A contestant in Alien Stage who was set to duet with her close friend Mizi in Round 1. She ends up losing the first round by a mere 1 point, leading to her death and lasting trauma onto Mizi's psyche.- Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Vivinos describes her as one of the most difficult participants to get to know, because she rarely speaks to anyone that isn't Mizi.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Well even more so than every human in the series. It's implied in MIZISUA that her alien parents didn't treat her the best and as such she had difficulty opening up to anyone that wasn't Mizi.
- Flower Motifs: Her and Mizi's relationship is associated with clematises, symbolising artifice and ingenuity. Fittingly, their duet is named "My Clematis".
- Go Out with a Smile: She smiles one last time at Mizi before dying.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Maybe. In her interview with Mizi, she mentions wanting to try and tie their scores together. However, during Round 1, while singing the duet, she could be remaining silent during some parts of the song while mouthing the words allowing Mizi to win even at the cost of her own life. Though this could just how the song is played for the video. Additionally, in a comic posted by VIVINOS, Ivan admonishes Sua for planning to sacrifice herself for Mizi.
- Implied Love Interest: To Mizi, until her death.
- Never Trust a Trailer: Despite being heavily featured in the promotional material leading up to the series' release, she is the first to be killed off.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: The introverted Blue Oni to Mizi's Red Oni.
- Secretly Selfish: In a comic posted by VIVINOS, Ivan accuses Sua of this. By planning to sacrifice herself and die right in front of Mizi, she would traumatize Mizi, get to run away from the struggles of being alive as a human in a world where humans are treated as slaves and force Mizi to forever remember her. Sua is unable to give a retort.
- Sugar-and-Ice Personality: Is typically aloof, unless she's with Mizi.
- Walking Spoiler: She can't be discussed without giving away the entire premise of the series.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Round 1 gives a brief glimpse into her relationship with Mizi before killing her off at the end of the video.

A contestant in Alien Stage who was set to duet with her close friend Sua in Round 1. While Mizi wins, it costed Sua's life, which continues to haunt Mizi throughout the story.- Break the Cutie: Is seen beaming and smiling during her duet with Sua, until she falls to her knees in shock when Sua is killed when Mizi wins the round. She continues to have a Thousand-Yard Stare during Till's round and during her duet with Luka.
- Broken Bird: Is this by Round 2 due to Sua's death happening right before her eyes.
- Bespectacled Cutie: Wears glasses when not in her stage outfit.
- Forehead of Doom: Just look at that thing!
- Implied Love Interest: To Sua, until Sua's death.
- Important Haircut: During her and Hyuna's scuffle with the guards in "All-In", she loses most of her haircut, leaving her with short hair.
- Innocently Insensitive: She grew up in a relatively good environment, and is oblivious to the suffering others have gone through.
- Love at First Sight: Impiled. In Mizi Sua, she seems very interested in Sua upon seeing her for the first time and even cries when they are separated.
- Oblivious to Love: Till is deeply in love with her, but as far as the audience is shown, she doesn't seem to think about him, let alone care about him due to being caught up in her own grief over Sua's death.
- Rage Breaking Point: Snaps and beats Luka bloody when she finally has enough of his attempts to manipulate her trauma. He literally gets the last laugh, however, as he smiles as she’s taken away.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Red Oni to Sua's Blue Oni.
- Rose-Haired Sweetie: Has naturally pink hair, and is the most innocent person of the group.

Till

A contestant in Alien Stage called the "rookie" who has had his album as the fastest growing, reaching the #1 top rankings. He seems to have a crush on Mizi, seemingly only joining the competition to get her attention.- The Ace: He's described as having a slight talent in his field for the arts and "the unknown", making it so when he's immersed in something like music, he can see it more clearly than anything else.
- All Love Is Unrequited: He has a strong, one-sided affection for Mizi, who doesn't seem to think about him at all.
- Broken Bird: By Round 6, he's extremely broken by the disappearance of Mizi, who no one is sure is alive or dead, and doesn't seem to care whether or not he wins the round against Ivan. This is likely what triggers Ivan to throw the round to save him, forcing Till to win by default when his score is not only lowered by him stopping his portion of the song before the round is over, but also by pretending to choke Till to death so that the aliens would gun him down. Even then, Till seemed prepared to die by Ivan's hand while he choked him, closing his eyes and accepting it until he realized what Ivan had done.
- Conscience Makes You Go Back: He had an opportunity to escape with Ivan when they were children, but he chose not to, presumably because he'd be leaving Mizi behind.
- Crazy Jealous Guy: Could be this, if the lyrics in "Unknown(Till The End)..." are anything to go by.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: In Round 2, he immediately dominates the stage on entry and doesn't give his opponent a chance to sing. And when his opponent finally does try to speak up, he smashes his guitar to intimidate him, ensuring his win, at the cost of him being arrested.
- Dark and Troubled Past: It's heavily implied in Round 2 that he may have suffered the most abuse of all of the major contestants in the past, starting from his childhood. The flashbacks at the start of Round 6 show him as a victim of medical experiments.
- Death Seeker: By Round 6, he doesn't seem to care whether he lives or dies after Mizi's disappearance, to the point where he doesn't try to stop Ivan when he starts choking him. Fortunately, or perhaps, unfortunately for him, Ivan was bluffing so that the aliens would execute him and let Till win the round by default.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: In-Universe example; He is a newcomer to Alien Stage but has the fastest selling album of all the contestants, outselling even Ivan, who is stated to be the most popular with the fandom. His acts of defiance made him popular with the onlookers.
- Exhausted Eyebags: In Round 6, he is so full of grief over Mizi's disappearance and possible death, he's clearly gotten no sleep since then. The bags under his eyes have become increasingly dark.
- Eye Scream: In the flashbacks for Round 6, a single shot shows a syringe about to be inserted into his eye.
- Hot-Blooded: In Round 2. In PV's, he's also shown to be incredibly hostile towards other aliens, refusing to obey their instructions. Hence why he's often muzzled and tied up in order to manage him slightly better.
- Implied Rape: Heavily implied to have been sexually assaulted by the alien he attacked at the bar in Round 6. Considering how vile and abusive the aliens are to Till, it makes you wonder if this was even the first time it's happened.
- Incompatible Orientation: Is in love with Mizi, who likes Sua.
- Love Triangle: With Mizi and Sua.
- Mouth Taped Shut: In one of the teasers as he is chased around for a photo shoot, his mouth is taped shut.
- Oblivious to Love: Round 6 implies that he was so blinded by his one-sided affection for Mizi that he didn't realize how Ivan felt about him up until Ivan sacrificed himself for him.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: He's really not himself in Round 6 due to, well, see above. As such, the song he sings in that round is much slower and melancholic than the one he sung in Round 2.
- Rockers Smash Guitars: Smashes his own guitar at the end of Round 2 to intimidate his opponent from trying to sing.
- Shrinking Violet: Vivinos describes him as the most shy and timid of the six major contestants.
- Signature Instrument: His silver guitar. He's the only one of the six major contestants to be associated with an instrument that he performs with. Interestingly, his guitar is actually a lower-class Alien named Freddie.

A contestant in Alien Stage called Blocell's top brand reputation king - even reaching the top listing on fan popularity polls. He seems to hold some affection towards Till.- All Love Is Unrequited: He has a one-sided attachment to Till, which he's held for him since they were both children.
- Blood from the Mouth: After he is shot and dies in Round 6.
- Cute Little Fangs: He has a small fang on the left side of his mouth, which occasionally shows when he smiles. In an interview, it is revealed that his "fang" is a snaggletooth.
- Dark Is Not Evil: He's dressed in all black, but overall doesn't seem to be a bad person. Only doing what he can to keep himself alive by winning the competition. His first song is even called "Black Sorrow".
- Doesn't Know Their Own Birthday: His "birthday", February 14th, is called "adoption day". On February 14th 2024, the official Twitter account posted an illustration of Ivan where he says he doesn't know when his birthday is.
- Foil: He shares a non-zero amount of similarities with Sua with one very key exception. The person she loves loves her back. In a comic, this causes no small amount of angst for him.
- Go Out with a Smile: In Round 6 after he is shot for acting like he's choking Til, Ivan smiles and falls to the ground. Smiling one last time at the person he loves who's finally looking at just him before he hits the floor and dies.
- Heroic Sacrifice: He pretty much throws the round in Round 6 so that Till can progress, being shot to death after pretending to try to kill Till.
- Hopeless Suitor: He loves Till, who only has eyes for Mizi and likely doesn't even realize that Ivan is in love with him in the first place. In the end, the only time he gets Till to truly notice how strong his love for him is is when he sacrifices himself in Round 6 so that Till can live.
- Hypocrite: He accuses Sua for being Secretly Selfish for sacrificing herself for Mizi's sake in a comic. Come Round 6, that's exactly what he would do for Till to live.
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: Despite his interest in Till, he doesn't try to get between Till and Mizi. This is most notable when the two tried to escape and Ivan only gives a bittersweet smile at Till choosing to go back (presumably because of his crush on Mizi). He basically throws Round 6 in order for Till to win. Choosing instead to kiss him, lowering his score for not continuing to sing and pretending to hold Till's throat. Ivan would rather Till live than be the winner of that round.
- Last Kiss: He forces one on Till in Round 6, although it's unclear if he did it as a goodbye kiss, or if it was to get the aliens to lower his score for the round because he stopped singing before it was over, which would give Till the advantage. Given how the rest of the round went, it was possibly both.
- Meaningful Name: His name is the shortened form of the South Korean slang term ibanin (이반인), which is used by homosexuals to refer to other homosexuals.
- The Stoic: Is shown to be a quiet and stoic individual through most of his life, even when he was about to be dropped off a tall building.
Hyuna
Hyuna

A woman who saves Mizi during Round 5 and is the leader of a human resistance group, fighting back against their alien oppressors. She seems to have a past connection with Luka.- Action Girl: She easily dispatches a group of guards in episode that properly introduces her, All-In.
- Affectionate Gesture to the Head: Gives one to Luka when they were children. Though in current time, she seems to have mixed feelings over the one she once called a friend after Luka killed her brother.
- Ambiguously Brown: She's the most tanned out of the rest of the cast.
- Artificial Limbs: Her left leg is a prosthetic which can be shown clearer when she's wearing a bathing suit.
- Big Damn Heroes: She is part of the group that saves Mizi from execution in Round 5.
- Childhood Friends: With Luka. This ended badly for her after Luka killed her brother.
- Cool Shades: Wears a pair of stylish sunglasses when she and Mizi break into the facility.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Can be briefly be seen at the end of Round 5 as Luka stares up at her.
- Hard-Drinking Party Girl: Revealed to be this in her debut song All-in. Her wild life and drinking is implied in the lyrics of the song to be her way of escaping her trauma.
- Ms. Fanservice: She's shown lounging in a swimsuit during "All-In" and even teasingly pulls at the strap of her under shirt.
- No Sense of Personal Space: During "All-In" she's shown constantly getting into Mizi's personal space by nuzzling or kissing her face.
- Oral Fixation: Multiple shots of her during "All-In" show her snacking on lollipops.
- Trauma Button: Luka is hers, as it is revealed that when they were kids, she and her brother were friends with him, until Luka killed her brother by pushing him onto a rock during a fight.
- Rescue Introduction: Her first appearance outside of the prologue is saving Mizi at the end of Round 5.
- We Used to Be Friends: She and Luka actually grew up together when they were younger. But after one day when Luka pushed Hyuna's brother during a fight, he fell and hit his head against a rock, killing him instantly. Hyuna looks on in horror while Luka looks up at her with a twisted smile.
Luka

A contestant in Alien Stage who won the 49th season of the competition. The popularity he's amassed has resulted in him to starring in various TV shows and commercials.- Cold Ham: Dramatically dances all around Mizi during his performance, all while remaining calm and collected.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Is briefly seen at the end of Round 3.
- Emotion Suppression: In his interview, he talks a lot about the importance of remaining calm, going as far as keeping track of his heart rate and keeping it between 70-90 BPM.
- I Kiss Your Hand: He kisses the bloody hand of his opponent from round 4.
- Manipulative Bastard: During Round 5, he deliberately attempts to seduce Mizi, exploiting her trauma from witnessing Sua's death to guarantee his victory. It's implied that this is how he won the previous season.
- Mr. Fanservice: Puts on a seductive persona during his performance with Mizi. His fans also refer to him as the prince of the stage, suggesting that he's always like this.
- Older Than They Look: He's the oldest of the six major contestants at 30, but he looks to be in his early 20's.
- Rubik's Cube: International Genius Symbol: His Early-Bird Cameo has him sitting with a solved Rubik's cube, hinting at his calculating nature.
- Stepford Smiler: He is calm and polite during his interview, and smiles all throughout his Round 5 performance, though glimpses of him in the prologue and in Round 3 suggest he's not exactly happy to be in this situation.
- Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: Not that it should be much of a surprise given where most of these children were raised. But Luka's expression after killing Hyuna's brother when he was a child is one of absolute delight and excitement at what he had done. Almost as if he were proud of his work.
- Wolf Whistle: Starts his Round 5 song with one, highlighting the song's flirtatious nature.
