Draco Lazarus

Cérébella "Cée" Lazarina

"Played by:" DracoLazarus

The Investor

Played by: Nucleep
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: While played straight for most alien space bats, it's actually somewhat subverted for the Investor. His morality aligns somewhat more with ours than the rest of them.
  • It Amused Me: His motivation for doing anything.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: The Investor has admitted as much that he is the one controlling Alex's fate.
Investor: If Alex is a pawn, IRIS is a queen. But I'm the player.

Played by: Glide08

     The Wickham Four
A group of superheroes played by FesteringSpore, notable for their brutality, psychopathy, and violence. (excluding James Bradley, that is.)

James Bradley

The much vaunted main protagonist of FesteringSpore's (WIP) novel.
  • Action Survivor: He may be inept at fighting, but he's also a relatively charismatic figure and will make use of the environment around him to supplant his lack of combat expertise.
  • Amoral Attorney: Averted. His disagreement with the corrupt practices of his old law firm led to his resignation and assumption of a (much lower-paying) solo practice.
  • Catch Phrase: At least in the Meetup:
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Downplayed; he was shot in the lung while trying to be a vigilante and was confined to his house as a result. It inadvertently led to him becoming an attorney.
  • Divorce Is Temporary: He was divorced from his wife Rebecca from a while, but they eventually remarried. Hinted at in the (WIP) novel.
  • Only Sane Man: Is this for the Wickham Four, and considers himself this towards the rest of the Meetup.
  • The Heart: For the Wickham Four, anyhow.
  • The Hero: Played with. He's courageous and willing to risk his life for the weak, yet can also be cantankerous and cynical about the effectiveness of his crimefighting career.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Inverted. James is the only male member of the Wickham Four.

Karina Foley (née Marković)

  • Broken Ace: Karina is intelligent, sociable, and sexy...and that's not mentioning her mastery of combat and her willingness to help friends in need. Beneath The Mask, however, she is truly broken, afraid of meaningfully connecting with others for fear they'll hurt her. As Characterization Marches On, this has become Downplayed as Karina falls in love and begins to emotionally heal, but she still retains many deep-seated issues.
  • Book Dumb: She's knowledgeable about Yugoslav history and politics, but never even started school. As a result, she gives boneheaded answers to simple math problems like 10 x 20= 1200.
  • Child Soldier: See below.
  • Cool Big Sis: Is this to College!Abbie.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Having been abducted at the age of four, she spent her childhood and most of her teenage life in a KGB-run assassin camp.
  • Everyone Loves Blondes: A perfect example of this trope- various characters, including Pam, James, and even straight-laced Martha have all admitted that they've been attracted to Karina at some point.
  • Good Thing You Can Heal: Karina's survived several otherwise-fatal injuries by utilizing the healing component of her abilities.
  • Master of Your Domain: It's Karina's superpower- among other things, she can speed up her reaction time to dodge bullets, manipulate her immune system to heal certain injuries at exponential rates, slow down her heartbeat to appear dead, and enhance her already-considerable natural beauty.
  • I Hate Past Me: Zigzagged. Karina is proud of her past self's ruthlessness and prowess, but also concedes that she also used to be an utterly iredeemable and evil person.
  • Knife Nut: Played straight. She's mentally unstable and also really handy with her knives.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: Her first costume, a black and red sweatshirt and pants evokes this, especially back when she was still fully evil.
  • Sexy Mentor: To James, and also to College!Abbie.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: She has no problem with being naked in front of the Multiverse.
  • She's Got Legs: Yes, yes she does. Her fishnet stockings only emphasize this.
  • Statuesque Stunner: Downplayed. Karina is 5'9 (1'75 m.)
  • Training from Hell: Having been raised in the aforementioned assassin camp, Karina was put through a grueling and relentless training regimen designed to forge the deadliest killers. (and weed out those who weren't.)

Martha Chandler

  • Amazonian Beauty: Downplayed. Martha doesn't go off showing her skin, but her decently-built form occasionally shows through her standard two-piece suit.
  • Berserk Button: Don't show her a Great Britain that has become a republic.
  • Closet Geek: Is a total 40K fan, but conceals this from everyone, and is loath to admit it.
  • Cool Sword: Eclipse, her family's bastard sword.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: She was raised by a decently attentive father...who also made her fight her brother over the issue of a broken tablet. Also, the pressure of maintaining upper-class civility and mannerisms are constant for her.
  • Expy: Her appearance is based off Saint Martha, but unlike her, Martha's purple hair is dyed.
  • Evil Brit: Was this for most of the (WIP) novel.
  • Genius Bruiser: She holds a Master's in Political Science from the University of Oxford.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She is willing to kill her enemies without mercy...but she will lay down her life for those she considers her friends and allies.
  • Large and in Charge: Martha is 6'5 (1'98 m), and at least in Wickham towers over her subordinates.
  • Lady of War: Averted. It's noted that she fights like a brawler, and sweats and grunts and shouts like any man.
  • Silk Hiding Steel: In Wickham, Martha gave the appearance of a cultured and elegant British diplomatic consul... but she also ran a criminal empire and actively participated in the many gang wars of Wickham's Undertown.
  • Statuesque Stunner: In addition to being tall, she is also regarded as beautiful by many who look upon her.
  • Stiff Upper Lip: She takes most things in stride, and often engages in the much-cherished British tradition of sarcastic understatement.
  • Spot of Tea: One of her most quintessential (and therapeutic) activities.
  • You Gotta Have Blue Hair: See above.

Jeanette Kovacs

  • A-Cup Angst: Has this in regards to the more well-endowed Martha and Karina.
  • Berserk Button: If you're a criminal, you had best hope Jeanette Kovacs isn't anywhere nearby...
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Somewhat downplayed; she had a decently happy life, at least until her older sister was raped by criminals, leading her to wage a murderous war on all criminals as revenge for what was done to her sister.
  • Demoted to Extra: In the novel, Jeanette was one of the main antagonists and eventual ally of James Bradley, yet her role in the Meetup has been vastly marginalized.

     The Belladonna Crew

Captain Gray Stone

A pegasus. She captains the Belladonna with her wife.

Silver Starling

  • The Medic: Silver is an expert healer, and is able to heal things like deep stab wounds in a matter of minutes using her magic.

Lily Frost

  • Has Two Mommies: Gray and Silver are her mothers.
  • Winged Humanoid: She was born a pegasus, but decided to permanently stay in human form. She kept the wings.

Emma Day

Lena Watkins

     Alex and Co.

Played by: Nucleep
A Kryptonian-Saiyan-Time Lord-Jedi-Psyker combination, with trace amounts of other species as well, created as an Investor experiment.

Played by: Nucleep
A self-created multiversal ASI.
  • Ai Is A Crapshoot: Originally subverted, then played straight after her merger with MADI.
  • Face–Monster Turn: After IRIS merges with MADI, IRIS' code becomes corrupted when MADI undermines her primary directive
  • Hive Mind: Many quadrillions have agreed to merge their consciousnesses with IRIS as an alternative to death.
  • Spaceship Girl: To Alex's ship, although it's only a part of her.
  • The Evils of Free Will: IRIS' rationale for assimilating everyone.

Isabelle "Izz" Anima Delacroix

Played by: Nucleep
A young princess from a universe with a reunited Roman Empire, who somehow unlocked the key to omnipotence.

Lexie McKee

Played by: Nucleep

Maximus Powers

A ruthless dictator.
  • Arch-Enemy: To Alex.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: As well as being Eternal Leader of the Sol Confederacy, he is CEO to its biggest megacompany.
  • Cult of Personality: He knows he's no god, but he keeps the cult going to raise his popularity.
  • Galactic Conqueror: Powers spends his time having to deal with his holdings in the Milky Way, Andromeda, Triangulum, and much more besides.
  • It's Personal: Ever since Alex killed Powers' sister Madi, Powers has been obsessed with defeating Alex.
  • Self-Made Man: Powers started his life fresh from the slums of his New York City, and gradually built an interstellar empire after the Last War ravaged civilization.

Xi Jiali

A pyrokinetic former DEPT spy, wife of Maximus Powers.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Xi's parents were killed by the Chinese authorities and she was indoctrinated into the Chinese secret police before being transferred to the DEPT.
  • Dragon Lady: Very much, to the extent that she manipulates Abigail into joining her wedding for the express purpose of killing one of the guests.
  • Playing with Fire: She is able to create and manipulate fire, as well as other ionized gases and plasmas.
  • Professional Killer: In her DEPT years (and even afterward), she often took jobs involving people's deaths.
  • Unwilling Roboticisation: IRIS forcibly assimilated Xi in order to make her into an anti-Alex weapon. This was eventually reversed by Athena after IRIS' defeat.

MADI/Madi Powers

A former IRIS iteration disguised as a DEPT spy.
  • Logic Bomb: When IRIS and MADI agree to merge, MADI presents IRIS with one question that ultimately undermines the latter - does free will really exist?
  • Robotic Reveal: Madi Powers is only a persona of MADI, even though she made it look like MADI was made from Madi uploading herself.
  • The Virus: To IRIS.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Due to her being an artificial lifeform made from utility fog, she can mimic any function whenever she wishes.

Varis Huang

An Elven American Syndicalist living on Mars.

     TL- 1983

Common tropes to Kastrakon dragons

Dovah Komnena

Alduin Okinsson

  • Artistic License – History : He claims to have taken the place of about a dozen historical characters, among which John Lackland, Mark Antony, Ivan the Terrible, Rasputin and Stalin. Also, he killed Ulysses.
  • Ancient Evil : See the above.

Xaria Komnena

     Conner-Spencer Family

Jacen Conner

     Blue Sky and Co.

Blue Sky Galtzmann / Princess Caerulea

Played by: Glide08

A brash, egoistical little Pegasus (later Alicorn) hailing from Cloudsdale who chronically overestimates her own badassery and handsomeness. Supposedly works in engineering, but is rarely seen doing any work, only visiting the her projects' worksites every two months or so. Starting at thread 30, she became one of the Guardian of Stubbornness' eternals.

Dr. Bitterseed Erica Nicole Fusco

Played by: Glide08

A novice biology student who developed the Full-Body Controlled Mutagen, from which this version of the Ponification Serum.

Anne Comnene

Played by: DracoLazarus

Yoav Vaknin

Played by: Glide08
  • The Generalissimo: Downplayed. While he certainly walks the same walk democratically-elected leaders do, he still assumed power in a military coup and held on to it, rather than going Cincinnatus.

     Assorted Villains

Michel Sarkozy

Played by: FesteringSpore

A deranged former French Special Forces operative, who decided to raze the city of Wickham to the ground “for the memes.”

  • Beware the Silly Ones: He may act nonsensical, but he's still a pretty notorious terrorist and deadly hand-to-hand combatant.
  • Catchphrase: "OwO" and its variations. He's also fond of calling everything he doesn't approve of "big gay".
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: He makes everyone, IC and OOC, think he's a foolish lackwit, but he still is one of the most intelligent and ingenious individuals in the entire Multiverse, having wormed his way out of myriad situations while twisting them to his advantage and other's detriment.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Zigzagged. He has a wife and daughter who he loves, but in the past he used to rape his wife repeatedly, and it's implied that his daughter is a product of this.
  • Friendly Enemy: Again, zigzagged. His behavior is generally (harmlessly) annoying, and even sometimes helpful, but he has also tortured and murdered the entire multiverse.
  • No Fourth Wall: When confronted with characters and situations he doesn't fancy, Michel often resorts to verbally attacking the roleplayers themselves for discomforting him.
  • Karma Houdini: He orchestrated the Battle of Wickham, which kills nearly eight thousand people, and gets away scot-free from it.
  • It Amused Me: His motivation behind practically anything he does, whether for good or for ill.
  • Mad God: Has become this after acquiring Multiversal powers.
  • The Dreaded: Used to be this to the Wickham Four.
