Chor Au-Kuen

Generation Xerox: Looks exactly like his father.
Naïve Newcomer: Having been away for at least fifteen years, he needed to have the unspoken 'rules' of the City spelled out for him.
Punny Name: His name means 'left hook'.
Red Oni, Blue Oni: He's the Red Oni to Duen Ying-fung's Blue Oni.
Unskilled, but Strong: While he certainly has the strength, he initially was unable to deal with a pair of thugs, and his first fight against the Fung brothers would have been deadly. Yuk Bo-fung decides to teach him more proper techniques to better hone his style.

Duen Ying-fung

Tiu Lan

Hidden Badass: She is later revealed to be part of an assassin's guild.
Punny Name: In Chinese, Tiu Lan is a homophone to "to give someone a difficult time."

Lung Shing-fu

Blood Knight: Aside from being Au Man-Cheung's right-hand man, he's also the undefeated champion of the underground fighting ring. In one instance where he's sent off to intimidate Fung Chun-mei, he notes that he was looking forwards facing the latter's Eagle Claw technique.
Klingon Promotion: He became Or Man-cheun's enforcer by killing his predecessor.
Names to Run Away from Really Fast: In Chinese, his name directly translates to 'Dragon becoming Tiger'
Noble Top Enforcer: Lung Shing-fu may be the right hand man of one of the leaders of The Fellow Association, but woe anyone who dares to hurt his mother.

Yuk Bo-fung

Action Mom: She's Lung Shing-fu's mother who taught him how to fight. Even with her age, she's capable of throwing down with thugs.
The Mentor: She teaches Chor Au-Kuen proper fighting techniques against the Fellow Association's styles.
Retired Badass: She is a retired Wing Chun and Muay Thai master from Mainland China, who later brings her only son, Lung Shing-fu, to the Walled City after her husband's death.

Fa Man

Manipulative Bastard: She drops the 'bastard' part later on.
Ms. Fanservice: The owner of a wealthy brothel establishment in the walled city, and is a striptease performer herself.
Silk Hiding Steel: Her cover as a striptease performer helps hide her martial arts skills.

Or Tak-li Audrey

Attempted Rape: At the hands of Fung Ha-Moon, even. Lung Shing-fu makes sure he will never lay a hand on her, or any other girl again.
Bodyguard Crush: She eventually falls in love with Lung Shing-fu.
Daddy's Girl: Is quite sweet with her father.
Naïve Newcomer: As she had just returned from the UK, she has no idea about the horrors of the Walled City.
Spoiled Sweet: She's one of the more optimistic people around, and being Or Man-cheung's daughter means she's quite well off.

Antagonists

Fung Chun-mei

Big Brother Instinct: When Ha-Moon is killed, he swears vengeance against his killer.
Sibling Yin-Yang: While Chun-Mei is a Soft-Spoken Sadist Agent Peacock, his younger brother Ha-Moon is a Boisterous Bruiser Serial Rapist.
Sissy Villain: The most flamboyant of the three leaders of the Fellow Association, he and his brother also control most of the city's brothels and performance clubs.
Wolverine Claws: The lethality of his Eagle Claw technique is amped up thanks to a set of steel claws.

Fuk Sau-kam

Feel No Pain: Thanks to years of drug abuse, he's developed quite the pain tolerance.
Functional Addict: Controls most of the drug rings within the Walled City, and is an addict to boot.

Or Man-cheung

Even Evil Has Loved Ones: While many things despicable can be said about him, his love for Audrey is genuine.
Heel–Face Turn: After Fuk Sau-kam's old drug-maker tries to assassinate him, he nearly dies and has a change of heart, retiring from the Fellow Association and transforming his casinos into restaurants. He in fact Exploited this to lure out the real killer behind the other Fellow Association leaders
Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: Controls most of the gambling operations within the walled city, including the city's biggest underground fighting ring.

Yeung Chuk-luen (UNMARKED SPOILERS)

The Dog Was the Mastermind: No one would have thought the meekly cake seller was in actuality the boss of an assassination guild.
Greater-Scope Villain: He's the one who killed Duen Tung-tin and ordered the hit on Au
Made of Iron: He has trained his body to be tougher than iron. Fortunately for the heroes, it comes with an Achilles' Heel that others can exploit. Unfortunately, he is able to change the location of said weak spot.
