- In the Assassin's Creed II Novelization, the authors of the series expand on the creed by adding stanza's that complement the role of the Assassin order in society. They punctuate the fact that Assassin's are the silent sentinels of human liberty.
- The Black Knights in Darwin
(and later the E.U.'s military) have a simple creed that best demonstrates Lelouch's philosophy.The only sin is defeat. The only grace is victory.

- The Epic Tiberium Wars fanfic has this from a Mammoth Tank crewman:Yea verily, though I charge through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am driving a house-sized mass of "fuck you."
- The Black Hand have their own, more solemn creed:

- The seven Champions apparently have creeds defining them.
- After Illya becomes a queen, she decides to take on House Words to reflect Westeros traditions. She chooses "Durch Sieg Gesablt", which means "By Victory Anointed" in German.
- The God of Destruction comes to Remnant: When Velvet and Coco attempt their Taking You with Me gambit, they recite a chant from the Great War used by Huntsmen who are about to die.If we die tonight, then we shall die together as one.

- In the sequel, as the Orange Corps has no known oath, Nidra creates one on the spot after finally giving in and subsequently wiping the floor with Luna, and stealing her powers.

- The A Man of Iron universe has the oath of the Knights of the Dawn, which later evolved into the oath of the Night's Watch (itself an example, and doubles as a Title Drop for the third installment in the series):"The Night falls... but forever it shall not last. - In any of the RWBY stories by Coeur Al'Aran, whenever someone unlocks another person's aura, they recite a short chant. Each one of those follows the formula similar to the one Pyrrha used in the show, but with several changes to emphasize the given character's personality and ideals.
- Adam Taurus in A Monster's Marriage gives his own spin when unlocking Jaune's aura to save his life. Afterwards, Jaune says it's the edgiest thing he's ever heard.Adam: For it is through strength that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a symbol of power and glory to rise above all. - Ozpin unlocks Jaune's aura in Tending to the Soul after Salem tries to kill him. Previously Glynda had tried but was too distraught to get the words right.Ozpin: For it is in passing... that we achieve immortality. - A lost fanfic had one recorded by Parma who had been transformed into a guardian of the Core.I close my eyes and all I can see is utter darkness, the same darkness I saw when awake.And then the light came in, and with it came our death, and rebirth.Far beyond the ashes of the castle.We wait within the core and we wait for those who would take it from us.

- A Voice in the Wilderness puts a twist on the Badass Creed of the Borg Collective because the ships in question have been taken over by the original Borg Queen, One of One:"Surrender your vessel. - In The Gray Jedi Series, the Gray Jedi have a Code of their own.Flowing through all there is balance.
There is no Dark Side, nor a Light Side, there is only the Force.
