeberus boss that he's introduced with in World 10, and his stage name as part of B.A.D 4 is HellHound.
  • Anti-Villain: He works for the Darkness but puts more mind in showing compassion to a Cake Hound even when Pastry Cookie is seconds away from killing him. Many of his quotes show that he just wants a world where every being is treated the same. He also is shown to be kind towards Poison Mushroom Cookie and befriends Werewolf Cookie.
  • Battle Cry: "I'll rip you to pieces!"
  • BFS: That serrated cleaver he wields seems to be as tall as him.
  • Black Eyes of Evil: One of his eyes is completely black with a single silt-shaped blue iris, but a flashback of his young self reveals that this was not always the case.
  • Catchphrase Insult: "Little nosy gnat". Sometimes.
  • Chewing the Scenery: Has one heck of a shout, befitting of someone who plays the role of a Drill Sergeant Nasty in Dark Enchantress Cookie’s forces.
  • Cool Mask: Dons a skull-like mask during activating his "Crimson Hand" Skill.
  • Cuteness Proximity: He's into dogs, like his beloved Cake Hound, Chiffon.
  • Don't You Dare Pity Me!: He brushes off any possible chance of mercy from Pastry Cookie, saying that he has no need for her sympathy and he himself is no different from the beasts she crushed.
  • Drill Sergeant Nasty: Not dressed like one, but some of his lines make him sound like a sergeant.
"Something troubling you? Drop and give me twenty!"
    "TEN-HUT! Salute to your commander!"
"MOVE, MOVE, MOVE! DO NOT GIVE IN TO FEAR!"
  • Dub Name Change: While having minor differences, in the original Korean he’s referred to as "Velvet Cake Cookie".
  • Eyepatch of Power: Wears an eyepatch over his black eye as part of his B.A.D 4 attire.
  • A Father to His Men: He's the only member of Dark Enchantress Cookie's group who has genuine respect for the Cake Monsters, particularly the Cake Hounds.
  • Good Hurts Evil: Pastry’s Fork of Judgement can damage him and cause him pain, which she explains that those arrows do not hurt innocent beings, but purges the 'impure' like him.
  • Kill Me Now, or Forever Stay Your Hand: Seeing that Pastry Cookie is hesitating due to his Pet the Dog moment, Red Velvet tells her to just shoot him and asks if her hesitation is because she saw a fellow Cookie in him, before immediately rejecting her possible sympathy. However, during the entire conversation, Pastry remains fully determined to kill him, only stopping briefly at the end to ask if her Gods created him imperfect like this.
  • Long-Haired Pretty Boy: He has garnered many fans due to his attractive design, and his hair is so long that it reaches the ground.
  • Microphone Swinging: As HellHound of B.A.D 4, he swaps his cleaver for a weaponized mic stand.
  • The Nicknamer: Calls Pomegranate Cookie "Crimson Priestess" and Pastry Cookie "nosy gnat". He also gives nicknames to the Cake Hounds (like Chiffon) and is quite proud of them.
  • Not Quite Cookie: He’s a Cookie born inside the same oven as the Cake Monsters and received a Cake Arm, which would make him half-monster in other Cookies’ eyes.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Literally. When Pastry Cookie is ready to deal the final blow on him, a Pet Cake Hound named Chiffon runs towards him, which he gently pets and reassures with no trace of his former ferocity. It is this gesture that makes Pastry Cookie hesitate, enabling Pomegranate Cookie to ambush her.
    • The December 2022 event has him handing Schwarzwalder a special butter cream bone treat as part of a gift exchange and he happily slices a cake Poison Mushroom bought from the Sugar Gnome Cake Shop.
    • He lets Werewolf Cookie join the picnic he made for him and Schwarzwalder, even giving him advice in that he doesn't need tons of friends to be happy.
  • Promoted to Playable: He made a minor appearance in World 10 and played a major antagonist role in the Tower of Sweet Chaos event before coming to the Special Gacha.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Has a soft spot for dogs, specifically the Cake Hounds, and even makes picnics.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: His color scheme is similar to Dark Enchantress's Cookies and the Cake Monsters. This may be a result of him being born at the same time and from the same oven as them.
  • The Right Hand of Doom: One of his arms is that of a Cake monster, and is much larger and more monstrous than his other arm. According to the Tower of Sweet Chaos story, it was Dark Enchantress Cookie who bestowed it upon him after she saw him missing the limb.
  • Rubber Man: His Cake Arm can extend to grasp the rearmost enemy, bring it in front of the Cookie squad, dealing great damage and stunning them for a short time.
  • Shear Menace: His "Cake Stylist" Costume swaps out his cleaver with a giant pair of scissors.
  • Shoot the Medic First: His skill grabs the rearmost enemy and stuns them for a lengthy duration, giving him this role in PVP, as most healers and supports are in the back.
  • Stage Name: As part of B.A.D 4, he goes by HellHound.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: He's definitely a no-nonsense Cookie when it comes to giving orders to Cake Monsters and unleashing chaos, but he actually has a soft side for his Pet Cake Hound "Chiffon" and the Cake Hounds in general.
"Oh, look at the time! Chiffon, c'mon boy! Time for a walk!"
  • Villain Has a Point:
    • He has a point in that the Cake Monsters are at worst mild nuisances and have done nothing to deserve their treatment by Cookiekind besides being a creation of Dark Enchantress Cookie. At least not from a gameplay point of view.
    • A more light-hearted one is how he tells Werewolf that he doesn't need lots of friends, but rather good ones to share juice with.
  • What Is Evil?: He laughs at Pastry’s Fork of Judgement for its so-called self-righteousness and declares that no one has the right to take the Cake Monsters’ life simply because they’re not as mentally developed as the Cookies, be it her or the Witches – the 'Gods' themselves.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Human?: Or Cookie in this case. He questions Pastry Cookie's desire to smite evil, especially since he has shown compassion to the Cake Hounds and she's quick to kill one.

"The dragon rider you've been waiting for has arrived!"

"They surely won't catch a dragon without the skills of a dragon rider!"
Class: Ambush
Position: Middle
Skill: Buttercream Blast
Released in: Version 4.5 (The Legend of the Red Dragon, first half)

A dragon rider accompanied by a dragon (actually a wyvern) named Buttercream. He joins Hollyberry Cookie and company on a quest to find the legendary Red Dragon (or at least whatever's imitating it).

Royal Margarine Cookie is an Ambush Cookie placed in the middle, and his skill is called Buttercream Blast. Hopping on his trusty dragon's back, he fires Buttercream Blasts three times at the three enemies with the highest ATK. These blasts deal damage, Poison the targets, and apply a DEF-decreasing debuff. Buttercream then charges forward to deal damage, and deals extra damage baed on the number of damage over time effects the enemies are currently dealing with. This skill targets bosses first, and he briefly becomes resistant to interrupting effects while using it.

  • Big Ego, Hidden Depths: He boasts at how he's a fearless dragon rider, but ultimately admits after drinking Fireade that it's not true and he's a fraud who is downright terrified of dragons.
  • Carpet of Virility: Has yellow swirls on his chest that allude to this.
  • Character Development: He starts out as a Fake Ultimate Hero, but gradually starts becoming a more courageous character who wishes to help fight off the Red Dragon. At the end of the storyline, he decides to head back to become a real Dragon Rider.
  • The Charmer: Charming, flirtatious and quite popular with Dragon City's female populace; his character description implies that most cookies don't pay attention to the fact that Buttercream isn't an actual dragon because Royal Margarine is good at using his charm as a distraction.
  • Chubby Chaser: He is a hopeless romantic towards Hollyberry Cookie, a Big Beautiful Woman monster hunter.
  • Conscience Makes You Go Back: Was ready to high-tail it out when the fake red dragon emerges, but seeing a little girl lost in the chaos makes him fly back to get her to safety.
  • Dragon Rider: His specialty, riding around on his dragon companion Buttercream. Downplayed however in that he's actually riding a wyvern, something that Hollyberry points out.
  • Fake Ultimate Hero: He is known as a renowned dragon rider in Dragon City and he is asked to join the dragon hunt because of that very reason. However, his supposed dragon Buttercream is actually a wyvern and he never finished his dragon riding training due to actually being terrified of dragons and wyverns (Buttercream being the only exception). That said, he does eventually join the dragon hunt and dedicates himself to actually becoming a dragon rider.
  • Heroes' Frontier Step: He admits that he is a coward and was ready to flee when the dragon struck, but he returns to save a little girl amongst the flames and uses it as motivation to join Hollyberry and Tarte Tatin to find the truth of the fake dragon.
Royal Margarine: Fighting tirelessly for what you believe in...I wanted to try that too, even if it's just once.
  • Hidden Depths: For all his talk of having a wyvern, he's not an official dragon rider. On his 12th birthday, he ran away from the wyverns he was supposed to tame and stumbled upon Buttercream by pure chance.
  • Insistent Terminology: His profile reveals that Buttercream is actually a wyvern — based on the fact that it only has two hind legs, but no fore legs — but most cookies don't pay attention to it because they're too smitten by Royal Margarine's charm. He himself nearly slips it out that Buttercream is a wyvern when he tries wooing Hollyberry.
  • In Vino Veritas: After getting smashed with fireade, he confesses that he's not joining the dragon hunt because he's not really a hero.
  • Ironic Fear: He boasts that he's a great dragon/wyvern rider, but he admits when drunk that he was scared of them when he was younger, with Buttercream being the only exception.
  • Last of His Kind: He is the last of the dragon riders.
  • Long-Haired Pretty Boy: His Noble Dragon Rider costume gives him hair long enough to be tied into a long ponytail and he is still as handsome as ever. The costume also removes his beard and scars, making him look less rugged and a bit more youthful.
  • Meaningful Name: Margarine is a type of butter substitute, which relates to how he's not a real dragon rider or hero at all and how his "dragon" is actually a wyvern. Moreover, margarine is made of unsaturated fats and are known to be bad for one's body and butter cream is also known to be quite fattening, which explains why Buttercream the wyvern deals poison damage.
  • Non-Action Guy: While he's capable of fighting in the game, The Legend of the Red Dragon has him mostly as reconnaissance or as a distraction.
  • Our Wyverns Are Different: Make no mistake, despite what Royal Margarine tells you, Buttercream is 100% a wyvern.
  • Proud Beauty: Enjoys flaunting his charming looks and dazzling smile. His Gacha animation displays this by having him "combing" his hair with a butter knife. However, his looks and smile are all to hide his insecurities that he can never be a great hero due to his crippling fear of wyverns and dragons.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: Has a pretty deep and smooth voice most of the time, but lets out quite the high-pitched shriek when Buttercream starts flying too fast for him.
  • What You Are in the Dark: He could've flown away from the rampage of the Red Dragon, but ends up returning to save a little girl who is looking for her mother.

"I bite hard and never let go."

”Don’t hold back for nothin’! YEEHAW!”
Class: Ranged
Position: Rear
Skill: Final Showdown, Best Shot in the Kingdom (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 1.0 (Launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom)
Designed by (Possibly): Artist G

This cowgirl is a bounty hunter who is one of the sharpest of sharpshooters in the wild west and is nicknamed The Wild Gun for a good reason! HEE-YAH!! She is on the never-ending warpath against Chili Pepper Cookie and is notorious for the door damages that she causes during her entrances! She ought to be paying for the door repair charges!

Rye Cookie is a Ranged Cookie placed in the rear, and her skill is called Final Showdown. Rye Cookie fires off several shots at the Cookie with the lowest Max HP, targeting enemy Cookies first. While her skill is active, Rye Cookie’s Attack Speed is increased and she becomes resistant to interrupting effects.

Her Magic Candy upgrades the skill from Final Showdown to Best Shot in the Kingdom. In addition to firing two extra shots and doing extra damage, Rye Cookie’s bullets now have a chance to set enemies on fire, regardless of if she’s using her skill or not. Level up her Magic Candy and her skill will increase the Attack Speed of her entire party.

  • Action Girl: She's known for being rough and tough, and has no patience for those she deems as "softies".
  • Big Entrance: According to the loading scene quote, Rye just can’t enter a room without kicking the door every time.
  • Bounty Hunter: Her profession. We see her in action during her quest to hunt down Chili Pepper for stealing her whole wheat silo.
  • Cowgirl: Has the Wild West appearance, the southern drawl, and the Guns Akimbo. Hell even her story section is written in a southern accent.
  • Grin of Audacity: Her sprite has her sporting a large grin as she begins to fire her guns at anyone who looks at her funny.
  • Guns Akimbo: She wields two guns simultaneously.
  • The Gunslinger: Wields a pair of pistols as her weapon of choice, and is known for being a good shot.
  • I Call It "Vera": Poking her in the overworld will have her say that her two guns have names, but we don't actually know what those names are.
  • Insult Backfire: In one of her idle quotes, Rye laughs off a comment about her being "too rough".
"I’m too rough? Well ain’t that the sweetest thing I’ve heard all day!"
  • It's Personal: Became a bounty hunter in the progress of hunting down Chili Pepper Cookie for stealing her wheat silo.
  • Lady Looks Like a Dude: You'd be forgiven for thinking that she is a man at first due to her rather masculine appearance.
  • More Dakka: Her signature ability, Final Showdown, unleashes a rapid barrage of bullets.
  • Out of Focus: Outside a storyline with Chili Pepper, she's has little to no focus compared to the other, more story-important Epic cookies that debuted in Kingdom's beginning.
  • Playing with Fire: Creating her Magic Candy upgrades her bullets to also inflict Burn.
  • Red Baron: “The Wild Gun”.
  • The Rival: To Chili Pepper Cookie. The feeling's mutual.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Of the playable Kingdom starting original cast, she’s the only female Cookie. That makes her no less badass, though. She was also the only female Cookie in Kingdom to have a Magic Candy in 2022.
  • Title Confusion: She was referred to as "Wheat Cookie" in some pre-release information, leading to some confusion about her real name before the proper release of the game.
  • Tomboyish Ponytail: She puts up her hair in a long ponytail, and has a personality not unlike that of a man.

"Want a taste of THIS hammer?"
Choco Werehound Princess

”Here comes the BRUTE!”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Choco Chip Hammer
Released in: Version 3.8 (Braver Together, first half)

A giant werehound with an equally big hammer and one of Licorice Cookie's loyal minions. In addition to being a playable unit, he's also story mode's first boss.

Schwarzwälder is a Charge unit placed at the front, and his skill is called Choco Chip Hammer. Schwarzwälder’s brute strength means his regular hammer strikes have a chance to stun his targets. When activating his skill, he lets out a howl and gains the Howling effect, raising his own Attack Speed and Damage Resist as well as his team’s Attack. When the effect ends, Schwarzwälder charges at the enemy team and smashes them with his hammer, stunning them and inflicting the Hammer Shock debuff. Hammer Shock lowers enemy Attack and causes them to take more damage from the next time Schwarzwälder strikes with his hammer during his skill. While his skill is active, Schwarzwälder will be resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Alien Blood: Holiday Express reveals that unlike Cookies who have Strawberry Jam in their veins, he has Cherry Jam. This gives Linzer Cookie a "Eureka!" Moment when she realizes Old Jolly didn't die because he's a Sugar Gnome and would've bled Cherry Jam, not Strawberry. What looked like blood was actually a slice of melted berry cake.
  • Battle Cry: "Brute Smash!"
  • Becoming the Mask: At the time the One-Year Anniversary Side Story of Hollyberry Kingdom comes around, he has gotten so into his role as "Choco Werehound Princess" that he just starts behaving more like a noble lady and engaging in high-class hobbies such as tea party or dancing, much to Licorice Cookie’s terror.
  • Berserk Button: When he passes the dance party contest, the other princess makes "sensitive" remarks of him, Choco Werehound tries to play along, but he gets overzealous enough to atack them with his hammer, which leads to him getting disqualified.
Choco Werehound Princess: Yes... Yes, yes! I, I got so far fair and square. Know that your insults will not make me turn back now...! And you won't be able to ridicule me once you get a taste of my HAMMER! BRING IT!
  • The Big Guy: Easily one of (if not) the biggest playable characters of the roster.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio: The Big to Licorice Cookie's Thin and Bat-Cat's Short.
  • Blood Knight: Will jump at the opportunity to smash anything that gets in his way with his hammer. He's also obsessed with getting stronger, particularly becoming stronger than Cookies.
  • Brains and Brawn: The Brawn to Bat-Cat’s Brains.
  • The Brute: Surprisingly deconstructed. While he is a Blood Knight who revels in his villainy and frequently boasts about how strong he is, he admits to having an internal crisis over whether he really is as villainous as he says. His obsession with getting stronger stems from a desire to leave his aristocratic past behind, and he seems to have a softer side that he usually keeps to himself.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: Schwarzwälder takes pride in his reputation as The Brute and a dangerous villain. When Macaroni Cookie reveals he's been under constant surveillance aboard the Holiday Express, he takes it as a compliment that he warranted such precautions.
  • Commonality Connection: He ends up connecting with Werewolf Cookie's desires for friendship but ends up pushing himself away from others due to his own fears.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Even he can't resist Chiffon's cuteness.
  • Do Not Call Me "Paul": Borders on Berserk Button territory, as he gets seriously mad at anyone who calls him Schwarzwälder. It's implied that he associates the name with his aristocratic past, which he's spent his life distancing himself from.
Cheddar Cheese Cookie: Schwarzwälder, is it? Stories of your... deeds are quite famous where I come from!
Schwarzwälder: Then perhaps you also heard that I DON'T LIKE TO BE CALLED BY THAT NAME?!
  • Dragged into Drag: He is forced to cross-dress and pose as "Choco Werehound Princess" in the Hollyberry Kingdom arc in order to attend the Princess Contest and steal the sacred shield. At first he shows embarrassment and breaks in his acting, but as the story goes on he starts to get into his role a bit too much.
  • Drink-Based Characterization: Downplayed. He's known to be a tea drinker, but he doesn't present himself as elegant or classy. This is due to him trying to shed his aristocratic background.
  • Dub Name Change: In Korean, his real name is Charles instead of Schwarzwälder. The Taiwanese, Thai, and Indonesian versions kept Charles, while French and German also went with Schwarzwälder. Meanwhile, in Japanese he’s Francois, in Portuguese he’s Martelão, and in Spanish he’s Don Carlos.
  • Dumb Muscle: Schwarzwälder is initially presented as being an empty-headed ruffian—lending well to his title of "brute" — which is especially apparent in regards to his rudimentary, incomplete way of speaking. After being playable, he ends up having a lot of depth to him.
  • Embarrassing First Name: Schwarzwälder is his real name, but he prefers to go by Choco Werehound Brutenote . He gets embarrassed when Licorice Cookie calls him by his real name.
  • Graceful Ladies Like Purple: As Choco Werehound Princess, he dons a purple gown and bows.
  • Gratuitous English: While "Bad and Dark" has English phrases peppered throughout its lyrics, the intro and outro specifically feature T.N.T speaking to the listener almost entirely in English.
  • Hidden Depths:
    • Seems like just a Dumb Muscle at first, but further interactions with his allies show him as one who possesses a sense of dignity and a desire for personal fulfillment, sensibly exclaiming to Licorice Cookie that he "has [a] private life too" and cannot always do whatever the Cookie wishes.
    • He's apparently raised as part of aristocracy, if his story is to go by.
    • According to his dream (the Cookies of Darkness school AU) in the second anniversary event, he's actually happy that Dark Choco was able to get out of the Cookies of Darkness, since he could clearly see how much he hated serving the darkness. His only regret is that he didn't try to reach out to Dark Choco more before he left.
  • Horns of Villainy: He's one of Licorice Cookie's minions and has a pair of large red horns.
  • Hulk Speak: Played straight for the most part, but inverted in Episodes 11 and 12 where he's seen speaking full, proper sentences while disguised as Choco Werehound Princess. As of his playable debut, this now seems to be averted entirely, as all of his quotes in the level screen and the overworld have him speaking full sentences.
  • I Hate Past Me: According to his story, the reason he's so secretive about his real name is because he associates it with his aristocratic upbringing, which is something he'd rather forget about.
  • Insult Backfire: When Macaroni Cookie notes how Choco Werehound Brute has quite a reputation, he's happy to know that he's seen as a bad guy.
  • It's All About Me: During the "Braver Together" movement, he is constantly hogging the spotlight and doesn't seem to pay attention to his other B.A.D 4 members also wanting to join in.
  • Microphone Swinging: The back of his hammer in his outfit as T.N.T of B.A.D 4 has a microphone on it.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: The first playable Kingdom character who isn't a Cookie.
  • Odd Name Out: Since he isn't a cookie like everyone else, his name doesn't have "Cookie" in it.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • In the Crunchy Spring Picnic event, he literally pets Chiffon and emphasizes with Werewolf Cookie's insecurities.
    • Holiday Express reveals that he was working on writing a Holiday card for Poison Mushroom Cookie.
  • Promoted to Playable: From Episode 1's Final Boss to a playable unit over a year and a half later.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: While he doesn’t admit it due to it clashing with his villainous image, he enjoys a good cup of tea. His loading screen trivia says that he often drinks it in private if Licorice Cookie and Bat-Cat are giving him a hard time. He also allows himself to join Red Velvet Cookie's picnic in Crunchy Spring Picnic.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Bright red eyes and a brutal fighter who enjoys smashing things.
  • Sore Loser: He doesn't take losses very gracefully and often goes through unfair measures to ensure his victory or spite those who have already defeated him, as do the rest of Licorice Cookie's gang.
  • Stage Name: He's called T.N.T as part of B.A.D 4.
  • Starter Villain Stays: He initially comes across as a tutorial boss for the game, but is later revealed to be part of the Cookies of Darkness and even became playable as of the BTS update.
  • Tough Spikes and Studs: He's a big tough cakehound and he wears a spiked collar in his B.A.D 4 attire.
  • Use Your Head: One of his attacks, Brutal Smash!, has him head-butt the Cookies with his rock-hard head.
  • Villains Out Shopping: He's shown in Holiday Express boarding the titular train and being civil with others.
  • Warm-Up Boss: The first ever boss in the game for GingerBrave and friends.

"One day, we all will become happy...!"

”Can you hear the silver bell ringing...?”
Class: Support
Position: Rear
Skill: Gleeful Chime
Released in: Version 5.0 (Secrets of the Silver Kingdom)

A devoted knight from the Faerie Kingdom. His delicate appearance hides his years of experience and the weight of his kingdom's many secrets.

Silverbell Cookie is a Support Cookie placed in the rear, and his skill is called Gleeful Chime. Silverbells bloom to heal the party overtime and provide a DMG Resist increase, and allies receive bonus healing based on the number of buffs they have. Enemies are damaged and gaiin Silverbell Pollen, which deals damage overtime. When the debuff is over, it deals damage in an area that stuns any targets inside.

  • Flower Motifs: Silverbells, as his name might imply.
  • Irony: That's clearly a longbow he's holding, yet he's not part of the Ranged class like previous archer Cookies. He is instead a Support Cookie.
  • Mirror Character: To OvenBreak's Lilybell Cookie. They're both youthful-looking floral Cookies from mystical forest areas, they work alongside a stoic staff-wielder (Mercurial Knight Cookie and Blue Lily Cookie), and they were both introduced in updates surrounding a story-important, high-rarity, plant-based Cookie (White Lily Cookie and Millennial Tree Cookie).
  • Older Than They Look: He looks young, but he's described as being a very experienced knight.

"Cookies are too weak. BORING!"

”Witness my cybernetic might!”
Class: Defense
Position: Front
Skill: Crepe Thrust, Crepe Energy Blast! (Magic Candy upgrade)
Released in: Version 1.3 (Lost Kingdom, second half)

An evil child who uses their creations to serve Dark Enchantress Cookie and cause chaos and destruction. They encountered GingerBrave and his friends a little while after the reawakening of the evil Dark Enchantress and tried to—well, you can see where this is going now, right?

Strawberry Crepe Cookie is a Defense Cookie placed in the rear, and their skill is called Crepe Thrust. Strawberry Crepe Cookie summons their giant crepe arms and attacks, dealing area damage. They also increase the Damage Resist of the two allies with the lowest Max HP, targeting allied Cookies first.

Their Magic Candy upgrades the skill to Crepe Energy Blast!. The skill now pushes enemies away, stunning them and reducing their movement speed, and applies DMG Resist and HP Shields to themselves and the two allies with the highest ATK. They'll then apply an extra DMG Resist buff based on their cooldown reduction. While using their skill, they briefly become resistant to interrupting effects. Level up the Magic Candy to increase the strength of the HP Shields.

  • All of the Other Reindeer: Their dream in "Crunchy Dreams" implies that they were always isolated and never had friends growing up, and this also caused them to be afraid of given affection as well.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: They say it in an inverted way after Chili Pepper Cookie calls their toys "scraps" in Land 9.
  • Badass Adorable: With their machinery.
  • Child Prodigy: Grew up with an army of wafflebots as a company, is a skilled roboticist, and has a massive pair of mechanical claws as their weapon of choice.
  • Constantly Curious: Has a set of idle quotes that are just them questioning things, such as how long it will take to liquefy a Sugar Gnome or the weight it takes to crumble Muscle Cookie. Yes, you notice the pattern: these questions are usually violent in nature.
  • Cute and Psycho: A very cutesy-looking cookie who joined Dark Enchantress Cookie’s Quirky Miniboss Squad because they genuinely believe in her cause. In their trailer, they even ask questions that are filled with poorly hidden murderous intent like “How much force would it take to crumble Muscle Cookie?” and “Can GingerBrave outrun a supersonic missile?”, all with a cheerful tone and genuine curiosity. They lose the "Psycho" part as part of Character Development.
  • Cute Kitten: Their Yogurt Phantom costume has them summon a pair of ghostly kittens in lieu of their usual crepe hands.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Their dreams in "Crunchy Dreams" reveals that they were always alone and isolated from others and was afraid of affection because of fear of being rejected.
  • A Day in the Limelight: The second half of the Cuckoo Town Square update puts a heavy focus on them. It gives them a Magic Candy and makes them the star of the Cake Shop event, which happens to be a tie-in for a real life collaboration with a Korean cafe that they were also the face of.
  • Enfant Terrible: A little kid who’s primarily enthralled by two things: building robots and hurting their fellow Cookies.
  • Fuzz Therapy: Black Raisin gives them a Raisin Crow for them to cuddle to help them fall asleep after having a nightmare.
  • Gold-Colored Superiority: Wears a golden robe and headpiece, while claiming to be smarter and stronger than other cookies.
  • Heel–Face Turn: After Dark Enchantress Cookie is ousted from the Vanilla Kingdom, Strawberry Crepe is left behind. The One Year Anniversary event shows that they're still in the Kingdom, mulling around and occassionally hanging out with Vanilla Cookie. While they still act like they don't care about Vanilla Cookie or his kindness towards them, the fact that they accept his invitation to dinner suggests that they're slowly coming around. By the time of the War Council, they’ve fully abandoned the darkness and joined up with the Vanilla Kingdom, though some of their more bratty ways haven’t quite subsided yet.
  • Human Popsicle: They say "I woke up from my cryobaking pod and the kingdom was completely empty! Even the king was gone. Do you know how BORING it was here?" in Land 9. It could only be assumed that "Cryobaking" is the Cookies' version of Cryonics. This could also imply Strawberry Crepe Cookie is a lot older- of course, chronologically speaking- than they look, considering they were aware of the kingdom having citizens before they all disappeared, and that disappearance being caused by the Dark Flour War, which is said to have ended a LONG time ago.
  • Insufferable Genius: One to rival Espresso once they’ve joined forces with the Vanilla Kingdom.
  • It's All About Me: They crave to be in the center of the spotlight and will take command of any cookie they see just to keep themselves entertained. They even joined Dark Enchantress Cookie's army just to do whatever they want.
  • Light Is Not Good: They are a very adorable Cookie with bright pink hair, bright-colored attire, a cute crepe cape that doesn’t look imposing (unlike Espresso’s or Madeleine’s), surrounded by Badass Adorable machinery. These details easily led to the belief that they would be allies with GingerBrave and his True Companions, but turns out they are a psychopath aligned with Dark Enchantress who has made themselves an enemy of GingerBrave and his friends.
  • Mirror Character: To Bell Pepper from OvenBreak as both of them are young kids who were raised by machines. But Bell Pepper is on the side of good and wishes to become a great robot mechanist while Strawberry Crepe doesn't care about morals and aligns themselves with the dark side before completing a Heel–Face Turn during Cookie Odyssey. Strawberry Crepe uses mechanical claws, Bell Pepper has a Mini-Mecha.
  • Not So Above It All: They're initially not interested in the Disney Cookies coming to visit, until Princess Cookie has them interact with Lilo and Stitch Cookie, particularly since the latter is an alien experiment with a hankering for tech. Strawberry Crepe Cookie is immediately on board with hanging out with them and showing off their Waffle Bots.
  • Pet the Dog: In "Stories from the Fireplace" they give gifts to Pure Vanilla, the villagers, Black Raisin and Espresso Cookie.
  • Reformed, but Not Tamed: They’re fully on the side of the Vanilla Kingdom by the first chapter of Cookie Odyssey, but their contempt for those they view as below them hasn’t waned in the slightest, as Clotted Cream Cookie can attest to.
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: Horribly subverted: They have fluffy pink hair, but are a borderline Enfant Terrible who regularly harasses and attacks Black Raisin Cookie’s village out of boredom. Even after being reformed, they aren't sugary sweet.

"I don't ride the wind, I cut right through it!"

"I wouldn't be standing here if it weren't for the Town Square!"
Class: Bomber
Position: Middle
Skill: Ride or Crumble
Released in: Version 5.3 (Come Together! Cuckoo Town Square, second half)

Known as the Spiky Tornado, she is a brooding, bike-riding protector of the Cuckoo Town Square and alleged leader of the Pointy Punks, a gang who enjoy causing mischief in the name of their boss. She seems like a troublemaker, but her intentions are more benevolent than what one may think.

Street Urchin Cookie is a Bomber Cookie positioned in the middle, and her skill is called Ride or Crumble. She charges into enemies on her bike, dealing damage and stunning them while dealing extra explosion damage to burning targets. Her CRIT% will increase and she'll also inflict both Burn and a debuff that amplifies fire-type damage. If she or one of her allies become Burned, her fire-type ATK damage is increased. While using her skill, she is briefly resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Badass Biker: She's an intimidating biker who rides a black and yellow shrimp-themed motorcycle known as the Black Tiger.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: She has a debt of gratitude towards the cookies in the Town Square for taking her in.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: She admits that she hit a low point in her life but then was graciously accepted by the Town Square.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: She wears black and has a brooding personality but she is quick to join forces with Caramel Choux Cookie to stop the Pointy Punks and sees herself as a protector from the shadows.
  • Delinquent Hair: She sports a spiky, punkish, two-toned hairstyle to go with her street hooligan aesthetic.
  • Dub Name Change: From Sea Urchin to Street Urchin, likely to take advantage of the Pun.
  • Establishing Character Moment: When she approaches Caramel Choux Cookie and learns what the Pointy Punks are doing in her name, she immediately states that she's not their boss and she is disgusted with this deliquency.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: She has sharp black pupils that both add to her intimidating appearance and make her stand out from the rest of the townsfolk who don't have them.
  • I Owe You My Life: She feels indebted to the people of the Town Square after they tended to her and gave her a home when she was injured as a child.
  • Misunderstood Loner with a Heart of Gold: Most Cookies don’t really get her, as she often seems like a brooding loner. Turns out she considers herself a silent protector of the streets, ensuring the town square that accepted her would be safe for everyone.
  • Playing with Fire: Her skill works best against targets who have been Burned, and she has the ability to inflict Burn herself.
  • Punny Name: She's a Street Urchin who lives in the alleys near the Pointy Punks, but she's also a street urchin since she and her "gang" are all based on sea urchins.
  • Red Baron: The Spiky Tornado.
  • Rural Gangsters: Subverted. The Pointy Punks talk about her like she's their boss and that their grand plan of taking the town square for themselves was her idea... but when she finds out about the plan, she tells them off for it and joins forces with Caramel Choux Cookie to stop them because it turns out she was never their boss in the first place.
  • Stop Worshipping Me: She's annoyed at how the Pointy Punks see her as their boss.
  • Street Urchin: Punny Name aside, she's an alley-dwelling biker who showed up to the square injured in the middle of the night and was shrouded in mystery and rumors from the other townsfolk. She considers the square her home since it took her in when she was at her lowest point.

"You cannot hunt dragons if you are afraid of them."

"A dragon's weakness is their arrogance."
Class: Ranged
Position: Rear
Skill: Cannonade
Released in: Version 4.6 (The Legend of the Red Dragon, second half)

A veteran monster hunter from Dragon City who has some history with Hollyberry Cookie. She joins her old friend on a hunt for the (false) Red Dragon.

Tarte Tatin Cookie is a Ranged Cookie placed in the rear, and her skill is called Cannonade. Her regular attacks reduce her skill cooldown and Shackle her targets after hitting them enough times. Her skill has her fire a giant cannonball at the center of the enemy team, inflicting Burn damage and doing extra damage to bosses. After using her skill enough times, she fires an enhanced cannonball. When she defeats an enemy or boss, her ATK increases, and while using her skill, she briefly becomes resistant to interrupting effects.

  • BFG: Wields a positively gigantic rocket launcher.
  • Cooldown Manipulation: She can shorten the cooldown of her skill by a couple seconds after a certain number of regular attacks.
  • Eyepatch of Power: A badass and experienced monster hunter who wears a patch over her left eye.
  • Fantastic Racism: She has no love for dragons and sees them as irredeemable monsters. However she has enough of a conscience to not kill Snapdragon, who is a baby.
  • Folk Hero: According to her loading screen trivia, more than half of the stories about dragons in Dragon City are about Tarte Tatin Cookie and her adventures in monster hunting.
  • Irony: She hunts dragons and yet Snapdragon Cookie imprints her as their mama.
  • I Call It "Vera": Downplayed. Her notes in Legend of the Red Dragon say that she does have a name for her cannon, but she doesn't tell anyone what it is.
  • Odd Name Out: Played with. While most of the Cookies named after French pastries have ties to the Créme Republic (Madeleine, Financier, Kouign-Amann, etc.), Tarte Tatin Cookie has nothing to do with the Republic at all, despite also being named after a French pastry.
  • Old Friend: She and Hollyberry Cookie apparently go way back, with Hollyberry Cookie knowing her since she was young, and Tarte Tatin Cookie being the only citizen of Dragon City to know what Hollyberry Cookie’s real name is.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: In an overworld interaction, Hollyberry Cookie reveals that during their first hunt together, Tarte Tatin Cookie's cannon recoil was so strong that it made her fall on her butt. Tarte Tatin is clearly pretending to not remember it.
  • Punny Name: In Korean, her name is written with the word "tatang" (타탕), which is both a transliteration of "tatin" and an onomatopeia for a "boom" or "bang" sound, as a punny reference to her BFG.
  • Red Is Heroic: Both her main outfit and costume hosts a lot of red, and she's a monster hunter.
  • Rugged Scar: Her face is visibly scarred under her eyepatch, highlighting her toughness.

"Never forget your oaths, young one."

”To battle, my fellow Cookies!”
Class: Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Battlemaster, Knight's Virtue (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 2.6 (War Under Shattered Skies)

The fabled Knight Commander of the Tea Leaf Order, a fearless hero whose glorious tale against dragons became a mere echo of the past after a tragedy. Now worn-out with regret, can the flame within his heart be lit up once more?

Tea Knight Cookie is a Charge Cookie placed at the front, and his skill is called Battlemaster. Targeting Cookies first, Tea Knight Cookie inflicts damage on the nearest enemy, and his inspirational leadership brings buffs for his allies; specifically, the two allies with the highest Attack and Critical Hit Rate get those respective stats increased. When an ally falls, Tea Knight Cookie gains the undispellable Wrath of the Commander effect. The effect stacks up to four times (once for each fallen ally) and increases Tea Knight Cookie’s Attack and Attack Speed. The fourth of these stacks gives him a far greater power boost than the first three, as well as making him resistant to interrupting effects.

His Magic Candy upgrades his skill to Knight's Virtue. When an ally falls, Tea Knight Cookie now gains two stacks of Commander's Wrath, and when he uses his skill, he deals True Damage based on his target's Max HP and stuns them. If the target can't be stunned, they take extra damage. When the target falls, the skill's cooldown decreases and Tea Knight Cookie recovers some HP. While using his skill, he will briefly become reistant to interrupting effects. Level up the Magic Candy to increase damage from his regular attacks while his skill is active; if the target is a Cookie, this damage is True Damage.

  • Achilles' Heel: Cookies that specialize in quickly taking out the frontline (Caramel Arrow and Sorbet Shark) are his bane. After all, you can't exactly avenge your fallen allies if you died first.
  • And Your Reward Is Clothes: Clearing Wave 60 of Cookie Alliance for the first time gives you a special costume for Tea Knight Cookie called "Golden Battlemaster".
  • Badass Cape: Has one as part of his armor.
  • Baritone of Strength: He shares this with Dark Cacao and Dark Choco Cookie; they are all powerful warriors with incredible swordsmanship skills.
  • Battle Cry: "I shall keep my oath!"
  • Big Damn Hero: He comes to the rescue of Cream Puff Cookie’s unit in Episode 7 of The Expedition to Protect Earthbread event story when they’re overwhelmed by the amount of enemies. With his experience in battle, he quickly arranges a strategy and team formation to corner the Greenish Red Dragon and force it to retreat.
  • Bling of War: His costume, after a player defeats 60 waves in the Guild Alliance, is a set of golden armor.
  • Charles Atlas Superpower: He chopped down a giant tree that caused the whole ground to shake like an earthquake, and yet seems barely bothered by it.
  • Cool Helmet: His armor comes with a badass helmet that he wears into battles.
  • *Crack!* "Oh, My Back!": In episode three of Last Cookie Standing, Tea Knight Cookie throws his back out just as he was about to land a devastating attack against Team Crispy. He's voted off the Team in episode four because of his poor health and his stubborn attempt to keep shouldering the burden despite it.
  • Critical Status Buff: Whenever an allied Cookie is defeated, the Wrath of the Commander effect of his skill is triggered, giving him a significant boost in attack and attack speed stat. "Insignia of the Indomitable Knights", the treasure based after him and the Tea Leaf Knights, also restores some HP of all remaining Cookies whenever an ally Cookie falls, and if the last surviving Cookie is about to be defeated, they will become invincible for several seconds before they fall.
  • The Dragonslayer: He once led an order of knights to defeat dragons that were ravaging Earthbread, and still regards dragons as the greatest enemy of cookiekind.
  • Dub Name Change: In Korean, his name is "Ceylon Knight Cookie". The English translation however settled for the "Tea Knight Cookie" that we know now.
  • Heroic Build: His physique rivals that of Muscle Cookie, and he’s a knight who fights to protect other Cookies from the destructive dragons.
  • Heroic Self-Deprecation: He doesn’t think that he’s a great warrior worthy of protecting anyone anymore, and asks Cream Puff Cookie to not waste her breath on "a sad old Cookie".
  • The Juggernaut: If he's the only Cookie left standing when his skill is active, he becomes this, gaining a humongous boost to his damage output and attack speed to try and take out whatever's left of the opposition.
  • Keep the Reward: The relic Tea Leaf Knight Helmet reveals that he was offered a title and land by Hollyberry Cookie in reward for defeating a dangerous dragon, but he left behind all the comfort and spoils to save more Cookies with his comrades.
"They offered me noble titles, but I never craved for fame."
  • Knight in Shining Armor: A much more rugged example than Knight Cookie or Madeleine Cookie, but still a textbook example nonetheless.
  • Manly Facial Hair: One of the most rugged and manly cookies in the game who sports an all white beard.
  • Retired Badass: By the time Cream Puff Cookie met him, he had gone into hiding for a long time, being unable to carry on with the pain on his shoulders after the Tea Leaf Order was disbanded because they lost all of the members (except Tea Knight Cookie himself) in a massacre from a dragon.
  • Rugged Scar: A cross shaped one right on his face.
  • Ship Tease: He has quite a bit of it with his Fanboy Eclair Cookie. While the jury’s out on just how much of Eclair’s swooning is reciprocated, they generally make appearances post-debut as a pair, and the bond story added as part of the Holiday 2022 events heavily implies that the two of them live together.
  • Situational Sword: In World Exploration, Tea Knight Cookie is an average Cookie at best. Guild Battles and the Arena are where he shines best, as casualties are generally less avoidable in those modes.
  • Sole Survivor: He was the only one survived the massacre that took the life of the whole Tea Leaf Order. The sorrow and regret eventually became so unbearable that he hid himself away from the world, willing to be forgotten.
  • Taking You with Me: Implied to be the case with his skill, where he becomes an absurd powerhouse when all of his allies have been knocked out, to try and take down whoever's left standing as a last resort.
  • That Man Is Dead: When asked to join in protecting the cookiekind from dragons once again, he brushes off the offer, stating that he has ceased to be the warrior people are looking for.
Tea Knight Cookie: "The great warrior you’re looking for is long gone..."

"Ha... ha ha! HA HA! HA HA HA! Who's next?!"

”C’mon, C’MON! It’s time for MAYHEM!”
Class: Ranged
Position: Rear
Skill: Twizzly Beam
Released in: Version 2.2 (Interdimensional Super Mayhem)

The self proclaimed "galaxy's greatest criminal," Twizzly Gummy Cookie is a dimension hopping thief armed with a gatling gun. She leads a gang of Evil Counterpart cookies and lives for causing chaos. During the wraparound story of the Interdimensional Super Mayhem event, she sought to conquer the Cookie World with her gang, only to find herself being fought against Mala Sauce Cookie and GingerBrave and his friends. Luckily for our heroes, the battle ended on a high note for them when Croissant Cookie came to the rescue and arrested Twizzly Gummy Cookie and her gang at the end of the event's story.

Twizzly Gummy Cookie is a Ranged Cookie placed in the rear, and her skill is called Twizzly Beam. Twizzly Gummy Cookie charges up her Electrojelly Gun and fires a powerful laser beam. In addition to doing damage, this increases her own Critical Hit Damage and inflicts enemies with Zapped, dealing damage over time and disrupting HP Shields. While charging her laser, Twizzly Gummy Cookie becomes resistant to interrupting effects.

  • Anti-Armor: The Zapped debuff her skill applies temporarily disrupts HP Shields, allowing her to pierce through the defense of Barrier Warrior enemies and Cookies like Pure Vanilla Cookie.
  • Arch-Enemy: She's this to Croissant Cookie and the TBD as she's the one who stole tech from them.
  • Arc Villainess: Plays a lead antagonistic role in the Interdimensional Super Mayhem story, and is responsible for causing havoc and bedlam through several universes and dimensions with her band of misfits.
  • Ax-Crazy: Easily one of (if not) the most off-their-rocker characters of the lineup. Her story describes battle and bedlam as just a game to her, and that she goes around destroying planets and causing chaos purely for the thrill of it.
  • Battle Cry: "Game Over! Hahaha!"
  • BFG: Her Electrojelly Gun is a large gatling gun that’s at least half as tall as she is.
  • Bland-Name Product: The "Twizzly Gummies" are Twizzlers candy.
  • Chewing the Scenery: You can clearly tell the voice actors are having the time of their lives when voicing her, given her constant screeching and maniacal laughter.
  • Covered with Scars: Has a large scar over her right eye and another on her left arm.
  • Evil Counterpart: Not herself, but her gang, which consists of evil versions of Strawberry, Mint Choco, Avocado, and Carrot.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: Her right eye has the outline for an iris and a blue star-shaped pupil.
  • Expy: Her design, color scheme, signature gatling gun, and love of mayhem brings to mind Jinx from League of Legends.
  • Eyepatch of Power: Her left eye is covered by a black eyepatch decorated with pink stars.
  • Gatling Good: Her weapon of choice.
  • Laughing Mad: Shrieks with crazy cackling in almost every one of her lines.
  • Mad Bomber: One of her lines in the level-up screen has her saying she wants to blow things up.
  • Mirror Character: Could be one to String Gummy Cookie of OvenBreak. They’re both cookies made from gummies who wield firearms, and while String Gummy wants to destroy Croissant Cookie’s time jumping devices to fix their timeline, Twizzly Gummy is a dimension hopper that lives to cause chaos wherever she goes, and teaches the player how to use eerily similar time jumping devices.
  • No Indoor Voice: Half of her lines have her yelling something or laughing maniacally.
  • Pet the Dog: In the Stories from the Fireplace storyline, she's seen celebrating the holidays with her gang.
  • Psycho Electro: Uses electricity in her attacks and is definently off her rocker.
  • Scary Teeth: Her gacha illustration (see right) depicted her with these upon release, likely to compliment her menacing appearance. Sometime after her release, however, this was changed.
  • Thrill Seeker: She’ll do pretty much anything if she can get an adrenaline rush out of it, no matter how illegal or destructive it is.
  • Wave-Motion Gun: Her special fires one from her gatling gun.

"For the Hollyberry Kingdom!"

”Hollyberry Cookie is under my protection.”
Class: Defense
Position: Front
Skill: Wild Punch, Royal Bodyguard (Magic Candy Upgrade)
Released in: Version 3.0 (The Council of Heroes, first half)

An ardently loyal follower of Hollyberry Cookie who wields a gauntlet, dedicated to protecting his kingdom and its queen no matter what.

Wildberry Cookie is a Defense Cookie placed at the front, and his skill is called Wild Punch. Using his Super-Strength and heavy gauntlet, Wildberry Cookie’s regular attacks knock enemies back a short distance. Using his skill activates his Battle Rage mode that strengthens his regular attacks, knocking enemies back further and stunning them, plus doing extra damage to enemies that are Knockback resistant. Wildberry Cookie’s teammates also gain extra Damage Resist while Battle Rage mode is active. The meat of Battle Rage mode, however, is the Wild buff, which stacks every time Wildberry Cookie takes a hit and cannot be dispelled. At the end of Battle Rage mode, Wildberry Cookie deals an uppercut and final blow, which will stun enemies and do extra damage based on how many stacks of the Wild buff Wildberry Cookie has accumulated. Because of his large size, he is resistant to Knockback and Flying, and while dealing Wild Punch’s finisher, he becomes resistant to interrupting effects.

His Magic Candy upgrades his skill to Royal Bodyguard. He now grants an HP Shield to the whole party, and his final blow is stronger. Level up the Magic Candy to increase your allies' CRIT Resist.

  • Badass Cape: He wears a bright red cape draped over his right shoulder.
  • Battle Cry: "Take this!"
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: He is indebted and vows to protect Hollyberry Cookie with his life, as the queen herself helped him during his years when he was still ravaging the streets and treated him with love and kindness as if he was a part of her family.
  • Beleaguered Assistant: He’s supposed to be Hollyberry Cookie’s bodyguard, but a majority of time his job is just preventing her from drinking excessively. Which he fails a lot.
  • The Big Guy: Even his skill description calls him large, and says that he’s more resistant against knockback and flying because of it.
  • Big Guy, Little Guy: The Big Guy to Crunchy Chip Cookie's Little Guy.
  • Bodyguarding a Badass: Hollyberry Cookie is an ancient hero who can go one-on-one with a dragon, and he’s her knight. Even the queen mentions how she’s fine on her own and only brings him along because her daughter-in-law Jungleberry Cookie insisted.
  • Cannot Tell a Joke: While he enjoys jokes from the likes of Avocado Cookie, he admits that he's not good at telling them himself.
  • Curtains Match the Window: His hair and eyes are the same shade of hot pink.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: While he and Crunchy Chip Cookie occasionally butted heads at the beginning of Cookie Odyssey, their time together in the Créme Republic (which included a lot of battling) turned them into an incredibly close pair.
  • Gathering Steam: Essentially how his Battle Rage mode works; he spends time tanking hits to gain stacks of the Wild buff in order to have a more powerful final blow.
  • Giver of Lame Names: Pitaya Dragon Cookie is not fond of the alternate names he tries to give them ("Mottled Tropical Cocktail Cookie" and "Polka-Dotted Fruit Cookie", with the latter being a bit more mocking than the former). Wildberry Cookie, on the other hand, thinks his naming skills are perfectly fine, since it's much more creative than Hollyberry calling them Pitaya Cookie.
  • Ironic Fear: He's one of the tallest Cookies but he admits that he's afraid of heights.
  • Malicious Slander: His story mentions that he’s regularly the subject of “insidious whispers” claiming that he regularly resorts to violence to solve his problems, but the very same line says that the rumors couldn’t be farther from the truth.
  • Mythical Motifs: His Hero Blessed by the Stars costume is based on Hercules of Greek mythology — specifically the constellation named after him.
  • One-Steve Limit: Averted. When announced, he shared his name with one of Twizzly Gummy Cookie's gang-mates from the Interdimensional Super Mayhem event. Come his inclusion to the game, and the NPC had her name changed to Wild Strawberry Cookie.
  • Power Fist: His weapon is a large and heavy gauntlet that he wears on his right arm. While Odyssey reveals that he’s strong enough to fight just fine without it, he prefers using it as it feels more natural to him.
  • Red Is Heroic: He wears a crimson cape and he's a heroic defender.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni:
    • The stoic defender compared to the wild savage-ness of Crunchy Chip Cookie.
    • Also the stoic and sane blue to the jovial battle-ready and hard drinking Hollyberry.
  • Stealth Pun: He's made from berries, which are fruits, and his weapon of choice is a Power Fist. Fruit punch.
  • The Stoic: Largely this, as he speaks with a flat tone of voice and rarely cracks a smile. He becomes a lot more Hot-Blooded and shouty when he’s in a fight, however.
Wildberry Cookie, after winning a battle: NEXT!! (beat) Oh… we are done here.
  • Street Urchin: He used to live on ramshackle alleys of the Hollyberry capital until Hollyberry Cookie offered him a helping hand.
  • Super-Strength: Able to carry both Crunchy Chip Cookie and his cream wolf with little to no effort. When Crunchy Chip Cookie finds Wildberry Cookie's gauntlet lying on the ground and vows to find him and return it, he's surprised at how heavy it is, and wonders how Wildberry Cookie is able to lift it so effortlessly.
  • The Teetotaler: Has multiple lines where he says that although he’s Hollyberrian, he’s not a fan of berry juice.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: One-sided on his part. In Legend of the Red Dragon, he is not willing to team with Pitaya Dragon Cookie, even though Hollyberry is jovial about it.
  • [Verb] This!: When unleashing his skill in battle, he roars "TASTE THIS!"
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: He admits that he's terrified of heights during the Cookie Odyssey event.
