Kisaragi Corporation

The Nebulous Evil Organisation that has taken over Earth and is looking for other worlds to conquer.

    General Tropes
  • Big Bad Duumvirate: Kisaragi is jointly run by three "Supreme Leaders", Astaroth, Belial and Lilith.
  • Captain Ersatz: They're a pretty obvious homage to Shocker. They even had a Noodle Incident involving a grasshopper monster in the past, just as a starter.
  • Evil, Inc.: Their organization has the structural trappings of a business corporation, but with private armies and superweapons to conquer the world.
  • A Father to His Men: Astaroth and Belial value their workers highly. Lilith, not so much.
  • Good Behavior Points: The Evil Point System is very much a part of the story background. Members of Kisaragi get Evil Points for doing bad deeds and lose them for good ones or for embarrassing the organization. The point award is based on the distress felt by the victim and the guilt felt by the evildoer. Such points can be spent to obtain things. If you fall into a negative total you have to worry about a visit from the Retribution Squad and nobody wants to know what it is that they will do. One gets the impression that this system was put into place because the Supreme Leaders feared that everyone in the organization, including themselves, would do a heel-face turn en masse if such a system were not in place.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: Kisaragi has its eye on the bigger picture - a world that is consumed with global crises that can cause extinction - and seeks to take over the world to enable global stability and order.
  • Hero Killer: Kisaragi has successfully conquered the world and now dealing with La Résistance. To have reached this point, many "Warriors of Justice" have fallen to them. Six even claims he's taken out a few of them on his own.
  • MegaCorp: They are a corporation that has become the de facto rulers of Earth.
  • Punny Name: "Kisaragi" means "wear more clothes", referring to how two of its Supreme Leaders wear skimpy outfits.
  • Take Over the World: They more-or-less already have. They still have to deal with heroes and La Résistance, but the Kisaragi Corporation is still the ones in control. The reason that their leaders send Agent Six out is because they want even more worlds to conquer.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Kisaragi wants to conquer the Earth to save it from overpopulation, environmental collapse, and resource depletion.

    Combat Agent Six

Voiced by: Yusuke Shirai (Japanese), Brendan Blaber (English), Emmanuel Bernal (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/com6.png
A combat agent sent to scout out a new world for Kisaragi to conquer.
  • Almighty Janitor: Six is just a lowly run-of-the-mill Combatant with outdated cybernetic enhancements and power armor, but he's still strong enough to fight on the front lines against entire Sentai teams on his own. He's also one of the first members of Kisaragi, and knows the Supreme Lords on a personal level. It's hinted that one of the reasons why he's not already a Supreme Lord himself is because he's just too kind-hearted to commit truly evil acts. The real reason he was chosen to prepare the invasion of the other world is for him to gain enough achievements to promote him into one without giving the impression of favoritism. In Volume 4, Lilith the Dark outright states that by sending Six into so harsh an environment as the planet he's on, hopefully he'd turn into a "proper" villain that they could promote to their ranks instead of remaining a halfway-decent person deep down.
  • Bigger Is Better in Bed: The size of his manhood leaves the girls who see it in awe, especially Grimm who openly stares.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: Is immediately attracted to incredibly endowed women such as Belial, Snow, and Heine. Astaroth also falls into this category, though he secretly notes to himself that When She Smiles, Astaroth becomes a clear cut above the rest.
  • Captain Ersatz: His design calls to mind the original design of the Shocker Combatants in Kamen Rider, an all-black headless bodysuit, minus the beret.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: Six is an outright sexual deviant. He keeps making blunt remarks about the physical attributes of the women he meets, showing grievance with not getting any Accidental Pervert moments, sometimes stripping and groping his teammates (namely Snow) to earn Evil Points, and earning more with making degrading jokes about his Gag Penis. Despite this, he does have some lines he won't cross. And behind it all, he's a Minion with an F in Evil and a Hidden Heart of Gold.
  • Combat Pragmatist: He's the best in the trade at going for the quickest and easiest solution to victory, never mind if it’s not honorable or noble. When fighting against Snow, knowing that she had him outmatched, Six just grabbed her boobs. This ended up making Snow so flustered that she couldn't focus and just randomly flailed her sword at him.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Six constantly acts like a fool and is looked down upon by others, even among fellow Combatants. Nevertheless, not only is he one of the most senior Combatants, but remains one of Kisaragi's best fighters even with outdated cybernetic enhancements and power armor, and is trusted enough by the Supreme Lords for them to consider promoting him into their ranks. One reason why he acts like a fool is because he's just too kind-hearted to be truly evil and seldom goes beyond committing petty crimes to obtain Evil Points.
  • Cyborg: He has a chip implanted in his head to enable translation, and a special suit that gives him superhuman abilities. His suit grants him such power that he's able to cut apart a greater demon in just a few swings. Even with an Absurdly Sharp Blade, it's still impressive.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He's a spy for an evil organization, and he's a shameless pervert. Even so, Six has lines he won’t cross. On occasion, he can show the kind of loyalty that endears him to others.
    • The first time Grimm is killed, he is furious with Gadalkand and swears to kill him. When he learns that she can be revived, he stays by her side until she wakes up and later takes her out on a date.
    • He has displayed a definite refusal to abandon his teammates, no matter how incompetent or frustrating they are to him.
    • He's also firmly against eating anything that once had sentience, such as Orcs, and is disgusted by his comrades' willingness to do so.
  • Eviler than Thou: Six likes to invoke this, with his own morally dubious teammates and even the Demon Army getting disgusted with him, either for his perversity or cowardly tactics (or at least cowardly by their standards).
  • Evil Is Petty: His worst deeds are sexual harassment of pretty ladies, and whatever evil points he acquires are mostly spent on pornography. This is unusually a positive example, as his enemies are worse than him.
  • Expy: The guy is basically Kazuma if you made him a Card-Carrying Villain and amped his worst traits up. Six is a shameless pervert from another world leading an Amazon Brigade of near-useless warriors, yet is smart and pragmatic enough — sometimes veering close to Dirty Coward territory — to lead them all to victory anyways. Plus, despite his vices, he has a Hidden Heart of Gold and is more altruistic than he lets on, legitimately caring for his comrades and having lines he won't cross.
  • Gag Penis: Loves making degrading jokes with his penis to his enemies. When he literally sticks his dick on top of Prince Angles's head as part of his "top knot" prank, he's apparently packing so much the pixelation is rather large.
  • I Choose to Stay: Decides to stay at the Kingdom of Grace to look after everyone there. Alice points out that he couldn’t go back anyway, since he sacrificed his evil points for a weapon to save Grace.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: He's a perverted guy who likes raunchy humor and tends to pull dirty jokes or act like a pervert to earn Evil Points, but his antics are often played for laughs and he never crosses a line without being punished.
  • Mauve Shirt: He's a Mook, albeit one who's the main character of the story.
  • Minion Withan F In Evil: Alice points out that he’s not evil enough to do grand deeds of villainy, which is why he is still rather low on the Kisaragi hierarchy despite his long tenure (that, and the Supreme Lords, whom he knew for a long time, cannot promote him outright to their ranks without raising suspicions of favoritism).
  • Mook: His rank in Kisaragi is but one of many nameless combatants.
  • Nice Guy: Due to him not really being all that evil, he's earned the loyalty of most of the ladies in the show. Despite his perversions, Six has shown genuine loyalty and camaraderie with them, like refusing to abandon them to the Demon Lord's army in spite of how outmatched they are.
  • Old Soldier: He was around at the start of Kisaragi and knows its founders from then.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: The evil he commits is as an agent of an evil corporation, the most evil he has done by himself is going after beautiful women.
  • Red Baron: Though he's often ridiculed within Kisaragi, he's also the only known surviving "Single Number".
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Alice is Blue Oni to Six's Blue Oni, with her being the rational and sane strategist to Six's brash, cocky brawler.
  • The Reveal: Chapter 36 reveals that he originally wanted to be a hero, but didn't have the aptitude to be one. Then he was scouted by Astaroth, which led to him joining Kisaragi.
  • Ship Tease: Despite his usual behavior, there are hints that Astaroth's obvious feelings for him are reciprocated. During Black Lilith's livestream, he shows immediate excitement at seeing her in a swimsuit in contrast to his somewhat underwhelmed reaction to Belial, later admits to bribing and threatening other Agents into voting for her in previous annual surveys, and blushing when she directly asks him who he voted for.
  • The Social Expert: Aside from Astaroth, he's really good at reading people's emotions and has a reputation for improving moral or defusing emotional problems within Kisaragi. In addition he has an open mind for the strange and unusual, such as immediately considering Alice a person and not as a machine. Were he to become a Supreme Lord, the other Lords discussed that he'd likely take charge of Human Resource and Equal Opportunity.
  • Villain Protagonist: He works for an evil organization with the intention of conquering the world and was sent to the new world to help take it over. But as pointed out, at worst he's just a perverted jerk who doesn't do anything that could be considered evil.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Downplayed. He has no problem with threatening children and even delivers a Groin Attack to Russell, but is noticeably panicked when it seems to kill him. Plus, he's reluctant to send Rose to deal with the giant-robot driving Russell upon realizing she's scared.
  • You Are Number 6: Literally; he's only addressed as Combat Agent Six, or just "Six". His real name is unknown. Passing comments from Six reveal that he's not only given up his real name, but his memories thereof, so it's likely that even he doesn't know what his real name is.

    Alice Kisaragi

Voiced by: Miyu Tomita (Japanese), Monica Rial (English), Erika Ugalde (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kisaragi_alice.png
A petite blond android who accompanies Combat Agent 6 on his mission.
  • Badass Adorable: Alice is a petite, childlike android who happens to be the party's relatively most reliable fighter.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Alice initially acts very polite and respectful towards Snow in order to gain her trust and avoid suspicion on Six. Once Snow was demoted, the latter was shocked when Alice drops the act and starts putting Snow in her place.
  • Eviler than Thou: Like Six, she can pull off deeds that terrify even demons, as evidenced in when, while testing the veracity of Grimm's ability to summon demons, she freaks them out when she makes such outrageous wishes as destroying entire planets, leaving her still skeptical when even they couldn't find it in them to accede to her wish.
  • Expy: Alice can be considered a mashup of Princess Iris's blond hair and childlike looks, as well as Megumin's relative usefulness to the party. Also, in contrast to Six, she more or less inherited Kazuma's penchant for snark as well as being the party's Only Sane Man.
  • Flat-Earth Atheist: Being a product of science, Alice staunchly refuses to believe in the supernatural. Six calls her out on this, pointing out they deal with magic and demons on a regular basis, but she wants none of it. When Grimm summons a devil to prove her wrong, Alice gladly offers her soul (which she doesn't have) in exchange for a series of ludicrous wishes like creating a few more planets in Earth's solar system. The befuddled demon meekly complains it's beyond his abilities and disappears, leaving Alice less than impressed.
  • Glass Cannon: Alice is a high specs android, so high specs that she was built with the exact same strength and durability of a normal human girl of her physical appearance. As a result, she's always careful of avoiding damage, because it could trigger her self-destruct to go off which is nuclear.
  • Hidden Depths: Though she is a robot and generally acts stoic, she does take compliments with pleasure.
  • I Lied:
    • Turns out, when she said Combat Agent 6 was stranded on Earth, it wasn't true. She just wants to continue the mission at his side.
    • She also lied when she said Astaroth is the one who banned Agent 6 from letting his evil points go into the negatives. She's the one who did it, that way she can unlift the ban when the chips are down, and have 6 owe her big time.
  • Little Miss Badass: She may be small, but just give her a weapon and she'll put it to efficient use.
  • Little Miss Snarker: She's a childlike Robot Girl with one of the driest senses of humor among the cast, often making snide remarks with a straight face.
  • The Man Behind the Man: Officially, Six is The Leader of Kisaragi operations on the New World. In reality Alice runs the day-to-day operations... and everyone knows it. Six is absolutely fine with this arrangement because he hates dealing with administrative responsibilities.
  • Only Sane Woman: She is the one most focused on the mission from Kisaragi, and always brings up important points for Combat Agent 6 to consider.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Alice is Blue Oni to Six's Blue Oni, with her being the rational and sane strategist to Six's brash, cocky brawler.
  • Resurrective Immortality: Alice is able to resurrect herself by sending her mind to another body in Kisaragi HQ, but she never gets a chance to show it presumably because teleporting in a new body would be a hassle.
  • Robot Girl: She's a first-generation gynoid created by Lilith for tactical and strategic planning. Because all her hardware is devoted to data collection, she lacks integrated weapons and augmented strength. However, she still has nuclear reactor rigged to self destruct like an atomic bomb.
  • Shotguns Are Just Better: Despite being able to summon/wield all sorts of weapons, she seems to prefer her pump-action shotgun first and foremost.
  • Taking You with Me: If she's seriously damaged her reactor will detonate.
  • Token Mini-Moe: She's the most childlike member of the cast.
  • Undying Loyalty: Though she has a strong mischievous streak, everything she does is for Six's benefit. Her ultimate goal is the successful invasion of the New World, with Six getting enough credit to secure his promotion as the fourth Supreme Leader. That such an event would get him closer to Astaroth is an added bonus.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Claims this in regards to her Destroyer against Russell's mech, claiming his machine was more powerful but she was the better pilot, allowing her to win with only minor injuries.

    Freezing Astaroth

Voiced by: Sayumi Watabe (Japanese), Mallorie Rodak (English), Gaby Servín (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/freezing_astaroth.png
One of the Supreme Leaders of Kisaragi. She is a cryokinetic responsible for planning and logistics.
  • Boring, but Practical: Whereas Belial handles warfare and Lilith handles invention, Astaroth handles budgets and supplies. Without Astaroth, Belial would not have weapons to fight with or money to pay troops; Lilith would not have the chemicals or machinery to perform experiments. She is the person who sustains Kisaragi.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: Has one of the bustiest figures in the cast, which is partly why Six likes her and why Lilith is envious of her.
  • Cannot Spit It Out: She loves Six, and the feeling is mutual, but neither can admit it openly to the other.
  • Childhood Friend: Has been Belial's friend since they were kids, and the two are the closest among the Supreme Leaders.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: She becomes agitated once she learns how many women have been getting close to Six during the course of his mission.
  • Crush Blush: Tends to blush when thinking about or interacting with Six, often to the point of getting a Luminescent Blush.
  • Decomposite Character: As an Evil Genius with a mystical aura, she's half of Kisaragi's equivalent of Dr. Shinigami.
  • Dude Magnet: She's only behind Belial in being the most desired woman in Kisaragi, having several employees pining after her.
  • Elemental Eye Colors: Astaroth has pale blue eyes and her power is creating ice.
  • Elemental Hair Colors: Her dark-blue further associates her with ice powers.
  • Everyone Can See It: She's teased by the other two leaders for having a not-so-secret crush on Six, who she's known since the beginning of Kisaragi. When she learns about his squad of girls he picked up, she is agitated.
  • Fire/Ice Duo: Astaroth is An Ice Person and Belial has Playing with Fire powers.
  • Hime Cut: She's a regal and sophisticated woman who wears the traditional hime cut, with her bangs are trimmed just above her eyelids and sidelocks framing her face.
  • An Ice Person: She can freeze water, encase people in ice, create blizzards, and throw giant frozen shards.
  • Long Hair Is Feminine: She's the most feminine member of the Supreme Leaders and has long dark hair that reaches her waist.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She's a beautiful woman with a busty figure and tends to be subjected to Male Gaze, especially when Six is lusting after her.
  • Mythical Motifs: Her attire and powers invoke the theme of a Yuki-onna.
  • Raven Hair, Ivory Skin: She's a great beauty with long dark hair and pale skin.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Blue to Belial's Red, as the brains of Kisaragi.
  • Showgirl Skirt: She wears a white kimono that she leaves open at the front, revealing her legs.
  • Tsundere: She has romantic feelings for Six, but her behavior toward him often shifts from ruthless and violent to sweet and caring.
  • When She Smiles: Every time Six has considered leaving Kisaragi, he stops short because he'd miss seeing her smile.

    Flaming Belial

Voiced by: Rina Hidaka (Japanese), Molly Searcy (English), Lion Ollivier (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/flaming_belial.png
One of the Supreme Leaders of Kisaragi. She is a pyrokinetic responsible for espionage and combat operations.

    Black Lilith

Voiced by: Kaori Ishihara (Japanese), Emily Neves (English), Araceli Romero (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/black_lilith.png
One of the Supreme Leaders of Kisaragi. She is a Mad Scientist responsible for technological research and development.
  • Accent Adaptation: She's British in the English dub to further play up her Mad Scientist persona.
  • Accidental Hero: She kills the Demon King when she blows up a tower he was in without even knowing he was there
  • A-Cup Angst: One of her excuses for why she cheated on the weekly survey, claiming she's just a normal pretty girl and can't compete with Astaroth and Belial's "porn star bodies" and ability to wear barely anything to get attention.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Turned up to 11. Within Book 4 of the light novels she is described as having a vindictive loyalty to her subordinates and being a lot like 6 in not really being suited for a life of evil. The anime portrayal of her attitude towards subordinates is a bit different from this.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Six, Belial, and Astaroth consider her as one.
  • Bad Boss: She recruits rookies with no means to pay them, and sabotages her organization's survey, all for her own pleasure. She tries to justify it as being part of villainy, but it ends up bringing a bunch of heroes to the Kisaragi headquarters.
  • Color Motifs: She adores the color black, so much that she tried to put a trademark on it.
  • Decomposite Character: As the resident Mad Scientist, she's the other half of Dr. Shinigami's Captain Ersatz in Kisaragi.
  • Ditzy Genius: Played with. Her technology borders on Awesome, but Impractical levels and it ends up giving as much trouble as it does benefits.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: When she visits the Kingdom of Grace and finds a bunch of slaves bred for work and consumption, she is shocked.
  • Everyone Has Standards: During her livestream to deliver fanservice shots to their workers, she's quick to try and stop Astaroth from confessing her feelings for 6 in front of everyone.
  • Evil Brit: Inverted; she's only this in the dubbed version of the anime.
  • Eviler than Thou: When she's outed as cheating on the yearly survey, she tries to excuse her actions by stating that she's a leader of an evil corporation so it should be expected, going as far as to claim that while Astaroth and Belial act like evil leaders, they're just big softies deep down. While the intelligence part of this trope is debatable with her, she's not wrong with how much shadier she is, seeing as her Plan B to win was hiring a bunch of new combat agents despite the trouble they were having with paying their current ones, and then claiming she'll just have them work for nothing when this is pointed out to her.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: She builds high-tech devices of all kinds.
  • Hidden Depths: She points out, in true Chuniibyou style, that despite her talents she's just not as beautiful or powerful as Belial or Astaroth and has to compensate with developing incredible but impractical tech.
  • It's All About Me:
    • She only tests her inventions once, and says they have a 100% success rate; she doesn't test them again so that no flaws are found and they can be seen as perfect, even if they are otherwise.
    • She also set up a Kisaragi survey that makes her the best member, doing it through making up false members who voted for her and bribing existing members. Astaroth and Belial are upset with her when they find out.
  • Jerkass Has a Point:
    • When she's outed as having cheated in the yearly survey, she's quick to point that she's one of the heads of an evil organization so it's only natural that she'd play dirty, and even questions Astaroth and Belial on their own claims of being evil despite their altruistic traits.
    • In relation to the above, she claims she also cheated because there's no way she can compete with Astaroth and Belial's "porn star bodies" and ability to wear little clothing for attention. While she could have stood to be a bit less crude, she's not wrong seeing as almost All Men Are Perverts who like large breasts in this universe, and the two of them do often walk around in Stripperific outfits.
  • Labcoat of Science and Medicine: As Kisaragi's Mad Scientist, she wears a labcoat as a matter of course.
  • Mad Scientist: She develops new technology for Kisaragi.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Her livestream of Kisaragi's annual leader survey was broadcast worldwide, leading to groups of heroes mounting an assault at the Kisaragi headquarters.
  • Social Media Before Reason: She streamed the company's employee appreciation party in order to get fanservice shots of Belial and Astaroth, and by extension subscribers. This in turn led to a group of heroes finding their location and attacking the party.

    Tiger Man

Voiced by: Rikiya Koyama (Japanese), Jeremy Inman (English), Dan Osorio (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/com5.jpg
A fellow Kisaragi agent who comes to assist Combat Agent 6.
  • Beast Man: Tiger Man. A tiger who is also a man.
  • Cool Shades: He's always wearing the stereotypical "v-shaped" sunglasses to go along with his "cool" persona.
  • Comedic Lolicon: Tiger Man likes his women smaller than Snow. Much, much smaller. In fact, he wants to become one of those smaller women.
  • Depraved Bisexual: So long as his object of attraction looks young, he doesn't care if they're male or female.
  • Monster of the Week: What his rank in Kisaragi would be if this were a traditional hero show, one of many animal-themed monsters sent out after the heroes on a weekly basis.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: He's almost always topless.

Kingdom of Grace

    King

Voiced by: Takaya Hashi (Japanese), Cris George (English), Bernardo Ezeta (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/com10.jpg

  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Though presenting himself as The Good King, it's shown that this isn't true. When he learns that the password to activate the rainmaker machine is "Dick Festival" (thanks to Agent Six), the king continues to let his kingdom suffer through a drought rather than be embarrassed for a few moments.
  • Puppet King: In Volume I Agent 6 discerns that he is too weak to be in charge and that his 16 year old daughter is the actual ruler by virtue of having him wrapped around her fingers.

    Cristoseles Tilles Grace

Voiced by: Kaori Maeda (Japanese), Bryn Apprill (English), Georgina Sánchez (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/com11.jpg

  • Beneath the Mask: On the surface, Princess Tillis is as pretty as a summer's day. But underneath she's a ruthless schemer who doesn't hesitate to use her loyal vassals as pawns to trap a lecherous prince.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Princess Tillis frequently proves to be far more scheming and manipulative than her Princess Classic image suggests. She refuses to activate the water artifact simply because it has an embarrassing code phrase, despite the fact that her kingdom is undergoing a drought. In Volume 6, it's even shown that her moral color is even darker than some Kisaragi group members.
  • Covert Pervert: She gets oddly excited at the prospect of Six doing something naughty to Snow.
  • High-Class Fan: Commonly has a fan in her hand, especially when she's trying to look more regal.
  • The Man Behind the Man: She was considered the real power behind the throne even before her father fled.
  • Politically-Active Princess: She's the most active political member of the royal family and is so good at it that she's basically considered the actual power behind the throne.
  • Princesses Rule: When her father takes off for parts unknown little changes except that she now rules the kingdom openly.
  • Silk Hiding Steel: She may look like a kind and ingenue pushover, but she's actually quite clever, manipulative and politically savvy.

    Chosen One
The King's son and Grace's brother, who went missing at a crucial time.
  • The Chosen One: He was recognized as the "chosen one" due to a mark appearing on his hand, signifying he was the one meant to defeat the Demon Lord who threatened the kingdom. But his destined legend ends up being derailed by Kisaragi sending Six and Alice to the planet.
  • The Faceless: The audience never properly see his face, only his silhouette or his body.
  • Put on a Bus: He ended up teleported away by a demon, leaving the kingdom to have to depend on Six. He was actually teleported to Earth by Lilith and was recruited into Kisaragi, but he has not seen by the reader after Volume 2 of the series.

    Strategist
A sly advisor at the Kingdom of Grace.
  • Bald of Evil: His baldness is meant to enhance his sketchy persona.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: He's jealous of Six and Snow for their deeds and competence.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: He ends up being correct about Six and Alice being spies on the kingdom, but not about who they work for.
  • Smug Smiler: He is rarely seen without a smirk.
  • Smug Snake: Thinks himself a great strategist and manipulative genius, but he keeps getting outsmarted and ridiculed by the protagonists.

    Snow

Voiced by: Sayaka Kikuchi (Japanese), Amber Lee Connors (English), Edurne Keel (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/snow_sentoin.png
The Commander of Princess Tillis' Royal Guard.
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Is often frustrated with Six for his crass and perverted demeanour, often getting into heated arguments.
  • Berserk Button: Damaging her weapons tends to make her unreasonably mad, due to how expensive they are.
  • Butt-Monkey: Terrible things keep happening to her due to her association with Six and Alice, due to her being the one who brought them into the kingdom in the first place, she's often the one punished by their antics. This is all Played for Laughs.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: Six often mentions that her sizable breasts are her only good points.
  • Defeat by Modesty: Six manages to "defeat" her by blatantly grabbing her boobs during a fight, making her so mad and embarrassed that she gets Blinded by Rage during her attempt at a Pervert Revenge Mode.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: When she meets Six and Alice, she doesn't care about anything but exploiting them to further her own social status, since she was a dirt-poor urchin who worked her way to the top. But after she's demoted and assigned to his ragtag group of reject warriors, she softens into a Slap-Slap-Kiss Tsundere towards him after she sees some tiny modicum of virtue inside him.
  • Expy: She's Aqua if you take away the divinity. She's a blue-haired woman named after an element, a water-based one at that, with an obsession with money and wealth, but often ends up useless in a fight in spite of her rank, and is otherwise forced to follow the main character. She also shares elements with Darkness, being a busty warrior who wields a sword and suffers from Honor Before Reason.
  • Freudian Excuse: She grew up poor, which explains her fascination with money.
  • Rags to Riches: She wants to be this, having grown up as a commoner orphan who worked her way to her position as a royal knight via diligent training. But while she has access to money now, she's too Money Dumb to keep it, so it's in a state of Perpetual Poverty, thus why she's such a Glory Seeker.
  • Glory Seeker: She openly admits she desires to accumulate glory just for the money and fame it brings her.
  • Gold Digger: Snow. She starts cozying up to Tiger Man the instant she finds out he can summon swords from another world, right up until he outs himself as a pedophile and she turns away in disgust. Later, she asks Six if he can summon swords as well, and casually mentions she has no problem paying for them with sex.
  • Honor Before Reason: She shares her kingdom's values in using only honorable (if inferior) tactics as a way to gain proper glory in combat and disapproves of Six and Alice's dirty tactics. But she starts coming around to their views more and more over time.
  • I Call It "Vera": She is obsessed with gimmicky swords, and she's taken to giving them fancy names like "Flame Zapper" and "Iceberg".
  • I Have Boobs, You Must Obey!: She's not above using her body to try to seduce others into doing what she wants.
  • I'll Kill You!: Said as a Madness Mantra after Six grabbed her breasts when trying to fight her. Being a Combat Pragmatist, he knew that this would make her so mad that she couldn't focus.
  • Light Is Not Good: She wears white and is named Snow, but she is by no means pure-hearted.
  • Linear Warriors, Quadratic Wizards: Snow is an outstanding swordswoman, but she's weaker than Rose (who has inherent magical abilities) and Grimm (who can use spellcraft).
  • Lust Object: Six admits he finds her incredibly attractive, but his feelings for her end there.
  • Master Swordsman: Has risen from a commoner to the captain of the royal guard due to her skill with the blade. Even Six admits she's a better swordfighter than him.
  • Money Dumb: Snow is remarkably bad with her money. She often spends extreme amounts of money and/or takes out loans to buy expensive swords, which get consistently lost or broken anyways. When she explains to Alice and Six that she got kicked out of the castle, the flashback even shows Snow carrying a backpack full of swords instead of the expected necessities like food or water. This can be at least partly explained by Snow's upbringing in poverty; because she never learned to properly manage money, she spends whatever money she does get irresponsibly quickly, to the point that she ends up consistently broke.
  • Money Fetish: Due to her extremely poor upbringing. Also because she constantly buys stupidly expensive swords that she can't possibly use.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Her huge chest is frequently prominent and the source of a lot of Male Gaze.
  • Perpetual Poverty: Thanks to her habit of buying extremely expensive cool gimmicky swords, Snow is constantly lacking in funds. It gets to the point where she's willing to sell her body and Alice has to stop her by offering her a job making shotgun shells. She's even homeless because of her spending habits, as she confesses later on.
  • Self-Made Woman: Snow rose from abject poverty to become the captain of Grace Kingdom's royal guard. As a result, she has a fetishistic lust for money and material goods (especially nice gimmick swords) and she flies off the handle whenever something happens that threatens her hard-earned status.
  • Slap-Slap-Kiss: Despite her and 6 throwing insults at each other, she gives him a kiss as thanks for helping to save Grace.
  • Tsundere: After she falls for Six, she frequently changes from being sweet and caring to angry and violent.
  • Weapon Specialization: She only really knows how to fight with swords, though she does own several types.
  • Younger Than They Look: In some dialogue not included in the anime, despite her appearance and high position, Snow states that she is only seventeen years old. Six clearly doesn’t believe her and calls her a hag, much to her annoyance.

    Rose

Voiced by: Natsumi Murakami (Japanese), Kristi Rothrock (English), Susana Cohe (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rose_sentoin.png
A chimera beast.
  • Big Eater: She loves to eat and is hungry all the time, likely as a side-effect of her Cannibalism Superpower.
  • Cannibalism Superpower: She gets her powers from eating things, with emphasis on the “cannibalism”: she doesn’t mind eating people if she has to do so. She currently bears dragon traits from having eaten dragons.
  • Chained by Fashion: Rose wears a manacle with a broken chain on her right wrist.
  • Cute Monster Girl: She's a chimera, but looks like a cute girl with various monster features like a horn, a bat wing, and a dragon-like tail.
  • Horned Humanoid: She has a small horn in her head.
  • LEGO Genetics: Rose is frequently described as being "like K*rby" for her ability to take on the powers of (and sprout the body parts of) whatever she eats. This is also the very reason she is loathe to eat bugs.
  • Little Bit Beastly: Rose has one horn and a lizard's tail, due to her chimeric nature. She gains a single black wing later on.
  • Mark of the Supernatural: Her right eye is yellow and her left one is light blue. Since she's a chimera, her heterochromia alludes to her mixed monster nature.
  • Petite Pride: Alice offers silicone for her to eat, so she'd get a larger chest, but Rose is fine with her body and isn't interested in getting bigger.

    Grimm Grimoire

Voiced by: Minami Takahashi (Japanese), Brittney Karbowski (English), Marysol Lobo (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/grimm_sentoin.png
A priestess of the chaos god Zenarith.
  • A-Cup Angst: Her breasts aren't that small, but she constantly expresses jealousy about the girls with bustier figures like Snow and Heine.
  • Adaptation Dye-Job: Her anime design gives her auburn colored hair, whereas she's described as having brown hair in the light novels.
  • Ambiguously Bi: She is absolutely attracted to men, but when a woman believed a drink sent to her was from Grimm rather than its actual sender, Six, she began "passionately" seducing the former. It got to the point Grimm started believing "it wouldn't matter if she was a girl as long as she made her happy." Nothing came of it though, and she was plenty angry at Six for leaving her to the woman's advances rather than clearing up the misunderstanding
  • Awesome, but Impractical: Her magic allows her to do almost anything, including defeating opponents much stronger than her, but due to its chaotic nature it's also very unreliable and has a high chance of backfiring.
  • Blessed with Suck: She has the power to curse people, but the power isn’t too accurate and can backfire on her easily.
  • Butt-Monkey: She ends up suffering some terrible fate on a regular basis. Combat Agent 6 actually does things to her to get evil points, but eventually that stops working because bad things happening to her ends up the norm.
  • Death is Cheap: Thanks to her god, whenever she dies she gets resurrected.
  • Expy: She's one to Megumin, being The Archmage who primarily uses an Awesome, but Impractical form of magic. Though she differs in that while Megumin's Explosion Magic is consistently useful and powerful but leaves her drained and causes her to collapse, meaning she can only use it once a day and needs someone to carry her after using it, Grimm's is this as while she can cause any manner of misfortune to befall her target, there's a chance of it backfiring on her, meaning with her it's basically a gamble instead of a surefire victory. Plus, while Megumin is the Token Mini-Moe, Grimm is a grown and rather mature looking woman (though she doesn't always act like it).
  • Handicapped Badass: She's an almighty wizard who can't be killed, yet has to be taken around in a wheelchair or a vehicle. Subverted in that the reason she's in a wheelchair isn't because her legs are broken, but because she's suffering under a curse that forbids her from wearing shoes. Indeed she's shown walking around multiple times when needed, though she's physically the weakest of the group and has to literally be carried by Rose when they're trapped in the desert (and she still dies anyway despite that).
  • The Load: She is a priestess adept with curse magic and while she would be useful under normal circumstances multiple factors cripple her: she's often asleep during the day and struggles to stay awake during combat, her curses have a 1-in-5 chance of backfiring on her, and her self-enforced wheelchair-bound state means she's often a sitting duck for attacks. If not for her Resurrective Immortality she’d be (permanently) dead dozens of times over, making her often literally dead weight, since the party has to drag her corpse back to the nearest altar of Zenarith to resurrect her. When they're trapped in the desert she somehow dies of dehydration despite the other party members managing to stay alive and Rose has to carry her corpse through the sweltering heat.
  • Love Hungry: Outwardly, Grimm pretends to be a consummate priestess attuned to the powers of darkness. But secretly, she's miserable that she can't get a man, and this is often played for laughs:
    • In her intro, it's revealed she goes so far as to wear racy panties that, according to a magazine she read, would help raise her prospects.
    • Later, her idea of going out on a date with Six is rolling through town at breakneck speeds on a new wheelchair he bought for her and trying to bowl over happy couples.
    • Later on when visiting a neighboring kingdom, she desperately tries to hook herself up with various noblemen and flies into a crying rage when she fails due to them already having fiancees, already being married, and in one case being gay.
  • Magical Barefooter: Enforced. She once tried to curse someone to explode if they aren't barefoot, but it backfired and now she's forced to go around without footwear of any kind.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: On a diplomacy mission to the Kingdom of Tories, she threw an impotency curse at Agent 6, which hit the prince of said kingdom. This set off a chain of events which led to Toris declaring war on Grace.
  • Ojou: Though her clothing and shabby hair don't immediately reflect it, Grimm's vocabulary and vocal quirks are reminiscent of someone from high aristocracy.
  • Old Maid: Constantly laments that she's becoming old and will soon be unable to marry.
  • Prefers Going Barefoot: Grimm doesn't have a choice in this regard. The reason she goes barefoot is because of a backfired curse, so even putting on socks would cause her to explode.
  • Repetitive Name: Grimm Grimoire
  • Reluctant Fanservice Girl: She attempts to act as The Tease when she meets Six, but ends actually horribly embarrassed when Six sees a Panty Shot of her, causing her to comically react like she's been Defiled Forever. Her inadvertently giving other characters Panty Shots becomes a Running Gag.
  • Resurrective Immortality: Although Grimm can die, if she's set on an altar and an offering is made to her god Zenarith, she will come back to life no matter the cause of her death.
  • Self-Damaging Attack Backfire: As a dark priestess, Grimm can hurl curses at her enemies. However, they stand a 20% chance of backfiring and inflicting her instead, so she mainly relies on pathetic low-level curses such as inflicting somebody with the pain of a stubbed toe. In fact, a backfiring curse is the reason she's in a wheelchair. Not because her legs don't work, but because she's forbidden from wearing shoes.
  • Sleepyhead: Grimm is often sleepy and tired and tends to doze off in her wheelchair during battles. That sounds dangerous, but she is functionally immortal thanks to her Resurrective Immortality.
  • Squishy Wizard: She's a powerful mage, but is bound to a wheelchair and is very physically fragile, which is why she dies so often.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Due to her Resurrective Immortality, she often dies in silly, messy and undignified ways and the others don't really care much.
  • Vague Age: Grimm appears to be in her late teens or early twenties, but her constant worries about being a spinster and refusal to state her age makes it difficult to tell how old she really is. The fact that she’s an undead means it’s possible that she's far older than she looks.

Demon Kingdom

Horned Humanoid: As suits the residents.
    Heine

Voiced by: Asami Seto (Japanese), Kristen McGuire (English), Valca Ponzanelli (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/heine.jpg
A Commander of the Demon Army.
  • Affably Evil: She is polite and friendly towards her enemies, offering Six a chance to join her side. Too bad for her they don't return her politeness and humiliate her, causing her to drop all pretences of this.
  • Big-Breast Pride: She's apparently quite happy with her sizable chest and is horrified when Grimm threatens to curse her breasts into becoming smaller.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: She's on the receiving end of this from 6 who constantly points out how busty she is, and earns Evil Points by feeling up her big breasts that are almost fully exposed thanks to her Stripperific outfit that's just slightly less revealing than a sling bikini.
  • Butt-Monkey: Is often on the receiving end of humiliating fanservice jokes.
  • Cool Big Sis: Acts as one to Russell, often looking out for him and even (non-lethally) Taking the Bullet for him during a fight against some drones. Russell claims to get annoyed at being treated like a kid, but he's shown to look up to her a good deal.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Unlike most male demons, she has an attractive humanoid figure with a few monstrous traits.
  • Friendly Enemy: At first, after the protagonists humiliate her multiple times she gets more hostile.
  • Going Commando: While attending a gala, the extremely revealing red dress she puts on not only highlights her breasts and thighs, but the fact that she obviously isn't wearing any underwear either. Ironically, her regular attire pretty much is just undergarments.
  • The Heavy: She's the face of the demon forces, being the high-ranking officer who faces the party the most often.
  • Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: After her first appearance treated her mostly seriously and dignified, Heine finds herself increasingly becoming the victim of Six's antics in all of her subsequent appearances.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She's a Cute Monster Girl clad in Stripperific clothing and often gets into fanservice situations (against her will).
  • Noble Demon: Despite being a demon, she isn't overtly cruel. She spares Snow during their first fight despite there being no reason to and continuously offers Six to join their side. She even tells another ally that she doesn't hate humanity despite the conflict, though she does hold a grudge against Six due to him going out of his way to humiliate her.
  • Playing with Fire: She is a skilled mage who can create and manipulate flames.
  • Reluctant Fanservice Girl: Despite her Stripperific outfit, she's utterly embarrassed whenever 6 does things like force her to do Fanservicey photo-shoots or accidentally strips her, sometimes causing a Naked Freak-Out.
  • Stripperific: As indicative of her rank, she wears a very skimpy outfit consisting of a black leotard that shows off her cleavage and midriff.

A Commander of the Demon Army.
  • Dishing Out Dirt: He is an earth demon with the ability to create golems.
  • Killed Off for Real: He gets sliced to bits by Six's R-Buzzsaw.
  • Unfinished Business: It turns out that Earth Powers include powers over the Undead and in book 3 he uses this to return during the Festival Of The Undead and seek revenge upon the Kingdom of Grace and everyone involved in his death.
