The Beastmaster the last of his tribe the Sula.
  • Bifurcated Weapon: His staff can split into two and can dual wield the two halves or split it to carry them more compact on his back.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: Played with, at first he doesn't like swords, seeing metal weapons as things for only killing. He eventually uses the true form of his staff which is a sword that is his Ancestral Weapon.
  • Really Royalty Reveal: He is actually the prince of the fallen kingdom of Arukan who was hidden in and adopted by the Sula tribe.
  • Speaks Fluent Animal: He can telepathically communicate with animals.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: When he's not completely topless he is wearing a backpack with thin straps or a vest.

King of the Nords.
  • Guyliner: He wears kohl eyeliner in every episode he is in.
  • Light Is Not Good: Voden wears white everything, which despite tramping through forests always remain immaculate, as well as having bleached hair. He is also very pale.
  • Royally Screwed Up: Not only is he insane, his insanity actually increases in each subsequent episode. In one episode his own mother notes his madness.
