The original Remnant-native version of Sarah B. Sable, who was a partially-trained Huntress, a jackal faunus and on the same team as Ada Polendina, Robyn Hill and May Marigold. Like her current-universe version, she was transgender, but started transitioning far earlier.

  • Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence: Supposedly, as a reward for her sacrifice at the end of the previous world, she ascended to Emain Ablach, the supposed land of the gods, and became Anju/Anjing, the Jackal of Time worshipped by many Faun, including the Oki clan, and the "current" Sarah B. Sable is strongly implied to be a de-powered mortal version of her, blended with another Alternate Self.
  • Always Someone Better: For Sarah B. Sable, her current-universe counterpart. She was a mostly-trained Huntress and even worked alongside the future Happy Huntresses. Unfortunately, her existence was Ret-Goned by the Gods.
  • Broken Ace: She was strong, confident, and had much more combat experience than her current-universe counterpart, combined with seemingly being an active member of Ozma's Emerald Circle in her later years. Despite that, she was tormented all her life by prophetic nightmares, and always blamed herself for Team RAMS' failure, her father's death as well as Ada's later death at the hands of her own uncle. After returning to Atlas, she found some measure of happiness, then Salem showed up on her front door.
  • Cassandra Truth: Tried hard to warn her teammates and family of the coming danger, but all it really does is make other people think she's insane.
  • Dreaming of Things to Come: She seems to have started dreaming about the Fall of Beacon during the worst time to start having that, the 36th Vytal Festival, which was, like the later 42nd Vytal Festival, held in Vale.
  • Foregone Conclusion: Given what we know about what happened to the first timeline in Before the Whims of Fate, this version of Sarah is not going to get a happy ending.
  • Little Bit Beastly: She was a jackal faunus of the Chirola Clan, and notably a little bit of a paranoid survivalist because of it.
  • Mad Prophet: She was mentally unstable and nervous, due in no small part due to her having dreams of the Fall of Beacon almost every night.
  • Nervous Wreck: She was such an anxious mess of a woman that Robyn's nickname for her was Twitch.
  • Prophetic Fallacy: Because her dreams aren't specific about timeframe or date, she wrongly assumes that the Vytal Festival she and her team are going to attend is the one that's going to get attacked. This slight anxiety over what's to come develops into a panic disorder, which leads to her freezing during the Doubles Round and screwing RAMS out of progressing any further in the Vytal Festival.
  • Remember the New Guy?: Subverted. In-Universe, Robyn and May don't recognize Sarah when she arrives in the new timeline, despite supposedly having been friends with them beforehand. This is something of a hint that this version of Sarah belongs to the old version of Remnant as depicted in Before the Whims of Fate, not this one.
  • Ret-Gone: Due to the actions of the Gods in erasing the first timeline of Remnant, this version of Sarah no longer exists, but her memories seem to have somehow survived in the form of "Twitch", one of her current incarnation's Split Personalities
  • Revolvers Are Just Better: Much like her current-universe version, her weapon was a large-frame revolver, which she later upgraded to an HER-C.
