Amaredae

    open/close all folders

    General
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Implied; Canteros' entry notes that part of his stoicism stems from looking after his many divine and demi-divine half-brothers and sisters, and having to put up with their mischief and spats.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: All members of the Amaredae embody a specific aspect of Love, such as Requited Love, Selfless Love, and Self-Love.
  • Badass Family: All members of the Amaredae, including the Semi-Divine ones, are Love deities who are capable of wielding incredible power and kicking ass, largely thanks to their loving and benevolent upbringing by Amareros, the Grand Primeval of Love. This includes Love deities who are members of other pantheons, such as Princess Cadence, a member of the Equestrian Pantheon and ruler of the Crystal Empire.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Many divine and demi-divine members of the Amaredae inherited both their father's benevolence, kindness and generosity to those who needed love, largely due to their upbringing. However, they also inherited his unforgiving and terrifying wrath towards those who scorn and/or abuse Love and those who regard it highly.
  • Berserk Button: Do not trample on true love. Either they'll destroy you themselves, or give sanction to someone else to do it, as a fanatical stallion zealot and the haughty, corrupt, and prejudiced pantheon he worshipped found out the hard way.
  • Big Brother Instinct: As shown with Amina, many of them don't like it when one of their own is threatened in some way. When Amina was attacked and nearly killed by a heartbroken mortal for supposedly causing them so many failures and heartache, many of her older/younger brothers and sisters rushed to her defense. The mortal was only spared and given a second chance because Amina begged Amareros to give them one, and even then, Amareros punished the mortal with a terrible curse in retaliation for attacking one of his children.
  • Divine Parentage: As indicated by their group name, all members of the Amaredae, including the Semi-Divine ones, were sired by Amareros, the Love Primeval, whether through divine or mortal parents. This includes Princess Cadence, a member of the Equestrian Pantheon and the ruler of the Crystal Empire.
  • Heroic Bastard: All members of the Amaredae had been sired by Amareros through various female mortals and divines, making his children paternal half-siblings. All of them became benevolent and heroic individuals thanks to Amareros raising them right.
  • Heroic Lineage: As noted by Canteros' entry, all members of the Amaredae embody some kind of aspect of Amareros, due to Amareros embodying Love in general. For example, Canteros embodies Requited Love, while Amour-De-Soi embodies Self-Love.
  • Love Goddess: All members of the Amaredae are Love deities and demi-deities, courtesy of Amareros. Through various affairs with both mortals and divines, he sired quite a huge number of not only daughters, but sons as well, with all of them embodying some kind of aspect of their father. Among them are Canteros, the oldest of the Amaredae and the god of Requited Love, Amour-De-Soi, the goddess of Self-Love, and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, who is known as Princess Cadence.
  • Massive Numbered Siblings: Justified. Their father, Amareros, had been going around sleeping with countless mortals and divines for eons so he could stay connected to divine/mortal sapientkind. This resulted in scores of divine and demi-divine children; those who have official entries are just scratching the surface in regards to just how many there are.
  • Strong and Skilled: Justified. Owing to their father, who is a Grand Primeval, many members of the Amaredae are notably capable and powerful as deities for their age and domain thanks to his upbringing.
  • Token Evil Teammate: In a group that mostly contains benevolent deities of Love (as love is generally a positive concept), there are evil members like Cramoisie Amour and her fraternal twin sister, Blanche Amour. However, they are still accepted as family as Good Needs Evil, with the more evil Amaredae being Noble Demons who test both deities and mortals to see if they could resist their temptations.
  • Upbringing Makes the Hero: Their collective benevolence and heroism comes from Amareros, who was a loving father to all of his children and taught them how to use their domains to benefit sapientkind as a whole.
  • Winged Unicorn: As shown with Carnation and the twins Blanche and Cramoisie, many Amaredae members are Alicorns. Others like Canteros choose to appear as one, whether out of preference or to interact with mortals better.

    Canteros, Love's Firstborn

Classification: Ethereal/Ascendant(?)

Portfolio: Love, Requited Love, Reconciliation, Transformation

Rank: Primeval/Preeminent

"Everyone deserves to love and be loved in return - from the greatest of gods and noblest of heroes, to those who are deemed 'evil' and 'wretched' because of circumstances beyond their control. To give and receive true requited love is to transcend distinctions, judgement... and even time itself."

Canteros (his entry here) is the "Alicorn" god of Love, Requited Love, Reconciliation, and Transformation, and is the eldest son and child of Amareros, the Love Primeval.

As the oldest child of Amareros and the oldest member of the Amaredae, Canteros' origins have been subjected to ambiguity. Some claim that he was born a demi-deity of Love after Amareros decided to travel across Equus, and fell in love with a female mortal from an early sapient Equine species. Others claim that he was "born" when Amareros and his sibling, Symvíosi, created the concept of co-existence based on mutually-shared Love, and the massive abundance of Love - along with the bad consequences - spawned a new infant deity, making Amareros and Symvíosi the "parents" of Canteros. Regardless of the answer, it is known that Canteros' existence predates the creation of the Alicorns themselves. And because of his noble upbringing, he is as benevolent as his father, helping Amareros spread the joys and wonders of Love among sapientkind while punishing those who abuse it.

While Canteros heavily resembles his father, he is the opposite of Amareros in that he is stoic and calm, which can make him appear unnerving due to how ancient and eldritch he is. However, deep down, he is very warm and loving, and is at heart a romantic dreamer who desires for everyone to have their own "happy endings", especially where Love is concerned.[WIP]
  • Adaptational Badass: In Greek mythology, Anteros is a minor god of Requited Love who's a son of Aphrodite and Ares, being created to be a brother/playmate for Eros on the reasoning that Love cannot thrive if it is not reciprocated. Canteros, his Codex counterpart, is the Preeminent/Primeval god of Requited Love and Reconciliation, as well as the eldest son and child of Amareros, who is the Grand Primeval god of Love and thus the most ancient Love deity in existence.
  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In Greek mythology, Anteros is depicted as the brother/playmate of Eros. Here, he's depicted as the firstborn son and child of Amareros, who is based on the ancient depiction of Eros as a primordial god of Love.
  • Affectionate Nickname: He's always called "Big Brother" by his younger siblings, due to him being loving and supportive towards them all despite their great numbers.
  • All-Loving Hero: Despite his stoic and calm demeanor, he is really a dreamer and romantic at heart, and like his younger sister, Amour-De-Soi, believes that even "evil" and "wretched" deserve Love and to be Loved in return. Justified, as he is the god of Requited Love and Reconciliation, which plays a huge part in his character.
  • All Your Powers Combined: His entry notes that because he often appears as a butterfly-themed Alicorn, he is assumed to have the combined magics of all three Pony tribes. However, it's likely that he's more powerful than that due to his age and status as Amareros' firstborn son and child.
  • Aloof Big Brother: Subverted. He's the oldest and most powerful of the Amaredae, yet though he is often stoic and calm, he's incredibly warm, benevolent, and loving deep down, and has served as a mentor figure for all of his younger brothers and sisters until they could act on their own. Because of this, his siblings love and respect him greatly. That being said, his entry notes that part of his stoicism comes from putting up with his younger siblings' mischief and spats.
  • Animalistic Abomination: Like his father, Amareros, it's implied that he's really an Eldritch Abomination who often changes his appearance because his true form might affect the sanity of even lesser divines. His most favorite form to appear in is that of a tall and handsome blue Alicorn with a shimmering pelt, huge yet beautiful iridescent butterfly wings (with the maximum being ten), a rippling mane and tail made of iridescent light blue energy, a Holy Halo made of rainbow-colored light, and a "Cutie Mark" depicting a flock of butterflies in the shape of a heart with some flying away. Despite his eldritch appearance, however, he's a benevolent god devoted to spreading Love and giving mortals their happy endings.
  • Animal Motifs: His entry notes that he's popularly associated with butterflies, and for good reason. He often appears as a butterfly-themed Alicorn, and his domain of Transformation allows him to turn into butterflies and back. He also has powerful psychic abilities that allow him to hear and see things through them, and help people in need even when he's not available. And because of what he embodies, he brings change on a spiritual and emotional level - he helps people "transform" by helping them acknowledge their own flaws, allowing them to "reconcile" with those they have broken up with and/or have wronged. He also helps people realize their hidden feelings for someone, allowing them to return their Love to those who pine for them. All these factors echo how butterflies are seen as symbols of transition, rebirth, and transformation.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: He's an Alicorn god who embodies Love, Requited Love, Reconciliation, and Transformation.
  • Armor-Piercing Attack: He wields a tall, white ornamental staff that can punch holes in armor if he strikes hard enough.
  • Badass Cape: He wears a dark royal-blue hooded cloak with iridescent rainbow patterns. He's also the oldest son and child of Amareros, and thus is an ancient and powerful god just like his father.
  • Barrier Warrior: As part of his Love domain, he can create barriers made of light.
  • Beam Spam: As part of his Love domain, he can fire beams of pure light.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Like his father and relatives, he's an incredibly warm, benevolent, and loving figure despite his stoicism, and devotes himself to giving mortals their happy ending, whether romantically or platonically. However, it's noted that he can be truly terrifying if angered - perhaps moreso due to his stoicism - and he hates people who scorn/abuse Love and those who regard Love highly. Many stories speak of how he would harshly punish said people by stripping them of their ability to feel love indefinitely, making them fall in love with the very people they scorned and/or other "disgusting" things such as mud and dirt, and cursing them with a presence that magically compels others to turn away in scorn until they Took a Level in Kindness.
  • Big Brother Mentor: It's noted that he has served as a mentor figure for all of his younger brothers and sisters, until they could act on their own as Love deities and demi-deities. Amour-De-Soi was implied to be one of them who received such guidance, as he was extremely proud of how his sister handled the Elternteil Deer Pantheon's crisis and influenced Belyolen to rebel against his haughty and puristic parents, High King Irminsul and High Queen Arvan.
  • Big Good: Much like his father, Canteros had a hoof in the lives of several characters within the Codexverse, and served as a positive influence that allowed several individuals and factions to both receive Love from others and reconcile with those who wronged them and had been wronged in turn.
    • He participated in the "Twilight of the Orosians" conflict in the form of a minor Orosian Love god so his targets wouldn't scurry away unpunished should they discover him and his parentage. This ensured that the worst of the old Orosian Pantheon would either be punished by the Grand Primevals, or be killed by their oft-abused mortal worshipers/subjects and other divines. Canteros also saved/spared those Orosian deities who were genuinely remorseful and repentant, including an Orosian Death god who tried sacrificing himself out of guilt even towards his brothers' crimes, and helped them reconcile with their worshipers/subjects once the Pramanthan Pantheon was founded.
    • He helped Temnobog reconcile with his older twin brother, Belyolen, by "nudging" the former's deeply-buried desire for love from underneath his resentment and anger, making him more receptive to Belyolen's tearful confessions and please to stand down. And to ensure that Temnobog recovers fully from the Elternteil Deer Pantheon's emotional abuse, Canteros directed his younger half-sister, Amour-De-Soi, to him so the Deer god of Evil could learn how to love himself for who/what he is, and arranged for various compassionate individuals to befriend Temnobog so he could have a steady source of emotional support. This resulted in the likes of Upepo, Golden Scepter, and Kaldr meeting and becoming empathetic to Temnobog's plight.
    • He helped a redeemed Princess Luna forgive both her older sister, Princess Celestia, and her own subjects for emotionally neglecting her and shunning her beautiful night. This in part allowed Luna to heal from her traumas. In turn, he also helped Celestia and the Equestrians forgive Luna for trying to bring "Eternal Night" to Equestria and sparking a brutal civil war that tore apart the country.
    • It's implied (and rumored in-universe) that he was responsible for the Sunnytowners' emotional/mental recovery and redemption for their sins, as a few entries note that after leaving both Grey Hoof and Sunnytown behind, they were able to get the help they needed through benevolent individuals such as Amour-De-Soi, Mentálne, and Blue Suede Heartstrings.
  • Blue Is Heroic: His most preferred form to appear in is that of a tall and handsome butterfly-themed Alicorn with a shimmering blue pelt, and a mane and tail made of iridescent blue energy. In terms of attire, he wears a dark royal blue hooded cloak with rainbow patterns on it. He is also Amareros' firstborn son and child, and is a completely benevolent Love deity like his father.
  • Close to Home: Much like Amareros, he hates it when people believe Love Is a Weakness and abuse those who regard Love highly. In his eyes, he sees it as no better than robbing someone of a well-deserved happy ending. Due to his stoicism, he reacts with Tranquil Fury like his adoptive aunt, Skotádi. This might stem from his origins, where (according to one theory) he was born from the karmic backlash of the Grand Primevals' invention of love-based co-existence, resulting in marriage, dates, and wedding ceremonies but also heartache, broken promises, and unanswered desires.
  • Divine Parentage: His father is Amareros, who is one of the Grand Primevals and is the oldest Love deity on Equus. However, the identity of his mother is unknown - it's speculated that either Amareros sired him with a mortal mare from an early sapient Equine species, or he was born when Amareros and Symvíosi created the concept of Co-Existence based on mutually-shared love, creating a massive abundance of marriage, dates, and wedding ceremonies but also heartache, broken promises, and unanswered desires. The latter would make Symvíosi the mother/father of Canteros if true, despite them and Amareros being siblings.
  • Doppelgänger Attack: In battle, he sometimes creates light-based clones of himself so he can multitask.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Invoked. Despite his stoic demeanor, he's a dreamer and romantic at heart, and loves nothing more than seeing people "earn their happy endings". And like Amour-De-Soi, he believes that even "evil" and "wretched" individuals, who are often scorned due to circumstances beyond their control, deserve Love as much as (in his words) the greatest gods and noblest of heroes. This largely lends to why he gets so angry whenever Love is abused/scorned - he sees it as no different than robbing someone of their well-deserved happy ending.
    • It's believed that he was responsible for Temnobog's reconciliation with Belyolen and him gaining a circle of close friends. Despite his resentment and anger, Temnobog desperately wanted to be respected and loved, which Canteros "nudged" to the forefront so the dark stag would be more receptive to Belyolen's tearful confessions and pleas to stand down. To help Temnobog recover from the haughty and puristic Elternteil Deer Pantheon's emotional abuse, Canteros arranged things so Temnobog would receive Amour-De-Soi's attention, and be befriended by empathetic individuals such as Upepo, Golden Scepter, and Kaldr, giving him the support he needed.
    • He helped the redeemed Princess Luna forgive both her older sister, Princess Celestia, and her own subjects for emotionally neglecting her and shunning her beautiful night, and vice-versa for her attempts to bring about eternal night in Equestria. This allowed Luna in part to heal from her psychological trauma.
    • He spared/saved those of the old Orosian Pantheon who were genuinely remorseful for what they did against their mortal worshipers and other deities. Among them was an Orosian Death god, the Codexverse expy/ersatz of Hades, who tried to sacrifice himself out of guilt towards even his brothers' crimes. Canteros saved him, and helped him and his surviving relatives/peers reconcile with their subjects/worshipers once the Pramanthan Pantheon was founded.
    • In general, because he embodies Requited Love and Reconciliation, he devotes himself to helping people realize their feelings for someone, and reuniting couples who had been separated either by their own failings, or the whims of cruel and fickle deities. He also helps those who have broken up with their partners acknowledge their own flaws and where they went wrong, so they could fix their broken relationships. It's noted that his domains can also apply to friends, as friendships are a platonic form of Love.
  • Eldritch Abomination: It's speculated in-universe that his true form is very powerful and eldritch just like his father, Amareros, and the rest of the Grand Primevals. And given how he often appears as a butterfly-themed Alicorn, his true form likely involves butterflies. However, few have lived to see it and leave with their minds and bodies intact, due to the Grand Primevals' terrifying rages and the warping effects their mere presence can have on even lesser divines.
  • The Empath: One of the abilities he inherited from Amareros is powerful empathy. Like his father, he can sense the presence of Love and encourage it, radiate an aura of pure Love that can weaken/kill entities that thrive entirely on negative emotions, and "emotion-bomb" people who reject love and/or break commitments to people they claimed to love. When used in conjunction with his telepathic abilities as the god of Reconciliation, he can help people feel more at ease with revealing their own flaws and other truths, allowing them to reconcile with those they had hurt. It's revealed that he caused Temnobog's famous reconciliation with Belyolen to happen by "nudging" the former's deeply-buried desire to be loved from underneath his resentment and anger, making Temnobog more open to receiving his older twin brother's tearful confessions and pleas to stand down. He also "nudged" certain empathetic individuals towards Temnobog, such as Upepo, Golden Scepter, and Kaldr, so the dark stag would receive a circle of friends that will help him recover from the Elternteil Deer Pantheon's emotional abuse.
  • Everything's Better with Rainbows: His Alicorn form is described as being iridescent in appearance, and whenever light shines on him, rainbow colors appear. He also has a Holy Halo made of rainbow light shining behind his head, and he wears a dark royal blue hooded cloak that has rainbow patterns on it. He's a benevolent and heroic, if stoic and calm god of Requited Love and Reconciliation who wants to see everyone "earn their happy endings".
  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: While he has appeared in various forms in different places over the course of history, his most preferred form is that of a tall, handsome blue Alicorn with huge yet beautiful iridescent butterfly wings, a mane and tail made of iridescent light blue energy, and a "Cutie Mark" depicting a flock of butterflies in the shape of a heart with some flying away. It's noted that whenever light shines on him, his appearance gains rainbow colors.
  • Gentle Giant: He's described as often taking the form of a tall and handsome butterfly-themed Alicorn, and whenever he appears with Amareros on the mortal planes, he's always taller than his father. He's also an incredibly warm, benevolent, and loving god despite his stoic and calm demeanor.
  • Holy Halo: He has a rainbow halo shining behind his head, as a sign of his incredible age.
  • I Should Have Been Better: He has stated that in his youth, he used to take it really hard when relationships still failed despite his best efforts. Amareros taught him that even "failures" are necessary, as relationships can potentially become stronger through being tested.
  • Immortality Bisexuality: He's the oldest son and child of Amareros, the Grand Primeval of Love and thus the oldest Love deity in the universe. And like his father, he isn't choosy about who he sleeps with, whether they be male or female. This is because, as a vastly older deity himself, falling in love and raising families with partners from all mortal races is one way for him to stay connected to mortal sapientkind.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Invoked and justified. Because he loves the idea of happy endings, Canteros can get very angry when someone interferes with a well-deserved happy ending. He also represents Requited Love as a concept, which gives him the ability to punish those who abuse/scorn people who believe in Love.
    • One notable recipient of Canteros' rage was the old Orosian Pantheon, whose members paid back their worshipers' devotion with lustful desires and extreme intolerance of perceived disobedience/disrespect, while constantly behaving like spoiled, arrogant, and petty children. Its Top God, Ouratheros, was particularly infamous for his serial womanizing and Domestic Abuse of his sister/wife, an extremely jealous and temperamental goddess of Marriage and Family. According to In-Universe claims, Canteros disguised himself as a minor Love god to sabotage the Orosian Pantheon from the inside, leading to many of its wicked members either being punished by the Grand Primevals or falling at the hooves of their own oft-abused worshipers/subjects and other divines.
  • The Leader: His divine and demi-divine brothers and sisters see him as the leader of the Amaredae. This is because he is the oldest, most experienced, and most powerful of Amareros' brood.
  • Light 'em Up: As part of his Love domain, he can use light magic, which is symbolically tied to Love's illuminating aspects. He can create dazzlingly beautiful illusions that manipulate the senses, make himself appear brighter by channeling light through his body, protect his allies with light-based barriers, fire beams of pure light, and repel darkness-based entities. He can also light the way for others and create clones of himself for multitasking, especially in battle.
  • Love Goddess: Gender-inverted. As the firstborn son and child of Amareros, he is a Love god who embodies the concepts of Requited Love and Reconciliation. He reaches out to people whose desires for love go unanswered, and helps lovers who are separated by cruel and fickle deities reunite with each other. He also serves as a mediator and peacemaker for couples that have broken up, helping them acknowledge their flaws and where they went wrong so they could repair their relationships. However, he has another aspect as the avenger of unrequited Love, and harshly punishes those who ignore the pining of others or break their hearts for their own amusement. His entry notes that his domains can also apply to friends, as friendships are a platonic form of Love.
  • Magic Hair: His mane and tail are composed of rippling, iridescent light blue energy that gains rainbow colors whenever light shines on it.
  • The Magnificent: His alternative epithet is "the Butterfly Preeminent", due to being (presumably) one of the oldest gods to be associated with butterflies.
  • Massive Numbered Siblings: Justified. His father, Amareros, is a Grand Primeval, so he tries to stay connected to mortal/divine sapientkind by hooking up with various partners and raising his children with them. As the oldest of Amareros' brood, this resulted in Canteros gaining many younger brothers and sisters over the years... though while he may get annoyed by them, he is loving towards all of his siblings and is loved/respected by them in return.
  • Master of Illusion: As part of his Love domain, he can create dazzlingly beautiful light-based illusions that manipulate the senses.
  • Mundane Utility: He can use light magic to guide others through dark places.
  • Mysterious Past: Justified. Due to being Amareros' firstborn son and child, Canteros is almost as ancient as his father, and it's debated whether he should be ranked "Primeval" or "Preeminent". His origins have been subjected to speculation - some believe he was born to Amareros and a mare from an early sapient Equine race, making him a demi-divine being who eventually Ascended to true godhood. Others believe that he was born when Amareros and his sibling, Symvíosi, created the concept of Co-Existence based on mutual Love, spawning an infant deity from the resulting abundance of marriage, dates, and wedding ceremonies but also heartache, broken promises, and unanswered desires. Canteros does state, however, that his existence predates even the ancient Alicorns themselves, as he was there when the Alicorns first came into being and when the Alicorn Civilization fell to Morning Star.
  • One to Million to One: As part of his Transformation domain, he can change himself into a gigantic swarm of blue butterflies and back to avoid enemy attacks and distract his opponents. This is something that Crystal Prism, a butterfly-themed Alicorn demigod, can also do.
  • Platinum Makes Everything Shinier: He's described as being a blue butterfly-winged Alicorn with iridescent colors, giving him a shiny, rainbow-colored appearance whenever light shines down on him. He also wears a divine set of butterfly-themed platinum regalia/armor that's inlaid with colorful gems, making him even more radiant and beautiful.
  • Pretty Butterflies: He's a Primeval/Preeminent deity who's popularly associated with butterflies due to often appearing as an ancient yet handsome butterfly-themed Alicorn with huge, iridescent butterfly wings, having the ability to transform into butterflies and back, and having butterfly agents all over the planet whether to gain information through them, or to help people in need.
  • Psychic Powers: His Love domains grant him empathy as well as precognition and retrocognition to a degree (through looking at "love ropes" that connect people), while his Reconciliation domain grants him telepathy and stronger precognition.
  • Really Gets Around: Justified. Like his father, Amareros, he had multiple relationships with both mortals and divines so he could stay connected to the people he helps. This resulted in scores of children, some of which would inevitably be outlived by their father. Due to his upbringing, Canteros loves every single family he created, and still remembers them long after some of his partners and children had died.
  • Reconcile the Bitter Foes: As the god of Reconciliation, this is part of his domain; while it mostly applies to couples who have broken up and/or those who hurt and alienated their loved ones, Canteros has also brought bitter foes together. A notable incident had him help a then-resentful and angry Temnobog reconcile with his older twin brother, Belyolen, by "nudging" his deeply-buried desire to be loved to the forefront so the dark stag would be more open to Belyolen's tearful confessions and pleas to stand down.
  • Red Baron: Known as "Love's Firstborn", and for good reason - he's Amareros' firstborn son and child, which makes him the oldest and most powerful of the Amaredae. He also takes after his father in many ways, notably his inclination towards showing a truly terrifying rage whenever he sees people scorn/abuse Love and those who regard Love highly.
  • Seers:
    • His Love domain inverts and plays it straight; his ability to see "love ropes" gives him some degree of precognition in seeing potential pairings, and also retrocognition in seeing the history of a person's love life. It's hinted through this ability that Prince Stoltur Skjöldur and his friend, Blue Suede Heartstrings, would eventually become a couple in the future due to their closeness and compatibility, despite Stoltur's inner Evil and vain nature.
    • His Reconciliation domain gives him stronger precognitive abilities that allow him to see predict future outcomes of a situation based on how they're handled in the present, giving him many options on how to solve it. Fittingly, this also allows him to help people solve their own problems.
  • Self-Duplication: He can create light-based clones of himself. This leads to a Doppelgänger Attack if he uses it to fight.
  • So Proud of You:
    • While unconfirmed In-Universe, it's rumored that he visited Golden Scepter one night and congratulated him on breaking free from his people's mistakes while atoning for his own sins instead of secluding himself like the surviving Alicorns did after their fall, becoming a loving father and truly benevolent ruler in the end.
    • He's incredibly proud of his younger sister, Amour-De-Soi, for how she handled the Elternteil Deer Pantheon's crisis, notably by convincing Belyolen to rebel against his family by encouraging him to do the right thing. According to Canteros, seeing the Elternteil Deer Pantheon's haughty and puristic rulers, High King Irminsul and High Queen Arvan, get verbally humiliated by their own radiant son for their emotional abuse of Temnobog was "very satisfying".
  • The Stoic: His entry describes him as being stoic and calm, unlike the whimsical and carefree Amareros, which makes him unnerving due to being almost as old and eldritch as his Primeval father. Part of this stems from looking after his many brothers and sisters, and having to put up with their mischief and spats.
  • Strong and Skilled: Justified. He was raised by Amareros, who despite his incredible power and age is a very benevolent and heroic god. Because of this, Canteros is a powerful and skilled Love deity who's capable of dealing as much damage as his father, to the point where it's still debated whether he qualifies as a Primeval or Preeminent deity.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: It's noted that he and his father, Amareros, look heavily similar in that they're both incredibly handsome and beautiful, even by divine standards. This echoes how in Greek mythology, Anteros was described as being similar to Eros in every way, save for their hair length and wings.
  • Telepathy: His domain of Reconciliation gives him unique telepathic abilities, which allow him to discover certain truths and flaws that people are often too prideful to admit. However, he uses his empathy in conjunction with his telepathy to help people feel more at ease with revealing them.
  • Time Abyss: Justified. Due to being Amareros' firstborn son and child, he's almost as ancient and eldritch as his father and the rest of the Grand Primevals, to the point where his divine ranking is yet to be officially determined by the Cosmic Council. It is known, however, that his existence predates even the most ancient of Alicorns, with those like Golden Scepter coming off as extremely young compared to him, and that he's younger than some of the Grand Primevals' offspring, like Ergaleía and Strife.
Canteros: I was there when the first Alicorns came into being. I was there when their civilization gasped its last breaths.
  • Tranquil Fury: Because of his stoic demeanor, he remains calm even as he gets angry at those who scorn/abuse Love and harshly punishes them for it. This makes him truly terrifying just like his father and relatives.
  • Wacky Parent, Serious Child: Subverted. He's stoic and calm whereas his father, Amareros, is whimsical and carefree... but on closer inspection, he turns out to be not so different from Amareros than is initially assumed. Canteros, like Amareros, is a romantic at heart and loves nothing more than to see people enjoy the wonders of Love, a philosophy that he also shares with his younger siblings like Amour-De-Soi. And as the god of Requited Love, he believes that everyone, even those deemed "evil" and "wretched", deserves a happy ending.
  • Winged Unicorn: His preferred form is a tall and handsome Alicorn with a shimmering blue pelt, a rippling mane and tail made of iridescent blue energy, a long horn, and large yet beautiful butterfly wings which has numbered up to ten on occasion. It's believed that he has all of the three Pony Tribes' magics because of this, but that's scratching the surface of his true power.

    Princess Carnation, the Loving Mother

Classification: Ethereal/Ascendant

Portfolio: Love, Fertility, Nurture

Rank: Divine (Tier IV/Greater)

"Everyone deserves a loving mother and to be protected by one, regardless if they are 'good' or 'evil'."

Princess Carnation (her entry here) is the Alicorn goddess of Love, Fertility, and Nurture, and a benevolent member of the Amaredae.
  • Abstract Apotheosis: Due to her father being a Grand Primeval (specifically, Amareros, the Love Primeval), she was born an Alicorn demigoddess. Later on, she would Ascend to true godhood.
  • All Your Powers Combined: As an Alicorn, she possesses the combined magics of all Pony tribes.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: She's an Alicorn-Grand Primeval hybrid goddess who embodies Love, Fertility, and Nurture.
  • Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: Her Cutie Mark depicts the silhouette of a mother hugging her child, which fits her loving, motherly personality.
  • Beauty Equals Goodness: Much like her parents, she is extremely beautiful even after becoming a goddess, and she shares her mother's love for dressing up and looking pretty. She's also a benevolent, kind, and motherly mare who embodies the concept of maternal love, and thus serves as the Amaredae's Team Mom. Her motherly nature also extends to the numerous orphans she adopted as her own throughout the Ages since her Ascension.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She is a goddess who embodies the maternal aspects of Love, and while she does have her flaws, she is genuinely kind and motherly, whether to her adoptive children or even her older half-siblings within the Amaredae. However, she does not take kindly to Abusive Parents or, like the rest of her paternal family, people abusing love in general. Being a biological daughter of a Grand Primeval whose domain of Love also empowers her the more she feels protective of others, she can be an extremely terrifying foe to face when angered.
  • Collector of the Strange: She has a collection of cards centered around love and maternal-themed holidays like "Mother's Day" and the Fourth Age's "Hearts and Hooves Day" (as well as similar holidays throughout history). She's rather enthusiastic about it.
  • Commonality Connection: She befriended Rarity due to their shared love for fashion and often hammy, dramatic personalities. She also got along very well with Elske Titanna over being motherly Love goddesses with a deep fondness for children.
  • Deity of Human Origin: She was born an Alicorn demigoddess who later Ascended to true godhood.
  • Divine Parentage: Her father is Amareros, the Love Primeval. Her mother is Heart Throb, a mortal Paradise Pony and legendary heroine from the First Age. This makes her the younger sister of Heart Throb II.
  • Drama Queen: One of her flaws, due to her nature, is that she can be overly emotional and get caught up in her own romantic tendencies at times. This has led to her getting along with Rarity Belle, who is similarly dramatic herself.
  • The Empath:
    • As a goddess of Maternal Love, she naturally has empathy, though in her case she can project an aura that makes those around her feel as if they're being loved by a mother-figure. It also allows her to sense when her children (or children in general) are in danger even on the other side of Equus, and she can grant this power to mortal mothers to help them protect their own children.
    • Her domain of Nurture also gives her an empathic ability that senses when children (or those she's motherly towards) are in emotional and/or psychological distress. This also allows her to produce an aura that passively encourages the growth of people around her.
  • Ethnic God: As an Alicorn goddess, she represents all the mortal tribes of Ponykind, which shows in the powers and chimeric traits she is able to manifest from each tribe.
  • Fan-Created Offspring: She's a fan-created daughter of Amareros (who's an Expy of the primordial god Eros) and Heart Throb of G1. This means that Baby Heart Throb of the "Baby Ponies" toyline (named Heart Throb II here) is her older sister.
  • Fertility God: She's a goddess of Fertility, giving her the power to increase the likelihood of having children, making sterile creatures fertile again, and healing/protecting people from things that would prevent them from either siring or giving birth to children safely. And like her father, Amareros, her powers extend to species that are incapable of having children due to biological differences.
  • Floral Theme Naming: She's named after the Carnation flower, which generally symbolizes love, protection, and healing.
  • Friend to All Children: As a goddess of Maternal Love, she adores children and has not only protected them, but also adopted numerous orphans over the Known Ages. She is also fiercely protective of children because of it, and utterly despises Abusive Parents.
  • Gentle Giant: As a goddess from the First Age, she's huge, being a little taller than Queen Dazzleglow. She's also a loving and motherly mare who serves as a great source of emotional support, whether the children she looks after or even her older siblings in the Amaredae.
  • God Is Flawed: While a loving and motherly goddess, she can be overly emotional and, like her mother, get caught up in her own romantic tendencies at times, making her a Drama Queen. She can also come off as being somewhat vain due to her love for dressing up and looking pretty, and can be off-putting due to sharing her father's eldritch mindset. While these flaws waned somewhat over the Ages, they are still present.
  • God Is Good: While she does have flaws, she is a benevolent, kind, and loving mare who embodies the concept of maternal love. This colors her relationships with both her fellow Amaredae, who she acts as the Team Mom, and the countless adoptive children she adopted into her care over the Ages.
  • God of Good: She is a Love Goddess who specifically embodies Maternal Love, as well as Fertility and Nurture, all which relate to the concepts of motherhood and the bearing and/or raising of children. This matches her personality as a dainty, romantic, and motherly goddess who serves as the Team Mom for anyone she takes under her care — whether the children she adopts or her fellow Amaredae (including the older ones).
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: A "Multicolored Wings" example. Being an Alicorn/Grand Primeval hybrid goddess from the First Age, she has a magical gradient on her wings going from light pink to white to show how ancient she is.
  • Happily Adopted: She has adopted countless orphans as her own since the First Age, giving them the loving mother-figure they sorely needed.
  • Hot God: She's a very beautiful goddess, but being half-Grand Primeval means that her beauty is an otherworldly one and thus her presence has a certain "offness" to it.
  • Hybrid Power: She was born an Alicorn/Grand Primeval hybrid due to her father being Amareros, the Love Primeval. Her heritage both gives her the combined magics of all Pony tribes and greatly enhances natural divine power, making her incredibly strong for a goddess her age.
  • Immortality Begins at Twenty: Subverted; as an Alicorn goddess from the First Age, she's naturally bigger than Second Age Alicorns like Queen Dazzleglow, and her hybrid Alicorn/Grand Primeval heritage makes her stronger than most deities. This is because deities get Stronger with Age in the Codexverse.
  • Interspecies Friendship: She's an Alicorn/Grand Primeval hybrid goddess whose friends included Rarity, then a mortal Unicorn, and Elske Titanna, a Jotunn Deer goddess.
  • In the Blood: She inherited both Amareros' poetic whimsy and Heart Throb's emotional, romantic nature, as well as the latter's love for dressing up and looking beautiful. This lends to a traditionally feminine, if emotional personality, though in her case she generally acts like a Proper Lady who refers to others as "darlings". And as a goddess, she specifically embodies Amareros' parental love for all his offspring, which factored into her own maternal love for everyone.
  • Large Ham: Due to inheriting her mother's emotional nature, she can get emotional and excited herself about things that relate to love, including holidays like Hearts and Hooves Day and Mother's Day. This, combined with her fondness for romance, can make her somewhat hammy when in her dramatic moods.
  • Love Goddess:
    • As a goddess of Love, she represents Maternal Love. This gives her psychic empathy, allowing her to produce an aura that makes those around her feel loved, as if by a mother. It also allows her to sense when her children are in danger even while on completely opposite sides of Equus, and can grant this sense to mortal mothers. Her domain also allows her to empower herself based on how much maternal rage and protection she feels in regards to her children, and produce love-powered flames.
    • She's also a goddess of Fertility. This gives her the ability to increase one's likelihood of bearing children, allowing couples who are normally incapable of procreation with one another (including different species) to have children, and restoring one's fertility if they're rendered sterile. It also allows her to repair physical damage that would prevent them from having children (or, if they do, cause the child(ren) to miscarry).
  • Made of Good: She has a white and reddish-pink mane and tail composed of Love energy.
  • Magic Hair: She has a white mane and tail composed of Love energy with reddish-pink stripes.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Loving Mother", due to being a goddess of Maternal Love who acts like a loving mother to both children and even those older than her.
  • Mama Bear: When enraged, especially when her children are threatened and/or harmed, she can be as terrifying as her father, and she utterly despises Abusive Parents due to her very nature. Being a goddess of Maternal Love allows her to weaponize this by empowering herself based on how angry and protective she feels, making her an implacable force when protecting children or avenging any harm inflicted on them.
  • Mystical White Hair: She has a white mane and tail with red-pink stripes, and she's a daughter of Amareros, the Love Primeval and a member of the Amaredae.
  • Our Gods Are Different: She's an Alicorn goddess, as her mother was a mortal Pony, which makes her a divine representative of mortal Ponykind and grants her access to all their tribal magics. She's also an "Ascendant" deity, the rarest of the three main types of deities, though she was born a demigoddess until she Ascended to true godhood. She also gets Stronger with Age due to her physiology being vastly different from mortals, as well as an "Ethereal" deity who embodies abstract concepts like Love and Nurture.
  • Pals with Jesus: She befriended Rarity back when the latter was a mortal Unicorn mare, due to their shared love for fashion and having hammy, dramatic personalities.
  • Parental Substitute: She would adopt orphans into her care and serve as their mother-figure, giving her children the love that their birth parents often lacked.
  • Personality Powers: Her domains of (Maternal) Love, Fertility, and Nurture all revolve around her motherly personality and desire to nurture others, including young children. It also refers to her romantic tendencies, as her Fertility domain allows her to give couples the children they desired yet can't have due to various factors.
  • Physical God: As an Alicorn goddess, she is this. While her domains aren't very suited for combat, she is still a daughter of a Grand Primeval (specifically, the Love Primeval), making her incredibly powerful by divine standards. She also embodies Maternal Love, which means that if she is protecting those under her care, she becomes much stronger, even wielding love-powered flames as part of her domain. Her father, Amareros, also taught her to be creative with her power, which combined with her age and experience makes up for her relative lack of combat power or options.
  • Pink Means Feminine: She has a light pink pelt and reddish-pink stripes in her white mane. She's also a goddess who is very loving and maternal to everyone, including young children and people older than her, and she is traditionally feminine, preferring to wear princess-like dresses and sparkling jewelry.
  • Playing with Fire: Her domain of Maternal Love allows her to produce strong, love-powered flames.
  • Princess Classic: She's a Princess by title as well as a daughter of one of the Grand Primevals, technically making her royalty as the children of Grand Primevals tend to be both feared and respected. She also prefers to wear princess-like dresses with sparkling jewelry, and is a loving, maternal, and nurturing goddess who also loves romance like her father, Amareros.
  • Psychic Powers: Her domains give her both empathy and a psychic intuition pertaining to people's needs and how to best nurture them.
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: She has a light pink pelt and reddish-pink stripes in her white mane. While she can be a Drama Queen at times, she's a genuinely loving, maternal, and nurturing goddess, and often acts like the Team Mom of the Amaredae — even to members who are vastly older than her like Canteros. She also loves children, adopting numerous orphans as her own children, and can be very protective of them. It's safe to say that being an abusive parent to children (or just mistreat them in general) is one good way to quickly earn her wrath.
  • Semi-Divine: Due to her father being one of the Grand Primevals, she was born an Alicorn demigoddess. She later Ascends to true godhood.
  • Super-Empowering: She empowered the deceased spirit of Pepper Cook Vaughoof-Manes, the mother of brothers Sunny Field Vaughoof and Moon Ray Vaughoof, and transformed her into an Angel of Motherhood, which gave her abilities relating to maternal love.
  • Team Mom: Because of her loving, motherly, and nurturing personality, she often acts as the "Team Mom" of the Amaredae. While she naturally extends her maternal instincts to those younger than her, she also acts motherly even to older members like Canteros.
  • Thinks Like a Romance Novel: Like her mother, Heart Throb, she is a romantic at heart and dotes over the romances of others. One of her flaws, due to her emotional nature, is that she can get caught up in her romantic tendencies at times.
  • Walking the Earth: Following the end of the First Age, after overcoming her grief regarding the deaths of her mortal family (including her mother), she would travel Equus, helping and supporting mothers and children in need of aid while giving couples who couldn't have children naturally the ability to do so.
  • Who Wants to Live Forever?: She learned the hard way that being an immortal goddess meant that she ends up not only outliving the Age she came from, but also all her mortal friends and family, including her mother Heart Throb. Fortunately, both Amareros and her many siblings in the Amaredae would help her through it.
  • Winged Unicorn: Her entry describes her as a light pink-furred Alicorn with a white and reddish-pink-striped mane and tail composed of Love energy. Due to her father being Amareros and Ascending to godhood in the First Age, she's slightly taller than Queen Dazzleglow and her wings have a gradient going from light pink to white, though her presence has a certain 'offness' to it.

    Amour-De-Soi, the Mirror of Self-Esteem

Classification: Ethereal

Portfolio: Love, Self-Love, Self-Esteem

Rank: Divine (Tier IV/Greater)

"We are all better than we think we are."

Amour-De-Soi (her entry here) is a member of the Amaredae, the biological divine and demi-divine children of the Love Primeval, Amareros.

Like her many brothers and sisters, she embodies Love - specifically, the concept of Self-Love. While Self-Love generally has a negative connotation, as people mistake it for Narcissism, Amour-De-Soi sees both concepts as being completely different from each other: Self-Love is all about confidence, acceptance, and generally feeling good about yourself, while Narcissism is a perversion that involves excessive interest in one's self to the point where they become arrogant and lose their empathy for others.

Because of what she embodies, Amour-De-Soi harbors great hatred towards those who try to break and/or demean others' self-worth, as such cruelty is anathema to her concept and enrages her terribly. This led to the creation of the Bogolenya Deer pantheon - while watching over the Elternteil Deer pantheon, she grew disgusted and angry with its members' arrogance and emotional abuse of the dark god Temnobog, who was shunned and mistreated just for being born "evil". Temnobog's twin brother, Belyolen, would encounter Amour-De-Soi during a moment of great stress; he was upset that he overheard his parents and siblings consideration of killing Temnobog, yet couldn't bring himself to break his family's hearts by rebelling. Amour-De-Soi encouraged the radiant stag to do the right thing, which led to Belyolen confronting and calling out his family on their abusive hypocrisy, and taking both Temnobog and their many regretful siblings with him.[WIP]
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: She's an Alicorn/Grand Primeval hybrid goddess who embodies Love, Self-Love, and Self-Esteem.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: She motivated Belyolen to leave behind his abusively hypocritical family and form the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon by asking him what he would do if he saw someone else in Temnobog's situation, abused and terrorized for merely existing.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She's very empathetic and encouraging, especially towards those who suffer from low self-esteem, and has been known to save suicidal individuals by telling them that they are truly much better than they think they are. She also has essentially served as a therapist for Temnobog, who was the victim of childhood emotional abuse from his family (especially High King Irminsul) for being born "evil", and has been encouraging him to feel better about himself while ignoring how others look down on him. However, like her father, Amareros, she can be terrifying when enraged, and hates those who abuse and/or break people's self-worth. Notably, the Elternteil Deer Pantheon splintered because she encouraged Belyolen to do the right thing after the latter overheard his family discussing whether they should kill Temnobog, and she helped her father lay low the entire Summer Court in retaliation for the failed attempt by some Changeling Kings to subjugate Amareros for their own selfish purposes.
  • Birds of a Feather: Platonic example. As Self-Love/Esteem is deeply tied to the accessibility of one's inner potential, she gets along with Luminiferous extremely well, and they have worked together to bring out the best in people. Her entry also notes that she has befriended other Love-based deities such as Princess Cadence, Queen Wibeti, and Elske Titanna for having similar domains and concepts.
  • Close to Home: Much like her father, Amareros, she does not tolerate people who threaten, pervert, or treat the concept of Love with disdain. In her case, as the Alicorn goddess of Self-Love, she sees narcissists as people who pervert her concept, and she hates those who break and/or demean others' sense of self-worth, which makes her wrath towards such individuals as cold, terrible, and unforgiving as Amareros.
    • Both her and Belyolen's entries reveal that she was indirectly responsible for the split of the Elternteil Deer pantheon, having been completely disgusted with its members' emotionally abusive treatment of Temnobog; when a younger Belyolen overheard his family consider killing Temnobog altogether and was at a loss over what to do, she encouraged him to do the right thing, which led to Belyolen calling out his family on their arrogant hypocrisy and leaving with both Temnobog and several other siblings to form the Bogolenya Deer pantheon.
    • She also helped Amareros lay low the entire Summer Court in retribution for the Changeling Kings' failed attempt to subjugate her father for their own selfish purposes, being extremely angered by their views of Love as little more than a resource and a tool of manipulation. At Amareros' behest, she used her shield-mirror, True Image, on the Changeling Kings; according to her, none of them liked what they saw. The only reason why the Summer Court wasn't completely obliterated was because Emperor Blackthorn, the Summer Court's Progenitor, was forced to bargain with Amareros in exchange for his sons' lives.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: In one incident, she and Prince Steel Barricade teamed up and protect Mitta from a group of Poenan deities by utterly thrashing them as punishment for ruthlessly trying to judge someone who had already atoned for their sins. It's noted that Amour-De-Soi would show the Poenan deities their monstrous reflections with True Image while Steel Barricade used lightning strikes on them.
  • Divine Parentage: Her father is Amareros, the oldest Love god in existence and one of the Grand Primevals, a group of extremely ancient and powerful deities whose collective existence either came about during the beginning of Equus, or before the planet's birth. Her mother is an unnamed Alicorn goddess.
  • The Empath: As the daughter of the first Love god in existence, she is quite empathetic, and is able to see everyone's true selves and understand them, whether they are good or bad. This is what allowed her to connect with Temnobog, as she saw an emotionally broken stag who was abused by his family simply for existing despite his inner evil, and thus spent years trying to help him raise his self-confidence. Irminsul's entry notes that it is empathy that allowed her to sense Belyolen's long-suppressed feelings of sorrow, disgust, and anger towards his family's emotional abuse of Temnobog, and get him to rebel by asking him what he would do if he saw someone else in his brother's situation.
  • Fantastic Racism: Implied to be on the receiving end. Many members of the Elternteil Deer Pantheon look down on the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon for being welcoming and tolerant of non-Deer/hybrid divines, which presumably included her. When High King Irminsul spouted racist things about the non-Deer/hybrid Bogolenya deities during his argument with Belyolen and Temnobog, an enraged Golden Scepter confronted him in his true divine form and gave him an epic "The Reason You Suck" Speech in front of everyone. This scared Irminsul so badly that he now avoids the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon on the off-chance that Golden Scepter might be there if he visits.
  • Heinz Hybrid: From what is implied from various entries, she's half-Alicorn and half-Cosmic Entity through Amareros.
  • Love Goddess: She's an Alicorn goddess who embodies Love, and is one of the Amaredae, a group of Love-based deities who are her brothers and sisters due to their ties to Amareros as his biological children. In her case, while she does have the abilities typical of a Love-based deity, she specifically embodies the concepts of Self-Love and Self-Esteem. Because of this, she has been reaching out to self-loathing and despairing individuals from even the brink of suicide so she can save them, and help teach them how to love themselves. That being said, she treats both narcissists and the concept of Narcissism with great contempt, seeing them as perversions of Self-Love entirely.
  • The Mirror Shows Your True Self: True Image's entire purpose is to show people who look into it their true selves, which can be eitehr a good thing (assuring them that they are much stronger and better than they think) or a bad thing (showing people how monstrous and twisted they've become through wicked actions and feeling miserable about themselves, devastating them). In the case of the latter, seeing one's reflection can provoke a Rage Against the Reflection reaction.
  • Narcissist: Defied and averted. Despite embodying Self-Love, she is not a narcissist, and treats the concept of narcissism with great contempt because she sees it as a perversion of Self-Love. Rather, Self-Love involves people accepting themselves as who they are, flaws included, and loving themselves as they are.
  • Pink Means Feminine: She has a pink mane and tail, and she's the Alicorn goddess of Self-Love/Esteem who helps people become more confident and accept themselves for who they are.
  • Rage Against the Reflection: Invoked and weaponized. Using her shield-mirror, True Image, she can show people who look into it their true selves, which can be either a good thing (assuring them that they are much stronger and better than they think) or a bad thing (showing people how monstrous and twisted they've become through wicked actions and feeling miserable about themselves, devastating them).
    • In one incident, at the behest of her father, Amareros, Amour-De-Soi used True Image on several Changeling Kings of the Summer Court, who (in her words) weren't very happy with what they saw. Her entry notes that True Image also has the power to pierce through magical illusions and mind-control spells, something that she also possesses as an innate power.
    • In another incident, a group of Poenan divines tried attacking Mitta on the reasoning that she didn't receive a "proper" punishment, not caring that she already atoned for her sins. Amour-De-Soi would team up with Prince Steel Barricade in protecting Mitta, with the former devastating them by having True Image show off their monstrous reflections while Steel Barricade used lightning strikes on the Poenan deities.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Invoked with Belyolen. After encountering him during his moment of upset, she encouraged Belyolen to rebel against his abusive family by asking him what he would do if he saw someone being abused for existing like Temnobog. This led to Belyolen calling out the entire Elternteil Deer Pantheon for their abusive hypocrisy and leaving with a large portion of his family to found the Bogoleya Deer Pantheon.
  • Sympathy for the Devil: Similarly to Golden Scepter, she is incredibly empathetic to Temnobog's suffering despite the latter being regarded as the equivalent of Satan among mortal Deerkind. Notably, she has played a role in the founding of the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon due to being disgusted by the Elternteil Deer Pantheon's arrogant hypocrisy and emotional abuse of Temnobog for simply existing. Because she embodies Self-Love and Self-Esteem, she has essentially served as his therapist for years, helping Temnobog learn how to accept himself for who and what he is, and ignore what others think of him for being born a God of Evil.
  • There Are No Therapists: Averted. Because she embodies Self-Love and Self-Esteem, she is technically a divine therapist, though not to the level of Mentálne, a purely psychiatric goddess who embodies Mental Healing and Psychology. Because of this, she has helped many individuals, both divine and mortal, over the years by bolstering their self-confidence and teaching them how to accept themselves for who they are.
    • She was allowed to hang around the Bogolenya Deer pantheon because her presence and concepts proved extremely beneficial for Temnobog, who became a broken stag after suffering a lifetime of horrific emotional, mental, and physical abuse at the hooves of the Elternteil Deer pantheon just for being born a God of Evil. Because of this, Amour-De-Soi has been trying to encourage him to feel better about himself regardless of his inner evil, and to ignore how others look down on him.
    • She has been working with Mentálne to help Mitta recover from centuries of psychological abuse at the hooves of Grey Hoof and his followers by bolstering her self-confidence, and teaching her to accept both her physical limitations and the good deeds she has done, rather than focus on her past sins and worry about not doing "enough". After a group of Poenan deities tried attacking Mitta to punish her for her ties to Grey Hoof and crimes she already atoned for, Amour-De-Soi encouraged her to keep doing good things and maintain her moral strength so she can prove her detractors wrong, exposing them as the pathetic people they really are.
  • Winged Unicorn: Her entry describes her as a yellow Alicorn goddess with a pink mane and tail. It's noted that her wings are quite similar to those possessed by Amareros, and that her unnamed mother is also an Alicorn goddess.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: As the Alicorn goddess of Self-Love and Self-Esteem, she is very good with words, and is able to craft rousing speeches to bolster people's self-confidence and overcome their lack of self-worth and/or self-loathing.
    • This is what she has been doing with Temnobog for years after the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon was formed. Being emotionally, mentally, and physicall abused as a fawn by his Elternteil Deer family, relatives, and peers for simply existing left Temnobog psychologically broken, so Amour-De-Soi has been teaching him how to love himself for who he is and ignore other people's opinions about him.
    • She has also been doing this with Mitta, the Guardian of the Equestrian Everfree forest. Because Grey Hoof and his followers psychologically abused Mitta for centuries, there's quite a lot of scars left, leaving Mitta self-deprecating and self-doubting at times. Amour-De-Soi has been helping Mitta recover by increasing her confidence so she could accept her good deeds rather than focus on the bad. And after a failed attempt by the Poenan pantheon to "punish" Mitta for her connection to Grey Hoof and her role in Ruby Heart's death (which she and Steel Barricade foiled), Amour-De-Soi would encourage Mitta to prove them wrong by continuing to do good and never letting her moral strength diminish.
    • Phoenix King Naur, despite being the successful ruler of the Caearnarian Deer Herds and its local pantheon, had been emotionally abused by the Elternteil Deer Pantheon for years due to embodying Fire, leaving him with issues like a massive inferiority complex and deep anger issues. Amour-De-Soi has been helping him overcome this by focusing on his achievements and encouraging him to feel better about himself and his Fire domain.
    • Princess Winter Opera was frequently bullied and scorned since fillyhood for being an illegitimate daughter of War Rock, causing her to feel guilty for the suffering her father caused and obligated to atone for it. Amour-De-Soi has been helping her rebuild her self-esteem by encouraging her not to let people's opinions of her affect her too much.

    Amina, the Selfless Saint

Classification: Ethereal/Ascendant

Portfolio: Love, Selfless Love, Healing, Protection

Rank: Divine (Tier IV/Greater)

"They say that Love is universal, and I intend to make that true for EVERYONE. Even for those who supposedly don't 'deserve' it."

Amina (her entry here) is the Griffon goddess of Love, Selfless Love, Healing, and Protection, and is another benevolent member of the Amaredae.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: Embodies Love, Selfless Love, Healing, and Protection.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Her feathers and fur are described as being blue with golden-yellow markings. Her wings, on the other hand, are purely golden-yellow. All of them gained shimmering and iridescent properties after she Ascended to true godhood. It's because of her color scheme that she's often believed to be a divine ancestor/relative of Gallus, a young Griffon attending the School of Friendship. She is a kind, selfless, and benevolent Griffon goddess who embodies the concept of Selfless Love, and wants to spread Love to everyone who needs it.
  • Divine Parentage: Her father is Amareros, one of the Grand Primevals and the oldest Love god in existence. In a roundabout way, she's often believed to be a divine ancestor/relative of Gallus, a Griffon student (and later alumni) from the School of Friendship and current Bearer of Magic.
  • Impractically Fancy Outfit: Implied. Despite being a goddess, she prefers simple, loose-fitting, and comfortable clothes, and often wears thick and warm traveling cloaks to shield herself from cold and rain. Many gods and goddesses - including some of her own siblings - have tried making her wear something that is more regal and appropriate for her divine station... which, unfortunately for her, often turn out to be uncomfortable and itchy for her. She sympathizes with Blue Suede Heartstrings over this, as he, too, had been frequently forced to wear similar things in order to look more the dignified Alicorn god he's supposed to be.
    Amina: This thing ITCHES!
  • The Prankster: She's noted to have a mischievous side, and likes playing small practical jokes and making goofy faces. This makes her popular and beloved among children.
  • Semi-Divine: She was born to Amareros and a kindhearted mortal Griffoness in response to mortal Griffonkind's growing patterns of arrogance, complacency, and xenophobia that eventually created the Autorists. She would eventually Ascend to true godhood after years of learning under her divine father, and spreading the joys and wonder of Love alongside her older/younger brothers and sisters.
  • Time Abyss: She's actually old enough for many people to debate on whether she was born in the First Age or Second Age... including the writers/authors of the Codex Equus project. Even she gets on this, and often jokes with Blue Suede Heartstrings about who's the older deity of the two (which is complicated by the fact that Blue has acted as a father figure for her).
  • Walking the Earth: Justified. As the Griffon goddess of Selfless Love, she believes that everyone deserves to be loved, regardless if they are "good" or "bad", so she constantly travels the world in order to spread Love to those who need it. That and she really loves traveling and performing music for others. This led to her befriending deities like Vehere and Sultana Sahra', who embody Traveling and Exploration, respectively, as well as fellow globe-trotting musician Blue Suede Heartstrings, who has frequently crossed paths with her and has sometimes traveled with her.

    Queen Peínagápia, the Hungering Love

Classification: Ethereal, Devourer, Dark/Evil, Giant

Portfolio: Love, Beauty, Power, Sovereignty, Indulgence

Rank: Divine (Tier V/Titan)

Affiliation: Amaredae (main), Tauren Peninsula

"I have been selfless for too long with my love... now, it is time for me to be selfish."

Queen Peínagápia (her entry here) is the Giganticorn of Love, Beauty, Power, Sovereignty, and Indulgence, and is one of the darker members of the Amaredae.

Queen Peínagápia denied her own desires for too long, until she couldn't deny it any longer, becoming utterly consumed by them. Now, she is an affable but depraved Giant Alicorn goddess who indulges in endless debaucheries and feasting upon all beings and lands which fell under her influence and domination, forever craving for love from those who received hers.
  • Abstract Apotheosis: She used to embody courtly, chaste, and "good" versions of Love, Beauty, Power, and Sovereignty. But after her Eldritch Transformation, she now embodies the corrupted and unfettered versions of her domains. She also gained the domain of Indulgence after accepting that it's okay to indulge herself instead of repressing herself in order to stay "good", and embraced her repressed desires for what they really were.
  • Affably Evil: Despite presently being a debauched, ravenous goddess of unbridled lust and passion, she's still the friendly and generous mare she once was, and her parties and feasts (including ones held in her honor) are known for being extravagently plentiful, though they often descend into hedonistic orgies later on. She also welcomes people of all races into the aforementioned events, Giant or not.
  • All Your Powers Combined: As a Giganticorn, she possesses the combined magic of all Equine Giant races, just like how a normal Alicorn embodies all non-Giant Pony tribes.
  • Animalistic Abomination:
    • Before her transformation, she was this to a degree as a "Titan"-ranked goddess, with eldritch traits like a golden-orange mane and tail made of Love energy, a halo made of Sovereignty energy, and two pairs of wings with feathers made of Beauty energy and a gradient going from magenta to golden-orange. Her mane and tail displayed somewhat clear images of courtly, chaste love and beauty, and of benevolent divine and mortal sovereigns bringing prosperity and happiness. Her Cutie Mark was a bright red heart surrounded by golden filigree with a fancy, golden crown on top.
    • After her transformation, she became a much more eldritch goddess with Draconic traits like a scaled underbelly, a pair of horns, slitted eyes, and fiery draconic wings growing out of her normal ones. Her pelt also went from magenta to maroon with black gradients, while her mane, tail, and wing feathers became brighter and more fiery. Her hooves also gained ‘fetlocks’ made of pure fire. Her mane and tail now showed more carnal images of love and lust, with creatures from all walks of life fornicating with each other, while both mortal and divine sovereigns indulged in their deepest desires. Even her Cutie Mark changed to a molten, white-crowned heart with lava dripping from it down her flanks.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: She's a Giganticorn goddess who formerly embodied Love, Beauty, Power, and Sovereignty. Following her Eldritch Transformation, she gained the domain of Indulgence.
  • Arch-Enemy: One of the more persistent and formidable foes of the Tauren Giant Pantheon(s) and other gods, heroes and realms within and near the Tauren Giant Lands.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: Despite her wish to be punished for the Roaring Rampage of Revenge that left her former lands a Soiled City on a Hill, she was instead appointed as a divine punisher for Equine Giantkind by the Grand Primevals. At first, she treated her duties as atonement for her supposed "crimes". Then both the Amaredae and a disguised Joyous Freedom asked her if she'd rather enjoy everything her birth parents deemed to be sinful instead of living as a tortured, love-starved, and underappreciated servant, which seriously got her thinking. With Joyous Freedom's help, she ultimately chose to break away from her birth parents' puristic, restrictive teachings and embraced her desires as they truly were, gaining the domain of Indulgence.
  • Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance:
    • Her Cutie Mark, prior to her fall and transformation, depicted a bright red heart surrounded by golden filigree with a fancy, golden crown on top. This represented her feminine sovereignty, love, and beauty. After her transformation, her Cutie Mark turned into a molten, white-crowned heart with lava dripping down her flanks from it, representing how her repressed passions and desires have utterly consumed her.
    • Her presently eldritch form now resembles a Dragon, with traits like a scaled underbelly, a pair of horns, slitted eyes, and fiery Draconic wings growing out of her normal wings. As Dragons are known for their domineering, instinctual Greed, this resonates with the love-hunger she developed as a consequence of her self-repression warping her mind and nature.
  • The Atoner: Deconstructed. After years of being a good and selfless Queen, she eventually snaps from the pressure of trying to live up to her reputation, which leads to a Roaring Rampage of Revenge of epic proportions. When she discovers her rampage led to her transforming into a demonic goddess, she is so horrified that she desired to be punished for her "crimes", thinking that she's no better than Fallen deities like Morning Star for just one moment of weakness. She even initially treated her divinely-appointed duty as a Destroyer Deity as a form of penance. However, the Grand Primevals and their children are more understanding, since her parents and people essentially mistreated her by holding her to ridiculously high moral standards and then exploiting her for her love, and helped her see that there's nothing wrong in indulging in one's desires. Her embracing her own repressed desires as part of her gave her the domain of Indulgence, representing her new understanding.
  • Barrier Warrior: As a goddess of Love, she can manifest barriers made of Love energy.
  • Beauty Is Bad: As a goddess of Beauty, she is supernaturally beautiful. While she originally was a benevolent goddess who embodied a chaste version of Beauty, a series of events — compounded by years of psychological self-repression — led to her transforming into an eldritch, Draconic goddess who possesses a tempting, demonic version of beauty. She's also an utterly depraved being who is so consumed by her own desires that she corrupts entire civilizations with her dominating influence in her quest for love, and gorges herself on even entire pantheons that catches her eye (and lust). However, as she follows "Constructive Evil", she generally reserves her worst behaviors for the unrepentantly wicked and/or corrupt.
  • Beauty Equals Goodness: Prior to her downfall and transformation, she was widely beloved in her lands for being an extremely beautiful and virtuous Queen, and as a goddess, she embodied courtly, chaste versions of Love and Beauty. Sadly, she fell out of this due to a combination of self-repression and people exploiting her generosity for their own gain, causing her to snap when the stress and abuse got to her.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Before her fall and transformation, she was a reserved and dignified, yet loving, compassionate, and generous Queen who welcomed all into her lands with open hooves. She was also a charismatic leader who sought to bring out her subjects' best qualities. However, after years of having her generosity and love exploited by her own people, she eventually reached her Rage Breaking Point and, in her Roaring Rampage of Revenge, left the lands she once ruled over as smoking, desolate ruins.
  • Big Eater: Devoured countless lands and beings to sate her bottomless hunger for love.
  • Bigger on the Inside: Implied and standard as to Deities, Giants, and Devourers. Her innards are bottomless, allowing her to pretty much eat as many lands, kingdoms and pantheons as she desires to feed on their love inside her.
  • Breaking the Cycle of Bad Parenting: Her birth parents, though well-meaning, indoctrinated her to become so virtuous, humble, and selfless that she psychologically repressed her own desires in order to be "good" according to their standards. When she became a mother herself, she would treat her own children much better than her birth parents did her, though she's not above sleeping with her children as well.
  • Caged Inside a Monster: Everyone and everything which fell under her influence and domination are liable to eventually be consumed and trapped in her body, where she would sate her lust upon them and feed upon their love forever.
  • Consuming Passion: Literally, due to having become so utterly consumed by her hunger and lust she would devour countless lands and beings to sate her ravenous lust and appetite for love, after indulging in endless debauchery with and upon them first.
  • The Corrupter: Following her Face–Heel Turn, she serves as this as part of her divinely-appointed duty as a constructively evil punisher who tests both Giant and "Tiny" mortals and deities. Using her domains, she brings out people's deepest, darkest desires, making them more inclined to hedonistic debauchery and lust just as she showers them with love and prosperity. If her targets resist her temptations, then she spares them. If they don't, she punishes them by ravishing, dominating, and devouring them to torment them for their crimes eternally within her gullet.
  • Create Your Own Villain: The Tauren Peninsula wouldn't have been menaced by her continuously if the Equine Giants living there hadn't decided to suck all the love and generosity out of her yet give back so little in return, back when she was a good and heroic Queen.
  • Dark Is Evil: She used to have a magenta pelt, but after her transformation, her pelt became maroon (dark red) with black gradients. She's a love-hungry, demonic goddess who tempts and/or corrupts her targets into participating in carnal passions, with many civilizations she created following her transformation inevitably falling into depravity because of her influence. However, she is an Affably Evil goddess who follows "Constructive Evil", and as a divine punisher, she cuts loose when dealing with peoople she deems unrepentantly wicked.
  • De-power: Pre-transformation, as a goddess of Power, she can essentially depower people. This causes attacks from enemies to be less damaging than they would have bee without the divinely-imposed restraint.
  • Depraved Bisexual: Having accepted even her darkest desires during her psychological recovery, she became an utterly depraved goddess who has no qualms over corrupting the people around her in order to satiate her bottomless love-hunger, with her male and female lovers inevitably being devoured. Any party hosted by her (or hosted by others in her honor) inevitably fall into unrestrained hedonism thanks to her carnal influence. She's also not above sleeping with her own sons and daughters. However, as a "Constructively Evil" goddess who works as a divine punisher, she only goes after people who chose not to repent their wicked ways — only those she deems innocent and/or repentant are spared.
  • Discard and Draw: Pre-transformation, she embodied the courtly and chaste aspects of Love, Beauty, Power, and Sovereignty, with her powers revolving around empowerment, restraint, and support. Post-transformation, she embodies the debauched and depraved aspects of her domains, inspiring the same passionate feelings she once guarded against to the point of being The Corrupter. She also has the domain of Indulgence, which came from her new understanding of her own desires and, while not necessarily evil by itself, can be taken to unfettered extremes.
  • Eldritch Transformation: She had repressed her desires so much that when she finally snapped and went on her Roaring Rampage of Revenge, she transformed into a demonic-looking goddess with Draconic traits like a pair of horns, slitted eyes, a scaled underbelly, and fiery Draconic wings growing out of her normal wings. Her legendary beauty also gained a tempting, demonic quality to it. When she discovered what happened to her, she broke down in guilt over letting herself become the monster her birth parents feared she would become.
  • Elemental Hair Composition: Following her transformation, her mane, tail, and wing feathers not only became brighter and more fiery, but she also gained "fetlocks" made of pure fire.
  • Emotion Eater: As a goddess of Love, she possesses the ability to outright drain love from her victims, which she gained after her Face–Heel Turn and ensuing transformation.
  • Emotion Suppression: Deconstructed. In trying to stay "good" according to her parents' wishes and standards on goodness, she ended up repressing her own desires so she could properly provide for her subjects. While she became an extremely beloved Queen, it also made her unwilling to ask for anything in return, causing her people to exploit her generosity knowing that she would be fine with receiving very little for her efforts. Despite receiving advice from both the Amaredae and a disguised Joyous Freedom to stop repressing her desires, she ignored it, assuming she could handle the problem herself... only for things to backfire in the worst possible way that led to her trasforming into a demonic goddess with a ravenous love-hunger. She broke down out of guilt, but the Amaredae and Joyous Freedom didn't blame her because her parents' indoctrination was largely at fault, and helped her come to terms with her repressed desires. She eventually accepted that it's okay to indulge herself even if it is "evil" and embraced her desires, giving her the domain of Indulgence.
  • The Empath:
    • As a goddess of Love, she possessed empathy, though she used it to inspire a tamer version of love back when she embodied Courtly Love. After her transformation into a goddess of Manic Love, she inspired the same unbridled feelings of passion and lust she once guarded against, with the additional ability of inflicting jealousy and obsession.
    • As a goddess of Indulgence, she has empathic abilities to sense people's deepest desires and bring them to the surface. She can also produce an empathic aura that magnifies people's emotions like greed, lust, and gluttony. With this ability, she can cause even the most virtuous sovereigns to fall into complete debauchery as she did.
  • Energy Weapon: As a goddess of Love, she can fire beams of Love energy.
  • Equivalent Exchange: This is how she rationalizes her own ravenous hunger and depraved lusts, following her personal epiphany. To those who fell under her influence, she gives them boundless and unconditional love. In exchange, she expects them to eventually give her their boundless and unconditional love, even if it meant being sent to her gullet and used as an eternal source of love for her to feed on.
  • Evil Counterpart: To both Blue Suede Heartstrings (now King Caerulus Melodia Equestria-Corporatum) and High Queen Arvan, who are similarly beloved deities and divine rulers.
    • Like Peínagápia, Blue Suede/Caerulus grew up on puristic teachings on virtue and goodness, becoming a god of Humility, yet ended up either exploited by those who saw him as a meal ticket, or hated for what he represented, leading to his breakdown. However, he was saved from turning into a Nightmare Alicorn and ultimately recovered, developing more tolerant views on good and evil. After re-Ascending as a reincarnation 'clone' of Mana Equus, the Empyrean Magician with new, positive domains like Mana and Musical Magic, he became the King of a divine pantheon. Peínagápia was a virtuous Queen who physically and psychologically corrupted herself after snapping from years of extreme self-repression, turning herself into a demonic Giganticorn with a bottomless love-hunger. While she did recover like Blue Suede did and accepted her repressed desires, she became a divine punisher instead, testing mortals by promoting unfettered, hedonistic desire and passion.
    • Like Peínagápia, Arvan was raised by well-meaning yet strict parental figures who had pursitic views on virtue and goodness, eventually succeeding them as ruler of her native pantheon and getting married to a god who would co-rule alongside her. In public, she is praised by her people for being everything a traditional Queen and goddess should be, but privately she's utterly miserable because of the ridiculously high and misogynistic standards she had to follow, yet couldn't do anything about it due to being unwilling to break away from the rules and lessons that defined her. Arvan later gathers the courage to leave and seek psychiatric help, while Peínagápia ignored the advice she received and eventually corrupted herself after she snapped from everything she had to endure. Ironically, Arvan was a haughty, self-righteous, and emotionally abusive mother to her children, while Peínagápia pre-corruption was a loving mother to her own children until she snapped and devoured them all in an extreme, emotional frenzy.
  • Evil Is Hammy: Following her acceptance of her repressed desires, she embraced her Giant heritage more, becoming hammy, loud, and dramatic with a domineering presence like many of her fellow Equine Giants. She's also a constructively evil goddess afflicted with a ravenous love-hunger that she wants to satiate at any cost, and is not above corrupting entire civilizations if it'll get her the love she wants, though generally cuts loose with unrepentantly evil ones.
  • Extreme Libido: Having denied her own desires for too long, she is now utterly consumed by her passion, with her lust being described as literally all-consuming and ravenous.
  • Extreme Omnisexual: As part of her Love Hungry personality, she is willing to sleep with just about anyone of any species, gender, or age, whether they are divine or mortal. Among others, she has slept with Queen Ekhidna, Blue Suede Heartstrings, multiple Equine Giants and 'Tinies', and her own children. During her Roaring Rampage of Revenge, she ravished her own parents and husband before devouring them as her first victims. This is justified as she was indoctrinated by her birth parents to be The High Queen her pantheon and subjects wanted, to the point of repressing her own desires. Needless to say this had horrible consequences for everyone involved. After accepting her desires, however, she gains the domain of Indulgence and freely indulges in her lust as part of her new understanding, reserving the worst aspects of herself for the unrepentantly wicked and/or corrupt.
  • Face–Heel Turn: She was once the Queen of her own Giant Pantheon, widely beloved for her purity, selflessness, love, and generosity. However, after years of self-repression and being taken for granted by others, she eventually snapped and devoured both her pantheon and mortal worshipers to make them give her the love she felt she deserved. One of the first people she had her way with was her own husband, and went on from there.
  • Fallen Hero: She was an extremely beloved Giganticorn Queen who gave her subjects endless love and beauty, and ushered the lands she ruled over into a golden age. A combination of being exploited by everyone around her, psychological self-repression of her own desires, and entering a period of reproductive heat caused her to snap and ravage the lands she ruled over in a mixed state of arousal and fury, transforming herself into a demonic goddess with a ravenous love-hunger that truly couldn't be satiated.
  • God-Eating: During her Roaring Rampage of Revenge, she devoured the pantheon she once ruled over in revenge for them exploiting her generosity for years instead of helping her with her psychological issues. After being appointed as a divine punisher by the Grand Primevals, she proceeded to devour more Giant deities and pantheons over the years, but only those she deemed to be irredeemably wicked and/or guilty of serious crimes. This enhanced her natural divine power far past what she would typically have as a goddess her age.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: A "Multicolored wings" and "Cluster wings" example. As a "Titan"-ranked goddess, she has two wings, and before her transformation, she had a magical wing gradient going from magenta to golden-orange. After her transformation, she gained fiery Draconic wings that grew out of her normal wings.
  • Happily Adopted: Sometime after ravishing and devouring her birth parents, she ends up being adopted into the Amaredae by Amareros, the Love Primeval, who sympathized with her troubles regarding how her birth parents treated her and wanted to give her the familial love she deserved.
  • Happily Married: Surviving accounts of her old life In-Universe indicated she was a loving wife to her first husband and had many children together, back when she was the Queen of her own pantheon. However, this gradually evolved into an Awful Wedded Life as she grew increasingly frustrated with everyone taking advantage of her, with her husband either doing nothing or being one of many who exploited her for her generosity. Eventually, she snapped and proceeded to not only ravish her husband during her Roaring Rampage of Revenge, but also devour him for his treatment of her.
  • Hates Their Parent: Presently, she despises her birth parents for how their morally puristic stance on love and goodness caused her to repress her own desires, which also led to her own pantheon and mortal subjects exploiting her knowing she won't ask for much in return. She did ravish and devour them during her first rampage as payback, but the traumatic consequences of their raising of her continues to affect her long after the fact.
  • The Hedonist: After ages of selflessly denying her own desires and giving her boundless love to her pantheon and subjects/worshippers without expecting thanks in return (to the point they took her for granted), after becoming utterly consumed by her lust and hunger she now indulges in endless debauchery and feasting upon the world in her ravenous appetite for love and passion she now desires in return.
  • The High Queen: Deconstructed. In the past, she was a legendary Queen famed for her beauty, love, and generosity, but she only became that way because her birth parents indoctrinated her all her life to repress all of her "sinful" desires in order to become truly benevolent. In doing so, she became so focused on satisfying everyone that they all started taking her for granted, essentially treating her like a servant knowing she would be satisfied with meager rewards. This gradually takes a toll on her mind until she snaps while in a state of arousal, sending her on a rampage that turned the lands she ruled over into smoking, desolate ruins while corrupting her into a being with a bottomless love-hunger. While she has since accepted her repressed desires and keeps her Queenly title, she no longer rules, only serving as a divine punisher who tests both Giant and 'Tiny' realms to see if they would resist her temptations.
  • Holy Halo: She has a halo made of Sovereignty energy. This remained even after she transformed into a more eldritch goddess.
  • Hot Wings: Following her Eldritch Transformation, she gained gained fiery Draconic wings which grew out of her normal existing ones.
  • Humble Hero: Deconstructed. Before her fall, she was known for her incredbly humble character, but that's because her parents indoctrinated her to always be selfless out of fear of her becoming evil if she let her talents and reputation go to her head. This in part made her a Living Legend, but also so deeply repressed that she became increasingly frustrated with her life, and made her vulnerable to people looking to exploit her generosity for selfish ends. She later snaps after a mortal Tauren Giant city-state gave her a very poor offering in return for her patronage, and the rampage that followed turned the lands she ruled over into smoking, desolate ruins.
  • I Am a Humanitarian: She devoured countless beings to sate her hunger and lust, starting with her own pantheon and worshippers.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness: Deconstructed. She was only able to become a benevolent, virtuous, and loving Queen because she was indoctrinated by her parents to repress her own desires, which led to her being exploited by everyone because she's too reluctant to express what she wants in favor of being selfless. Despite being advised by the Amaredae and a disguised Joyous Freedom to stop repressing herself, she ignored them, leading to disastrous consequences when she eventually snaps from her exploitation and goes on an epic rampage that twists her into a demonic goddess with a bottomless love-hunger. She is naturally devastated by what she became, but thanks to the Amaredae, Joyous Freedom, and Amareros himself, she comes to accept her parents were wrong and there's nothing wrong with indulging in one's desires. This later fueled her relationship with Blue Suede Heartstrings, as she understands his troubles with ultimately failing to live up to the virtues he was taught to uphold by her family and being taken for granted by everyone.
  • Liquid Assets: Post-transformation, as a goddess of Beauty, she gained the power to "steal" the beauty of others for herself.
  • Living Legend: Before her fall and transformation, she was an extremely beloved goddess and Queen known inside and outside the Tauren Peninsula for her great beauty, charisma, and leadership, uplifting the lands she ruled over into a golden age. Sadly, not only did her status cause her people and pantheon to exploit her out of complacency, but other Tauren Giant Pantheons started envying her for her successes. Then she fell into infamy when she snapped and went on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge that left several Giant realms and pantheons (including her own) nonexistent.
  • Love Goddess: Like her fellow Amaredae, she's a goddess of Love and thus has her domain's standard powers like empathy, seeing and manipulating bonds, and manifesting Love energy in ways like barriers, beams and constructs. She used to embody Courtly Love, inspiring/encouraging love in a tamer fashion while tempering unbridled passion and lust. Presently, she embodies Manic Love, inspiring the same passionate, lustful emotions she once guarded against, while possessing unique abilities like love-draining, inflicting jealously and obsession, and empowering herself based on how much people love her. She can also cast various blessings or curses based on this.
  • Love Hungry: Having denied her desires for so long and being taken for granted by her pantheon and worshippers, after becoming utterly consumed by her hunger and lust she nows want nothing more than the love of all those who receive her love in return, to the point of devouring everyone and everything which fell under her influence and domination to sate her lust and feed on their love forever.
  • Magic Hair: Prior to her transformation, she had a mane and tail made of golden-orange Love energy that showed somewhat clear images of courtly, chaste love and beauty, and of benevolent divine and mortal sovereigns bringing prosperity and happiness. Afterward, her mane and tail showed more carnal images of love and lust, with creatures from all walks of life fornicating with each other, while both mortal and divine sovereigns indulged in their deepest desires.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Hungering Love", due to her infamous love-hunger she developed that drove her to devour entire realms, kingdoms, and pantheons in her desire to satiate herself.
  • Master of Illusion: As a goddess of Beauty, she can cast powerful illusions.
  • Meaningful Name: Her name is a mix of Peína (Hunger) and Agápi (Love) with tweaking. This ties in with her characterisation as a Love Hungry Giganticorn goddess with a literally all-Consuming Passion.
  • More than Mind Control: Her sincerely affable character as well as her overwhelming passionate presence caused not inconsiderable number of beings who fell under her influence and domination to develop unbridled love and lust for her despite her indulgent debauchery and ravenous gluttony.
  • Monstrous Cannibalism: In her original rampage she devoured her entire pantheon as well as all her worshippers and the lands they lived in, and to this day she still feasts upon her own kinds as well as everyone else who could satiate her endless appetite for love.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: She was devastated to find that, in addition to utterly destroying the lands she ruled over and devouring her own subjects (and pantheon), she also transformed into a demonic Giganticorn goddess with a bottomless love-hunger. She proceeds to break down, tearfully apologizing to her birth parents for letting her own desires corrupt her into (in her eyes) a horrible monster in one moment of weakness. While she later recovers from it, she still has lingering guilt over it due to her childhood indoctrination.
Queen Peínagápia: (sobbing) M-Mother, Father, I'm sorry...! I... I tried to be good...!
  • My Greatest Failure: She never really got over how one moment of weakness on her part led to her transforming her into a Love Hungry, demonic goddess just because she felt angry over being exploited by her own people, to the point of seeing herself as little better than unrepentantly evil Fallen deities like Morning Star. She also initially tried becoming The Atoner by treating her Destroyer Deity duties as penance for her supposed "crimes". While she does accept her long-repressed desires and gain the domain of Indulgence, the guilt regarding her Roaring Rampage of Revenge never really went away. Thankfully, she is receiving both therapy and support for this.
  • Mythical Motifs: Dragons, for her. Post-transformation, she became a demonic goddess with Draconic traits like horns, a scaled underbelly, slitted eyes, and Draconic wings growing out of her normal ones. As Dragons are infamous for their greed, cruelty, and domineering behavior, this is rather fitting for a goddess who went from practicing extreme self-repression of her own desires to indulging in them to hedonistic degrees.
  • Necessarily Evil: She goes around corrupting entire civilizations until they became bastions of passionate, hedonistic debauchery, but as a divine punisher, she does it to test both mortal Giant and 'Tiny' civilizations to see if they would resist her overwhelming presence. She only cuts loose when encountering unrepentantly wicked and/or corrupt ones.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Deconstructed. While she was famed for her generosity, beauty, and love during her time as Queen, the peace and prosperity she brought the lands under her rule caused everyone — including her own pantheon — to become complacent until they essentially started treating her like a servant, knowing that she won't ask for much in return out of selflessness. This All Take and No Give relationship — combined with having to adhere to her parents' Black-and-White Morality on things — gradually frustrated and angered her until finally, she snapped when the citizens of a Tauren Giant city-state gave her a very piss-poor offering in return for her patronage. As this occurred just when she entered a period of reproductive heat, the ungrateful citizens quickly found themselves violated and devoured by their now angry and aroused patron goddess who demanded more gifts, love, and adoration from them...
  • Oppose What You Suffered: Due to her past experiences of being exploited for her love and generosity, she is genuinely enraged by those who exploit others, or otherwise take them for granted. She also hates those who teach puristic versions of love, beauty, and desire, as her life was ultimately ruined by her birth parents' indoctrination on what they deemed to be "good" and "bad". And like all benevolent/pragmatic Amaredae, she despises those who demean, abuse, or see love as a "weakness" to be removed.
  • Our Giants Are Different: She's a Giant-Alicorn goddess, also known as a Giganticorn. Giganticorns are to Equine Giantkind what their normal-sized counterparts, the Alicorns, are to Equinekind, and thus has the combined magics of all Equine Giant tribes like Alicorns do for all Pony tribes.
  • Our Gods Are Different: She's a Giganticorn, an Equine Giant version of an Alicorn who represents their mortal kind the same way an Alicorn represnts mortal Ponykind, and thus has the combined powers of all Equine Giant tribes. She's also an "Ascendant" deity, the rarest of the three main types of deities in the Codexverse, and an example of one who underwent an epiphany that changed their fundamental natures into something that's different from what they previously were.
  • Parental Incest:
    • During her Roaring Rampage of Revenge, she devoured and ravished even her own parents. It's a fate well-deserved, since as the ones who raised her on puristic lessons of love, beauty, and goodness, they're directly responsible for all the suffering she went through up to that point.
    • Following her transformation and psychological recovery, she became unafraid of sleeping with her own children, the Peínagápiadae, as she had accepted all her desires — including her darkest ones.
  • Personality Powers: Pre-transformation, she embodied the courtly, chaste aspects of Love and Beauty, as well as benevolent aspects of Power and Sovereignty, which fit her character as a virtuous and loving Queen. Post-transformation, however, she came to embody the unfettered aspects of her aforementioned domains, showing how "good" concepts like Love, Beauty, Power, and Sovereignty can be corrupted and used to promote hedonistic depravity. She also gains the domain of Indulgence, which represents her newfound acceptance and understanding of her own desires, as well as how indulgence can be taken too far (or too little).
  • Psychic Teleportation: As a goddess of Sovereignty, she has teleportation abilities that work when she's within her designated territories.
  • Rage Breaking Point: After becoming increasingly frustrated with being exploited for her generosity, with everyone either ignoring her problems or refusing to help her, she later snaps when, after entering a period of reproductive heat, she is offered a very meager reward for her patronage by a Tauren Giant city-state whose citizens made the mistake of assuming she would be fine with what they gave her. Instead, she fell upon them in a mix of rage and arousal, forcing the citizens to give her more of their love that she felt she deserved, before doing the same to her own pantheon and the rest of the lands she ruled over.
Queen Peínagápia: We thank you, our devoted subjects, for this... this offering of love...
Queen Peínagápia's worshipers: All praises to her loving majesty!
Queen Peínagápia: But it's... not enough...
    Queen Peínagápia's worshipers: W-what?
Queen Peínagápia: It's not enough... I need more! (screaming) I NEED MORE-!!!
  • Really Gets Around: After embracing her hungry passion she now indulges in her passionate love and debauched lust upon countless lands and beings, while taking countless mortals or divines as lovers and partners.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: Post-transformation, her formerly light magenta fur became maroon red with black gradients. This symbolizes her coming to embody the darker sides of her domains like Beauty, Love, and Sovereignty, as well as the consequences of indulging them to unfettered extremes. She's also a depraved, ravenous goddess who's constantly love-hungry, preying on civilizations and even entire pantheons in her quest for love and adoration, and gorging herself upon her targets after corrupting them. However, as she follows "Constructive Evil", she generally saves her worst impulses and behaviors for the unrepentantly wicked and/or corrupt.
  • Red Is Violent: After transforming into a demonic Giganticorn goddess, she gains a maroon red pelt with black gradients.
  • Repression Never Ends Well: Because her birth parents indoctrinated her since fillyhood to follow purisitic versions of love, beauty, and desire, she constantly denied her own desires in order to rule as a "proper" Queen, which led to both her pantheon and mortal subjects to exploit her with the knowledge that she won't ask for much in return. This created a Vicious Cycle that came to its head when a Tauren Giant city-state gave her a poor offering as thanks for her patronage while she was in a period of reproductive heat, causing her to snap and rampage throughout the lands to satiate her long-repressed desires. When she finally snapped out of it, she discovers what she did and finds she transformed into a demonic Giganticorn goddess with a bottomless love-hunger, filling her with guilt and self-loathing. She eventually comes out of it thanks to the Amaredae and a disguised Joyous Freedom, and embraces her repressed desires, but because of her indoctrination, she still suffers from lingering trauma over having supposedly failed her birth parents' high standards — even if the deities who took her in don't blame her for what happened.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Deconstructed. After snapping from being given a very poor offering by a Tauren Giant city-state in return for her patronage (which was worsened by how she was in heat at the time), she proceeded to devour and ravish the citizens for their love. Then she did the same to everyone else in her realms who exploited her generosity, including her own pantheon, until the entire area was reduced to smoking, desolate ruins. Because she denied her own passions and desires for so long, her rampage was the moment that marked her transformation into an eldritch, Draconic Giganticorn goddess with a bottomless love-hunger. Once she snapped out of it and realized what she did, she broke down in tears over (in her mind) having failed to live up to her parents' high standards of goodness.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: After carving a path of destruction and carnage across the Tauren Giant Peninsula, she was eventually deveated by benevolent Giant and 'Tiny' deities and mortals, and sealed away within her own crown. However, to the fear and anger of many, she was freed in the Fourth Age by her mortal agents and several members of the Peínagápiadae, her own children.
  • Seers: As a goddess of Sovereignty, she has clairvoyant abilities that work when she's within her designated territories.
  • Self-Fulfilling Prophecy: The entire reason why she became a beloved Queen is because she was indoctrinated by her parents to always be selfless and good to the point of self-repression. This ends up backfiring in the worst ways possible, as her increasing frustration over being exploited and living up to her parents' expectations caused her to go on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge of such epic proportions that she transformed into an eldritch goddess with a bottomless love-hunger. It also gave her a huge amount of self-loathing when she realizes this, though Amareros or his children never blamed for what happened, as the fault really came from her parents for treating her the way she did.
  • Sex for Solace: She slept with Queen Ekhidna at one point, both to comfort the latter over her beloved husband, King Typhoan, being sealed away and to ease her fellow Queen's loneliness. However, it didn't work, as Ekhidna missed her husband that much.
  • Sex Is Evil, and I Am Horny: Deconstructed. To transform her into The High Queen they believed she should be, her birth parents taught her to repress all "sinful" desires, including her lust. During her reign, while she had multitudes of children, they were all sired through her husband prior to her Face–Heel Turn. While well-meaning, her birth parents' oppressively restrictive teachings on virtue and goodness ultimately did more harm than good when she eventually cracked from the stress of trying to live up to their puristic standards, corrupting herself in the process; one of her first victims was her own husband. Thanks to the Amaredae and a disguised Joyous Freedom, she accepts her repressed desires, gaining the domain of Indulgence related to her new understanding. She now tests both Giants and "Tinies" on behalf of the Grand Primevals to see if they would either give in to their inner desires or not.
  • A Shared Suffering: A huge reason why she got along so well with Blue Suede Heartstrings stems from how similar they are — including how they both failed to fulfill the high standards of virtues ad goodness they were taught by their own parents to uphold, with devastating consequences.
  • Soiled City on a Hill: The Tauren Giant lands she and her pantheon formerly watched over were reduced to smoking, desolated ruins after she rampaged through them, devouring and ravishing everyone who lived there. While she felt guilty for it, the Amaredae, Joyous Freedom, and the Grand Primevals saw the rampage as well-deserved Laser-Guided Karma because of how the Giants grew so complacent that they essentially treated her like a slave.
  • Super-Empowering: All of her domains revolve around some kind of empowerment, whether through love, beauty, or being a good ruler. Even her domain of Indulgence allows her to bless her allies based on how much they indulged in their own desires. Even after her Face–Heel Turn, she still retains the ability to do this, referring to how the concepts she embodies can be used for good and evil.
  • Taking Advantage of Generosity: A huge reason why she eventually turned on her former pantheon and mortal worshipers is because they constantly took her for granted, essentially treating her like a slave who would always give them her love freely without asking for much in return. When she snapped, one of the first people she devoured and ravished was her own husband, and went on from there.
  • Telepathy: As a goddess of Sovereignty, she has telepathic abilities that work when she's within her designated territories. And as a goddess of Indulgence, she has telepathic abilities that she uses to sense and encourage people's inner desires.
  • Top God: A former "King of the Gods" example. She used to be the Queen of a Tauren Giant Pantheon that watched over a part of the Tauren Peninsula, and her rule brought about a golden age for her mortal subjects. After years of being taken for granted by everyone and trying to live up to her birth parents' high standards of goodness and moral purity, she eventually snaps, leading to a rampage where she devoured and violated even her own pantheon to get the love they had continuously denied her. Once she recovered, she became a "God of Gods" example, as she is both the mother and founding matriarch of the Peínagápiadae.
  • Tragic Villain: While she is presently an evil goddess who embodies the darker aspects of Love and Beauty (among other things) and corrupts people into giving her endless love, she really did have a rough life prior to it. She was once an extremely beautiful, generous, and kind Queen who loved and tended to her subjects, allowing the lands she ruled over to prosper. However, everyone — including her own pantheon — became complacent to the point where they treated her like a servant, and the only reason why she was such a good Queen is because her birth parents indoctrinated her to repress all her "sinful" desires in order to remain "good" by their standards. While her eventual Rage Breaking Point and Roaring Rampage of Revenge are horrifying, they're also treated as the logical conclusion of what happens when a selfless person like her had to endure Ages worth of emotional and psychological abuse. Even the likes of the Amaredae acknowledged this and felt sorry for how she was treated.
  • Vicious Cycle: She used to be part of one prior to her Face–Heel Turn and transformation. Because she was indoctrinated by her birth parents to be an extremely virtuous, good, and selfless Queen to her subjects, all she could think of is doing just that. Her efforts led to her pantheon and mortal worshipers becoming complacent, and they started giving her little reward for her hard work, knowing they can get away with it due to her generous nature. Deep down, she becomes increasingly discontent over her mistreatment, yet she couldn't do anything about it because to her, her subjects came first. Despite the Amaredae and a disgused Joyous Freedom's attempts to help her, she ignored them partially out of self-denial, and partially because her birth parents' lessons were deeply ingrained into her. Predictably, she eventually reaches her Rage Breaking Point when a Tauren Giant city-state chose to give her a meager reward for her divine patronage... while she was in reproductive heat. What happened next was a Roaring Rampage of Revenge so epic that by the time she realized what she had done, her repressed desires turned her into a demonic-looking Alicorn, causing her to break down in tears.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: As a goddess of Beauty, she has shapeshifting abilities. Pre-transformation, she used them to empower and make people more "beautiful" by bringing out their best qualities. Post-transformation, however, she used them selfishly by inspiring lust and driving people to hedonism.
  • Where I Was Born and Razed: Used to be the queen of a Giant pantheon watching over Giant and Tiny worshippers in their lands, but she devoured them all in her initial rampage/orgy/feast.

Peínagápiadae

    General
  • Affably Evil: Despite being the children and/or descendants of a debauched, depraved Love Goddess, they're often noted to be genuinely pleasant people. However, their affableness is twisted by their bottomless love-hunger, which can make them even more terrifying in some respects as they can easily sway people to accepting their inevitable fates without question.
  • Big Eater: Being (mostly) Giganticorn deities, huge appetites are standard among them as it is a racial trait. But what makes them unique is that their natural appetites are enhanced by their bottomless love-hunger, making them capable of devouring entire lands and nations in order to sustain themselves on their victims' love.
  • The Clan: The Peínagápiadae consists of all the children, grandchildren, and descendants both Queen Peínagápia and her family had sired, whether through the many lovers they acquired or through each other. Naturally, Peínagápia is the matriarch.
  • Equivalent Exchange: This is how they view and justify their interactions with others. In return for giving people what they want, the Peínagápiadae expect to be repaid with the same love, gratitude, and devotion. Unfortunately, due to the Peínagápiadae's collective love-hunger, repaying them with love means letting the gods indulge in their ravenous lust, devouring and ravishing those who fell under their divine influence.
  • The Hedonist: Indulges in endless debaucheries with each other and upon entire lands and beings which fall under their influence in their lust and hunger for love, showing no preference in species, genders or even relations.
  • Horror Hunger: Being literally Love Hungry, they are consumed with a ravenous hunger for other beings capable of love, consuming and imprisoning them all inside their body so they can feed upon their love and satiate their lust upon them for all eternity.
  • Lust: Because of their hunger for love, Queen Peínagápia and her entire family are utterly consumed by lust, indulging in endless debaucheries among themselves and everyone and everything which falls under their influence when not (and before) devouring them.
  • Our Giants Are Bigger: All Giant deities, many of them Giganticorns, and thus are big as mountains by default.
  • Really Gets Around: Both Peínagápia and her children are infamous for this. When they aren't promoting love wherever they went, they participate in debauched orgies with mortals, deities, and even other.
  • Villainous Incest: Like many lustful beings, the clan have little issues sleeping with each other in their endless debauchery.

Prince Gispatéras, the Sirer of Realms

Classification: Ethereal/Ascendant, Devourer, Dark/Evil

Portfolio: Charisma, Leadership, Attraction, Virility

Rank: Divine (Tier III/Intermediate; resembles a "Greater" deity)

Affiliation: Peínagápiadae (main), Amaredae

"A king and father who gives his love to his subjects and children deserves as much in return."

Prince Gispatéras (his entry here) is the Giganticorn god of Charisma, Leadership, Attraction, and Virility, and is one of Prince Behemoth Equestria's greatest foes and paramours.
  • Abdicate the Throne: After learning his mother was really the same "Hungering Love" his father taught him to hate, he decided to abdicate his throne by running away and becoming a hermit, With help from her fellow Amaredae, Peínagápia tracked her son down, told him the truth of why she became the dreaded "Hungering Love", and persuaded him not to reject his heritage based on his father's flawed, hypocritical teachings. He eventually accepts his heritage, and returns to assume the mantle as King once again just as his kingdom was going to be invaded and razed by jealous neighbors who envied its success.
  • Affably Evil: Implied to take after his mother in being rather affable despite being utterly debauched. His rival/adversarial status with Prince Behemoth Equestria is surprisingly cordial and civil (to the point it's implied they bedded each other).
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: He is a Giganticorn god who embodies Charisma, Leadership, Attraction, and Virility.
  • Arch-Enemy: Considered to be one for Prince Behemoth Equestria, having encountered and fought with him multiple times in the past.
  • Big Eater: Like other Giants, Giant deities and Giganticorns he has this by default, even more so thanks to his nature and his mother, capable of devouring whole realms and kingdoms starting with his own homeland.
  • Blood Knight: As a divine warrior who was raised in the martial cultures of the Tauren Peninsula's Giant lands, he relishes a good fight or challenge. This feeds into his divine nature as the Anthropomorphic Personification of the toxic aspects of Giant masculinity — he is a prideful glory-seeker to the point where his ego pushes him to perform great feats in battle, and he is passionate to the point of hedonism, as the thrill of fighting a Worthy Opponent is just as enjoyable as bedding those he charmed with his wiles. However, it's also one of his flaws, as his competitiveness and lust for battle can distract him and prone to picking fights with other males from even his own race.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: Implied. It's mentioned that he took family members as lovers, meaning besides his mother and his own scions he probably slept with many of his brothers and sisters.
  • Caged Inside a Monster: The fate of all the lands, realms and nations he corrupted and sired, devoured by him and his scions and imprisoned inside his innards, where he would feed upon their love and satiate his lust upon them for all eternity.
  • Cheerful Child: In his infancy, he was an adorable, cheerful baby who loved playing with his toys.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Similarly to what happened between his mother and her parents in her youth, he was groomed to be a "proper" stallion and ruler by his birth father, who indoctrinated him to follow toxic standards of masculinity like repressing his own desires and not letting himself be distracted by the wiles of even "lesser" Giant stallions. While he became The Good King, his father's teachings left him psychologically messed up, pushing him into a deepening pit of shame and self-hatred as he constantly cheated on his wife and Queen-consort to act on his repressed desires. Then he learned the true identity of his mother, Queen Peínagápia, which caused him to run away to avoid becoming like her, only to learn why she became the "Hungering Love" his father taught him to fear — revealing that his father was nothing but a Hypocrite and a liar. While he does accept his heritage, his father's emotional/psychological abuse left him with a poor self-image that he struggles with to this day.
  • Deity of Human Origin: Sort of; he was a Giganticorn demigod disguised as a mortal — apparently put in place by his mother to protect him from his oppressive, strict, and emotionally abusive father. When he accepted his heritage as a biological son of the "Hungering Love" and saved his kingdom from invasion by jealous neighbors, he unveiled his true demi-divine identity in the process. He proceeded to develop his current divine portfolio via encouraging hedonism in his subjects, and would Ascend to true godhood later on.
  • Foil: For Prince Behemoth Equestria, being less retraint in his virility where Behemoth exercise greater control, being more affable and adored where Behemoth is more respected and feared, being more sociable where Prince Behemoth is more militaristic.
  • Founder of the Kingdom: Has the title 'Sirer of Realms', as on top of corrupting lands of Giants and Tinies into debauchery and devotion to him and his family, he also literally and metaphorically sired whole nations into existence with his virility, charisma and leadership to rule over as his subjects and worshippers, bringing them to such golden ages of populous prosperity that more often then not they don't object to being fed to his and his scions insatiable hunger and unquenchable lust.
  • Generation Xerox: Much like his mother when she was younger, he was indoctrinated by a parent (though in his case, it's his birth father) to follow toxic, bigoted, and puristic standards of goodness and virtue that essentially forced him to suppress his "bad" emotions and desires to be a "proper" ruler. And while he was able to usher his first kingdom into a golden age, his people became corrupt to the point of taking advantage of him, furthering his downward spiral into shame and self-loathing over his supposed "failure" to be The Good King everyone wanted. This is further emphasized by his mother's true identity as the dreaded "Hungering Love" everyone feared and hated; while he initially abandoned his throne upon learning of it to prevent history from repeating, learning the true factors behind his mother's corruption sent him into a Heroic BSoD as he realized his father was a hypocrite and a liar.
  • Handsome Lech: He's noted to be handsome, and is extremely debauched and lustful like his mother and siblings within the Peínagápiae.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: Inverted; he is a God of Evil who represents the toxic aspects of Giant masculinity and sexuality, and he excels with bladed weapons. However, he is also skilled in archery like his fellow Peínagápiadae and Amaredae, having been previously a hunter and adventurer as a "mortal".
  • Holy Halo: Inverted; he has a halo made of Attraction energy, and he is a God of Evil who represents the unfettered, toxic aspects of masculinity and romantic/sexual attraction.
  • In the Blood: He descended into debauchery partly due to his heritage, sharing his mother's overwhelmingly lustful and hungering nature.
  • Magic Hair: Post-Ascension, his mane and tail became composed of midnight-blue Charisma energy.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Sirer of Realms" for literally siring whole realms and kingdoms by sleeping with the locals.
  • Meaningful Name: His name means "land father" in Greek, which refers to how he sired whole nations as part of his bottomless love-hunger.
  • More than Mind Control: Like his mother, his Affably Evil character and prosperous reigns bred such genuine devotion upon his subjects in all the realms he founded or corrupted, that together with his overwhelming power and presence many realms and their people willingly consented to eventually being fed to his and his family's hunger and lust.
  • Our Giants Are Bigger: Being a Giganticorn deity, he is likely the size of a mountain by default.
  • Parental Incest: Like the rest of his family, in addition to sleeping with his mother he also take many of his own scions as lovers.
  • Really Gets Around: To the point that he has sired entire nations single-hoofed, and mated with them.
  • The Rival: To Prince Behemoth Equestria, on account of comparisons/contrasts between them and multiple past conflicts.
  • Sex Is Evil, and I Am Horny: In trying to mold him into the "ideal" Giant stallion, his father taught him to practice matrimonial fidelity, and to not let himself be distracted by the wiles of more promiscuous females and "lesser" stallions. This gets deconstructed as his father's teachings left him deeply sexually frustrated; when he married his wife, Queen [REDACTED], his desire to live up to his father's high moral standards created a self-destructive cycle where he ignored his wife in favor of attending parties and having countless affairs. Once he learns the truth of everything from his mother, he is overcome with regret and accepts his heritage. While it did cause him to slide further into egotism and debauchery, he became emotionally healthy as a trade-off, and he apologized to his wife for how he treated her. Presently, he takes after his mother, ravishing his partners and foes alike while siring entire realms without abandon, having come to realize Repression Never Ends Well.
  • Slowly Slipping Into Evil: It's stated that while starting out as just a handsome, charismatic, proud and virile crown-prince, he would become increasingly debauched as his mother's influence and his own desirious and ravenous nature began to take hold, dragging his own kingdom into corruption after taking the throne. By the time he ascended into full godhood he became a Peínagápiae mind, body and soul who would devour his entire homeland with his children, siblings and mother to sate his insatiable hunger and unquenchable lust.
  • Where I Was Born and Razed: He devoured his own birth Giant kingdom with his family upon ascending to full godhood, swallowing all his subjects to feed upon their love and satiate his lust upon them for eternity as his mother does with many other beings.
  • Villain Respect: Despite clashing multiple times with his Equestrian counterpart, Prince Behemoth Equestria, he genuinely admired how the latter uplifted the Giant kingdoms/realms of Reusmaat from its previous sorry state and ushered in an era of prosperity under divine (and demi-divine) rule within the area.
Prince Gispatéras: Reusmaat? Oh, a very fine realm, from what I heard. Strong but also full of love - Prince Behemoth Equestria had really outdone himself. Had he embraced his desires a little more like I do, he would many more realms like Reusmaat to love, and enjoy. As it stand, I would be more than happy to visit the kingdoms and his own homeland in person one day, just as I am more than happy to have him as an opponent... and the occasional paramour.
