    John Constantine

Species: Empowered human

Affiliations: The Newcastle Crew, Team Constantine, Team Arrow, The Legends.

Played by: Matt Ryan

Appearances: Constantine | Arrow | Legends of Tomorrow

"My name is John Constantine. I am the one who steps from the shadows, all trench coat and arrogance. I'll drive your demons away, kick 'em in the bullocks, and spit on them when they're down, leaving only a nod and a wink and a wisecrack. I walk my path alone because, let's be honest... who would be crazy enough to walk it with me?"

John is an Exorcist, Demonologist and Master (''Petty Dabbler'': he's getting new cards made) of the Dark Arts. All trench coat and arrogance, John is the mystical "jackass-of-all-trades" you call when you want some supernatural evil killed or general protection from the forces of darkness.

  • Abusive Dad: His father would hit him when he was drunk as well as put out cigarettes on his skin, and never passed on an opportunity to call him "killer" since his mother died in childbirth.

  • Anti-Hero: He's an asshole who doesn't shy away from doing very questionable things, but he is truly trying to make a difference in the world.

  • Berserk Button: Any mention of the incident in Newcastle, or anything about Jupiter, his daughter, and he finds himself Suddenly Shouting!.

  • Friend to All Children: Despite his snarky attitude, John's fond of children and is usually nicer to them then to adults.

  • In the Blood: He comes from a long line of sorcerers.

  • Large Ham: The accent and the delivery of his lines will make it hard for you to not notice him.

  • Mr. Fanservice: Blond, stubbly, tattooed, aloof, and frequently shirtless. Also, that accent.

  • Occult Detective: A practitioner of the occult who is generally called in to investigate incidents involving the supernatural.

     Christopher Constantine

Species: Empowered human

Affiliations: Team Constantine

Played by: Chris Wood

The son of John Constantine and his right hand. He also happens to be the son of Anne Marie Flynn.

     Jupiter Constantine

Species: Empowered human

Affiliations: Team Constantine

Played by: Summer Fontana

Jupiter is the daughter of John Constantine and Anne Marie Flynn. However, she was created by Satanand it's her destiny to become the Anti-Christ or is it?

  • Anti-Anti-Christ: She's the daughter of Satan and her role is to bring about the end of the world. Though she comes dangerously close to fulfilling her role and giving in to her Antichrist powers, it's only because she'd learned how people were damaging the earth and she'd thought destroying everyone except for the people closest to her would fix it. In the end, she refuses to destroy the world and plays the trope straight

  • Calling the Old Man Out: When Satan, Jupiter's creator, shows up in person and demands that Jupiter fulfills her role as the Antichrist and end the world, Jupiter refuses. In her words, Satan isn't her real dad since he was never around to raise her (unlike her earthly father John), so there's no reason to listen to Satan anyway.

  • My God, What Have I Done?: Her realization that her friends are terrified of her and they don't want to spend time with her anymore makes her realize how she's gone too far and she feels awful, almost immediately making amends with them.

  • Power Floats: When she starts fully giving in to her powers, she floats a few feet above the ground and eventually rises even higher into the sky.

  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: When she taps into her powers of the Antichrist, her eyes turn red with black stars as pupils.

  • Reality Warper: She has the ability to bend reality to her will, creating whatever she desires.

  • Happily Adopted: She's happy with the father who raised her and refuses to destroy the world as Satan wants her to.
  • Badass Adorable: She is a very sweet who is a powerful and skilled witch.
  • Bully Hunter: It doesn't matter if they're mortal Jerk Jock bullies or the Alpha Bitch, Jupiter will use her magic to bring them down.
  • The Chosen One: It is mentioned repeatedly that Satan believes Jupiter will become one of the greatest witches in history.
  • Wrong Context Magic: After tapping into her her Antichrist powers, Jupiter gains the ability to do things that simply aren't possible with Witch magic, like controlling the weather purely by willing it do so and immediately transporting objects over great distances.

     Satan

Species: Demon

Played by: Beau Daniels

The first angel to fall from God's Grace.

  • Fallen Angel: The first one to fall in fact.
  • Wound That Will Not Heal: In his true form, he has two large wounds in his back where his wings were ripped out. These wounds are permanently open.
  • I Have Many Names: Although he is most commonly referred as “the Dark Lord”, he also goes by Satan, Lucifer Morningstar, The Devil and the Son of Dawn at various points.
  • Disappeared Dad: Gave Jupiter away when she was a baby and expects his daughter to fulfill her role as the Antichrist. In the finale, Jupiter rejects this, stating that she considers John Constantine the man who actually was there for her, her true father.
  • The Worf Effect: It truly says something about how powerful Jupiter is where she basically waves her hand and makes Satan turn to dust when he rises out of the Earth to attack them.
  • You're Not My Father: How Jupiter ultimately rejects him and uses her Reality Warping Powers to send Satan away while John arrives at the airbase instead.
