The characters of Chasseur Judge, a dark adventure full of monsters, people, and other things.
For clarity and credentials sake, characters made by anyone aside from the author will be labeled and linked to their own page.
Hi-hi
Monster: ??? - Class: A
The head of one of the factions of Hunting Judges (Hi-hi's Hunting Judges), Hi-hi has been fighting monster for a while now, but no one really knows that much about his past. He takes his job very seriously, making him a tad stern and/or awkward at times, but his heart is in the right place.
- Berserk Button: when he thinks that a child is in danger from someone, it REALLY pisses him off.
- Crush Blush: with Somnium
- Gonk: a lighter variation though.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Acts callous and snarky at times, but he's quick in acting on emotion.
- Mr. Exposition: To newer recruits, he even has Nerd Glasses and a graduate hat.
- Our Monsters Are Different: He's a sort of humanoid with a long neck, bucktooth fangs, and claws who can stretch his arms (and presumably other parts) to attack.

Eiro
Monster: Squarehead - Class: C
A squarehead monster from a foreign country who has trouble talking and seems to like stupid-looking shirts with flowers on them. he hopes to become a Hunting Judge, having been a fan of them for a while. He arrives earlier then the other rookies, and agrees to do some on-the-job training with Somnium.

- The Stoner: But not in a smoking sense. upon learning that Ultima's ashes can cause hallucinations and getting some for Mors' knife, Eiro holds some in his hands to trip out on purpose.
- Too Dumb to Live: Ate a poisonous Big Sleepweed while Hi-hi was showing the others that they could eat flowers found in Halloween Night. Said Big Sleepweed is a thorny plant with a skull-shaped bulb.
- Later he trips out on purpose and falls into The Heavenly Choir's realm-world.
Mors
famous reaper
A reaper famous for fighting Mad Deloriz Docter, the current ultimate multiverse villain, and stopping his plan to use dreams. A worrywart and slight pessimist, he has a dramatic flair about himself, which comes out occasionally. Is an item with Ultima, and Somnium is either his sister or close friend. Almost always butts heads with Hi-hi.

- The Blacksmith: Is able to create a bond-cutting blade using a Killer Rabbit tooth, Somnium's bandage and feather, and some of Ultima's ashes.
- Deadpan Snarker: loves to mispronounce Hi-his name a lot, "HI" "Hello" and "Hola-Hola" for example
- Battle Couple: with Ultima, but has yet to be shown.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Is always the first to get impatient and judge people.
- Large Ham: when talking about how a tooth makes a sword that can cut bonds for example.
- Official Couple: With Ultima
- Red Oni, Blue Oni : downplayed, he's still reasonably nice and calm, its just that he has emotions, while Ultima seemingly has none, making him the Red Oni by default.
- Shapeshifter Weapon: his staff can shape-shift into any tool he may require, such as a hammer for smithing
Ultima
famous reaper
Mors' significant other, an emotionless figure in a black cloak wearing a porcelain mask. She joins Hi-hi on his on-the-job training to confront the Reapsow Reaver monster that terrorizes Halloween Night. Stoic, she is an able negotiator, and has a kind of all-knowing charm.

- Cool Mask: a porcelain Mardi Gras mask which is also her face.
- Crippling Overspecialization : her main attack is to create proxies out of her ash, and sing a song of death, while usually a One-Hit Kill, monsters are able to No-Sell and/or interrupt it. A large portion of what make this attack effective is the fear it generates, since Monsters are sometimes mindless animals, that contributing factor is also gone.
- Deadpan Snarker: A master of this, which is played up by her emotionlessness.
- Dark and Troubled Past

- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: responsible to Somnium's foolish.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: being without emotions, she is this by default
- Red Shirt Army: Her proxies are easy to destroy, and just as easy to replace.
- The Stoic: She never openly displays emotion, leading to lots of Visible Silence
- Not So Stoic: having a hallucination of the Reapsow Reaver causes something in her to stir, which she tells Mors; and maybe being surprised at when she assumes Hi-hi would kill a child.
- Team Mom: she's always up to reason with people if they get their facts wrong, but is never an Insufferable Genius about it.
Somnium
Monster: assumed to be a harpy - Class: C
A loony feathered character covered in bandages and wearing a purple dress, She is Ultimas older sister (though she doesn't act the part). she is almost always doing something, which can sometimes lead to trouble. She is extremely interested in becoming a Hunting Judge, an is ecstatic over being able to explore and meet new people.

- Bandage Mummy: aside from her wings, she's entirely bandaged up for some reason.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass
- The Faceless: Makes a concentrated effort to keep her bandages on across her face.
- Flight
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Foolish to Ultima's responsible.
- Genki Girl: hugs almost everyone she sees, squeal with glee at the thought of adventure, and generally is a ball of energy.
- I Am Not Weasel: Sometimes referred to as a Harpy, and though its likely she's something completely different - she hasn't really told anyone not to call her that.
- Let's Get Dangerous!: gets surprisingly serious when she wants to be.
Grimnir

A Reaper who takes in monster souls at Hi-hi's HQ. an ever smiling oddball with a few thousand quirks.
- Almighty Janitor: What can be assumed of a reaper who works a relatively mundane desk job.
- Big Fun: Almost spherical, and fully likeable.
- Perpetual Smiler: To the point where its both unsettling and charming.
- Punny Name: Grimnir = Grinner + Grim
- Wacky Sound Effect: squeaks like a toy when Somnium hugs him.
Rubi Reddish

A female raccoon who seems to work for Hi-hi.

Jennifer
Monster: Rubberlite - Class: D
A strange creature who acts as a secretary/receptionist to Hi-hi. Tends to sit around reading her latest novels at her desk.
- Office Lady: Unlike some variations of secretaries in media, Jennifer doesn't seem that grumpy or overly hyper. She just seems to be a friendly bookworm.
Frivio and Zevio
Stick-figure businessmen
A pair of Stick figures who reward hunters for bringing them trophies of their fights, like horns, weapons, etc. Frivio is a more lizard-like stickman with a goofy smile, Zevio is the stickman with what looks like a mustache/mouth.
- Honest John's Dealership: They seem to offer less cash than what the actual values of trophies are. Noticably Frivio is flustered when Rubi calls the policy out, and Zevio has to silently reaffirm it.
- The Nicknamer: Frivio calls Rubi Redfish "Raccoony."
- Those Two Guys
Transport Heads
a mode of transport - Class: D
Heads that poke up out of certain buildings or spots for Hunting Judges to use. they spit their passengers to spots all across the world as a fast travel system, with accompanying hands to catch them as they land.
- Bizarre Alien Biology: Ultima Notes that they have no digestive tract, and one does have to wonder how giant heads and hands grow out of buildings in the first place.
- Boring, but Practical: not exactly high-class comfort, but they are spot-on accurate and a fast way to travel. Reapers in particular get the added bonus of not drawing attention to themselves through teleporting (which alerts power-sensitive monsters).

Squick: climbing into its mouth, being covered in cushioning saliva, and spat out as a transport system doesn't sound pleasant.
Hannibal
Cruel type - Class: B
A vile monster that Hi-hi fights at the beginning of the series. It is a knife - wielding killer that can learn people's desires through an extra set of eyes that poke out of two holes in his hat.
- Body Horror: His back is opened up exposing the back of his ribs, with two skin flaps hanging off. His extra set of eyes apparently come out of this opening too.
- Dark and Troubled Past: His parents did some absolutely horrible things to him and someone else, presumably his sister, which culminated with something being done with a fridge. All of this led to him becoming a monster.
- Pocket Dimension: Can open a door to a room-like realm-world where giant knives are driven into a wood floor, bodies in bags hang from the ceiling, and poorly sewn gashes line the walls.
- Shout-Out: His name, abilities and Manipulative Bastard attempts are clear ones to The Silence of the Lambs.
- Villainous Breakdown: Has an episode from his past after his weak-spots are destroyed.
- Was Once a Man: Though, it is not clear as to whether he grew up first, or was transformed into a monster when he was a kid.
The Heavenly Choir
Light / Sound type - Class: B
The first monster that Mors, Ultima, Somnium, and Eiro encounter with Hi-hi in Halloween Night, guarding the town for the Reapsow Reaver. A Class-B creature, it really gives them a tough time.
- And I Must Scream: Her former choir buddies are forced to become ghostly heads that sing with her for her attacks, and Tail also states that she is suffering as well.
- Body Horror: The heads on her back are flattened and bubble up when she prepares to fight, in addition she has an organ that looks like her human form in her throat.
- Combat Pragmatist: A vicious attacker that doesn't hesitate. she also blasts Somnium as she was trying to save an unconscious Eiro.
- Dark and Troubled Past: She was once part of a churches' choir until a rumor about her being a witch led the choir group to go on a full-on hunt. They forced her into drowning herself and her child, which led to her becoming a monster to save herself and her kid.
- Light 'em Up: Fires lasers, and can charge them for more devastating variations.
- Musical Assassin / Brown Note: Has access to one of these as an attack, its not exactly made clear which it prefers to use.
- Outside-Context Problem: The first monster that reapers (who've never fought these monsters) and two rookies encounter is a somewhat higher class. It manages to REALLY catch them off guard.
- Was Once a Man: A choir woman in this case.
Tail Creature / Tail
Living appendage - Class: D
A small creature that acts as the Heavenly Choir's tail. After being stuck to his host (which in his past life was his mother) he wants to end both of their lives for her sake.
- And I Must Scream: While he wants his mothers suffering to end, he is ultimately dragged against his will by someone who is no longer really there anymore, without any appendages to use to protest against it.
- Death Seeker: Seeing as how The Heavenly Choir is the main body while he's the tail, he wants -
- Self-Made Orphan: His goal, though his reasons for it are benevolent.
- Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: someone as young as he seemingly is isn't usually expected to talk about death and having a fixation on having themselves and their mother killed.
The Unicorn
Beast Type - Class: C
A huge, insane looking, horse -like monster who the group is looking for due to reports of it trampling people. After being sidetracked by The Heavenly Choir, it charges out of the forest and attacks them, raving about being hungry.
- Axe-Crazy: though, it appears to be because it's being driven insane by its hunger.
- Meat-O-Vision: specifically sees Somnium as a pair of chicken wings tied with a bow, Eiro as a pizza slice, Ultima as a lollipop, and Mors as a ham.
- Unicorn: Albit a twisted looking one.
