The forum's resident (retired) Cerberus officer.

• Collector of the Strange: Claims to have a collection of batarian eyeballs.
• Cryptic Conversation: Second only to Kittens.
• Deadpan Snarker: In spades, with a bit of Jerkass thrown in for fun.
• Defector from Decadence: Left Cerberus and faked his death after realizing that Cerberus no longer held humanity's best interests at heart.
• Faking the Dead: His strategy for avoiding reprisal for defection. It worked for about six months.
• Fantastic Racism: RTB's feelings towards batarians are not particularly subtle.
• Kill All Batarians: He claims to desire this.
• Necessarily Evil: Understands that the actions of Cerberus are morally wrong, but believes that they are necessary.
• No Name Given: Described in the few RPs he participates in as "the commander," "the operative," or something similar. If his name is ever mentioned, it's invariably [Redacted].
• Running Gag: After a [Redacted] incident, he installed overactive censorship VIs that tend to render many of his statements unintelligible.
• Wall of Weapons: Hidden in an Aroch Ward chocolate shop.
• Well-Intentioned Extremist: He sees himself as one.

John Grey (Operative Grey)

A senior Cerberus officer.

• Expy: The Cigarette Smoking Man from The X-Files, or the Operative from Serenity
• I Did What I Had to Do: Not afraid to get his hands dirty.
• Lawful Evil: Morality is not a concern of his. The future of humanity is.
• Nothing Personal: Just doing his job.
• The Nondescript: A very forgettable man.
• The Spook: Some intelligence agencies think John Grey is a myth, or dead. They are wrong.

Pharos

A Cerberus agent currently active within the Alliance Military. Pharos is a high-percentage cyborg following the Alliance raid on Torfan. Rebuilt by Cerberus, he is a fanatically loyal and rather brutal agent. Recently defected to the Alliance.

• Anti-Hero: Type V. Pharos has done some pretty awful stuff, but all in the name of humanity
• Artificial Limbs: All four of them, plus numerous other implants following his near-death on Torfan
• Electronic Eyes: The most noticeable thing about Pharos are his gold-irised cybernetic eyes.
• Lawful Evil: Humans first, no matter the cost.
• Smoking Is Cool: And you know it
• There Are No Therapists: Subverted. Cerberus Command have realised Pharos isn't exactly stable and he's since been removed from active duty and sent for psychotherapy
• The Unfettered: Openly admits to enjoying murder and once listed his top 10 kills
• We Can Rebuild Him: Blinded and crippled by a grenade, Cerberus offered Pharos this in exchange for his services. He accepted.
• Would Hurt a Child: An alien child especially

Doctor Iain Rhys-Summers (Lagrange 4)

Lagrange is a recently-graduated Doctor of Nanotechnology who unknowingly accepted a job from Cerberus. Following an accident at a Cerberus research station he may also now be either a tool of the Reapers or, at the very least, Indoctrinated.

• Demonic Possession: One possible explanation for his shift in personality.
• Go Mad from the Revelation: The other possible explanation for his shift in personality.
• Nietzsche Wannabe: Since his brush with a station full of husks the Doctor has become one of these
• Non-Action Guy: He's completely useless in combat.
• Reluctant Mad Scientist: Lagrange is too into his work to worry about Cerberus might do with his research.
• The Professor: Of Nanotechnology!
• These Are Things Man Was Not Meant to Know: The good doctor learned a few things about husks and their origins during his research
• Voice of the Legion: Since his change the Doctor's voice is described as being... odd. All his text is now also italic.

Thomas Hunter (Operative Thanatos)

• Hated by All: Everybody hates Thanatos. He is often mocked by board members, often to hilarious extremes.
• Hero Killer: Is responsible for removing a quarter of AEGIS' membership, and managed to go to toe with Korwun Gorik, the krogan warlord who leads the mercenary band. Not without sustaining serious injuries himself in the process, however.
• White Mask of Doom: His avatar's and description often have him wearing something along these lines.
